My thoughts on Dr. Stone’s S03E12 (“The Kingdom of Science's Counterattack”)

(Safe to read for anime-only folks.)

My thoughts after watching Season Three, Episode Twelve:

01. Hello, Episode Twelve! :D Hmm, is it just me, or are the colors a little TOO vibrant right now?

02. The Kingdom of Science's Kohaku, Gen, Senku, Suika, Ryusui, and Soyuz versus the Petrification Kingdom's Mozu, Kirisame, Ibara, Oarashi, and additional person! :O

03. This opening song sounds so beautiful and melancholy! The first words are clearly asking "Why..." I can't wait until I find the English version of the lyrics!

04. Kohaku hugged Senku in the opening song!! :D

05. As a manga reader, I appreciate the things I saw in the opening song! The animation was very beautifully done - the stars everywhere really gave a sense of "the beyond," in terms of goals, faith, and love :)

06. And we have the title of Season Three, Episode Twelve... "The Kingdom of Science's Counterattack!"

07. They have SOME revival fluid... but the bad guys are throwing away the petrified statues and pieces of the kingdom of science! :O

08. Ibara's SMART! He deduced Ryusui's (presumed) status just from his clothes! AND he's using his petrified statue to test the newcomers to the palace - Kohaku and the others!

09. Ooh, dangerous... Ibara already knows her name, and Oarashi has already talked to her as well, but seeing her leap, kick, and punch like a skilled warrior is bound to cause some suspicion...

10. I know why Kohaku had to smash Ryusui's statue like that, but it couldn't have been easy for her... And it certainly wasn't easy for Suika to get deliveries of pieces of his statue, either! :O

11. Hahaha! I love how it was Kohaku's voice we heard with Ryusui's face and (imaginary) words! She knows him so well - that's exactly what he would say!

12. I do like the manga version of the moment a little better, though. It's pretty much the same, except she kind of, like, held a part of his statue almost tenderly and said, "That's what Ryusui is saying." I liked that it was like she was thinking of him being able to think in that state. Maybe it just looked tender to me because reading manga is slower than watching anime, but it was still a sweet moment!

13. Suika made him a paper captain's hat; aww! She's so sweet!

14. "What we're witnessing now is the real de-pretrification reaction." Wow... :O

15. When Ryusui was revived, his second sentence seemed to be exactly what Kohaku imagined it would be, hahaha! XD And yay, we have Ryusui back with us! :D

16. Suika's so happy to see Ryusui back with them, safe and sound! :) AND Ryusui acknowledged her as an accomplished warrior of the Kingdom of Science! :O

17. I wonder if the kite/drone joke worked out as well in the anime as it did in the manga with the manga sound effects? Maybe the Japanese word for "kite" sounds close to the Japanese word for "nope?"

18. Even Ryusui thought their ambitious plan was TOO ambitious!

19. I wonder how they made the straw boat thing they're using right now?

20. Hahaha, Ryusui knew who had the physical ability to help him search underwater for their friends... and he also knew who did NOT! XD

21. I love how Senku was thinking of Kohaku when he suggested underwater scuba diving! :D I HAVE to check whether this was in the manga - I hope it was! XD

22. Senku has made oxygen cylinders like this before?! :O So his probably held up to one hundred atmospheres... whatever THAT means... and blew up a month later...

23. I like how humble Senku is. He knows that Kaseki is their genius craftsman, and acknowledges openly that he himself is just an amateur! "The clunky look makes it endearing;" hahaha!

24. Senku and Ryusui tried to pass of their faith-filled statements as their believing in Kaseki's skills, but Gen knows what it's all about!

25. Wow! I am probably going to have to figure out how they got into that position due to making oxygen tanks... but that's a problem for future me! XD

26. Oxygen tanks acquired! And Mozu seems so cheerful and easygoing. Always smiling and stuff! I guess he's chill guy when he's... not being NOT chill!

27. They found Kaseki, but can't pull him out! I wonder why they didn't try digging around him to loosen him from the sand? ...Oh, they did, haha!

28. "We're buddies. We don't need words." Great teamwork from everybody!

29. So they don't need to be stuck together with adhesive to be complete when they get revived! Or maybe it's because their statues were broken so recently, and no weathering had taken place yet?

30. That's SUCH a risk...! And Ryusui may have been the first one to be revived twice, but Taiju was the first one to be revived underwater!

31. I don't know how Taiju sucked up that air, but... I guess he did somehow! I am just REALLY glad that I won't have to write about these details, because Senku's up there on the surface!

32. "Talking isn't what's important! We're a team. We can communicate without words, just with our hearts!" Taiju unknowingly echoed Gen's sentiments from earlier!

33. "I hear your heart." Okay, they're just straight up communicating telepathically now XD

34. They were able to get back to the surface! Ryusui, Soyuz, Kaseki's statue... and Taiju! :O

35. The ending song is about Kohaku! KOHAKU!!! Her perched on the priestess' hit, her pouring hot spring water for Ruri's bath - with her hair untied! Her hair looks wild and beautiful and untamed! :D

36. Tying her hair; walking; carrying a basket on her back... Chalk, Suika, and Sagara... Mirai and Nikki... Seeing Suika and Chalk watching Sagara enjoying himself... Gathering fruit with Nikki...

37. Smiling while gathering fruit; walking to the Persus with the others; enjoying eating fruit with everybody... A new shell necklace...

38. Going back home to the village... To Ruri, Kaseki, Chrome, and Senku... Senku SMILING at Kohaku, and Kohaku smiling back at him...! ^_^ I think this might be the first single character-focused Dr. Stone opening/ending theme ever! And it was about KOHAKU! Coming home to SENKU! :D

39. (But... I'll admit that I don't quite remember Season Three, Part One's ending song, so...)

40. Oh, I am REALLY looking forward to learning what the ending theme's lyrics mean! :D

41. The next episode's title is "The Medusa's True Face!" :O I don't have a lot of questions right now, because as a manga reader, I know what's coming... That title is pretty telling... :O

born into the great quan phoenix clan of china, with a centuries long reputation. some sort of sacred oath was made between the leaders and the clan ages ago and basically the clan has been consistently providing fire magic phoenix warriors to a secret organization that defends the country against dark forces.

when jin was eight, his family moved to the usa bc of a job opportunity.

forgot to mention his family is disgustingly rich, so he’s had that good life. well except for when it stopped being good.

the quan clan traditionally raises kids in a way to ensure they have fire affinity and become great warriors. but at his mother’s insistences, his father let jin be and just have a normal childhood.

when he was 14, curtsy of the clan’s advanced magical knowledge, jin was tested for an affinity and found out it wasn’t fire, but water. literally the worst most embarrassing affinity a PHOENIX could have.

his father was pissed and was like “ok time to pull out the ancient training method then”. he forbade jin from having friends and relationships and pulled him out of school. mans blackmailed his friends and gf into fucking off. the gf stayed, jin tried to run with her, and his father got her killed. sadge

that was a red line for jin’s mother, and she ratted her husband to the police for his dirty business. homie got thrown in jail yay.

although technically free, jin still struggled with his dad’s shadow and him trying to ruin his life from behind bars. he became paranoid and refused to get close to people after what happened to his gf anna.

dad was released the exact day jin left for arcanas. in fact, he was present at the opening ceremony. at the attunement test, jin was shown to have a fire affinity finally. however, out of spite to ever make his dad happy after HIS trauma shaped up this affinity, he chose the water attunement.

━ 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬.

his parents had him take violin, tennis, painting, and piano lessons as a child. out of all of these, he only really enjoys tennis.

chess is a chosen hobby and he actually won a couple school championships.

sleeps with his socks on bc he has terrible peripheral circulation.

he hates hot weather ( ironically ), but absolutely loves winter and snow.

big fan of ultra spicy food that melts your face off. he doesn’t even feel it anymore.

I would like to hear more about Toxin if you wanna share 👀 that fic made me v curious about her lol

Omg yay! This makes me so freaking happy because I LOVE Toxin. She was my first OC, my first real character that I put work into and she means A LOT to me. So lemme give a lil explanation on how I made Toxin and the like, then I’ll get into Toxin and her story.

So, I’ve been writing since I was 8 (I’m 21 currently). I wrote a story that required a villain and I came up with Toxin. Back then, my plots were horrible and whatnot so I won’t go into that, but every time I made a new story and needed a villain, I used Toxin. So one day, I decided to turn her into an actual character. Now, overtime, I had made other characters as well (most notably Lilith, Venus, and Reynaud) and I didn’t realize this until very recently, that I actually made a whole universe. Maybe one day I’ll write a book on that! But for now, I do plan on using her whenever I can!!

Points to remember: In my universe, there’s a group of warriors called Celestial Warriors chosen by the Nexus (the magic of the universe) to protect it. Celestial Warriors are extremely powerful due to their ability to tap into all the magic of the universe. My other OCs such as Venus, Reynaud, Alessia, etc are all Celestial Warriors.

Forbidden Spells are forbidden because they weaken the users ability to fight the Chaos Magic their universe has. To protect everyone, the Nexus created a sort of barrier for each and every living being. Using Forbidden Spells chips away at that barrier, eventually turning you into a corrupted demon.

Onto Toxin herself!

Name: Toxin; Formerly known as Yunus Kyoji. Age: Unknown Abilities: Poison Mastery Title: Legendary Hero

Background:

Childhood:

When she was a young child, about 8-10, she gained an ability called Poison Mastery. It allows her to control any all poisons and makes her immune to them

She spreads in multiple ways. Through contact like touching, kissing, through with a poison weapon (pistols , knife, sword, battle axe, spear, scythe, etc), or through a mist she can emit out of her body.

Having such a dangerous ability without any way to learn how to control it was just a recipe for disaster. Yunus’ parents, unlike her, had no magic and no idea she would have it either.

Due to this, she accidentally killed her parents through the poison mist. Through her panic, she somehow ended up taking the mist back into her body so it didn't hurt anyone else. When the other villagers found out what happened, they made her live at the edge of the village since no one could teach her how to control her powers and she was too dangerous to be around.

Yunus hated her life and decided she was done with this. There was talk about a powerful witch named Lilith who specialized in stealing magic and abilities. Yunus decided that she would willingly give Lilith all her magic.

