What's your evidence that Joost Klein harassed Eden at ESC? I've only seen evidence of Joost being harassed by Israeli delegation. And he was an assholeish idiot at the press conference but he wasn't the worst. And can people pleaaase stop spreading the smear campaign the EBU put out about him. He made a rude gesture, that's it.

I'm gonna admit that if you saw the Dutch performer's behavior at the press conference, IDK how that doesn't constitute harassment? I mean, the part where he didn't like that the ESC organizers made him sit next to the Israeli singer, and he didn't want to be in the same frame with her, so he covered himself with the Dutch flag wasn't just being an asshole, he was publicly humiliating her, transmitting to everyone what a pariah she is, not based on anything she's said and done, but simply based on her nationality (and this little stunt was obviously going to attract attention, meaning he minded being photographed next to her, but he didn't mind being photographed covered up with the flag like that in the same frame with her, making it clear this wasn't him wanting to avoid political stuff).

In my book, that's bad enough, but then he added insult to injury. Eden was asked a disgusting question by a Polish journalist. He wanted to know whether she considered that she would be putting everyone else at ESC at risk (victim blaming much? Eden was the target of a violent mob besieging her hotel room, and turning her participation into an event requiring security. She didn't ask them to do this, she didn't force them to, she's a 20 year old girl, who has dreamt of representing her country at ESC for years, and when she finally gets to, she's being asked to carry the blame for the violence aimed at her due to her nationality... Imagine asking Ariana Grande after her Manchester Arena performance if she took into account that she was risking the lives of all of her fans, because an Islamist decided to use her event for a terrorist bombing that killed 22 young people, and would she never perform again, now that she was aware of the risk? No, that didn't happen, because it's a disgusting, victim blaming, terrorism-rewarding question). The panel host rightfully grasped that this was a political and harassing question, and told her she didn't have to answer it. Joost Klein then shouting at that, "Why not?" was harassment. He was piling up on the victim blaming, on top of showing zero empathy for a fellow performer targeted for her nationality, in a way he never would have agreed to be himself.

(I think that's last assessment is obvious since we now know he thought, even for a split second, that it was okay to threaten with fists a female camerawoman working for ESC, doing her job, filming the performers when they got off stage after their performances. This was done to the other performers as well, IDK what made Klein think his consent was needed in that moment, since to me it seems implied by agree to represent the Netherlands at ESC, but even if he had the right to refused being filmed, I have no idea what made him believe it was okay to use violent threats against an ESC employee).

I'd like to ask you where did you see "evidence" that Klein was harassed by the Israeli delegation? As far as I'm aware, there was only one vid trying to make that claim, and what was seen in that one, was an Israeli journalist (so, not a part of the performing team), working as a European correspondent (he also covered the war in Ukraine, to give you an idea of what that job entails, so he's a "respectable" journalist, not just a guy with a mic interviewing people for his ESC blog), called Dov Gil-Har (as far as I know, he's aligned with the left politically, so not exactly someone likely to be harassing people out of nationalistic sentiments), who was trying to ask Klein questions. Which... the last time I checked is his duty as a journalist. And Klein refused to answer Gil-Har's questions, which is his prerogative (though I do think it was pretty disgusting when some performers, like the Norwegian ones, refused to give interviews to any Israeli media outlets. Since it's based on nationality, it's once again hateful IMO), but then the Dutch team's manager (or whatever he was) really got in Gil-Har's face, and more than that, because I clearly heard Dov saying, "Don't touch me." Keep in mind, this was after Klein's shameful behavior at the press conference, and also after he missed a rehearsal that day, there were rumors circling around it somehow had something to do with Israel, so it is honestly the most natural thing for Gil-Har as a journalist, that he wanted to ask the Dutch team some questions. That should not have ended with him having to say, "Don't touch me," but to further misconstrue this as him harassing the Dutch team...!? WHAT?

It feels like another instance of DARVO, where the attacker/harasser/abuser shifts the fire away by reversing who was doing the harassment and who was being harassed. Everything we saw on camera was harassment of the Israelis, including even the media, while I've not seen one documentation on film of the Israelis harassing others. Plus, I heard the claim that the Israeli team was harassing everyone, yet we know that some performers didn't feel, act or express themselves that way.

81. 22/03/2024, very short but look!! A Jing Yanqiao clip!!! I'm happy, I recently brainrotted on him. I wish he could perform more since I really like his voice but unfortunately I'm pretty sure he's still in school and have a limited schedule. But I will make you all love him before his BDay!

however the speculations of y/n dating mingyu did not die down as y/n's fancam of galactix performing call call call! in Japan is spreading like wild fires on the internet saying that she made a legendary fancam just like mingyu's summer sonic fancam making the fans shipping both them calling them the legendary fancam couple and whats making it more convincing is y/n is taking mingyu's part.

few days after the rumours are still circling around all of you are hanging out in the studio, you noticed that dino was not being his usual self and participating less in the conversations as if he was it deep thoughts.you assumed that he might get bothered because of the rumour as he quite insecure with himself by not being enough lately and he didn't really wanna show that he is lowkey jealous as he might get teased by his hyungs which is a hassle for him and might add to his stress.

