Mark Lee ; Met up with his ex-girlfriend.

You're still insecure about his ex-girlfriend and Mark knows that. So when your friends saw him on a coffee shop with her, they immediately confronted him and told you. Privately, you asked him about it, but he couldn't give you a straight answer. He wasn't looking at you properly and was being defensive. You can see tears in his eyes, but you know that there's a reason why he met up with her. Your thoughts are still clouded with your emotions, so you walked away, asking Mark to give you space.

Huang Renjun ; Saw him holding hands with his 'girl best friend.'

You always have doubts with Renjun's girl best friend. When you first met her, she seems sweet but was a bit clingy to Renjun. So when you saw them together, holding hands, you feel weirded about it. Later on, you opened it up to Renjun and he becomes defensive about his best friend, and he told you that you're overeacting. You tried to defend yourself and wonder why your boyfriend is on his best friend's side. The argument stopped when Renjun walked away first, leaving you there to cry.

You two had a small argument before going to a club with your friends. You tried to loosen up but you didn't expect that Chenle would go around tables flirting with other girls. You felt your chest tightening at the sight of your boyfriend laughing with other girls while you two are not okay. You walked-out of the club, not even saying goodbye to your friends. You tried to wipe the tears away, typing "Have fun there because we're done," to Chenle before going home. The next day, he sent you tons of messages trying to explain himself but you don't want to believe him anymore.

Lately Jisung has been so distant with you and you tried to understand him given that college is really hectic. I was thinking of a high school au too!

Lucifer, Adam, Lilith and Eve are childhood friends. Lucifer has always been in love with Adam.

Lucifer is still the king of hell, he was married to Adam in Hell after a lot of harsh ships. Something happens and they’re reborn on Earth. Lucifer is told if he can make Adam fall in love with him again, they’ll return to the life they had.

Lucifer believes the easiest way to do this is to have Adam regain his memories. He does this by repeating his actions in hopes it would spark something. He starts with wooing Lilith when Adam confided in him about his crush on Lilith. Then when Adam began to date Eve and Lucifer is able to get Eve to cheat on Adam with him. His actions succeed! But not in the way he expected…both Lilith and Eve regain their memories but not Adam. Lucifer only succeeded in Adam hating him.

Adam leaves their friendship group due to the betrayal - he thought Lucifer was his best friend. They had sleepovers and everything growing up.

Lucifer is comforted by Lilith and Eve who told him Adam will come around and forgive him, just as he did in the previous time period. They all expected Adam to come back and be their friend again….only he never did.

Adam ignores them all. He doesn’t talk to them. He’s completely broken their friendship with him. Two years have passed and they’re all on the verge of graduating school and about to go to university.

Stakes get high when they learn that Adam is going to attend a university on the other side of the world. Where God has decided he will die and return to Heaven. Now everyone is going overdrive before Sera is able to get her claws into the first man again…

The best way to prevent this, Lucifer decides is to reveal his true identity. Only it freaks Adam out even more because hello!! He had had sleepovers with the devil himself !

Adam has not just Lucifer to deal with chasing him through the school, but Lilith and Eve too. He just wants to service his senior year in peace…without any backstabbing assholes or two faced quacks.

That sounds like a wild fucking ride man!

okay but imagine the grindelwald! harry au mixed with that ybtm(ibty) au where it's actually harry that goes to nathan's world. i would assume that dumbledore wouldn't allow those rumors to spread if harry came to him first, but if harry had built up a reputation beforehand... it's technically not allowed/ taboo to discuss the rumor (not like the school can place a ban on it), but the whole student body knows it by the time harry is there and assisting dumbledore. dumbledore can't even claim harry as his son or relative at this point because it would just end in even more disaster. harry is super adverse to the rumor but his refusal just kinda stokes the flames higher and at this point even grindelwald is aware that his supposed son is hanging out with dumbledore at hogwarts. and wouldn't that be rejection of the highest order again? or perhaps he wouldn't really even believe the rumor but that power that harry effortlessly wields, that's something to see. i feel like nathan would believe harry when he said that he wasn't grindelwald's son, but orion would do the real plotting when he connects nathan's attackers to grindelwald, like, the amount of drama orion lives for is RIGHT THERE orion would prob be disappointed when he doesn't see results tho lol, but he has plenty of other entertainment. like harry and his everything. and tom too, but he sees tom more than harry, and tom likes to hide everything, so. anyways this idea has consumed me so i'm sorry about the word vomit lmao your aus are very plot-bunny inducing

A spin off of Dark Side of the Moon where Harry side-stepped Dumbledore and Hogwarts completely, and became some vigilante-esque figure in the Wizarding underworld because his saving people thing was alive and well even if he's a grumpy boy.

His actions - stepping in and defending others regardless of status or species, breaking up the more destructive and illegal rings in Knockturn and making things a little safer for those living there, dodging the aurors with all the skill of a career criminal, etc. - drew attention.

Because of course they did.

And people loved to gossip about him.

Harry was focussed on trying to get home (he has yet to chat with Death), and unintentionally kicked off some of those rumours himself. Rumours that, for some reason, had people thinking he was Grindelwald’s son?

(It was absolutely because of the Deathly Hallows tattoo on his hip - don’t ask how it got there, don’t ask how the group of hags spotted it, Harry purged that memory from his brain, it did not happen).

Anyway.

Harry was strolling around Knockturn on Halloween and stepped in to chase off the men attacking Nathan, safely whisked the boy back to his family and let them know that Grindelwald’s men were on the prowl. Benedict took that warning seriously, and Cynthia proposed Harry stop by one afternoon for tea as a thank you.

And one gossipy vampire who witnessed Harry curb-stomp Grindelwald’s men spread the word that the Dark Lord’s apparent son was ‘on the outs’ with his father because why else would he attack a group of Acolytes unless there was trouble in paradise?

Long, long story short - Harry eventually ended up at Hogwarts as some weird teacher assistant / in protective custody / a God (people are too scared to ask at this point). He just chilled in the school, occasionally disappearing without a word to dismantle an illegal poaching organisation or bulldoze through some of Grindelwald’s men.

