Ok, I'm mostly making this for myself, but.

If you finally find a community of people that are like you, that are different from most people, and you finally found something affirming of your identity, something that helps you accept yourself more, but you feel like you are not "oppressed enough" or "don't suffer enough" to "qualify" as a part of that community;

don't try to forcibly change yourself or your beliefs just so you would feel more accepted in that community.

The point of building communities based on our differences is to show acceptance for who we are, and to be ourselves.

Changing yourself just so some people in the community would accept you defeats the purpose of communities based on differences and yearning for acception.

Don't invade spaces or spread misinformation; or try to say that you are better than others in said communities for specific traits. but, if you feel finally seen and accepted and happy in a community and you can finally view connection to it, I don't see why you should change yourself to fit in there.

I've kinda seen a couple people use this term casually, but afaik there's no actual definition or symbols or anything. I really identify with it, so I figured I'd make some!

Human plus is an alterhuman identity where one is human as well as something else, or human but also more than human somehow, or anything along those lines. Basically, it's when one is human, but that's not all.

The definition is loose on purpose. There's no wrong way to identify with this term; I don't like gatekeeping, and I didn't even invent the term, so it'd be kinda silly to tell people how they can use it.

For me, that means I'm human plus cat, since I'm dualspecies. Human is my primary species identity, but it's not all I am.

The symbol I came up with is pretty simple: just a human palm with a plus sign cut out of it. It's 100% free to use; credit is appreciated but not required, as long as you don't claim you made it. You're also free to change it, or remake it if you can do better than me, as long as, again, you don't take credit for the original design/idea.

Right, considering the current state of corporate politics on this site, and that it seems that only those affected seem to be actively speaking on the matter, this needs to be dragged out to a wider audience.

This extends to refusing to believe in bogus call-out posts for frankly minuscule thinks such as being horny or kinky, especially if the target is presenting in an ‘unconventional’ manner, (therians, etc.) this double standard where it is seen as ‘degenerate’ for transfemmes to merely exist in certain spaces, yet everyone else is fine to do so is disgusting and part of the reason for the backlash.

My grandfather and my godfather (a beloved neighbor and dear family friend) had a long standing bet- for one dollar- about who would die first. Both of them being slightly pessimistic (in the funny way), they both insisted that they themselves would be the first to die. Any time my grandfather had a health scare, he’d gleefully call up my godfather to boast that he’d be passing “any day now” and he was sure to win the bet. It was a big family joke and they were always amiably sparring and comparing notes about who was in worse shape, medically speaking.

When my grandfather was in hospice care dying of liver cancer, my godfather was quite ill also. It took him great effort to make the journey to see his dying friend. As he came into the room, supported by a family member, he shuffled to my grandpa’s bedside and silently handed him a dollar bill. He was ceding his loss of the bet, as they both knew who was going first. My grandpa had been in quite bad shape for a while and was no longer able to speak but let me tell you he snatched that dollar with unexpected strength and literally laughed aloud. He knew exactly what the gesture meant and he couldn’t help but find the humor within the grief. It was the last time any of us heard my grandpa laugh, as he passed shortly after.

When I talk about my appreciation for “dark humor” I’m not so much thinking about edgy jokes, but rather the human instinct to somehow, impossibly, both find and appreciate the absurdity that is so often folded into the profound grief of life and death. When I tell this story I think it kind of perturbs people sometimes, but it’s honestly one of my favorite memories about two men I really deeply admired. I could never hope for anything more than for my loved ones to remember me laughing until the very end, and taking joy in a little joke as one of my final acts.

Is it possible to experience shifts in which case are related to multiple of your theriotypes/animals ? I know polytherianthropy is a thing, but I'm not sure if experiencing multiple animal shifts at the same time makes sense

Asking this because I feel like sometimes during my possible shifts I act both like a wolf but also like a cat, interchangeably, mixed in together, as one spirit rather than two separate parts. Does that make sense?

the fact that Israel can precisely target ONE apartment in an entire residential block in BEIRUT to kill two hamas leaders, proves once again that they CHOSE to carpet-bomb Gaza and murder 31.000 Palestinians to "defend themselves" against Hamas. Israel CHOSE to kill civilians, they CHOSE to bomb every hospital, every school, every refugee camp, every residential block. israel does NOTHING to spare the lives of palestinians, they want to thin out the population of gaza so they'd be able to settle their citizens there.
