Paring: Brother Chris & Scott x toddler! Reader

Summary; in the height of the lockdowns for the pandemic we all remember the scare games. Let’s just see one of those times it goes wrong.

Of course the whole point of war for the other not to know when it was going to happen but add their baby sister into the mix one afternoon.

All hell breaks loose.

Scott had put y/n down for a nap and was just chilling in the kitchen. Chris no where to be seen. He knew that probably meant a scare was being schemed, but Chris wouldn’t do that whilst she was napping right? He thought.

Time went by, he was just catching up on work, reading new scripts and replying to emails whilst listening out for if y/n woke up.

Most of the time she’d just climb out of bed because she had toddler bed with a rail just for her comfort and the brothers piece of mind.

Chris went to go scare Scott running round the corner into the kitchen, he soon found out he didn’t run into to him or dodger it was a sleepy y/n with her messy bed head, dummy hanging off her sleep suit and blankie tailing behind.

“Rawr!!! Scott I got you!!!” Chris screamed.

Tears lines her eyes, conflicted at why chrissy just did that, loud cries engulfed the entire room, echoing into the living room where Scott was currently going through emails on the couch.

“Chris what the hell is going on!” He asks as he walks into the kitchen, y/n running to him away from Chris. “Come here bubbas, you’re okay, it’s okay.” He tries to console a sleepy little y/n who’s basically having a meltdown.

Chris was sheepishly stood by the fridge, trying to make y/n a bottle as a little “I’m sorry”

It took a while for Scott to calm her down, before she would even let Chris anywhere near her or even let him try and get a word in without crying again.

“Bubs, come here sweet girl I’ve got something for you” He says as he shakes the bottle up for it to be ready to present to his little love.

“Mhmh Crissy” she mumbles from behind her dummie snuggling more into Scott before fully giving Chris another chance.

“I’m sorry sunshine, Chrissy is sorry baby” he sits in her room on the nursing seat that his sister insisted upon for her room at his house.

He rocks her as he tells her how much he loves her and how sorry he is, looking down at a sleepy milk drunk bubba lull herself back into her sleepy slumber he interrupted.

He knows next time, scare games can go wrong.

And let’s just say Scott wasn’t happy with him for the rest of the day…

Oh I wanna take Dodger on a walk so bad, with Chris and all the beautiful autumn sceneries, but I'll just opt for a movie day. Or just my phone. Hot drinks, I love hot chocolate but with some coffee, or just having my comfort food (maggi all the way), fuzzy socks, fuzzy blankets, tons of soft cushions and for the movie... Chris Evans x autistic daughter

Summary: finally the holidays are here, school is out and so is the routine. Chris helps reader though the struggle of routine change.

It was finally December 17th, school was out for the holidays. Three long weeks of social events and recuperation it couldn’t come sooner the relief that left your face was comforting for you dad to but he knew that with the relief came the hardship of the dreaded routine change.

Like clockwork you are up at 7am on the dot ready to go though your morning routine, by 8 it was blueberry pancakes in the kitchen for breakfast. Something was off you could sense it, you knew it was the holidays but where was your dad… you thought, that thought was soon shook off when you noticed the time. Finishing the rest of you breakfast like it was going to disappear.

You were late. You were never late. Routine it’s my routine, it’s good.

That was what tipped you over the edge. No one could ever predict how badly routine changes would affect you it was always different.

So when Chris heard a sobbed scream from the kitchen he knew the realisation had hit for you. Sprinting like his life depended on it with sleep still ever present, in his joggers that he went to bed in he got to the kitchen in 5 seconds but it felt like 5 minutes.

Gripping you softly, as to not make you hurt yourself, he murmurs “breathe for me baby, breathe.”

Hyperventilating the slow steady rise and fall of the hard object your sloped against in a exhausted pile of yourself. Slowly you come back to your senses the ringing stops, the dizziness fades. It’s your dad the lifeline you always came back to.

