Wait, WAS Tony even trying to make Iron Man anything like him? Like yes in the “the best parts of me are in Iron Man” kinda way, but he’s so focused on making him GOOD, would he even expected for there to be any identity crisis' from either the Robot or his friends? His friends who feel like they know Iron Man somehow? Like, we know can make (when he has the tech) basically a 1:1 version of himself he makes an alcoholic and everything, but that wasn’t the goal here but he left some of his soul behind

Like how sometimes a writer or artists pours so much of their heart and soul into a work and people see it and are like, oh it’s you! And no, the poem/painting/character/song is not about/is them, it’s a universal thing! But no it's them oops. Like the artist thinks, no I would know if it’s a self portrait, but the face you know best is usually your own and oops you gave every character your own nose.

i think he was intending for iron man to be like... enough of him to continue doing his work. like building things. to keep the suit in repair, to keep upgrading it. i think he'd want him to be close to him, just so that he knows that like... iron man is going to have the same drive to keep being iron man that tony did.

i also think that like, you need to start from something, and the something he has on hand is... himself.

i dont think a lot of it is intentional, in that i do not think tony would've made the AI exactly like him, or tried to make it too much like him (see: not putting in the alcoholism like he does when he is Just making an AI of himself) i think he can't help but put in enough of his own values that... it does turn out like him. he's the one making it. of course it turns out like him.

i think.... honestly i think a lot of the consequences that the AI faces due to being what he is are things that tony just. did not have the time or bandwidth to consider. he was dying. he did die. he had the time to make sure that the thing he considered most important could continue on.

but yeah!!! there is definitely Something his friends notice, about him being similar to tony. i don't think it ever crosses their minds that, like, they're the same person (kind of, again, not really) because, like, iron man was at tony's funeral. but there is this kind of quite... awkwardness. about this man who maybe knew their friend better than they ever did. who knows things about him that no one else does.

and yeah!!! there are issues about it, but it isn't like tony intended any of it. which is almost worst, in a way. there isn't anyone to blame. it's no one's fault. no one intended for this ai to turn out like how he did. the way he is isn't anyone's fault.

it's just how he is.

Still wild to me that Enstars has 51 characters that are pullable cards, with everyone have a few 5☆ cards each with the wildest odds imaginable.

While TWST has 22, Nightbringer with 12, and IkePri at 13. All three of which, give me the shittest pulls imaginable.

I think those guys need to fix their odds game, cause goddamn they're making me embarrassed to even try any more, bro-

Summary: In which you are gatekept by a tsum...

Additional Note: I'm just gonna write some lil scenarios about tsums as I cry into my pillow about my monkey brain.

You woke up to a weight on your chest. With how much this happens you aren’t alarmed, though you thought it was either Grim or Ace. Looking down however you saw that it was in fact Sebek taking a nap on your chest. The little guy was just snoozing away, a little twitch in his legs every so often.

You were surprised honestly, Sebek never lets you get anywhere near him let alone abandon his duty, so for him to not be around Malleus and passed out on you was enough to wake you up completely. Though you were glad, he doesn’t rest as much as he should. Such a dutiful little man.

You started stroking his back, watching how his face showed a look of content. So cute, what little lad.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Angry squeaks could be heard as Sebek aggressively yelled at Ace and Deuce. He didn’t leave even when he woke up, no he instead perched on your shoulder and huffed in pride as if it was an accomplishment. From there he warded of any tsums that got too close, he even yelled at Crowley. Of course, Malleus and Lilia were exceptions and sometimes Silver.

You sighed heavily before removing Sebek from your shoulder making him stop squeaking instantly. You held him up to the sky, watching him deflate in shame.

“Sque-kekekkek. (Oh looks like Sebek is in sky jail, fufufufu.)” Lilia squeaked to Malleus who only solemnly nodded.

"You are not escaping mister. Don't even try it." You muttered as you held him up. Sebek squeaked angrily.

Have you reviewed mr rime? He’s one of my fav regional evos; makes mr mime into a cute lil guy

As a certified Mr. Mime enjoyer(TM), I'm a huge fan of Mr. Rime. "Mr. Mime evo that becomes Charlie Chaplin" is simply something I never knew I needed in my life but I'm so glad we got.

