ranpo is very affectionate no matter where you go so you two could not be more different in that regard

like. at home ? hes never not in your lap. shopping ? your arms Will be linked together (so he doesnt lose you, in his own words). at work ? he sidles up next to you and slings his legs over yours while he begrudgingly does his paperwork

he doesnt mind that youre more reserved when it comes to pda !! he knows how to tone it down when he gets to be too much

he just has a lot of love to give ok :-(

ranpo is 100% the type to just like. after a long day he will very dramatically splay himself across your lap and be like "ughhh im dying of boredom..... blehhhhh........."

his favorite activity is laying on top of you and demanding that you entertain him (any means possible) (especially reading to him)

he BITES !! leaves hickies on accident sometimes (he says hes sorry but like. is he really) and he encourages you to bite him right back fr. hes so silly i love him

admittedly he is a little upset he cant be as affectionate w you in public but he loves u enough that its ok and he makes up for it by not letting go of you from the moment you get home to the moment you go to bed

has fallen asleep in your lap before. also has fallen asleep on top of you on the couch before. haha good luck getting up you cant youd disturb him

silly... as somebody who runs a casino (yes he still runs the casino in my head. canon can get bent) he is very very busy, so he understands that there simply may not be time or energy to dedicate to him during working hours

affection shared between him is often that tired sort if only because after a full day the last thing he wants is something high energy

seeing as he spent a lot of time around fyodor, public physical contact of any kind is probably still a taboo hes deconstructing, so hes very much grateful that you arent really big on pda yourself (if only because he doesnt feel ready for all that at this point in time)

he likes to just lay against you, or hold your hand while he does his paperwork :3

dazai isnt super affectionate in public, hes sorta similar to you in that regard, but he still has to be touching you almost all the time

HES SO ANNOYING ABOUT IT TOO his love language is annoying you so he will find the most inconvenient ways to Just Barely Touch You so that you have to talk to him and tell him to stop

getting home tho you get to literally watch the mask melt away. you sit down on the couch and he immediately just relaxes into you, he is ALL over u

(pspsps play with his hair. and like gently run ur nails over his scalp a lil bit. he gets so so sleepy when you do that)

dazai is so NEEDY w affection but he knows how to act like he doesnt want/need it in front of other ppl

if ur in private and ur not actively giving him attention. he will stare at u for a bit before practically tackling you. bro sprawls

hes not like AGAINST pda btw i forgot to touch on that its just that he prefers to be more private with his genuine romantic endeavors :3 like hell annoy you on purpose in public but behind closed doors hes a softie fr

dazai also bites as a love language like ranpo does but dazai is always careful not to accidentally bite too hard (ranpo may not give a fuck but dazai certainly does)

OK you wanted it this way

1.- I like STW but I usually have to get up to do things while playing (yea sometimes in FN:BR I hide in bushes to go and do some other stuff. I've barely made any progress, the game is quite complicated to me because I don't play it often and I forget what was going on? And I don't know how to use most of the mechanics of the game(? Still, the humor is funny, the gameplay might feel repetitive from time to time but I like it, I really really like it.

I also would like to have more IRL friends who play STW (or FN in general), I bet that game mode is way funnier and rewarding in squad. But nobody plays it, and I think I have no friends who play FN? Just my older brother and he has his own duo so I'm not getting in between them (?) (and he doesn't like STW so he doesn't even have access to it). There's a dude at my workplace who plays FN but no thanks, I don't like him, he's stupid (he's the it guy who can't fix a damn thing. I hate that guy he's so stupid)

As always, I'm playing solo in this squad mode game called life (?

2.- I know I often say I'm doing it for me but, damn, I wish someone could like it the way I like it too. I'll see if it's worth the effort or if I should just finish the damn thing and save if for myself. I'm not hurt or anything alike, I was 1000% aware this was going to happen, and it's helping me improve. I think I just don't want to deal with that anymore. Sorry, I lose motivation quite often and easily

3.- I try to keep everything happy and positive in my FN blog but... I don't really like Hope. I mean she's cool and all that but I just don't like her e-girl thing going on. The only thing I like about her is the cat on her banner icon whatever the name of that thing is. Neither sunsp0t, actually y don't like a lot of things but I'll just save my awful FN opinions. I should've saved my headcanons too

4.- Surprise surprise (actually is no surprise) I'm losing followers. And I get it, I get you guys, I used to post funny things, funny drawings (or drawings in general) but now I just complain about everything. Sorry, I'm not in a good mood anymore.