The idea of both you got shipped together got dino on cloud nine and you have nothing against it as you are equally happy as he is seing that fans shipped you both meaning they technically approved your relationships.

Both of your groups were shocked when the article was released because all of you were pretty sure there is nothing suspicious and odd happens in both of the danceology video and also the inside seventeen video that would giveaway your relationship. But soon the it was leaked that your necklace with a ring as a pendant was seen in the video and the ring was the same as dino's ring that always wear on his middle finger.

Fans started to realized that your photos on twitter and instagram with dino's were almost identical but were posted in different time

Both fandoms are in ecstasy as both of the groups main dancer are dating and what makes it more exciting they have their own dance collab which is basically the danceology video. Fans were so convinced and starting bombarding both of you and dino's instagram comment section of congratulating both of you without even waiting for a statement from both of your agency.

You and Dino were actually in shocked cause both of you didn't even plan to reveal your relationship as both of think it is too early and you want to keep it lowkey. Of course both of you got some earful lecture of being careless but both party are in a win win situation your relationship is being loved by the fans and the agency received lots of offer for both of you to be models and ambassadors of brands.

SEATTLE KRAKEN PLAYER PRIMER

I promised the beautiful @madroxed a Seattle Kraken current player primer so she can get into a West Coast (best coast) NHL team and then I went mad so it ended up too long for ask box without a read more. So here it is for your enjoyment, babe. 🦑

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:

1. When Kraken started playing their first season in 2021, there was a lot of discussion about the expansion plan, how many years they would take to become as successful as other expansion teams (cough VGK). That plan… has not fully panned out. So even though they made it to the playoffs last year, they're not super successful this season and likely won't squeeze their way into a wild card spot. This is okay because the Kraken are full of love.

2. This is important enough to say twice: THE KRAKEN PLAYERS ARE FULL OF LOVE. They don't need to be good if they're having fun and being friends! And they are!

3. Kraken has no captain right now, just four As. Democracy, baby! Every game there is tons of talk on reddit about how it's a good thing because it's made the guys closer, or how it's a bad thing because they don't have a leader and they keep losing. IDK, it's just our thing. There will be a C eventually.

4. There's a joke on tiktok that Kraken is a team of beautiful shy horses, treated badly on their last teams and now learning to love again. Keep this in mind when you see them interacting with Coach Hakstol. They all deserve to have their hooves (skates) farrier-ed gently, ribbons braided into their manes and to be tenderly fed sugar cubes. Anyways.

5. Haha, Seattle runs on love and tentacles.

THE OLDIES:

- Jordan Eberle (Jordy, Ebby, Ebs, Ebber) - Ebs was MY MAN for the longest time because I was soooo fond of him and the mid aughts pre-McDavid Oiler rookie crew. Now he's 33 years old, everyone calls him dad, and just had his 1000th game ceremony. It makes me verklempt.

He just signed a 2-yr contract this month, which people agree is mostly because of his role on the team and less because of his points (which are just okay).

He is also a noted Nickleback fan :(

Also, Jordan Eberle... naked... singing.

- Jared McCann (Canner, also Jordan's on-ice wife) - Kraken's lead scorer right now. Has the saddest backstory ever (he's had troubles with his teams since draft) but the Kraken team loves him. I love him too. Jordan was in his wedding party! Fun fact: Canner is the one who KISSED Ebs' head after an OT win this year, the organization framed & posted the picture, and it's the most romantic thing that has ever happened on Kraken ice. Recognized PC gamer boy. He also wears really really ugly hats with his game day suits.

- Philipp Grubauer (Grubi, The German Gentleman) - Gruuuuu. The more experienced goalie on the team. Noted horse girl (loves horses, there's a video all about his volunteer efforts with them). Gets a lot of undeserved shit from dude fans for being a conservative goalie, the man is NOT gonna move. He straight up close lined a player yesterday because they got too close to his crease lol.

- Vince Dunn - You already know this guy. Feral, but also submissive and breedable. I sent you the "screaming with a bloody face" vid but here's one where he drop gloves for a Matty hit and another from Juniors where he fights OFF ICE. His nickname is Dunner but because he's a pretty princess, he also goes by "Vincess" in hrpf. He's very popular this season both for his looks and his performance this season. Unfortunately injured right now due to a bad hit. Noted "gamer (fornite) boy" lol.