Thematically, going from Galarian Mr. Mime's tap-dancer theme to Charlie Chaplin's Tramp character makes logical sense. You could argue over whether or not this being a regional evo was necessary, but in this case I think the theme and the ice-based cane and shoes justify it enough, even if it's a shame that regular Mr. Mime gets left in the dust a bit. (Also side note: shoutout to whoever on the translation team came up with the "Mr. Rime" pun.)

The second face is appropriately silly (and likely is based off of the haradashi yokai, which also changes and has a face on its stomach). One of my favorite things about Mr. Rime is that the second face isn't just markings—the eyes on its stomach blink, as well as change expression. It's so bizarre that I can't help but love it.

And design-wise, this lad is delightful. The little mustache's shape is paralleled by the hair on the head, which also references the same hair G. Mr. Mime sports. Likewise, the shape of the "tux" parallels similar markings on G. Mr. Mime, and ties back into its icy, well, tie. The triangle nose becomes the mustache, and I think it's neat that the "hat" basically just covers its bald spot. It basically has its own unique design, but there's enough there to see how it continues from G. Mr. Mime.

The yellow spots draw attention to the two sets of eyes, while the red helps draw attention to the second face specifically. There's a good blend of blue, dark bluish purple, and light blue found in the rest of the design as well. I also appreciate the ice cane and shoes, as it works as a visual indication of the new typing that wouldn't be clear otherwise. The vaudevillian aspects are obvious, and this guy just oozes personality, even when not animated.

Overall, this is a 10/10 for me. Great concept, ties back into the pre-evo both thematically and visually, and has a ton of personality. You guy, funky little man.

Can we just appreciate Crowley this season? He's so pretty and he was so happy and so very ADHD coded and he was so protective of Azi and it was adorable. I love him. He's so...a h. I just wanna put him in my pocket and hold him forever. He deserves the universe and more. I just want him and Aziraphale to be happy. hello !!! sorry this is v random but i just got into enstars recently and i was wondering about that funky little mika guy . just in general . seknots-izumimir said ur absolutely insane about him (compliment) and to go ask u about it so 🧍‍♂️

LMFAOOO my MikaP slay when I get rec'd as the person to ask ab Mika.

In general? I'll keep this relatively bare, in that case, so you don't feel overwhelmed :3

Mika is just a lil guy. A lil dude. His full name is Mika Kagehira, the "Mika" is written in hiragana (he disliked it bc it was "feminine", a different character compared him to Michelangelo for it, etc etc), and his last name is written as 影片 - "shadow fragment". He grew up in an orphanage where he is heavily implied to have been parentified (he speaks often about being in charge of "taking care of the lil ones" when explaining why he's good at doing household chores or taking care of others). There are a few stories where he mentions his parents, and his bio even states "parents" in his bio, but he has a lot more moments where he implies he was never actually adopted, so it's kind of up in the air, but I lean towards "never adopted" bc it comes up more often and in situations he is less likely to lie in. (Like, he mentions parents when he talks to the MC, but the entire tone of that conversation was him being lowkey annoyed with her prying, whereas when talking to his unitmate whom he idolises, he mentions stuff like "at one point I stopped wanting to be adopted" and "you know I can't meet my parents even if I wanted to").

Anyway. He speaks the Kansai dialect, and I talked a lot about how beautifully they subvert the "country accent = idiot" trope with him, but in short, he does call himself stupid, but he is actually kind of a genius. He met his unitmate, Shu, when they were kids, and idolised him since then. He enrolled into Yumenosaki just because he wanted to see Shu again. Yumenosaki has famously difficult entrance exams - that he was able to pass. He also found a copy of the Mabinogion, as it was an English manuscript, it was very likely written in Middle English, and he went and read it using only a dictionary. I could barely even read parts of Canterbury Tales, and I'm, like, fluent. Anyway. He joined Valkyrie when he was a 1st year💅 Although back then, Nazuna was also a member, but along came the War and uh. I suggest reading Reminiscence * Marionette bc it's really good :)