I don't think people should keep following/stay suscribed to a channel, account, blog thing they dont like no more. I've seen artists (on Twitter of course) complaining about how people should not follow an account for X specific thing but I don't think that's how things work. Just like the things you like change, the things other like change too. They should NOT feel forced to like the things you like and see the things you want to share. But I guess you have to grow up to realize that. I personally don't feel offended when people stop following me, right now I'm offering nothing but negative text post, and that's OK. Curate the things you consume, make it a more pleasant experience, don't feel forced to follow someone you no longer like.

I personally follow people for a specific thing, and sometimes, like everyone, they change the things they make, but if I like their stuff I usually stick around because it's interesting! I just stop following if they change for worse (the same way I changed for worse). Still, not everyone thinks the same way I do.

5.- I still thinking I should just make another sideblog to dump all this dumb kind of posts but honestly I don't want to deal with it. Making an FN exclusive sideblog was already way too much, but I didn't want to mix all in here

6.- I guess that's what you get for interacting with people half your age.

8.- I wish we could talk, someday. I'd like to know you better. I know I don't exist for you but you mean so much for me (yea now I understand my taste for one-sided fictional relationships lol). *cracks knuckles* only a couple weeks late (edit: longer than a couple weeks I REPEAT LONGER THAN A COUPLE WEEKS) let’s do this

3. Any criticisms about your favorite game, or anything you would change?

Hmmm let me see… it’s been a while since I last played fe3h so there’s probably a few gripes I’ve forgotten about, but here’s some off the top of my head:

I’m probably the thousandth person to make this criticism, and I won’t go on about it as long as I could, but the dissonance between “haha look at funny girl she scream and cry and run away” and “yeah hi im actually this way because I was Horribly Abused” in Bernadetta’s supports makes the former hard to watch sometimes. Often times I’m just kind of sad and uncomfortable for her when the game is clearly trying to be funny. There's some nuance here of course, and I could go into more detail on a good day, but I've been sitting on this paragraph for *checks notes* nearly 2 months so. Good enough.

Considering that you're meant to replay significant portions of the game multiple times between all the routes, I really wish there was just a tiny bit more variety in the map designs and objectives. Cindered Shadows some gets credit for addressing this (A Harrowing Escape my beloved/beloathed).

5. Which titles have you played?

I got into the series through Awakening, and since then I’ve played Three Houses, Path of Radiance, Radiant Dawn, Sacred Stones (got close to the end but never finished oops), and Shadow Dragon (only played the first map so it barely counts)! I've played both Warriors games too, if that counts, and I've been playing Heroes since launch. And we can't forget about my favorite Fire Emblem game, Super Smash Bros.

18. Do you have any special stories related to the series?

It's not much of a story, but during my most recent Awakening Hard Mode run, I decided to use Donnel (who I had never properly invested in before this playthrough) and promote him to Hero. By Chapter 11 he was already basically my champion, but he officially cemented himself in that role when he got a perfectly-timed crit and finished off Gangrel with a triumphant YEEEEHAW

anyways, quick summary about jackie.

Jackie went through a lot in his living years! going through the 50s to the 80s as a black man in the uk certainly was something! He used to be a genuine sweet and caring kid and now he still cares but hes very jaded by the world. He used to be part of the british black panther party and he has many opinions bout stuff and politics! but he has quited down quite a bit after his embrace.

he has a bit of a shortfuse cuz folk keep threathening him and hurting him so he is quite defensive. sadly he does not have the brains to see yet that he himself also hurts people and he should be a bit nicer to folk sometimes!

He cares tons about his friends and those who he considers fam. he does not enjoy seeing folk get hurt but.... if push comes to shove he will always choose himself. hes all he has. and all he can rely on and nobody is worth destroying himself over. atleast he'd like to think that. he does however often finds himself choosing his friends over himself and he hates it.

EHHHH FASHION WISE. He basically runs a GIANT company called SALMON which both makes ready to wear as haute couture. he is not the sole designer of it al. but he is most well known. he is a bit of a control freak with his company (not much better outside it either) so he will pick up more work than he should resulting in him always stressing about something.

Hey I have something important to share:

I have made the decision to filter out any vent tags for the sake of my own mental health.

I’d like to make it extremely clear that IT IS PERFECTLY OKAY TO VENT ON YOUR OWN BLOG!!! Venting can be a good way to let things off your chest and can actually help people!! It isn’t wrong to vent about your thoughts if you feel need. Your feelings are valid and you have every right to express them. You shouldn’t feel bad about venting. Please don’t stop yourself from venting if it really helps you. <3

And please if you have vented to me in the past DONT FEEL BAD ABOUT IT!! You didn’t know and you had no way of knowing. I’ve gotten over those times and now that I look back I am genuinely so glad you had someone to talk to. I don’t regret listening, and I was never upset with anyone and I’m certainly not upset now. Your feelings are valid, and you shouldn’t feel bad about it. Please don’t feel guilty, it was never your fault. Again, I’m genuinely very happy you had someone to talk to.

