Random Haikyuu x Reader Head Cannons

Kuroo:

He actually doesn’t cuddle you in your sleep. Controversial, I know but given his sleeping position, he just can’t.

To every rule there is an exception: He will cuddle you til you fall asleep. After you’re asleep, he removes his arms from you.

In my Kagehina feels, so y’all are getting my headcanons

-they got together in their first year after Kageyama’s second crowning

-this happened in the most Kagehina way possible, where they were walking home together and Kageyama just says ‘I think I want to date you, dumbass’

-Hinata says ‘think I wanna date you too, asshole’ and that’s it, they’re dating now

-sure, the conversation following the confession is a bit more emotionaly charged and Kageyama thanks Hinata for the support, but there’s no more mention to the nature of their relationship

-they continue on in their relationship up to their third year

-no one notices

-this is because nothing changed. Sure, they are physicaly close, but they basicaly fell asleep on each others’ shoulders before this, it’s not like them holding hands is weird

-they don’t really enjoy kissing, because it’s just weird to do so

-until they find out about the horizontal tango in their third year

-this kinda expands their horizons, but they still dislike kissing in public without any followup, because they’re very competetive in everything, including bedroom activities

-Yamaguchi, Yachi and Tsukishima kinda think something is going on, but they’re never sure and it’s driving them insane

-anyone can ask ‘Hinata, is Kageyama your partner?’ And the answer will be ‘yes’ but the answer has been yes for three years now goddamit and surely the two of them couldn’t have been together for THAT long, right????

-their touches border platonic and romantic, but they never really cared about the distinctions, so who even KNOWS

-they spend a shitton of time together, but that’s NORMAL, stil

-chaos in the gc. Their senpais get in on this and it’s a whole bet going on

-Brazil time. Why should they ‘take a break’? Nah, they’re fine, long distance is no problem for either of them as long as they get to talk to each other weekly

-Oh sure, they miss the physical aspects of their relationship, but the way they feel about each other hasn’t changed at all and they both know Hinata is doing this for the both of them

-that being said, when Hinata gets back from Brazil, Kageyama is the one to go pick him up and then doesn’t show up at practice for two days straight because they keep each other ‘occupied’

-they both also cry when they meet at the airport. The only lucky thing is that this was at two in the morning on a Tuesday and Hinata was nowhere near as popular as after his MSBY debut, otherwise Kageyama would’ve probably been followed by at least three journalists and their ‘Welcome home’ kiss would’ve ended up plastered on every single sports magazíne cover the next morning

-as soon as they settle into their new routine, the ‘when will they get together/are they together yet’ game starts on a bigger scale, now including their V-League teammates

-Kageyama comes to practice bruised up? The bruises look natural and could be from a number of other activities he regularly does

-Hinata has scratches on his arms? It’s a well known fact that he’s very fond of cats and has been seen petting a stray one just the day before

-both of them drop out of practice on the same day and are seen together? Turns out Hinata’s sister came to visit and she just LOVES Tobio, really, how could you deny the Hinata smile™️ anything?

-they call each other by their first names? Oh, they’ve known each other for AGES

-they share an apartment sometimes? Tokyo is EXPENSIVE and Tobio lives so close to the Adlers gym, why waste an opportunity to play volleyball together?

-funny thing is that they’re not even the ones comming up with the excuses, it’s just the two sides of the bet arguing over the possibility of their win

-and along comes Japan national team

-they win their first gold together

-and kiss on the olympic court

-afterwards, both of them look so giddy and shocked that EVERYONE assumes they must’ve just gotten together. And really, that has always been the more popular assumption, because the two of them can be DENSE

-read a really funny fic where Kageyama was doing a press conference and he was asked who his favourite spiker he ever played with was and instead of saying someone from his current team, he just said Hinata (they do this constantly)

-so it’s not that big of a surprise. Money is payed out to the assumed winners, there’s a general sense of great ease and everyone congratulates the two of them

-they seem confused about the congratulations, but then again, it has been a very emotional day for the both of them

