My new corner at our home office. I brought a lot of things from UK (loving this 9 3/4 backpack from Harry Potter).

I've been work so much this past weeks, tired and sad with my company client (they are awful and all Devs with whom I work are exhausted and sad... Almost all of us are trying to find another job).

I am reviewing my programming studies... Actually, I am reviewing my career choices and life choices, as I am organizing myself in order to do another graduation 👀

Things and organizing my new plans I'm this new corner, is very good! I am praying everyday to thrive through this life challenges. And praying for my colleagues, they deserve to be happy 🥺

I’m going to put this out there, yes I am a Harry Potter fan and no I do not support what JKR says on a certain community

If you have an issue with me or others liking the series/and or believe that ppl who support trans/non-TERFS cannot enjoy the series then please block and move along is all I ask.

I do not post on the series often because of this whole drama crap with Rowling (whom I DO NOT agree with) and the dumb shit she’s been saying it breaks my freaking heart that ppl will villainize/harass others who had nothing to do with her views just for liking a series. I’m in no way defending her words her words or actions for what she has said nor do I endorse those sort of things.

All I’m asking is this if you do have issues with ppl who like the series, then please go ahead and block tags/blogs relating to the franchise if it makes you feel uncomfortable instead of attacking people and or calling them a TERF/Transphobe right off the bat for liking the series (This mainly goes for a select few of the community who were harassing streamers for playing Hogwarts Legacy, please don’t do that as you are only making the LGBTQ+/Trans community look bad because of some bad apples and plus, it’s a good thing about Tumblr with tags).

Just hoping this little piece of advice and post helps coming from a HP Fan even if you don’t like the series because of Rowling. The vast majority of the fandom holds no ill will against you or your identity and if you don’t feel comfortable, plz block tags and such and don’t interact. I do not want you to get upset or feel uneasy so please do yourself a favor and keep away if you need to.

You can hate the creator, but still love the series

Thank you and hope you all have a lovely day folks, and please remember to treat your fellow humans with respect who aren’t total backwards folks. Please treat each other with respect regardless of a person’s identity or if you don’t have anything good to say, keep it to yourself as silence is golden in these situations.

I cannot change a person’s opinions on a franchise nor do I intend to do just that, you are entitled to your own opinions and I respect that as you cannot satisfy everyone.

Written for @microficmay's Day 10 prompt: Moon & Stars + @drarrymicrofic's prompt: Mermaids | Rating: G | Read on Ao3

The silver moon reflects upon the glimmering waters of the sea as Draco and Harry lay side by side on the upper deck of the ship. So close that Draco can feel the warmth of Harry’s skin beneath the fabrics of their clothing; so close that if Draco listened enough, he’s certain he can hear Harry’s heartbeat along with his breathing.

Draco watches the stars a little, and Harry at most, as he points at every single one of them, scattered on the dusk like the freckles on Harry’s skin under the sun.

“That one’s called Leo,” Harry says softly, his breath fanning against Draco’s cheek. “Its brightest star is called Regulus.”

Draco blinks, eyes filling with wonder as he tries to decipher the shape of the lion in the night sky.

Harry continues, his index finger pointing at another constellation. “Canis Major,” he says, voice breaking a little. “In it is the brightest star in the sky: Sirius.”

A comfortable falls between Draco and Harry – only the sound of the soft waves touching the edge of the ship and the rustle of footsteps from a distance can be heard. They stay like that for a while, letting time pass them as though there’s a plethora of it. After all, they had only met yesterday.

Once a dark cloud hovers over the moon, Harry breaks the silence. “What’s your name?”

Draco reaches for Harry’s hand, closing it into a fist with the index finger extended to point at a cluster of stars.

“Dragon?”

Draco chuckles and shakes his head; he holds Harry’s hand tighter.

“Drago– Dray– Draconis?”

After a few tries, Draco finally nods, laughing a bit as his heart fills with warmth at the sight of the stars reflecting on the green of Harry’s eyes.

“Draconis?” Harry repeats.

Draco nods.

“Dracon–” Harry keeps repeating, a different variation on the pronunciation each time until the last one where Draco leans in and presses his lips against Harry’s, stopping him from pronouncing the last syllable of Draconis.

“Draco,” Harry says once more, breathless once they pull away.

“That’s right,” Draco replies, his voice barely above a whisper as he openly stares at Harry’s lips, reddened and a bit swollen from their kiss.

A dimple appears on Harry’s cheek as he smiles fondly. “That’s a beautiful name,” he says. “Written in the stars.”