It’s just that I get very anxious about certain touchy subjects and what ends up happening is that it occupies my mind for a long while. I often end up worrying about them so much that I can start spiraling and it negativity impacts my mental, and even sometimes physical, health.

I wish I was stronger. I wish I could help more. But everything becomes too much for me. And after a genuine talk with my mother about it, we both agree that it would be for the best if I avoid those things.

I feel bad about doing this. I care about my mutuals and really anyone going through hard times. I want to listen and I wish I could be stronger for them. I thought that I could just “suck it up” and put on a brave face. And I did for a while. I thought that if I couldn’t handle being there for my friends it would just make me a selfish jerk. But now I realize I’m not the right person to do this.

Please please please don’t take this the wrong way and think that I don’t care. I do care. I care more than anything, and I genuinely hope that things get better. I want to be there for you. I’ve tried but know there’s only so much I can do. I’m with you, and I support you. I do love you and you’re all my friends. Im so sorry about everything. I wish I could be stronger. 1. Why did you choose your url?: When i was a kid and on my first social media sites (basically Deviantart and mail accounts) i always used "jackdragon" as my username because of Jack Redfield from Memorias de Idhún, I wanted to keep that theme on Tumblr and I came up with this one I quite like :)

2. Any side blogs?: Yes, both are dead but I don't really know how / want to delete them lol, they're @skamesptranslations for, well, Skam España clip translations; and @gleespana again, pretty self explanatory, I had a project of rebooting Glee but set in Spain and with Spanish songs and stuff.

-Yami Bakura would be an...interesting yandere for sure

-Sadistic to the max, very possessive. Honestly he’ll see his darling as more of a game, a treasure to be stolen and won than a partner or significant other. Though, with enough work you can worm your way into his heart and he’ll be softer (as soft as a being of darkness can be anyway, he probably thinks a human heart in a box is a romantic gift)

-His vessel Ryou would be a soft, sweet yandere, something that disgusts him. His past self a possessive protective yandere, something that still irritates him but less so. He can appreciate how his love for hording and hiding away his treasure didn’t leave him

-Yami Bakura is a mix of the dark sadistic tendencies of Zorc, and the possessive protective tendencies of his past life. Part of him doesn’t give a shit about you, sees you as a toy, something for his entertainment and nothing more, theres no attachment there. The other part of him is a little too attached to you. He sees you as his treasure to steal and hide away, he wont share it with anyone! He wont even let them see it. 

-I honestly see him probably falling for/getting attached to one of his hosts friends. You’d have to be a frequent in Ryou’s life to even get even a slightest hint of his attention, it’s ridiculously hard to pull his attention from his plot to kill the pharaoh and obtain the millennium items.

-But once you catch his interest there is no escape 

-Unlike Ryou who likes to hide in the ring, avoiding seeing what his spirit does, he is always watching everything around his little host, even if he doesn’t know it. He’ll study you, enraptured. His calculating personality mixed with that spiral of obsession will be a dangerous cocktail for you, one that you won’t be able to escape. Not that you’ll even know you have something you need to escape from, no, he moves too fast. 

-You’ll be kidnapped nearly immediately regardless of which side of him feels stronger towards you. He isn’t someone who likes to share, and he can’t have anyone catching on to his...interest in you and getting in the way. 

-He’ll lock you up probably in a cold dark warehouse somewhere, hidden away where no one else could ever hope to find you. Even Ryou won’t know how to get there. He’ll make sure that his host never even knows about him kidnapping you, or if he does find out it’s beaten into him what will happen if he ever speaks a word of you to someone else, or if he tries to help you. 

-Let’s get this straight, even though he may have a soft spot for you, he won’t be making things easy for you. The warehouse is, cold, wet, dark. He won’t make any attempts to make you more comfortable, you’ll probably be left shivering in whatever he kidnapped you in (Probably your pjs, he’d sneak in in the dead of night and snatch you up)

-He can never hold himself back from visiting you no matter how much he insists he’ll just forget about you there and leave you to rot. He’ll see you nearly everyday, bringing you food and games 

-He’ll force you to play game after game with him, tricking you over and over again. You’ll never win. He makes sure of it.

-You can’t say no to playing, he’ll hold necessities over you like rewards. Oh? You want to eat? Better play a round of duel monsters with him~ Though you’ll probably lose more than you’ve gained in the end...hope that food was worth it.