It was only after a few months that Harry even heard the rumour that people think he’s Grindelwald’s disgruntled, long-lost son. He tried denying it at first but by this point the rumour is so pervasive and wide-spread that he couldn’t change it. So Harry just rolled with it.

“Why yes, I am Gellert’s son. Yes, I think his political agenda is stupid. No, he’s not all powerful, he’s actually a moron and I’m going to break his nose when I next see him.”

People are lowkey terrified. Nathan has his pseudo-older brother who is training him to be a badass. Orion is frothing at the mouth and Tom is vibrating at a frequency that could propel himself into the sun.

TOBY AND EJ IN YOUR AU PLEASE

Hello, sorry it took me so long to respond! I was quite busy today lol

I like Toby and EJ, so I have quite a bit on them! Sorry if you don't like them because they're not the most canon accurate, they're actually a bit more on the fanon side in some parts ;) I wanna give some more slice-of-life headcanons but if you want more serious ones I'll give them to you!

Toby

-So you know that 'Toby loves waffles :3" thing? Well in my AU it was a thing that happened but just not to that extreme. When he first moved into the mansion (Yes this is a Slendermansion AU), Waffles were his safe food and he ate them quite a lot, making the other residents at the time to make an inside joke about Toby loving waffles. These days he can't even look at a waffle without Jeff and Ben screaming "SAY THE LINE!" and staring at him until he says it.

It basically goes like:

Slender: What do you want for breakfast? Toby: *nervously fidgeting* Toby: *whispers* Waffles. Ben, from the other side of the room: DID I JUST HEAR SOMEONE SAY WAFFLES?? Ben and Jeff, in unison: SAY THE LINE TOBY! *UNCOMFORTABLE EYE CONTACT* Toby: *sighs* I love waffles. Ben: FUCK YEAH! Toby: I hate this stupid house.

-He's basically immune to Slender Sickness. Due to being around Slender so much he doesn't feel nauseous around him and gets really confused when newer residents get it when they first see him.

-He often has periods where he's really apathetic to most things and doesn't care, and then in the blink of an eye becomes an uncontrollable mess. He's got poor emotional regulation and when he gets irritated he goes into a RAGE about it.

-He secretly learnt Necromancy from a book in the Library and used it to try and bring back Lyra (is Lyra still a canon thing? Apparently she's her own character but I'm not sure at all). But Necromancy is a really difficult thing to accomplish so although he PARTIALLY brought her back she's more like a mindless zombie.

-Sometimes he'll visit his mother's house in the dead of night and leave presents for her. It's just something he does subconsciously that nobody knows about. On occasion Connie wakes up while he's doing it, but she just assumes that she's seeing things.

Every year on her birthday he breaks into her new house and places an inconspicuous birthday present on the dining table. She'll wake up the next morning incredibly confused on how it got there. Toby wishes that he and his mom can really meet again one day.

-Him and Natalie's relationship is...turbulent, to say the least. They've gotten together and broken up so much that nobody knows when they're dating anymore. They're really close regardless and hang out a lot, but they just hook up sometimes randomly, go on one date and break up again.

-His dad currently resides in the Underworld and Toby's met him several times. Due to his father being a sinner, the lowest of the low, Toby often beats him and stabs him with his axe every time he sees him. It's all perfectly legal.

-He frequently forgets random information about himself. Like at times he'll wake up and forget it's his birthday that day, he'll forget his age, sometimes he'll even forget his own name. Like deadass Masky will call his name like a million times and he'll be like "Man I hope this Toby fella answers soon".

-His closest friends are Masky, Hoodie, Kate and Natalie. He doesn't actually like Jeff all that much as he sees him as a dick, and he's pretty neutral towards most other people in the mansion. He HATES Ben and finds him scary, he won't even make eye contact. He prefers Eyeless Jack over the two of them however as he's Jeff and Ben's close friend he doesn't talk to him much.

-He actually secretly dislikes most of the mansion residents. Although he's pretty nice to everyone since he believes in yk not being a major bitch he doesn't care about most of them.

-MASSIVE PYROMANIAC, since he can't feel pain he doesn't really feel a sense of danger such as when there's a fire or when there's an enemy nearby.

-Okay, without delving too deep into my AU, he's one of the only ones who knows what's up 'going on' behind the scenes with Slenderman and Zalgo. He's somewhat aware of it so when an 'incident' happens he'll mainly be apathetic to it. Often times when Slenderman 'disappears', he'll cover for him.

-His mouth and jaw are incredibly numb so he can't really taste food, sometimes food will slip out of his mouth and he just won't know.

-When it comes to Sally and Lazari, he actually really likes them but sometimes when he's in his more irritable moods he finds them incredibly annoying and has snapped at Lazari a lot of times.

-When it comes to 'Missions' (like Proxy stuff), he's the only one that ever actually obeys Slender's orders. He has to remind Masky and Hoodie of what they're meant to be doing so much it tires him so he just lets them do what they think they're meant to do and laugh when they screw it up.

-He finds it funny with other people make mistakes, like he'll die of laughter when Laughing Jack hits his nose against a door.

-He owns a can of Pepper Spray that he'll use against Ben, Nina or the other ratchet Pastas when they get too crazy.

-Sometimes he'll act like fanon Toby, but more as a means of sarcasm. When Masky and Hoodie first met him they thought he was being serious so chocked him up as some incompetent loser, but he quickly let them know that he meant business.

-His love language is giving people random stuff. Like not even expensive stuff but if he likes you he'll hand you something random that he thinks you'll like. Or he'll give you a fun fact about a topic he knows you're interested in. He has a bunch of random Edgar Allen Poe or Drawing facts for Slender and Natalie. Once he gave Masky a black Sharpie he found lying in the woods for some reason.

-He's such a terrible singer on GOD but the thing is is that he loves singing so much that nobody can bring it up to him that he's shit at it.

-He has a lot of vocal tics, like he'll hum a random melody or yell "GOO GOOBIE!" randomly. Everyone's used to it. He's actually terrible at hiding from his victims because of this. He also has a tic where he throws WHATEVER is in his hands at that current moment right up into the air. Sometimes it's funny but other times it's concerning, especially when he's holding his own axe.

