Hi! I just wanted to say thank you so much for organizing all of your AUs. You put so much thought and effort into that and reading them all made me realize that when I’m writing I can just…do what I want. If I want an AU that’s fun or sad or outlandish I can do it, because at the end of the day I’m writing for myself and it doesn’t matter how many alternate timelines I have if I like them.

Two things. First your fics has contributed to the BATB brainrot I gained after watching it on Disney + lmaooo. Second, I love how you constantly bring attention to how much Adam and Maurice support/love Belle. Adam wanting to give the world to his darling Belle after everything she's done for him and the castle staff. Maurice loving his free-spirited daughter unconditionally and always thinking about her dreams and happiness even if it puts him in harm's way with people like Gaston during the forest and mob scene. She's a one of a kind lady and they both know it. (PS. I'm a sucker for good fathers in media and Maurice is a top two Disney dad and he ain't number two 😭) .

And Ooh!! I'd love to see where you could go with it! If ur looking for a potential reaction I might have a few? (Adding them... now: 1) Pretender kinda like, melts a lil. When he's emotional he kinda loses his shape and sinks into that purple mist, so I could totally see him just kinda getting flustered and literally deflating for a sec before popping back up with a stuttered little surprised response. 2) He's definitely Blushing, but doesn't like, react very obviously. More of a, "Well, that's a first!" Followed by a cheeky, "Usually I try to eat a human's face, not the other way around.... Not that I'm complaining!" Or something with a stupid lil grin and a wink, before he continues conversation. 3) "You sure know how to greet a new pal!" As he kinda squints at them and goes, "So, do I get a name to match the kiss?" Looking flustered for sure, but low-key smug as he jokes to cover his loss of composure. These would just depend on how competent u think he'd be in the face of a Random Wonderful Smooch hehe...) And those are just loose ideas? I'm actually not sure how he'd react to romance yet, if only because I haven't written him in that situation often enough yet hehe! U got him p spot on tho, so take any or none of these as guidance if you want! (And if not this was still a fun chance to write him some dialogue lol---)

they carry their own knife out of pure habit on the off need they have to defend themself (and it’s a TOY KNIFE, but it makes them feel safer and quiets their anxiety)

and that FUCKING SCARES PEOPLE.   even tho their knife is 100 % a toy, the fact that this 10-year-old kid carries a knife everywhere (aside from presumably they’re not permitted to have it at school even under the guise of “I brought my favorite toy to class”) just sets people on edge.

not only that, they’ve been told they’re a demon pretty much from the day they were old enough to understand words.   YEARS they’ve been told they’re this inherently scary THING instead of just a kid, and other humans’ reaction reinforces it

BUT LO IS NOT SCARED OF THEM

not for any reason

she just accepts the ‘scary’ parts of them for what they are : a traumatized child who’s been told lies and needs someone to look at them LIKE THEY’RE A NORMAL KID

not even them sassily brandishing a real ass knife at their older sibling is enough to scare her, because she knows they’re not gonna DO ANYTHING and that they don’t actually want to hurt other people despite all their talk about hating humanity

she’s seen their terrifying parts, and it doesn’t scare her, AND THEY DIDN’T KNOW HOW GRATEFUL THEY WERE TO HAVE SOMEONE OUTSIDE THEIR FAM WHO ISN’T SCARED OF THEM UNTIL THEY HAD HER
