I think it’s so funny during the exchange on the balloon when sokka is like, “yeah being good at war seems to run in the family,” and zuko gets all defensive and goes, “hold on, not everyone is like that!” and at first sokka thinks he’s talking about himself, but then zuko reveals that he’s talking about his uncle. and sokka just has to sit there mentally calculating whether it would be a good idea to bring up the fact that historically, his uncle is great at war. if i had to attempt to transcribe his inner monologue in that moment it would just be “don’t bring up the dragon of the west don’t bring up the dragon of the west this guy is willingly sacrificing his life for your self-indulgent suicide mission you need him on your side don’t bring up the dragon of the west…” at which point he then looks back up at zuko and says thru gritted teeth, “haha yeah. no, cuz like, totally. for sure.”

speaking of. would cats like Blackclaw and Greenflower and other members TigerClan fandom be sent to Dark Forest? or have a trial? or would they somehow repent enough in life during Mistystar's regin (im pressing x to doubt that though)?

i want Stonefur, Primrosepaw and Pikepaw to personally roundhouse kick Blackclaw, but i can understand if they would want to stay away from him too (at least the kids. Stonefur should be the first to throw.. a stone.)

A lot of them are going to get recruited, even if they may have won a trial. Those who die in the WindClan Civil War willl get damned immediately; StarClan is FURIOUS that trecherous rebels in other Clans tried to take advantage of the political situation.

Mudclaw the Hypocrite, who accuses Onestar of being a puppet of outside influences, promised power to a RiverClan warrior in exchange for mercenaries to brutalize his own Clanmates. HELL! Hell for ALL of them!

Those that survive probably don't have enough time to make up for it. They would also have been supportive of TigerClan, so they're earmarked already. Even those who didn't throw their weight behind the Civil War have quite the tally of sins to manage.

(And... at least one of them, I'm unsure of who, were involved in the "disappearences" of Primrosepaw and Pikepaw. Whoever they are, StarClan will not hold a trial nor send a fetcher. They can find their own way to the Dark Forest, without even a Sharing of Stars to fix their mortal wounds.)

Also for the record let me just clarify something; StarClan judges based on if you are "worthy" of joining them. They do rule in neutral-favor for an unremarkable warrior, but if your life is enough of a question to trigger a Trial at all, you are guilty until proven innocent.

More specifically, "unworthy" until proven worthy. StarClan Trials are not held with "fairness" as a value.

For further context some other Star Wars characters' ages (canon for most, Legends for Aayla and Quinlan because they don't have a canon birth year)

Ok, so get this: she was younger than Padmé, Aayla and maybe even Anakin originally, but they aged her up 7-11 years to get her with Quinlan and Obi-Wan. Oh. While this was most likely not an intentional decision it still really disappoints me because imo she works so much better in the younger age group

Btw, this means that in Legends by the start of the Clone Wars she was 17-21, what the fuck. And by the end of it she would be 20-24. Incredibly fucked up I think

I just realized that so many Athena kids were in Cabin 6 because claiming them was a strategic move on Athena’s part. What do you do when a bunch of highly capable, clever strategists feel wronged? They will organize and rise up against you. To claim the Athena kids, and claim them early, didn’t allow resentment to reach a boiling point. If fact, it probably strengthened their connection and loyalty to their mom, making it more likely for them to remain on her side in case things ever went south.

Anyone who had doubts about Lars Mikkelsen as Thrawn has never actually looked into this man's work. My man plays in crime dramas for a living, specifically Danish ones. If y'all have never experienced those, then I guess I can see where y'all's doubt can come from. But as someone who has (through osmosis, I suppose), I knew this man was perfect for the cold, calculated horror that is Thrawn. Crime dramas are the bread and butter of us Nordics. This may have been done already, but I don't care. This meme parody has been living rent free in my head ever since I saw Rebels, and I was re-introduced to Grand Admiral Thrawn. He loves Art. Like. A lot. I think he and I would get along well if I weren't on the side of the Rebels. XD Why YES. I DID learn how to draw Thrawn JUST for this meme. Why do you ask? haha.

Thrawn's face... yet another alien with a bizarre facial structure. How-to-Draw Thrawn Notes: His cheekbones point to his mouth. His hairline is equi-distant with his cheek outline. He has a TINY mouth with very thin lips. His face is stone cold, calculating. Because of that, even the most minute change in expression = massive notation to his mood. His eyes droop on the lower lid, very round, however the top lids are very angular. This is emphasized by his reddish eyeliner. His very small chin is made masculine with the added musculature around his mouth. His jaw is pretty standard near the ears. Straight as a rail posture. A proper soldier, even though he's a high rank now. This posture demands/commands respect.

I hate to admit it, but while drawing him, he has that gross, slicked back hair style of a lawyer. Eww nooooo. I mean, sure, Kallus has it too, but eh. I never liked it. It just screams greasy lawyer. I KNOW, I know! Thrawn is anything but that, he's by far the most attractive officer in the entire Empire, at least to me, and he completely deserves his rank due to his intellect and cunning. There's a reason he's a lot of people's favorite villain. :D