- Adam Larsson - You also know this guy. Big Cat. Quiet but a leader to the D rookies. Surprisingly funny - he's a silent prankster and the custom t-shirts this season with his face on it were a hit. Outside the hrpf space, he's engaged to a beautiful blonde Swede and about to be a dad this month.

- Jaden Schwartz (Schwartzy) - Peak millennial. Is it wrong that I think Schwartzy is the hottest Kraken after Vince? Because I don't care. He gives hot dad, with two dogs with girl names.

He changed his hockey number to match his sister's who died of cancer :'( Has been injured a lot this season and we miss him :'(

- Yanni Gourde (Gourdo) - FERAL!! FRENCH (CANADIAN)!!!! A tiktok star, sassy, charming, and also part of the team leadership.

Married and dad to little girls, who he has allowed Matty to babysit, if you can believe it. There was a super cute vid of them at the pumpkin patch this year. I'm a proud member of the GOURDO IS HOT club but even people with bad eyes and no love for goofy faces love Yanni.

- Andre Burakovsky (Burky) - You might remember him from his Cap or Av days. He's a beautiful little bird who is so good at scoring but so broken. The man has two Stanley Cups but he's played like 2 games for Kraken where he was both healthy & productive lol. People ship him with Gru sometimes in hrpf because they have cute nicknames for each other and also vacation together. He also just had a baby like two months ago so my sisters and I call him a teen mom even though he's like 29, lmaoo.

- Pierre-Edouard Bellemare (Belly) - His shirt is always off in every video I have ever seen him in. Handsome. Beard. French, like literally from France, but we won't hold it against him. He's an older guy who was brought in to help the team with offense (which we badly need).

- Oliver Bjorkstrand (Bjorky) - I always describe Bjorky as like a less handsome Dylan O'Brien if he played hockey. A chill, smiley dude who cares a lot. He played in Portland for the Winterhawks back in Juniors and I saw him a lot there! He's playing super well this year, he even was at the ASG!

THE YOUNG ONES:

- Matty Beniers (Matty, Benny) - OUR BEAUTIFUL FIRST DRAFT EVER. A baby boy. Ebs and Canner are his mom and dad. If you're on tiktok, he made that viral "Yes, Yes, Nope, Nope" sound while mic'd up.

He's growing up :') but also is having kind of a bad season :'( Part of the planned growth of the Kraken team though!

- Will Borgen (Borgy) - One of the baby D. He kinda looks like Canner but more frog. Matty and Borgy are roommates & pretty much BEST FRIENDS during the season. There's a lot of good locker room videos of them giving each other shit. He has also bullied Karts lol. Self describes himself as a little deer.

- Joey Daccord (Joey, Dacs) - Baby goalie. Gives the F1 recaps on tiktok. One of the biggest joys of my year so far was chanting "Joey" in the crowd after his shutout in the Winter Classic. Sometimes he strays too far from the net and makes boo boos. We love & cherish him.

- Kailer Yamamoto (Yamo, Yams, Yammer) - Little man. So little. Great at shootouts & stealing teammate's jerseys. He's the only Washingtonian on the team. Was a Oilers rookie and I've heard he featured in the whole Draisital hrpf narrative thing (idk I'm not an Oilers fan rn lol). Has a terrible goatee right now.

There's a funny af tweet about a reporter seeing a huge cheering section for him at a game and assumed it was friends & family but went over and it was just random people rooting for Yamo purely because he's short.

- Ryker Evans - The newest baby D. Has the deadest eyes you will ever see but he also spent an entire Firebirds youtube interview series just hanging out in a child's pool. He's played great since being called up from the Firebirds and we love him. So new he doesn't have a Breaking the Ice sheet yet :( Also his middle name is GARTH!

- Tye Kartye (Karts) - It's important that you know his last name is pronounced like "Cart-che" but even the announcers say "Car-ti-eh" like the jewelry brand. A quiet-ish sweetheart but also kind of spicy while playing. Rooms with Ryker. They're flirty and have been since the Firebirds. Scored his first NHL goal in his first NHL game, during the Kraken's first ever playoffs!

- Cale (& Haydn) Fleury - REAL LIFE BROTHERS. Not actually related to Flower. Haydn is on the Lightning now and we miss him. Cale mostly plays for the Firebirds but he's developing well and has gotten called up several times this season.

- Ryan Winterton (Wints) - A goofy little baby. He's still playing mostly with the Firebirds but he had his NHL debut this season.

- Shane Wright - I don't actually know his nickname. (EDIT: I have been informed it is Shaner or Wrighter!) Big boy. Our SECOND DRAFT EVER. Playing with the minor leagues right now. We'll see him playing a line on Kraken next season or so, probably (?). If Coach Dave is willing.

THE OTHERS (THAT I OFTEN FORGET ABOUT):

- