Phillumeny (greek "phil"- loving and latin "lumen"-light) is the hobby of collecting match-related items: matchboxes, matchbox labels, matchbooks, matchcovers, matchsafes etc.

This is another 'phil' I discovered recently (there are plenty more of these types of 'loving' collectors) and it is super interesting to me! I wonder how many people are apart of this group, I definitely see Eddie from ST being one.

I also definitely would engage in this hobby if I could but I'm sadly not the type of person to invest in collections.

Also the overall aesthetic is extremely cool + I think it could be telling of a characteristic of that respective culture that it came from, like an important animal or person.
