Wait, Daisy wanted to kill herself?! WHAT?! WHY?! I never understood that part.

I assume you mean the classic short "Donald's Dilemma" from 1947? And to this scene:

Let me emphasize right away that it was just an imagination, not a real event and a pure projection, because Daisy Duck lost the only person she loved, and that is Donald Duck. In that classic short, a vase of flowers fell on Donald and he became a different man, even a very talented singer and drove Daisy away from him. Daisy tried to get him back, but to no avail. Donald treated her very coldly. Helpless, Daisy went to a psychiatrist for help and finally realized that she had to hit him with a vase to get him back. And in the end she succeeds and Donald returns to Daisy Duck.

Admittedly, I don't understand why they call it Donald's dilemma, when it's more Daisy's dilemma and it was about her, but I guess they called it that because Donald was much more famous then than Daisy Duck.

And yes, I think this classic short did a good job of showing Daisy's feelings where she wasn't a bitch, as unfortunately it was shown in other classic shorts as well as comics where she behaved worse so I understand why people hate her. But this classic short showed how much Daisy really loves Donald and I wish they would show that in the comics and new cartoons where Daisy would feel guilty and try to get Donald back in any way possible, not Donald. Certainly no scenes with suicides. Although I doubt Disney will ever do that, given the current disastrous state they are in. Maybe comic book artists and writers can do something about it.

Thank you very much! Sorry for not answering you earlier, commitments and other things, but I'm glad about it. More precisely, my birthday is on April 5, if you didn't know, and for the others if they want to know, here's when my birthday is.

Apart from one or two people from another social network, I didn't hear any bad criticism about me and my drawings, although there were tips to do better than before and I thank them for those tips that helped me to do my drawings better. I try as much as I can, and I have a lot of ideas that I want to realize with new drawings, the only problem is that time passes quickly, so you need to plan your time well.

One question. What do you think Disney from America controls European Disney and must be their canon, what's the matter? Is there something they don't like?

Hi and sorry for not answering this question earlier. You have asked a good question, but I am not sure how to answer it through a long essay or through short explanations, although I will answer it this way.

After all, Disney was created in America by Walt Disney and originally they created all the important characters we know, European writers and artists used them in their comics only later, after the Second World War. Back then, there wasn't so much censorship and writers were free to do whatever they wanted without ruining the originality. And so for several decades until the last decade. Romano Scarpa and Guido Martina created separate comics in their own ways, different from Carl Barks and Al Taliaferro and you have an Italian vision through Topolino comics. You also have Dutch, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish writers and artists who, relying on Carl Barks and the American Disney, made comics in their own way and thus created a separate kind of Donald Duck comics. Yes, you also have Brazilian comics who have written a lot of comics especially about Jose Carioca ever since the movie Saludos Amigos from 1942 was shown. And they created those comics in their own way, which is quite different from American comics. Unlike Latin American and European comics, American comics after the 1940s era clearly separated Mickey and Donald so that they neither see each other nor know each other except at times, since they live in different cities, such as Mousetown and Duckburg. American comics, not counting Archie comics, Peanuts, Garfield, and superhero comics, declined after the 1980s because television took precedence, so many watched television, either series, movies, or cartoons instead of reading comics. So Disney comics also experienced a market decline during that period and then you have the making of the OG Ducktales in 1987 which was made mostly by Disney's animation studio in Tokyo, Japan. And since then, the American Disney has not relied on comics, although since the time of Walt Disney, the differences between the canon in cartoons and in comics have been clearly made.

From what I've talked to others, Walt Disney was also unhappy with the popularity of Scrooge McDuck that Carl Barks created, because a different Christmas comic should have been created. However, the American Disney has clearly indicated that the canon in cartoons is the only official canon, while the comic book is not, except in some exceptions, but that's why they force their other productions where they have ownership to obey and respect the given canon that Disney requires. I think since the golden age of cartoons, the story started about how the official Disney can't really stand their comics, even though the comics took Mickey, Donald and other characters to a high level. Many of the characters we know came from comic books rather than cartoons. I'm not saying this for nothing, since your question just stated that since everything is under the Disney name, although they deviated from the path set by Walt Disney, they still determine the main editorial policy for many comics published in Europe and Latin America. Yes, before, as I mentioned, the authors made independently in their own way, but so that Disney didn't even know, but with the arrival of the Internet, that changed and a kind of censorship had to be done. Sometimes due to public pressure, sometimes due to wrong decisions, although I don't like to talk about politics here, but I think that lately politics has had a lot of influence on it, although I will tell you that politics had a lot of influence during the Second World War as well. Propaganda cartoons are very much the case. But in order not to deviate from the topic, I will tell you a couple of examples where American Disney had a lot of influence on European comics and how the writers still had to respect Disney's canon.

