Headcanons of your latest art, plz
The cool and funny thing about the addams au is that ducks don't need to change their core personalities in the slightest in order to fit. They're all just kinda Like That already.
They're just Like That already!!
They already get up to wacky, dangerous shenanigans. And other people not in the family look at it and go "that's a whole lotta weird". Individually, none of them are exactly normal.
All you really need to do to addamsify them is to take the most out of the ordinary aspects of each of their personalities and dial the notch up about..... 60 degrees.
Below are ramblings about their characters. Enjoy.
Scrooge is of course the patriarch of the family, an adventure capitalist and the richest duck in the world who loves dancing with danger. He's basically the most unchanged out of them all. But this Scrooge is... twisted. He covets the thrill of almost dying with the same fervor he covets gold. And he proudly, nay lovingly, exposes his kids to anything that brings them near the glory of death with reverence. The "other bin" is a personal museum of deadly monsters, fatal curses and dead things that he proudly lets his beloved family (and hapless guests) admire at their leisure. And he's always delighted to teach his kids anything they want to know. How to swordfight? Of course m'dear child, anything you ask. Here's the correct way you load gunpowder into a musket. Here's a fun way to give your wind-up clock bomb a little extra oomph. Want a turn in the iron maiden?
Bentina was a whole different kind of spy. I mean she was an assassin. In fact she was hired to string up Scrooge when they first met, instead he bought her off and had her dispose of her original contractor. They became friends of course, Scrooge admiring her line of work and Beakley begrudgingly respecting the sheer outrageousness of his admiration. And since coming back to his house to raise Webby (his family-oriented nature wore her cold exterior down over time until she caught the love bug) she vibes as his pseudo-sister once more.
Yeah Duckworth is still a ghost. He's been there since he died in his sleep and the whole family got together to drag his fading soul from the river styx and shove him back into the physical plain. (They worship the escape of death, that doesn't mean they want to be separated!) He doesn't say much. They love him still.
Webby is literally the same character. Only of course, her already-warped perspective on life after growing up in the shadow of Scrooge McDuck is warped all the more. To Webby, fighting, grappling, shooting arrows, firing (real) guns and stalking your friends through the shadows of night to scare the light from their eyes for a second isn't just super fun.... it's affection!! She's a creature of the night. She'll give her family so many hugs. She'll watch her loved ones while they sleep. She'll strangle them until they pass out (affectionate), she'll protect them from anything. She's everything the rest of the world is just ken.
Della is presumed dead, and nobody is particularly mad about it. This is a family that walks closely with death, after all, so while their love for each other is so strong that even a decade after she was gone they still mourn her, they would never cut her memory from their lives. Her portraits hang everywhere, her room kept immaculately covered in dust and cobwebs just the way she'd want it to be. They bring her up in conversations as though she'd just gone out to buy milk or something. And every single year, on the anniversary of her death, they hold a seance to attempt to summon her back (They already tried the thing they did with Duckworth). It never works, and Scrooge and Donald hug and cry and reminisce together and then life goes back to normal.
Donald is a faithful, doting and affectionate dad to his nephews and has told them stories of their mother since they were hatched. He loved his sister so very much, but unlike canon never blamed Scrooge for her death. Yes, she likely died in space, her spacesuit smashed open and her body freeze dried in the soul-sucking endless darkness all because Scrooge lovingly gifted her something that would put her life at risk. But she's only dead!! Nothing to estrange yourself from your family over. Donald and Scrooge are instead brought closer through shared loss. Donald in this universe is still a sailor, and is entranced by the glory of the deathly, stormy seas and all the creepy, slimy creatures within it. His anger is surprisingly mostly tamed by way of catharsis (fishing and killing the fish and cooking the fish with far too much axe chopping and knife brandishing than needed). That doesn't mean he won't lose it if someone insults his kids, his uncle or his dead sister.
Huey is a sweet, smart, helpful boy with a penchant for biting that's followed him since he first grew teeth and a rage-filled alter ego that's switched on a hair-thin trigger. When he's not flying into a mad frenzy like a gremlin ("you've got such a healthy temper dear boy, make sure to sharpen your teeth before bed now!") he's deconstructing anything he can get his hands on and building them back better and more explosive. Don't be alarmed by his muzzle - his brothers sometimes force it on him when they get tired of his biting (it makes for an unfair fight) and sometimes they kindly ask if he wants them to put it on for him when they notice he's being a little nonverbal or cranky. He loves them a lot and gives them lots of hugs.
Dewey is a melodramatic little weirdo who recites poetry and Shakespeare, adores making a spectacle of himself and hates being one of a set of three. Quite like his canon self! Unlike his canon self, he copes with feelings of resentment and middle child syndrome by way of bloodlust. It's all in good fun, of course. What child doesn't try to smother their siblings in their sleep now and then? Why, back when Scrooge was a lad, his sisters once dangled him in the path of a speeding train while he was sleeping! When his murderous urges take a backseat and he gives the booby traps a rest, Dewey's a fun-loving kid who would go to much more extreme measures to get take vicious revenge on anyone who would make any three of his siblings cry. His dream is to die suffocating in a vacuum like his mother did.
Louie, having grown up in the mansion instead of a houseboat, is no stranger to the wonders of luxury. Luckily for him, the Scrooge of this universe is wrapped around the collective pinky finger of his wee ones, and is much more doting than canon. Also luckily for Louie is that McDuck manor is built on an expansive graveyard where he can look for jewellery, trinkets and gold fillings to his greedy heart's content. When he runs out of graves at the mansion (he always buries them back, don't worry) there are always other graveyards in town. And other towns, too. And true, Louie's been dragged back home by the police every now and then, so he's had to get sneaky about his thrifting ways. He can pickpocket like a pro, filching off anybody who isn't Scrooge (who would always notice) and snatching any shiny thing that isn't nailed down and can fit in his pocket when he's out of the house. He's sneaky alright, but also sensitive. Don't touch his stuff or he'll stab you. "did the little dragon add anything to his hoard today?"

Ok, I need to know. Donald's nephews (and maybe Scrooge?) how do they could fit in the whole backup detectives story? Is Della still around? Or is Donald the one taking care of Huey, Dewey and Louie by himself?
By the way, I think this story I really interesting, and I love to see all the lore and story behind it!
They're your neighborhood troublemakers!
Tumblr media
Huey, Dewey and Louie are the famous kids on the block, they're always together and messing around with whatever they can. Good kids, but not angels.
Donald raised them in the beginning, as Della actually was an aviator at the military air forces at the time. As the boys were born, she couldn't immediately go back due to her duties in the army, if she did, she would be locked away for disobedience.
After an accident in which she lost her leg, she was then discharged and went immediately back home.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For now, she's the one taking care of her boys, the four of them living together and finally spending the time they lost when they were far apart.

1 for excerpt ask game?
a piece that makes me smile
From "My Brain Hates Me"...
“Do you want your weighted blanket?” Della asked. Huey nodded.
Della got the blanket for him, and once he was under it, he gave a sigh of relief.
“Thanks, Mom,” Huey said finally.
“Any time,” Della smiled, “Let me know if you need anything, okay?”
“Okay,” Huey said as he lay down and let the world dissolve around him for a while.
Today had not been fine.
But maybe now it was.

How do you think Goldie and Huey interact?
i like to think of them as chaos and order meeting up and trying to make it work. huey wants to bring order to goldie's life (scheduling activities! talking about feelings! marriage with scrooge perhaps?) and goldie responds by adding a little more chaos to huey's (lie about things to get what you want! speak your truth without going apeshit!)