-Honestly how he responds to you will heavily rely on how you respond to him. He’s unpredictable, his mood towards you changing so rapidly that it’ll be impossible to learn how to use it to your advantage. 

-If you are louder, aggressive and violent with him he’ll respond in kind. His punishments, his ‘rewards’ for winning games will be more cruel and sadistic, he’ll get some kind of twisted glee from breaking you down, making you cry, watching as you lose hope. He’ll never fully break you, of course. At least not yet~

-A softer, more level headed darling will earn more favor from him as long as you keep him entertained. His punishments are more likely to be teasing, cruel taunts rather than ruthless torments. He’ll probably bring you nicer things, play with you a little more. Hell, he might even be nice/soft towards you every once and awhile.

-”Come now, darling~ Don’t tell me you’ve given up already? The game hasn’t even truly started yet!”

-It’s a strange thing, you find yourself getting attached to him, warmth spreading in your chest when his lips quirk up into a smirk when you start doing better at his little games, making him actually try instead of dragging you around the game, a pawn in his little game

Yet you still found yourself melting into his touch. Somehow, you knew he wouldn’t hurt you. 

-That moment changes everything, as long as you play your cards right, behave and don’t set him off he’ll start bringing you things. You don’t ask where they come from, you ignore the bloodstains that sometimes comes on any furniture he brings you. You kiss his cheek and thank him. He smirks at you, grabbing your waist and tells you he thinks he deserves more than that after dragging that shit all the way out here.

-Any thoughts of using this new found power over him are gone, along with thoughts of asking him to let you go, or even trying to escape during the brief times where he leaves you alone for longer than a few hours. You are...content. As you can be. Maybe its Stockholm syndrome sinking in, the pure terror of seeing what he did to others that betrayed him, or the punishments that were beaten into your very core. It didn’t matter anyways, you were never going to escape

too long! started off in 2010 as a one direction/glee/football blog where i was mainly obsessed with the spain nt & nando torres (paintmyrojaheart ill never forget u) then got a ~aesthetic blog back in 2012 (lostbeyondrepair) that I maintained regularly right up until I hopped on this new account! honestly tumblr has been in the background of my life for so long, its a special place.

nope! i only queue posts when i go through my likes i havent reblogged and i’ve sorted them out in the proper order i want them to post and then want to get rid of the 50 tabs I have opened! yes a bit psychotic i am aware!

when: january 2021! why: i kept using my aesthetic blog to look up f1 content and then just knew i had to make the switch to a new account if i wanted to join in on the circus!

Now im not gonna say 'dont feel bad pls' bc I know that's not really useful but what I do think is useful is just discussing why that anon and many others feel the need to respond that way. As someone who follows a lot of writing blogs myself and have done for a long time, i've seen my handful of favourite writers come and go for different reasons, lose motivation for a while, gain motivation for a while, go from multi to single fandom, or single fandom to multi. Often times as a reader it can be upsetting when things change but it's also important as a reader to understand that some things aren't in anyone's control, I can't control what my favourite writers become a fan of or lose interest of, I can't control things in their personal lives that may motivate or demotivate them to write, but what I can do is support them as long as they're active, and if they move on to do things i'm no longer interested in or i'm the one that changed interests, rather than being upset that they're evolving to do other things or that they're not evolving with me, I think it's important that I still feel thankful for the works that I enjoyed while we were still on the same page and this is how I personally deal with those negative feelings. I think the anons that lash out at you probably just dont know what to do with themselves, maybe they got attached to your works while you were still only a jjba blog and now that you're evolving they're upset, while I understand how they feel, they're going the completely wrong way about it. I've learned to take these things and turn them into something positive for myself or at least something bittersweet that I can move on from but the anons that lash out at you for whatever reason probably haven't learned this yet. Maybe it's because i've moved on and changed interests a lot myself that I know how these things go for both writers and readers but those anons maybe haven't experienced this as much so they dont know what to do with themselves other than complain that you've changed and throw insults at you in an attempt to get you to revert back. None of this is because of the quality of your writing like they want you to believe, it's literally just because you've evolved and while some of your old followers might not like the new content for no reason other than it not being their cup of tea, it's definitely not regressed at all. You are pumping out a lot of content right now but every single thing i've read has just been better than the last. Things that really stand out to me is how well you get characterisation down to a T and all of your dialogue is just on point and from the pov of a reader I think those things seem the hardest to get right so I am such a huge fan of your stuff at the moment and I can tell you're really putting so much thought and care into each and every fic no matter how fast you're producing it, I think the fact that you're also proud of what you're writing at the moment really shines through as well and I just adore the passion that radiates from every completed request as well as in the responses for the subsequent thirsts resulting from these works that appear in your ask box later (I know i've sent quite a few by now~)