-well, there’s an afterparty for the national team

-Kageyama and Hinata sit next to each other on one of the couches and the team is huddled around them and everyone is just having a good time

-and then Hinata turns to Kageyama and says ‘Hey, let’s just get married after the games end’

-the party grows quiet

-Kageyama’s response? ‘Oh, sure, works with me’

-you could hear a pin drop

-and the two of them just try to continue on with the conversation that the question interupted

-then Bokuto, bless his heart, and Ushijima, no social awareness extraordinare, congratulate them on their engagement, to which Kagehina smile and thank them and then try to pull them into the conversation

-Atsumu is the one to speak up next

-‘um. Shouyo-kun, I don’t want to be mean or anything. But uh. Don’t you think it would be better to wait with the engagement a bit? I mean, I know you two have known each other for years and all, but then again, you just got together. Wouldn’t it be better to think this through a bit more?’

-…

-Hinata and Kageyama look at each other

-wide eyes, they mouth Atsumu’s sentence back to each other

-then Hinata bursts out into laughter and burries his face in Kageyama’s shirt

-Kageyama snorts and gets redder than the Japan jersey

-everyone else is confused as fuck, that is until Hinata manages to get his breath back

-this time it’s Kageyama who loses it and hides his face in Hinata’s shoulder

-that night causes more chaos in the V-League comunity than anything else in the past decade in the least

-next morning, after a LOT of phonecalls, a post appears on all of Ninja Shouyo’s social media accounts, with only a ‘We’re here’ and a photo of Kagehina, with their olympic jerseys on and showing off their gold medals

-and under all of these, the first comment is always from the underused, almost empty accounts of one Kageyama Tobio, stating ‘can’t wait to marry you’

Osamu is the mighty boss of Onigiri Miya, resourceful, confident, efficient, a leader who takes no shit from horrible customers and will face unexpected problems head on. But sometimes, running a restaurant is so stressful. He was having a bad day, plagued by stress and pressure of servicing customers, keeping track of products and finances and employees on time. Even on his mind, he wonders and calculates and thinks how his business can be more successful and how to avoid losses. The next day, he broke down upon discovering he forgot to wash his laundry.

He woke up early, before Suna. As usual, before making breakfast, he would check his chores and the state of the house. Not that he didn't complete them the day before-

A basket of 2-weeks worth of dirty laundry, which he had promised himself to deal with yesterday.

God, was he so stuck up with dealing with restaurant problems? How could he forget such an important chore? Now how would he have clothes in store to wear? He already woke up hung-over with light sleep, and his forgetfulness of yesterday might just kill him.

He doesn't cry, he swear. Atsumu only saw him cry when they were kids. Osamu would shrug it off and move on, solving the problem as quick as possible before having a quick lunch and open Onigiri Miya on time.

And it feels so difficult. Waking up at 5, driving one hour to the city center, and opening the shop at 6, then go home at 11 to his husband at 12. His employees wonder how the boss could keep up such a scary lifestyle, and right now, Osamu wonders it too.

Meanwhile, Suna found himself lacking Osamu's warmth in the bed, and got up to find him. It was no surprise Osamu would wake up early and leave Suna completely in deep sleep. But he'd always kiss him before going to work silently.

Suna went outside, to see Osamu sitting and staring at the laundry. Chests heaving. Osamu was distressed. As he got closer to Osamu, he realized the man was crying silent tears. He wouldn't look up at Suna, but Suna knew.

But Suna was terrified too. For the first time Suna could recount, Osamu cried. He had never noticed him crying before, even though Osamu often asks him for comfort when he's down. Suna had doesn't know how to comfort someone when crying, and he's afraid he might hurt Osamu. But he has to do something, because he cannot let him cry like that.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing. I have to get ready for work."

"No. Really what's wrong? If it's about the laundry then I can do it for you. No need to beat yourself over that."

Suna shook his shoulders. Voice full of confidence. Not what he often does to comfort Osamu. Even holding Osamu's hands in his to maximize the effect.

"Fine. It's stress. Running the restaurant's hard, you know?"