Young Adult Life:

When she was 18 she left her village in search of Lilith. She later found out she wasn't nearly ready to find Lilith. Lilith was too far out of her league and Yunus was in no shape to go searching for a witch she’d only head rumors about. So she opted t o train herself. Yunus perfected her ability so well that she was able to cure people. For example, if you have cancer, Yunus can turn the cancerous cells into poison and extract it from your body, effectively curing you.

By the time Yunus was able to go find Lilith she'd fallen in love with her abilities. She was able to create poison weapons to fight, she could cure and heal people, and she was a hero. Yunus was the first ever Legendary Warrior (Unlike a Celestial Warrior, Yunus had become so powerful without the Nexus. She was ALMOST on par with a CW).

One thing Yunus did when she was a known warrior was that she saw children on the streets and took them in. Yunus had A LOT of money. She took on the toughest jobs, defeated the toughest monsters and therefore, earned a lot of money. So she built castles and mansions to house the orphans there. She even went as far as to take children from terrible orphanages as well. She had tutors, butlers, maids, as many helpers as she could get the children. She also created sanctuaries for adults who could go there no matter what and always get help. Yunus was known as the kindest, most merciful warrior.

Meeting Lilith:

Soon, she caught Lilith's eyes. Lilith saw her magic and wanted it and came to Yunus herself. This is when Yunus realized Lilith was never the hero she believed her to be, which had been heartbreaking for her. Yunus believed in Lilith, she had been the source of Yunus’ determination.

Lilith challenged Yunus and of course the Legendary Warrior accepted. Lilith told Toxin she'd come back when Toxin was ready and disappeared for the next 200-300 years. Toxin trained every day and perfected every single ability she had.

The Fight Against Lilith:

When it came time to fight Lilith, just like everyone else, Yunus lost. Even someone as powerful as her wasn’t able to keep up with this monster that was Lilith. So she resorted to using 3 forbidden spells. The first one allowed her to hide in a realm called Oblivion (a realm known as the “Lost Place”. Anyone who went there never found their way home). Yunus threw her body in oblivion, so no one could find her. The second spell was a powerful forbidden bind spell. The spell binds two targets together so whatever injury/effect one takes, the other does as well. The last spell was a powerful sleep spell.

The sleep spell can only be lifted by the caster, and Yunus decided to put it on herself. She would never awaken and because of the bind spell, it put Lilith to sleep as well and that's how their fight ended. Years of training all failed. However, in a sense, she didn’t fail. Yunus’ main goal was to keep everyone on her planet safe and even though she “died” in this fight, she did keep her vow.

The Aftermath: The day word got out of her loss in the fight was a sad day for all of the lands she protected. Statues had been erected in her honor, stories were told about her, and some people even prayed to her, hoping she could protect them from wherever she was.

Since Yunus used 3 powerful spells, her tolerance was extremely low and when they summoned her spirit, the chaos magic attacked her ruthlessly.

She became corrupted, when she landed in front of the scholars she had enough magic to materialize her spirit and she murdered them . She then went to every single orphanage and sanctuary that was still running and SLAUGHTERED every living thing. Not just the children or adults, animals included. She also destroyed every single statue of her except one. The one that was in her village was spared for unknown reasons.

She threw away her name, claiming if anyone called her Yunus, they'd face a fate worse than death and that's when she became Toxin.

[may '21] - the life update no one asked for (and some quick links)

Hello team! How are you? What a month it has been! But: we have had some proper sun, the days are getting longer, I have gin&tonic with me to give me fuel to write this and it is now the 30th of april - yay! I know I'm bending the rules of these monthly posts a bit there, by writing the may post by anticipation but I really want to focus on 'proper' writing this weekend, so I hope that you will forgive me :).

This is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT the priority for the coming days. We are having a bank holiday here in Ireland on Monday and the main objective now is to get the first draft of next chapter done. I have the outlines (both general and particular) and have - maybe - around 15% of the actual chapter done. Due to external factors (more on that below), I've had quite a hard time finding the time and energy to actually focus on this over the past few weeks which is why I kind of booked out this weekend to Get Shit Done. Hopefully, it works. ETA for next chapter: 30th May.

** Hinny Ficfest **

I am very happy to announce that I'll have not one but two short stories coming out for the upcoming hinny ficfest. I obviously can't talk about them too much on here but here's what I can tell you.

- the first one will be called: [like fire in the rain] and answers to prompt 78 - "truth or dare". It's a short three sentence story (a format I used to enjoy but haven't done on tumblr in aaaaages) that's a bit angsty (you know me) and is set within the 'sunlit days' in year 6.

- the second one, I'm not too sure of the title yet, but right now I'm thinking of a line from a song by passenger called 'holes': [she said the wolf's just a puppy and the door's double-locked (so what'd you gotta worry me for?)]. this is (loosely) inspired by prompt 27 (Molly finding out about Ginny/Harry) the summer after the war, but has kind of grown into a what-if-castles-wasn't-my-headcanon kind of fic. It's currently just shy of 3,000 words. I'm considering posting it on AO3/FF as well by the time it comes out on here but I'm not sure. We'll see.

They're both fully written but need a bit of polish but will definitely be ready by the 10th :).

Currently, I’m reading:

Calypso by David Sedaris: I've finished this! It was absolutely lovely - would highly recommend if you're looking for a nice, non-fiction read. I'd probably give it four stars. Not magnificent but definitely worth a read.

I’ve started re-reading the Divergent series because I have the attention span of a five year old atm. -- Update: yeah, still there. I don't think I've picked this up recently.

I've also started Watch Her Fall by Erin Kelly. I really loved her thriller He Said/She Said so thought I'd give it a try. For now, it's fine but I've found it sort of hard to get into it if I'm honest.

I’m still labouring through Troubled Blood, the JKR/RobertGalbraith book (ugh), but I have made significant progress on this. I'm on page 789 so almost at the end. I cannot wait to be finished with it. On top of everything else, it's just way too long. And, that's coming from someone whose favourite HP book is OOTP.

In other news:

I have to say, this month's been a bit of a struggle. Not in terms of mental health but just a lot of things happening at once. I had my exams at the start of the month, obviously, then I went home to France. Then, Ireland decided to introduce mandatory hotel quarantine so I had to change my tickets, come back early to avoid it. Then, the day before I left, my mother had a stroke. I just - I don't want to dwell on this too much. It's over, now, she's fine, has (from what the MRI showed) very little damage to her brain. She's at home and living her best life. Frankly, she's a bit of a miracle. This being said, I can't explain to you the stress and anxiety and heartache of last few weeks, and of not knowing what to do. Of not being able to fly home, having to be in Ireland because I was starting a new job and couldn't afford the hotel quarantine; it was just a lot. I think I didn't even have words to put on it at the time, which is why I didn't write about it before. It's easier now, now that it's over. In the thick of it, I didn't know where to start.

Now, I also didn't want to mention this because I don't mean it as a sob story. I just feel like I should explain why I haven't been the best at putting content out, lately. For that first week after it happened, when we were waiting for the medical exams to come through, I had to start a new job, pretend to be 'happy to be here' and 'excited' like everything was fine and that alone kind of sucked all the energy out of me. I was texting her every half hour at the same time, anxiously waiting for a reply. She lives alone, you see, and she's the only family I have left. I feel bad about not being able to write, but it's been hard. I just couldn't focus. On top of that, while the new job is interesting (and it pays money, yaaaay!), it's just a new routine to get back into, so I've also been feeling very tired.

Additionally, the extrovert in me has been begging to see more of her mates, lately. The weather has been really nice and I'm so eager to go out that I have struggled to keep my resolutions of 'no, I'm staying in and writing tonight.' I used to get plenty of social interactions at work, back in the day, but now that I'm fully remote, all I want to do on my days off is see people (especially with the easing of restrictions in Ireland). I feel like overall, it's fair, though. Introverts have struggled in our society for years, now, it's fair that we, extroverts, during the pandemic, bear more of the burden. It's just that this sudden return of my social life has also not truly catered to much writing time, haha. Hopefully, May will be more stable.

I am feeling better, now. Mum is doing good, the results of her MRI were very positive and the only real thing that's changed is that she says she's 'exhausted' which I guess can be expected after a stroke, haha. She's a warrior and I love her. This week, I've been feeling finally more able to focus and with the bank holiday, I really hope to get some proper writing done. I just need to escape in the magic of HP again, haha.

Anyways, sorry for this rather grim update. I suppose I also want to be honest and say that it's not always rainbows and butterflies. Here's to May, though. Hopefully, it'll treat us better :).

21. A Place in the Dirt

... Reader ...

If you had had any hope of getting off the hook lightly on your first day in Asgard...well, those hopes have been crushed, ground into dust, mixed with oil and pigment, and painted onto the wall to spell out the words ‘HA HA’.

Loki had given you all of half an hour to chill and explore the room – surprisingly granting you ownership of the gorgeous suite and the fairy tale-esque bed – however his return had brought a storm of preparations. Maids and tailors (he called them seamstresses) had flocked around you, insisting to prepare a bath for you (as if you weren’t capable of that yourself) after having taken your measurements and tested a gazillion different fabrics while you stood like a mannequin until your body hurt. Admittedly, the bath had been worth it, but you weren’t gonna tell the schemer that when you’d appeared from the bathroom in a cloud of steam.

Allowing a maid to usher you behind a screen, Loki had busied himself with a servant – a good thing too as you were afraid getting physically near him would ruin you and the cleanliness. Still, you were happy for the help as the clothes presented to you were new, styled to match what you had seen the Asgardian noblewomen wearing earlier. Several layers of gossamer-thin silk in greens and sandy colours were almost magically draped across your shoulders, tugged and crossed into a smooth, shimmering haze before the piece-de-resistance was applied: it looked like a bodice of metal scales, the coppery kites woven together unseen without desisting the subtlety of any other thick fabric.

“Lady [Y/N], it is hard to believe you are not Asgardian,” a blond man greets you, breaking the dreamlike (or nightmarish) state you’re in.

Smiling politely, you recall he has been hanging out with a small group during the beginning of the feast. With a woman on each arm, the Asgardian has been drinking and laughing with a bear of a guy with red hair and a beard befitting a Tolkien dwarf (he even has roughly the same shape and table manners as one); at least the second friend – although short of words – knows how to behave himself in court if Loki's directions are to be believed: his face is happy and eyes sharp, never stopping the careful watch of everyone in the room. You don't mind when he looks your way because he will move the gaze to the next person soon enough. The woman, however...brilliant eyes have taken in your every twitch even after Frigga officially welcomed you, explaining to the court how the plan was for you to be tutored by the queen herself. Sif. Apparently, she's quite a warrior and still, she isn't coming to save you now.

