literally taking words out of my own mouth. and yknow, i love jegulus actually, but what i love is the opposite dynamic that you could never get with prongsfoot, the "running into each other in the battlefield from opposite sides" kind of drama and the way they really force each other to get out of their comfort zone and confront their biases. and i swear i can't read 90% of todays jegulus fics for this exact reason it drives me insaneeeee

i’ve read exactly two jegulus fics i like so far. i don’t think it’s a surprise to anyone that both of them have sirius as a central character who’s in the know about the relationship since the beginning lol (it’s this and this) sadly, i don’t think either of those are angsty enough for ur tastes :p

also gosh yes!! i think, of all we know about them, one thing both of them would be agreed on is that sirius is no. 1. like even in a war setting for example, where they’re both on different sides, i can see them meeting clandestinely just to come to the mutual conclusion that no matter what happens, sirius does not get hurt. but also, the possible flip side of that is so much angst. jealousy, bitterness, possessiveness—both of them want sirius’ attention in different ways and there’s resentment between them for the longest time because of it. reg because he thinks james stole his brother and james because he thinks reg could’ve done more to protect him/doesn’t like how his actions hurt sirius.

i think james’ black and white morality would also play a big role here. in his mind, regulus should’ve chose sirius above everything else. his actions of siding with his family would read as betrayal to james who has no patience for that or anything that hurts sirius. he doesn’t care for the complexities and nuances that reg’s life is probably made of.

on the other hand, i think regulus would also be at least a little aware of that fact? and he’d hate the fact that james has it so easy. not just in terms of obvious privilege (which the blacks do too) but also like, how easy it is for him to be brave and moral and good when regulus has to claw his way out to achieve some semblance of balance in his life. james’ judgement seems not just hypocritical but also unfounded for him, because james has never had to fight against the kind of pressures he had. and he knows, deep down, where j is coming from too which makes him even more angry at the whole situation.

i can see both of them hiding this animosity from sirius for the longest time, because they know he wouldn’t like it, at all. he puts up this front that he doesn’t care about his family but he does, and james doesn’t wanna make that anxiety worse. no one can be blind to how close sirius is to james, def not regulus, so he puts up the bare minimum effort into making sure he doesn’t show more hostility than required. also,,,,i think both of them might have this latent fear that if they force sirius to choose, they might be the ones left behind? like,,i don’t think sirius will actually do that but it’s an irrational anxiety that they do not wanna materialise under any circumstance so they try their best to make sure it never happens.

and sirius would be the impetus of change for both of them, in my mind. they’re a package deal on both ends so they have to learn to, like u said, confront their biases. i genuinely think sirius is central to a jegulus arc so seeing him cut out or turned into the villain or used only as a wolfstar puppet just really, really enrages me lol

i do still have a few oneshots that i eventually want to get to in the atyd another perspective series, but i honestly have no idea when i'm going to get around to writing them just bc there are other projects holding my focus rn, so i'm basically just considering it on hold indefinitely :)

and i've already talked a little about writing advice in this post, but i feel like i got very rambly over there so i'm gonna try and be more concise here:

(first - a disclaimer: i’ve never really studied english and am by no means a creative writing expert, so i’m not the best person to give advice about like...technical aspects of writing. the advice that i do have to offer has more to do with mindset!)

1 - no writing is bad writing! writing is just like any other creative pursuit -- playing an instrument, painting, drawing, etc. the more you practice, the better you’ll get. especially if you’re just starting out, try not to beat yourself up if your stories don’t come out the way you want them to. any piece of writing you create -- no matter how cliche or full of grammatical errors or boring or incoherent it might be -- is you practicing + learning + growing as a writer. focus on having fun with the process and try not to beat yourself up if you aren’t reaching, like, ~writing perfection~ (bc perfection in writing doesn’t exist anyway!)

