Hey! Are you still taking prompts? If yes, can you write about r, a librarian that's like a ray of sunshine to everyone at Abbott. But not too much ray of sunshine like Janine and Jacob (more like UV light jk). Then one day, r arrived at Abbott so quiet, not in her usual self,like her sun is heavily clouded. In the break room she's like spacing out, they noticed it and when they asks her if she's alright she would just look at them with a neutral reaction and not talk to anyone,as in anyone much to Melissa's dismay as she tries to make you talk. She misses you talk about your day when she visits you at the library before leaving. Mr. J notices, since r usually gives him a high five when she sees him in the hall way. Even Ava, as she made a joke and everyone laughed but you just gave her a blank stare and leave the break room. They thought r just needs space so they let her be. Then a day of being like that became a week, shutting people down and now the staff are worried, so Melissa decided to finally take the matter in her hands and helps R to finally snap out of the state she's in.

Her Poco Sole (little sunshine)

Warnings: reader trapped in their head but that’s pretty much it.

It’s Friday morning and you walk into Abbott with a smile on your face as always. You’re the librarian at Abbott Elementary and you love it. The kids are great, the staff is amazing, and you’ve never been happier. You see Mr Johnson and as always you raise your hand up for a high five and he happily gives you one.

You arrive in the break room and everyone is already there. You cross the break room to the fridge to put your lunch in there. “Good Morning everyone. Any weekend plans?” You ask everyone as you go to make a coffee.

At that, everyone shares any interesting plans that they have for the weekend. As you finish making your coffee you go to sit at Barb and Melissa’s table like always as Jacob finishes telling his plans and you smile at him as you listened.

“What about you Melissa? Got a hot date? Tv marathon? Seeing family and friends?” You ask her and she looks at you with a smile.

“What makes you think I have a hot date?” She asks.

“A little presumptuous of me then, alright got a normal date then?” You ask her and she snorts.

“You’re such a goof. No date this weekend. Unless you count my couch.” She jokes and you laugh.

“I would think that counts as a date.” You tell her. Then you engage in conversation with Melissa and Barb until the bell rings, and you all get up to start the day.

The day goes by and it’s spent organising and checking out books for kids. At lunch, you head to the breakroom and get your lunch and sit at your regular seat, beside Melissa, and start eating. The rest of the crew comes in a couple minutes later, as well as Ava.

“Hey y/n, I’m going to the club tomorrow tonight, wanna come?” Ava asks.

“Ava, the last time I went with you, you forced me to talk to a girl there and she was straight. So I think I’ll say no.” You tell her with a shake of your head. Ava looks at you and laughs.

“What if I promise that I won’t force you to talk to any girls?” She asks.

“I think I’ll sit this one out Ava, I got big plans to laze around and do nothing.” You tell her.

“You and I got similar plans, we should do it together.” Melissa says and you look at her with a smile.

“You got a date though.” You joke with her and she laughs.

“Hun, I can drop the date with my couch if I wanted, I’m sure it won’t be disappointed.” She says and you roll your eyes.

Lunch ends and you all get up to finish the second part of the day.

At the end of the day, you’re putting a book back in its rightful place when Melissa walks in.

“Hey you.” She says as she walks in.

“Hey yourself.” You reply back to her with a smile.

“How was your day?” She asks.

“It was good.” You then proceed to tell her all about your day. You tell her interesting things that the kids said or did, interesting gossip from teachers and everything else in between. Melissa looks at you the entire time with a smile as she listens. She always loves it when you tell her about your day, you always talk so passionately. “Anyway I’m rambling, how was your day?” You ask her.

Melissa proceeds to tell you all about her day as you both exit the library and you lock up. This is a little routine you both have at the end of the day. You both look forward to it, you tell each other every little thing about your day as you walk to you cars.

Melissa didn’t like you at first, she thought you were too cheerful and happy like Janine is. But she learned that while you are cheerful, it's not annoying like it is with Janine or even Jacob. She learned to love how happy and nice you are with her and everyone else, poco sole she likes to call you, which is little sunshine.

You end up just staying at your place that weekend instead of taking Melissa up on her offer, you sometimes do and you both always enjoy it.

Then Monday morning comes, and you drag your feet in through the doors of Abbott, the usual smile on your face is replaced with a frown. You pass right by Mr Johnson and you don’t offer a high five and he looks at you weirdly.

You enter the break room and you cross over to the fridge to put your lunch and get a coffee. Everyone sees that you don’t have a pep to your step and your usual smile. As you get your coffee ready, you're looking at your phone as Melissa speaks up.

“Hey poco sole, you alright there?” She asks and you look up at her then go back to your phone without answering her. She looks at you confused, as well as everyone else. Once your coffee is done, you pour it in your mug then you sit down at your usual spot. Melissa looks at you as she tried again.

“How was your weekend?” She asks you. You just look at her and shrug. Melissa looks at Barb worriedly. You’re never like this, this isn’t you. Before anyone could say anything else, Ava walks in and she pours some of the coffee in her mug.

“Y/n, there were a lot of cute girls at the club, you missed out, although I would have had you do karaoke.” She says and everyone laughs, they know you’re a bit shy singing in front of a crowd. Everyone laughs except you, you just look at Ava with a blank stare and then get up and leave. You pass by Mr Johnson on your way out and once again, you don’t offer a high five.

“What’s going on with y/n? She doesn’t seem like herself.” Mr Johnson says and everyone looks at Melissa who’s the closest to you.

Melissa doesn’t know, you were fine on Friday, and you two texted on Saturday and Sunday like always and everything seemed fine. “I- I don’t know.” Melissa says and she’s worried about you. She’ll try again at lunch, maybe you’re just not having the best morning, it happens to everyone she thinks.

At lunch your mood didn’t change, in fact it seemed it got worse. You seemed like you were in your own head the entire time, and if anyone talked to you or asked a question, you would just stare at them for a few seconds and go back to what you were doing or just ignore them. Everyone decided that maybe you just need some space as maybe you’re having a rough day but then you’ll be back to your usual smiling self tomorrow.

You were not back to your smiling self tomorrow. You came in again the same way, Mr Johnson sees you and you’re still not smiling and he sighs. Everyone else in the break room stopped what they were doing when you walked in. They all hoped you would be back to yourself again but no. Melissa was getting worried, she went to the library after school yesterday like always and you had already left. She didn’t like seeing you like this, the worst part is you didn’t seem sad, you seemed disconnected, like you aren’t even here. You were supposed to be her poca sole and right now you aren’t, and it broke her heart a little.

Melissa knew she had gotten feelings for you, I mean how can she not when you are how you are. Always smiling when you talk to someone, always listening to people talk with 100% of your attention, and she loves how passionate you are about even the smallest things. You always brought a smile to her face, no matter the mood she was in, and she wanted to do that for you.

At lunch she went to the library when you didn’t show up and when she tried talking to you, you just looked at her with a blank stare and went back to what you were doing. She gave up after several attempts and went to talk to Barb, “maybe she just needs some time Melissa. I’m sure she’ll be back to herself when whatever it is passes” Barb told her. So Melissa did just that. She didn’t talk to you when you sat down, she didn’t go to the library after school, she didn’t text you that she got home safely like always, that usually sparks an hour conversation over text.

And soon, the week goes by and it’s Friday and you’re still not back to yourself. Melissa misses you, she knows that you’re going through something and you’re not telling her, you and her tell each other everything. So she takes matters into her own hands. Friday after school, she goes home and grab’s leftovers from yesterday and then heads to your place.

She knocks on your door and you answer about 30 seconds later. And you have the same look on your face as you have had at school all week. Still she gives you a smile and offers food. And you just stare at her, not talking.

“Can I come in? I can heat this up and we can eat and watch tv.” You just step aside to let her in, Melissa thinks it’s a start, she will literally take anything.

Melissa heats up the leftovers and puts half on a plate for you and half on another plate for herself. She comes to the couch where you already are and she hands it to you with a smile. You take it from here with just a simple “thank you.” Even when you seem disconnected, you will always say thank you, it’s automatic. And again, Melissa will take it. She misses you so much that a simple ‘thank you’ from you makes her happy.

After you both finish eating and the episode of the show you're watching ends, Melissa has had enough. She sets the plates down on your coffee table, turns off the tv and looks over at you. You just stare at her with that blank expression you’ve had all week.

“What’s going on with you y/n? You seem so disconnected that it feels like you’re not even here even though you’re sitting right beside me. And not just today, you’ve been like that all week. You don’t talk to anyone anymore, you don’t come in with your bright smile and uplifting spirit. Mr Johnson says you don’t give him high fives anymore and you don’t laugh at Ava’s jokes like you usually do. And you know what? I miss you, I miss when you come in with that beautiful smile and ask me anything, our conversations at lunch , and especially our chats after school when I come and visit you in the library. And I also miss our little texting chats after school and on the weekend I miss hanging out with you or texting you.” She finishes and when she looks at you , you’re still just looking at her with that blank stare, the only difference is that you keep looking down at your hands.