“Hey sweetie, you don’t have to say anything but how about we talked about a routine for the holidays, you can work on some coursework whilst I work in my office if you want to - if you think it’ll help.” Chris says noting your quiet exhausted demeanour. He knew routine was essential for you to keep some sort of grasp on reality.

“Huh, yeah that sounds good dad, thank you for always being the level head whilst I’m all wobbly and out of sorts.” A small smile formed on your face.

It made Chris’ heart flood with relief.

“My pleasure sweetheart.” He lightly kisses her forehead.

A couple of days later the plan previously mentioned was underway and it seemed to be working really well. It not only made Chris smile it made you feel content and like you had a hold of something.

Sometimes if you needed it you would go on the daily dog walk in the morning with dodger and your dad, just to get out of the same “4 walls” that sometimes drove you nuts.

But all in all the holidays were always the best regardless of if the routine was out.

Finally finally, she’s back.

I’m gonna get straight to it, I might be leaving again in a weeks time ( I don’t know i literally just get an email telling me it drives me insane) but I thought whilst I really have masses of downtime here is the first ask after a long hiatus!

Warnings: just Luna being sad anxious, and overthinking her exam results and softy! Dad Chris is back 🥹 we love him, semi destructive behaviour *just an outburst that Chris has to deep pressure hug Luna to help her calm*

It doesn't take him too long to figure out what's wrong with Luna, even if she's shut herself down.

He comes up to her door, listening for any signs of crying or distress, "Luns, Bubba can I come in" he asks as he knocks on the door.

"Mhmhm sure Dad let me just put this away" her voice cracked as she tried not to give away anything to her dad because he didn't need to know.

Little did she know he hurt that little crack loud and clear, it hurt him that she was hurting, he opened the door it creaked as it opened bringing more of Luna's room into view, he made a mental note to oil the hinges later. "Hey love.. he asked inquisitively pausing when he saw her puffy red face "Have you been crying?" He asked.

"No!" she snaps out of frustration not releasing what she did until she snapped at him

Chris was taken aback by the way she reacted but he knew it wasn't on purpose. He padded over to her bed, her face covered in blankets. Hugging her lightly, taking a deep breath, taking a moment to calm down he looked at Luna with all the love in his and said "Don't lie to me, I care about you".

That just breaks the floodgates down, tears running rapidly down her face clouding her vision, the outline of her dad, and the blurry outline of a certain ginger and white patchy dog. She feels stupid, so stupid it's not even a reason to be this worked up over it, it's just classic Luna.

It was just a simple exam, just a simple f**king exam and she couldn't even wait for the result.

Turns out when she thought the next thing, she was thinking out loud, *I feel so stupid." She stuttered at the end, and then she thought *Nope I didn't just say that out loud stupid*. Her heart sank at the look on her dad's face. Here comes the spiel of boosting her confidence, it always works though.

"Luna, why would you say that, hmm?" He looked at her in disbelief.

It was getting destructive she was eating herself from the inside out with the thought she needed, out of her head.

"Because I am stupid! It's a stupid test result and I can't seem to not just do it normally, I have to pull a

'Classic Luna' she says mockingly, and overthink everything single. The thing I do!" She shouts, at what or who she didn't know.

He grabs her gently as she has her outburst into the general world, once again the gates break and the tears stream rapidly again.

"Shhh, hey hey... It's okay. It's okay sunshine. He whispers into her ear trying not to move her from where she's nestled in his neck. "It's okay, Luna you should never feel stupid for a situation that is out of your control, love you regardless of the result Bubba. Regardless of anything you are still my best girl, you are the best daughter. The smartest and most confident person in the world, and I know Scott would say you the best goddam niece ever too." He laughed as he tickled her lightly to get a smile out of her.

All in all, she's the smartest and sweetest girl he'll ever have the privilege of being a parent to, and that's all that matters to him.

