the thing (one of the many) I love about Lee is how maturity is also shown on his frame. because, technically, they can't grow old just like normal humans, however his mind will and I find amazing the subtle differences between Palefire, Entropy and now Hyperreal.
As I mentioned in a previous post, Palefire is still kinda stuck in his past as an assassin, which is completely understandable, so you can see this brutal, blunt, and cold demeanor on his way of speaking, way of moving and acting. As if he is still suspicious of everyone, not wanting to let his guard down just in case his new teammates dare to betray him, as if the nice words and actions he is experiencing, are but fake.
Entropy looks a bit more mature, but still quite naive if you ask me, and back to my previous post again, just because he is still learning how to trust, how to rely on others, finding the perfect words to express what he's feeling. And that is okay to relax when he's with Gray Raven.
And then.... Hyperreal. It's so different from his other two frames (taking in consideration he made some changes himself, except the hair colour, that wasn't an option), and how mature he looks, not only physically but also emotionally. I am absolutely amazed how much he grew up in SoC, how we can see the development between his past selves and this new version of himself. More secure, more stable, more relaxed, he finally let go of any doubt and I'm sure he will cherish every single moment with his new... family. he will do whatever it takes to protect them, but he knows now he can ask for help, he knows he can rely on them, he can fully trust them because Gray Raven never abandoned him.

Oh Jeez, I knew this episode was gonna be divisive since we finally got an answer to the question: What happened between Day and Night? Full disclosure, I got pretty emotional about it too! I've calmed down now and after some reflection, I've ultimately concluded that whichever brother you find yourself sympathizing with more, neither of them is undeserving of criticism.
This situation isn't black and white. There are no heroes or villains here. Neither Day nor Night are at fault for what happened, it was an accident and the resulting situation is complicated. Between unhealthy family dynamics and the individual characters flaws, there are A LOT of factors here making the conflict actively worse (not to mention they both suck at communication). It can't be resolved so simply by deciding which one of them is right or wrong.
It’s fine to feel a bit defensive over them Day and Night are both good characters— but please don’t equate criticizing either of them with dismissing the characters feelings. Those are not the same thing nor are they mutually exclusive. I am not condemning Day for feeling what he feels and acting out because of it, but I am pointing out that how he’s choosing to react to his feelings is not healthy and is ultimately hurting both his brother and himself. Someone else would not be condemning Night for saying that him not explaining himself better is exacerbating Day's pain, they would simply be pointing out that his lack of communication skills is contributing to the problem and he needs to work on it. Criticism does not equal dismissal of the underlying reasons for why they act the way they do.
Analyzing these behaviours and criticizing them isn’t disrespectful, it’s a process that teaches us how to identify these behaviours in real people and in ourselves. That’s the entire point of stories, the author is trying to convey a message— to teach a lesson. Hopefully one you can take with you once the story is over and apply to your real life.
I don’t want Night OR Day to be stuck hurting each other forever. I like both these characters. I want them to get a happy ending. I hope we can all agree on that much, at least.

I feel that Vulcans would have a space equivalent to the tortilla. Or naan. Something like that. Regional variances of course. And they would tear the tortilla apart and use it as a utensil for certain meals

Hi, I just want to ask about your Shards of Star Au: En tu Brutus, what's your opinion on Prime Megatron?
Wow it's been a while since that au, and I had to scroll a decent while back to puzzle it out more again
Anyway baseline tfp Megatron a big bag of dicks in both that au and canon, but I fucking LOVE his design and personality and backstory and especially his design, and in fanon I've been won over to several different interpretations of his character. I think he's the character I'm most notorious for simping for, he's the first character who shows up in my suggested tags.
His design is gorgeous, I see so many beautiful fancam edits for him, the art is amazing, he can be such an interesting character to put in Situations™️, I think he's plain old badass for a villain. He's fascinating to me

I think the most unrealistic thing about Harry Potter is Ravenclaw never winning the house cup.
A bunch of introverted people with special interests who prefer to to avoid all the drama? Yessss?

On the Doctor and companionship
I am currently rewatching season 2 of modern Doctor Who while also watching the 60th anniversary specials, and what devastates me about the Doctor is that they never allow themself to get too close to anyone in fear of losing them ("that's the curse of the time lords"), always changing topics or running off with someone else when things get serious.
But when it does happen and they lose someone (Doomsday, End Of Time, Angels Take Manhattan, to name a few...) they are left utterly devastated and heartbroken anyway.
Tumblr media
Because you can't stop yourself from caring about someone by denying yourself to be vulnerable and close with them. All that does is denying yourself moments of joy in between moments of loss and loneliness.
And for all the thousands of years the Doctor has travelled the universe, they still don't get that. They still deny themselves that happiness, probably as punishment for some thing or other, and it breaks my fucking heart.
Tumblr media
In the 60th anniversary specials we (finally) get a little bit of the Docter letting Donna in (or rather, her persisting and reading the Docter like an open fucking book), but in the moment the Doctor has been most open and vulnerable with her, telling her they missed her, even looking for physical affection, it turns out they were decieved and it was an impostor talking to them!!!
Tumblr media
We get to see the Doctor letting out their frustration over that, perhaps for the first time, in a moment where there is no one around to fool or pretend in front of. (Cue me crying my eyes out)
Tumblr media
In conclusion: someone give that daft alien the biggest hug imaginable and force the Doctor to let themself be loved.
Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

