Suzanne collins wrote a trilogy where a main media propaganda strategy was to market a horrific act of violence as a love story to distract ppl and then it got adapted into a box office breaking movie and ppl made it all about the love triangle. so then since they didn’t get the point the first time Suzanne collins wrote a prequel story about the main dictator and she makes it so that you as a reader want it to be a genuine love story so badly even tho it’s so very clearly not and instead feels extremely unsettling to make her point even more meta which then gets adapted into another box office breaking film and now ppl are making romantic snowbaird tik toks. do u think she’s gonna write another book that’s somehow even more blatant or just give up and start executing ppl? hard to say but I wouldn’t blame her for the second one

@fabulousglitch posted about how Lena feels about "L" names and it got me thinking about Kara and Lena's family names. It's wild to me how much their family members have pretty much the same names. A(lex)ander. (Alex)andra. Elizabeth. Eliza. Lionel has the -el ending. What is this if not soulmate coded??

The Lex/Alex thing is even crazier because the prefix 'A' negates the word, so Alex is the complete opposite of Lex.

I just don’t get how people can be so mean to some female characters. Like what’s the point of hating on them continuously?

People started calling Kamala crazy and obsessed because she met her idol, she was pretty excited (who wouldn’t BE?!), but when Peter Parker behaved the same way towards Tony everyone was like: “Omg!! He’s such a cute baby🥺🥺 They have a father-son relationship! So cute uwu!”. LIKE???!!!?!

Another example, Starlord singing and dancing in front of the enemy: “Oh my gosh!! So quirky!! Chris Pratt is the best🤣” . Jennifer Walters/SheHulk twerking with Megan Thee Stallion: “Mcu is in shambles” “This is what feminists like” “Cringe”

Again, Jane Foster has been called annoying, bitchy, or USELESS since 2011 (she only an astrophysicist who proved the existence of the einstein-rosen bridge, won a nobel prize, she’s the reason Thor is part of the avengers, and she’s also a cutie, nothing serious.) She was also called evil, you know by who? Fans of the same guy who took New York as hostage killing millions of people, yeah. She’s a bitch because Frigga died defending her, of course!!! You have all the rights to dislike a character, just don’t be sexist and incoherent, it’s easy. Why would you hate women for the same reason you love those men?