-Doesn't like video games because he finds them annoying and stressful.

-Once he got so mad at everyone that he checked himself into a Psych Ward under the name "Erin Rogers" and stayed there for a good six months. Everyone was so worried about him for a half of year and genuinely thought he was dead or in serious danger until one day he just waltzed back into the Labrinth unharmed and was like "Hey guys guess you've been wondering where I've been".

-He doesn't perceive the idea of people worrying about him so he does a lot of concerning things and doesn't realise that people genuinely worry for his safety sometimes.

-He's got no filter, or just has a really lax one. He'll say basically anything that comes to mind out loud, even if it's offensive to the person he's currently talking to.

-The kid goes missing A LOT. Slender actually had to file a Missing Persons Report for him because he disappeared for 4 months without contacting anyone. He comes back fine every time but he never tells anyone where he goes.

-Adding on to this, I kinda headcanon that he has a strange form of Amnesia where for months on end he'll forget who he is, anything about himself or his past, or even who anybody is around him. This causes him to run away frequently.

-He subconsciously uses himself as a human shield every time one of his friends is in danger. He'll throw himself in front of Masky and Hoodie if they're about to be shot by an Underworld General or something.

-Thinks that blood is really tasty and often will lick his own blood. This dude is NOT sanitary.

-Takes like one shower a year because he just forgets that he has a human body that gets dirty. Which is weird considering he's outside in the dirt and in a puddle of blood like every other day.

-He doesn't have a concept of boundaries so often time's he'll grab someone suddenly if he wants their attention. Usually it's harmless and the new Pastas get used to it eventually, but sometimes it's problematic when he grabs Lazari's horns or LJ's cone nose without their consent.

-Because in my AU Slenderman's Forest is a Labrinth where people don't age, although he's maybe in his 20s now he's still the exact same as he was when he was 17. He doesn't have a concept of time so this doesn't phase him as much as it phases EJ.

SPEAKING OF EJ...

Eyeless Jack

-He's got demon ears, and a demon tail. Yes that's right EJ IS A FURRY!!! Just Kidding but he does have some characteristics of a demon.

-There's a slight different between a Half-Demon like Lazari and a transformed demon like EJ. For one EJ has WAY more demonic urges than Lazari does and whilst hers are manageable, EJs definitely aren't. If he wants to kill, he has to do it otherwise he'll harm everything in his way, including himself.

-He's tried to cannibalise himself out of frustration several times, and his arms are now just permanently in bandages. Toby hits him with the Pepper Spray everytime he sees him chewing on any body part at all.

-When he's not submitting to his Demonic Urges, he's a really chill and nice guy. He's way more sane than anybody else in the Mansion and thinks everyone's unique and likes to observe them. His dream was always to be a doctor to support his parents and help others, so often times he takes care of people when they're sick.

-His demon side isn't that scary since he won't harm anybody he's close to, only himself and random people he comes across. Of course, you'll be terrified when you first see him absolutely DEVOURING the dead corpse of some random girl, but he'll always tell you that he'll never hurt you, even when he's in his Demonic State.

-Although he's an incredibly nice guy, he suffers severely with trust issues, especially when it comes to Romantic Affairs. Upon realising that Sally and Lazari were shipping him with all sorts of people, he got incredibly angry and told them that it wasn't okay.

-He's uncomfortable with romance in general after what happened with Jenny and doesn't see anybody in the Mansion as a potential Romantic Partner, since he sees relationships as something that will always end terribly and he doesn't want to soil his friendships with anyone.

-He's very close to Jeff and Ben, often coming along on their strange adventures just to watch. He believes that they aren't as bad as Toby thinks they are, so he finds it fun to hang out with them.

-He and Jeff are jokingly (KEYWORD JOKINGLY) romantic towards each other after finding out that Lazari had written fanfiction about the two of them. Although he doesn't like being shipped, Jeff helped turn into more of a funny inside joke.

-Although he has an affinity for human organs in his Demonic State and still nonchalantly consumes Kidneys regularly, he doesn't actually like meat. He's not really Vegan or Vegetarian, but he'll choose a Salad over a Steak, if you get what I'm saying.

-He's a valuable asset to the house due to his medical knowledge, and because of this is quite close to Dr Smiley and Nurse Ann, and often helps assist them with more serious cases like Natalie's eye infection and Jeff's mouth...injuries.

-He's one of the few people in the Mansion that actually liked Nina when she came, since most hated her initially, EJ helped her settle in and get to know everybody. He helps her a lot, especially when it comes to drama with her and Jeff.

-He really likes rock music and can play Guitar really well. He's not a great singer but can play an Acoustic Arrangement for any song you request him to do.

-Him and Liu are very close friends and helps Liu with panic attacks and sleep paralysis.

-He has a strictly PLATONIC relationship with everyone in the Mansion and outright discourages dating between residents, and didn't really approve of Natalie and Toby's relationship. Because of this he has no problem touching people in any way or sleeping in the same bed as people.

-As I said earlier, he did disapprove of Natalie and Toby's former relationship and advised them to break things off early, but he didn't really want to outright sabotage them. However, his own former trust issues subconsciously make him sabotage any romance he sees. He even discourages people on having CRUSHES in the Mansion.

-His trust issues cause a lot of problems, actually. Although he has no problem touching people or getting in their personal boundaries, he'll be PISSED if anybody grabs him suddenly or tries to hold his hand or anything like that.

-He has a rivalry with Laughing Jack over who's the better Jack. So far they're both even. Eyeless Jack insists that one day he'll win and be the true Jack.

-Okay in all seriousness EJ has been through a lot of shit, especially when he turned into EJ. I remember when I was little I saw this Creepypasta named "EJ Returns" or something like that where he was tied up in some Demon Hunter's basement.

This has happened to him a lot of times. Sometimes when he suddenly turns back to normal after eating somebody he'll get caught and he's the least fortunate out of everyone in the sense that the people that he gets caught by are ALWAYS occultists.

-He often has nightmares about being in this situation and because of this HATES basements and never goes into the Mansions basement unless there's a rotting corpse in there that he wants to eat.