Donald Duck had several girlfriends in addition to Daisy and that the earlier Donald Duck fandom preferred Donald with other people rather than Daisy because Daisy was a bitch who treated Donald horribly, although that's not Daisy's fault as much as the writers who over Daisy mocked feminism. Yes, I love when Donald and Daisy fight over stupid things, but not that Donald constantly suffers from Daisy's impossible wishes that never come true and then kicks Donald like that for her displeasure. Disappointed, Donald finds other people who will suit him better. One of the most common examples with whom Donald is on excellent terms is Reginella, the queen of the planet Pacificus, and she appeared for the first time in the comic "Paperino e l'avventura sottomarina" or Donald and the underwater adventures from 1972 by the writer Rodolfo Cimino and the artist Giorgio Cavazzano when Donald first meets Reginella. Reginella became Donald's new hope and their couple was really great in my opinion and so in several comics. Yes, I love the Donald and Daisy romance, but Reginella with Donald is very special to me and I understand why others prefer it over Donald and Daisy.

However, since Disney found out what other comics were doing unofficially, Disney imposed an unwritten rule that their canon must be respected, so Donald must be with Daisy and no one else. So the last comic with Reginella from August 2021 called "L'ultima avventura di Reginella" or The Last Adventure with Reginella by authors Alex Bertani and Vito Stabile and artist Stefano Zanchi is about the breakup between Donald and Reginella because supposedly Scrooge can't more to finance Donald's trip to another planet, and Donald also admitted to Reginella that Daisy is his first and only love. Yes, Daisy has improved a lot in the last comics and treats Donald differently, but again it was really pathetic that something like that had to be done instead of making some kind of deal to make a clone of Donald and stay with Reginella or something like that. It just tells you that official Disney made the decision that way. However, Reginella appears in two more comics after that and has one comic with Daisy, but I haven't read that comic so I can't tell you exactly. Those who are and who know it, would tell you. Although I would like to see Daisy and Reginella together.

Of course the love relationship between Donald and Reginella is not the only one, but I put it as the most common example that Donald is not only with Daisy as the only "canon" girlfriend. You also have romantic relationships Donald with Lyla Lay (Paperinik New Adventures), Xadhoom (Paperinik New Adventures), Kay K (Double Duck), and others. However, in the comic Double Duck "Agent Zero" Kay K admits to Daisy that Donald's greatest love is Daisy and that they are still friends and Daisy was ashamed of that because before she was very jealous that Donald was with someone else and not Daisy. And there you can see that even though Donald is with someone else, he still stays with Daisy, but it is by no means a breakup under Disney's directive as it was done with Reginella.

2. Canceled characters due to certain things

Dutch comics mostly until 2019 and 2020 drew characters from Song of the South such as Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox and Brer Bear and they even had separate comics and were often represented together with Mickey, Donald and friends because they were anthropomorphic characters that also represented classic Disney. Of course, because of the problems in America related to the African-American population, Disney had to stop it and exclude the given characters because they represented caricatures of the African-American population from the South of the 19th century. The South, I mean the South of the USA, where there used to be a Confederacy that seceded and where the Civil War was fought from 1861 to 1865. Of course, they could have just stated that it was a product of its time and that the value system back then was not the same as today's, but no, Disney banned Song of The South and cut those characters out, and those characters never appeared again, in those Dutch comics. Yes, I certainly condemn racism, but one must know that it should be censored in a different way, that is, to send a warning. Warner Bros. did a good job with Looney Tunes where they just said it was a product of its time and we don't make it anymore. In this way, you respect the old materials, and you also respect other people of other races. That is, everyone is satisfied. However, in the Dutch comics, Brer Rabbit is presented differently, after all, Disney takes the lead and they are not interested in excuses.

Not to mention the censoring of two Don Rosa comics because of Bombie the Zombie. Instead of giving a warning that it was the product of a man who created under the influence of Barks and that Disney had nothing to do with it, they simply banned it as if they were ashamed of the past. And you know who is ashamed of the past and simply forgets it, is condemned to repeat it, but worse. But I would not talk about that, because it is too difficult a topic.

