Dark Jason Grace who not only bares a striking resemblance to his mother, inherited all her rage and greif towards Jupiter.

Ok vague Jason thought but kid Jason in the wolf house and Lupa kills a kid and Jason is like oh that sucks but just another day in the Wolf House and Lupa is like well Jason aren’t you hungry and Jason is always hungry and Lupa is like well you have a meal right here dont you you are a wolf aren’t you and she’s dead. She was weak and you care for a weakling Jason? Do you want me to punish you!
And Jason is 3 and hungry and injured and he’ll starve to death but that’s another person but isn’t he a wolf and a weapon? And he needs food and she’s dead and it doesn’t matter right? Only the strongest survive and lupa will punish him if he doesn’t prove he’s strong and does it even matter that she’s dead because only the strongest survive so he eats her and tears away at her flesh and he feels nothing.

“dark percy this” “akhlys vs percy” that…
no.
dark jason grace.
when i was in my chemistry classes i was told that most decisions, most thoughts, most movements and most pains are caused by electrical currents going through our nerves.
i repeat.
everything your nerves do is electricity.
jason could, if he wanted to, tap into that. he could make you feel the most excruciating pain in the world without giving you a MINUTE to stop him. he could manipulate every thought you’re ever had and every movement of your body and you wouldn’t even NOTICE.
and that’s just talking about electricity and nerves. he controls wind and air too.
percy’s cool and all with his “70% of your body is made of water” but how about “i’ll take every atom of oxygen away from you and watch you rot faster than a dead body”? how about choking you despite the air being totally fine around you? taking away every bit of air in your bloodstream?
and what about air pressure? maybe i’m pushing it, but the way he saved piper in tlh speaks volumes on his control on the air around him. what if he can make your entire body implode on a whim by making the pressure around you exponentially higher?
jason has so, SO much potential.

slightly dark/unhinged jason grace au where he keeps suffocating monsters by either keeping air from getting into their lungs or filling them with dirty air and every time they collapse with a wheeze before turning to dust leo is eerily reminded of his mother inhaling the smoke of their burning shed
maybe one day jason even does this with an empousa and as she falls to her knees clutching her throat her brown hair and eyes look a little too much like esperanza valdez to leo and he hates it, but is it fair to tell jason to stop using his powers when he’s doing it all to save them?

Dark!Jason that gets his memories back and goes feral.
Just runs away, and everyone is scared or nervous because a child of the big three is mad at life and just ran away. Jump cut to Leo and Piper going on a ‘quest’ to find him, Piper gives up after a few months while Leo doesn’t because “Jason never gave up on me so I won’t give up on him” and “everyone gives up on me, I won’t let Jason feel the same.”
After almost a year, everyone had moved on and even got Leo a dog called Jason/Jay to help Leo move on. Just for the dog to go missing!! Leo doesn’t tell anyone but he had a tracking on the dog because he was smart so he goes out to find his dog because he won’t let the second Jason in his life disappear.
Only to find feral Jason holding his dog in a cave, surrounded by a wolf pack Jason had gotten adopted into. He stares at Leo as Leo entered the cave.
“You replaced me so soon~?”
“YOU WERE GONE FOR A YEAR, JAY. I TRIED TO FIND YOU-“
“I know. I was watching you.”
Cue to Leo promising to help Jason as long as Jason promised to keep contact with him, just to find out Jason was planning to over throw his dad.
Dark!Jason who is confused when the others try to ‘talk sense’ into him, who bares his teeth at them and growls. A Jason who after all the gods forced him through goes back to his roots and to the only goddess ever to felt like family to him, who went back to the wolfs who raised him.
(I went a bit off topic🤯)

ive seen posts about dark percy and dark jason but what about
dark little three?
now for some context (cuz that name sounds silly), the little three popularly consists of jason, percy and nico (sometimes thalia, percy and nico but i'll be mostly talking about the boys)
but what if all three boys just one day snap? after dealing with the gods' bs for so long - such as defeating titans and primordial beings for them, saving the world too many times to count, being treated like toys for the gods, losing friends and family just for the sake of justice - percy, nico and jason just lash out in anger?
percy can bloodbend and dehydrate to torture
jason can quite frankly manipulate nerve impulses and air molecules in the body
nico can instantaneously kill and banish literally anyone into hell
they would be unstoppable, undefeatable (let's ignore the big three for now)
and to add on, what if jason and nico manage to convince thalia and hazel respectively to join them as well? just imagine: two children of Hades, two children of Zeus, and one child of Poseidon teaming up and destroying everything?
idk how tf mortals will call that as "natural calamities"
(credits to @goldenqingxin for this idea)

He's already preator and there's talk that she might become one too once the current preator retires. But she comes back from one quest and barely talks to him. Jason is well-versed in rejection.
Jason Grace who fights Krios himself because everyone expects him to. It doesn't feel like rejection. Jason becomes well-versed in something else: expectations.