"Then take a day off. Relax. I don't want you to cry again. Go to sleep, and you'll feel better after that."

"Promise?" Osamu looked up at him in teary and weary eyes.

Suna wasn't sure what he said was true, but he has to go through it. He wants to believe in it too.

"Promise."

"Thanks Rin, but I gotta go to work. They need me."

Suna guess he couldn't keep Osamu with him for too long before he'd be back at the restaurant, his work, his passion.

"But come back early, yeah. I want you to have a good night sleep." He said, dejectedly. He thought Osamu could stay with him and relax and take a day off work.

"Promise." Osamu wiped his tears, simply smiled and kissed Suna on the forehead as usual before leaving work. Now that's the familiar kiss before he goes to work. Suna went back to bed and tried to continue his sleep.

Osamu cries few tears, and for a few times. But he knows how to bounce back and carry on, with the right support. And one day, when the business gets better, he could allocate more time to his home and Sunarin.

you and suna have been dating for a little over a year and have no plans to ever reveal your relationship to the public. you are both popular twitch streamers, so thousands of eyes are watching the two of you, literally. “are you dating anyone?” is a common question you both get on social media. this question is always deflected or ignored. it’s been like that even before you started dating suna. you saw how social media destroyed your other friends’ relationships. people would either assume things or pray on their downfall out of jealousy. one of the worst was to be completely invalidated as a content creator and be labeled as someone’s girlfriend/boyfriend. you decided that the public did not need to know about this part of your life in order to protect your mental health.

you told suna early on into your relationship that you would prefer if it was kept private. while he was a bit sad that he can’t properly show everyone what an amazing significant other he has, he respects your decision and understands your reasoning. if it meant protecting you, then it was worth it. however, it sucked having to sneak around and never go out to different places for fear of someone catching you. he wanted to hug and kiss you whenever and wherever he wanted. now, he is only limited to doing intimate gestures in secluded areas or in your shared apartment.

eventually, enough was enough. the paranoia got too much to bear. this arrangement was having a negative effect on your relationship with him, the one thing you wanted to avoid. there has to be another way you two can go out together without rumors spreading, right? you and suna sat down and crafted an elaborate plan in order to be able to be seen together in public. after thorough research and several conversations with your streaming mutuals, you can bring this scheme to life and eventually spend as much time as you want with your boyfriend.

phase one: the third-wheel. you go out to dinner with suna and bring in kozume kenma (AKA kodzuken) to make a group of three because who would third-wheel a couple for dinner? it has to just be friends out together! you would post this on your instagram story and everyone would lose their minds. three big twitch streamers interacting with each other?! when worlds collide!

phase two: collabs. suna asked kiyoko shimizu and miya osamu to help you with this scheme as well. you would all do collabs with each other and establish this image of a group of friends. sometimes you play genshin impact with kenma and suna plays valorant with shimizu. other times you would play fall guys with the whole group. then, you sneak in a collab with suna. the public doesn’t suspect a thing.

phase three: group outings. you, suna, kenma, shimizu, and osamu would plan to go out together to various places and take pictures to post on social media. you attend conventions with them and go sight seeing together. your audience goes wild at the thought of you being with so many of their favorite streamers and wish you the best. you decide to post some group photos and include some photos with only suna or only kenma. suna does the same with you, shimizu, and osamu. you keep the number of people in each photo random to keep suspicion at minimum.

final phase: solidifying friendships. you, suna, and the rest of the group opened up instagram questions. the question you all answered was “who are your best friends?”. your list, in order, was yachi (your irl bestie), kenma, and suna. suna’s list, in order, was osamu, shimizu, and you. you both kept each other at third place to mess with people. if you are that low on each other’s list, then you must only be friends. at this point people started shipping you and kenma, while others starting shipping suna and shimizu. some people liked the idea of you and suna together, but it wasn’t as common.

your plan is working, so you can start to get away with spending more time out with suna. you would go out for lunch, visit the beach, and attend big events together without too many people suspecting anything. you found some comments that were like “do you think they’re dating?” but then you would see some replies to them denying it saying “they already stated multiple times that they’re only friends. if you hang out with your friends often, does that mean you’re dating them?” and it puts a big grin on your face. mission accomplished.

you both haven’t been very sloppy. you made sure to always mix in some one-on-one time with other friends in the group to keep rumors at bay. after all, if most your photos consists of alone time with suna, that would raise some eyebrows. while this set up had an ulterior motive, you grew close to the group and gained more meaningful friendships and connections. it was a win-win situation for everyone involved.

you still can’t freely show public displays of affection, but at least you can finally go out to different places with your boyfriend.

