We're looking for a Social Media and Promotions Manager!

Despite its important role in connecting us with creators and readers, social media and promotions work for this project has fallen by the wayside due to our limited capacity as a very small team that volunteers our time and energies for this project. We’ve come to the realization that we need a Social Media and Promotions Manager to help us reach more people who will read the zine and financially support it, and we also want to reach writers, artists, and guest editors who will bring future issues into being.

Ultimately, it will be up to the SMPM, as the resident expert, to decide how best to do this work with the resources available to us, but this position might look like:

drafting and posting content,

engaging with followers and community,

assessing the effectiveness of campaigns and proposing/making adjustments as needed,

identifying new opportunities/platforms for promoting the zine,

developing relationships with potential collaborators.

Ideally, we'd love to have someone start working with us in April or early May 2024 to help us with promotions leading up to, and during, our June 2024 Kickstarter.