Just to be clear i'm not defending those anons in any way, while I can understand what they might be feeling/why they're reacting in the way they are I still believe it's just so immature to be hateful online point blank. Even during a time where I still got upset with writers if they started doing something else I still never targeted that negativity directly to the writer and sending rude or hateful comments whether on anon or not never something i'd stooped low enough to do even when I still had an immature way of thinking, however, I hope that it might make it a little easier to brush them off if we try and understand what they're really upset about, and that they're just putting the blame for their negative feelings onto the wrong thing rather than coming to terms with change themselves.

hello anon!! i appreciate the long message. i do feel bad for people who have no interest in what i’m currently producing and i get that they feel upset about it; i’ve watched a lot of fellow jojo writers move on completely or just stop posting, honestly. this kind of thing is why i was so intense about asking people if it would be better if i made a separate blog but the resounding answer seemed to be ‘i’m just vibing with whatever happens and i’ll block tags as needed’. 

i often return to works by my favourite reader-insert writers who no longer write for the fandoms i like (and i read stuff bc it sounds interesting or i trust the person who writes it), but change can be difficult and i guess at this point i’ve - whether u like me or not lmao - been a fixture in jojo reader-insert tumblr for a While so it’s probably kind of jarring.

i try and write every day bc it’s super good for my little ocd/autistic brain to have routines and distract itself, so i’m glad other people can enjoy them because that makes me motivated to carry on! like, i write for myself mostly bc the content i want i sometimes get find, but filling requests and writing for other people also leaves me with happy warm fuzzies too! i appreciate you!! <3

i do miss having a discord community bc it was nice to talk to everyone in real time but it was hard work, i am glad that people feel like they can just come into my askbox and gush! i’m not very friendly in real life and people tend to think i am cold and stuck up so i work very hard to try and seem friendly and approachable online, which is much easier for me because i get to think and re-draft before i type! <3

Okay so I’m so excited for the next part of Belladonna. I can’t wait! All of the different ideas and the small hints you have given make me so happy. I seriously can’t wait, cause I already know it’ll be amazing.

Speaking of amazing works, Tradition was so good. I loved the talk between Kaz and the reader. Just the amount of respect and overall care they have for each other. Kaz being jealous and feeling insecure a bit, reader reassuring him. Reader being worried about Kaz pushing himself and how comfortable he truly is with something. Also jealous Wylan was amazing too. The Wesper parts were cute and I loved them. It was overall so incredible.

I have another question based on Schat (which please feel free to ignore all of this if it ever annoys you. I feel like if I ask too many questions or message people too often I’ll annoy them, so please be honest with me if I am annoying or bothering you.) Do you think the reader would start using a nickname for Kaz after the events in that story? If so, what nickname(s) do you think she’d use?

Overall my week has been bad because my grandma has had some bad injuries and health related problems that are really concerning (don’t want to upset or trigger anyone by talking about it, so I’m trying to be vague in case). On top of that my job has been stressing me out and my main friend group got into a bit of a disagreement recently that just cause more stress. I have also recently not been feeling the best either so it’s just been overall a crappy week. But like I said you have really helped and I appreciate you letting me talk to you. You are so amazing and nice and it makes my day to see you’ve responded. Your writing and overall your blog make me happy as well. It’s always so good and uplifting.

seeing you liked tradition was such a relief too! i must've rewritten that piece four, maybe five times, at least bc i was scared the interaction between kaz and y/n wouldn't be done in the right way as i wanted it to be respectful and caring - but it was still kaz brekker i was dealing with lmao (and i love wesper so if i can sneak them into my fics i definitely will 😙

tbh i think y/n would already kind of have a nickname for kaz (not tied to schat specifically, also in belladonna and my other fics) like i kind of see her calling him bastard (affectionally) bc everybody uses it in a way that emphasizes how much of a horrible person kaz is - so i think y/n using it in a positive way would maybe change his perception of it?

idk just think it’s cute lmao & i feel like kaz wouldn't really be comfortable being called the typical lovey dovey nicknames like baby or babe (maybe love? i think he'd be alright with that though it's on thin ice) so yea

besides that, im so sorry you're feeling stress about work and your friends babes :( i know it may just be empty words from a stranger on the internet but i promise everything will sort itself out eventually - try seeing it from a bigger picture! maybe it's a stressful thing that has to happen now to make way for better things in the future :)