And that makes Melissa break, she starts crying. You don’t know what to do, you’re not yourself right now but to your core you’re still her poco sole. You put one of your hands in hers and then you just continue to stare at nothing in front of you, still holding her hand.

Melissa is surprised when you hold her hand and it makes her stop mid sob and she sniffs. She realises that you’re still there but maybe trapped in your own mind. She’s heard about people that have done that , and they said that they just woke up unhappy about anything for no real reason and they detach themselves from reality. She remembers that a shock helped them, something that broke them out and snapped them back to reality, something real. So Melissa does the first thing she thinks of, she reaches over , pulls you to her and embraces you in a tight hug. “Please come back to me y/n, please.” Melissa begs while still hugging you.

And then she feels arms wrap around her, hugging her back. She pulls back to look at you and you have the smallest little smile she’s ever seen and your eyes aren’t blank. “Y/n?” Is all she says.

You look at her. “Hi Melissa.” You say. And she covers her mouth in shock and happy tears start rolling down her face. You’re coming back to her. She gets so excited that she leans over and kisses you on the lips and you freeze for a second, you pull her more to you when she goes to pull away and you kiss her back. And Melissa melts into the kiss, she’s been missing you all week and kept her feelings to herself about you for about 4 months. And while she’s happy this is happening, she wants to make sure she truly has you back. She pulls back and looks into your eyes, and she sees the familiar light behind them you always had and she smiles at you. “You came back to me.” She says and for the first time in a week, you smile at her, your usual genuine smile. “Are you ok?” She asks you suddenly.

“I think I am now. I didn't know what was going on, I woke up and suddenly felt nothing, I didn’t feel anything and it scared me but it didn’t stop so I guess I hid in my own mind, tried to find something, feel something. And then I saw you crying and a spark came, a spark of sadness and so I held your hand, and then you hugged me and my whole body

felt happiness again. The kiss was a nice add on. You tell her and she looks at you smiling, she’s glad to have her poco sole back.

Monday morning, you walk in the entrance with a smile and your usual pep to your step is back. You see Mr Johnson and he looks up and sees you smiling. You then raise your hand for a high five and he excitedly gives you one, happy that your back.

You walk into the break room and everyone is either on their phones or talking to each other, Melissa sees you though and she smiles at you, and you smile at her. You walk over to the fridge “hey everyone, did you have a nice weekend?” You ask and everyone looks up at you and sees you smile as you pour some coffee in your mug. And everyone smiles at you.

“Y/N! You’re back!” Jacob says and you nod as he runs over and gives you a hug. “We were worried about you!” He says

“Ik, I hope I didn’t freak you out too much.” You joke as you sit in your usual seat. You look a Barb who gives you a smile with a “welcome back sweetheart.”.

Melissa is still looking at you with a smile. She then tucks a lock of hair behind your ear and you smile at her. Everyone sees the interaction and smiles then goes back to what they were doing.

Melissa doesn’t care if they know, all that she cares about is that you came back to her, her poco sole.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?) Harper is super affectionate! He shows it though physical contact (if you're ok with it), acts of service, and some light teasing

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?) Absolute gremlin. Playfull bullying. Throwing rocks at your window at 2am to come out and join him for some questionable shinanigans. He's all about being an absolute goof and having a good time. Though if you ever need anything he'd insist you don't hesitate to come to him, he'll help out a buddy however he can (Whether by legal means or not :) )

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?) Harper fucking LOVES to cuddle. He'll wrap his long ol arms around you and hold you as close as he can without hurting you. Nuzzling his face into your hair with the biggest, goofiest grin… Good luck getting away from him any time soon :)

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?) He likes the idea of having a family some day, but he won't raise a fuss or anything if you're not for that! He's an excellent cook since its one of his main hobbies, and he likes to keep things fairly tidy… He isn't very diligent about laundry though… putting it away neatly anyway, he more often than not has a pile of unfolded clean laundry frequently being transfered between his computer chair and his bed. He does keep the dirty ones in the hamper though

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?) HAHAHAH Break up? HHAHAHAHA Thats funny :)))))))))))

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?) Harper already ready to get down on one knee the moment he gets you to like him back… fuck he's prolly ready before even that

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?) He can be very gentle if thats what you prefer! He's a big guy but he knows how to be careful. Soft tender hugs, holding your hand in his, gentle kisses to the cheek. As far as emotionally, with you he's more than happy to open up and let you know just how much he adores you, going on and on about every little thing about you that makes him smile

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?) He loves hugs! He'll take em any time he can get em. Hugging you close while cuddling… Hugging you from behind while you're working on something… Man could just be looking at you for a few seconds and he's just filled with the urge to wrap his arms around you~

L = Little ones (How are they around children?) Harper is pretty ok around kids, he def tolorates them better than he does older people, especially if they match his goofy gremlin energy. He's very much one to egg them on to be mischevious and if they're all going gremlin mode you'll 100% catch him playing and messing around with them, letting them hang off his arms, giving them piggy back rides, playing video games with them, ect. He'd also be very protective of em. He def has a soft spot for kids… And if they were his own then even more so

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?) Harper isn't the most early of risers, he's a lil slow to wake up and usually goes through 2 whole ass pots of coffee before he's even functioning, then even more throughout the day He also takes a little bit of time to get ready in the morning just tending to his teeth alone, he has a whole routine for them that takes up half an hour. And expect to be spending at least another half hour even before that just trying to convince him to let you go so you can get out of bed

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?) If its not a date night or anything then usually chilling together, watching movies, playing games, doing whatever fun little activities you guys can come up with. Though he'd love to take you out frequently for nights on the town, shopping and taking you to nice resturants and events. He wants to spoil you day and night but he also knows the importance of down time uvu

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?) He'll start slow, trying to get you to warm up to him. But once you're official he'll gradually open up more and more… Though there are some things he'd rather you never find out :)))

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?) At you? Rarely if ever. At everyone else? They're on thin ice just being in the same room as him… and even more so the same room as you :)))

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?) Harper memorizes everything he can about you. Every little bit of information he can get his grubby, oversized hands on he's already commited to memory and he knows more about you than even some of your closest friends thanks to all that good ol fashioned stalking he been doing uvu

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?) When you both first reached the camp and he realized now he'd be able to openly interact with you without you easily being able to get away uvu

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?) Mega protective, the minute Harper even thinks something or someone is a danger to you he's immediately putting that big ol body of his between you and whoever/whatever it is. And if you were ever hurt? Whoever is responsible is going to be finding their subscription to breathing being cancelled real soon

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?) Oh the man is going all out on special events like those if you let him… Fancy dates, taking you to your favorite places, making you the absolute BEST food if not taking you out to wherever you wanted to eat. He'd make sure every date, anniversary, special event with him is one you'll never forget0 As for chores, he doesn't mind doin em, especially things like cooking :)

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?) He doesn't bother with small things like matching his socks. And he has a bad habit of picking at his fingertips especially when he's nervous

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?) Harper likes looking cleaned up but other than that his style and vibe is pretty chill. Not like grungy or anything but also not super fancy… I guess just slightly above average attention to it?

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?) Very much so, he wouldn't be able to bring himself to function much past taking care of his Nonna, and when she's gone he'd pretty much just… give up

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.) He makes random noises when he's bored or focusing on something, half the time he doesn't even realize he's doign it. But sometimes he'll just look at you, freeze for a few seconds, and then make some silly noise before giving you a goofy laugh

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?) He hates avacados. He also doesn't like things being super messy/dirty

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?) He talks in his sleep sometimes… Sometimes its just random gibberish, others you could hold full, if not very strange, convorsations with him while he's sleeping

Any thoughts on Light’s relationship with his mom/sister since we don’t see them interact as much? Or just cute Yagami family headcanons in general because I like to pretend they’re all still happy :’)

Aww yeah I think I have a few...