-He desperately misses his old life, more than most of the Pastas do. Since his family and old friends are still alive he makes it an unhealthy habit to stalk them and follow them around in real life.

-In my AU, Jack Nyras is still a missing person and his disappearance was so mysterious that his case is still talked about on True Crime Podcasts. It was a nasty shock when he turned on the radio one day to discover people creating conspiracy theories on what really happened to him.

-When he came to the Mansion, his reaction was similar to Pomni from TADC. He believed it wasn't real. He broke down and wouldn't leave his room for WEEKS, and it was actually Jeff who brought him out of his shell. Although most Pastas think Jeff is a stuck up asshole EJ does have a sort of appreciation for him.

-He's blind, and although has a walking stick knows his way around the Mansion well enough to not need a guide. His sense of smell and his hearing is incredibly good.

-There's a lot of Braille books in the Library, and the section for it is referred to as the "EJ Section".

-He really likes Harry Potter and watches the movies every year.

-Jeff actually found him right outside the Forest, desperately consuming the flesh of someone Jeff had killed a day prior.

-Jack's sexuality is unknown, but we do know that he is at least attracted to women. He's claimed to have found men hot before but we may never know if he was telling the truth.

-His tail only really comes out when he's in his Demonic State, and yanking on it will NOT get you a good reaction.

-He has a fascination with watching people sleep. Don't ask him why, because he wouldn't tell you the answer.

-Upon his knowledge of what's 'going on', he has an understanding due to Toby constantly covering for Slender and Zalgo's strange behaviour. Due to being uncontrollably violent at times himself, he's sympathetic to whatever's truly going on but doesn't want to get involved.

-He does jobs with the Proxies quite a lot to the point where he even gets a paycheck (The Proxies are not slaves in this AU).

-He's really good at video games and even buys Ben a new Majora's Mask cartridge every year on his birthday to celebrate. Ben sees EJ as one of his favourite people and because of this tells him a lot about what his life was like before Drowning, but EJ won't tell.

-He owns a possessed item. It's a stuffed rabbit named Judas whom he insists can talk, but only when there is nobody else nearby. Lucy read Judas' aura and concluded that whoever is possessing Judas is a malicious entity. Despite this, EJ hasn't gotten rid of him.

-He discovered Nina and Liu and were the ones to bring them to the mansion.

-Due to the Forest being a Labyrinth and preventing it’s residents from ageing, EJ is constantly having an existential crisis on how old he is. Is he 19? Is he 29? Is he 50? He has no idea and worries about it everyday

I don't know how to thank you. This feels like the end of an era. I can't believe it's been 4yrs since you started posting hiuh and I was instantly hooked. It literally got me through the pandemic. I learned so much from the story and felt I had Neo as a therapist(the best in the world). You must be flooded with asks now but I am really curious how the story formed in your head. It's hard to believe how consistent the story is as you posted chapter by chapter. Did you outline the whole story when you started? did you stick to all the original ideas? if you changed your mind what were they? It really is a master piece - much much better than many published books I read and I hope you will publish someday, if that's what you want.

I'd also offer you my first born to have an epilogue. hopefully lamen with their child(ren) playing on the beach and Nicaise being the doting big brother. they all grew so much and deserve all the happiness. oh and Kastor and Jo and Galen for big family gathering. I'm so proud of all of them.

hello!!!! i'm so happy that my story resonated with you and got you through some tough times. it did the same for me!

It's hard to believe how consistent the story is as you posted chapter by chapter.

thank you!! it will never be as good as it was in my head or as good as I know I could have made it if I had spent more time on it, but for me the most important thing is that it is completed and at least 70% of what I wanted it to be. a win is a win!!!

Did you outline the whole story when you started? did you stick to all the original ideas? if you changed your mind what were they?

i got the idea for a modern au break up fic in 2020 while I was writing and posting wtsioa. i started the story as a 20k one shot and then realized 5k into it or less that it was not going to fit into that word count. the reason was very simple: i did not want a break up fic centered around "miscommunication" in a naive, fluffy way. i did not want to write a fic where the main issue was that one loved the other too much or that they thought the other was cheating when it wasn't true, etc. i wanted to write a break up that felt honest to me, and this meant giving them both issues that felt real, that i saw in myself and in the people around me irl. which meant that it would take them both considerably more than 5k to get over them (if they ever did).

i outlined the fic very roughly. my first drafts . . . they are not it, girl. like, anyone that has read wtsioa knows that. I'm a much better editor than I am a writer, so for hiuh i outlined the main beats (nicaise calls damen after months, damen goes to therapy, nicaise is out of control and some incidents happen, laurent is dating maxime, they get back together). then, i wrote the entire thing in . . . a year? maybe less? then, i made a mistake and got cocky: i edited the first three chapters and started posting on ao3. that's why the fic took so long to post. i had to edit each chapter a lot after the first three were released.

i edited out too many things to count. things you wouldn't believe if I told you now because they make no sense when looking at the finished version. idalia was a pretty big character, and so was jokaste. in the og outline, I debated between claude/heavy drugs for nicaise. i almost named dog NIKANDROS!!!! damen actually punched aktis at the party when he talks shit about laurent . . . which led to him also punching nik. laurent slapping nicaise once. aimeric and damen baking together. then, there were things I wanted to write but couldn't because they didn't feel very real to me, despite being the best self indulgent daydream scenarios ever: damen hunting claude down (yeah, ruth wanted this to happen), dog getting sick, aimeric's EVERYTHING lol, nik and nicaise talking, etc.

A possible "SnSD" Chapter, or "What If", or an "Oops, I wrote a whole story", lol: Kieran, out of anger, breaks Juliana's heart again, after learning of her Elite 4 battles. Of course, soon after, the students learn that Blueberry Academy is having a Prom night.

The Prom was being held on the main battle stadium. Tables of food and punch were set up in front of a row of bleachers. Round tables and chairs were scattered about, and the actual battle court was now doubled as a dance floor. Blue, white, and decorations hung everywhere.

Since, the Champion match hasn't taken place yet, Kieran as the current Champion, shows up out of obligation. He is dressed in a deep Applin-red tux with poison-purple tie and matching cummerbund. Of course, he's incredibly handsome as ever, despite the scowl on his face.