After Shu's execution (which is to say, when Valkyrie's reputation was killed on-stage, Nazuna left the unit and Shu had a mental breakdown), Valkyrie became inactive. While Shu was recovering, Mika was the one taking up odd jobs to keep Valkyrie afloat, as well as taking care of Shu. He's a hardworking lad :] He had a tsundere phase that I feel we don't talk often enough about, but when he was a 2nd year is when the story begins and the player character arrives - due to her association with Trickstar and fine (?), Shu didn't trust her and often said things like, "We don't need a producer" to get her to fuck off. Mika took up the same attitude of calling her an enemy of Valkyrie, but he also very obviously wanted to befriend her, so you're left with some hilarious scenes. Such as in Toy Box, when he was doing a part-time job washing the dishes, and the Producer tries to talk to him because he was there sobbing about his money problems. I have these lines burnt in my memory because of how funny they were to me, but he starts off by saying, "oh, you want me to tell you my problems so you can find my weakness, huh, you fiend?!", then he gets startled and almost drops a plate - says he could have "started hating you for real", and quickly adds, "not that i'd have a problem with hating you". He warms up to you later, though, and by the current timeline, will often offer you candy :) Because he's normal and alwaysss carries candy on him. He likes fruity flavours :]

Anyway. His character development is really neat. During the start of the story, he was pretty much a doll to be manipulated, he let Shu control him and all he did, and he didn't mind it as Nazuna did, in fact he was very happy to play into this role. But as of the current stories, they're both developing past that, with Shu becoming more open to accepting his opinions and individuality, and Mika learning to be more independent and assertive. In Hermitage, he changes the entire concept of a new song very last-minute, which is something he would never have dared to do in the early stories, for example.

I think that's like. The biggest things about him? So for more minor lil fun facts - he has a lower sense of pain and will often not realise if he's pricked himself while sewing (he's also pretty good at sewing! The wikia has a section for clothes he's made), he makes art that leans into eroguro and grotesque (he's also a big fan of horror! He and Ritsu watch horror movies together, and he has a collection of scary posters and images he puts up in his room, apparently to sleep better, whatever he meant by that). He's blind as a bat in the dark <3 He has a twin sister that was featured in Ensemble Girls! They've met in an enstars story, Milky Way, but they didn't know they were siblings, however in EnGirls, she mentions having met her brother. EnGirls takes place during the current year of enstars, so i'm hoping for a crossover story. And you'll immediately notice he's the token heterochromia character - he actually used to hate his eyes and would blame them for why he was abandoned as a child. He had some form of social anxiety for a while where he was too scared to look people in the eye or talk to people at all for fear of his eyes "creeping them out". But he's still very anxious about going on radio and talk shows🫶 Another way of subverting the trope for his dialect, and directly mentioning it, is that people expect him to be extroverted and funny because of the way he speaks (Kansai is the dialect spoken by manzai comedians), and he feels that he disappoints people by being an introvert because of that. (And this is why i headcanon him calling himself stupid as an act - he can't make himself funny or extroverted, but he can make himself seem stupid, which plays into the stereotype, to "avoid disappointing people") Magazines describe him as cool, mysterious and "frail-looking".

My Trailblazer is officially one of the Nameless now too lol (literally has no name yet). I’m gonna do full body outfit for them too soon but that’ll take awhile and I wanna post what I have rn so :>

(Hh also I realized after that I’d accidentally given Nameless Aether’s hair which RIP me. Egg on my face. Uhm I’ll just never style his hair like Aether’s — pretend it’s unique for me pls /lhj I just didn’t know whether to give them hair in between length or longer than and this was the easiest middle ground)

this is just a lil smth I decided to do for fun bc I, as a funky little artist enby, wanted someone more of my stature (I love caeleus but he’s kinda tall and that intimidates me) and also I just generally like NB and GN mc’s, they’re nice <3 The Nameless NB will LIKELY be who I draw in the future in place of either canon Trailblazer’s for most things — but don’t quote me on that. I may just feel like doodling one of the other two for fun but we’ll see !