2 - you’re not selling a product, you’re sitting around a campfire. i genuinely feel like that’s the best way i can summarize this point lmao

what i’m trying to say here is that i think it’s really easy to get into this capitalist-brainwashing-induced mindset that anything you create is a product for consumption. this leads to a lot of pressure to not only create at an unsustainably fast pace, but it means that if your audience doesn’t like the product, or if there’s not a large audience coming to consume the product, it’s easy to feel like a failure.

but that’s not what writing is about!! writing is about storytelling and the communities it can build and the joy of imagination!! good writing is messy and stupid and fun and driven by emotion, not capital gain (at least, in my opinion)! if there is even one person who wants to sit around the proverbial campfire with you and listen to your story, that’s so exciting!! if you’re at the campfire by yourself looking up the stars and hanging out with a bunch of funky little characters in your head, that’s so much fun!! this mindset shift has been the most helpful thing for me personally when it comes to writing, because in the past i really felt like writing wasn’t really worth the time unless i was working towards the ultimate goal of publication. now that i’m writing purely for the fun of it, and writing stories that i enjoy, regardless of whether i think they’ll appeal to a broad audience, it’s like the floodgates have been opened and suddenly writing isn’t a chore or a burden but just something that i truly, truly love -- and also something that has helped me plug into a community of other people who write for the joy of writing, and i truly think that is so special and unique in this day and age <3

- you both like each other but you both know your relationship isn't going to work. - you actually met each other at a pub on a night out. - you're both very social and outgoing, so the first time you met you both got very drunk resulting in having over a dozen of photos of him laughing and doing shots and all around being a drunken menace. his phone number was written on your arm to call him. - you show sirius some of taylor swift's music, he criticises most of it but you can tell he doesn't actually hate it as much as he lets on. he shows you music that he likes to listen to. his room is full of vinyls and he always lets you pick whatever one you want to listen to. you don't really know them but you pick them by album cover. - summer's are always fun, longer days and sunny weather. beach days and pool days and garden parties and bbq's. - sirius' eyes never leave yours as he watches you in the summer wearing summer dresses and swimwear. - you'll show him your art and he'll ask you if he can keep one of your pieces in his place because he thinks they're so good. - he admires how dedicated you are to projects but when he wants to do something sometime's you'll be busy. conflicting schedules means sometimes you won't see each other for awhile. - one night when you were tipsy you told sirius about how you believed in true love and soulmates, you can picture his face even now. you could tell he didn't share the same sentiment. - nothing had drastically changed between the two of you but it still had changed. sirius just doesn't believe in true love. he wont ever admit it but he knows he has commitment issues too. - you both really care about each other and have so much fun together neither of you want it to end. your viewpoints on love and relationships are so different though one day you both know it'll have to end. your relationship will never be more than it is now, you'll never be official, he'll never say the 'l' word.

Hi everyone!!

I’ll be writing again soon and I wanted to give you guys some information on what I’m gonna be doing on here from now on. There’s gonna be a few changes to how I’ll be handling my blog and my writing which is why I’m making this post so everything makes sense and you know what’s coming <3

Fandoms

As you’ve probably seen on my blog these past few weeks, I’ve fallen back in love with the Harry Potter universe and I’ve decided I will be writing fanfiction about Harry, Fred Weasley, and the Marauders (Wolfstar content, Sirius Black x Reader, Remus Lupin x Reader, and some Marauders headcanons). I will still be writing for Peter Parker in the MCU fandom and I will also be writing for Drake Walker from the Choices fandom. However, I’ve decided that after I finish my series “A Shitty Love Song” (Stiles Stilinski x Reader), I will officially stop writing for Stiles.

He’s still one of my comfort characters but I don’t feel as inspired anymore and because Teen Wolf ended so long ago now, I just don’t feel the same love for it as I used to. I will definitely still reblog gif sets and shitposts about Teen Wolf!! and I will not stop talking about Stiles on my blog lmao but I won’t be writing about him anymore. I know a lot of people follow me for that, so I apologise if you feel let down or disappointed. 

I really appreciate all the love and the support you guys have been surrounding me with ever since I joined the Teen Wolf fandom, and I still love yall and will gladly discuss the show with you guys!! Thank you for understanding, I really hope you’ll still enjoy my blog and my content!