3. There are no dark scenes in Disney comics like before

There are no more dark scenes like gun chases, dark and dangerous scenes as well as related to the depiction of women and ladies in a realistic view, because it is certainly not for children according to Disney, even though those comics are also read by adults, nor should there be anything dark related to Mickey and friends, and you have the Mickey Mystery comics where exactly such scenes appear. Mostly done for security reasons. However, due to Disney's recent policy and knowing what the authors of European comics are doing, they had to take a different approach. It is no longer the 1990s where you could have scary scenes like in PKNA and where you would feel sorry for Donald as if you were watching some dark blockbuster movie, yet the American Disney which supposedly has its main rules and its main say to decide what can be done in comics and what not not. And they deny comic book material, which is really ironic. Although I'm more frustrated about these things that Disney is doing lately, I still partially understand the need for censorship, but not to ban certain characters (especially Hiawatha), but you can't show racist caricatures like before, but it certainly doesn't mean that you should ban them to give the content to be displayed and read, because this negates the past, which is a great danger for future generations. Of course, European comic artists and writers approach these problems differently and write differently, but they certainly have the free right to draw and work, but they must adhere to the main canons that Disney sets. One of the reasons why you don't even get to see Donald's parents alive or the father of Donald's nephews appear and if he even exists.

There is a lot to say, but I think this is enough. I also apologize if I offended anyone with some of my comments, as it is not necessarily aimed at anyone except for certain stupid Disney decisions. I may have been vague, so I ask especially those who know Disney comics to correct me if I made any mistakes and feel free to add what you want to say. I hope these answers will help you enough to know why there are no more dangerous scenes in Disney comics like before. Oh, hi. Hmm…good questions, although you asked a little too much. Also, the questions have been changed under the ordinal letters of the alphabet rather than numbers, but never mind. I'm going!

5. (E) My blog started four and a half years ago (next year it will be five years since I've been on Tumblr), mostly out of dissatisfaction, and to join a new collective that has similar interests as me. Interestingly, I joined when it was Donald's 85th birthday. XD Yeah, I already enjoyed the Ducktales reboot back then (even though it disappointed me in a lot of things at the time), I was still sad that no one mentioned the other Duck media, especially when we talk about the comics, Quack Pack, The Legend of The Three Caballeros and I wanted to take that job into my own hands. So I posted various posts about other Donald Duck media and let me tell you, I succeeded in that. Unfortunately, due to numerous obligations related to the university and at home, there were times and often when I was away for a long time. Still, I'm grateful to the Ducktales reboot for reawakening my feelings of nostalgia and re-reading the Donald Duck comics I used to read when I was a little boy.

21. (U) Actually I am, but more that I am a Christian believer and that I believe in God the Creator, as well as in Jesus who saved us from our sins, as well as in the Holy Spirit. Sometimes I study and read the Bible and go to church. But I'm not a fanatical believer, plus I don't force anyone to believe what I believe. Everyone has the right to their own religion. But I don't like it when my faith is abused through bad mockery and attacks on being a believer.

22. (V) I don't know if you mean the person I love or me personally, but I will answer both. I like in a person who is very pleasant and kind, who likes to draw and respect others and someone who is close to me. And I like to draw, read, write, and sometimes ride my bike outside, when the weather is nice.

(W) I don't like it when someone copies me without asking me, without me being mentioned, I don't like it when they insult and when they lie, I especially don't like it when someone insults me in dirty ways, as well as abuses my name as something worst. And I don't like sweet-talking people, I don't like it when someone blocks me, just because we have different views, and I don't like it when someone breaks their promises (either mine or someone else's). And I don't like it when someone insults my religion.

And this particular question, to answer you, I've been drawing since I was young, certainly when I went to school, but I didn't like to draw and I often had terrible drawings. I'm talking about when I drew in the traditional way. I think I have the hardest time painting with water colors. As for drawing itself, and coming back to it, I started four years ago, unfortunately I drew mostly very badly, but over time I learned some methods (and now I practice) and perfected it. If you look at my first drawings and my current drawings, you will see a big difference. I try my best though. Now I need to practice drawing and coloring backgrounds as well as portraits. And as for the ducks, well, I've been watching the classic shorts and reading the comics since I was a kid, but when I was in my teens, I stopped. Yes, I watched a lot of cartoons. In return, the Ducktales reboot is ironically credited, and I've come to love the comics more than before, even collecting those comics. Either online or I buy them. However, I prefer the classics the most, because it is still the best that will always remain. The Legend of The Three Caballeros and re-watching Quack Pack and other cartoons made me even more devoted to ducks.

No problem, feel free to ask.

Although this blog is primarily dedicated to Donald Duck as well as Disney's Duckverse, it also reblogs the things I love.

