Keaton, Kadan and Panne Hcs with a S/O who was a wolf Laguz (or whatever you deem fitting) that was recently rescued from bandits and is having a rough time trusting the humans who saved them.

Ah, I love my beastypeople~ I’ve never really written anything where the s/o /reader isn’t just aplain old human, so yeah this is pretty new for me, but I hope you enjoy it!Also, sorry for the wait—it’s been a hectic few weeks.

Kaden

· Kaden knows that you’ve been having an extremelydifficult time being around humans because of that experience you had just wentthrough, so he lets you take some time to calm down at first and not have tointeract with any humans.

· After you’ve sufficiently settled down, heslowly tries to get you more and more used to humans (specifically his humanfriends) and showing you that you can trust them.

· A lot of this includes Kaden showing you how helets people pet his tail and brush his fur, trying to show you that humans canbe kind and gentle, and that you can trust him.

· It takes a long while before he finallyconvinces you to let a single human touch your arm.

· Ever so slowly, you get more and more comfortablearound Kaden’s human friends, and eventually, you allow the one who you trustthe most to touch your tail.

· When that day happens, Kaden is just so proud ofyou, showering you in love, praise, and little pecks all over your face for therest of the week. He’s just so happy to see you healing from your past andgetting along with his friends.

Keaton

· Keaton can get SUPER overprotective of you attimes, so during the first week after you’ve been rescued, you never leave hissight.

· He also realizes that having you interact withthe others who are human is probably not a good idea in the beginning, so hetries to keep you entertained by showing you all of the treasures he’scollected (it’s actually really nice seeing him get so excited over all the thingshe has, telling you new stories, and he’s just so happy that you can’t help butfeel happy and at ease too.)

· When he first tries to get you used to thehumans who helped rescue you, he first introduces you to the ones who havehelped him personally, or have given him a treasure

· After a while, you do start to branch out alittle more, trusting more and more humans as you learn again that there aregood humans as well as bad.

· Keaton tries to pretend that he’s not THAT proudof you and happy that he could help (but his rapidly wagging tail gives himaway immediately).

Panne

· She completely understands your wariness aroundhumans, after all, she’s the last of her kind and also has had a hard timetrusting humans in the past.

· Since then, Panne’s learned to trust humans, andis willing to show you the path towards trusting them again, too.

· When you want to keep away from humans, sheallows it and keeps you company in turn, but makes sure that you don’t becomecompletely closed off from humans to make sure that your progress towardstrusting them isn’t reversed.

· She still makes sure to stress that not allhumans can be trusted, not trying to lead you into a false sense of security,only to have your trust broken once again, but also lets you know that certainhumans are alright to trust, namely the ones who have helped her in the past.

· For the first few weeks that you’re back, she’sconstantly at your side, making sure that you aren’t forced to interact withhumans by yourself.

· As she notices you becoming more and morecomfortable around humans, she lets you interact with them by yourself more andmore.

· You’ll occasionally see a warm, gentle smile onher face, revealing how proud and happy she is to see you on the path to recovery.

♡The second you walk into the room you and Panne shares, she just sort of knows. You’d never know how she does it, but some part of Panne is just able to tell whenever you’re feeling down.

♡ “Come and sit,” she says, patting the spot next to her on the bed. You do, of course, because she asked you nicely, and there’s nothing else to really do at a time like this.

♡ It’s silent for a moment after. “Would you like to share?” she asks, unsure of exactly what she should be saying. It’s different for humans than it is for taguel, but she’s trying.

♡ Whether you want to talk about it or not, she’ll be happy to listen or to sit with you as you think it over.

♡ She might not say much about it, but she makes her presence known. That in itself is probably the most comforting part.

♡ She’ll each in to give you a hug soon after. It’s something she’s learned from the other humans she’s constantly around, this hugging, but in her experience, it really does help when you’re feeling upset;;

♡ No matter how upset you are, a hug will escalate into cuddling. Nothing helps a person feel better than the warmth of a loved one, after all;;

♡ If you stroke her head she’ll let out a purr-y bunny noise that’s so cute it almost seems out of character for Panne;; It’s the sort of noise that makes it impossible to stay upset for much longer.

it’s finally happened…my wife is coming home at last!!

Though Panne is the more dominant one within a relationship, you’re going to have to make the first few moves pre-relationship. Aside from the fact that what little she knows about human courting rituals is vastly different from how taguel operate, she isn’t the type to make her affection obvious (especially since she thought human/taguel relationships weren’t a good idea). She’s much more open once she gets past those initial doubts.