NSFW Content

Because I was a minor up until last August, I wasn’t comfortable with writing smut or NSFW content. My views on NSFW content on tumblr have changed a lot in the past few months and I have realised that I am now responsible for the content that I decide to share with readers and followers. I am 18 years old and I now feel comfortable writing smut, meaning I will be posting NSFW fics on my blog starting now. However, I would like to make some things clear:

If you are under 18 years old, I ask that you do not interact with my NSFW content. You are allowed to read my other fanfiction and you are allowed to interact with my blog and with me, however, my NSFW content is off limits. I know that this won’t necessarily make sense to everyone, and I know people will be upset, but this is a boundary I will enforce for your own protection as well as my own. I really am sorry if you feel disappointed or feel excluded, but smut is written pornography and there is a reason why the law prohibits minors from interacting with it. 

As a legal adult, I do not feel comfortable supplying minors with sexual content. All minors, including my friends/mutuals, will be blocked if they interact with my NSFW content, so I ask again: please do not interact with my NSFW content if you are under 18, regardless of where you live, where you’re from, and regardless of your past sexual experiences. I will not be making exceptions and this isn’t up for discussion. I really do not want to be rude or act pretentious, but this really is a necessity and I will be taking this seriously.

Like I said, I will now start writing smut, however I will only be writing smut about 18 year olds and above. I do not feel comfortable writing smut about minors, even if they are 16-17. I know that minors engage in sexual behaviour in real life, but like I said, I do not feel comfortable writing about it. I also will not be writing non-con content, nor will I write about incest or dubious consent content. I ask that you please respect my choice.

For the sake of transparency, I will keep tagging the sexual content on my blog as NSFW and I will add it in the warnings above my fanfiction every time. Again, I ask that you respect these boundaries if you are a minor. I also ask that the other adult creators tag my writings as NSFW if they decide to reblog them. Thank you!!

Lastly, because I am 18, I want to say that if you feel uncomfortable with me interacting with your content or talking to you, do not hesitate to tell me and I will respect your own boundaries. Friendships on tumblr are complicated because everyone can stay anonymous while maintaining relationships with each other, which can make some people very uncomfortable, especially minors. I will completely understand if you would rather I stay away from your blog.

What I Read

I love reading people’s fanfiction and I really try to be supportive of my friends and their content however I have realised that there are a few things I see that make me uncomfortable, which is why I have decided to tell you guys that I will not be reading NSFW content about real people anymore. I don’t judge creators that do write about real people, nor do I necessarily disagree with them, I just know that it doesn’t make me feel comfortable anymore so I will not be reading those kinds of fics anymore. I am really sorry if that upsets or disappoints you but I’m not going to force myself to read things that make me feel uneasy haha.

Also, I don’t think I have ever interacted with fanfiction that talks about someone’s real life trauma because it always made me feel extremely uncomfortable, and I don’t intend on starting now so please don’t tag me in content like that! I don’t want to disrespect your work or your writing, but I feel that there are certain boundaries we have to respect as “fans” and romanticising a real person’s personal trauma is just not right in my eyes (Dylan O’Brien’s accident for instance). Yes, this includes past relationships or exes (something I didn’t always respect but now I do).

Speaking of trauma, I would like to specify something. 

I will not, and will never romanticise a character on here who’s personality revolves around his/her/their trauma (yes, even if it’s fictional). It was a big issue with Arvin Russell in the Tom Holland fandom, and it will be an even bigger issue when Cherry comes out. I used to read Mitch Rapp fanfiction, something that I don’t intend on doing anymore, unless it’s soft Mitch who’s resolved his issues haha. If a character’s entire story arc and trauma has turned them into a violent and mentally ill person, it is not something that I want to romanticise or fantasize about. It can be harmful because it reinforces the idea that toxic relationships and/or violence are romantic or sexy things. They aren’t.

24. Popular character you hate: Tbh I have quite a few.

I'm not really a big fan of Zenitsu in Demon Slayer, I guess I don't hate him, but I find his character really annoying, and not interesting at all compared to the others.