P.S. NO one asked but I named my Trailblazer (I keep almost sating Traveler) Shingetsu which means New moon, Heart moon, spirit perfection, or enlightenment of the mind and I’m so proud of that name for him, I love Shingetsu v much he’s a lad! I’d’ve used it for the Nameless MC but it doesn’t fit the naming conventions of Stelle and Caelus who have names of… Latin origin, I believe, while Shingetsu is Japanese.

And P.S.S I say Nameless NB a lot bc it’s catchy but I’m sticking w ambiguity for their gender - I’m always gonna use they/them (unless i fuck up) but anyone can use anything for them! And if you wanna use their design please credit me or I’ll be upset!

and if im being honest,,, i really think youd know better than me tbh. i dabble in noir and old movies but you seem to be the more knowledgeable of us on the subject. for the au hybrid game i leaned towards 20s. roaring 20s baby ya got the speakeasys and prohibition and all that criminal jazz that jack just seeps into like a second skin despite desperately wanting out of it - meanwhile daveys trying to keep his head above that criminal underbelly because the only way he believes he can succeed is by playing the hand hes dealt. but thats just me - im not too familiar w the 40s outside of gene kelly and hitchcock movies, and the 30s is a blank spot for me. like i said i really only dabble (but i do wanna get more into it so yknow. if anyone has any recs!)

as for katherine, yeah, wholeheartedly agree, shes a bit of both. the industry of journalism means nothing to her; its the purpose that counts. so if she stumbles across something big and all her higher-ups and bosses just tell her to drop it and forget about it like a good girl, shes not fucking doing that. shes going to davey and jack. separately, i assume; she has no idea that they might know each other at all, she's just casting a wide net on who might give her answers. but again - you'd know more than me fhshsb. hope this helps you in any way man :) your detective noir davey is my special lil guy forever. love that dude.

The Puppet and his Vampire (Lies of P fic)

Synopsis: The more Pinocchio desires to become human, the more he begins to realize that he has deeper feelings for Emilie than he thought.

Warnings!: OC x character, fluff, comfort, romance, drinking blood (bc vampire), just P being a curious lad, oneshot, not proof-read, mediocre writing

A/N: it is 3 am and i have been working on this fic for hours. i am a lil delusional and i'm certain it's not properly edited. if there's anything a lil funky, i apologize. also this is about my lies of p oc, emilie delisle. i might make some p x reader stuff at some point, because i realize i probably should indulge my fellow lonely hopeless romantics. but tonight is not that night. i'm tired and i'm gonna go to bed once this is out. have a nice night/day/afternoon/whenever y'all.

Their partnership began simply because Emilie had nothing better to do. She'd been stuck in the hotel since the plague broke out, spending all her time making sure Antonia was okay for however long she had left in her twilight years. So traveling with the puppet was a welcome change for the vampire, who initially did not care what Pino's mission was... until she realized what Geppetto had planned for him thanks to Romeo's efforts, at which point she actually began to care more and more about his safety.

To have someone who really cared about him and even fought alongside and for him was... different. He appreciated the way she did everything she could to keep him safe, taking on any enemy that was too strong for him and even learning from Eugenie how to work on him when they were traveling. It was nice to have someone who wanted the best for him, even if he didn't believe her when she claimed that Geppetto wasn't a good guy here.

As Pinocchio became more human, he began to realize that he felt differently about Emilie than he did about the others in the hotel. Whenever they traveled together, or whenever he saw her in the library, he could feel and even hear his mechanical heart beat faster, and he even began to feel nervous around her. Since P had learned to speak, he always spoke clearly and correctly... but he had a habit of stuttering and stumbling over his words, as if he'd forgotten how to speak to the elven vampire. It was embarrassing, an emotion he'd learned from Antonia when he'd asked her about it.

Now he wanted to understand this strange new feeling he had every time he saw the stubborn vampire. He needed to know why he felt this way, and if it was something unique to her, or if it was something he could feel for others as well.

The puppet entered the library and began to search the shelves for a book that would make things clearer for him. As he searched for the right book to shed light on this new emotion, he noticed the familiar vampire lying on the couch, reading a book without a care in the world. Normally at this time Emilie would be looking after Antonia, making sure she was okay and had everything she needed, but Polendina had clearly taken over that role for the day to give the vampire a break.