Well besides that, I'm a huge Looney Tunes fan (especially Daffy Duck) as well as other Warner Bros cartoons, especially Tiny Toons, Animaniacs and Duck Dodgers. And I also like other cartoons like Tom and Jerry, Sponge Bob, Pink Panther, Woody Woodpecker, Droopy Dog, Popeye, Betty Boop, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Snoopy and Peanuts and various cartoons from Disney, Cartoon Network, Hasbro, Nickeledeon, Dreamworks and others.

Of course, I'm also quite fond of comic books. Yes, I love DC and Marvel too, although I'm also more of a fanatic with European comics like Asterix and Obelix, Lucky Luke, Dylan Dog, Alan Ford and others. Unfortunately, I don't know if there are any fans like that on Tumblr besides me. Yes, I like manga as well as anime, but I'm not that much of a fanatic. My favorite is definitely Dragon Ball.

Yes, I'm a fan of many classic movies as well as I'm a fan of fantasy, especially mythology, folktales and Tolkien.

I keep all of that in mind to reblog gradually, although I'm focusing more on Donald, since he's my favorite character.

Adult Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck as astronauts as Apolo 11 Crew (Neil Armstrong, Edwin Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins) - Space Race - Ducktales 2017 - Ducktales in Space

Since I drew Donald Duck as Yuri Gagarin and Della Duck as Valentina Tereshkova as the first men in space, then the parallel of the first men on the moon could have something to do with Huey, Dewey and Louie from Ducktales 2017. And I drew the three of them as Apollo 11 astronauts who were the first to walk on the moon (allegedly), but here they are no longer children, but adults. I don't usually draw adult Huey, Dewey and Louie, so this is my first time doing it and I did it with the Ducktales 2017 version, but in my own style. Yes, I redraw the poses of astronauts Neil Armstrong, Edwin Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins who led the Apollo 11 crew in the Saturn V rocket from July 16 to July 24, 1969, with July 20 and 21 being Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon and were the first people to walk on the moon and brought great pride to the USA and to all mankind.

And this is where Huey, Dewey and Louie grew up, playing the role of the Apollo 11 crew and who will be the first ducks to walk on the moon. Yes, although they are different, they all together have their tasks in space. Huey as an explorer of new unknown frontiers and a scientist, Dewey as a pilot and coordinator and Louie as a businessman who finances it all, but they are all astronauts together. Like like their mother and like their uncle. And they are in spacesuits (Apollo/Skylab spacesuit) which are mostly white, but I colored some parts according to them.

Huey, Dewey, Louie and Phooey Duck watch the solar eclipse in Duckburg - My redraw - Ducktales 2017 - Quack Pack Reboot - Happy birthday to them!

I drew for the Solar Eclipse that was in America these days as well as posting for the birthdays of Donald's nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck plus Phooey Duck, who usually celebrate on April 15th.

By the way, a solar eclipse occurs when the moon, which is in its youth phase, goes towards the earth's surface and is located between the sun and the earth and covers the sun with its body, and thus a solar eclipse occurs. Astronomy. And they mostly happen in rare moments, but they still cause a great effect in people and for many it can be a turning point, sometimes in the negative, sometimes in the positive, although unfortunately more in the negative. However, many people who are waiting for a solar eclipse look forward to it and wear glasses to protect against it, because the solar eclipse causes a large effect of glare from the Sun. And it all takes a few minutes.

So I drew Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, from Ducktales 2017, but in my version of them as I imagine them, by wearing their own kind of suit, but all wearing jeans and backwards baseball caps together. To make them look more cool, of course. And they're wearing eclipse glasses and enjoying it, and there's their fourth brother Phooey Duck, who I drew in a mix between the Ducktales reboot version and my version. And behind them is the Money Bin as it looks in Ducktales 2017 and on the side of the drawing I drew some sort of solar eclipse as it looks like. Yes, this is how I imagine them in my Quack Pack reboot version as well, if it was a sequel to Ducktales 2017. Yes, there are real teenagers here, because they act like it. Donald Duck as cosmonaut as Yuri Gagarin and Della Duck as cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova - Tribute to Space Race and gift for my friend - Ducktales 2017

I wouldn't have even drawn this, if this wasn't intended as a gift for a friend of mine who really likes ducks in space adventures and spacesuits.