-I think Light naturally takes after his mom more than his dad, and that he probably looks and acts like her side of the family more. At his age she was probably very smart and pretty, and maybe even a bit sly and secretive and sassy as a teenager herself

-I think it was Sachiko's idea to name him Light, and that she put a ton of thought into his name and took some flak from the extended family for it because it was quite unusual, but she stuck to her guns

-I think Light genuinely feels very protective of Sayu and his mom, though he tries not to overtly reveal this to them a lot (as he's not the most demonstrative guy with his affections to anybody most times)

-I think Light and Sayu played a lot of Nintendo together growing up. And one of Sayu's favourite childhood things was wedging herself behind him in the computer chair when they got their first computer and watching him play games on there, too (Light was always keen to patiently explain his strategies to her as he went)

-I think Sayu was one of the only people Light actually felt close to and goofed around with a lot, since he always kept a bit of a polite distance with his school friends

-When Sayu was born Light wasn't the type to throw a fit about not being the baby anymore, but actually very excited to have a sibling, and took to being a big brother right away

-Sayu's crush on Hideki Ryuga means that Light has gotten way too familiar with his music by hearing it so much around the house. Light will often absent-mindedly start singing and humming his biggest hits to himself when he's working or studying, and then get annoyed with himself when he catches himself in the act (and Sayu will also tease him mercilessly about it if she does)

If we did get foot solider Mikey like we deserve what would be the whole plot exactly of it? because the premise is how Mikey feels like a failure and that his brothers don't understand him and that he feels alone how would that be excuted exactly because 1. this adds more layers to Mikey that aren't ever really utilized and 2 Raph and Leo are a big problem in this scenario because they would just blame each other throughout the whole process along with trying to get Mikey back while arguing which would upset him even more since neither can own up to their mistakes and than Donnie has to figure out how to stop everything the fighting the convincing Mikey.

ooh okay! this is just me coming up with an idea on the fly so bare with me.

so imagine the movie opens up not long since the events of the last movie. they’re moving past the whole winters situation and starting to work more as a team, notably leo and raph who are getting along again and donnie is less stressed and it takes off SUCH a huge weight off mikey’s mind because of course he was constantly worrying about whether his family would heal itself again and here they are! happy together. and then comes along that good ol’ turtle luck.

idk how shredder comes back. it’s not really ever established in the first movie, or maybe i cant remember if he died? or disappeared. but imagine he comes back. some freaky magic (either on purpose or on accident by karai depending on whether you want her to be REALLY bad after her truce in the first movie lol) and suddenly they have shredder back on their tails.

the attack comes so out of left field - imagine they’re just goofing off on a roof with a hosepipe (iykyk) and then BAM leo goes down and raph is yelling his name and there’s panic.

they’ve trained for this, but the attack catches them off guard. they’re not prepared and since they’re still finding their footing as a team again, the foot are able to get the underhand.

mikey is calling out attack ideas but leo, in a panic, isn’t taking on board of what he’s saying. neither is raph and nor is donnie, too focused on the foot, each of the brothers don’t pay much attention to what mikey is suggesting. mikey, growing fustrated as he believes his idea would work, doesn’t get a chance to play any of his plans out after he’s knocked off the roof.

the brothers try and catch him but fail, letting their brother plummet to the street below. before they can go down and get him, the shredder appears (maybe in a crack of lightning lol very dramatic) and leo is like “you????”

they fight with the shredder for a bit, leo barking out orders for one of them to slip away and go grab mike but whenever one of them tries to leave the rooftop, it’s futile, they’re stopped by the foot; made to fight and unable to reach their brother to see if he’s alright.

then, just as fast as they appeared, the foot and shredder disappear. leo thinks it’s odd, but now that the foot are out of the way, they’re rushing down to make sure mikey is alright only to realise… he’s gone.

mask, nunchucks and cell phone (for the purpose of donnie not being able to track him) all left behind, it slowly dawns on them what’s happened.

it then switches perspectives of mikey who’s slowly waking up in some cage. unsure of where he is, we see Karai stroll in, looking torn.

she tells mikey something along the lines of “i didn’t want it to have to be this way but you must understand my loyalty to the foot comes before whatever promise i made to you.”

mikey is confused like “who even are you lady? where am I?”

and karai, realising what’s happened reports back to shredder like “uh yeah he’s lost his memory i think” and shredder is like “okay. change of plans”

(he originally kidnapped one of the turtles to draw the rest of them + splinter to him but now he’s having Evil Thoughts)

so he goes to mikey like “um yes you’re a sad lonely mutant. your family didn’t want you, i saved you”

mikey tries to remember but can only recollect the last hazy memories where his brothers weren’t listening to him so he’s like “it must be true?”

ANYWAY the boys are panicking because they need to get to mikey and they’re sure it’s a trap but they don’t care cos they beat shredder before, they’ll do it again but they’re pretty taken aback when they realise getting into foot hq isn’t as easy as they though if shredder was just trying to lure them in. so like. what is his plan with mikey?

meanwhile shredder is training mike with a new pair of chucks, a black mask, he’s feeding him lies about how his family had no faith in him or wanted him in their team. mikey distresses that even if it’s true, he doesn’t want to harm anyone.

and shredder is like “oh yeah no we’re not about that here. we have honour”

meanwhile karai is unsure whether it’s a good idea what he’s doing or not. of course she’s part of the foot but in the shredders absence she was shaping it into something else and so she confronts shredder and this pisses him off and so he starts Plotting.

meanwhile the boys and splinter are making plans to get mikey back and so they sneak in to the foot hq one night, and shredder can see right through their plan but he lets them in (to which again leo is like. this is too easy something is wrong)

it’s then that shredder kills Karai (sorry karai) and shredder alerts mikey like “look what they did!! these monsters have no honor killing my Karai in her sleep like this! we have to avenge her!!”

and mikey doesn’t want to have to kill but he believes in putting his family first so he vows to avenger his “sister”.

so he goes up against leo raph and don who all are trying to get him to snap out of it once they realise what’s happening but mikey has already been warned by shredder that they might pull those kinds of tricks to get him to go with them.

basically they fight and whatever and it goes back and forth between them all, and eventually we have another rainy rooftop scene because they’re my favourite and it’s down to leo and mikey now and mikey is like “you don’t want me! shredder appreciates me!” and leo is like “he doesn’t he’s just USING you!!” mikey is torn and confused because he’s pretty sure his memories are slowly coming back.

leo apologies to mikey for not listening to him before. he apologises for putting him in danger and for the whole situation so far and then so do raph and donnie from where they’re sprawled out from where mike kicked their asses lol

and then just as mikey is about to switch sides, shredder comes out of nowhere and smacks him across the roof and leo is PISSED

all three brothers go back against shredder and they’re failing when suddenly mikey gets back up, the knock on his head giving him his memories back (because movie logic) and this time when he gives his directions and plans, they listen and execute it and they’re able to beat shredder :3

UH yeah that’s it. they go home and eat pizza and give their brother a big fat hug and it’s very happy and nothing bad ever happens to them again.

i literally made this up as a i went along so it’s missing characters and not that good but that’s just personally the kind of thing i’d like to see. idk lemme know your thoughts :)

One question I would like to ask: [How do the turtle tots see their papa? (Part 1, because I can't put everything in here)] Do they idolize him as their hero, or as just their jolly turtle dad? You said the kids do end up learning ninjutsu. Dis they discover this by chance and wanted to learn, or did Mikey realized by himself it was a good idea to teach them? Did their perception of their father change because of it? And do they think Mikey it's a good sensei?

They adore their dad and love him very much!

They do idolize him, but just as a loving parent figure. After all, they can't truly envision the silly turtle that sings while cooking their meals in the hero light and they get truly flabbergasted each time Mikey tells them stories of his brothers and their adventures because they always forget their dad also lived them (Will get back to this in a bit, following the order of your ask ;] ).

The kids do know ninjutsu! They are all in completely different levels of it though.

Mikey wanted them to be able to defend themselves in case they ever got themselves in dangerous situations but he never does force them to practice into it more if they don't wish to. Uno and Moja are the ones who get into more advanced training from Mikey when older and they spar with each other and with Mikey constantly (Uno is the one who thought it would be cool of him to get better at ninjutsu, to be like his uncles, and Moja decided to get more training as well only because she didn't want Uno to get a big head about it, she always humbles him if needed be). Yi knows the basic of self defense and only uses her training from time to time just to burn off energy, Odyn trains with her on these occasions. Odyn does Not enjoy training much but he does know the basics of self defense and likes spending time with his siblings to goof around in training.

They do start training ninjutsu because of Mikey talking more about his brothers, Uno was the one who brought the idea of them learning in the first place. When teaching them Mikey always explains that what he's teaching them can harm others and for them to be responsible with it, he just wants them to be safe and to take care of each other. That last thought is something that stays with the kids forever. The kids are brought up in a loving and safe space so Mikey never truly has doubts if teaching them was a bad idea because the kids actually see training as a sort of way where they can burn off excessive energy to have fun and not as something they need to Not Die. The only problem Mikey sometimes has is when they get hurt during training (sprained limbs, moja hitting Uno a bit too hard without meaning to).

The kids perception of Mikey never truly changes from their loving papa, even after learning everything he went through, because they understand where he is coming from (a literal war, being a child soldier, losing his entire family). They love him the same.