The woman was reading a book that P had never seen before, a glass of what was so clearly blood sat on the end table that Emilie had moved closer to it so she wouldn't have to twist too much to reach it. There was a lantern next to the glass, providing a dim light for the vampire as she casually read her book. Her usual outfit had been swapped for a loose-fitting black lace-up top and black pants, her hair in a braid to keep it more under control as she took the time to relax.

"Staring isn't very polite, puppet boy." Emilie commented, lowering her book to make eye contact with the puppet who had been staring at her for an inordinate amount of time. The moment her glowing amber eyes met his, his eyes widened slightly in surprise and his heart began to beat faster in response to the sudden eye contact as he stared at her before struggling to speak.

"I... I apologize, Lady Emilie." he said, as soft spoken as ever, as the vampire placed her bookmark in the book before setting it aside to pick up her glass and sit up, sipping from it.

"Is there anything I can help you with?" she asked, keeping her eyes on him, following his every move out of habit. Even though she trusted that he wouldn't do anything to harm her, she was still overly cautious after more than a century of being tormented and hunted by monster hunters and vampire slayers. The puppet fidgeted a bit where he was standing before he walked over to the couch and sat down, keeping a distance between them so he wouldn't accidentally crowd her like he sometimes did unintentionally.

"I seem to have... found a new emotion," he admitted as the vampire raised a brow with an affectionate smile and hummed. "I don't know what it means, though. And I was hoping the library would have the answers." he added as she nodded and sipped her drink again.

"Well, maybe I can be of some help." she offered, setting down her glass and resting her hands in her lap as she watched his face to gauge his reaction. He looked at her for a moment before nodding and moving closer to her.

"When I'm around you, my... heart pounds and I get nervous," he explained while the vampire sat up straight, completely intrigued by what he was about to say. "It becomes hard to concentrate on other things and I want to spend every moment with you. It's... extremely confusing." he finished before she chuckled and crossed her arms.

"Sounds like you're in love." she commented, causing his eyebrows to furrow.

"Love...?" he asked quietly and she nodded.

"Love." she confirmed. "It's a hard feeling to really explain, especially since I personally have never felt it." she shrugged as Pinocchio tilted his head.

"You've never felt love?"

"Not like you," she admitted, crossing her arms and picking up her glass again. "It's awfully sweet that you think so highly of me." she added with a smile, sipping her drink again as he stared at her for a long moment before moving closer and speaking again.

"Why have you never been in love?" he asked, causing her to choke slightly as she stared at him in surprise at the question. She shouldn't be so surprised anymore, because ever since he started talking, he asked as many questions as he could. It was both endearing and annoying.

The vampire cleared her throat as she put down her glass, trying to think of the right answer that wouldn't stress him out. She had never been the right person to ask such interesting and often delicate questions, being the extremely brash and reckless woman that she was.

"Because... I find it hard to be vulnerable with others," she began while he tilted his head. "One big factor of love that I have learned through my many years of living is that love requires vulnerability and trust... which is difficult for me because I haven't had many that I trust that much."

"But what about Lady Antonia?" he asked, drawing a laugh from the vampire.

"Antonia is like my sister. The love she and I share is the kind that family members have," she explained. "But take Polendina, for example. He loves Antonia very much, if there's anyone you should talk to about love, it's him."

"Do you... trust me?" Pinocchio asked softly, his voice barely above a whisper, as if he were afraid to ask. The vampire blinked a few times in surprise at the question she hadn't seen coming.

"Of course I do." she assured him before she sighed. "Love is a lot more complicated than just trust, Pino." she said as he sulked and huffed.

"Love sounds difficult..." he muttered, earning another laugh from the woman.

"Sounds like you're finally getting the hang of it." she teased playfully, patting his arm. "I wish I could offer more help, P... but I'm not very good at this sort of thing." she said with a shrug as he looked up at her again, studying her closely before closing the distance between them and pressing his lips to hers, surprising her when her eyes widened and she stared at him in shock for a moment. She slowly raised a hand to his face and returned the kiss, closing her eyes as she melted into him.