or the names reminded him too much of della to keep
OOOOOH! Another great theory! Yeah, raising her children without her was probably hard enough as it was, best to give them their own names/identities instead of being constantly reminded of the sister you lost (For those who haven't seen Ducktales 2017, first: why not? Second: she's fine, don't worry).

I didn't know it was your birthday today. I wish you the best and that you draw better than before, and I also like your drawing style. Keep it up and avoid other critics. Although I would like if you have more time to make some requests for me. Happy birthday once again, my best friend! 🥰😄😁
Thank you very much! Sorry for not answering you earlier, commitments and other things, but I'm glad about it. More precisely, my birthday is on April 5, if you didn't know, and for the others if they want to know, here's when my birthday is.
Apart from one or two people from another social network, I didn't hear any bad criticism about me and my drawings, although there were tips to do better than before and I thank them for those tips that helped me to do my drawings better. I try as much as I can, and I have a lot of ideas that I want to realize with new drawings, the only problem is that time passes quickly, so you need to plan your time well.
Once again, thank you for your greetings, as well as the others who gave me greetings and gifts these days (who hasn't yet, you can later, if someone wants to do it as a gift for me) and I'm very glad that you are so passionate about my drawings. And I know, maybe one day there will be drawings related to your ideas of ducks traveling in space (Ducktales in space), so I can do one for you too, if you really want. Certainly, besides that, there will be more surprises related to my drawings regarding ducks, crossovers, holidays, parodies, history, and related to my fanfictions, cosplays, other tributes to cartoons and comics and video games and other things. Although the only thing is that I still have to practice drawing complex things like drawing nature and mountains as well as architectural buildings and various transport vehicles. But it will be better when I perfect it.
Thank you very much for these words and thank you for these congratulations, I appreciate it! And thank you all for following me and supporting my works, I appreciate it!

Do you think Dewey feels like he’s the “Dumb Triplet”?
At times he does, when his brothers figure something out or something is going in that everyone else understands but he doesn't, Huey and Louie never call him dumb or just point out there's plenty of things he understands that they don't. Such as how films, shows and musicals work or how trends work (as shown in the og Louie's eleven episode, Dewey was right about yoyo tricks being the new IT)
He also now know how to fly a plan and do it HIS style, which later is how they escape don karnarge.
Of course there are times he feels like the dumb triplet but I feel that all three of them would have days like that.
Example Louie felt he didn't bring anything to adventures during the game night episode, so during that episode he felt like the 'dumb' triplet.
Huey struggles with knowledge that isn't based on facts and logic, like mark beaks hiring Dewey just because of a brief case or when webby talked about little rock people in the subway. Huey struggles with ideas of faith and believing in anything that doesn't have proof or facts. If he doesn't understand something or it doesn't fit with his knowledge or the facts, science and logic of the world he feels dumb and can't handle it making him frustrated.
And as another example, Webby.
We know webby is a genius when it comes to combat, weaponry, adventures and anything to do with scrooge, even knowing how to read in obscure languages. But she's not smart in a social and emotional aspect. She doesn't know how to handle her emotions or basic kid activies (such as the doomed trio to funzo and her early interactions with the kids and scrooge)
This comes from lack of interacting with anyone besides her grandma, she didn't even interact with scrooge until the boys arrived. Webbys used to just being herself and doing whatever she wants. Its why she can end up coming off a bit weird and with scrooge a bit creepy (like collecting drool samples and chugging a whole pot of tea that she doesn't even like)
Seriously though someone should tell webby its not normal to collect someone's drool samples or whatever else she has collected

ALRIGHT A HANDFUL OF PEOPLE NOTICED MY TREASURE ISLAND DT AU SO IT'S TIME TO GO FULL UNHINGED.
