12/31/23

New Year’s Eve went really well!

I was able to go dancing with my friend/ my brother’s girlfriend and her coworker and my brother and we had such a fantastic time!

I really needed to let my spirit shine and dance my heart out!

The lights were a lot for my brain and being around so many people was a lot too but I didn’t have a seizure while I was out and that was a big accomplishment considering all that I experienced that night! Yay!

Also, thank god for the woman’s rest room because I always feel safe in there and like I can go take a moment and re-center myself in a way, or at least try to, if that makes sense.

I used the bar bathroom several times for this as the night went on, I also kept my Fanny pack on with my ear plugs inside just in case, and sure enough at the end of the night after the big cheer for the new year, I was hit with the loud sound of people popping balloons, this was the perfect time to put my loops in and say goodbye.

My love had a big hug and kiss waiting for me at home as well as a happy dog and cat waiting to happily greet me.