Juliana is in her dorm, crying her eyes out. Then, she is visited by Kieran's mom, but also with Ribombee features, somehow. She calms Juliana, and like Cinderella's Fairy Godmother, she bestows Juliana with a gorgeous hairdo, flawless, light eye makeup, Pecha Berry lip gloss, and a SHINY Ribombee gown, and informs her to go to the Prom.. to go see her Kieran. Nervous, but in better spirits, Juliana does just that.

Kieran, in a corner, looking down, hears a commotion by the entrance, followed by a loud whistle of approval by Drayton. Curiosity causes Kieran to put aside his antisocial mood to look up towards the sound, and he could feel his heart stop and speed up all at the same time.

Kieran couldn't believe the beautiful creature, an angelic vision in pink and red, who was making her way towards him. A lovely smile adorned her pretty face, but he could also tell there was a sadness that Juliana was trying to hide behind it.

Forgetting his foul mood, Kieran was now rushing to meet Juliana in the middle. He didn't care that everyone was watching them as he took her small hands in his. With his eyes completely locked with hers, he could see the tears threatening spill from her compassionate and flawless, dark brown eyes, and Kieran, filled with guilt, knew he put those tears there. Why does he keep doing this to her??

Juliana spoke first. "You look so handsome." She swallowed back at a lump in her throat. "Look, Kieran, I'm sorry. I.."

"No. Please. You have nothing to be sorry for. I know you weren't competing out of spite or anything malicious."

Juliana's voice began to break. "I couldn't. I could never."

Kieran cupped Juliana's face in his hands. "I know, and I know Drayton pushed you into it, and that he was only doing it for the sake of the school's morale."

Juliana nodded, her watery eyes never leaving Kieran's.

"You are so beautiful, and I love you so much. I promise, no matter what, for better or worse, through victories and defeats, I will never, ever hurt you or break your heart again. I can't live without you."

"Kiki..."

Kieran brought Juliana's face closer and lightly kissed away whatever words were going to leave her lips next.

"I would rather lose every Pokémon battle for the rest of my life than to ever lose you again."

Emotion overwhelmed Juliana and she threw her arms around Kieran's neck, and kissed him back with urgency, like she was afraid to let him go, as if he would disappear if she loosened her grip, and she could feel him respond the same way.

When the kiss broke, Juliana lay her head on Kieran's strong chest, and he rested his chin on the top of her head.

As far as Kieran and Juliana were concerned, no one was else was at Blueberry's Prom except for the two of them, close in each other's arms, dancing forever into the night, long after the event had ended, to music only they could hear.

This is honestly beyond adorable in so many ways and I really think you should write this in your own storytelling/AU because of how detailed it is!!

yeah george called her live from the diner where you him and matty were having breakfast lol, literally right after he found out. you were like "i wish you were here i wanted to tell you in person and hear your first reaction", and she was like "honestly my first thought was eww i can't believe you let healy do that to you. but now i'm just very happy and excited to meet my niece or nephew lol. and you're gonna literally be mother! and he's going to actually literally be-", and you were like "😬 you're breaking up i'll call you back love you bye!" lmfaooooo. the boys were like 👁👄👁 what was that and you were like "just some girly inside jokes never mind ANYWAY i think i'm having a girl but matty thinks it's stupid to guess. so george what do you think i'm having" lmao; matty was like "smh you can't make him do this, sweetheart", and george at the same time was like "hmmm also a girl. just the vibe i'm picking up", and that started them on a debate about how one can tell these things, which was great because it made them forget about the fact that charli almost revealed you'd told her about the d word thing at reading lmao. but yeah, she's so happy for you - sends the cutest little gift for baba and some flowers for you, and makes sure to catch up with you when you get home so she "can meet my future goddaughter!" (george got to her lol. matty is aghast) <3

Any angst quogan headcanons? We never got full confirmation they never broke up throughout their journey. “We’ve been together for a decade” could still mean some bumps in the road. (I don’t want that just for the sake of headcanon the years we missed) I do wonder if they ever nearly split when they were young and dumb lol. Or what bigger fights would be about.

I refuse to believe they ever broke up... but I'll indulge, bc I also love angst lol. So, an AU where they broke up at some point on the last 15 years:

To make this more painful, this is settled after the first time he proposed to her.

I'd say it happened around their first year of college.

They definitely didn't go to the same colleges, so maybe they didn't get as much time together as they thought they would/couldn't coordinate their schedules to see each other as often

They were afraid of the potential strain and the possibility of growing apart, so they made the difficult decision to break up and remain friends, because they rather not be a couple but still be in each other's lives than end things badly and lose themselves (idiots, not even they believe they can ever be just friends)

of course, her rejection plus the break up makes it incredibly painful for Logan (not saying Quinn didn't suffer as well, but damn)

still, they let each other go as a romantic partner and embrace their friendship, wishing the other luck and promising to still keep in contact.

ugh, actually, I think this could be the perfect scenario to make Quogan be a bi4bi couple.

They both discover they're bi in the time they're apart.

won't go into much detail bc I kinda hate the idea of them being with anyone else, I'll leave if they got with anyone else or they were just flings up to y'all lol

despite this new revelation for them, they still missed each other.

they would still see each other and try to act like they're not dying to ask the other to just get together again.

they would also call each other every night out of habit and text constantly.

they would have to try very hard not to be flirty or let some of their pet names slip out.

they would fail most times and quickly correct themselves.

on one of their totally not a date, super platonic hang outs, they come out to each other.

it's a bittersweet moment, kinda, because they're both happy for the other, for not only not being judged but also having that in common (it was the 2010s after all) and the fact that there's still that trust between them to tell those things... but

despite the decision of breaking things up and stay as friends being mutual, the feeling are not gone for either of them, they're still there, lingering, hurting them.

they couldn't deny to themselves the strong connection they shared. They found themselves constantly thinking about each other, wondering if they had made the right choice. The distance only intensified their longing for one another, leaving them both with a sense of deep regret.

but they don't know the other feels the same way!! they think the other had moved one!! ahhhhhh!!!

after that they throw themselves into their college lives and also the new people in their lives, try to pretend they're totally okay being friends and even try dating, but it never works out, because no matter how hard they try, they can't shake the feeling that they should be together, that they belong together and that they regret breaking up.

every totally friendly, totally platonic, not a date only serves to stir up those feelings inside them and making the longing grow and grow.

they hook up.

it's intense and passionate, a mix of longing (they missed it, they missed each other so much), possessiveness (couldn't stop the jealousy to take over at the thought of anyone else touching their skin), and guilt (guilt at failing to keep the promise of remaining just friends)

there were some tears from both.

but they still try to act like it didn't happen bc they don't want to risk their "friendship" (I'm just hurting myself at this point and potentiallyruinwhatever they had)

they just really wanted the other to be happy and thought a relationship where they barely see each other would only hurt them.

it takes a few "accidental" hook ups before they finally face the fact that they can't be apart anymore, being friends was not working anymore.

they have a heart-to-heart conversation, where they admitted that they still loved each other deeply. They realized that the fear of the unknown shouldn't keep them apart, and that they were willing to take the risk to be together once again.

the time apart and the pain worked to give them a newfound determination. They rekindled their relationship and vowed to make it work, despite the challenges of distance and uncertainty.

they cherished the time they had together, making the most of every visit and finding solace in the knowledge that their love was worth fighting for.

there were ups and downs, of course, but as we can see in the movie, they really made it work.

It was a very hard period of their lives, but ultimately it was necessary, it proved they really were the one for the other, it showed them too how willing to let the other go and put their happiness over their own they were.

While I think there definitely were some big fights along the way (no couple is perfect), I don't think they're were any more break ups, I don't think they'd want to go through that again, not when they're surer than ever that they love each other so much, they just couldn't see a life without the other as their partners. Instead they just kept with that communication skill they're so famous for.

Their love got stronger than ever, and more with each passing year, no way they're ever letting the other go

Nooooooooo I worked on an answer for like an hour and then tumblr said BLOOP BYE ok

This one suprised me because he fully prepped me with the preshow and tour bus playlists and recs that I thought it would be so heavy on the greatest and ooms and silver tongues kinda sounds? And unfortunately I do like my noise and I do believe he's loves his noise and I do think he wants to move towards noise? So my response was more of a what happened lol maybe I misjudged it maybe he's still kinda careful and easing us into it (tbh I think this) and it's for lt3 or maybe this is just what he's more comfortable with (and a lil this). Not that I think he doesn't love this sound. Or that I don't love this sound. Just didn't anticipate this many softieboppies that's all. Expectations were high and he fking met them don't get me wrong I just didn't expect this ALSO yeah it's crazy he just did it all lol.

Sonically she feels timeless like she belongs in the 60s 70s 80s 90s- projected into the future- projected into AUs- she belongs wherever she goes i don't know how to explain it I don't have the knowledge but she's just a lil bit of every era and never too much she's just out there being the sidecharacter in all of them sorry she's not the main but she's there she's definitely there

T H E TITLE is everything like going for a track called Headline being someone who has been the subject of many shit headlines over the years is just very hot no matter the context or how its used as a metaphor, but then so casually "you used to read me like a headline" that can be taken many ways both positive and negative is just oof chefs kiss.

For the rest of the song lyrically I don't have much to say, there's not many plays on words I can break down over or not that I've noticed yet apart from the links with the rest of the album in the first verse which I'll get to in the end, and the concept isn't relatable to me either so yeah eh shrug on them oop.

He's mentioned he didn't write it, just tweaked it:

I like that this verse matches pieces of the rest of the album in terms of keywords: we got hearing you through the silence vs he can still hear the silence in Holding on to Heartache, then Beauty being another song, kindness just throw TPWK in there why not, then so fast to judge and quick, like quick to judge in Bigger Than Me, and then there are a bunch of forever and evers all over. It's like this first verse makes this song belong on this album. To me it actually feels like this is what he tweaked to make it fit on this album. And then that stops and just kinda bops on I guess 🙆🏻‍♀️

Ship Headcanons - Ada/Leon

Gives forehead/nose kisses: So I have a very specific answer for all of these. Forehead is def Leon giving them. He's much more affectionate than Ada but in private settings they're more half and half. In terms of forehead kisses specifically, I hc that he kisses her temple more, sometimes along her hair line and her cheek. Ada's the one that gives noses kisses, and other things for his nose too heh heh she also likes how adorable he looks when she boops his nose

Gets jealous the most: Leon, but it's not serious. Rarely does he actually take the time to get mad at her about something about her past or even in a present day setting. Ada doesn't get jealous as much as she gets insecure that she can't provide Leon what he wants or needs.

Picks the other up from the bar when they’re too drunk to drive: Leon's the drunk ass. Ada's picking him up. Ada is NOT getting drunk in a public space. here's ada dragging leon from a bar lol

Takes care of on sick days: Leon would take care of Ada much more despite her protests. BUT he would also know if she really wants to be left alone. Feel like Ada is the type to let it fester because she's not willing to seek help. me crying over when i wrote leon taking care of ada. Ada would do the minimum in terms of, checking in for a fever, MAYBE staying with him if he gets worse. But would most likely give him meds, water and leave him to sleep. If he's already sleeping she might watch over him quietly. But she's not gonna wait around all day.

Drags the other person out into the water on beach day: This depends. If perhaps Leon's in a bad mood, Ada would wanna drag him out into the water. Leon would probably entice Ada in other ways to join him in the water. here i have them at da the beach hehe

Gives unprompted massages: Ada. She's a bit more touchy feely in that way - than him. He MIGHT but he wouldn't be necessarily as good as her. I hc that Ada gives AMAZING massages, she can turn leon into a limp noodle (yes that way too)

Drives/rides shotgun: ADA'S DRIVING

Brings the other lunch at work: Ada might cause she would wanna tease him about it. in an au setting tho, Leon would be the one heading to her work and giving her lunches hehe

Has the better parental relationship: ... what does this mean. like their parents? they dead. i really can't say tbh cause we don't know either of their relationships with their parents. unless this means like, them being parents? half and half, it depends on what aspects of parenting since there's so many ways to parent

Tries to start role-playing in bed: Ada 100% Leon might but he's bad at it. he's cringe but she loves that

Embarrassingly drunk dancer: Leon is also a terrible dancer sober and has two left feet but doesn't mind that Ada is a splendid dancer. She'd help him along and finds it endearing that he's so focused on getting the moves/steps right she'd just want him to move along with her and to stop panicking. she wants him to just feel the moment rather than the act of trying to dance well

Still cries watching Titanic: Leon. He's a movie dude. Would've had Titanic in the two part VHS tapes. also when is like canonically the first time leon saw boobs LMAO

Firmly believes in couples costumes: ADA SDFBSKFk leon's not one to dress up anyways and would just go along with whatever ada had planned

Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas: Ada

Makes the other eat breakfast: LEON. he's a breakfast dude. Ada a habitual breakfast skipper and maybe coffee or tea drinker before she just starts her day. she might have a small brunch later but she only really starts eating breakfast more when Leon asks for it or he just makes it because he WANTS BREAKFAST. fic where i wrote leon crying over breakfast (i think it's chapter 6?)

Remembers anniversaries: Leon ;_; but Ada does also but she's more silent about it. She'd still wanna celebrate but only if he wants to. If there's some sort of anniversary or even his birthday she'll still drop off something for him if she can. wrote about his birthday here

Brings up having kids: LEON but only in a sad way. Maybe if he's being sad about missing out on it but also in a way where he's worried he wouldn't be able to provide a good life for them anyways so it's better off this way. ada i feel would NEVER bring up having kids unless she was actually PRENGNENT.

I love ex boyfriend bakugo so much you don't even know

actually i do know because i feel the SAME. my love for ex bakugo is unyielding. endless. forever. and i actually wrote a bunch for him a couple months ago when another anon brought it up but... got scared they'd hate what i had down so i....... put it on the shelf. i'll have to find it maybe... if ppl want.

ANYWAY... like. there is truly just no way to go wrong with him. there is just no universe where he isn't either a depressed, miserable, longing ex or an kind, gentle and regretful one (or some variation of). even when he's angry, it's mostly just at himself for being a douche who managed to lose you, and HOW CAN U NOT LOVE THAT??

it's so ironic bc he's such a prickly pear but... he just loves the hardest out of any + everyone. not that i don't imagine the others and just as caring... but for bakugo, it's almost a religious experience, you know? never a phase or an era or something he just does but a... idek. life commitment? goal? achievement? something to be maintained and treasured? all of the above. EVEN IF he's not that good at it (at first... which is debatable anyway), that's still how he feels.

so when u break up... that can't be the end of things. like really i can only imagine it happening circumstantially, cuz i genuinely think that any issues you bring up with him (aside from work maybe), he'd take BEYOND seriously.

too gruff and private? suddenly he's telling u every single emotion he has and asking if he's being too rough. too anal and uptight? suddenly the kitchen is a mess and he hasn't even noticed. hell, even too busy? he'll do his best to fit a whole evening with u in his schedule (he hates mornings more than anything but takes the ass crack of dawn shift just so u can have dinner together most night)... it's like !!!!!!! + reminds me of that post i made talking about how pro heroes are so hard to breakup with bc even when ur pointing out their flaws, they're so used to constructive criticism, they don't even notice ur being insulting LMFAO😭

that aside tho, i can never imagine a bakugo breakup!au without them... you both back together at some point. even if it's ten or fifteen years later like... he spent all that time trying to get better for u... even if he didn't think you'd really come back. (or, as i was trying to write, you breakup with him and he just... doesn't fucking believe u LMFAOOOOO and shoves his booty back into his rightful place sadjkfhakjdsf)

The reason I didn't post these sooner is bc I really wanted to draw the last one and hadn't gotten around to it as of yet, and I also wanted to colour these PROPER scrimblies because holy SHIT I LOVE COLOURING 🤩🤩🤩🤩

More fun facts about CS in TSCS:

Carol and Jacqueline have regular vent sessions. Mostly Carol; Jacqueline's just there for the TEA (and emotional support)

Her catchphrase could very much be "CAROL. DUMP HIS ASS" in this cs au

"Don't you mean tscs au?" NO. TSCS IS AN AU IN ITSELF AND I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL

She frustrates Santa to no end bc A) She's Jack Frost and he has previous biases, and B) she goes OUT OF HER WAY to bother him.

When I say Jacqueline dislikes tscs!Scott, I am not joking. It is not hyperbole. She can't STAND him. And she tells him that to his FACE. MULTIPLE TIMES. And adds insult to injury bc she's buds with Carol and Buddy and Sandy, lol, and all the new gen elves are like, chill with her

(I have a silly hc that Betty is a Bernelle kid and Jacquie's her godmother, lollllll)

She and I both dislike people who need change and refuse to work on themselves/believe they're FINE and it SHOWS.

After she made the claim about murdering Jack, Santa was TERRIFIED on top of his usual distaste for Jack's successor lmao

She was quite delighted at how Santa took that tale. Elaborated a bit. I imagine it went something like this:

"...you what?" Her murderous look intensified. Santa could easily picture the darkness gathering around her the way it did in cartoons when the evil character was. Well. Being evil. "You heard me!" She sounded way too delighted, Santa noted. "I killed my predecessor! You know, the guy before me? Yeah. Stabbed him right dead. Pulled the vest out of the melted pile of slush that was once Jack Frost the first and put it right on." "...Jesus Christ."

Anyway, after that, she goes home and Jack pops in for 4 o'clock coffee and the final image ensues, lol. This interaction follows that:

"And he believed you?" Jack asked, pulling out the chair next to her and plunking down, stretching out his legs and crossing them at the ankles. "Damn near shat himself about it, too," Jacqueline confirmed, looking sly over the top of her mug. Jack laughed. "Oh that's, that's marvellous." "Mm! It was! THEN I elaborated. Told him I took the vest like a war trophy, you know? Didn't even wash it or anything. Shame I said SLUSH instead of BLOOD because I bet he would've like. DIED on the spot picturing me putting on a blood soaked vest, ehehe. I swear Jack, I could see his soul leave his body. Definitely top 5 best days at work. Maybe top 3, even."