I waaaaaas gonna do character ref drawings and explain it all like that HOWEVER!! most of them (everyone who isn't just a pirate, basically) just look exactly like they do in canon so unless I think of anything to add to their already existing outfits there isn't much to do there. SO INSTEAD you just get a mile-long ranting textpost about who each character is and how they fit into the storyline. <3 You're welcome <3 I can draw other scenes later though!! If you've read it lmk if there's a scene you wanna see with the DT characters and maybe I can draw it. 👀
I'm assuming most people out there aren't as obsessed with this story as I am so I'll explain the plot as I go along with each of the characters. Also!! Technically just a Treasure Island story set in the DT universe, so starting off we've got Scrooge and co. living at the mansion (with Della!) all together. I'm not sure how much of the plot has actually happened though (other than that Della is there somehow) because for this story to work they have to have not encountered most of the villains in the series. SO. IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE (which also means appearance for the most part) HERE'S THE CHARACTER LIST AND AN EXPLANATION FOR WHY THEY ARE THAT CHARACTER-
Huey Duck as Jim Hawkins-
Y'know. Main character. The one who always does the craziest things with the worst ideas that end up being the best ideas in the end. Lives at the mansion with his family and such.
Flintheart Glomgold as Billy Bones-
He's a ranting raving pirate who shows up at the mansion someday, saying he heard Scrooge could help him out with something. He's reluctant to say what however, and they let him stay at the mansion because he has money and can basically pay rent for staying. He spends a lot of his time down at the docks looking for something in a disguise he calls 'Duke Baloney', and eventually asks and pays Huey to keep an eye open for a certain pirate with a missing limb. I think it would be funny though if he ended up not dying (and idk how much of the alcohol we're putting in this, I don't think it would work to have him die of a stroke after drinking too much 👀), there's just some other random thing that somehow boots him out of the story for the rest of the time. In a very Flintheart Glomgold manner. I don't think I have a character for Black Dog yet, so that leads us into our next person-
Magica de Spell as Pew-
She's this scary-ass pirate who shows up at the mansion one day looking for Glomgold, gives him the Black Spot and tells him he has until 10 before the other pirates are going to break in and steal the map he secretly has. After Glomgold dies (or doesn't, depending on what I do with him XD) and she does break into the mansion with the other pirates (only Huey and Della were at the mansion at the time and after going through all of Glomgold's stuff- and finding the map- they decide to stay hidden when the pirates show up 'cause they know they can't get rid of all of them), and ends up being defeated somehow (not sure if she should actually be killed or not) when Scrooge gets home and the rest of the pirates flee.
Scrooge McDuck as Squire Trelawney-
You know Scrooge, the second he sees the treasure map Della and Huey got from Glomgold he's already making plans to find it. He sets everything up and funds it all, hires all the crew and has his family come along.
Gyro Gearloose as Dr. Livesey-
His ass is not a medical doctor!!! He still goes along to help out with stuff. I think the only reason it matters what kind of doctor he is because that one time when he gets into the arrangement that he's the doctor for the pirates... technically that could work as Beakley but she's Captain Smollett and she's injured at that time. So who knows. Livesey is supposed to be the more levelheaded of all of them, he's the one who's reasonable and stops Trelawney from being impulsive. HOWEVER with Gyro's actual personality I guess we have to switch that here. XD
Mrs. Beakley as Captain Smollett-
Scrooge is technically funding/leading the voyage but doesn't properly know how to lead a crew, so he asks Beakley to do that for him. She is entirely against going on a treasure hunt, knowing what's at stake with all of the crazy pirates (who aren't afraid to kill people to get what they want) that want this treasure as well, but ends up going along because she wants to make sure everyone stays out of trouble. She does end up being the one who is badly injured during the fight with the pirates however.
Fethry Duck as Ben Gunn-
Ooohh so this is one of those characters who just lines up so perfectly. He was marooned on the treasure island (wink wonk) for two years, and ends up being kind of crazy because of it. He runs into Huey when he's running from the pirates, and tells Huey he's insanely rich and that Scrooge (ik in the book he said Livesey but Scrooge makes more sense in this setting) can come find him if he ever needs to talk about stuff. Huey later ends up taking his boat to get back onto their ship.
