fellow time traveler!reader & karl who go back to the past at the beginning of the l’manberg era because you had left a book behind the last time you two visited. during that time, karl playfully told sapnap that you were crushing on dream, causing tommy to steer clear of you making you wonder what you did only to find out the truth and this is how it went:

“Y/N, IM SORRY-” karl yelled as he ran past the shops in l’manberg, making the residents stare

“YOU’RE NOT! OF ALL PEOPLE?! YOU COULDNT HAVE EVEN SAID WILBUR, HE WOULDVE BEEN BETTER!” you yelled as you chased after him

you ran past a startled fundy who turned and watched you as you smiled and gave him a small wave which he returned before walking away

“THIS IS POINTLESS!” karl started again, falling as he bumped right into nikki who worriedly helped him up

“we have to get going soon and you still haven’t found that book!” he hid behind nikki making her confusingly turn to look at you, wondering who exactly you were while wondering why some random person was hiding behind her

(small fun fact: when time traveling together, karl & y/n try their best to make sure they’re unrecognizable)

“THIS IS LITERALLY YOU’RE FAULT!” you quickly grabbed your book of spells, quickly flipping through the pages before karl widened his eyes

“y/n!! we’re running out of time, there’s people near us who don’t even know about your book or you, YOU’RE BEING IRRATIONAL AND COUNTERPRODUCTIVE!”

“BIG WORDS ANGER ME!” finally finding the page, you lifted your hand and gave a small hand wave which cause karl to lift into the air and be brought towards you, nikki stared with wide eyes before running off

Dream 💚(bartender)

I see him as a bartender type of person. It just fits and he can probably do those cool tricks when mixing drinks. Probably also gambles with ppl as they drink just to put some fun in his job. A big show off in general

George 🦋(cleaner)

I see him as that worker that got the job because of someone else, in that case it’s dream. He just walks around really until things close. So he can at least get paid he cleans after hours or during when ppl get to sick from drinking. Hates it but it’s pretty alright. Not the gambling type but will do a slot machine for fun once in a while

Sapnap 🐼(bodyguard)

I see him as Like the “bodyguard” of the place like an extra set of protection on the inside of the place. Likes to see fights and takes videos before breaking them up. His job makes him feel strong. Him and dream play cards after hours for fun.

Karl 🌀(waiter)

One of the waiters of the place. I can see him as a server. He really likes his job because he can slack off here and there then just say it’s because the food was taking to long. Not the gambling type either but him and sapnap play simple card games together on break. (Sometimes since karl isnt the gambling type sapnap Carries a pack of uno around)

Quackity 🐤(manager)

The manager of the place. He’s like the side boss of it all. Always gambling and watching over the place. Last to leave work to make sure of everything. (Charlie stays with him sometimes so he doesn’t have to be alone). Prevents things from happening between workers (mainly tommy and dream and you’ll see why)

Ranboo 👑(waiter)

I see him as another waiter. He just doesn’t give me the gambling vibe. Tommy dragged him to work there so he wouldn’t get bored. He knows how to gamble he just doesn’t want to. Everyone that goes there sees him as a simple nerdy waiter.

Tubbo 🐝(cleaner)

I see him as a cleaner too. Nothing special it just gives him an excuse to get things done on his computer and then clean. Him and George actually make good small talk because of that. They have the most tea on the guest and share it around.

Tommy ♥️(bartender)

I see him as Like a noobie bartender. Dream definitely makes fun of him and always teases him for no reason. Tommy is not bad at Making drinks it’s more of the tricks. Wilbur actually got him to work there with him. Tommy is sorta the gambling type as long as his brother is with him if anything(aka Wilbur helps him cheat)

Wilbur ☕️(card dealer)

One of the biggest cheaters. He host all the card games. If people challenge him he cheats for sure to make them regret it and always have some crazy bet attached. He stays after since I feel like tommy stays after too bc of tubbo to talk and he knows tommy will need a ride home.

Niki 🌸(Slot watcher)

I feel like she watches over the slot machines. She really enjoys her job and finds it really fun. She finds it funny when people loose hundreds on a simple machine. Always motivating people. Jack is like her protector.

Jack 🔴🔵(slot watcher)

Nikis protector basically. Seen more around the bar talking to Tommy(mainly talking shit lol) talks to everyone at least once through out the day. Him and Wilbur gamble in there free time always challenging each other. Brings food for niki and water for her. Basically his whole backpack if filled with essentials for everyone and they can just go to the back and grab anything.

Fundy 🦊 (cleaner)

You gotta admit this place has to be big so ofc we have another cleaner. I see him as a pretty fast cleaner finishing before anyone else. To make it easier for him and everyone I see him making List of what each person should do so they don’t repeat it. Mainly listening to music or just enjoying the background noise of gnf and tubbo gossiping.

Purple 💜 (pool worker)

I see him working for the pool tables. Probably challenging solo players all the time and makes it obvious he’s talking shit and making fun. Enjoys seeing the drunks loose it amuses him a bunch seeing people angry but drunk make it better. Finds his job boring overall and is kinda jealous of quackity. Plays pool after hours alone.

Punz 🤍(bodyguard)

I can see him and sapnap teaming up to be the inside bodyguards. More like an aggressive bodyguard. He’s mainly around dream who makes him little shots so he doesn’t get to wasted during the job but enough to just give him a boost.

Techno 🐷 (Card dealer)

With Wilbur, there both card dealers. Techno scams people of there money as Wilbur cheats. Techno is Seen around the card area or talking to Tommy. Tommy makes him drinks here and there. Always talking shit to people when they loose. Very quiet just enjoying his job but he doesn’t admit that. Ever.

Foolish 🦈 (back up)

I See foolish to be used for more like events or like parties. He mainly makes sure every item is in tack and counts the money and stuff. His job is pretty easy and has his own office where he can work and do papers. Very chill job for a very chill guy.

Charlie/Slime 🟢(assistant)

I see him as Like the boss and the managers assistant. He’s pretty clueless so that’s the best job for him. Quackity just walks around and talks to him as Charlie takes down notes when he never needs to. Always asking questions like he’s new no matter how long he’s been working there. Quackity enjoys his company and help, it helps him relax after a long day just talking to someone so innocent and sweet after dealing with assholes.

Phil/mumza 💚💜

The owners. You can’t change my mind on this and there sons are like their watcher reposting back to them after a long day. That’s why each work at least in almost every section. Mumza is Seen around when Phil is in the office. Mumza is More used to welcome people and give people there money after winning. Always so happy doing her job. Phil is her protector Making sure no one takes advantage of that. The parents of the casino

By my personal assessment and lived experience, there’s a 99.99% chance that a trans woman is gonna say shit I can learn from and appreciate about gender and will probably make me even happier to share womanhood with her. My dream scenario for the Ratgrinders is that they end up talking through their differences and teaming up with the Bad Kids. The Bad Kids have broad practical experience, but the tradeoff is that fighting high level enemies all the time is exhausting. The Ratgrinders have deficits in their practical experience, but they’ve got energy and overpowered abilities available to help if the Bad Kids hit the end of their rope.

The real villain here is the zero-sum competitiveness baked into the school system. It shouldn’t even be about “fairness”, because we shouldn’t be making kids compete with each other to get into college! That’s 100% on the adults maintaining the system, not on the teens trying to survive within it. Even the business world is more open to win-win scenarios than schools are, it’s so miserable and unnecessary that kids are pitted against each other so early.

Genuinely, if anyone younger is reading this, so many things are just Better after school. And I liked school. It does teach a lot of important stuff, but I really do wish it wasn’t so one-size-fits-all.*

*note: this does NOT mean I’m in favor of private schools or vouchers. I went to a religious school for part of my education, and it was significantly worse than public (+ obviously even more enforcing of conformity). I think public education as a whole is really important, because otherwise parents can radically isolate their kids, or stick them in wildly unregulated, profit-driven sham schools. Some private and homeschools can do great work, but so many of the materials aimed at private/homeschooling are very VERY hardcore fundie shit. We’re talking textbooks that not only deny evolution and climate change, but are also virulently racist and extremely pro-war… like genuine apocalypse cult stuff. For me, the first priority is protecting public schools, but I’d love to see more variety flourish within that system.

am i the only one who has a boiling hatred for fanon ghostbur?