The fact that they feel somewhat disconnected from the Mikey of their dad's stories and anecdotes is somewhat of a factor as well. They can't help to just feel like those are completely different lives of someone they know and love because, even after so much tragedy, they look at Mikey and he seems in so much peace now. They are happy for him And are there for him.

Mikey is the best sensei! He makes the trainings fun and actually enjoyable! They love their papa sensei.

The photo April found of Mikey and his brothers has been on their shrine at their home ever since the kids can remember. Since that (April sending Mikey the photo) happened when the kids were fairly small they can't truly remember when it happened BUT babies do sense and react to their parents emotional cues so the kids definitely started crying alongside Mikey as soon as they saw him crying (Mikey had the first ever turtle pile with the babies that day, it was nice). After this Mikey started to cry easily again as he did when younger so the kids are actually used to their dad being an emotional crier (any strong emotion) and hugger/smoocher in general since they grew up with him :'], Odyn is an emotional crier too! just like their dad!

The kids did not know of the way Mikey's brothers died until they were much older and emotionally stable. They grew up with stories of their uncles (visiting Donatello's grave specifically, playing heroes and using their family as characters) and they knew that they had passed on but they only learnt of how they died and the whole backstory (being raised as child soldiers, THE WAR, the way they got murdered, Mikey's solitude time just going around killing bad guys) until they were much older. As one would learn the whole family lore when adult.

Mikey was open about their family story because the kids are family too after all.

When learning all of it the kids were definitely shocked but, again, the view of their loving father didn't actually change in their perception. Yi and Odyn were just So Sad about how tragic the story of their family is. Not surprisingly, Moja and Uno were the ones truly angry at an outside force (the whole foot thing) completely destroying their family in a generational war but there's nothing they can do except be angry for a bit, after all by this time Casey Marie and April have won back New York alongside the revolution, Hiroto is long dead and the generational war is no more. They all cry together and have a turtle pile again that day :']

The kids know there's no more revenge to be had, and that every second they are alive living a happy life with their family is like saying "fuck you. I Win" to the generational war thing and that their uncles would be so happy to know that they grew up safe and in a loving manner.

IM REALLY SAD THIS ONE DIDN'T GET IN. I even drew asriel shutting flowey in a box for this joke to work. There was going to be a visual gag of it being a "soap" box. Haha.

Asgore was originally going to tell Asriel to think of something nice to get his mind off of his panic attack.

Which, while funny, took away the feeling of intense panic the audience and asriel should have been feeling at the time. It just didn't fit the pacing/mood. It also showed that -well, i don't know if this is a legitimate grounding technique or if it'd be read as "its ok just think happy thoughts <3 then ur panic attack would end" which... is not.... how that works. Even if it was only to give Asriel a moment of respite, it's shown as effective until Asgore brings up a bad memory. So. bad comic sequence.

I had a really, really hard time balancing the tone of the scene that is currently happening in the redraw. it's why i'm so behind in my drawings, so i'm only now sketching the next couple month's updates.

This chapter has gone through SO MANY changes. I feel that comes with it being the first chapter to completely diverge from the original tumblr version.

Asriel was originally going to have a very on-the-nose nightmare about Flowey feeling excluded from the family and fearing drowning. Now, the whole darkness/water metaphor for suicidal depression will be introduced when that stuff starts to come into play in chapter 4...

i mean, just to really hammer home how much i had to delete for this: i actually did sketch out the original tumblr version here. I had it all ready before chapter 2 began posting. But as I was finishing the color for the warship section I realized, shoot, I don't wanna repeat it.

When I first made the tumblr version, i was getting burnt out and the characters just became so much... meaner? rude? to each other. some bickering or annoyance is fine but I have a bad habit of going overboard. That's something I hope to correct in the rewrite -and focus more on less drama and more wholesome/loving moments.

Even tho I was mostly keeping chapter the same the first time I sketched it for the redraw, I added this scene. The idea was that when the house was on fire, Frisk would of ran off to the right of the house to where you can see Old Home.

There, even tho Frisk can't verbally talk, the two have a nice heart-to-heart. Chara remember Frisk has [spoilers] issues. Chara was going to own up to their bad behavior.

Now well, hm. Chara's got a lot of shit going on. Frisk of course has forgiven them (like they do for everyone in the underground -_- oh frisk...) and it's going to be something that's addressed down the road. for now, they've held hands, and shown solidarity for each other. As kids, they're going to goof around and be buddies and not let the cruddy stuff chara did earlier matter. things are so much less of a big deal when you're a kid.

It depends on if it's their earlier days Pre-Kyojuro's death or post. If it is before his death, Senjuro's favorite thing was to spend his time watching you train, eat, and goof off with him and/or his big brother. His favorite thing is your smile. If it is post Mugen Train Arc... His favorite thing is you playing along with his delusions. Aka, call him Kyojuro, tell him you're proud that he gave up on being a Demon Slayer so he could spend time with his wife and father. Never ever ever bring up the reality that he isn't Kyojuro and Kyojuro is dead, Ever.

Angelite- how calm is the yandere and what aggravates them?

Senjuro is a worshiper type yandere and very calm due to this.

However, after Kyojuro Dies he spirls down into a slew of delusions. He changes from your calm and very manageable yandere to an overly protective and possessive yandere solely due to his delusions. As everyone is trying to yank him from his created happy world.

In this happy little fantasy world he created. He is Kyojuro, and he fell in love with his tsugoku Y/N. However after realizing that while they're in the Demon Slayer Corp they couldn't be together the two of them decided to retire early get married and begin there own family while watching over his alcoholic father. Where is Senjuro in his own little delusions? Good question! Bringing up Senjuro usually will cause him to spiral into aggression and confusion.

Aventurine- does the yandere's plans run smoothly or are there obstacles that get in the way?

Hahaha hahaha yeah no. His entire plan was completely uprooted and completely altered/removed once Kyojuro died. His whole plan was to watch from the side-lines as his brother, whom he put on this god level pedestal, marry and have children with a woman he also put on that same level of pedestal. So once his brother died, his psych was afraid of losing two gods instead of just one. It began with him being consciously aware that he wasn't actually Kyojuro and only acting like him to keep you from leaving him. But it delved deeper. Until where it is now...

Black Tourmaline- does the yandere want to protect darling or harm them?

Senjuro wants more than anything to protect you but he knows he isn't going to be able to with him not being able to do Flame Breathing nor wield a sword like his brother could. 'Kyojuro' is the same wanting to protect you from everything in the world. But the difference is that 'Kyojuro' is strong enough to do so. [How is this possible physically? Well it was inside him all along. The real Kyojuro would almost be proud.] 'Kyojuro' isn't above corporal punishments. Keep bring up Senjuro or keep trying to pull him from his delusions and expect to be bent over his lap and spanked with his belt.

Blue Lace Agate- how truthful is the yandere?

To a man who doesn't even know where the real world begins and his fantasies end I don't know if he is able to be truthful. Simply because he doesn't know what is truthful. However 'Kyojuro' will always tell you how he feels about every little microscopic thing. The scary bits of his identity crisis is that he swears up and down to having memories he physically can't have [because the didnt exist]. Such as remembering when his mother went through Kankagari and she had problems with bloody noeses.

Carnelian- how does the yandere deal with their darlings strong will?

Which ones is stronger his delusions or her will? If it's the later he might not know what to do and go to his father for advice. Who honestly has no idea what his son is talking about and blow him off. He might try to reach out to the 'other' Hashira's for advice but none of them humor the crazy ramblings of the young man. After no one offering him advice he might whip out his hidden trump card drugs. When 'Kyojuro' was Senjuro he took care of any wounds his brother would get as well as taking care of his own. He also took multiple months of Kakushi/EMT training courses. In a drugged out state Y/N definitely won't put up as much of a fight about 'Kyojuro''s presence.

Charoite- how does the yandere learn more about darling?

Senjuro just asks. "Y/N, I am going to begin cooking lunch for you and brother what is your favorite foods?" "Hey, Y/N, What Is your favorite color? I'm just curious is all... no reason!" "Y/N-san, do you have any siblings? I'm just curious I'm sorry!"

The worst part of it is that before Kyojuro's Death he was very blind to his brothers strangeness/noesiness. "Senjuro is annoying you with questions you say? I apologize my brother is a naturally curious boy I'm sure he ment no harm."

How does 'Kyojuro' know so much about you? "A husband should know his wife like the back of his hand." Honsetly he doesn't even know...

Chrysoprase- how does the yandere deal with heartbreak?

