Recipe: Mini Bagel Breadling

Servings: 2 per serving: 53 cal / 0.2g fat / 10.4g carbs / 2g protein

Ingredients:

30g spelled flour

40g low fat curt/quark

1/4 tsp baking powder

pinch of salt

additional: bagel seasoning / sesame seeds

Instructions:

put all ingredients (except bagel seasoning) in a little bowl and tickle it until you get a smooth little dough ball.

2. divide into 2 even balls and roll it out into a worm. Connect both ends of each worm to worm a ring.

3. accidentally drop the ring into the bagel seasoning and put them onto a baking sheet.

4. put the baking sheet into a cute mini oven on 180°C / 356°F for 15 min until golden

5. take them out and let them cool down. Enjoy! :)

In the near future i wanna experiment swapping out some of the flour with neutral protein powder. I will let you know how it went and post a new recipe if it was a success :)

Hi everyone!

I'm Hailey, and I had VSG surgery on December 13, 2022. When starting my weight loss Journey in September of 2022 I was 250 pounds exactly. On the day of surgery I was down to 217, and today I am down to 176. Are there any other sleevers on here? I would love to make some friends!

I am also 25, I have 2 kiddos, a husband, and a German Shepherd puppy.

I’ve never done this, and I feel very shy about it- if I’m honest.

This past year has been eventful for me, to say the least. I’m at the end of my weight loss journey now that I’m pretty much at target weight and I’m left with all the loose skin from years of being morbidly obese and abusing my body. My confidence and body dysmorphia because of this really affects me, both mentally and physically.

After taking my life back and working so hard to get to where I am now, I’m still left a slave to my body once again and am ashamed and embarrassed of my loose skin. The loose skin causes health issues like rashes and infections as well as ruining my confidence.

Some people suggested making a gofundme, as paying €8k for this surgery isn’t possible for me right now. I decided, what’s the harm? And made it. I’m not expecting anything, but if you could even just share this that would be amazing.

Thank you all for being on this weight loss journey with me and being so so supportive.

So it's been almost 3 months since I updated you guys. I've been studying for my SATs, it's on December 3rd, I'm dying of anxiety at this point.

Overall life is good, my mom's getting married, I broke up with my ex and now I've been dating a new guy for the past month, he's so different from me but very kind and even more so hot! But he got me into cigarettes and alcohol again, that's alright tho I've been sober for so long bc of the vsg that I forgot how real people party!

That's it for the life update, let's talk weight loss, I've lost 4 kgs since my last update, I am surprisingly pleased, I was stuck at 74 for a while. For now I weigh 72 kgs. My clothes are fitting soooooooo much better. I can finally shop at straight size clothing stores. And you know what else is crazy, my bf can lift me off the ground!!! He's not even that strong, I haven't been lifted off the ground since I was 6! I've never been happier for such silly reasons. I'm gonna reach a healthy weight range before the end of the year! Suck it doctor!

31 kgs of weight loss and more along the way!