Negaduck/Jim Starling as Captain J. Flint-
He's the guy who started this all. It's his treasure that's buried on the island, he's the one who gave Glomgold the map right before Negaduck died. It's most of his old crew who ends up going along on Scrooge's adventure so they can get the treasure for themselves after Flint buried it an didn't tell anyone where.
Gandra Dee as Abraham Grey-
She was one of the crewmates who was initially inducted into the pirate's scheme before she switched sides at the last second to help Scrooge. Ik Grey doesn't really have a big role in the story other than that thing that I literally summed up in one sentence, but maybe Gandra could be given a more important place later on?? I'm not sure.
Black Heron as Israel Hands-
She's a pirate who doesn't play a huge role in this other than when Huey gets back to the ship to take it back from the pirates she's at a low point so she agrees to help him sail it to the north inlet. Once they get the ship beached she tries to kill him, but Huey ends up getting rid of her out of self-defense instead (IDK ABOUT ACTUALLY KILLING HER but y'know if we go by the book it means Huey actually gets to shoot Black Heron 👀). I have to admit she's mostly cast as Hands because there's that one time when Hands climbs up the ropes with a knife in his teeth chasing Huey and if THAT ISN'T THE MOST HERON THING EVER IDK WHAT IS
Mark Beaks as Mr. Arrow-
Yeah he's not an important character, I just think it's funny to have Beaks be the guy who is literally labeled as useless by Beakley the moment she meets him and who also dies by falling overboard before they're even halfway to the island. Like the dude didn't even make it to the first fight.
Okay. Ik what you're thinking at this point. I'm missing a character!! The character who is probably the most important one!! The person who organized the mutiny of the pirates in the first place!! The one who should've been listed right up there next to Huey!! And, I assure you, I'm not. I'm just saving the best for last. 😉
Bradford Buzzard/The Mad Ducktor as Long John Silver-
Yes, yes, I know it makes more sense to just have Bradford as Silver, we don't really need Mads in there. HOWEVER. Silver has been one of my favorite antagonists since I was 7, and Mads is one of my favorite characters of all time now. SO. I'm making this AU even more self-indulgent by throwing him in there as Silver as well. Because I love both of them and I can. AND! BECAUSE!! Silver has a very diverse personality, depending on the situation he's in he can change in an instant to fit whatever works best. So. (that was the tldr, the rest is just further explanation for that) (Oh yeah, they are separate characters still tho they just act as the same character in the au) Bradford is the more cunning side of Silver. He's the one who sets up the mutiny, the one who keeps switching sides to save his skin, the one who is the mastermind behind all of this. The one who comes up with the idea to sneak away with one of the bags of gold in the end, never to be seen again. Mads is the friendlier side of Silver. He's the one who was the nice old innkeeper who was besties with all of his customers, the one who was also best friends with Huey right off the bat, the one who had EVERYONE fooled that there was DEFINITELY NOTHING SUSPICIOUS GOING ON because HOW ON EARTH could someone so friendly be a part of Negaduck's old crew??? He's the one who said he was excited for Huey to get on the island, so he could run through the trees and just feel the life around him. The one who ended up saving Huey from the pirates when they were about to kill him, and the one who even Beakley said she trusted at the beginning. On the other hand, that means he's also the scarier side. The one who threw his crutch at someone so hard it broke his back before immediately leaping on the guy and stabbing him until he died. The one who tied Huey up and angrily yanked him along as they were looking for the treasure. The one who said the rest of the pirates could do whatever they wanted with the good guys when the mutiny happened, as long as Mads got to personally strangle Scrooge (that lines up so perfectly tho 'cause in the book Silver actually says that he wants to wring Trelawney's neck and SCROOGE IS TRELAWNEY AAA). The one who even Captain Flint was terrified of, even though Flint in this story is pretty much the Ultimate Bad Guy who is the reason for all of this happening. IT ALSO WORKS to have Mads as Silver if we're going by my '17 design, who is missing his left hand (instead of his