Like--- I'm neutral about canon ghostbur.

But i really really hate how so many people went as far as saying that Ghostbur was all the good parts of Wilbur.

That is just so wrong---- ghostbur has the good memories, but not all the good parts. it just drives me nuts.

ghostbur wasn't good for c!tommy or anyone coping with wilbur's death

it wasn't his fault, but people need to stop depicting him as they do

ohohoho i specifically waited to get to this until i had my laptop because i love me some character analysis! so. lets talk ghostbur!

disclaimer: these are opinions, i didnt write the character, this is just how id analyze ghostbur and audience portrayal of him

so something i think people dont note about ghostbur a lot is the fact that he is not wilbur in a much more real sense than people realize. something that revivebur kind of touches on but people dont really note (in my opinion) is the way the memories and your actions during memories actually shape you as a person. ghostbur could never be all the good parts of wilbur because without the negative memories, he could never have knowledge of how he can be good in negative scenarios, like being good towards tommy in darker times. this is one of the biggest things that makes ghostbur not healthy for the characters around him, and why wilbur being revived is so important to wilbur's overall character arc

ghostbur is the image of wilbur if he never dealt with significant problems, never caused problems or engaged in them, because he only has good memories, he's never seen himself in a negative situation (think to how ghostbur reacts to philza telling him fundy wants to be "adopted" by someone else (i cant remember who at the moment))

when people tell him of his own negative consequences, he literally cannot react in a way of genuine remorse. he feels guilt because he learns that the living version of himself did those things, but he cant actually give any apology that would be beneficial to anyone involved. ghostbur cant apologize for something he cant remember doing because he doesn't know why he acted in those ways.

we can contrast this with when revivebur tries to later apologize (im thinking particularly to fundy) and how when fundy asks why he did those things, he tells him about how he wasn't well mentally. even though fundy doesn't accept the apology (in a very. drastic way), revivebur can actually acknowledge his own motivations, which allows him to actually have a chance as being forgiven.

ghostbur doesnt know any of those motivations, which is why his character is unhealthy. he is literally a ghost of the man he once was, so even though people want genuine answers, before knowing he was going to be revived, they had to realize that ghostbur is basically a punching bag for them to push their issues with c!wilbur onto because ghostbur cant actually respond in any meaningful way in terms of remorse and forgiveness.

also, as for the audience portrayal, i think people got very caught up on the "sweet ghost boy" image rather than what he actually is and how he actually affects the characters. he literally haunts them and reminds them of all the trauma c!wilbur gave them, while knowing that he can't actually answer for any of it because he doesn't remember hurting them

its a very famous philosophical argument (i believe by kant) about the concept of "if someone has no memory of committing a crime, can they actually serve time for it?" because if you have no memory of doing something, can you actually learn from and grow from your experiences?

because ghostbur cant. and thats what hurts the people around him so much. people like c!tommy and c!philza who geniunely care about c!wilbur and want him to be okay know that ghostbur is not that answer because he can't grow from memories he doesnt remember playing a part in, so it hurts to see someone you love be constantly stuck in place of never being able to grow and never being able to answer for all the things you want to ask.

ghostbur is so important to c!wilburs arc because he reminds people not to seek justice on those who can't answer for it. some people actually recognize this, some don't, and some just avoid him like a plague because it hurts.

A cacophony of voices could be heard outside the walls of the casino, as a new day has begun or well, it would be more accurate to say that the day in the casino never ends. In the city where the majority of humanities vices are legal, the casino is open 23 hours a day, the hour in which a massive break takes place is the time where the business restokes the storage of beverages and food, emptying the machines of the money that people mindlessly lose with the hopes of luck being on their side. Some processes can be seen as automated as the machines and cash register seem to open on their own without a key needed. Though its not the advanced technology that makes it possible but rather a spiritual power.

