As much as I'm glad Daniel Sousa got away from Peggy because he deserved so much better than her, I won't ever forgive Marvel Studios for proving Agent Krzeminski's ableist, misogynistic ass right when he said, "No girl is gonna trade in a red, white, and blue shield for an aluminum crutch."
What a great message to send to disabled people in the audience, "You are only ever good enough to be the second choice to an abled person, you don't deserve a have a happy ending."

I think the problem with me with Jean Grey is that she always in some way screws so much with Scott I know it's an horrible comparison but the MCU is one of those times I cannot fully say about the comics since I'm still new but not just the movies there were times with the animation if I recall that she would even though be with Scott but her heart is conflicted by Logan and the fact that she kind of egged Logan on about it where with from with the whole Rouge Magneto & Remy even though Remy wanted Rouge he backed away and stood far for allowing Rouge for what she wanted to do in order to get what she always wanted cause no one else has Remy cared for someone so much as Rouge he WANTS her to be happy to where with Jean trying to explain she kind of purposely mess with Logan even though she is in love with Scott and majority does but she still has an opening for Logan once in a while and though I do and don't like Jean this is the thing I cannot stand seeing of her messing with other people feelings especially when she knows that Logan does care about her and yet she always goes back to Scott 🤨

Hey y'all!
I have a brand new fic for you! This is something I've been working on for Fandom Trumps Hate and @cerealboxlore!
Summary: After his identity was revealed to the entire Justice League, Billy is benched, brushed off, and a little bitter about having his life turned upside down.
When his babysitter of the day is Hal, fresh from a long stint in space and more than a little intrigued about his apparently twelve year old teammate, the two find themselves in the middle of a fight against a strange new enemy that seems intent on pushing them to their limits.

Hello its me yapping again... about that witch from Marvel sorry bad English
Scarlet witch solo film but instead of being your typical 'mcu magic user shooting laser beams/lame-portaling to different dimensions plot ' it's Wanda Traveling the World Investigating and solving paranormal Cases, committing exorcism ,Collecting weird possessed knick knacks, Interacting with Supernatural entities like Actual Angels and Demons... Ghost? gnomes? Fairies? Werewolf? vampire?etc..like imagine them being an actual entities and creatures ( I hate that mcu always Scientify/Alienfied (?) Supernatural Entities and mythological creatures) boringggg
I think with an actual creative writer they can make mcu Wanda and mcu Chthon interesting and entertaining not just another "I am demon and I made you do bad things because I chosen you plot" please like imagine if he and Wanda actually met before but Wanda did not know he was a demon, they met after her parents die and he's like....(Don't slap me please) Became like her father figure/weird imaginary best friend, growing up in Wanda's memory he's just a kind oldman/creatures that helps her manage and Cope her with the death of her parents but then he randomly disappears as she reaches adulthood and also as a child she's experiencing supernatural and paranormal activities she didn't know he is the reason she is seeing things until she became the Scarlet witch... there is so many things I want to say....like come onnn the potential is there!Just Imagine The Drama The Angst and Wanda Having a Father(Figure) issue!!
Wanda Maximoff Character have so many potential and I hate that writers don't realize it :( Likes she's interesting....and I hate it even more that majority of her fans just talks on how much they I wanna sleep with her...and if not they are just reducing her to another depressed character that don't know how to handle herself I hate that TikTok fans won't stop focusing on her dead families and won't stop making the same videos over and over again, I don't care about her being powerful i hate that they made her too powerful because it's the only thing people always talks about...and Wanda is not supposed to be scary she is not a horror character stop trying to make her scary pleaseeee stop it (Waldron had done so much damage in her character >:|)
imagine her doing actual witchcraft that is not just "moving lowing hand thingy"...ya know like she obviously still gonna use her powers but not just for shooting beams and levitating objects she can do more than that like 'i hate that magic is just unexplained science thingy' it's so boring, I want her to yell Incantation while casting spells I don't care if it "goofy or corny" that's how magic is supposed to be anyway and I also hate the "no need for Incantation thingy" and the Karate-kungfu with Glowing sticks and circle in Doctor strange...how are these people called wizard?
I hope with see some real Magic in Doctor strange 3
how did mcu manage to make magic boring...I hate this...yes the fight scenes in Doctor strange are entertaining but they remind me of Naruto Ninjas more than wizards... and again sorry for my bad English I am bad at words...and "(?)" means I m not sure if the words are right ..

The art is lovely and now I'm gonna ramble because that's what I do when I care about something.
For the love of women, please PLEASE can fan artists remember to add muscle to their Shadowhunter ladies? I'll commend Bowater for cleverly giving James that sculpted and lean look without making him a beefcake (nothing against beefcakes, I'd love to hug them), but Cordelia is once again suffering from Arms And Shoulders Too Slender It's Hard To Even Imagine Her Picking Up A Sword. There is some there, yes, but artists shouldn't be afraid of giving particularly Female Main Characters weight and toned muscle. Cordelia is supposed to be nearly the same height as James as far as I can remember, and she's curvy, and full, and she wields a sword like it's second nature to her. Please explain why she looks so tiny in James' lap.
Also I'm pretty sure marriage runes are supposed to go over the heart whenever possible (thinking about Will's parabatai rune being over his heart instead -- he didn't get Tessa to draw over the scar, did he??) and... either I'm looking at the picture wrong or James' rune is not over where his heart should be.
For the matter, where are their other runes and scars?? James' Voyance rune isn't even on his hand. And I'm pretty sure he's right handed. I could have that wrong though.
Another thing: no one can ever decide what Cordelia's hair looks like and it's the funniest thing to me. This is what happens when all you do is vaguely say the colour is like fire but also like rose petals but also a flowing river of those things but also is Red (probably for redhead, but then from there I never understand where the rose petal analogy comes from considering the typical rose is a deep bloody colour -- I do acknowledge the existence of those light orange varieties though which might more closely resemble red hair). In the end, I'm glad readers can infer what they want and imagine the characters how they like.
Anyone else think James looks like he's built like a tennis player? Oddly specific, maybe, but it was a thought I had. Mostly the arms and somewhat narrow body.
James' hair is nice, his eyes are an interesting take on gold in the shadows. Bowater managed to also make him look closely related to his father, so bravo for that.
In the end, the focus is obviously on the marriage runes and not other physical aspects outside of it being clear that this is James and Cordelia. Bowater's style is very beautiful and elegant. Love the way fabric and lighting is done too. I'll add also that it is possible to be a smaller person who is slender but still strong so I mean Cordelia's not necessarily done wrong, I just interpret her appearance differently. Obviously, they're both hot and they're both attractive and I have my qualms with the series, chronicles, and author -- the fandom I am so-so on, though I'm still here, aren't I? And I'm taking the time to ramble about my thoughts on a piece of fanart -- but this is good. Gorgeous, even. Both James and Cordelia are beautiful.
#side note: am I the only one who thought cc made a mistake trying to describe james as handsome in cordelia's eyes#as opposed to matthew being the beautiful one#when there has always been a deep and aching strange beauty to james??#james herondale#cordelia carstairs#vaguely crediting charlie bowater though it isn't like you can't find a dozen more copies of this with the credit#also yes I mercilessly picked this apart because I am still trying to find avenues to express my dissatisfaction with tlh#I search for flaws what else can I say#I am aware of it but it's hard to turn those thoughts processes off#maybe I'll write a post at some point all about the authors I once Loved that I am now deeply critical of#a lot of people would hate me for it but eh#also we all know about the marvelisation of cinema#but is it time to talk about the marvelisation of book series/worlds?#or perhaps it has a better and more book-focused name? the jkr approach? rick riordan's marvel-esque flaw? the sjm plague? the clare affair?#we'll workshop it#maybe it's the curse of middleschool-YA series and the issue of aginh readers in fandoms#and I don't mean this as discriminatory against anyone older in fandom because there is not really a limit nor should there be#for most media#but the issue of when the readers grow up amd authors try to accomodate for that -- not necessarily by making their work more adult --#but by making MORE because there is also an influx of new fans and they want to stay relevant while retaining the old#it's a whole thing though I'd need to sit down to properly organise my thoughts to talk about it

okay, so after seeing the full scene from the Blu-ray I actually hate it a lot less, because it seems pretty clear that Loki and Sylvie both had the same thought of playing the situation like they were still enemies, but then Ravonna showed up and suddenly Sylvie was slammed back into the mindset of that little girl getting her life ripped away from her. She wasn't genuinely upset until then.
on the other hand, I fucking hate the Frog Thor coronation scene with every fiber of my being capable of being devoted to things that don't actually matter, to the point that I would have had a hard time not ragequitting the entire show right then and there if they'd included it in the final cut and I'm having a hard time forgiving the fact that it was filmed, let alone released into the world as a deleted scene, and I really don't think even my usual obsessive desire to reconcile all parts of canon and most parts of almost-canon is going to help here
especially if any part of fandom starts acting like this is Just Canon Now as part of Thor and Loki's backstory. can't do it, y'all, this is a bridge too far for me, I will comprehensively lose my shit
(the whole point of what happened in the first Thor film is that Loki's actions came out of nowhere!! like the entire point!! I mean we can argue for a million years if the power-hungry bullshit and the blatant usurping and the peacocking demonstrate either a huge retconning or misrepresentation of his characterization in that film--they do, so of course that's my biggest objection, but it's also not the reason the scene makes no sense and cannot possibly be canon, and the reason is, nobody else in the movie would behave the same way if Loki had already made a credible (ridiculous, but still credible) and extremely public attempt to get rid of Thor and take the throne. Sif and the Warriors would be openly distrustful of him from the start instead of mostly dismissive and only later moving to distrust (can you imagine any of them letting Loki protect their backs or Thor's during the fight on Jotunheim if that stupid coronation scene really happened? really?), Odin would probably suspect Loki's involvement in the real interrupted coronation right away and punish him as well as Thor, and Thor in particular wouldn't keep blindly trusting him, which is why Loki is able to lie to him so well and why it hurts him so much to learn the truth.)
(I'll certainly accept as canon Loki turning Thor into a frog at some point and Thor smacking the shit out of him in revenge. I don't give a shit about that part. I mean, I already accepted half of that as canon because Loki wrote it into his stupid play in Ragnarok, so I figured it must have actually happened.)

I have been seeing a lot of discourse on certain tags lately about fanfiction and writing fics that are “out of character”. And I don’t like conflict, so I was keeping my nose out. But now I’ve seen some things that I just can’t let go, and as the self-proclaimed fandom mom, I feel like I need to step in and state this loud and clear—
Fandom is for you.
The whole point of fanfic and fanart and cosplay and anything fan related is for you, the fan, to take a work that has already been created and have fun with it. Make it your own. Dive in and explore and do what you will. Fandom is meant to be a creative outlet where you can share ideas and art with other people who have the same interests as you.
THAT BEING SAID: it is never. And I repeat, NEVER okay to gatekeep fandom. And yeah, I fucking hate the word gatekeep. But it’s the only way to describe what I’m seeing happening. And so I’m going to use it again—
It is never okay to gatekeep fandom. It is never okay to gatekeep characters. And to throw negativity at anyone’s work, let alone come straight out and tell them that they’re wrong for shaping a character a certain way— I’m sorry, but where do you get off? I am completely understanding of wanting characters to stay true to the source material. I am completely understanding of having your own opinions about/expectations for a character and wanting them to behave a certain way. But YOU, my dear friend (or rather, we), are not the creator of those characters. Which means that we have no right to tell someone else what they can or cannot do with them.
The whole point of fandom is to let your imagination run wild. And if that means that a typically good character leans more evil in a fic, fine. If they make decisions you don’t agree with, great. If they do things that directly contradict what would have happened in the source material, even better!!
LET. PEOPLE. CREATE.
Let them throw characters into crazy situations and analyze how they react. Let them stretch them out like putty and poke at all of the soft bits inside. Let them shape them into something completely other just to see what happens. Let them be curious. Let them explore. Let them have fun.
Fandom should be fun.
And the second one person starts dictating what is right or wrong for a character or a ship, that’s the second it stops being fun. And that’s when fandoms die.
Don’t gatekeep something that doesn’t belong to you. Because again— It doesn’t belong to you.
You are allowed to have your own opinions. You are allowed to have your own expectations for characters. But who do you think you are, to flat out tell someone (or a group of people) that the way they write someone is wrong? That the way they have imagined something is wrong? That their creativity, their expression, their joy, is wrong? Or, as I’ve seen more recently, when someone gets dejected by the posts you’ve made telling them they’re creating wrong, you have the audacity to tell them “that’s okay, now that you know you did something I don’t like, you can reevaluate your work and try to improve!”
How dare you.
Because once again, I hate to break it to you, but you’re not the creator of these characters. And I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the actual creator is probably just so happy to see the diversity of idea that has sprung from their creation. So who do you think you are, to dictate an entire fandom?
If you don’t like it, move along. Click out of the fic, find something else to read. I understand having frustrations when things don’t go as you’d hoped, when a piece of work that you were excited about crosses those outer lines of your expectations and you feel disappointed. Again. But you know what? That’s your expectation. What about the person halfway across the world who reads the same fic and finds themselves in it? Finds a small piece of comfort that encourages them to hold on for just one more day. What happens when your words completely discourage the creators of your fandom, have them second guessing themselves? What happens when they lose confidence and stop creating completely? What happens when the fandom dies, and suddenly there’s nothing new to explore— to your standards or not?
You are allowed to have your opinions. Of course you are. You are allowed to express them. But you are never. EVER. allowed to tell people that they are wrong for making art that you don’t agree with. For using their imagination in a way that doesn’t fit into your small box of approval.
Let creators find happiness.
Let creators create.

loki season 2 and even the season 1 finale, has done an amazing job of creating a sense of urgency—of something on a massive scale, going wrong and we need to fix it.
Obviously secret invasion isn’t about the multiverse or time at all, but that’s what it should have felt like, but it felt so small and… unimportant.
anyway, love the new season already!

I'm in depth watching Teen Wolf and I love Scott don't get me wrong but he needs to get over his little savior complex. I'm on s2 e3 and I know Derek isn't the best Alpha but he's told Boyd, Erica and Isaac the pros and cons of getting turned and they made their choice. Scott should respect that.
Edit: if I could un-post this I would, contrary to what you all think I do like Scott. I'm not bashing him.