leg like Silver is). He's the pirate who Glomgold told Huey to look out for for him, a chicken with one hand. Because they are the same character they are together a lot, Bradford's the one in charge of everything and Mads essentially works as his enforcer. Which means he's also pretty much Bradford's right-hand man as well. Every time Bradford switches sides to save himself, Mads goes along as well, and because he's the nicer part of Silver he's also the one to smooth-talk everyone into going along with all of Bradford's plans. Soooo yeah, that's it!!! Most of the other characters are just there as themselves, Della and Donald act as Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins with the exception of Donald doesn't die at the beginning and both of them go on the journey as well. Dewey, Louie and Webby are all there too, part of the good guys of course. They could possibly act as Tom Redruth and John Hunter, who were servants of Trelawney's who both ended up dying (THOUGH!! THEY DON'T DIE!! XD). I'm sure there are a few other minor pirates that some other villains line up as. Honestly we could throw in whoever else we wanted as background characters on the journey. Fenton, Duckworth, Gladstone, Lena, Violet, whoever. OH one last thing- I'm thinking of a way to work in Mads' own Lil' Bulb (who I named Blacklight) as Silver's parrot, also named Captain Flint (or Negaduck).

Pls share your thoughts on Huey Duck I would eat them up so fast
Hello yes I would like to talk about him.
Huey's sweet and kind and responsible and everything but I also think sometimes he will be pretty insufferable when he puts on his know-it-all hat and you know what good for him.
On that note; I'm pretty sure while Huey is absolutely a balm on the salty wound left open after having so many gratingly sarcastic and rude characters be the foremost autistic representation in media.... the kid's probably got a mean streak buried somewhere in there next to The Duke. Like I don't think he'd take a hard insult to his intelligence or anyone in his family lying down. And he wouldn't play nice with someone who really deserved a dressing-down I don't think.
I'm talking cutting words. Biting. He's smart, he could have some truly nasty comebacks locked and loaded for whenever a day comes that someone makes him mad enough.
In this interaction,
Tumblr media
Huey says "are you really going to let our family get hurt because you're afraid to get hurt?" And I love it. It's kind of blink-and-you'll-miss-it because the scene immediately turns into a mad dash toward the sounds of lasers firing, but I caught it the other day and it stuck with me.
In moments like these, where a member of the main cast is put in the role of an advisor or counselor, we actually get a glimpse of their own psyche (when it's well-written and in character), as they attempt to transfer what they believe is The Right Thing To Do into the mind of the advisee. In this instance we, briefly, hear Huey speak one of his own core values. He speaks this idea of putting service/care to your family before your own means - before your own goals, discomfort, fears or limitations. Dare I say it's even a little sacrificial?
This message Huey presents is founded upon all of his strongest traits: responsibility, empathy, rationality and maturity. And for that reason (the coolest thing) this message Huey gives to Louie has a subtle through-line from the beginning of the show all the way to the end. Mt Neverrest is a strong example for this message being one of Huey's core values; wherein he instantly abandoned his personal quest to ensure the family's safety. And it pops up in so many little moments upon rewatching episodes.
I just think it's neat.
I think Huey's sadly not as strong a fighter as Dewey or Webby, about on par with Louie most of the time despite his y'know. Internal rage. He's saved by his quick thinking and ability to take advantage of any openings his calculating little science eyes spot.
But I also think branching off from that idea that Huey is a bloody dirty fighter and when I say he "takes advantage" I mean there will be zero hesitation. Sure, he can't fight in long, drawn-out brawls super well because 1 he's a little book boy and 2 he just doesn't have the spirit for fighting. But what he does have is logic - and not a lot of time to plan. So if Logic says that he only has a three fifths of a second to dig his fingers into this undead swordsman's eyes and pull out his optic nerves before he runs somebody through with his deadly sword than. You know. He does that.
