Publishing Goal Updates and Content Submissions Reopening

If you're subscribed to our newsletter, you may have heard about our new publication plan for Issue 1 of Inclusive Future Magazine. In the June Newsletter, we announced that we're putting together a 32(ish)-page zine, which will be available in print and digitally. At this point, we're thinking we'll likely be ready to ship worldwide during the fist quarter of 2024.

Although this is a smaller publication than we initially envisioned, we're super stoked about it because:

We actually have the resources to pull it off, thanks in part to a couple of generous donations, and

We will get to hold it in our grubby little hands sooner rather than later!

Our next step is to finalize the contents of Issue 1. Pieces we've previously published on our website will be in the next print issue, as well as new, never-before-seen content! Which brings us to some more really exciting news... 🥁🥁🥁

CONTENT SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW OPEN UNTIL OCTOBER 6TH

Did the pieces already published online inspire you like they did us? Hopefully they got you thinking about what a future would look like in which all expressions of gender or lack thereof are fully included. Maybe you even got to imagining the movie poster for Unbreakable Butch, or thinking up the feature story behind the cover illustration by Liasis. Now's your chance to share those ideas with us!

Since Inclusive Future Magazine is an anthology of speculative epistolary fiction - that is, prose and art in the guise of a pop culture magazine that imagines a more inclusive future - we're asking you to imagine that it's the year 2068. In this future, we've achieved gender equality in the broadest sense. Not only are genders outside the binary widely acknowledged and accepted, but people of all genders are paid equally for equal work, have equal opportunity, are included in scientific studies, and are marketed to equally.

You are writing and making art from this future, roughly fifty years from now, and you are submitting a piece of work to an international culture magazine whose target audience includes English-speaking adults of all genders living anywhere in the world.

Specifically, we’d like to see pieces that fit in with and respond to the work we already have, like an article to go with Al Hess' amazing artwork (pictured here) or a feature article to accompany Liasis’ cover illustration (above). If you submitted a piece during our last call, we will automatically consider the piece again during this round. If you didn’t, or would like to submit again, then you can find instructions on how to submit on our website. We’re excited to see what you come up with!

Reblog the fundraisers you mfs!!!!! I don't know why you all skip those to reblog some pic of a banner saying "FREE PALESTINE" or of news from Columbia University! Literally these people from Gaza have made an account on Tumblr and is writing in english to communicate what they need and you all are coming onto my blog or on the tag and not reblogging their posts. We have people both Palestinian and non Palestinian vetting the fundraisers! I mean more the reblogs, more the chance of the fundraisers gaining momemtum, the more there would be a chance of a donation. Please donate if you can and reblog!!! and follow them if it is possible.

@/mohammedayesh has posted about getting leaflets, telling them to evacuate Rafah. They are very low on funds. Go follow them and reblog their posts and donate if possible.

We have @/haneenatya too whose mother is suffering from eye stroke and need to evacuate. Please I have been following them for some days and it doesn't seem their own posts are getting much attention.

Follow them! They are on tumblr. Reblog their posts and donate. The protests in universities are being done on account of them. They should be our focus.

(EDIT: on re-reading my post it seems as if I am dismissing all that the students of universities are doing. I am not. I just meant, since all of it is to help Palestinians, we must not ignore them when they ask for help).

sharing your saved copy of my fics with anyone else who might want them in the unlikely but never impossible case that my fics are no longer available on ao3

making a book of my fic(s) and running your fingers across the pages while lovingly whispering my precioussss

doing these things with anything I create for fandom, such as meta, headcanons, au nonsense like 'texts from the brodinsons,' etc

I am not fine with "the audience"

doing any of the above with the purpose/intent of plagiarizing my work or passing it off as their own in any capacity

feeding my work into ai for any reason whatsoever

there's more info about how the names were complied under the read more, but just to get an idea of how vile the blog is, i just want to quickly mention that the first prize offered in their pinned post, "eight hours of memi mamtera," is the song used in the viral israeli tiktok trend of kidnapping, humiliating, and torturing palestinians in the west bank.

and the "grand prize," which needs no explanation, is "all of palestine! for free!"

some quick info: all the names here have either approvingly replied to, reblogged from, or liked one or more of @/israel-palestine-bingo's posts. for likes, i've only gathered names that appear under their original posts; mostly ones that have not been reblogged, and some with 2-3 reblogs that have not left the immediate sphere of zionists. i've also made sure that these are blogs who have either liked more than one posts from them, or who frequently reblogs from other zionists.

you can also quickly look through the blog yourself (it doesn't have that many posts), or check out any of the names on the list with a quick 'israel' or 'palestine' in the search bar or their blogs.

sometimes I see people call Timothee Chalamet hot and it’s like. I mean sure he’s hot in an “I would make him the face cast for my favorite villainous white boy OC” sorta way but I don't find him hot in like a real world way. handsome yes beautiful yes but not hot. to me “hot” means I want to fuck him but I don't want to fuck him. he's attractive in a way where if it was 1892 I would bring him to my atelier and have him model semi-nude for my paintings that'll someday be on display in the louvre and the met. we would have an emotionally torrid but physically chaste affair and I would not leave my wife for him. eventually he would contract TB or cholera and die and I would have to pay for the funeral as he was without any family in the world and the final painting he modeled for would become my most famous one ever and would be the one that put my name in art history books. so yeah he's not hot to me he’s tragically beautiful. also I keep getting him mixed up with Tom Holland for some reason