“y/n? they’re just a really close friend of mine. please don’t spread rumors. anything having to do with my relationships is private. thank you.” he firmly responds.

the people in chat apologize and the other people in his community are defending him saying to respect his privacy and friends. he feels relieved to have such a supportive community.

“thank you all so much for your support. i have to head off now, but i will be streaming again next friday! see you all then.” he waves to the camera and ends the stream. he double checks to make sure the stream is actually off and shuts down his PC.

suna walks out into the kitchen to see you cooking instant ramen. he sneaks up behind you to wrap his arms around your waist, making you jump. you relax once you realize it’s him and he nuzzles his face into your neck.

“hey rin, is stream over? how was it” you ask while petting his soft hair.

he hums and turns you around to stare at your beautiful face. he can’t believe how lucky he got. if only he could show the world...actually, maybe it’s a good thing your relationship is private. he gets to have your beauty all to himself.

“it was good, but some annoying people asked if we were dating again,” he pouted.

“eh, that’s chat being chat, i guess,” you sighed, “do you think they suspect anything?” you asked.

“no one suspects a thing,” he replies leaning his head down to give you a kiss.

A Kiyoomi Sakusa Fanfiction

Part 1

Y/N's heart pounds as she stares at the positive result on the pregnancy test. She has been expecting her period for days, and now, seeing the confirmation of her suspicions, she doesn't know what to do next. She wants to share the news with Sakusa Kiyoomi, but the thought of his reaction makes her anxious.

As soon as Sakusa returns home, she summons the courage to tell him. "Kiyoomi," she says softly, her voice trembling, "I'm pregnant."

For a moment, Sakusa is silent, but then he wraps his arms around her and holds her close. "Thank you," he whispers, his voice filled with emotion. Y/N looks up at him in surprise, and he continues, "I've always wanted a family with you."

Y/N's heart swells with happiness and relief. She knows that Sakusa isn't one to show his feelings openly, but his actions speak louder than words. He takes care of her like never before, ensuring that she eats healthy meals and gets enough rest. He even rearranges his schedule so that he can accompany her to her doctor's appointments.

The season is spring. The Quarter where Sakusa and Y/N lives has a garden adjacent to it. The flowers in the garden are blooming with vibrant colors of pink, yellow, purple, and white. Y/N and Sakusa often take walks in the garden, admiring the beauty and tranquility it offers.

Y/N shares her future plans with Sakusa, like choosing names, which room they should decorate for the baby, hoping for a brave, kind, beautiful, and healthy child. Sakusa doesn't say much, but he smiles, his love and devotion for Y/N evident in his eyes.

Part 2

The monsoon season had arrived, and the sky outside was overcast with dark, ominous clouds. The air was thick with the smell of wet earth, and the sound of raindrops tapping against the window filled the room. Y/N had been feeling uneasy for a few days, the humid weather taking its toll on her body. She was tired and had been experiencing mild cramps, but she didn't want to worry Sakusa, so she kept quiet.However, one morning, as she wakes up, Y/N suddenly feels a sharp pain in her abdomen and faints.

Sakusa goes to their bedroom to check on Y/N and finds her lying unconscious on the bed. He quickly picks her up and rushes her to the hospital. The doctors take her to a private room, and Sakusa calls their parents to inform them about the situation.

The hospital room was stark white, and the smell of disinfectant was overwhelming. Y/N struggled to sit up, but her body felt heavy and weak. She looked around, trying to make sense of what had happened.

Then, the doctor gave her the devastating news that Y/N had suffered a miscarriage. Her heart shattered into a million pieces. All her hopes and dreams for their future as a family were shattered in an instant.

As she lay on the hospital bed, tears streaming down her face, Sakusa sat beside her, holding her hand tightly. He didn't say anything, but his actions spoke volumes. He stroked her hair, wiped her tears, and held her close. The sound of rain pattering against the window provided a soothing backdrop to their grief.

The doctor came in and checked on Y/N, explaining the procedure for the next few hours. He also gave her some medication to help with the pain.

As the doctor left, Y/N turned to Sakusa, her eyes searching his face. "Why did this happen to us?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. "Did I do something wrong?"

Sakusa squeezed her hand and leaned in to kiss her forehead. "No, you didn't do anything wrong."

Y/N felt a lump form in her throat. "I feel like I failed you, Kiyoomi. I couldn't give you the family you wanted."

Sakusa's grip on her hand tightened. "Y/N, you didn't fail me."

Y/N clung to him, her body shaking with sobs. "I'm sorry," she said between sobs. "I'm so sorry."

Sakusa rubs her back soothingly. "I want a family with you, Y/N, but we can always try again."

The sound of the rain is the only thing that breaks the silence in the hospital room. The sky is overcast with heavy, gray clouds. The smell of the rain permeates the air, refreshing and cleansing. The drops hit the windowpane, creating a soothing rhythm.

Sakusa rubs Y/N's back soothingly as she sobs softly. He feels a pang of sadness and guilt in his chest. He looks outside, lost in thought, as the rain intensifies. The water droplets cascade down the window, distorting the view outside.

They stay there for a while, holding each other, trying to process their grief. It's a difficult moment for them, but they know they have each other's support to get through it. The doctor gives Y/N some pain killers and sleeping pills. So, she's soon asleep.

Sakusa has always been a private person, never opening up much to anyone, not even to Y/N. He knows that it's something that he needs to work on, but it's hard to let his guard down, especially in moments of vulnerability.

As he sits by Y/N's side, he can't help but feel a sense of guilt. He has always wanted to be a father, to have a family of his own, but he knows that his work has taken up most of his time and energy. He wonders if he has been too focused on his career, too selfish to realize what is truly important.

As he looks at Y/N, he can't help but feel grateful to have her by his side. He knows that they can always try again for a family, but he can't shake off the feeling of doubt and uncertainty. He wonders if they're ready for another heartbreak.

He looks back outside, and the rain has reduced to a drizzle now. The clouds still cover the sky, but he knows that the storm will pass, just like how their grief will eventually fade away.

He leans back in his chair, closing his eyes, and taking a deep breath. He feels the weight of the world on his shoulders, but he knows that he can't let it consume him. He has to be strong for Y/N, to be her support and her comfort. He knows that it won't be easy, but he's willing to try.

Fluffly Poly Oikawa and Iwazumi Headcanons

Tōru Oikawa x male reader x Hajime Iwazumi

headcanons separated into 3 different parts (Movie Nights, Sleepovers, and Selfcare Nights), established relationship

Movie nights

Movie nights would be one of the most common dates between the three of you, the two of them are the type to enjoy privacy when trying to spend time with their significant others, and they’ll both take any excuse to cuddle you and each other.

On movie nights, prepare to have to settle arguments between the two of them. They’re not serious arguments, but they can never agree on silly things, like what movies to watch, which type of popcorn to buy, what kind of snacks to get, even what blanket to grab, Iwazumi likes heavy blankets, Oikawa, on the other hand, likes fluffy soft blankets, and they always argue about which to use.

Typically they’ll have you sit between them, Oikawa likes to cling onto you, and Iwazumi prefers to keep an arm around your shoulder (usually, his hand ends up in Oikawa's hair). Oikawa tends to cling tighter when watching scary movies or during moments of suspense, and Iwazumi gets just a bit more affectionate during romance movies, really any romantic/cute moments get him.