He is delusional! De-lu-sion-allll!!! You can't reject him because your rejection won't sink in, and he will probably spank you for attempts to reject his reality. "A wife shouldn't speak like that to her husband." If you run away from him... he'll blanket burrito and scream for hours until his vocal cords are destroyed. Then he'll hit the bottle... but he is doinging because in his delusional reality, you were killed by a demon... he would say he is ashamed he a former Hashira allowed a Demon to take his darling wife from him. So no, he isn't going back to being Senjuro just because you're gone... if he saw you after he had already come to the conclusion you were dead. He would just start screaming and holding his head as he was trying to contemplate how this would have happened. He would either come to the conclusion that you are a ghost and he had to join you in the afterlife. Or the conclusion that you are a Demon, he would report it to the Slayer Corps, then commit Seppuku because as a hashira, he let his wife become a demon. who wouldn't even come out to investigate because they see Senjuro as the boy who cried wolf. If you got sick and died... and he watched you die he would just like the other scenario to become an alcoholic. If you two have children... you might notice that he is reliving his life through his son...

Her Obedience. Her Love. Her Loyalty. Her Devotion. Her Smile.

Emerald- how does the yandere show their love?

His love language is physical affection and verbal affection. He also is big into gift giving but he doesn't have the former Hashira pension that his father has or brother would have. He doesn't really question why he doesn't have the money he thinks he should have because he assumes that due to his early retirement dequalified him for it.

Garnet- what is the yandere's ideal future with darling?

He wants the American Dream. He believes he is a retired hero who deserves an obedience and beautiful loving wife and two children.

So... don't judge him, but... when Kyojuro first died, Senjuro began eating and feeding you his ashes... also, the gem in your wedding ring is actually him.... oh, and that glass Olisbos he uses on you when you're being sexually punished. Yeah, that's actually.... /he even made a tasteless joke about it. While spanking you he puts the Olisbos in your womanhood while saying, "No no no y/n Kyojuro isn't gone. Actually he's closer to you than he's ever been."

Opal- what makes the yandere tick?

Calling him Senjuro. Telling him he isn't Kyojuro. That Kyojuro is gone. You don't love him. He'd get angry and spank you.

Senjuro is a worshiper. But 'Kyojuro' wants to be praised not worshipped. But like head pats and snuggles. He wants you to thank him for giving up his position as Hashira to br with you.

Absolutely! At least Two. Would upsettedly settle with one but wants two or more. As for force... that's complicated. Because it is the 1912/1920's. Also he is naming his son Senjuro. No matter if you give birth to a Male or a Female...

gonna infodump about the lawmane kids now!!

So, I decided that there are 3 kids living, and one deceased. they all have Misa’s last name, and their names are [in birth order] Saeko Amane, Keiko Amane, and Loe Amane. Mind you, they’re all teenagers.

Saeko and Keiko are twins, born like an hour apart.

Saeko is the eldest Amane child, and he is also the one he resembles his father the most. He has a similar facial structure to his father, as well as his father’s pale complexion and black hair. He has his mother’s blue eyes, and his dress style is more similar to his mother’s rather than his father’s. He was born deaf, but he has hearing aids now. He knows sign language as well. He’s definitely the smartest of the Amane children, and he spends the majority of his time goofing off rather than doing schoolwork. It comes natural to him anyway, so he doesn’t need to study. Another trait he received from his father is that same protective nature, he’s very protective over his family. He also looks up to his father a lot, and he wants to work in forensics when he’s older.

Keiko is the second eldest, again only younger than Saeko by a little less than an hour. She’s trans [MtF] and her family is very accepting. She’s a little less bright, more similar to Misa in terms of intellect, but L and Saeko are very willing to tutor her. She’s very androgynous looking, with chin length blonde hair and blue eyes. She has a more alt-ish dress style, regularly wearing band tees and stuff like that. She’s also freckly and actually really pretty [🤭], but if you tell her she won’t believe you. Her relationship with Loe is much better than her relationship with Saeko. Keiko aims to be a lyricist when she’s older.

Loe is the youngest kid, and the one who resembles Misa the most closely. Pretty, popular, and preppy. She’s alright in terms of smarts and intellect, and she definitely resembles Misa more than L in terms of intellect. She’s a bit mean, and very intimidating, she just can’t communicate very well. She has a better relationship with her mother than her father [and so do her siblings]. She really likes toxicology and is probably secretly raising Foxglove in her room. She has a pretty singing voice, and she’s a nice actress as well, so she would make BANK a model like Misa, but she’s just more interested in studying toxicology. She’s probably one of those high school “mean girls”, well, she’s perceived as one, but she isn’t really one. She has a better relationship with Keiko than Saeko, the reason being that both Keiko and Loe envy Saeko and feel that their parents favor Saeko.

L is also a bit of a crappy father, sorry. He’s just at work all the time and never around to spend time with his wife and kids. But, on the occasion that he does get a break, he makes SURE to make it up to them. His does favor Saeko internally, but he feels horrible about it and he tries not to let it show. He just always wanted a kid that was just like him, and Saeko was like that for him.

Also, for the aforementioned deceased Amane child, there was one kid that ending up dying either when they were a few months old or due to Misa having a miscarriage. I haven’t decided on their name or the circumstances of their death yet, but it’s big angst fuel because “G--d-mnit, L, why couldn’t you have been home when it happened?!”

I just really need to write a fic in the Happily Ever After AU where Misa and L get married and have these kids. It would be quite cute, actually. If you have any ideas for these kids, tell me!!

i’m so glad that you acknowledged that L wouldn’t be a good parent because he 100% would NOT be. he dedicates so much time to his work and barely even gave thought to his successors, so he’d probably prioritize cases and work over everything else. however, he’d still try and make it up to them, you’re right.

i’ve always headcanoned misa as having her whole life planned out since she was a little girl. she had her wedding planned, her kids’ names, her job, her husband, everything. so when it comes to the miscarriage and all of the little imperfections in her family, she kind of struggles with not being able to live a perfect happily ever after like she wanted, but it’s as close as she’s getting.

i immediately took an interest in L and saeko’s dynamic. L having a mini-him running around would give him some sense of pride, although a bit uncanny at first *cough cough* beyond. saeko's super perceptive, so he definitely notices his dad's subtle favoritism and tries to shift his dad's favor to his siblings, which barely works. he'd probably feel some guilt over being, essentially, the only child his dad really gave a second thought in his eyes. you and i both know that would 100% not be L's intention, but it would come off that way to the kids.

i don't have much to say about keiko and loe imma be honest. they seem like they'd be pretty close, like you mentioned. i can imagine misa taking them out shopping and/or going out to places while L watched over saeko.

Ok but I LOVE your monarch Yuu! It's honesty a really fun idea, especially since Yuu keeps on forgetting that they're a monarch now.

I feel like their servants notice Yuu's habits of saving money and maybe decide to ask them about it? I feel like they all would feel really bad about how Yuu used to live, so maybe they try and get them a small gift or something?

I feel like Yuu would also have a really bad habit of always helping put with all the chores, like... They'd constantly help with cleaning and such, so the servants would always try to remind them that they're a monarch now, which Yuu immedietly shoots down because they still want to help.

(they also probably have a habit of barely sleeping and such, much to the dislike of everyone else)

I feel like Yuu would also be sometimes acting silly or childish even, like... Them doing some silly jokes and harmless pranks while being in a giddy mood.

Yeah the servents see Yuu doing all of the money saving tips they found out about or got from some one ex Ruggie and Jamil.

The servant's were so surprised that a royal would touch cleaning supplies or that Yuu was acting so nice to them. There when asked why they were so nice and Yuu just responded with "I know what's it like working for someone in power who dosen't treat you right." Crowley sneezed in his office. But yeah Yuu always treats everyone with respect no matter where they came from.

Yuu: *trying to help clean the dishes* I got them!

Cook: *pushing them out the kitchen* go rest ya majesty.

Yuu: no.

Cook: *signs and calls up ADeuce who draws Yuu to bed after a big meeting happened*

Yuu gets into those "Nice battles" where they are always helping but the servant's retaliate by making Yuu go do small tasks that distract them for the servant's to get all the chores done.

Yuu also gives the servant's pats on the head and words of appreciation when they do something for them. Everyone fights for the head pats bc who wouldn't want a Monarch praising you?

Also:

Yuu: *who haven't slept in a week bc of all the royal meetings.* I....m....o....k.

Servents: *dragging Yuu to their bed and forcing them to sleep* sleep.

Some of the cooks even spike the drinks or food with melatonin or something to knock out Yuu for a bit. Yuu has a personal Kitchen in their big room bc they foot tried of walking down all the stairs since they are so big.

Also when they go to meetings they act more mature then half of the Kings and Queens. They have the most respect out of everyone. Even the elder monarchs give nods of approval. They sometimes see Malleus or Leona and hang out with them.

