Every year on 15 May Palestinians mark the Nakba, "catastrophe' in English, when around 750,000 Palestinians were forcibly expelled from their homes by Zionist militias to make way for the creation of lsrael in 1948. It is an event that has shaped politics in lsrael and Palestine ever since, and one which Palestinians say continues today in different forms of war, occupation, siege, home demolitions, land confiscations and more. Those expelled in 1948 and their descendants number 5.8 million refugees today, living mostly in neighbouring Arab countries. lsrael has never allowed Palestinian refugees to return to their homeland, making their plight the longest unresolved refugee crisis in modern history.
This was shot last year. It explains what life is like under the occupation in Palestine, especially the west bank. It's very important and informing about everyday life, please watch it and share it as much as possible.
An interview by Dena Takuri.
"700 children are arrested by Israel in the West Bank every year."
I saw this post today on my Instagram feed, and it made me think, "why should we celebrate April fools this year When so called "feminists" that support Israel are big enough jokes within themselves?" So this is your reminder, that no, you aren't a feminist if you still side with oppressors in 2024. Free 🇵🇸.
I just saw the IOF kidnap Palestinian fathers and sons... They are torturing them. Humiliating them. Stripping them naked and then killing them.. and posting it online.
That is . .That is what they can do? Not fight in a war, just kidnap and torture.
Oh how i fucking despise every single fuck who said "my heart goes out for the Israeli civilians." I fucking despise them.
"B-but Palestinians can get their freedom with peace not violence 🥺🥺" no. Screw your feelings. The armed resistance against colonizers and murderers is what will give Palestinians their freedom and what will eventually achieve real peace.
An enemy that bombs and uses white phosphorus against civilians doesn't know nor practice what your broken moral compass describes as "peace". Freedom was proven throughout history not to be achieved through kneeling and asking the oppressor to kindly stop. Freedom needs to be taken by force. Your little Utopian way of thinking doesn't work in the real world. Your feelings don't matter because you're not the one living under occupation. Your feelings don't matter because you're not one of the thousands of children who lost their limbs. You're not one of the children who became orphans due to this genocide. You're not the mother who lost her child to the carpet bombing. You're not the father carrying the remains of your child in plastic bags. You're not the newlywed woman who lost her husband. You're not the one at risk of either getting killed any second or losing your loved ones in the blink of an eye!
"Peace" is not really a thing you see during a live ethnic cleansing!
This is the moment israeli soldiers shot and killed 9 year old Palestinian Adam al-Ghoul in Jenin in the West bank.
They also killed another child today ( Basil al wafa) a bit later. See the child who pulled Adam, he had to hide because israeli forces were still shooting. In Jenin, no hamas, no ceasefire. When zionists say they want peace this is what they mean, Palestinians going back to being killed in silence.
Palestinians are forbidden from gathering rainwater.
Source: a UN report: ‘according to Israeli military orders in effect in the area, rain is the property of the Israeli authorities and thus Palestinians are forbidden from gathering rain water for domestic or agricultural needs.’
As well as prohibiting nearly all construction of wells necessary for Palestinians to secure additional quantities of water to support population growth and socio-economic development, such policies have denied communities access to water and sanitation facilities, including water, toilets, sewage networks and cisterns for rainwater harvesting.’
I have made this some time ago, but I am just now posting it. I made @pandoraslxna as a Na'vi as a way to show my appreciation for her amazing work! Please go support her.💜💜💜