Sometimes Iwazumi falls asleep during movie nights, he’s just so comfortable, he feels so safe with the two of you. Oikawa will stay up for as long as you want, so long as you don’t mind a half-awake clingy boy snuggling up to you, or an over-excited boy whisper-shouting about how totally messed up the plot twist in the movie is.

I would recommend staying away from sad movies, Oikawa isn’t embarrassed, he won’t hold back any tears, and poor Iwa will start fretting over the two of you and your emotional states. You could be completely unbothered by the movie, and he’s still going to kiss your cheek and cuddle closer to the two of you just to make sure you two know he’s there.

Sleepovers

Typically the boys like having sleepovers at Iwazumi, not for any real reason, well that’s not true, Iwazumi likes seeing you in his clothes, and Oikawa likes the way cuddling with you feels on Iwazumi’s bed (Oikawa swears Iwa’s bed is more comfortable than his own).

Both of them don’t care if there’s noise while they’re going to bed, so they leave it up to you. Oikawa likes to listen to music while he sleeps, but Iwazumi prefers nothing to be on except his fan.

Iwazumi likes to sleep with only a sheet in the warmer months and with a weighted blanket in the colder months. Oikawa, on the other hand, likes a fluffy comforter in the warmer months, and when it's colder he adds a fluffy blanket on top of his comforter. When you sleep together though, they tend to agree on sharing a comforter, and Oikawa likes to use that he’s cold as an excuse to cuddle closer to whoever is nearer.

Waking up is a bit of a mess when you have somewhere to be. Iwazumi is the first to wake up, he probably fixes up something for breakfast, like some toast, he’d probably also cut up some simple fruit, and he definitely makes himself a protein shake or a breakfast smoothie of sorts. He’ll start waking Oikawa up first, but only because he whines and goes back to sleep immediately, then he tries to wake you up. He’s a lot softer with you since he’s most likely known Oikawa a lot longer, but once you’re all up and running. There’s definitely a struggle for the bathroom, but after Iwazumi invested in a mirror for his bedroom, things started running more smoothly.

On days when the three of you can stay in bed all morning, Oikawa is the most likely to leave the bed first. Iwazumi is still the first to wake, but typically after using the bathroom and getting some water, he returns to read in bed until you and Oikawa wake up. Typically on these easy-going mornings, you and Iwazumi have to bribe Oikawa to stay in bed with cuddles and kisses, he pretends to be offended by the bribery, but he thinks it a more than fair trade.

Selfcare Nights

Selfcare nights are typically prompted by Oikawa (and possibly you). Just a night for some face masks, calm music, a lighthearted show playing softly in the background, and some good snacks.

Selfcare nights are usually combined with sleepovers, but not always, and on occasion, the lighthearted show is replaced with some romantic comedy Oikawa swore the three of you had to watch.

Oikawa has a collection of facial creams and masks, he’d happily supply the cosmetics, and if you and Iwazumi show a preference and liking for any specific product, he’d make sure to keep some extra on hand.

Oikawa will use just about any face mask, so long as it's safe and smells nice, but he tends to lean towards face masks that aim to hydrate his skin. Iwazumi probably feels uncomfortable wearing any face mask that isn’t a sheet mask or a light cream mask, it’s very foreign to him, but he’s trying his best to learn what helps with his skincare.

Iwazumi refuses to put the mask on himself (he feels weird putting it on really) he’ll patiently wait and sit until either you or Oikawa comes and puts it on him. He likes the way Oikawa smooths the mask onto his face when he puts it on, and he enjoys the little kiss you give him as a reward for sitting still when you put it on him.

bokuto has a perpetual bump from throwing his head back when he laughs and accidentally hitting it on whatever’s behind him. akaashi used to always chastise him for it—remind him to be more careful, that no joke is worth an injury.

but as they got older, he found himself growing fond of it, even searching for the little bump when he runs his hands through bokuto’s hair. this testament to bokuto’s laughter. a memento of his joy. which bokuto freely feels. always. even if it hurts. since bokuto knows, in his own way, that happiness isn’t the absence of pain. they coexist! together! to try to feel one without the other is to lose both.