When Yuu holds Balls and such they have Vil as their tailor and person to make all the preparations of the Ball since Vil loves that type of stuff and let Kalim come to give idea's. Trey's family bakery got a bit boost in market because of Yuu always going there and gushing about the treats to other Kings and Queens.

Yuu does play pranks on the other Monarchs when they're bored in a meeting since who's gonna do soemthign and also they like it since most of the had to act 20 when they were barley 18 taking over big countries.

Riddle is one of their advisors, along with Jamil, Kalim is there at the palace most of the time goofing around with Yuu. Grim is always having a nap since he finally dosen't have to struggle with his henchman anymore.

Yuu even made the poorer parts of different kingdoms better since Ruggie told them about the slums he grew up in. Ruggie's was the first one they fixed. Ruggie generally cried and hugged them for giving his grandma and the kids a good home.

They even united most of the kingdoms that hated eachother. Yuu even stopped wars from happening.

But I imagine there would be one kingdom that wouldn't see them as the all kind ruler they are and declare war on Yuu. They agreed but didn't do anything to hurt their kingdom and the people of the kingdom relateated their ruler because the all kind Monarch didn't even lifted a finger at them and even made their slums better and made some orphanages for the kids on the street.

But in all Yuu is seen as a kind and respectable ruler that dosen't see anyone different. No matter if they are human, beastmen, merepeople or even monster. Yuu sees everyone as a equal as them since they were treated as an outsider when they were at NRC. They would never wish that upon anyone.

Yuu still keeps left overs in containers to eat for later or gives it too the orphanages or the slums since they don't want the food tog o to waste.

Yuu, when they revised they were finally safe and secured with out needing to live off of scraps and checks from Sam's shop they sobbed on their throne as it happened at a banquet.

All their feeds panicked thinking something happened but no it just made Yuu realized they were safe. And they began to sob even harder and it was a bitter sweet moment for everyone when Yuu was struggling to meet ends meet at NRC.

so it goes like this: when you touch somebody, their mark appears in your palm. there's several placements you can have, like for family bonds (mother's will generally always be the first bond a person has), friendship, love, probably hatred idk

over time, when a person dies or the bond fades, the mark scars, becoming the abstract background for new relationships you make

so Matt n Gil are pretty much immortal in canon. not so much Gil anymore, but he's been around a long time, so his palms are probably scared to fuck with marks —

everywhere but the love area. sure, some friendships skittered around the area, but while he might hate soulmates with his old age, he's stupid ab the idea of true love.

it's kinda fucked him up a bit in the modern era lmao. been alive so long and yet here he is

so canon au would have Matt touch Gilbert first. he doesn't know who owns this mark, bc he doesn't pay attention, so he thinks it's some mortal and he's kinda sad ab it, bc it's big, at the very centre of his palm and those are like, Best Kind, but c'est la vie

(while Gilbert has been having the opposite problem, mortals finding their love in him lmao)

while Matt and Gil have no idea the other exists (well ish. Francis probably goes off ab the other to them all the time), Matt discovers love in mortals to patch up the horrid fact he never even got to meet The One. a couple marks scar a ring around his centre mark

until one day in like, the 60s, he notices "yo this never scarred. it's always been solid" and goes maniac with glee and relief and a weird sense of wasted mourning

Al finds it funny that no one picked up on that fact all this time. bc their family all has solid centre marks and their friend family marks are still pretty solid

some of Matt's lovers picked up on it, but he dismissed it as "I don't know who they are" and it's dismissed and they better make the best of what they have

Francis tells Gilbert ab the delightful news "oh Matieu never lost his soulmate after all!! he's immortal!" and Gilbert is like pained smile grumble "oh good for him!" while painfully recalling every conversation Francis had ab Matt's current so

he figures it makes sense but good god

they can't figure out who the fuck out of their entire group is Matt's so. Francis wants to hold an event bc he's dying to know, but Matt's like, "I thought they were dead for 500 years, I'm cool to find out naturally."

Arthur casts a divination after and he n Francis go nuts once they learn the truth of the matter. Francis drinks so much he needs his stomach pumped. Gilbert calls him, and just hearing his voice, Francis gets into a giggle fit, they don't talk for like, 4 years

over the next 40 years, Matt n Gil will Wonder ab the whole soulmate thing. Matt bc he can't imagine who it could be, and Gil bc he's like, sad he himself doesn't even have that clue that they're even out there

they properly meet in 2009, the whole pancake and maple syrup thing, but no one touches. they form a bond of course, mutual understanding of loneliness, turns out they're like two peas in a pod

Francis has no idea they even became friends until 2016. he peaks at the palms of their hands, and is delighted to see Gilbert's centre is finally marked

new ending: Gilbert always touches the ppl he likes. pulls them in for hugs, slaps on the back, drags them off to do things. the first time he crashes at Matt's bc he thinks they're best buds, he slaps Matt across the back for being a goof

he is of course surprised by how solid Matt is, and wow his hand actually hurts, so he rubs at it and notices the mark. he short circuits.

Matt is like "dude you didn't break your hand did you? sorry oh my god lemme go get the first aid kit for a splint til we get to the hospital ah fuck"

and Gil is like "no no no I'm fine! don't worry about it! hah hah hah I'm gonna go nap I'm actually pretty tired, jet lag"

Matt thinks it's weird bc he was just do animated a moment ago, but shrugs it off, can't be too bad right?

only Gilbert doesn't pop up for dinner. doesn't come out of his room at all. matt's like "damn he must have been real tired," leaves him a note saying he's got leftovers in the fridge

but Gilbert is just going insane. the note didn't help bc it implies smth surely.

Gil frantically texts everyone he knows. Liz, Antonio, Al, they all just congratulate him. His brother gives him a five paragraph lecture on being nice. Feli sends him a bunch of cute ideas on how to tell Matt. Roderick has him blocked.

Francis. Francis grins like a loon the moment he sees the text and calls Matt "mon garçon," he starts, "your heart is closer than you think" and Matt, tired of this old man's cryptic romantic bullshit hangs up sighing heavily

Al visits too. now he knows and he wants to play wingman. that's his brother damn it. so starts the most horrible wingman stunt. everyone is so uncomfortable. when it doesn't work, Al goes to sulk in his guest bedroom

"that was weird even for him" Matt laments. Gilbert, knowing full well what brought it on just cringes. how the fuck did ppl do this whole thing??

Matthew isn't like. bothered? at first he was curious to know if Gil got a mark for him, but after seeing he didn't get any new ones, he was resigned to their friendship not meaning anything. sure he had hoped but ugh, best not to think about it

and Gilbert is freaking out like "why isn't he questioning if they have each other's marks??" he knows ppl do that, he's done it himself! god knows they've been stuck to each other's hip this last month so why?!

so he decides to just ask. "hey did you get my mark?" "oh no, I never got it." and he fuckinh blanks.

then Matt brings up his hand, showing Gil his palm, and there in the dead centre is Gil's mark surrounded by a ring of love. "see," Matt says, "it's the same as when we first met."

Gil had seen Matt's palms a couple times before the revelation. he didn't think seeing it now would affect him much but boy, he's gone brain dead

Gilbert raises his own palm, "mine isn't," and he knows Matt knows he's never had a mark in the dead centre. but there's one now.

"oh," Matt goes, thinking ab all the ppl he and Gil have met over the month, "congratulations, I suppose we'll have to find out who it is…"

which makes Gil go crazy, "no, no, no, how did you—no, Matthew it's you." Matt stares at him like "are you off your rocker?" and Gil recounts the event that gave him the mark, and telling everyone asking for help and how Francis was no help at all

and Matt's like "Yo! Francis called me that evening, saying how my heart was closer than I thought. I thought that he was just drunk, but if…. Tabarnak!" pacing around the room suddenly speaking quick french

there are tears suddenly but he's not wailing, instead smiling wildly, "I thought you were dead!" and Gilbert grins back "I thought you didn't even exist!"

(and idk ab you but this last bit gets me grinning wildly bc Gilbert Will Die, and Matt is usually forgotten to the point he can go ghost. he he he)

Hey Snook! I'm bored and just got reminded of a lot of the questions I had for your TBoBB AU over the past few months. Since I have time to kill, I thought I might finally ask you some of them (the questions that is lol)! 1. Is the curse Geoff put on Molly for her become half-leviathan when exposed to water permanent? Because there was nothing in the original post saying that it wore off or was reversed after this au's version of Molly vs The Ghost World (or even if it could be lol). no I am not coming up with mollie angst ideas around the concept of ollie seeing sea-beast molly no no I'm not 2. Is there a Ghost (Sea-Beast?) Council in this AU? If so, why? On the same page, is there still a scare report (or even an equivalent of a scare report in this au? Are they gonna summon a sea-beast and be like "eat X amount of ships per month or we're gonna send you to hell <333 bleh <333") 3. What would Jinx be? (aka: what is the equivalent of a joy-hunter in TBoBB?) 4. Lastly, since most of my other questions are just "What would X episode be like in this AU?" and I don't want overload you with a bunch of those, I'll just stick to one! What would this AU's version of "Frightmares on Main Street" be like? ... yeah that's the end of the ask

1: it is permanent. It only activates with a large amount of ocean water but Yes it is permanent. And don't worry, I've also been considering the idea of Ollie catching her when she turns too... So many possibilities

2: there is a council but they're arguably more like parasites to the much larger Leviathan/Chairman in power at the time. Basically, the OTC would send mental signals to the other beasts (perks of being an Eldritch horror) telling them to go out and kill (kind of like the Bewilderbeast in HTTYD2 if youre familiar with it) or that his territory was in danger. Buuuut most of the time they just do it on their own. Not a lot of big game in the ocean and those cargo boats start looking mighty tasty after a while 👌 not really any scare reports or documentation to prove they've been sinking ships but usually they can tell when a sea beast is slacking when the humans start to become more brave. They want to keep up the fear and stigma around the concept of sea beasts to keep humans out of the ocean (because they're dangerous but mostly because they're annoying with their big ass boats and skirmishes) I can't remember if I ever decided a stand-in for the fofp? I remember where we put the frightmares but I don't remember if I ever decided on a flow concept other than the chairman kills you 💀 and that's kinda a bummer

3: Jinx is there to assist struggling beasts with their human problem. Humans are crafty! They're advancing in technology every day, it's hard for a little ol limbless creature to keep up. But Jinx is craftier. She has a reputation for sinking ships specifically designed to hunt sea beasts. And she's good at it. Someday I'll finalize a design for her, the concept my friend gave me was really pretty

4: it would go like this;

Ollie had seen Molly and Scratch goofing off together from the lighthouse and decided to warn her about the dangers of sea beasts. She's probably never had the same hands-on experience with beasts as him and his family have (even though they've never caught one), she probably has no idea how dangerous they are. He thinks he has to save her.

He spots her loading up a small ship to go see Scratch (huge ass bucket of fish gave it away) and decides to stow away under one of the seats. After shoving off and getting a good distance from shore, he makes himself known (scares the shit out of Molly) and tells her all about how evil and violent the beasts are just as Scratch makes his appearance. (Now it's Ollie's turn to get the shit scared out of him) He's swatting at him and chucking random objects from the boat at him while Scratch is completely unphased, although getting frustrated, and yells at him to stop freaking out. The commotion attracts the attention of some frightmares (more akin to 4ft long piranhas with translucent skin) and they swarm the boat. Scratch tries fighting them off but he knows the only way to get them to leave is to go Leviathan mode (but that shit HURTS)

He tells both kids to close their eyes (they do not) and starts the transformation with dark clouds rolling in. It doesn't take much to scare them away afterwards but Molly is (understandably) freaked out and Ollie is mortified. He thinks he's completely justified and that Molly will finally see the true face of this monster (even if they're probably about to die) but as he gently approaches the ship and cranes his massive head down to look at them, he just asks in a raspy, otherworldly voice if they're okay. Molly says yes. Ollie can't form English words right now.

Scratch, exhausted, lets himself sink into the ocean as his detransformation process begins and Molly finally gets to put her hands on his shoulders and say sea beasts aren't bad. Just... Some of them. They're like people. If people were giant, noodly, scaly things. Shaking, Ollie says he understands. But it's going to take him a while to process. He swears not to say a word to his family.

I DIDN'T KNOW OK? I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT SCARLET. Anyway

Old main, semi-dropped just because I couldn't really get into her as a character again. I like her, I'm just struggling to make her personality fit with everything going on around her as commander. So she's no longer commander and in the middle of a full rewrite so uh this will be fragmented I don't know how to make the pieces fit anymore.

Grew up as an orphan in Divinity's Reach, has always been a bit "prickly" so the other kids called her Briar (see I had a reason) a name she officially adopted as an adult.

Really wanted to get into the mesmer collective her whole life, she's been motivated to "prove them wrong" despite not really knowing who she's proving wrong. Was accepted into the collective after HoT and quickly discovered it was kind of shit and not her kind of thing at all. But she's a shining blade now?? I haven't figured out the how yet but y'know she's one of those schemers with unresolved anger.

Due to the rework I have no idea how she lost her eye, it was originally during PoF but idk anymore.

She's just a prickly bitch that fought her way up the social ladder only to realize it was boring at the top.

Nora Fischer

The new and improved commander. Norn adopted by a human shipwright-family, grew up comfortably in Divinity's Reach, was the biggest girl in the guard. She's a big believer in both the spirits and the human gods. Have some headcanons about Norns being more bestial so I'm thinking she has a faint snow leopard pattern on her back/arms/legs and scared a lot of drunkards on her night patrols with her night-time laser eyes.

We joked about Nora attending a lot of social gatherings with her parents where they served itty bitty portions of food and how as soon as they got home her parents would release her like a dog and she would bolt down to the basement to feast in the dark. So she's a prim and proper lady but with a silly goofy feral side to her which they've had to adapt to as she grew up.

We also talked about how she attended her first Norn moot with her father and how she would have so much fun while her father was sidelined with a giant fur coat feeling very out of place but also reassured that his daughter would do well in life if she could excel in a chaotic situation like this.

She's also lesbian I don't really give my characters a sexuality but idk playing her she's just lesbian she just is that's just Nora over there crushing on the pretty girls the big femme top looking at the girls.

Idk I have more of a vibe for her I like her a lot she's a goofy gal from a family that loves and supports her. She's a goof because she's not a goof which makes her a goofball I like her a lot she looks like any prettygirl norns but in my head that's what makes her a goof. Again, I don't write down lore I am very much a vibe-based person.

Tiberius Marrowfed

One of the cooks in the Fed-Warband a warband all about supplying the front lines with nurturing slop. He's an alright cook but his specialty is drawing out every bit of flavor from bones. Permanent broth-duty.

She has standing bounties in every major city but because of her destructive impact she and her friends have on whatever annoys her most cities (not black citadel) will simply send out scouts to observe her. She did a lot of accidental interference during Zhaitan's invasion just from being a roaming lethal anomaly.

Need Headcanons for Ivan! (l'm Childfree until it’s my baby lvan.)

Ohoho boy, I am so glad you asked because Ivan has been living in my head for a while now. And by a while I mean months, he's just a little grumpy guy that I love goofing around with.

For context (and those who are new here), Ivan is one of my many clone descendants (Danya's "cousin" by Irnes) and actually should appear soon in Telegraph, if I have my chapters straight... If you've ever wanted a grumpier and more angry wet cat energy version of Danya, you've come to the right place! He also happens to be a (future) general under Capitano, he's pretty good with the blade but not good enough to be a Harbinger (yet)!

So here we go, onto the Ivan headcanons!

-Ivan is surprisingly physically affectionate. He's not exactly cuddly, but if he likes you, he will find you, and he will stand by you awkwardly until you give him attention. As a child, he had the habit of hugging Irnes' leg and clinging to him like a little koala, which translated into bone-crushing hugs in his older years. While he's much more hesitant to dish those out, Danya is always there with an excited smile and open arms, which Ivan will never admit to enjoying hugs from his overexcited cousin. Never. You'd have to kill him.

-Baby Ivan was very quiet. Quiet to the point that Irnes freaked out and thought he was dead on several occasions, only to find that Ivan was just staring at him sleepily. The only time he cried was for the basics, otherwise Ivan was deathly silent, other than the happy giggles when Capitano would tickle him or Irnes would bring out the many accursed "toys" the segments made for Ivan. Those things definitely weren't baby safe, but hey, Ivan lived. Despite the many close calls, the segments were very proud of their work, to the point that Prime himself had to tell Irnes to get them to shut up.

-Child Ivan was also quiet, but not afraid to speak his mind. In fact, his speech was quite eloquent, even more formal than Danya's at the time, and that big brain of his could sustain conversation with Pierro, of all people. His ideas and opinions were definitely a lot more mature than they should've been at the ripe age of seven, but the Harbingers found it amusing that a seven year old had such strong and developed opinions on the "stupid experiments" Dottore was conducting- and the fact that he was proposing methods that might've been a bit fantastical, but definitely thought out.

-Ivan is generally cold to everyone, but Dottore- he hates Dottore with a burning passion. He loves his father, but Dottore presses all his buttons the wrong ways, and Ivan's quite sour about his abandonment of Danya, even if it's technically all in the past.