Jason Grace who keeps a close eye on the physician's cure because he knows he will have to drink it. Jason is well-versed in expectations.
Jason Grace who cannot speak to his father but decides to take a stand. Jason is not well-versed in defiance but he hopes to be.
Jason Grace who watches the fiery explosion with tears in his eyes. He was not rejected by his friends and did not fulfill the expectations of a sacrifice. But Leo dying hit Jason too hard. Jason must become well-versed in defiance.
Jason Grace who goes against his father's wishes to keep everything hush-hush. He is the high priest and he will bridge the gap between the camps and fhd campers and Gods. Jason is well-versed in defiance.
Jason Grace who is left in the cold cabin after PIper confessed her feelings; just not for him. Jason remembers he is well-versed in rejection.
Jason Grace who still takes the fatal blow for an immortal who would never remember his efforts. Jason Grace must remember he is well-versed in expectations.
Jason Grace who will be remembered not as the rejected or expected. Jason Grace the defiant.

"you're losing your edge, grace."
jason raised an eyebrow at that. "you know, an edge isn't the only thing that kills a man. you'll be surprised what brute force can do."

The Blood of Gods
Liquid seeps into the soil.
The clash of metal ringing all around.
Red, a mortal’s plight.
To live such a short life.
Oh, Warrior given a moment of glory,
Of spilled blood for the Gods' need for gore.
Their armor dented,
But their hearts race free.
Free, but they're bound in chains.
A pretty golden chain for thee.
Scars among their bodies,
Proudly displayed battles won.
The battle a stage to be viewed,
Laughter and cheers or boos and jeers.
An arena of entertainment!
Gods clap, thunder follows.
Gods cry, rain falls.
Gods smile, and the sun sears.
Gods! Gods! Gods!
They must cheer.
Blood offered for Gods.
The immortal’s lips stained red.
Is it blood or wine?
The gods love it all the same.
Only in death can they be free,
But even death is ruled by immortal beings.
Thus, mortals left forever at the Gods' whims.
Lesser, worthless, insignificant things.
A bug to be crushed under their heels.
Their lives and deaths sacrificed to the Gods!
To bow before their superiors!
Kissing the dirt! It’s where they belong!
Grovel before the Gods’ magnificence!
Mortal’s eyes don’t deserve such beauty!
Eyes burned from their sockets, if they ever saw.
For Gods’ true sights are monstrous beings.
This poem is also connected to my PJO one-shot if anyone wants to read the full thing, and not just the poem 😆

Just... Jason losing it after Leo's death.
Everyone celebrating the fall of Gaea, and the cheers fall silent as Jason screams.
It doesn't even sound human.
The winds are howling, billowing in all directions in a mass of formless rage.
No one can move because the air is so heavy it's almost suffocating.
Jason is unrecognisable.
Lighting crackles across his skin. His kind smile gone, there's nothing but anger and anguish. The face of someone who's lost everything.
Its no so much that he's in the eye of a hurricane.
But the hurricane itself.
"LEOOOO!!!!"

Jason and Percy.
Everyone expects Percy to be the feral one, and to some extent he is. Jason is polite and rule following and Percy definitely isn’t.
But one of them is down with murder and chewing your enemies to death and it isn’t Percy

Dark Jercy who satisfies their desire to use their power by killing offenders.
just think about it.
The police of New York and California are horrified by the brutal lynching of unknown people, the murders began with strangulation and fracturing of the skull ending with throat slit to the chest and prolonged drowning.
And many other things that are simply impossible.
The dead were alive and most likely conscious when this happened.
Corpses look indescribably terrible, specialists with many years of experience, who just saw this, lock themselves in the bathroom for a long time and after a long conversation with psychologists.
Some glorify these vigilantes as cruel heroes and defenders, some despise them considering them calculating sadists.
No one will ever know who it was and no one will ever pay attention to a cute couple of students in love.
that sounds insanely cool honestly, like what would the mist show them? imagine literal physicists looking at the dead to figure out how in the world someone had 0% blood oxygen in broad daylight in like, NYC…
on that note though, i bring you wanted criminals:
whoever they’ve killed, it was for survival— but the way it happened made them both look like heartless murderers, so they’re on the run from everything (FBI, interpol, CIA). only a handful of detectives actually are on the case and those who researched long enough know that these boys have given the authorities the opportunity to dismantle multiple laundering fronts… so technically, instead of being wanted, they’re kinda being headhunted…
not coherent but whatever percy is wanted for, apply it to jason too. sprinkle some self defence, dark web or yakuza-esque stuff, and hoo antagonists and we’ve got the perfect unintentional mafia AU..

