On a scale from 1-10, how weird is to hear all about your brand new girlfriend’s mom’s suicide attempts? Just asking for a friend. Beau might only be on Date #3 if we’re counting the sexy ravioli date, but he’s unlocking the first of much family trauma during this trip to the Cullen household. There’s ugly carpets, old paintings, and books and music galore! Beau is rolling with the punches in today’s chapter, and by punches I mean “tackles” because when Edythe tries to scare him, he just gets turned on about it. They make fun baseball plans with Archie and Jessamine, and if you’re quiet enough you can just barely hear Supermassive Black Hole playing in the distance. Things only get more exciting from here and I can’t wait to see the mess!

Twilight Reimaged pt. 1 (Edward x Beau)

- Beau knew for certain that he was gay when he was twelve years old and Adam Harrisburg transferred to his school and Beau got a big ol’ crush on him. It took him a few months before it finally clicked that he never felt that way about a girl before and another month before he realized he never would. It was a long discussion with Renee and an even longer (more nerve-wracking) discussion with Charlie. Beau cried when they both promised him they would always love him and support him and see him as my Beau no matter who he loved.

- Edward never acknowledged that he was gay, being born in a time when being gay wasn’t really a thing you were. It was something you hid and prayed no one found out about. He only started to slowly come to terms with the fact when he saw Marlon Brando in A Streetcar Named Desire (he soon ditched him for Paul Newman). Esme was happy that Edward was at least capable of having feelings for another being. Carlisle was more subdued about his acceptance of Edward, and they never really discussed it.

- When Beau came to Forks he knew the chances of him being the openly gay student were very high. He felt very uncomfortable when the female student body showed him more attention than they needed to and he subtly hinted at the fact that they weren’t even close to his type. Jessica had laughed and Beau watched in shock as Lauren moodily handed her $5.

- “It’s very obvious, Beau,” she informed him, “when you know what to look for.” Beau had scowled at that but let it go, more than glad that his new friends seemed so okay with him being gay. When Beau got to Biology and sat down next to Edward he knew for a fact he was screwed. The guy was too beautiful to actually be real and then Edward smiled at him (a small smile, but still a smile) and Beau was officially fucked. So very, very fucked.

- Edward can’t hear Beau’s thoughts and that’s the first thing that draws Edward in. The second thing is that Beau is very handsome, with fair skin and rosy cheeks and a full pink mouth that looks very soft. He was also tall, nearly as tall as Edward, with a thick mess of dark hair and the prettiest brown eyes Edward has ever seen. He can hear Beau’s pulse go crazy and a rush of satisfaction runs through Edward at the thought of Beau finding him attractive. Edward very badly wants to know this boy.

- “You must be Beau Swan,” he says, making his voice soft as to not scare him. Beau nods, swallowing hard and flushing. “I’m Edward Cullen, it’s very nice to meet you.” Beau grins, and Edward can’t help but smile back because God, Beau has a very smile and Edward might very well be in love already. “It’s very nice to meet you, Edward Cullen.”

Last Line Tag!

Ooooh, it's been forever since I last played this game - thanks Annie (@udaberriwrites) for tagging me! Even better, I have something unexpected as my most recently worked on fic- the second chapter of Flora Fati, Mimulus Guttatus! It's been way too long since I first posted that, but I also figured out quite a few things... including a certain Fae thing XD

The full moon cast a bright aura about the otherwise dark and cool forest. Golden moonrays pierced the forest canopy to strike at towering stone columns surrounding a large open-air bath. Wrought iron floor torches cast a soft, orange glow about the night air and warm white marble lined the bath, descending into a vacant pool. Tendrils of sweet herbal-scented steam rose from its surface, inviting Beau into its embrace.

Lured in by the comforting blend of sweet basil, eucalyptus, and lavender, Beau let his sheer white robe slip fluidly to the floor and sauntered forward, soon descending into the fragrant pool. Beau closed his eyes, letting himself savor the warm waters when a trace of sensual spice weaved through the sweet space.

‘The moonlight truly enhances your beauty, passerculum.’

The heat of deeply-rooted desire set aflame by those deep tones burned him through.

A desire for sangria eyes and soft words, for cool lips and deft hands caressing him.

A desire that overtook his every waking moment and had him chasing the nights.

So get this - some dumbass anon cried to me in the asks about the annoyance of having to scroll past 10 M/M fics to get to 185 het fics and didn't even get their logic about genderbend AU tags right lol

Demanded I remove accurate ship tags instead of curating their feed. Confidently incorrect, much?

And yet... I'm not even mad. I'm kind of amused, tbh.

Supposedly this rarepair anon doesn't know how to use filters (super odd... but sure), but they still found my Bellisle rarepair corner. Impressive, if you ask me.

Oh yeah, the idiot also found my Tumblr, even though the only ways to find this blog are through my fics (which they supposedly scroll past) or by knowing me personally (and I wouldn't associate with this level of dumbass). What a terrible liar lol

Ah, and seeing my gay fics polluting their het space bothered them... but they didn't even mute me. It's a wonder they've lasted this long on AO3 and it's not often I run into someone lazier than me~ XD

Also... this anon has some terrible grammar and abuses commas. Like... I know I use a lot of ellipses and em-dashes... but lol that was bad
