Dont imagine reaps?
Don't imagine him popping in and out of your life at the strangest intervals, it's never at the same time and it drives you batty, he drops stupid puns everytime.
Don't imagine walking with him on a forest path, sunlight filtering through the trees. He's answering whatever questions you have, dodging some questions artfully - others not so much but he won't acknowledge it.
Don't imagine coming across a wounded Gyftrot, clearly the doing of a human. Don't imagine his eyelights blowing out; he comes to a stand still beside you. Reaper asks you to stay here and approaches the monster. You can see his mouth move as he sits beside it, but you can't make out the words. He raises his hand, to place it on the Gyftrot's forehead, it stills and the briefest chill blows past you, raising goosebumps along your skin; dust swirled in the wind.
Don't imagine that he returns, eye lights still missing and he strides back towards the path blindly hands clenched in rage. Don't imagine going after him and grabbing his shoulder, asking him to slow down.
Don't imagine his head snapping in your direction, a blaze of blue flashes in his left eyesocket, but it's dashed away when he realizes it's you. He comes to a stop and he lowers his head.
'...A human did this.' His voice sounds ragged around the edges, his hands are still in fists. 'It don't matter how many times it happens...I'll never get used to it. Dunno how anyone could.'
Don't imagine wrapping your arms around the smaller skeleton, putting your chin on his hood, keeping sure that you didn't come into contact with his bones. Don't imagine that he relaxes, a sigh leaving him.
Don't imagine that you can't reassure him, humans are gonna human. It will happen again.
But.
Don't imagine that he shushes you before you can start to speak.
'Don't. Let me just stand like this, more than enough.'
Don't imagine that 5 minutes later, his shoulders begin to shake.