Because I love putting a target on my back in this fandom ig, I don't like Lucy or Laxus (and have never understood why they're such fandom favs). I've talked about why with Lucy before, but I don't like Laxus because I just have no sympathy for him. There was no real reason for any of the antagonistic shit he did, and in my opinion, he never did enough to earn back the respect and friendship he got after everything he did. It all just got swept under the rug

I don't think this is super unpopular but I fucking hate Sasuke and Naruto lmao I think both their characters are obnoxious, and really poorly handled by the narrative, and considering I don't like the two main characters, it's why it took me so fucking long to make it through that series

King is the most annoying character in the entirety of Seven Deadly Sins (and that's really saying something) and I hate the amount of focus he gets considering how bland he is compared to the others, idk why the fandom seems to like him so much

I could keep going, but I'll let it rest here lmao

28: Most upsetting moment in anime, why: Listen, I love Bleach, I really do, but I hate the way the last three arcs of the series are handled. Like I understand that Aizen was meant to build up some of the shit with the Thousand Year Blood War arc, but I hate that he was the main villain for literally the entirety of the series, except for the last arc. Like narratively, it pisses me off so much. The Fullbring arc just should not exist, at all, and Ichigo either should have remained powerless, or gotten his powers back at some point during the TYBW arc, the Fullbring bit smashed in between Aizen and the TYBW arc ruins the immersion and ruins a lot of the Shinigami characters, because I refuse to believe that Rukia or Renji would have just never visited Ichigo because he lost his powers, it really disillusions the friendship they had

1. Do you prefer posting fics to Tumblr or AO3–and why?

I prefer tumblr mostly because this is where I’ve always been. Like I’ve been on this hellsite since I was 12 okay? It’s home. Also I feel like it’s easier to communicate with everyone else on here? Idk that might just be me, but that’s how I feel. 

2. Reader inserts, OCs, or strictly canon?

If you haven’t figured it out yet I prefer to write reader inserts. It’s something I’ve been doing since I was a child dreaming about getting into Hogwarts and I just really love the feeling it gives me. I do like to read the occasional canon fic with pairings like stucky, stony or wandanat (because yes), but it’s mostly reader insert.

3. Do you prefer sticking to the canon or writing AUs?

y’all know I’m a slut for AUs. We love living in denial amirite @wintersoldierswhore ;) But seriously most of the time I prefer to both read and write AUs I really really love it.

4. What’s a project you’re dying to start working on?

I’ve already kinda started it, but for @prettyyoungtragedy ‘s 10k challenge I got the prompt firefighter!au with bucky and I’m so excited to start!! I’ve already written the outline and planned it (it’s gonna be a mini-series) plus written a prologue, but I can’t WAIT to start writing the rest of it. I just really love it. 

5. When did you start writing fanfiction?

When I was 12 years old ish? Maybe 11? I don’t really remember, but it’s been awhile. I’ve kind of always been writing fanfiction, but like not the traditional way? When I was like 7 I would write “Christa and Sirius Go On Adventures!!!” and stuff lol it was very cringe but kind of endearing. (I loved Sirius Black so much and I looked at him as a father so I wrote things where he was my adoptive father and saved me lmao) So yeah.

6. Do you write non-fanfiction fiction (haha), too?

I used to do it more before, but I still do it every now and then. Now I don’t write as much it’s more like I let my OCs live in my imagination. But I hope to one day pick up my characters and continue writing seriously. 

7. Which fictional character do you relate to the most and why?

Uhhh man I don’t know. The marvel character I relate to the most is probably Natasha Romanoff because she’s been through so much, but she’s still out here smiling and kicking ass. I also relate to her specifically because she mixes both badass and kind + she kinda strikes me as a teasing mom friend. (I also recently found out I most likely can’t have kids so like we got that in common too.) 

If we’re talking non-marvel I really relate to Charlie Bradbury from Supernatural because of the everything about her. She’s geeky, smart, kinda nervous and loves the Winchesters with all she’s got. Same. 

8. What is your writing ritual? Like, do you have a playlist? Snacks? Coffee?

It depends really. Usually though I listen to one of my three (yeah you heard me) writing playlists and type away at a furious pace. Sometimes I ignore a hot cup of tea I’ve made, but other than that I don’t eat/drink anything because I’m so busy writing.

9. Do you outline or wing it?

For one-shots I usually plan the story out in my mind before I write it (unless it’s one of my 3 AM fics in that case I just write whatever), but for more important fics or series I usually type up an outline. 

10. What do you do to get inspiration?

For me it really helps to just read other fanfiction? It gets my creativity going. Or I scroll through Pinterest and read all these writing ideas and prompts or look at pictures. 

11. What is your favorite line from something you’ve written?

I haven’t posted this fic yet (and idk if I’m going to, but this one’s pretty nice: 

“The moonlight caught in a piece of metal, making it shine almost like a star, like the stars they used to watch together.”

1) How old were you when you first starting writing fanfiction?

um 13 I think? or 12? I was trying to understand where harry/ginny came from in hbp so I wrote some missing scenes. they might still be floating out there but I sincerely wish I could remember my passwords from almost a decade ago so I could delete them, lmao.

3) Do you prefer writing OC’s or reader inserts? Explain your answer.

I... didn’t know reader inserts were a real thing tbh until a couple years ago. I find the idea a bit strange, in all honesty, and while I don’t have a lot of ocs nowadays I also definitely prefer that to reader inserts which makes for weird reading, I’ve found.

5) If you had to choose a favourite out of all of your multi chaptered stories, which would it be and why?

renascence (nsfw), mostly because lauryssa is my heart and soul and also I really liked the fact that I managed to make this semi plotty, which is a mission and a half for me usually. also I just love any premise that involves both smashing canon with a sledgehammer and making it so much gayerbetter.

7) When is your preferred time to write?

I like writing at around 9.30pm to about 11pm. that’s my prime time in terms of concentration and usually I don’t feel rushed like I would while on public transport or whatever.

god I hate saying this because I absolutely adore my boy johnny, but writing hullen johnny in fix you was a nightmare and honestly I still don’t think I did it right. I think it didn’t help that hullen johnny was written purposely unevenly because he kept switching between hullen and human and so trying to replicate that in some way was really bloody hard. also. hullen johnny was a five star dickhead tbh.

15) If you write OC’s, how do you decide on their names?

I honestly can’t remember the last oc I wrote in fanfic. but uh in my original project that I have going - I may or may not have named a character yalena. :)

18) Do you have any abandoned WIP’s? What made you abandon them?

I don’t want to say the chase, a lauryssa fic set on earth-7 with (dinah) laurel being the green arrow and nyssa as black canary, because ideally I’d like to finish it one day. but rn I think it’s on hiatus because I’m out of ideas for the time being. I think I need to sit down and plan it rather than do it off the cuff like everything else I write lmao.

36) Can you give us a spoiler for one of your WIP’s?

so I started writing a lauryssa thing after working with @laurelances on a gifset and it’s basically just inspired by the set, but sorta with the roles reversed? anyway there’s this hilarious (in my mind anyway) lawyer joke and honestly I think I’m so funny:

“I think you know which thing I meant,” Laurel interrupts, wishing her heart would stop thudding so fiercely against her ribcage. “I… told you I loved you.”

Nyssa nods and bites her lip the way she always does when she's nervous.

“Yeah. Why did you say that?”

That throws Laurel off somewhat, even though she knows Nyssa wouldn't say anything hurtful on purpose. “Whoa, objection,” she says hotly before she can stop herself, and then miraculously they both laugh and some of the tension eases.

“Objection sustained, counsellor,” Nyssa replies with a smile.

39) Do you prefer first, second or third person?

third. good lord. I haven’t written in first or second person since my hp days so it would turn out awful if I tried because I’m so rusty.

43) Has anyone ever guessed the plot twist of one of your fics before you posted it?

I don’t really do plot twists in all honesty. so I’m not sure. I don’t think so.