Glatt was sitting on the bar stool next to one of the most profitable parts of the establishment, some may argue that the only money spend on the drinks is coming from the ghost himself, but he brushes those jokes aside, as they are way too obvious in his opinion. The ghost was leaning back, sipping on the burning booze that was filling up his glass but had no effect on him, using the free hand to wave around with fingers, manipulating the machines to open and empty themselves out. The days were passing in a routineus manner, not that he could complain, after losing the bet, he was in a rather “Win-win” scenario. He can stay and be his own person, instead of being in the need of bringing his alive version back, he had a place to stay, he had a clear purpose, and he was partially in control of things. It did remind him of Manbergs better days with one, noticeably clear difference. Quackity. The duck hybrid clearly changed. Besides of the obvious scar and a different outfit, he seemed more confident, not as naïve, and gullible, he may still not be the tallest person in a room, but he had the voice of a man, who knows what he wants. It wasn’t aligning with Glatts memories of him but sometimes, he could still see the man that he once married. The short-lived stutter in his voice when the ghost calls him an older pet name, the genuine smile that reaches the ducks eyes when he interacts with the younger members of Las Nevadas, the willingness to accept piles of works. The last part caused the ghost to furrow his eyebrows. He couldn’t remember why there were so many piles and why he simply left them on his VPs desk. It didn’t matter now but the holes in his memories were wearing a rather frustrating character. The man shook his head before his dead, amber eyes caught the glimpse of yellow feathers, when the owner of Las Nevadas let himself fall on the stool next to him.

Glatt let out a low chuckle before causing a bottle of strong beverage to float and pour its own content in another glass, pushing it towards the duck hybrid. Quackity looked at the ghost with his one seeing eye before stretching, putting one of his arms on his elbow, letting out a groan, stretching till there was an audible pop in his spine, causing his feathers to ruffle, puffing out before he relaxed his whole body, slamming his arms on the table and allowing his wings to fold tranquilly on his back., wrapping his fingers around the glass with the amber liquid in it, splashing against the transparent walls. -Rough hour boss?- there was a smirk on Glatts face, emitting a slight mockery as…yes in terms of their deal, Quackity would be his boss but none of them really used that term. The duck hybrid only rolled his one good eye, as the other kept unmoving. -As you can tell. We couldn’t get any lobster, so now three of the main dishes on the menu have to be scratched from it, till we get a delivery, two of the staff called in sick and I had to make a few phone calls to get a replacement, Fundy is complaining about needing a parental leave….he knows that we don’t have that here, right? Nowhere in the contract it says that this would be provided. So…I said that he can bring the kid if he has no nanny on this server.- the owner of the casino took a bigger sip from his drink, letting out a hot sigh and slamming the glass on the table, grimacing from the burning sensation in his mouth and throat, causing the ghost to burst into a laughter, which caused the colourful lights of the various machines to flicker. -Ya know, when I asked, I didn’t really think ya would dump this shit all over me but eh…ya know, my advice would be, buy frozen shit, cheaper and gets less worry….and look, I am no fucking babysitter, the kid is gonna get turned into some coat by the first convict. And speaking about kids. Tell the definitely human one to stop putting his damn goop inside the machines. Do I look like a mechanic or maid to ya? I agreed to run this hole, not clean it- Quackity only shook his head. -I will remind him. And…I don’t remember asking for your advice. Besides, you really think people wont notice me cheaping out?- the ghost only shrugged. -They will be too drunk and greedy to notice anything, pumpkin.- the ram hybrids ear twitched at the raising sound of voices talking behind the door, causing him to smirk. -Yar loyal fans are waiting for ya. Wanna get a good luck kiss, eh?- The ghost rested his head on the open palm of his arm, leaning on the bar counter, having a wide grin on his face. Quackity emptied his own glass, jumping off the stool, causing the heels of his shoes to clack against the floor, straightening his dress-shirt before looking at the ghost in a torn suit, under which was a blue sweater that stayed on him despite them being in a literal desert. He narrowed his eyes before scrunching up his nose and huffing. -I don’t need any luck, Glatt.- turning away and looking around before looking down at the ground, feeling the rows of yellow feather on his neck rise and fluff up, smirking before making an 180 turn on his heels, stepping over to the ghost. -But you definitely need some. After all, I expect great profit from your cooperation.- was uttered before the duck hybrid grabbed the man by one of the horns, pulling him down and uniting their lips in a rather passionate kiss. All light in the casino turned on, seeming like they are about to burn on the light bulbs, the establishment filled up with the noise of machines rapidly playing, slot machines were rapidly changing the pictures, the sound of coins shooting out of the winning sections and the repeated, robotic voice shouting “jackpot” was echoing.