"Thank you."

Rather than leaving you alone again the blond sits down, grabbing a glass of golden liquid from a tray of a passing servant and taking a sip. Eyes the colour of forget-me-nots twinkle over the brim.

"Please indulge my curiosity, fair lady." With that melodious voice you might forgive him everything. "How come you travel alone? Save for a single servant..."

You know the answer because it's been drilled in it by Loki: “Travelling without an agenda set in stone, it would be presumptuous and unkind to any host if I arrived with the customary retinue. My servant, as you call him, may not attend precisely the same tasks as a maid...but his allegiance is unwavering. I trust him with my life.”

Brows half cocked, the man next to you drains the glass lazily only to signal for more. The tip of his tongue wipes the last drop of his lips, eye contact unbroken. A shiver runs down your spine and you’re not entire sure it’s the good kind even if there’s an inkling of admiration for his confidence. Player.

“If ever you find yourself in need of...other company,” the man leers, “you can always come to me.” Two full glasses are set between the two of you and he immediately scoots one towards you. “I am Fandral, of the Warriors Three. At your service, m’lady.”

Simply raising your glass in return, you decide life will be a lot nicer with some friends around especially with Loki’s recent teasing. And either way, what harm can a polite gesture do?

Someone stop the floor. Your entire world seems to tilt and spin as you walk down the grand hallways – not uncomfortably so, just enough that keeping on a straight path requires more concentration than you’re willing to spend at the moment when you’d much rather enjoy the warm buzz in your body.

As the feast had progressed and your new, blond friend had coaxed the glass of mead into you (an easy feat considering the deliciousness) your body had begun to heat up, making you miss Loki’s soothing temperatures.

Shrugging off the layers draped over your body, the air is like a balm. “Orh, that’s be’er.”

It’s a simple order and [Y/N]’s eyes are already closing, still she manages to capture one of his hands and lead it to her forehead. “This works too.”

He can’t pull back, only stare and try to breathe evenly as the woman guides his hand as though it’s a cool cloth. Along the jaw, down the throat to send shivers racing towards the hairline at the neck. Knuckles brush delicately back and forth over the clavicles before she allows his palm to flatten over the upper sternum – the heartbeat beneath strong and rapid – only to drag further until nestled between her breasts while the silk is pulled taught by his wrist.

I...not like this. Snagging the hand back, Loki ignores the whimpers and turns away to discreetly readjust the painful tightness of leather again.

Lying in the darkness of the servant’s room, he can still smell the dampness of [Y/N]’s skin on his hand and the memory of soft heat guides that very same hand’s strokes upwards, twists, and down again in the hopes of relieving some of the tension and frustration that have build up within.

A flicker of magic, and a rendering of her face glows dimly, smiling softly at Loki as he ups the tempo. Though the heat is lacking, at least he can mimic the tight hold she would have on him as he thrusts into the fist repeatedly. Although wavering, more of her body appears, completing the recollection of the sight of [Y/N] splayed on the fourposter. The god’s breath hitch and his hips stutter, but the euphoria only lasts mere seconds before the unquenchable need returns. Sweet doom. There is a way to sate the hunger, but it has to be done right or not at all.

For 14.7%, Eren coldly calling Pieck’s bluff was chilling enough to be their favorite moment. In contrast, 14.6% most enjoyed Pieck’s betrayal as she turned to name Eren her enemy. Despite Porco’s failure to incapacitate Eren, 14.1% still loved the Jaw Titan’s surprise attack! He tried!

Nice to see Eren playing 4D Chess with Pieck. I loved Pieck's "Please take care of me!" as she went up the stairs! And Yelena standing up for Sasha was a great moment in my book too - a bit extreme like, but that's Yelena's style though! Eren at the end returning to his old self - angry and legless - was my favourite moment though!

I never really got invested much in the new Marley characters, but god damn if I don’t love Pieck more after every chapter. I mean the pointing thing? That was SICK

I liked Nicolo's defending of Sasha and it hurt to see her family forced to listen to that guy degrading her. And because of his feelings for her and for eldians, I chose him as the MVP for now :)

Grior. He showed us how deeply Nicolo felt about Sasha, he created a scene where Jean got to show his worth, and he opened the door to everyone seeing exactly how creepy Yelena is. He made EVERYONE (besides Yelena) look good. :D

The vast majority are happy to see someone from Gabi’s side of the war finally tell her the reality of their situation. 12% of respondents don’t think it will ultimately matter as Gabi is too stubborn to change her views. A smaller portion feel that Pieck doesn’t actually believe what she’s saying to Gabi at all.

Gabi is easily the character whose future development I look forward to the most.

I feel like Gabi needs to listen but Pieck here really means there's another method on the way; the rest is just her LARPing as a restorationist to gain Eren's trust, just as Armin did with Annie in the past.

Gabi's already gotten so many doses of reality that have done nothing. I honestly don't feel anything about these moments at this point.

Pieck isn't entirely lying here. She believes that eldians should fight for themselves and is using Marley to get what she wants. Good on her for calling out Gabi's blind devotion to Marley! Stupid child.

Pieck is showing her true thoughts but won't act on them, because she won't betray Marley and everyone she knows.

Gabi truly believes that all the Warriors are doing what they do in the name of Marely, Zeke turned his back on Marley to accomplish his ultimate goal and Pieck revealed that she doesn't trust them at all. Gabi may understand that simply being an honorary Marleyian isn't why the Warriors fight for Marley, they simply fight for themselves, even if it does help Marley to an extent.

I'm more interested in what it means for Pieck's viewpoint tbh. She says this, and is clearly smart enough to know this to be true, and yet is still apparently fighting for Marley. I'm very interested to see whether she actually has any ideas on how to win Eldian freedom after the Paradis battle.

Pieck was telling half-truths to Gabi, she knows about the danger of the Eldians being obsolete but Eren is not the answer for the survival of her people in the mainland.

All of the above. Any of these moments in isolation would have been good, but it's all of them taken together that made Jean amazing this chapter.

Now our favourite Jailbirds: I'm so happy to see them after a few months. Jean continues to be the best, and my most favourite boy, I liked how rationally and objectively he viewed the situation -- and the fact that he was still vouching for Eren, and showing so much care for Mikasa made my heart flutter a lil bit.

With Eren recently acquiring the unique and awesome war hammer abilities, many of us are waiting with bated breath to see him show them off. 87.5% think that Eren will utilize them in the battle, and 8.3% think he already has. While his titan form doesn’t seem radically different yet, it seems to have formed in the style Lady Tybur’s did. Only 4.2% don’t believe Eren will break out these powers.

Disappointed that Isayama didn't give Eren's titan form a redesign after eating the Warhammer Titan. Hopefully we'll be able to see how Eren's going to utilize its power in the next chapter.

Zeke will probably show up at that moment so he can save Eren just as he claimed he would long ago. His promise to Eren was even brought up Pieck this chapter, who we know is exactly right!

Reiner is going to get SO depressed when Armin transforms into the Colossal. Also not a big fan of Annie but she needs to get out now.

Now Eren is facing the strong enemies alone. I would like to see how he can handle them, that why I hope that Zeke and SC won't join. I want Reiner to win at least once.

Has Eren burned every bridge? The majority, at about 55% think both Armin and Jean will still end up siding with him. Just below that, 47.7% think Mikasa will continue to support him. 28.9% think everyone listed will oppose joining up with him.

Eren alienated Mikasa and Armin so i think they won't join, but they can't abandon him either.

I bet Eren broke ties with Armin and Mikasa so that they wouldn't get involved in this fight, because he's seen a scenario where they die here.

It's hard to tell because Eren's "side" is still quite a mystery. If he truly believe in the euthanasia plan then I doubt anyone in the SC will join him, even Mikasa. But if it turns out his plan is something else we don’t know, then they might help him in the end. Most likely Armin and Jean. But I doubt any of the SC joins the Euthanasia side, now we just need to find out if that's actually Eren's side.

I really like that Pieck was pointing her finger at Eren, as he asked on the rooftop where the enemy is and she said 'there'. I'm wondering if this has a special meaning that Isayama will turn Eren into the last 'antagonist' for his final arc. Maybe the last fight, includes the whole world vs. Eren, but who knows?

The biggest winners this month were unsurprisingly Jean and Pieck, with huge upswings in popularity. On the other end, Onyankopon, Yelena and even poor Connie took a hit. It seems Connie’s distrust of Eren might have upset a few people.

I don’t know who in the SC will side with Eren but I am almost completely sure Connie won’t.

Honestly feels like Onyankopon is just a side character that won't affect the plot much at all and therefor is pretty much irrelevant.

Can't say I was surprised about how things unfolded. The SC are still in jail, at this point it's laughable. Pieck and Marley attack - who didn't see it coming? Onyankopon is still shady. Yelena is still cray cray. Eren is still acting like a heartless asshole. Gabi is beyond redemption, she would have shot Pieck if she hadn't been stopped. So nothing much was new :D

Still tryin to figure out what's the point of Gabi in this story.

It would make the most sense for Eren to lose this upcoming fight because he abandoned his friends, while the opposing side is united because of their friendship (if we're speaking in narrative terms). But we still don't know what his thoughts are, how much he knows, what his plans are, or his reasoning for anything. How can he be the main antagonist of this fight if we don't know this much? Idk but I hope we'll get some clarification during the fight (but I doubt it)

Will Reiner overcome his sufferboi status to finally do something right for himself? That's what I want to see.

I want to know if they have Hot Chocolate in the cell or some coffee. Why only tea? What is Eren planning withholding the coffee?

Armin's ability to manipulate has levelled up so much! He might be overplaying it a little bit with the tears, but considering previously he was really bad at making the emotions on his face reflect what he was saying, he's getting better at it. It both excites and saddens me. Excites because it makes him all the more dangerous; saddens because my greatest wish for Armin is that he needn't know these skills at all. Just let him be free and travel and see cool things! He deserves it.