45) What spurs you on during the writing process?

getting some kind of validation. whether that’s through likes, reblogs, tags of reblogs, replies, comments, kudos, bookmarks, asks, messages - all of that tells me that I’m not just screaming into a void, that someone can actually hear me and cares about the story I want to tell. and I think it’s me anticipating that that really motivates me when writing.

49) Can you remember the first fic you read? What was it about?

I will never forget the first fic I read and I’m just sad I haven’t been able to find it since. I was twelve years old and was given the science homework of finding out what happens when you put too much sugar in your tea. I decided to search through askjeeves (my generation will know what that is) and I got a lot of hits. around that time, jkr had just released that marauder prequel (back when we thought she was still benign with all her godforsaken additions to hp canon), so when I saw the names remus and sirius, I got excited, thinking it was that. I clicked on it and read my first ever fic, featuring sirius fussing over remus after a transformation and making him tea with too much sugar. and then them making out a bit. 

50) If you could write only angst, fluff or smut for the rest of your writing life, which would it be and why?

angst, because that’s mostly what I write now anyway lol. I don’t think I know the meaning of writing a happy fic.

Do you think your iv’s blindspot gives you many problems: eh, it does make me socially inept but like...I don’t care

there’s also the so-blind issue of never feeling like you “belong” anywhere because you’ve been excluded from social groups too many times during of your childhood. it’s a sore spot i guess but as you get older you learn to get used to it and stop caring about it so much.

What do you like about your type the most and what do you like the least: 

MBTI- I looove Se. so much. and I love the interplay between Ti and Se; makes you a pretty handy person to have around. As for what I dislike: lower Ni is.....a trip. Inferior Fe is...hmm.

Enneagram- like I said above, I like the emotional intelligence and ~~aesthetique~~ of 4. 5 is great because of its inquisitiveness and thirst for knowledge, and I like the high standards my 1 fix gives me. and...we all know Sx/sp is the best variant stack.

That being said, 4 also gives me the tendency to be whiny and arrogant, 5 makes me an Actual hermit (and disintegration to 7 is........hairy), and those same high standards from 1 can sometimes be straight up unreasonable, yet I barely feel the need to change them. Dom Sx is good except for when you lose interest in something and get intensely swept up into your next interest...and then it happens again in a few weeks, and then again....eventually you might return to it but it’s exhausting sometimes.

oh my god, i am 15 minutes into the first hp movie and i am literally feeling so much anger and resentment towards dumbledore.

like 4 minutes in, i ask myself why the fuck harry had to be dumped at the dursleys and nobody made any contact for the next 10 years? i get that he HAD to live there for the protection to work but that doesn’t mean that harry had to grow up without knowing that he was a wizard or that there are people out there who love him or at least care about his wellbeing (i’m looking at hagrid, lupin, dumbledore himself even and SO MANY other people)

BUT NO harry had to grow up isolated and ignorant to the fact that he was worthy of love or being treated like a human being because dumbledore needed a humble, broken boy who grew up in an abusive home and would be ready to risk/give his life to get the approval of the first father figure that popped up. 

dumbledore would rather have harry as a scarred kid that would bend over backwards to please him and die for him than a semi-happy healthy child that has lost his parents and godfather in a single night. and i know that dumbledore didn’t plan on //loving or caring// about harry but none of his actions in the later years were to really protect harry. he didn’t tell him about the prophecy, he kept him in the dark about LITERALLY EVERYTHING important that harry had a right to know and called it love and protection.

dumbledore started this project by being a cold heartless motherfucker and ended it the same way. i’m just so fucking angry that he went ahead and acted like everything he did after year one was to keep harry safe. NO, dude you! you actually never wavered from your original plan of raising him into a pawn that needed to live, act and die in a way that was convenient for you.