What would the listeners bring as a good to a party/potluck/bbq in my opinion:
Angel: David made Mac n cheese with bacon and baked cheesy potatoes. Angel brought napkins :))
Sweetheart: tater tot casserole and jalapeño poppers, milo probably had to make them stop eating them in the car before they were all gone
Baabe: veggie plate with GOOD dip and veggie kebabs, they strike me as a fellow cauliflower lover
Darlin: stale pretzels and vodka. Sam brought some Apple fritters too
Sunshine: lemon tarts, orange tarts with caramelized peels they are gone very quickly
Freelancer: baklava and caprasi salad, specifically pear and walnut baklava Caelum helped
Lovely: lemonades and cold chili tofu , also a cute cups of blood for the vamps :)
Starlight: deviled eggs and cucumber rolls, they don’t really seem like the person to bring meats and they prolly love cucumber
Smartass: the grill champion!!! Burgers, chicken, hotdogs! Yes they’re competing with Aaron for grill privileges
Honey: pizza obv, watermelon and honeydew cups as well it’s Guys favorite fruit

how is china characterizing 6em these days?
From what I can tell, it’s been a lot of them have either been brothers, old comrades that once knew each other, clones, or even complete strangers.
2016 A Chinese Odyssey Part Three 大话西游3 - this one they never really met at all just that they happened to look like each other. He does sleep around a lot in this one. Deadbeat dad.
2017 Journey to the West The Legend of the Merman 西游鲛人传 - killed by Wukong, wants him dead and tries to pretend to be him to break him up with his girlfriend. Pissed-offed villain.
2020 The Real vs. Fake Monkey King 真假美猴王之大圣无双 - strangers but that Six Ears was promised his wife would be healed if he took on Wukong's memories and lost his own so that evil lady can kill Wukong. Loyal husband who lost his identity.
2019 The Monkey King: The True Sun Wukong 美猴王之真假孙悟空 - this one they grew up as brothers but had a falling out over a girl. Jealous brother.
2020 Monkey King 大圣 - made from Wukong's qi and used as a tool to gain Wukong's trust while he is forced into a fighting battle. Lab Rat turned good I think?
2021 Monkey King: The One and Only 大圣无双 - this one the guy is actually just a hair clone that gained too much sentience. Hair Clone.
2021 Six-Eared Monkey 六耳猕猴 - this one they kinda knew each other but moreso Wukong knew the guy was a shit and always trying to fight him? Also, Six Ears adopts Wukong as his son. Some jerk turned dad?
2021 Marvel Monkey 六耳猕猴之妖王重生 - Six Ears is dead and it's about his next life as a human. Dead.
2021 The Monkey King: True and False Monkey King 齐天大圣之真假美猴王 - not actually sure, prettying sure it's about Six Ears trying to get Wukong to fight heaven again. Friends? Brothers?
2022 Journey to the West: True and False Monkey King 西游记 之真假美猴王 - Six Ears and Wukong are brothers and Wukong took the fall for Six Ears and pays the price to go on the pilgrimage while Six Ears wants revenge. Brother.
2022 King of Confusion: The Rise of the Great Sage / Four Monkeys in Confusion 混世之王:混世四猴 /混世之王之大圣崛起 - this is like Wukong meeting all the spiritual primates so I'm not too sure if they are all meeting at once but it sounds like they never met beforehand as Wukong is meeting them all on the journey. Clan member?
2023 I'm Not a Great Sage 我不是大圣 - Six Ears trying to be a villain but accidentally becomes a hero in his own right. Pretty sure he was just some guy in this but still a cute idea. Wannabe Villain.
2030 True and False Monkey King / Dare to Ask the Way: Apprentice Chapter 西游记之真假美猴王/西游记真假美猴王 - this one is like Six Ears is dead but Wukong takes on Six Ear's apprentice as his own I think? Dead.
So yeah there are a lot of different takes in the past decade or so with Chinese media when it comes to characterizing the Six-Eared Macauque. A lot of directors often use their own spin either making him cartoonishly evil which is always enjoyable. Some make him just straight-up evil while others make him a tragic character that is either an abomination or a man that has been pushed too far and needs to be put down. At least two just leave him dead. And then some that make him a confidant in Wukong that has betrayed him and we watch his descent into his own downfall from one thing to another. There are a lot of different directors doing a lot of different things and I think it’s great that people can have their own creative liberties when it comes to the character and can’t wait to see where more people take him.
But these are just the ones I know about. There could be more I haven't stumbled across yet but I have to say but is spilt between Wukong knowing him before the journey or him just being a guy that Wukong happens to become his obsession. Lots of variations of the character that I think anyone could find themselves being drawn to depending on what a person is interested in or looking for. I think directors have a lot of fun with Six Ears as not only a character but as a concept because everyone loves a good doppelgänger sometimes. He isn’t as popular as like DBK or Iron Fan when it comes to like movies or such but he is still well-known enough for him to have a lot of interpretation