What a ride! And what a turn-around. I love how the narration has come around to Eren being the villain, and Pieck and Reiner being the heroes. I also can't wait to see Eren get his ass stomped.

The direction the manga is going it’s fucked up. I think the manga has lost that sparkle that once had. Basically at this point everybody is waiting just to see who makes it out alive and lives to tell the tale.

Jean and Connie are both right. Eren's not absolved just because he has reasons for his actions. Lying and manipulating your friends is shitty, especially if you're doing it "for their own good." But mostly I really liked this chapter, particularly the arrival of Reiner and Co. And Gabi and Pieck!

The Marleyan military is attacking Paradis. Them killing Eren and getting his powers is bad for Paradis. I have no idea why there are fans saying the Survey Corps will outright abandon Eren or even fight against him right now. Helping the people currently attacking them is...unwise, to say the least.

The 100, 601,

I need to write about some stuff, but today I watched the 601 so, let's go first with the review. I'm going to play it again not to forget anything, so this is going to be chronological. (They are 43 points).

1) The 100 intros are one of my favorites ones among tv shows. They tell us a lot of information with it, practically every place they are gonna visit and on which characters they are going to focus. This one is also refreshing because we stop watching the same places we already know (Polis, Arkadia, Allie laboratory, etc.) It's nice to see new locations. About characters, they put Shanon Kook and Henry Ian Cusin on credits, so I guess Kane is going to appear again. And they are going to focus on Jordan! YAY! (I miss Mondy and Harper already).

2) Raven being a bitch part.1. (I address to this later, but let me express my thoughts during the episode). You kept your humanity because of people around you were eager to risk their souls from maintaining intact yours. I'm not sorry for not forget that Finn went to jail and send to the ground to die because you wanted to spacewalker even when you know that the lack of air kills people in the ark.

3) Zaven. Just because. Ok. Whatever.

4) Jordan. Jordan tries to be attentive to everyone on the ship. I loved that Marper used Clarke's parenting book so he knows the good things about everyone and he's not prejudging. I think every time I see Jordan, I'm going to scream internally: Give me Monty and Harper back! I miss them! Also, I can't wait to see his face when he eats something that wasn't an alga. It'll be marvelous!

5) Emori, nobody asked you! Clarke wasn't even interested in talking with you guys, so leave her alone. Moreover, you accused a random guy of torture you, so they try radiation on him because you were scared, and I pretty sure that if the guy wasn't there, nobody touched you because Murphy was on your side and Clarke would be on Murphy's. I get you were scared but so was Clarke, so back off.

6) Echo is cool. My Bellarke heart hurts because of Echo sides with Clarke.

7) Bellamy's face when Clarke comments about him putting O on coma shows guilt. Interesting.

8) Abby looked at Jordan as he was a magician. Who's the 100 deus ex machina? Of course, it's the purest and impossible to forget Monty Green.

9) Echo being cool, part. 2 (I trust Monty)

10) Bellamy is now the leader, and it's kind of funny because he already agreed with Clarke to go down and check the planet, but since Echo agrees with that too he decides to send everyone down.

11)Raven being a bitch, part 2. Ok, girl, it sounds you are on the defensive.

12) Bellamy-I-am-your-father, part 1. (You stay with the kids until you know how to behave appropriately)

13) ECHO! I love this girl. She doesn't even care that Octavia hates her. She wants Octavia being near Bellamy. She called Octavia "one of their best warriors," and she's damn right but also she's brave because, well, yeah, Octavia has a right to hate her. (Echo being cool, part 3)

14) What do you mean late, honey? Because I think Echo is not thinking about surviving but forgiveness. She doesn't want Bellamy dies before he could get on terms with his sister. Love this girl.

15) Miller! I was mad at you last season, but it says a lot about you to say sorry to Bellamy. He forgives you because I think it's easy for him to blame Octavia for everything (ey, Octavia used to do precisely the same. I don't know why it's easy for Blake siblings to blame each other. I guess because at the bottom of their hearts they know they are always there while if they get mad with other people, they lose them).

16) I saw many gifs that show how Bellamy and Clarke look to each other while they descend to Alpha, but I think all of them are looking at Zach like: save us, please! Not the Bellarke moment I was waiting for.

17) I got that feeling from gifs, and there is it again: Echo rolls her eyes while Clarke talks to Bellamy. I'm sure she knows about their story, but it can help. How the hell is she not going to fall in love with Bellamy?

18) I thought the "he'll come around" goes for Murphy. I don't mind if Zach doesn't come around. I don't care what he thinks about Clarke at all.

19) Has anyone anything better than "we're back, bitches"? Thank you, Monty.

20) Raven, if you want to forgive Abby, do it. If you don't want, don't. But using her guilt to make you feel better because you expect her to disappoint you, it's not healthy, and it's going to solve anything. I get you are mad, but you have been upset since your first appearance, so it's up to you.

21) Octavia and her little tear. Where's my brother? (So many parallels with these two I can't wait for a Blake hug)

22) Emori, Bellamy and Clarke's faces when they see Murphy is okay. They're going to kill him one day.

23) It's sweet how Bellamy looks at Echo like "do you want to go to the lake" and she is like "no." They remind me of Finn pulled Clarke to the first lake the delinquents found in their first trip.

24) Jackson and his "oh my god. We are aliens" was priceless. If only he could spend time with Monty, the two couples could have a good time together. I suddenly remember how well Miller and Harper got on. And now she's gone, and Miller can't repair the damage. Poor kid.

25) When you realize how poor your choices were, you can be honest about yourself and try to be a better person. I'm not talking about forgiving yourself but not being a jerk to anyone. If Miller did, the rest could do it.

26) I think the forgiveness thing is not a Bellarke thing anymore. Not only because it's the main reason Becho begins but because everyone needs that. They need to learn how to forgive others if they want to be able to a)forgive themselves and b) be happy. So, guys, if you need forgiveness, it's okay, I give it for you!

27) Yours too, Murphy! Clarke is kind of tired of your shit. Just give her a moment or leave her alone. By the way, I want my sarcastic Clarke to come back. I still remember how bad as she was in the first season when she didn't weight the future of the human race on her shoulders.

28) I love to see how they grow up. Like, they are not these bunch of kids that are sent to the Earth to survive (or not). Like, they are prepared for everything. It also reminds me at the beginning of the second season, when they are ready for the poison smoke.

29) And of course, Clarke has to jump into the danger to save Zach. Do you want acts? They there are. At least you can say thank you. But okay, you open the Raven's development arc. May we meet again.

30) Raven, honey, what's it come from? If you don't want to be near Abby, don't interfere in her business. It's simple. Stay away. The fact you go on and on, it's because you want to hit where it hurts. And that's not only self-destructive, but it also makes people around you leave you.

31) Talking about people who like to hit where it hurts. I like Miller is on Clarke's side.

32) I loved Emori's face when Bellamy said he trusts on her on being a pilot.

33) I want a spin-off about Becca.

34) It's kind of weird to see them dealing with a civilized place, not just forest and ruins.

35) Hello, kleptomania.

36) I still remember the lesson Jaha gave to Octavia. He explained everything so well that it makes "easy" to forgive him. But yeah, she's kind of right about Kane and Abby. They chose to hide behind the rulers (Jaha, Octavia) to make their own treaties with the enemy but when they were their own enemies (on the bunker, on the ark), they forgot about their responsibilities even when they were the ones the rulers chose to trust on the most. I get Octavia's fury, and I like to see that she does not enjoy seeing Kane suffers and tosses blood. By the way, I think she burnt the farm because the perspective to spend another day in the bunker was making her sick. She understood how hard was for everyone to survive, so she took the responsibility (My sister, my responsibility; I bear it, so they don't have to) and blamed, if and when Wonkru could leave the damn bunker. If Kane and Abby can forgive Clarke, Bellamy, and Jaha, the hell they can't forgive Octavia.

37) Raven is waiting for Abby to disappoint her (at this moment, I can't think that it's a disappointment. You girl want Abby to be an addicted again, only to make yourself feel better. I leave you to figure out what's your problem. And... Abby decides to be done with Octavia and Raven's shit and stand for herself. "Never again" Or what you want to think about me, it's up to you, I'm done.

38) Knocking On Heavens Door is on the playlist. Murphy! Sing that song!

39) Murphy singing was priceless. It remains me that time, in Bellamy's all-terrain, when Monty and Jasper were still alive, and Bellamy and Miller were also there, and they only sing. The beginning of season 3. One of the few moments I saw them enjoying being alive.

40) People who live here left everything so well that it seems they were waiting for someone to appear and survive for its visit. Just in case. Where the hell are they?

41) Bellaaaaaaaaaaaarke. Ok. Calm down. So, he said the I'm sorry, and I love how Clarke panicked when she realizes that he knows and he can judge her. I think she realizes that she was in love with Bellamy at the end of season 5 so she's not ready to confront him yet. And I guess he always believed that his love was a one-sided one, so she will never like him as he likes her, even they are very good friends. So they try to be cool to each other but... it can't help it. They're flirting. As in the Unity day episode.

She is the only one he could talk about Octavia, the one he could trust in being this hurt brother who still loves his sister. I wish Octavia would've (go to school). He speaks to Clarke about Octavia in a softer way than he did with Echo because only Clarke had seen him trying to approach his sister uncountable times before. "She'll come around," Clarke said, and she was right, but now Bellamy feels that if he did things in another way, his sister would never become who she is now. He thinks that part of her dark development is on his fault and he only wants to admit it with Clarke.

42) Bellamy calls Echo to show her the book, and he gives it to Clarke. Suddenly he forgets about Echo being there... I understand why Echo crosses her arms, which it's usually a sign of protection or defensiveness.

43) Clarke is the first one to realize Emori is attacking Murphy and she runs toward him. Guys, you don't deserve that girl.

Conclusions? I think we are going to see a development for Raven, who, by the way, has sex in the first part of the episode and has a blood test in the second part, and I watch so many tv shows to understand that as... is she going to be pregnant? Because if it's true, well, finally, her love life is not going to disappear because an actor signed a contract and she might understand how it was for Clarke when they put Madi on risk.

Who the hell took their ships? The good news, at least for Echo, is Octavia is already wake so she can defend everyone.