OH ALSO dumbledore didn’t want to deal with sirius’ rash nature, so he didn’t even press for an investigation. (it’s as easy as looking into his memories to find out if he was guilty lmao) it suited him that sirius was locked up and couldn’t try to get harry away from those abusive assholes that dumbledore dumped him with. so he didn’t just fuck over harry’s life but also the life of a man who was in his early twenties and could have been so USEFUL to dumbledore. BUT sirius is a person that rarely acts as a pawn, he’s to hardheaded and would have been hard for dumbledore to control. that’s why literal deatheater snape got to go free and get a fucking great job, while sirius got to rot in prison where dementors slowly sucked the life out of him.

and also dumbledore has the fucking audacity to peep into harry’s first conversation with hagrid (but i’m just harry. // i can’t be a wizard) to make sure that his pet project has the right characteristics to die for dumbledore’s cause. hagrid is just another one of the pawns that are easy to control and before starting this post i thought about how hagrid goes back to hogwarts and either relays the whole meeting word for word or straight up hands over his memory of it. (the second probably because dumbledore is a control freak and thinks so highly of himself that he needs to see the whole thing and not just trust /simple/ hagrids word.

i fucking hate this so much. i came here to enjoy the music and the baby faces and now i’m ready to go strangle dumbledore

do you have any tips on websites i can look on for figuring out my characters zodiac signs? (moon, fire, water and those stuff). i dont know where to look and on the sites i found its so complicated :( thank u!!

welllll if you aren’t really familiar with astrology i’d say to just make up a birth time/place for your character and put it in here and then you’ll have your answer. but if you don’t think those results fit your character and you want to make it more personalized, i’d say it’s worth it to firstly research each of the 12 signs a bit so that you gather their general traits and such, and then research about the different planets and houses in your chart (sun, moon, first house which is also rising/ascendant, mars, mercury, venus, etc.) and start trying to piece together what their placements would be. i know when i do this i might research a couple different moon placements or something (i.e. literally just google like ‘aquarius moon’ ‘ cancer moon’ ‘virgo rising’ etc.) and see if it fits. if you need further help, message me off anon!

oMGDF i already know ur chart is spicy, but scorpio/taurus is one of the most interesting sister sign combos to me. it’s one of those ones that have a real connection and usually when two different people respectively have them, they’re attracted to each other (not necessarily romantically, just they might click really well) the fact that your sun and rising oppose (but have that awesome connection) probably makes you initially come off much differently than your actual personality would suggest, and then when someone gets to know you it’s like meeting a whole different person. you probably come off very grounded but stubborn (your scorp sun also might suggest this as well because of all that aggressive mars influence), and i know for me personally i’m often intimidated by taureans so that also might apply. your cap moon probably enforces that as well (freaking earth signs, they’re always so resilient in their own way) i feel like this combo might make you seem really deadpan, maybe appreciate some black humor. and ur probably not afraid to stand up to anybody (*cowers in fear*) u wanted me to drag u but i’m sorry i’m mostly in awe

virgo/sagittarius is such a good match, like it’s weird but whenever i see those two signs together, especially in the form of different people, it’s always like a lasting bond. both virgo and taurus always seem to pair well with sag. you wouldn’t expect a virgo sun to be so ardent but sagittarius has a profound influence, and it’s interesting because virgos are often always looking for answers, and i think sagittarius would only make that need for reason even more so because sags find possibility in everything, especially as a moon placement. it’s one of my favorite moon signs (and not just because i have it too lmao) gemini rising in this mix is also very interesting because sag and gem are sister signs (opposites) (so many sister signs in these questions dang) and gemini rising is almost one of the most fitting rising signs to me for some reaso, especially with a virgo sun (both virgo and gem are ruled by mercury) because that makes you even MORE inquisitive and probably very friendly. people might consider you easy to talk to, and i bet you have a lot of intriguing things to say.