Quackity took a step back, using the back of his palm to clean off his lips before walking off, leaving the ghost at the bar, and throwing one last sentence at him. -Seems like you have won something.-

Here's my primary headcanon on how singleplayer worlds work in MC/MCYT fics (that don't specifically refute it) that make use of the "minecraft multiverse" idea.

First and foremost: a singleplayer world is singleplayer. They are not capable of supporting multiple people for any length of time. In very rare circumstances someone may be able to enter, but they are often restricted to a small area, and the longer they stay, the more strain their presence puts on the world before it forcibly ejects them, or worst case scenario, crumbles completely.

Singleplayer worlds can function similarly to how "The Hub" does in many fics, but on a much smaller scale; From their singleplayer world, an individual can access any other world they are whitelisted on, invited to, or any public servers they've previously visited.

All worlds move in their relative position to other worlds, age and number of players affect how much they drift. Typically singleplayer worlds follow their player, growing closer to, or becoming a "pocket dimension" for, the multiplayer world that their player spends the most time on. The older the world is, the less it drifts or needs to drift to remain connected to its player. As worlds get older they tend to drift less, anchoring and being anchored by other worlds. Worlds also drift less the longer they are in one spot. Singleplayer worlds don't move while inhabited by their player, meaning that the more time spent in a singleplayer world the more "fixed" it's position becomes.

Your singleplayer world is connected to your soul, tenuously at first but more strongly the longer you spend in it and the more you build it up. Hardcore builds the connection quickest, and creative mode the slowest. Using this connection, it can be accessed from anywhere, and without a portal.

While someone, if trapped in another server, can be prevented from accessing their singleplayer world, the older, more built, the world (the stronger the player's connection to it, and the more fixed it's position) the less effective that will be. For example, in many fics the DSMP is a "locked world" that prevents anyone who enters from leaving.

Someone like Tommy, who has no singleplayer world, or Fundy, who is constantly creating new ones for testing, would be completely trapped; Unable to access any singleplayer world they have or to make any new ones.

Philza, who spends years in the same hardcore world, building in it, can access his singleplayer world but it is cut off within DSMP with him; he can't access other worlds from it while trapped there.

If someone like Etho, who has had the same world basically since minecraft started, were to end up on a "locked world" he would be more or less unaffected. Although unable to access the "main hub" that connects all players and worlds, he can still use his singleplayer as a backdoor, private, hub. His connection to it is too strong to be severed, and his world is too old to be moved.

I don’t think that this is over yet. The discs are only surface level on the Dream vs. Tommy scenario, however it is a good step. It may not do much in way of Dream and what power he actually holds over Tommy, but for Tommy it IS one less thing  that he has to worry about. 

For Tommy, to him, it means Dream doesn’t have power over him in that aspect of his life, or at least not as much, which ultimately gives him more freedom and confidence. 

Not to mention, he finally got to vent about exile, which in his own words he said it felt nice to speak about what had happened. This is the start of him slowly accepting things and being able to move on. 

This isn’t the end, but rather the beginning of the end. 

Wilbur was wrong about some things, about Dream losing all power over Tommy because of the discs, but he was right about others. Dream was watching Tommy the whole time, to him that disc thing was real, which also means to him he wasn’t bluffing about the threats on his own life. 

Wilbur is just as important to Dream in this stage, because Wilbur is something Dream can hold over Tommy, but that’s not something he can easily do. Dream also is losing things he can hold over Tommy. 

All he has left are people, which isn’t something he can easily do, especially when he’s so heavily watched and hunted. 

But Wilbur was also right about things, about Tommy and healthily coping, about trying to turn the tables. 

He is mad, and I don’t think he’s done with Dream either. If his brief daydream about killing him over and over again, I very much doubt that this will satisfy that, but... it looks like he at least has a new goal. 

Previously, it was to take himself out of the picture to make people’s lives better... but now it seems like it will be to take Dream out of the picture, or do his damnest to do so. 