-Since Danya almost never gets angry, Ivan tends to be angry for him. The two don't usually come as a package deal, but when Ivan hears about a recruit being rude to Danya, or a foreign emissary overstepping and crossing the line, he'll put them in their place accordingly, and be in a bad mood for a while. That usually means he hacks up some training dummies, but he's been known to have a temper when Aurelio in particular is involved, especially after the accident with Danya's near death in Fontaine (that Aurelio was responsible for).

-Ivan also takes his role as the defender of his family quite seriously. He has two younger siblings, both which he adores, and he ensures that the court isn't making remarks about his father with force. In fact, part of the reason he's in the Snezhnayan military in the first place was his desire to protect his family, and keep them off the streets when times got rough. While yes, that did mean that he entered training at the age of thirteen, and fought on the battlefield for the first time at fourteen, the thought of ensuring his family's safety kept him going, and ultimately motivated him to climb the ranks.

-He's very close with Capitano and (begrudgingly) Tartaglia. Since he's a part of the infantry, and a general, he tends to follow Capitano more, but Tartaglia will show up to demand that they spar regularly, which Ivan has learned to reject. He's not eager to get blood on his freshly pressed uniform, please and thank you, and besides, he's got better things to do. Things like talk to Capitano about troop movements, and follow his senior around like a shadow. In fact, many of the Harbingers have taken to calling him "Capitano's lapdog", much to his disgruntlement, since it's rare to find Ivan without Capitano being nearby.

-Furthermore, on Capitano and Ivan's history: Ivan was originally promoted because he survived his first battle, and in an interesting manner. Ivan's panic at having a gun in his face manifested a vision, one that sliced all the surrounding enemies to ribbons in a mere second. It's not that visions are exactly rare in the Snezhnayan military, but seeing such a young boy, carrying one and looking grim like death itslef as he stood as the only surviving member of his platoon... Capitano's protective instincts kicked in more than he cares to admit, and he took the boy under his wing. He knows greatness when he sees it, and he wasn't exactly wrong.

-Capitano definitely pats his shoulder or back as a signal for Ivan to back down. Yes, Danya teases him for it. Ivan is conflicted.

-Ivan always stayed by Irnes as a child. Unlike Danya, he never really cared to explore the outside world, instead more than comfortable to sit in his father's lap and look at all the machinations and genius inventions that he designed. At one point, Ivan wanted to build ruin machines too, so he could be just like Irnes. He looked up to his father (and still does) more than he cares to admit, and holds him in high regard.

-Irnes was definitely a more gentle parent, especially with Ivan. The other two, he had to be a bit more firm with, but Ivan... He was always a cautious kid, and more often than not, he would come back to Irnes anyways after his "adventures" outside Dottore's lab. Ivan wasn't much of a talker, instead preferring to be more physical with his gestures, but he would always tell Irnes that he loved him whenever he thought about it, which made his dear old dad quite happy.

-Ivan has... mixed feelings when it comes to the Tsaritsa. He worships her, as she is his archon, and respects her power, but he's never been as close with her as Danya has. A part of him is jealous at how close his cousin is with Her Majesty, especially given how Irnes was also close with her, but another part of him knows better than to desire these things from his queen. The few times they have interacted on a less professional basis, she has always looked at him sadly, as if she knows something he doesn't.

Anyways, that's just a little peek at my thoughts regarding Ivan! Hopefully that made sense, because that's a lot of information to cram into one post...

May I get some headcanons of any of the Noah's Ark Circus crew with an s/o who has kids from a previous relationship/marriage? Any of your choice is fine.

I decided on Freckles, Peter, and Snake for this one~ :D

… Oh, God, she’s got built-in children!! Just when she thought this relationship couldn’t get any better, they introduce her to these tiny humans? She really couldn’t be happier about this. She’s always, always known she’s wanted children, but she’s gone back and forth about whether or not she wants to actually get pregnant herself. As far as she’s concerned, this is the perfect situation.

Obviously, she pretty much adopts them as her own even if she can’t do so ‘officially’. If the other parent isn’t in the children’s lives, she becomes either their new mum or dad. (She’s really not too fussed about what they want to call her. She goes between genders anyway, so whether they want to call her Mum or Dad, she doesn’t really care.) If the other parent is still in the children’s lives, no big deal; she just becomes like a third parent and rather than Mum or Dad, they can just say, “This is my… Doll! She’s like Mum or Dad, but I have Mum and Dad already, so she’s my Doll!”

Is she allowed to just act like a big kid along with them?? She might be the technical ‘favorite’ simply because she’s always goofing off with the little ones. She plays games with them, she always has sweets — though she makes sure not to go behind her S/O’s back if they’ve already said no sweets — and she just smiles with them so much. It’s less that she wants to be a child again, and more that she just wants them all to be… happy. Children shouldn’t have any worries like she and her family had when they were young. She’s determined to make sure these kids get to be kids. If that means she ‘has’ to run around with them… she’s not complaining.

It’s… fine? His reaction initially maybe isn’t the healthiest, as he’s kind of irritated at the reminder that his S/O… had relationships before him. In some small part of himself, he’s always wanted to be someone’s only love. The idea that his precious loved someone before him enough to have children with them is like a wound in his mind that he keeps picking at, making it mean more than it does. He’s terrified that someone his S/O has had children with is someone they love so much they might ‘go back’ to that person and leave him alone.

He kind of keeps his distance at first, mainly because he’s afraid to get attached to the children if (Name) might leave him. “Ain’t I already lost enough?” he might grumble if asked about it. “If I start lovin’ ‘em, ‘n’ then y’ decide y’ don’t wanna be with me anymore…” After all, his S/O left someone else they loved, right? That’s shut down pretty quickly, even though he can’t fully shake it, but also… the kids! Depending on how old they are, they might mistake him for a child too, because he kind of looks like one! And he’ll grumble even more about that! If he’s going to play papa, he needs to have the authority!!

As long as the children are old enough to handle it, he might take them up on the trapezes with him and Wendy. They’ve got a loving auntie in her, and, well, despite it being his job, there’s actually something about the trapezes that Peter likes. It makes him feel free and focused all at the same time. It also feels sort of like flying, which is something a child would love, right? He doesn’t take them up too high, of course. By the time he’s come back down to the ground with them, he’s laughing and hugging them, and it’s just… nice. It’s the first moment that it hits him he’s very happy to have the kids in his life, and grateful to have such a wonderful family. He hasn’t smiled or laughed like that in years.

Is his S/O… sure this is a… good idea?? They’d better be, because he certainly isn’t. Actually, he’s incredibly worried at first. Not only do most children not know how to be gentle with animals simply because they haven’t been taught, his snakes also have not been around enough little ones to realize they’re more fragile than adults. Everyone needs some practice, a bit more exposure to each other. That’s assuming the kids aren’t afraid of snakes. That would probably break his heart. Luckily, they’re still children, so there’s time to carefully coax them out of that fear, and he’s willing to supervise interactions if his S/O thinks that would be okay. (Even if they’re not afraid, he’s supervising. Snakes are animals, and animals around children can be dangerous.)

As long as he doesn’t happen to have one of the venomous serpents hanging off of him, he’ll gladly hold the children for a while if they want to be held. He’s anxious about it for one reason — being that he’s never been around children before. He doesn’t know how best to hold them, or what to do if they start squirming and/or wailing, or that he should have snacks on hand if they suddenly complain they’re hungry whilst he’s holding them. Still, there’s a part of him which is undeniably snake, and he himself doesn’t have venom… so he’s probably more akin to a constrictor. Which means he gives great hugs and, for him personally, means he likes physical contact even if he’s not used to it. Once he adjusts, watching him carrying one of the children (or, heaven forbid, two at a time), you’d never know he wasn’t a natural.

His S/O can laugh at him if they want; he lets the snakes ‘read’ bedtime stories and ‘sing’ lullabies to the kids. That is to say, he will have one or two of the snakes around his shoulders as he tucks the little ones into bed, and he’ll say, “Wilde and Keats are going to tell you a bedtime story tonight,” or, “Emily is going to sing you a lullaby, alright?” And then he will… proceed to either tell a story using the snakes’ voices, alternating who’s narrating, or sing a lullaby in that snake’s voice. The children seem to like it, and… well… it sort of makes him happy. His friends are included in something which is very relaxing, which means less fear of the snakes. Plus, although he’s horribly insecure about it, he has an absolutely stunning singing voice. One can hear his tone even through a voice he does for any snake when he sings. Toward the end of a song, his real voice will bleed into the voice he’s putting on for a snake. If his S/O were to walk in on that, listening to him singing a gentle lullaby in that soft, dulcet singing voice he has… he’ll never stop blushing. Nor will he hear the end of requests for him to sing as himself. At least it never fails to put the little ones to sleep. It’s never clearer than during those moments that he will do anything for these children.