And he DOESN'T get wrestling so he'd absolutely get disqualified or something for doing some crazy non-wrestling stunt like idk kicking someone in the throat.
Speaking of sports, we know Huey tried to get into football it seems and oh boy idk if that would have worked out well for him if he was in any position other than being the water boy. He'd either have panicked and gotten trampled or Duked out and gotten suspended..... tbh it more likely would have been the first.
We don't talk enough about how Huey sits at the proverbial "adult's table" in the family a lot of the time. Sure all the kids are treated as equals in skill and value by the adults but Huey's behind closed doors with the grownups, in the finale, the other kids actively being excluded from the planning circle he gets special privilege to be a part of like ISN'T THAT A BIT TOO MUCH RESPONSIBILITY?? He's a child???? Speaking as someone who used to be "the reliable/good/peace-keeping child" of my extended family, it can get pretty isolating being the one the adults trust the most with "important" business. I actually have a fic idea aaaaaaall about this that I started writing a while ago and I really want to finish it some day.
That's about all I could think of for the moment.... I've been dying to talk about some of this stuff, so thank you!

Do you have any HC ideas regarding May and June and their sibling relationship with Webby and the triplets?
Yes!
-Huey, Dewey and Louie already see Webby as their sister and they do start seeing May and June as sisters pretty quickly too. And they do refer to each other as sister/brother and also as cousin which makes total sense to them but makes things ever so confusing to acquaintances who are trying to piece together how this family works. The adults who are all pretty much indiscriminately referring to all six as "my kids" are not helping at all.
-Webby can get very overprotective, almost overbearingly so. When May and June first move in after The Last Adventure it is not that big of an issue because they really are new to everything. But once they get back after a few months out at the sea with Donald and Daisy they are much more independent and can navigate everyday tasks perfectly well so it leads to a lot of frustration when Webby jumps in to help with those as if they're five.
-Dewey is the triplet that takes the longest time to fully adapt to having May and June around. Not because he likes them less than Huey and Louie do, but because he kind of feels replaced. He is aware that this feeling is irrational but it can rear its ugly head if he sees Donald doing something with May and June that was their thing and, if he is in a sour mood, even if he hears someone referring to June as "blue kid", which is kind of his thing. He can lash out at these moments but will realize he was wrong and apologize.
-on a brighter note, Dewey is also May and June's number one guide into the world of pop culture, very supportive of their respective interests. He is also the one who is most likely to get them out of their comfort zones, in a good way, because he doesn't get as overprotective as Webby and is bolder than Huey and Louie.
-Huey takes the general "older sibling" role, which can clash with May's equally responsible personality. When these two type-As don't agree on how something should be organized, it can lead to an argument on the Duck twins' fight scale.
-Huey, however, is also the most patient with them. He is not as overprotective so, unlike Webby who will do things for them, Huey will teach them to do things themselves from day one.
-Louie is actually the one May and June get comfortable around the fastest, aside from Webby. One thing that keeps them a bit weirded out is sarcasm, especially June, though May picks it up very quickly. May and Louie actually get along quite well because when May, who is usually high-strung, needs to unwind she will just sit next to Louie and sew while he is watching TV.
-both May and June end up joining the Woodchucks, much to Huey's delight.
-When fights happen, while sometimes other siblings do "choose sides", depending on how many of them get involved, they usually try to stay impartial. And, when they do "pick sides" it's usually not based on who has been whose sibling the longest. The firts time a fight happens and this becomes clear, May and June are surprised. Basically Dewey acts like a bit of a jerk and June ends up hurt and May expects everyone to side with Dewey but Huey and Louie are like "Yeah, he's our brother, we love him but he was a total jerk today!"
-I think it goes without saying but, if you mess with one of them, you mess with all six!
-They may tease one another about their interests, poke fun, get on each other's nerves, but when it matters and especially as they grow older and mature, they are each other's biggest support.