She likes foraging for plants to give you! They aren’t your typical roses or other pretty flowers; most of them don’t even have blooms. Instead, she finds plants that smell nice/make good tea/have some sort of medicinal property. (She’s tried to give you herbs that have a great taste, but her definition of flavor is far different than yours.)

Enjoys playing with your hair. The first time she did it she was surprised at how different your hair feels than hers! Whenever you’re close to each other, she’ll twirl a strand around or run her fingers through it, feeling the texture.

Very, very little is able to make Panne lose her composure. However, if you smooch her ear she’ll practically combust.

Always very gentle with you. She’s much stronger than the average person, but with you, her touches are as soft as her pelt.

a/n: you sure can anon! i one day hope that we can get taguel’s and more beast type units in heroe’s. i hope that you like what i came up with!!

32. dancing

Human customs are still so odd, so foreign to Panne after marrying one another. From their odd ways of courting to admitting how each of them loves another and then marriage. Dancing was something that Panne was unsure of, as Taguel’s and humans dancing are both very different.

One has to do with remembered motions, backs often straight and leaning in close to the other, while the Taguel’s danced with their entire bodies, touching one another briefly throughout hands running through hair and ending the dance with a kiss.

So when Panne stood in the midst of the Shepard’s each dressed in fine clothes, smiles on their faces, and you in front of her, Panne was unsure of what to expect. She did not expect for you to switch to the Taguel’s way of dancing mere seconds into the human slow dance. Panne joined in the dance with you wholeheartedly, body twisting, touches fleeting but felt. Eyes holding contact while hair and body moved. Hands running through hair, and a breathless kiss marked the end of the song.

All Panne could do was smile, laugh and kiss you silly. When will humans with their odd customs and actions ever stop surprising her?

Panne

Panne doesn’t really mind that you’re shy. She’s not really a talkative person herself, so it works out.

In fact, she even finds your shyness to be adorable sometimes. The way you blush or look down makes her want to scoop you up and kiss you.

won’t force you out of your shell, but tries to ease you out of it. she knows how difficult it can be to relate to others, her for her grudges and you because of your shyness, so the both of you try and open up together!

you help panne overcome her hatred of humans by showing her the good side of people, and she helps you practice speaking your mind and saying ‘no’ to things. it’s a slow process, but it helps.

Selkie

Selkie is a bundle of energy, and the perfect contrast to your shyness.

She doesn’t mind being the one who talks to others in public, and always seems to know the right moment to sweep you away whenever you’re in an awkward situation.

Because of that, she might not completely understand your shyness, and that’ll cause conflicts between you two. + selkie often tries to drag you into things that you aren’t completely comfortable with, such as a crowded festival or speaking in front of the army (more than you have to, at least).

that’s when you have to tell her that you aren’t completely comfortable being put on the spot or around lots of people. she doesn’t understand, because she thought that it would help you practice being more open. you understand her intentions are good so you don’t scold her, instead try and get her to understand. + “it would be like if i made you sit in a room and play a boring game for an hour. you would hate it, right? that’s how i feel around people.”

she doesn’t do that again, but she is prone to throwing you into social situations, but she does most of the talking, keeping your hands linked the entire time.

you know, I wanted to be upset that rabbit wife didn’t make the beast unit banner, but I’m happy for the pre-awakefates fans that they started out with older units. it’s like intsys wants everyone to drink their respect older games juice before they release the newer characters. Also, this forging bonds is extremely good?? Leanne is such a cutie and is working harder right now than I have in my entire life total.

I’ve rambled long enough, so let’s put this panne energy out there so she comes home!!

Dates aren’t really a thing in Taguel culture. The whole concept strikes Panne as bizarre - the result of some human compulsion to structure and give name to everything, even something as simple as sharing a moment with a loved one. She simply spends her time with you, as a partner in life should.

You know what is important to Taguel? Grooming. She’s reluctant to accept your help grooming her at first - what would a human know of basic fur and ear care? - but she does teach you her routine after some prodding. She reciprocates as best she can with some adjustments to her techniques. Your hair has literally never been softer, and if it’s long enough, she’ll put it in braids similar to hers.

She’s perceptive of your moods…to a certain point. She notices changes in things like your body posture and heart rate easily, but can have trouble identifying the cause. Human emotions are often irrational, and their reactions complicated. If you’re not as direct as she is, don’t be afraid to be blunt about why you’re feeling a certain way!

One of her few pet names for you is “my mate.” She also uses it instead of “my partner/spouse” when referring to you. The Shepherds don’t bat an eye at this, but you may get some odd looks in public.