So I saw that you've never watched supernatural and honestly, it's actually better than a lot of ppl say it is. It's definitely not the best show out there, but a lot of people give it shit just because of the fact that it's on the CW. Another thing people complain about is the queerbaiting but I don't think it's that bad tbh

people keep saying emilia (daenerys) can't act but the way she acts in GOT is literally how they want her to... i don't get how people don't understand that :/ look at her background, how she was raised. her character mostly ignores or hides her true emotions. to stay strong as a leader. in the last ep of S7 you can see the writers chose to let her character finally "break" and show her emotions. so i'm pretty sure you don't like dany's character writing, not the acting :P

the whole time reading this i was like “but that’s totally not how her character is?” but then i realized that’s probably how it is in the show. from what you’ve said, she honestly sounds so different from the books lol, and that’s just my main gripe: is that it doesn’t follow the story it was meant to. it’s diverged too much. so i guess you are right, but it’s kind of like comparing apples to oranges at this point when the show is so different. and i’ve only seen one season of this show, the most recent one because i wanted to witness the trainwreck of everything lmao. but i’ve heard a lot of people complain about her acting, which i’m sure is largely the writers’ and directors’ faults of course. but you can’t deny the girl moves her eyebrows too much and relies on that to convey her emotions omg. (she literally didn’t move them at all this season which makes me think they specifically told her not to so ppl would stop making memes of her ridiculous Acting faces)

anyway yeah i hate the writing most of all and i feel bad that the actors have to just deal with it at this point. especially nikolaj coster-waldau who basically shares the same relationship with GoT that robert pattinson did with twilight at this point. it’s so funny

Okay so I've started re-reading A Wolf's Heart (which is definitely my all-time-favorite fic that I've ever read oh my god I love it so much) and I was wondering- amidst tears over the reopened wounds your writing gives me- if you've ever thought about writing A Life Worth Living for real? I genuinely think it sounds amazing and would love to read it if you do decide to write it. Sorry to bother, and thank you for writing! You are seriously (ha) so good!

sorry for the late reply, i’ve been exclusively on mobile for the past few days, and mobile doesn’t let me tag.

so here’s the thing. you’re not the first person to ask me this, which is kind of hilarious to me, bc i actually don’t like “a life worth living.” 

like, i like it for what it is, which is a plot device for “a wolf’s heart,” but you know how in the fic james is like “that sounds shitty” when sirius is explaining the plot to him? that’s kind of me. The Husband and i joke a lot, being like, “lmao, remember that pretentious bullshit you wrote?” and i guess i thought that’s kind of how other people would interpret it too, but evidently not, bc half the comments on that fic are “i looked up ‘a life worth living’ and was so disappointed that it wasn’t a real book!’” which, while super flattering, totally threw me for a loop bc i thought i was being super Extra™.

this is not, by any means, commentary on my readers’ taste. if anything, i trust you guys’ opinion more than my own, bc i have a tendency to be hyper critical of my own work. (plus, both remus and sirius love that book, so how could it be wrong, amirite?)

to that end, and to answer your original question, have i considered actually writing the book? yeah, it’s crossed my mind. i’ve considered writing it and releasing it as a kindle book for like a $1 a copy or something, to fund other projects. 

the problem, though, is that those other projects are already taking precedence. between three wips, a hp podcast, and a million original works i’m working on, idk when i’d get to writing that book. partially bc i’ve only considered that book in what is presented in “a wolf’s heart,” which means all i got is a handful of Extra™ quotes about fate, and a vague summary sirius provides, so i’d have to do a lot of world building and plotting, etc etc etc.

idk, friend, idk. someone asked me once upon a time if i’d care if someone else wrote it, and at the time i was kind of like “ehhhhh, kinda” if only bc i’m super protective and jealous over my creations, even if i don’t actually like them, but the more i think about it, the more i’d i’m like, “you could possibly persuade me, so long as you credit the original source, and, if you make any money off of it, you buy me a burrito.” 

there are options.

anyway, this was way more long-winded than you probably wanted it to be, and who knows if you even are gonna see this since i took so long to reply (sorry again), but it’s something i’ve thought about and a question i get fairly regularly, so i wanted to address it properly. 

regardless! i’m super humbled by the fact that you consider my fic worth a reread, and even more humbled that you think my silly book-within-a-book is worth further exploration. no matter what i end up doing with it, i will always be super appreciative of the people who took the time to validate the fuck out of me. you’re all amazing, wonderful people.