His plans aren’t perfect, they never have been, but it’s more than what some are willing to do. 

There’s still plenty of things for c!Wilbur to do, whether he’s now scrapped all previous plans, or altered them. There’s also still way more for c!Tommy to do. 

This isn’t the end of Dream or the end of the Dream and Tommy conflict, but it’s the start of it. 

On a meta note, this stream wasn’t perfect, but it was never going to be. Us as a fandom has had such high expectations on what the perfect scenario would be, but it will and has never been the perfect scenario, and that is what makes it complicated and interesting. None of the characters are strictly good or bad, they make terrible decisions for the right reasons, they make good decisions for the wrong ones. 

c!Wilbur could’ve done a million and one things in that situation, but he made his decision for a reason, and it will lead to what happens next. Just like how c!Fundy could’ve just walked away, the stream could’ve ended, he could’ve ender pearled stasised away, but he did what he did so the story would go how it needed to next. 

You can argue semantics on what could cause trama or what impacted who, but clearly cc!Tommy and cc!Wilbur have plans and they’re both working on what they want to do and what they want to happen. How deep this affects c!Tommy is up to them and them alone, whether he forgives Wilbur or not is up to him. 

But this was literally done for a reason and it’s so they can move onto the next phases of the plan so they can wrap up their characters in a meaningful way, in the larger ways that matter. Sometimes, as nice as the finer details are, it is unrealistic to be able to have everything end perfectly and in place. 

This was a subjectively good stream, and good for their characters, and good for the plot, and is going to lead to some very, very interesting things. I for one, am excited.

Morning

"good morining" kristen and Phil can be heard saying to the little workers so far in the casino. everyone exchanges there hellos and small talk before the two hotshots walk up to start there own day. "Tommy!" wilbur can be heard screaming from the card station. Tommy's is near the bar table laying his head slowly falling asleep. Tommy groans before lifitng his head back up and starts to fix his tie. Tommy always complains his tie is choking him. "here" tommy jumped at the sight of techno standing there hadning him a water bottle, "since you can have any of these drinks you know" tommy grabbed to drink and took a sip, "thanks-". "Quackity!" willbur said as he ran over to quackity who walked into the buillding with charlie. Will pulled big Q into a big hug only making quckity push him away. "you smell like cigars-" will just laughs and takes quackitys beanie, runing away making big Q yell at him and chase him. Charlie just stood there and exchanged a wave to tommy with a big smile.

afternoon

"look who finally arrived" Dream laughed as he shook the mixer in his hand beforing pouring it into a glass. George just looked at Dream befor flipping him off and starting his shift. "Im telling you tubbo he hates me" tommy ranted in the break room to tubbo about how dream hates him. Tubbo sat there listening as he did his work on his computer. Ranboo smiled and walked into the break room waving. "RANBOO" tommy yelled as ranboo laughed and sat next to tommy. thats when tommy started to rant about dream to ranboo as ranboo actually gave some pretty good advice. A bit later Karl walked in for search of someone, "ranboo we need you, rush hour" ranboo got up and said his goodbyes before leaving with karl. Tommy left soon after to work as well leaving tubbo in his peaceful mind space.

Purpled laughed at to sore loser walking away from the pool table throwing the stick thankfully purple moved out the way. "your so stupid mate" purple heard as Jack walked up to him and ruffled his hair making purple squirm. "fuck off british" Jack just laughed and started to put the pool balls in the triangle, "one round?" purple nodded as he handed jack a stick and soon they began to play.

Purpled scoffed as he lost and just laughed, "whos the sore loser now" purple rolled his eyes as jack turend his head seeing niki from afar. "HEY LEAVE HER ALONE" jack said running over with the pool stick ready to kick some guys ass for messing with niki. Niki laughed softly as Jack got the guy away and hugged niki, "you ok?" she nodded gently as Jack stood next to her making smile talk making sure not to leave her side.

Closing time

"everyone out" sapnap said as he pushed the decent drunk people out. Punz on the other hand was arguing with a guest, "GET THE FUCK OUT" punz screamed getting all close onto the person with obvious anger. Before punz exploded sapnap quickly handled it. Fundy sighed in an amused manner hearing another fight break out between punz and a guest. "alright everyone im leaving!" Wilbur said as Tom put his jacket on after giving tubbo a hug. "bye shortie" dream teased to tom who just flipped him off as both the brothers walked out the building. One by one everyone left the building saying there goodbyes or getting a ride from others.

Dumbass but hilarious to consider scenario.

Dream SMP however it's the Twisted Boys doing the roleplay.

They were recording it because why not and did not expect the popularity it would get.

Yuu is Wilbur. Especially with the cursed lore. There have been many attempts to get them to stop. They all failed.

Riddle basically has Bad's roleplay role and is quite proud of The Egg Arc.

Ace is Tommy and Epel is Dream. Deuce is Tubbo. Sebeck is Sapnap. And Jack is George because he's not that into the heavy stuff.

You chose who everyone else is essentially playing as. Just wanted to share this.

I actually have like a few pages in a notebook about this. The cast list goes as follows:

Dream: Lilia (Mainly because Diasomnia is a strong af group and they do fit the “intimidating enemies” vibe.)

George: Malleus (Mainly because of King George in that one arc, plus with the lore of Dream and George being very close during that time. Though Jade takes George’s role during the Manberg/Pogtopia arc)

Sapnap: Silver (I find it funny that Silver, who is calm and also really low energy, is Sapnap, who has very high energy.)

Tommy: Ace (Come on, it’s obvious. Those two would be friends if Tommy traveled to Twisted Wonderland)

Tubbo: Deuce (Also very obvious. Tommy and Tubbo are a duo as much as Ace and Deuce.)

Wilbur: Epel (MMMMMM, Epel going batshit insane is a)

Fundy: Jack (...furry-) (No actually I think it’d be really cool for Jack, who has a strong moral compass betray his own morals just to keep up a spy act.)

Eret: Sebek (HAHAHHAHAHAHA, IT FITS BECAUSE SEBEK WOULD TOTALLY BETRAY THEM FOR LILIA AND MALLEUS)

Niki: Trey (Baker :) Also it’s fitting that Trey would be the one to kill Ace)

Techno: Leona (C’mon, his attitude matches DSMP! Techno, and he totally would be an anarchist.)

Skeppy: Jamil (Egg Arc :) Also best friends with Kalim obvs)

Sam: Vil  (I...have no exact reason for this. I just think it fits for some reason. Maybe because Warden Vil sounds really cool???)

Antfrost: Rook  (Cats have night vision, Rook canonically has good vision. Also, that one bit where Tommy, Techno, and Tubbo made Ant into an S-L-A-V-E? Hilarious if the cast did that)

Schlatt: Azul (Slimy business man? He would totally kick out Epel and Ace lmao)

Quackity: Floyd (I MADE THIS BEFORE QUACKITY’S PRISON STREAMS AND OOOHHH MY GOOOODD, I’M SHAKING FLOYD WOULD DO THAT IF HE WASN’T RESTRAINED)

Punz: Ruggie (Both do stuff for a price, literally makes the most sense)

Jack Manifold: Riddle (Riddleland :0 and also he totally would help Deuce make nukes with his big brain and use them to attempt to murder Ace with them)

Foolish: Idia (Idia is from the dorm based on a Greek God. Foolish is a God. Enough said. Also getting sacrificed for an Egg cult is tragic and hilarious)

Anyways, even if this is my general idea, your idea sounds amazing! I’ve written a lot of other DreamSMP inspired ideas on my blog, involving Yuu, Rook, and Jamil being Tubbo, Techno, and Eret on their way to beat up Crowley (Sam) for taking Grim (Micheal). There was also another time where I wrote Tubbo’s Checkmate scene with our classic quartet.

I like your castings, though! I totally agree that Yuu would be the one to make up cursed lore (”I gave birth to Grim, he’s my son, and his other parent is a tree!”) I also like Riddle being BBH, which means Trey would probably be Skeppy, and WHOOO BOY THE ANGST. Thinking about Sebek as Sapnap does make sense, and I could totally see him and Ace fighting early in the SMP. Though, idk about Jack being Gogy, since George basically sleeps a lot, which I don’t see Jack doing at all.

Anyways, that’s just my cup of tea. I really like this idea tho! :0