I drew this on the occasion of the anniversary of when the first man, Yuri Gagarin, went into space on April 12, 1961, with the Vostok 1 rocket, and since then the journey of man in space begins. And I drew Donald Duck as a redraw from the comic cover of Topolino comics from 2015, drawn by Alessandro Perina, in which Donald Duck is like Yuri Gagarin, but in the then Soviet spacesuit (Vostok 1 spacesuit). Yes, I drew it to be close to Ducktales 2017 style, but in my own style, since I think somehow Ducktales 2017 suits that kind of space action. Yes, behind Donald you can see the rockets and aircraft of the Vostok program, as well as the planet Earth. By the way, the surname Gagarin means wild duck, so it is not surprising that the first man in space was a duck. XD

The next drawing is a redraw of Della Duck as Valentina Tereshkova, who flew in space around planet Earth on June 16, 1963 in the Vostok 6 rocket and became the first woman in space. Yes, I have a bit of a problem to draw Della Duck as a whole in a spacesuit, so I just sketched her, and somehow it fits her role to be like Valentina, and Della always wanted to be an astronaut, otherwise the word astronaut means a star sailor so it does matter that Donald is an astronaut too. Such a brother, such a sister. Behind it you can see the Vostok program rocket as well as the stars and the crescent moon. By the way, both Donald and Della, like Yuri and Valentina, wear the USSR mark in Cyrillic on their space helmets, since they are from the Soviet Union (Yuri Gagarin was born on March 9, 1934 and was the first man in space, while Valentina Tereshkova was born on March 6, 1937 and was the first woman in space). And Della is in Ducktales 2017 style, but in my own way.

Ducktales Crew in spacesuits on the Moon in space - Ducktales Adults in spacesuits on the Moon in space - Ducktales Kids and Teenagers in spacesuits on the Moon in space - Ducktales in Space (AU) -Tribute to Ducktales 2017

I usually have all kinds of complaints about Ducktales 2017, but I still did what I should have done before, and that was to realize the idea of Ducktales in space and that at the request of my friends and followers. So I'm going to publish these drawings (even three, with the other two being connected) related to Ducktales with a crew traveling through space, that is, an adventure with no return, starting with the Moon, which is Earth's satellite, not a planet. And yes, there is no Gyro's Oxy-chew invention in my headcanon at least as far as Ducktales in space is concerned. Yes, although you have seen my previous drawings about it, you can know what it is about.

The first drawing (second in line) is actually my drawing for my friend from Deviantart as a redraw of his drawings where I linked on one plus added my own characters. Ducktales characters mostly wear spacesuits inspired by the game Quantum Space Chase flash game where Huey, Dewey and Louie travel through space in their spacesuits each in their own color of course plus added the Communication Carrier Assembly (CCA) (what astronauts usually wear) and helmets with their bags with oxygen. I don't need to say why. It is one perspective of space adventures with that I used more about DT17 combined with classic style.

The second and third drawings (first, third and fourth respectively) show the Ducktales gang walking on the moon in space, in their spacesuits. With the fact that I used the model for these space suits as inspiration mainly from cartoons and comics, above all from Sandy Cheeks from Sponge Bob who wears a space suit as an underwater suit, so in addition to a space suit, it can also be used as an underwater suit and as a protective suit from various diseases and volcanic eruptions. Of course, this is an invention of Fenton and Gandra, in my headcanon. So, almost everyone wears a similar version of a spacesuit, visible helmets and oxygen bags, except for Scrooge who wears a Mark V Rig underwater suit but like a spacesuit (he prefers the old clothes) and Daisy who wears a retro sci-fi spacesuit (modeled after modeled after sci-fi films and comics from the 1950s and 1960s). And almost everyone is happy, except Gyro, since his invention is not being used. Yes, I drew this in my own way, using more of a classic style, but definitely based on the DT17 character models. With the fact that such spacesuits could be used not only for the Ducktales reboot version, but also in general.

So in these drawings are Donald and Daisy Duck, Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera, Gandra Dee, Scrooge McDuck, Gyro Gearloose, Della Duck, Launchpad McQuack, Drake Mallard, Bentina Beakley, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, Phooey Duck, Kabooie Duck ( Donald's fifth lost nephew who wears the color brown), Gosalyn Mallard, Webby Vanderquack, Lena De Spell (Sabrewing), Violet Sabrewing, May and June Duck, and Boyd Gearloose.

Yes, and this is my gift to all Ducktales 2017 fans and space travel fans, as well as my belated tribute to the sixth anniversary of Ducktales, but most of all as a gift to my friends, @ducksinspaceadventure , @ducktales-and-ducks and @secret-tester. I hope you like these drawings and you like these ideas. Who knows, maybe they'll travel to Mars or Alpha Centauri afterwards.