I completely in if the season is about characters talking about each other. These people need lots of psychological treatments. They need professional help. Why are there only three doctors in the damn place? Why don't they train anyone? What would happen if Clarke, Abby or Jackson disappear? At least Monty taught Jordan to be an engineer.

1 – CHIRON RE-ENTERS ARIES AS MARS CONJUNCTS THE CHIRON POINT –

Holy Chiron, Batman! This is some massive Chiron energy that is going to teach us something IMPORTANT throughout the Full Moon phase, but primarily today and tomorrow. So we want to be watchful and mindful even more than we normally would.

The heavenly energies teach us via the subtle curriculum and schedule of astrology. The timing of this lesson is quite special. This is because it is happening alongside several significant astrological aspects.

Chiron leaving Pisces and changing signs as it moves into Aries is a big deal. Anytime an outer planet changes signs it is a big deal. It causes tremendous shifts in energy, related to the planet and signs.

Chiron is leaving the end of the zodiac in Pisces and beginning a new cycle as it starts over in Aries. Chiron is our Inner Warrior. It represents self-mastery. The energy teaches via experience – we live its lessons. Usually, the lessons are hard-won, but when we know, we know forever.

Chiron also frees us from our suffering.

Chiron in Pisces effectively doubled the suffering.

Now, Chiron in Aries takes that suffering and what we have learned and fires it up. It burns away what is no longer needed and takes the purest forms forward. Chiron in Aries produces treasures and then moves them into perfect place.

With perfect timing to double the effects, Chiron moves into Aries just as Mars (ruler of Aries!) makes a conjunction with the Chiron Point – the degree in the sky where Chiron was located when it was discovered. This degree, 04 Taurus, encapsulates all of Chiron’s themes (which are myriad – many more than any other planet).

Chiron rules healing, alternative healing, systems and currents of the body, the arts of war, Renaissance People, medicine and medicinal herbs, alchemy, bards, hands, the healing power of the hands, teachers and teachers of teachers, inventors and inventions, gymnastics, Jedi, Virgo, pain and suffering, suicide, self-sabotage, the hero’s journey, and the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

The “double Chiron energy” is is one of the main reasons that makes today so very powerful and such a good opportunity for fresh starts (or regained opportunities).

2 – LAST DAY OF SUN IN AQUARIUS –

The Sun spends its last day in the sign of Aquarius, ending its amplification of the Black Moon in Aquarius (yay). This is happening while the Moon is in Aquarius’ opposite sign of Leo. So we have a “Black Moon day,” a day when people tend toward the projection of their own perceived weaknesses, feelings of powerlessness, and fears about changes. It’s a day when we need to think before we speak. It’s a day to overcome feeling victimized by others, circumstances, and life.

(Note: It’s a super Black Moon day for those with the Sun, Chiron, or Black Moon in Leo or Aquarius, but a tremendous relief is on the way with the Sun leaving Aquarius. Remember you are undergoing a major rebirth, which comes with growing pains, but which always leads to what is better for us.)

We are already engaging the power of Chiron and the Return of the Inner Warrior, but we also have other energetics in place to overcome the feeling of powerless victim.

3 – 5 DOG IN THE TZOLKIN –

It’s 5 Dog – The Day of the Underdog! 5 is love and Dog is our loyal guide and companion. 5 Dog tends to upset the balance of power where imbalances of power are in effect. Emotional meltdowns can occur. Ultimately, this energy wants to effect change through love. Bob Marley was 5 Dog.

How fitting that the Sun is at the last degree of Aquarius with the Sabian symbol of “moon-lit fields, once Babylon, are blooming white.” Bob Marley wrote, “Babylon system is the vampire” which to me is “empire.,” and look at what is happening to empire/Empire.

Light is overtaking the Babylonian system of vampire/empire.

4 – JUPITER EXACT TRINE ERIS POINT –

Mighty Jupiter brings us more dog energy as it discharges 21 Sagittarius, “a child and a dog wearing borrowed eyeglasses.” Under this energetic, points of view are changed; we regain a sense of wonderment and fun; we aim for clarity; innocence prevails.

These themes are manifest under the broader context of the Eris Point – 21 Aries, the degree in the sky where the planet Eris was discovered. Eris is the twin sister to Mars, and both are “battlefield” energies. Eris energy seeks to rectify chaos and strife – to bring balance to the Force if you will.

Jupiter can take things to the extreme, so we want to, again, think before speaking, and plan before tackling Goliath.

Ultimately, truth wins out when Jupiter and the Eris energy are together.

5 – VENUS CONJUNCT SATURN –

More energy for “truthiness” comes to us courtesy Venus and Saturn. These two can at first come off with major power and control struggles, especially in romantic relationships and money/markets. The conjunction is occurring at 17 Capricorn and the Sabian symbol energetic of “a girl surreptitiously bathing in the nude,” which reveals things.

Many things will come to light during the remainder of this month (because this aspect is happening with the Full Moon and will, therefore, play out over the rest of the cycle). Things that people have been getting away with will come to an end.

(Note: Saturn in Capricorn is wreaking havoc with dental issues -and working dental staff quite hard – take care of things sooner rather than later if you are having problems with your teeth.)

6 – MERCURY CONJUNCT NEPTUNE –

Over the next two days, truth flows in ever-greater abundance with Mercury (communications, messages) meeting up with Neptune (clear/unclear, illusions, spiritual connection, paradoxes) at 16 Pisces and the Sabian symbol of “in a quiet moment, an individual experiences the flow of inspiration.” This is also the degree of the Pisces lunar cycle which begins on March 6. Inspiration – an answer – is coming through information.

Much of this will come through recognizing what we thought was true was not. Neptune has a way of showing this. Again, since this is happening with the Full Moon, it will play out over the remainder of the lunar cycle.

Situations, feelings, events, messages, and insights that are happening over the next two days are also particularly prophetic regarding what we have in store during March and up to the start of the astrological new year on April 5.

7 – FULL MOON AT 01 VIRGO –

When the Full Moon arrives tomorrow, we have an influx of even more intensive energy to see the truth in what has been idealization, illusion, or deception. The Full Moon will happen at 01 Virgo and the energetic of “in a portrait, the best of a man’s features and traits are idealized.” Who is the wizard behind the curtain? The remainder of the month isn’t going to go well for him. It’s just not a time when he can get away with deceptions and trying to divert our attention. There are just too many planets stacked against him.

Ep 21 Transcript: The Hallowed Collection of Suffixes

Episode 21

[intro music]

PAZ: Hi everyone, welcome back to Stairway to Starclan, a Warrior Cats read pawdcast. I'm Paz.

JULIAN: I'm Julian.

LIZ: And I'm Liz.

PAZ: And we're all back in our proper places right now, so no microphone swapping or anything. Back to our old ways. Well, I dub this set of chapters Murder Plot Number 3. Murder returns.

LIZ: Love to see it.

JULIAN: So new and exciting.

PAZ: Yeah, I think we needed a little murder. It's been a while. But I'll go into the summaries so we can find out--

JULIAN: Wait, did I miss the intro?

PAZ: We did the intro before.

JULIAN: I forgot.

PAZ: And then we had problems. But the magic of audio editing is I can just cut all that, and--

JULIAN: Hell yes.

PAZ: People will never know. Chapter 15. The chapter opens on the hunting patrol led by Longtail, who is overseeing Fireheart and Graystripe after their demotion to apprentice activities. Longtail mocks them, calling Fireheart Firepaw, and Fireheart threatens him in return. The three leave to hunt, and Longtail continues to cause problems. Eventually they manage to catch some prey and return to camp, and Fireheart visits Cinderpaw and Yellowfang. Cinderpaw is learning how to make a poultice for Smallear. Yellowfang explains to Fireheart that Smallear has stiff joints because his bedding was too damp, and sends Fireheart to scold Cloudkit.

When Fireheart arrives at the elders' den, Cloudkit is listening intently to a story from Halftail. Fireheart says that Yellowfang thinks Cloudkit has been bringing in damp bedding, and all the elders rush to defend Cloudkit. Fireheart leaves knowing he won't get anywhere with the elders defending him. Back in the camp clearing, Fireheart sees Tigerclaw sharing tongues with Brokentail like old friends. Fireheart is surprised to see Tigerclaw being compassionate, and wonders again if he's wrong about Tigerclaw definitely being a murderer. However, he can't make himself believe Tigerclaw is innocent.

Chapter 16. Fireheart wakes up and muses about how much it sucks to sleep in the apprentice den for babies. As he leaves, Bluestar and Tigerclaw call him over and inform him that his punishment is done. Bluestar then sends Fireheart on a patrol with Tigerclaw to find a way to cross the stream for the upcoming gathering. Tigerclaw brings Longtail along as well, and Fireheart feels anxious about going out with two cats who hate him.

Out in the forest, newleaf has truly begun. Fireheart relaxes a little as Tigerclaw praises him for his hunting. When they reach a stream, they see that it is still flooded. The three look for a crossing place, and eventually they see a thin and unstable branch across the deepest part of the water. Tigerclaw forces Fireheart to climb out onto the branch to see if it's safe. Halfway through, the branch dislodges and throws Fireheart into the fast-moving water, just after Tigerclaw yells at him to get back.

Chapter 17. Fireheart desperately tries to keep hold of the branch as it rushes down the river. Just as he is on the edge of consciousness and nearly drowned, the branch catches on a rock and Longtail helps haul him out of the water. Tigerclaw decides they will return to camp, as there is no place to cross. Fireheart wonders if Tigerclaw dislodged the branch on purpose as an attempt to murder him. When Fireheart glances at Tigerclaw, who is openly glaring at him, Fireheart decides he definitely just tried to murder him. Fireheart wonders what murder attempt number three will be.

Back at camp, Sandstorm is alarmed to see Fireheart in such a bad shape. She stays close to him as the cats report back to Bluestar. Bluestar is not happy to hear that there is no crossing place because she thinks Starclan will be angry if they don't attend.

Fireheart then goes to Yellowfang to get checked over. Once there, Fireheart is examined by Cinderpaw. Cinderpaw gives him the all clear, and Yellowfang trusts her skills enough to second her diagnosis. Yellowfang then asks Cinderpaw if she would like to officially become the medicine cat apprentice. Cinderpaw is overjoyed and immediately accepts. Fireheart is happy to see Cinderpaw so excited. After sleeping, Fireheart is called out to a clan meeting where Bluestar names Cinderpaw the new medicine cat apprentice. Everyone in the clan approves and happily congratulates Cinderpaw. And that's the end of our meeting.