Jack is deffs enjoying retirement in this au! Going full vacation mode, spending most days in various hot spots on various beaches with various drinks, usually popping by the family home for 4 o'clock coffee and cocoa--and a break from the sun since he burns and Winter worries

YES he IS still wearing his suit pants. I thought that'd be funny and just about died picturing him in khakis

With every Jack I draw his hair grows more powerful, AS IT SHOULD BE!!

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

I've never checked this before so it was fun to see: 272,376

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Currently, my main fandom is The Rings of Power (Sauron x Galadriel) and my other fandom is The Umbrella Academy (Diego Hargreeves x Lila Pitts). I have also written one fic for The Wheel of Time (Lan Mandragoran x Nynaeve al'Meara)

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

dig up the bones (but leave the soul alone), Rings of Power, my canon(ish) Haladriel WIP that explores what would've happened if Galadriel had said yes to Sauron's proposal.

lend me some sugar (I am your neighbor), Rings of Power, a complete, Haladriel modern!AU where Galadriel and Halbrand are neighbors with thin walls, and one of them is a bit more, *ehem*, vocal than the other.

oh, can’t you hear that scratching? (there’s something at the door), Rings of Power, a complete, Haladriel mob!AU. Galadriel — a widow who is, quite literally, haunted by the ghosts of those she's lost — inadvertently catches the eye of Halbrand, a mob boss from the wrong side of town.

oh sinnerman (where you gonna run to?), The Umbrella Academy, a complete post-s2 story where Lila encounters each of the Hargreeve siblings as she searches for a reason to stop running away from Diego.

take what the water gave me (oh my love, don't forsake me), Rings of Power, a post-ep6 (but pre-ep7) Haladriel one-shot where Halbrand and Galadriel come together in the wake of Orodruin's explosion to comfort each other.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I don't unless there's a specific need to. At first, it was because I didn't want to skew the number of comments I received. But now it's simply because 1) it's one more stressor related to writing, and 2) I am desperately bad at responding to compliments.

6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I think most of the installments from my first series (which, honestly, should've been one full story) Two Worlds Collided (Umbrella Academy post-s1, pre-s2 Diego Hargreeves x Eudora Patch) because I kept breaking them up at the end of every installment. Also, probably be all my sins remembered, (Umbrella Academy, post-s2 one-shot, Diego Hargreeves x Lila Pitts) just given the story is about pregnancy loss.

Truly amazed that for a comedy show, I really have a pattern of putting Diego Hargreeves through it. Poor baby, as if he hasn't suffered enough!

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I'm not really sure how to measure "happiest," which may be something I need to bring up with my therapist lol. It's probably between lend me some sugar (I am your neighbor), given it's a rom-com structure with rom-com ending, and oh sinnerman (where you gonna run to?), as it ends with all the siblings on the journey towards healing together and Lila finally decides to stay.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I've received one anon hate message. it was unbearably fucking stupid.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I do, but I don't know how to qualify smut! Lately, very smutty-smut haha. I've also noticed recently I tend to have the MMC engage in some form of dirty talk during it.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I have not and I also don't read them. I have a hard time suspending my disbelief when two IPs collide.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I can't find the message about it now, but I was notified during my Umbrella Academy days that someone was lifting my dialogue for a TUA RPG site, which was wild to me.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I believe oh sinnerman (where you gonna run to?) was translated into Korean.

13. Have you ever cowritten a fic before?

I have not! Given the absolute unhinged nature of my creative process, I don't think that would go well for me (or anyone else!)

14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

God, honestly? Probably Captain Swan (Once Upon a Time, Killian Jones x Emma Swan). Just something about them having mirrored childhoods and traumas, how they're always coming back for each other when they think they've been abandoned, that they're each others homes!!! Also, god the fandom was churning out some of the most stellar fics when the show was on.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

dig up the bones (but leave the soul alone) is currently my only incomplete WIP and I am determined to finish it!! I am considering using NaNoWriMo to do so, but who knows.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I've gotten really good at world building, which I love. When I am writing a story, my mind always immediately jumps to the environment the characters are in -- not so much the physical setting, but a lot of the cultural elements: language and idioms, customs and food, holidays, and all the emotions these inspire. I think having a firm sense of the world helps me orient the characters, and I can find a lot of dimension in how they interact with these aspects of the world.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I am way too fucking wordy. Dear god, why use one word to describe something when I could use five (and a Shakespeare reference)!? I think I have a tendency to get so lost in the sauce I can trip myself up on plot points and the characterization can veer towards inconsistent. I'm also stuck in this belief of "I never finish anything!" which is patently untrue. But it's difficult to overcome when writing multi-chapter fics. I try not to psych myself out and remind myself to take it one chapter at a time.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

It's best used sparingly and with enough context to understand its meaning. I hate having to scroll to the bottom of a story to find out what's being said, especially when the dialogue is central to the story. It disrupts the flow.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

My very-very-very-FIRST fandom I wrote for in middle school was Avatar the Last Airbender (I have been a Mai x Zuko girl since...well not day 1, but definitely day 2. Don't come for me.) Back in those days, I primarily wrote for ATLA and Naruto.

20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?

oh, can’t you hear that scratching? (there’s something at the door) took me completely by surprise, to. be honest. It started with the idea of, "mob boss!Halbrand would be hot," and it spun totally out of control from there. I literally started writing it thinking it was going to a simple one-shot: "Grieving Gal goes to a club and has sex with Halbrand, and it is very hot." I don't remember why I made Galadriel a widow, only that I liked the idea of Halbrand sparking some life back into her. When I first sat down and put proverbial pen to paper, the ghosts weren't intended to be real, just a side-detail to illustrate Gal's grief. But the more I wrote, the more prominent Gal's grief became, and then, so did the ghosts.

What I am saying, is, I really surprised myself with this story and how it grew into something so big from an idea so small. When I re-read it today, the imagery and sense-feelings are still just as clear to me as when I wrote it. And I remain very proud.
