Tonight's Daily Show, with John Stewart, made me laugh harder than I have in a long time. I hear my NYC childhood neighbors in him.

I think it’s incredibly fucked how capitalism discourages learning for learning’s sake. People will have interests they’ve spent years researching then say it’s “useless knowledge” bc it didn’t go towards a college degree and isn’t part of their job. Learning is never useless! Your brain is growing and developing throughout your whole life! People would never have epiphanies or sudden lightening strikes of creativity if they weren’t learning new things! That goes double for topics like science, politics, and history, which inform your understanding of the world you live in!

I too am disappointed we never got a grunge Raph. Let's pretend. 2003 Mikey taught himself to play guitar, drums, and piano. I want to believe he listened to Nirvana, Bush, and Rush often enough.
Also: MORE BODEGAS. More weird stores! I lived in Brooklyn as a kid next to a head shop. I rarely saw bodegas in the 2003 show.
Okay, TMNT Fandom.
I saw a post by a young fan saying that the Ninja ninja Turtles were now as old as their parents at forty. So I'd like to know who else is as old as or older than the ninja turtles franchise.
I'll start: in 1984 I was five years old. I saw the cartoon in 1988 and fell in love and I'm still there, in love. It's really deep. I don't think I can climb out.