“bubba saved the day always”

Paring: Chris Evans x toddler! Reader

Warnings: toddler! Reader feeling icky and just overwhelmed, medication, chris being the best brother ever, cuddles, just feeling icky and fluff

Summary: Chris looks after y/n when she wakes him up in the middle of the night because she feels icky but not like she has before when she’s been ill.

Waking up in the middle of the night wasn’t something you’d do often, but when you walked into chris’ room your head feeling like it’s been shaken because it hurt so bad, you stomach was in knots but most of all your body just felt like it was being weighted down.

Waking over to chris’ bed, blankie trailing behind you and Timmy the sheep in your hand where he lay starfished asleep dead to the world, you tried to wake him.

“Bubba, bubba wake up ‘lease” you whispered feeling bad on top of what you already felt for waking him up

Slowly Chris woke up to the world, a little sweet voice pulling him away from his dreamless deep sleep.

“Hmm? Lovebug what’s going on hmm.. why aren’t you asleep?” He said sleep heavy looking over to where you were standing.

“Feel icky bubba” she whispers in to his chest after being lifted on to Chris to snuggle into his chest.

As you were laying on Chris’ chest he could feel how warm you were no wonder you felt not like your usual self.

“Oh lovebug, not feeling too hot huh. Let’s go get you some medicine to make you feel better okay?” He whispered knowing you wouldn’t like the medicine as soon as it was mentioned.

Giving you a reassuring cuddle whilst you both made your way downstairs you never failed to make your bubba laugh even if you weren’t feeling good.

“Bubba can have apple ‘auce” y/n asked snuggling into chris more knowing what was to come.

“Of course lovebug, we can get some applesauce and some medicine okay to make you feel all better” he chuckled peppering kisses on to her forehead.

A whine left y/ns lips knowing that she had to have medicine, hearing this chris just holds her closer. He mixes the calpol in so he knows she gets the full amount.

“It’s okay lovebug, I’m gonna put you down on the counter and get you a sippy cup of ‘juice’ hmm” he gently smiles.

That cup of ‘juice’ being grape flavoured kinderlyte that they keep in the fridge for you whenever you need a little more hydration.

“Ma lady lovebug here is your applesauce, do you need help?” He chucked at your sleepy face.

“Mhmhm ‘elp ‘lease bubba” y/n whispered to him

Okay lovebug, let’s get this in you then we can go get into bubbas bed and watch Timmy with cuddles, come’ere let me help.” He picked up the spoon and started to spoon feed y/n.

Once it was all gone, he carried her on his hip up to his room and snuggled her up in his chest, sleepily she asked for Timmy. And an hour later you were both out like a light, the next morning you woke up feeling so much better than last night.

Bubba made you feel better even just him hugging you when you didn’t feel like yourself made you feel better.

He was the best, bubba saved the day always.

Just a little oneshot about Luna saying her first word!

It was a normal day in the Evans’ house, Chris was off from filming, Luna was being Luna and getting used to walking since she recently got that skill down.

Holding on to the couch she can walk but hey she’s walking and Chris couldn’t be more than happy now he just needs to hear her first word and he’ll be so happy! But he knows it happens when it happens.

Toddling along the couch one hand gripped onto it, the other waving around for balance. Babbling to herself Chris glances over at her, smiling ear to ear at how sweet she looks with her now found independence.

“Baba - bababaah” she babbles whilst focusing on walking over to her dada on the couch who is reading a script looking up at her every once in a while.

“What did you say bubba?” Chris asked curiously

“Baba” Luna giggled pointing to her bottle on the coffee table

“Baba? - oh my god! Luna your said your first word!” He got up laughing ecstatically picking her up too and throwing her up in the air, luna laughing at her dad laughing too.

“Baba! Baba!” she giggled after chris put her down.

“So is it safe to say Luna wants a baba?” He asks his still giggling daughter.

“Ya baba! Baba!” She shouted giggling as she spoke.

Now let’s just say chris had to ask her if she really wanted a baba all the time now, because that’s what she said for a week straight until she learnt apple sauce was a thing ❤️