It had been so long since she'd been kissed that she'd almost forgotten how good it felt to be kissed. Especially when the kiss was as soft and gentle as this one, one that made her feel truly cared for. She wrapped her arms loosely around his neck as he moved closer, resting his Legion hand gently on her waist, their lips beginning to move in sync as the kiss began to heat up.

"Lady Emilie." Polendina announced as the couple hurriedly pulled away, both of them looking toward the door to see an exasperated butler standing in the doorway. Emilie smiled nervously at the puppet and moved away from P before standing up and grabbing her glass. "Lady Antonia has requested your presence...but if you are too busy, I can tell her you will visit later." he said sarcastically as the vampire shot the butler an irritated glare.

"Don't start with me." she growled, looking at Pinocchio and noticing how embarrassed he looked at having been caught. She couldn't help but smile at the way he looked, as if he were guilty for just indulging his feelings for her. She leaned over the back of the couch and planted a small kiss on his cheek, surprising the puppet when he looked at her with wide eyes. Since Artfight's coming to a close, I figure I might as well do what I did last year and post a few of the other attacks I managed to complete!

Honestly my mental health has taken a bit of a plunge over this past month, so I wasn't really up to drawing as much as I usually do. But I am happy with the pieces I did get done, and I hope you guys do too! <3 Though since I'm also now pretty sure I'm coming down with something, I might not be as active for a bit. Just gonna take a bit of time to reevaluate things in my life and try not to stress about art as much. I will hopefully be back soon, but I just thought I'd give you guys a heads up. ^^

Onto the actual art though, we've got a funky lil feline is named To-Telos, and he belongs to freakeddiscord on Artfight! <3 A revenge piece since they drew my gal Mist, so it was only right to hit 'em back with some art of their funky lad! He's apparently a demonic beast with multiple faces, and I just thought it was really fun! xD Next is Bunny, since my bestie and I have been discussing Sonic again and that's been on my mind. So as soon as I saw her, I just KNEW I had to draw her! x'D She's just got such a cute design! She belongs to shortcakeys on Artfight. And finally is Vi, and with my love of pastels and doggos, there was NO way I wasn't gonna draw her! xD Lookit all that floof! She belongs to Dandybadger on Artfight.

what's dimitri known for, like does he have a title he goes by, or what do people think of him?

OOOOO THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME AN EXCUSE TO MENTION HIS CHEESY ALIAS HAHAHAA

Well in his background basically he went from a common thief who stole to live, to working for this big crime organization/family thing called The Weavers, where he slowly made his way up the ranks and became a favorite of The Broodfather, who was the head of the Weavers. (There’s…. A lot more Stuff going on with Dimitri’s relationship to that guy, but that’s another story). Anyways, I’m not sure exactly what the extent of his jobs would be, but I imagine he mostly just stole shit for the Broodfather and did whatever odd shady jobs were asked of him.

He did gain a little bit of a reputation in that city, becoming known as the Magpie (a name that I totally just chose very self indulgently on a whim and still think is slightly cringe but I also love it, okay, it suits him), basically just acting as a public nuisance and mischief-maker. He hasn’t gone by that name in a while though, ever since he became a disciple of Loki.

Overall though, as badass and experienced as I imagined him to be when I was first creating him, Dimitri honestly isn’t that cool 😂😂 He’s a bit of an Izzy-type character in that way, where he isn’t quite as cool and notorious as he thinks he is or wants to be. I like to imagine that he is a bit more dangerous than some may take him for, or maybe he was more well known in the past, but when it comes to the people he’s actually met so far in the campaign, everyone just kinda takes him as your average petty thief. He’s just a sort of rascally, self-interested bastard to be honest.

And like, nobody in my party actually knows who he works for yet (as far as their characters, the real human players obviously know), so nobody has any idea that while they’re just fighting your average pirates and monsters and whatever on the main quest, Dimitri is over here having daily interactions with literal GODS. 😂

Got a bit rambly there, but yeah, he probably needs a bit more filling out in his backstory to totally answer that question but ye :)) He’s just a funky lil sneaky lad :) and the whole Magpie thing is important….. to the Angst….. a lil…