LIZ: Yay.

JULIAN: Yay.

PAZ: Yay, clap, clap, clap. Finally. I guess we go in order, kind of, but I gotta say I was expecting the apprentice punishment to last more than one chapter.

JULIAN: I know. It was over so fast.

PAZ: Like there's a sort of timeskip. I think in fiction, it was longer than like one day, but.

LIZ: Yeah, it felt like he just got grounded.

PAZ: He didn't even get grounded. He was like, you can't go to the movies tonight. That's it. Like after tonight, though. I guess it was just there to have Longtail be a little bitch. That was the purpose of it.

JULIAN: They had to go on the world's worst hunting patrol, and then they were done.

LIZ: God.

PAZ: God. Longtail sucks. What's his issue?

JULIAN: He's awful. He's just a little bitch for no reason.

PAZ: I guess it's because he's cat racist, but geez.

JULIAN: Like, this is skipping ahead a little bit, but like, while Fireheart is like clinging to the branch in imminent danger of dying, Longtail's like, hurry up, kittypet, or something like that, like. What?

PAZ: I mean, I guess at least he does save his life. He doesn't like Mufasa Firepaw into the river, but like that's a low bar.

JULIAN: Yeah, he does save his life, but he's racist at him while he does it.

LIZ: Saves your life racistly.

PAZ: Thanks. I love it. Yeah, I guess this set of chapters, like literally, the first sentence in this set of chapters is Longtail being like, well if it isn't our newest apprentice, Firepaw. Like okay, bitch. Won't even call him by the right name.

JULIAN: Awful.

PAZ: And in the little bit where Fireheart's like, damn, it sucks sleeping in the teen room, it mentions that I think Swiftpaw, who's Longtail's apprentice, is also being rude as hell. And it's like great, it's just, it's all getting passed down.

JULIAN: God. I think it's also like, not only is Swiftpaw like real shitty, but Brackenpaw's really awkward.

PAZ: I know. That part is very funny. It was like one sentence, but.

JULIAN: Which makes sense, because imagine if your teacher came back to, like, boarding school and was in your dorm.

PAZ: Oh my god.

LIZ: This is my new roommate, Professor Fireheart.

PAZ: Yeah, cause by all means Fireheart is his mentor, because Graystripe is doing fuck all.

JULIAN: I was doing the transcriptions for like some of the earlier episodes, and like we really did a 180 on Graystripe. Cause when they first start mentoring, there's one point where Firepaw fucks off to visit his sister, and Graystripe takes the apprentices for the day, and we're all like, ugh, Fireheart, what a deadbeat.

LIZ: Yeah, he did it once, and then he turned it around.

JULIAN: He did turn it around.

PAZ: Yeah, Fireheart is an example of how to balance your sneaking out to visit someone you shouldn't be and work-life balance.

JULIAN: It's important to have that balance.

PAZ: Graystripe needs to learn a thing or two. But the Brackenpaw oh, my teacher is in my dorm room, it's like the 100 times worse scenario of you see your teacher at the grocery store, and it's awkward, because you're like, oh, they exist outside of class.

JULIAN: Not only does he exist, but you have to sleep in the same sort of room.

LIZ: No.

PAZ: The more I think about this, the worse this is. This is horrible. I know they're little cats, but still.

LIZ: I keep imagining like the apprentices den as like, you know when people like foster kittens and they have like that little kitten area with like the blocked off door?

PAZ: Uh-huh.

LIZ: Yeah, it's just like that except you just have a fully grown cat back in there.

JULIAN: Yeah, Fireheart has to sleep in the apprentice den but like his legs are sticking out because he doesn't fit.

LIZ: Oh no.

PAZ: Fireheart does get to threaten Longtail again, which is great. I didn't realize he'd torn Longtail's ear when he was a baby.

JULIAN: Oh yeah. The original fight.

PAZ: Yeah, I just didn't realize he got like a scar from that. How embarrassing. You're gonna be like, a racist little bitch to this guy who gave you like a permanent scar? Okay. Looking real badass.

JULIAN: You're gonna be a racist little bitch to this guy who gave you a permanent scar in his second fight ever in his life?

PAZ: Right.

LIZ: Got beat up by this baby.

JULIAN: After you've been training to like fight and whatever for like six months or however long?

PAZ: Longtail's such a loser.

LIZ: He is.

PAZ: There's a part--

JULIAN: He really has the energy of like townie homophobe.

PAZ: There was a part, too, where he was like, oh, you better not touch me. Like Tigerclaw will get you if you do. And I'm like, I don't think Tigerclaw's gonna rush to your defense, my guy.

JULIAN: Right.

PAZ: Think this is one-sided.

JULIAN: Your faith seems a little misplaced.

PAZ: Very pathetic little man. And then he says some something stupid and like scares off this bird, and then blames Fireheart. Awful. You do know that these cats are British, though, because he does say rubbish.

LIZ: God.

JULIAN: Which is very funny because like, don't the cats called rubbish like, I don't know.

PAZ: Crowfood? It's crowfood, right?

JULIAN: Yeah.

PAZ: Rubbish is only an expression in these cats' world. There's no other meaning.

JULIAN: It's just a series of nonsense sounds. Like the bit with Yellowfang-- I mean, there's multiple bits with Yellowfang, but I'm glad we get more Yellowfang screentime. The part where she tells Fireheart off, or doesn't tell him off, but is just like, oh, you should have known you would have gotten caught is like both very cute and also like... how does she feel about Fireheart helping other clans?

PAZ: Yeah, I made a note that like, it seems like everyone knows that he's in trouble for helping RiverClan because I think it says Yellowfang heard it from Runningwind. But I'm like, I wish we'd gotten more reactions to that because it seems kind of... seems like it'd be a big deal. But I guess not.

LIZ: It feels set up to be a big deal.

PAZ: Yeah, and then they're only punished for one chapter. Cause I feel like it's also implied Tigerclaw told Longtail too. And he also doesn't really say anything. I don't know. Maybe it'll come up at like the gathering.

JULIAN: I would kind of expect Longtail to be less racist and more like upset about Fireheart helping RiverClan, or racist about that. Like the fact that it doesn't come up at all is weird.

PAZ: Unless it's like Runningwind just said to Yellowfang, they're on apprentice duties, and Yellowfang heard from her wife, Bluestar, why. That's an alternative scenario.

JULIAN: Right, of course.

PAZ: But yeah, the scene in chapter 15 with Yellowfang and Cinderpaw is cute. And then the following scene with Cloudkit and the elders is the best. I love it.

JULIAN: It's adorable.

LIZ: It is.

PAZ: Grandparents love this kid.

JULIAN: It really has the energy of like... I used to go to visit my grandma in her nursing home a lot, and we'd like stay overnight there because it was like a really long drive. And every so often like one of us kids would just sort of wander off, and my parents would find like my brother or whatever surrounded by old people.

PAZ: Yes.

JULIAN: That's what's happening here.

PAZ: Yeah, the thing is like Yellowfang's all like Smallear's stiff joints or whatever-- it's just arthritis-- is so bad. All the damp bedding. Go tell off your nephew or whatever. And Fireheart gets there, and all the other old cats are like, Smallear's just whiny. We love this child. Don't say anything bad.

JULIAN: Cloudkit's never done a thing wrong, ever in his life.

PAZ: The Cloudkit defenders have logged on. They're in the elders' den.

LIZ: They have.

JULIAN: The Cloudkit defenders are posting minions memes on Facebook.

PAZ: Oh no. They are. They're also that picture that's like the grandma commenting on the photo like, gorgeous picture, beautiful granddaughter, like 10 times.

LIZ: My god.

PAZ: It's very cute that Cloudkit loves to listen to the old people.

JULIAN: It's also like, I don't know, it's really nice to see him getting integrated into like clan life this way.

PAZ: And it's like, you can't talk back against like the old people, like what they decide. Gotta respect them.

JULIAN: God, they're so salty about Smallear.

PAZ: It's really funny. Really threw Smallear under a bus for this child. I guess if you had to listen to someone complain constantly, and you live together, and you're old, you might get a little salty.

LIZ: And they do love this baby so much.

JULIAN: They adore this baby.

LIZ: He's a nice young man.

PAZ: He is a nice young man. After that scene, though, is Tigerclaw hanging out with Brokentail and Fireheart interpreting that as compassion. Extremely funny. You know this man schemes.

JULIAN: It sends him on like a whole thought spiral where he doubts everything he knows about Tigerclaw.

PAZ: I know.

JULIAN: And is like, maybe he's not so bad. Maybe I'm just wrong. Maybe I'm just too suspicious, and Tigerclaw is a good deputy and a good guy.

LIZ: Oh my god.

JULIAN: And it's like, buddy, he's scheming. He's plotting and scheming. He's aiming to be the fifth member of Brokentail's polycule or whatever.

PAZ: Tigerclaw saw that, and he's like, I gotta get in on that. I know, and like, I can't remember if this is the case that they were colluding before this or not. But the fact that it's like, they were sharing tongues like old friends, I'm like, mm.

LIZ: Wink.

PAZ: Maybe-- yeah. Wink wink. I'm like maybe this has been happening for a while, Fireheart.

JULIAN: Yeah, it's also like, this especially sucks because like Brokentail didn't even react when Yellowfang tried to share tongues with him.

PAZ: Yeah, it's really sad.

JULIAN: And now he's being all buddy-buddy with Tigerclaw and it makes me very sad.

PAZ: Yeah, that was sad. And that was also another reason that I think Fireheart should have been more suspicious, because Brokentail deliberately didn't react to like anybody else. And I'm like, maybe, maybe use your little noggin to think about why they might be getting along.

JULIAN: Well, it's especially-- Fireheart is like, "Fireheart had never seen anything to show that he had the compassion of a true leader until now." And it's like.

LIZ: Well.

JULIAN: And you still haven't

PAZ: Fireheart's just trying to be an ally. He's just like, wow.

LIZ: God.

JULIAN: Diversity win.

PAZ: Love is love.

JULIAN: These evil cats are gay.

PAZ: Finally.

LIZ: He did try to kill me as a child, but he is gay. Hmm. Makes you think.

JULIAN: More bisexual war criminals.