based off of the post @goldenqingxin made about dark jason grace — jason vs. akhlys, ft. leo & piper (with the TINIEST hints of valgrace if you really overanalyze it. it’s like, one line.) i had house of hades open while writing this just to confirm the events; the first part starts at page 355, but i skipped to 362. hope you like it! fyi — this is very rushed. i wrote it in about an hour and a few minutes. enjoy, and all constructive criticism is very welcome.
Jason didn’t know what to think.
His brain was clouded with the fumes and the air of the place, and it just kept getting worse the more they walked; he felt like a zombie, mindlessly following the poisonous plants sprouting wherever Akhlys walked. It would’ve been better if Bob was there, if they hadn’t been made to leave him because he “cannot take this path”. He was good for emotional support. So was the Skeleton Kitten.
But now, they were heading right to the Death Mist, lead by the misery goddess, who was probably going to kill them because she wanted to see them in misery, too. Predictably so.
He felt his movements getting slower as they trudged on. His vision was getting weird; the ground seemed to be moving up and down, the sprouting plants looked to be swaying in that dizzying way, and his eyes kept switching focus like a rather annoying phone camera.
It’s not like he would feel any better if they left, because they would still be in Tartarus, but at least leaving would mean going back to where Bob was. Jason wanted to run back, run as far as he could and never look back — not until a hellish monster clawed into him and he’d die. Where would he go, even, if he was killed here? He just wanted to go back up. To land. To camp.
But he couldn’t do that. His arms felt glued to nothingness. Besides, he couldn’t leave Piper and Leo. Gods, Piper and Leo. They weren’t handling Tartarus well at all, no matter how much they tried to hide it. If there was a way he could send them back up and just let him close the doors, he’d do it. Leo wouldn’t stop blaming himself for what happened ever since they fell. Piper had to keep reminding him that she and Jason chose to fall with him. Jason frequently thought of telling Leo he wasn’t going to lose him again, but always decided against it.
Finally, they arrived; the fog dissipated as they stopped on a peninsula over a pitch-black void. Jason wondered what it would if be like to fall in it.
“Here we are.”
He fell to the ground. His throat felt like it was closing in on itself. Everything felt dry. He wanted to yell, to tell Piper and Leo to run, to live. But he couldn’t.
“You will feed the eternal darkness,” Akhlys said. “You will die in the arms of Night!”
He could hear Piper yelling his name, but it felt so far away, she felt far away — Leo was yelling for Akhlys, trying to distract her, but her focus was entirely on the child of Zeus, the one who insulted her power, called her a minor goddess, and (stupidly) tried to electrocute her before remembering he was in hell — the sky couldn’t help him here.
The poison continued to spread across the ground. Jason thought of what Percy would do if he were here — could Poseidon kids control other liquids? It was really too bad Jason wouldn’t live long enough to test that with Percy.
Something clicked in his head. Fumes were air, weren’t they? The gears — gears, like the ones Leo used all the time, back in camp — started turning in his head. If he could control air, why not fumes?
Jason took a deep breath and coughed — Gods, the air made his throat rough and his voice painfully husky — he could see Akhlys open her mouth, clearly ready to insult him, ready to tell him that he was hopeless, to remind him that he was about to die — but before she could do that, Jason sent the poison fumes straight into her nostrils, causing her to snort and take a step back.
What did this freakish lady need to breathe, anyway? He could choke her with her own air. Her own poisonous, downright acidic air that she’d made him and his friends breathe in, that Jason saw Piper and Leo look like actual fucking corpses in — sights he’d never be able to erase. Gods, fuck this woman.
Her mouth remained agape as she wheezed, unable to speak. Jason forcefully filled her system with the air and stopped her from breathing it out. He stopped her from exhaling.
He forced himself to get up off the ground as he continued to withhold Akhlys’ body from expelling the poison air. He thought of how angry he was that they were there; how angry he was that Piper and Leo had to be there — they should’ve been back at camp, enjoying life. That the doors of death even had to be closed in the first place, the fact that they were opened — that probably wasn’t her fault, but she was Misery — she probably enjoyed all the misery she gave them. Jason was just returning it.
He wanted the poison to turn all her insides to mush. He wanted to see her rot more than she already disgustingly was. He wanted to see her stop simply looking like a corpse and actually become one.
“Jason!” Piper yelled. He couldn’t see her, but he sensed something in her voice — “Jason, stop!”
It wasn’t charmspeak. It was desperation.
He glared at Akhlys one more time before allowing her to exhale, watching as she collapsed , her milky white eyes staring up at him in horror.
“Leave!” He commanded, and the goddess scrambled immediately as she ran away. She wailed along the way, but her voice was still hoarse.
Jason finally turned to Piper and Leo, taken aback by their faces. Piper’s eyes were wide and looked like they would’ve been crying had she allowed them to. Leo’s were just pure horror. Jason didn’t like it.
“What — what the fuck?” Leo stared at him in fear, and his voice wavered.
“Jason, don’t…” Piper took a shaky breath. “Please.”
“I’m sorry.” He wasn’t. But the last thing he wanted was another thing for his friends to be scared of.