Speaking of being in public, she’s always on guard whenever she goes out to town. She gives off a strong “don’t mess with me” vibe that intimidates people immediately. This has its benefits - you feel extremely safe and protected walking with her, and merchants known for being dishonest (save for a few red-haired ones) become much more accommodating after noticing her glare.

Cuddling Panne (in either form) is a highly pleasant experience, due to how warm she is and the softness of her fur/hair. The only downside is that it’s the perfect recipe for falling asleep, so you only get a few minutes of Quality Snuggle Time before you’re out like a light.

She doesn’t fall asleep quite as easily, but enjoys the moment of peace and the slowed rhythm of your heart all the same.

There is not a bashful bone in Panne’s body. She has no reservations about accepting physical affection at any time, even if she finds some of your behaviors puzzling.

She likes to give those “bunny kisses” where you rub noses together. (Do not call them bunny kisses in front of her.)

She doesn’t kiss in the way humans do all that often. She finds it strange, but does indulge you every once in a while because she knows it makes you happy.

If you two are on different sides of the room/field/crowd, you’ll discreetly whisper compliments and sweet nothings to see if she’ll hear them. You have to pay close attention to see the warm smile that grows on her face when you do.

She’s not one to flatter, but she’ll compliment you in that matter-of-fact way of hers when she notices you being thoughtful or cute.

Even after being together for a while, she finds herself surprised at how much attention you give her. Not that she’s complaining (though she may roll her eyes fondly).

Physical contact is something she’d missed during those years living on her own, but never realized it until she met you. Her hope is that you’ll be together for many years to come.

Good taste babe…..here’s Panne’s for now, but keep your eyes peeled for Maribelle later on!

Panne knew humans were loud. She knew this. It was not new information in any way, shape, or form.

And yet, she still married the most excitable one she knew.

Why had she done this? She knew how you barked orders on the field, how your voice rose with excitement as you discussed some strategy you created or some book you read. Did she long to go deaf early? She knew the answer, of course - that you had stubbornly worked your way into her heart with the same dedication and energy you did everything with - but she still wanted to grumble for a while.

Since you two had first grown close, you tried to make a conscious effort to keep your voice low out of consideration for her sensitive ears. But as the days grew colder, she noticed you being…noisier than usual. Singing and humming and swaying as you went about errands and chores. She imagined you carried your tune all the way over to the boy exalt’s palace to work every day. What really got to Panne, though, is that it seemed to be the same few tunes, over and over. The noise was irritating, but the repetition was unbearable.

You were peeling carrots in the kitchen, repeating yet another overly sentimental verse, when Panne decided to intervene.

“Surely you know more melodies than that,” she called. “What has you fixated on these?”

“It’s a winter carol!” you chirped, momentarily pausing your incessant singing. “The festival’s happening soon, so it’s only right to get into the spirit.”

Ah, so that was it. Another of your strange customs. Taguel were typically sensible around this time of year, curling up together in their dens and sleeping as much as possible in order to stay warm and conserve energy. Panne couldn’t quite do the same anymore, but she was still much less active. Man-spawn must lack that sort of practicality. “Do you really have so few of them, these carols?”

“There’s other ones, but I can’t remember the lyrics to those. They’re too long, or too melancholy.”

“I see.” A longer song did not appeal to Panne at all. “Could you sing these less frequently?”

You laugh, unbothered by Panne’s bluntness by this point, before your eyes widen. “Oh. Oh! It’s a noise thing, isn’t it? I’ll do it less.”

“Thank you.”

Minutes passed to the comfortable sounds of cooking: the quiet pacing around the kitchen, the gentle bubbling of stew, the plop of vegetable chunks being added to the mixture, the scrape of the ladle around the rim. After a few moments, another sound arose - the same song you’d been singing prior, started over on the first verse.

“Robin.”

“Hmmm?…Oh, right! Sorry, sorry.”

Panne nodded and went back to basking in the warmth of the house. The heat of the fire and steam from the cooking provided a stuffy sort of heat that reminded Panne of those past winters, the ones spend huddled with the rest of her warren. Despite their bittersweetness, the memories were fond, and Panne found herself thinking back on those days with warm nostalgia. Maybe she should bring up the idea of kits sometime? Of course, she’d need to-

Her ear twitched, dragging her out of her thoughts and back to the present. It only took a moment to recognize the culprit. You weren’t singing, but the quiet (to your ears, anyway) humming was unmistakable.

“Hum one more note if that carol and I will stab you.”

“What…agh, shoot, not again! I didn’t even notice I was doing it!”

“How does one sing by accident?!”

“They’re just too catchy, Panne! I can’t stop!”

“I highly doubt that.”

As the light bickering continued, Panne mentally shelved the idea of kits away for another day. The house was plenty lively as is.