PAZ: This is what everyone's saying, and people just don't want to hear it. And then the next chapter is um, he's unpunished instantly.

JULIAN: Oh, there is-- at the end of chapter 15, there is a cute little turn of phrase, where, "as Fireheart padded more slowly ever to the pile of freshkill, he wished to the tips of his claws that he could be freed from the burden of what he knew."

LIZ: Aw.

PAZ: Aw, there's so many good little cat phrases. Longtail said something too, like I've seen like a three-legged rabbit do better, or something like that.

JULIAN: It must be so fun as an author to come up with those.

LIZ: Yeah, to the tips of his little beans.

JULIAN: Yeah.

PAZ: That has to be one of the best parts. Cause it's like, you have to come up with phrases in like fantasy and stuff too, but when it's humans, it's not that exciting. It's kind of boring, because you define still human terms of phases. But when they're little cats, you just do whatever you want.

JULIAN: There's another part where Tigerclaw's coat is described as rippling as he stands up.

PAZ: This cat is ripped.

LIZ: No, it's like, you know when you like touch the back of a cat, just the back of it, and it just like does that twitchy thing?

PAZ: Yes.

JULIAN: Yeah, that's what I was imagining, when a cat is angry or agitated, they like...

LIZ: They ripple.

PAZ: His huge muscles. I do just picture Tigerclaw as like a Maine coon cat now, massive.

JULIAN: Big boy.

LIZ: Big boy season.

JULIAN: Big boy sends Fireheart to branch hell.

PAZ: God. I think this is murder attempt number two on Fireheart.

JULIAN: So what's number one?

PAZ: When they were battling in WindClan camp, and like, I think it was Leopardfur who was getting ready to kill him, and Tigerclaw was just standing there watching, menacingly.

JULIAN: Was the Cinderpaw thing, was that an attempt on Bluestar or Fireheart? I don't remember.

PAZ: I think it was an attempt on Bluestar, because it was like he asked for Bluestar to come there, and then Bluestar was sick. So that's why Bluestar didn't come.

JULIAN: So we're only on attempt number two. God. As they're setting out, Fireheart is like, oh, I'm like, he has this image of the cats like murdering him in the woods. And then he's like, oh, no, I'm just being irrational. And it's like, no, buddy, I think you're being very rational.

PAZ: Right? You were thinking correctly for once. It's like, damn, why would Tigerclaw take just me and his lackey who hates me so bad out into the woods to look at water? Nothing could happen here.

LIZ: Boys' night. That's just boys' night. Just doing lad things.

JULIAN: Yep, just a cheeky near-death experience with the lads.

PAZ: This is just like those British lads hitting each other with chairs.

JULIAN: God.

LIZ: But that's what they are. They're British.

PAZ: They sure are. That's what Fireheart thinks Tigerclaw and Brokentail are doing, you know, the tender kiss afterwards.

JULIAN: It is like, Fireheart's response to being like, oh, I'm just being irrational is just to go, I'm gonna prove that I'm a warrior to them. I'm their equal. And it's just like, aw, buddy. Oh, buddy.

PAZ: You can't prove that if you get murdered.

JULIAN: Also you don't need to prove that.

LIZ: Noooo.

PAZ: No.

JULIAN: Longtail's incompetent, for one thing.

PAZ: Yeah, he doesn't seem very good at anything.

LIZ: No. And he got beat up by a baby. The baby was you.

JULIAN: He got beat up by a baby. He scared away that bird when they were hunting.

LIZ: He's cat racist.

PAZ: Not teaching his apprentice good things. Wouldn't go onto that scary branch.

JULIAN: Yeah, no.

PAZ: But this is like... god, this is like the second time Fireheart almost drowns within 10 chapters or something.

JULIAN: There's a lot of water peril.

PAZ: Yeah, this is a very flood-heavy book it seems like. I guess because it's a book focusing on RiverClan, sort of. That's the other like spotlighted clan, I feel like, this book, because of Graystripe.

JULIAN: Yeah, no Graystripe in these chapters.

PAZ: Yeah, no, none. The only way to not have anything to complain about with Graystripe is if he doesn't do anything.

JULIAN: Graystripe fans, you get a reprieve.

PAZ: Tigerclaw, I think he like tries to cover his tracks in an interesting way though, where he pretends to warn Fireheart right before he falls to his doom. Which is, I mean, I guess it's like, Longtail sucks ass but he doesn't know Tigerclaw's a murder man at the very least.

LIZ: Murder man.

JULIAN: [to the tune of the Batman theme song] Murder man, murder man.

PAZ: Cause like when Fireheart's trying to figure out if Tigerclaw did in fact just try to kill him, he's like, oh, but he wouldn't do that in front of Longtail. But then he's like, maybe he did it in a way Longtail wasn't paying attention.

JULIAN: It's also like I wouldn't put it past Tigerclaw to do it in front of Longtail and then intimidate Longtail into...

PAZ: That's true.

JULIAN: Like, he's already done this with Ravenpaw and, like Longtail is probably easier for Tigerclaw to intimidate slash try to get onto his side.

PAZ: I mean, he could probably manipulate Longtail pretty easily without, like, I don't know, just give him some shit about how Fireheart's like a traitor.

JULIAN: It was for the good of the clan.

LIZ: There's a part where Fireheart says like, Longtail may be terrible and a jerk and suck and also cat racist, but he's honorable and would never let another warrior die. I don't recall this ever coming up ever before.

PAZ: I don't think it did, but I think it's just like a point of like, he sucks ass, but he did help Fireheart because he's at the baseline, like clan loyalty, I guess.

JULIAN: Yeah, I mean, there is--

PAZ: As opposed to Tigerclaw who loves to kill.

JULIAN: Like I think what Liz is talking about, there is specifically a point where like the code, the clan code is like specifically mentioned, about sticking rigidly to it when another warrior needs your help.

PAZ: That code's whatever you want it to be.

JULIAN: What is-- open the sacred text. What do they say?

JULIAN: The hunting seems like a bigger deal than the trespassing.

PAZ: Yeah, but also like, everyone's been hunting everywhere. Like RiverClan's been hunting in ThunderClan, and I think Bluestar was saying like oh, we should go hunt in RiverClan. Then RiverClan was hunting in WindClan and ShadowClan was... WindClan's the only one who's stuck by this so far.

JULIAN: WindClan, you should branch out. No borders.

PAZ: WindClan, you can just move.

LIZ: They should just move. This is terrible.

There was that weird thing that came up at one point where it's like, they bury the bones or whatever, so yeah. "A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice." Child labor laws. PAZ: I've gotten used to it, but it's still very funny that this is a important detail in Warriors lore. See, number 12. I feel... if this is part of the warrior code, then why is everyone suspicious when they help those kits? "12, No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different clan."

LIZ: They're constantly suspicious of other kits.

PAZ: Is this like a new one? Is this one that happened after everyone was like, hey, maybe we shouldn't let babies die?

PAZ: Yeah, that came out I think after the first series had finished, maybe.

LIZ: Right? They do, don't they?

PAZ: Yes, they do. What are you talking about?

LIZ: I mean, I've never-- have we ever seen it?

JULIAN: I guess we haven't seen it in the series.

LIZ: Yeah, I know cats in general climb trees.

PAZ: Oh, okay.

PAZ: Well, Liz, don't you remember from the very first episode SkyClan? Their very powerful lights for climbing trees.

PAZ: Cute Cinderpaw and Yellowfang content. When Yellowfang asks Cinderpaw to be her apprentice, finally, she's like, you're the only cat I can stand. It's very cute, like old lady loves new daughter.

JULIAN: Yeah, and like Cinderpaw's reaction to her praise is like really, really-- the whole interaction is like... Yellowfang's like, oh, you're a really smart learner and like I see so many stupid cats that it's really nice.

PAZ: Yellowfang's like, I'm surrounded by idiots constantly. Thank God you're here, Cinderpaw.

JULIAN: And Cinderpaw sort of interrupts her to thank her, and Yellowfang is like, be quiet. I haven't finished.

PAZ: I love Yellowfang so much.

JULIAN: Oh, it's so good. And like, you know, I still don't.... I still wish that Cinderpaw had had more choices. But like, I am glad that she has something that she's excited about.

PAZ: Yeah, she's like-- for some reason I thought she was like, more forced into it, like in the sense of like her character being unwilling than she is. She's genuinely excited here. But I think I was just thinking of Jaypaw and the Power of Three. I must have just been mixing that up. But I'm glad she's hyped for it.

JULIAN: Yeah. And like, I also-- I don't know if I'll be eating my words later, but when they're like, oh, you have to make the journey to the Moonstone, no one is like, oh, she can't do it.

PAZ: Yeah, I was really worried they were gonna say something. And it was just like no, whatever.

LIZ: Yeah, like, as an individual thing for her, and like as the first instance of this happening, it's like not as terrible as I was expecting, because you know, she is excited for it, which is nice, because there's so much like in her earlier scenes about how she felt like, you know, insecure and stuff.

JULIAN: Yeah, it's really nice to see her like, confident and like-- both confident and competent.

PAZ: And it was like a sweet scene at the end of the chapter where the whole clan is happy about it and seemed very like confident in her being a good medicine cat, presumably because she's just been doing that already.

JULIAN: Even Tigerclaw goes up to her and congratulates her.

PAZ: It's so funny.

LIZ: Even-- listen, even terrible evil guys need doctors eventually.

PAZ: That's true, yeah.

JULIAN: I don't remember. Has Fireheart ever had a conversation with Yellowfang about Tigerclaw being absolutely awful?

PAZ: I can't remember, either. I feel like there might have been something where Yellowfang was like, yeah, he seems kind of like bad news. But I'm not sure if he's ever told-- I don't think he's told everything to Yellowfang. I don't know. Which he should. Yellowfang's like way more reliable than Bluestar.

JULIAN: Also she's seen this kind of thing before.

PAZ: Yeah, exactly. She knows evil cats. She can also talk to ghosts, you know. That'd probably be helpful. She could call up Redtail and be like, yo.

PAZ: You were posting something about the naming styles Fanlore article, right, Julian?

JULIAN: Oh god, yeah.

I like found a-- I was looking on Fanlore for Warrior Cats stuff, obviously, because I wanted to see if there was any ancient drama. Did not find any ancient drama, probably because Fanlore is--

PAZ: I know there has to be, though.

JULIAN: I know there is some. I think Fanlore like skews towards such particular fandoms and like particular fandom circles that like--

PAZ: Yeah, it's also like, I feel like a lot of ancient drama in Warriors fandom is between like 13 year olds, which is definitely a different brand of drama than like, whatever the fuck Cassandra Clare was doing.

JULIAN: But there's a whole article about fan naming styles in Warrior Cats.

LIZ: God. Thank God.

JULIAN: So it goes over sort of the naming convention in canon. And then the controversy is between traditionalism and lyricalism.

LIZ: Oh my God.

PAZ: What an incredible name for that. We know where Peyton is.

JULIAN: God. Yep. We sure do. Yeah. Shall I read some of this?

LIZ: Please.

JULIAN: Alright. "Traditional naming. Traditionalism attempts to introduce structure and reason to the canon naming system, which many fans feel contributes to more satisfying and nuanced world building overall." Also, I just want to say, there are no like citations for any of this.

JULIAN: "Prefixes in traditional systems will almost always refer to the dominant color of a cat's pelt, although some traditionalists will also accept prefixes that only refer to a cat's size."

JULIAN: "Eg, a cat born in a storm could only be given the prefix Storm if they were predominantly gray."

Eg, tail is to recognize agility, as cats use their tails for balance." I don't-- are we sure about this? I don't think the Erin Hunters were giving it this much thought.

PAZ: "Cats may be given neutral suffixes if their skills or personalities aren't described by a suffix on the list, eg, fur, pelt." Yeah. "Or else they may be given suffixes that further describe their appearances, eg, stripe for a tabby, face for an attractive cat." Canon is inconsistent about whether naming cats for their disability is considered demeaning, and the tradition has lately been dropped after the first arc."

JULIAN: Yeah. Yeah, good.

LIZ: Okay, that's good to hear.

PAZ: Good. It should be, because it's weird as hell.

LIZ: It's like, you don't-- why would you rename-- like what if your name was just like, Brownpelt. Do you stop being Brownpelt? I don't think so.

PAZ: What? They're born with those toes.

More unbridled or high lyricism tends to allow virtually anything, as long as the fan finds them pleasing or pretty, and also encompasses fans who create deliberately silly names for the sake of humor. Naturalist or low lyricism essentially follows the style used by the Erin Hunter team in canon, especially in later arcs, when they started prioritizing using new and unique combinations of names."

PAZ: Cause Peyton just had issue with like you know, sacred words, objects they wouldn't know about. Wow. Sorry for thinking you were the most strict someone could be.

JULIAN: Yeah, I had no idea that you could get stricter, but here we are.

PAZ: Yeah.

For example, a creator might worldbuild a history of how certain suffixes develop, or a character might try to develop the skills to earn a certain suffix so they can be named after someone they admire. While in turn, they do not understand how lyricists could use a system that is so undefined and could create such outlandish names."

PAZ: Meanwhile, I as a child was reading fanfic about cats with wings and like self-inserts getting turned into cats and being like tigers. You know, all that stuff. If we had met as children we would have been diametrically opposed.

JULIAN: I was a child who really liked lists. Like, my main contribution to the Warriors fandom besides RPing was that-- I think I've talked about this before, but I like painstakingly went through the first arc and copied down all of the places where like medicine cat herbs were listed.

PAZ: Yeah, I think you did.

JULIAN: And like made a little Word doc of them for the person who was going to be my medicine cat apprentice, so that they could use the right herbs for the right situation. And then three months later Secrets of the Clans came out and it had like all of that in it.

LIZ: Oh my god. No, I feel you.

PAZ: Tragedy.

LIZ: I would have printed this out, punched holes in it, and put it in my binder.

PAZ: No, I don't think I was that kind of child. Wow, this has been very informative.

JULIAN: Yeah, I wish there were links to anything other than this one person's blog. But.

PAZ: This is a very new article, though.

JULIAN: This is brand new. Also I feel like a lot of these debates have been lost to the mists of time.

PAZ: God, yeah.

JULIAN: Because I imagine--

PAZ: Yeah, but I mean, I guess names are definitely important in the series. I mean, there's like every time there's a name change, it's like a big scene or something. So that makes sense.

JULIAN: I also think it gives 12 year olds an outlet to judge other 12 year olds, which is very important.

PAZ: It's essential.

LIZ: It's the most important part of being a 12 year old, which is character creation.

JULIAN: That is true.

PAZ: Well, I don't have anything else to add. This plus the wizard narrator really took it out of me.

LIZ: Sorry, I am looking at one of the linked articles on lyrical naming, which is "On naming lyrical substyles." Can I just tell you what the types are, cause they're very good?

PAZ: Yes, please.

LIZ: There is temperate, or moderate lyricism. Unbridled lyricism. Of course, high and low lyricism.

JULIAN: Where do you think, where does Hadesclipse fall?

LIZ: Unbridled. No restraints.

YAY!!! Today is my first day going out in almost 4 months! Ahhh, I have missed it. I have missed dressing up in pink, girlie dresses. Putting on makeup. Wearing my pink flower headbands. Seeing all my friends that work in the grocery store. In the county where I live there is still 533 active cases but there has been no change or a decline in cases recently. And the towns where I go to have 22 or 21 or less. Thank you, Jesus! We are now in phase 2 of reopening. I’m really praying all goes well and no one around me is sick! More and more people are going out so I have faith that I will survive. The Moon is just about ready to meet the Sun in Sagittarius and that will bring something else to the table besides the upcoming turkey on Thanksgiving Day. Since the truth is still delayed just enjoy your fixings for the holiday and in time the dessert will show up. And many will be hiding in the depths. Just watch the show. Wake up world wake up today. The energy is so negative it cuts and betrays. Stay in your truth and stop following the crowd. Nothing is worse than a mouth that is loud. Find your own truth and let it expand. Look deep within and forget the noisy band. Bring to the surface the love and goodwill. Then you will find that you need not a pill. The theater crowd is getting more boisterous as days roll on. It is amazing how life in this country is so unruly. Of course, this whole scenario is a bad play. I take no sides in this drama. If I did the crowd would pounce on me with unnecessary harshness. I pick no sides. So, I stay silent and watch and wait and most will be quite surprised at the outcome of this presentation. Will it be a repeat or will it move forward? Those who run this expose’ are dark as one can get. Yet the public supports the negative energy and it continues to grow and expand. And as long as the money comes and enhances the existence of those in the limelight and those who are hidden, that is the bottomline. What happened to truth? Oh, my, truth dear ones will bring the charade of this lifetime totally in your face and that will not make most happy. How will you take that truth that is revealed? It has been delayed in coming out due to some manipulation or control on someone’s part? Once truth shows up then you have to transmute the debris of that illusion that still hangs around. Oh, by the way, did you remember that JFK was taken away from this country 56 years ago on November 22? Did not see any mention in the news. Maybe those who are in the frenzy at the moment need to watch JFK’s “What Kind of Peace Do We Seek?” Sounds familiar!!! He was gone 6 months later. Puzzle solved. Even though the vibrations have been intense lately does not mean that you have to get pulled into the angry frenzy that is going on. Where will you be as the NEW MOON in SAGITTARIUS is upon us? It occurs on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 10:05 am EST; 7:05 am PST; and 3:05 pm GMT in 4 degrees 3’. The Sun is in the exact degree in Sagittarius. The New Moon in Sagittarius may bring benefits to many of you but you have to pay attention. It all depends where it falls in your chart also. The depositor of the New Moon is Jupiter which is out of sign trine to Uranus. Oh, wow, this can actually indicate that those strong personalities out there can get along with others at this time. This is more in the political realm yet can also occur in the family type situation. Harmony can be present. This is a plus. Since Sagittarians like to think in a different way at times it may be good at the New Moon just to stay on track. Just because you are on track has no reference to being resistant. Why do I say this? As this energy comes in those old resentments and anger from the past may show up. Of course, you don’t wish to stuff it either. When those past hurts come up, which they will, stay your course and deal with them without taking them out on anyone who happens to be present. Watch you don’t fall back into the judgement and criticism trap. The New Moon in Sagittarius is also conjunct the warrior asteroid, Pallas Athene. This gives the opportunity of accessing the head and the heart and coming up with different aspects to doing things through creative intelligence. Wisdom and knowledge is in the same room. Use it to expand your heartsong spirit. New Moon in Sagittarius is also quincunx Uranus in Taurus. Where is your life not working? What have you overlooked and unexpectedly you see something? Someone may help you out of the blue. You may seek help from another regarding an issue relating to health and wellness. Watch your carbs at this time. Choose blueberries instead of cupcakes. Sugar is not a good thing to overdo at this New Moon. And Jupiter in Sagittarius is out-of-sign trine to Uranus in Taurus which tells you instead of fighting someone there may be a harmonious interaction. By the way it explains much in my life. I have the Moon quincunx Uranus in my natal chart and this is no easy thing. Uranus stands for the truth and revelation, so it can happen that those have this in their chart will risk exile by speaking truth that the populous find hard to accept. Well, can I say it any better than that? Nope. Life is. Jupiter as the ruler of Sagittarius is in out-of-sign conjunction to Venus in Capricorn. Venus enters Capricorn on November 25, 2019. This means that Venus in Capricorn is a time of approaching our relationships in a mature way. There are rules involved too for any romantic intentions. It gives you the energy to create something new and follow it through to completion. This can be in an artistic or career project. Mercury went direct on November 21st so let’s all cheer that life can be a bit more clear. Yay! As you know new moons are about setting intentions. Sagittarius is about truth and purpose and a new meaning. The Sagittarian is generous with time and money. Fires burn wherever desire takes them. The Sagittarian can shoot the arrow into the air and it can go out there, anywhere it chooses or can shoot and the arrow comes back and hits them with a vision. Sagittarius likes to teach and is very good at doing so. With the New Moon in Sagittarius it is time for possible travel, bringing to fruition new possibilities and for developing deeper understanding. What are you going to do with this energy? Where does it fall in your chart? Those affected most intensely by the New Moon energy are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces/0-7 degrees of the Sun signs or Rising signs). Make new business contacts. Professional activities. The Pages of Shustah card three card spread says this about the New Moon: Mystery may be revealed with change of focus.
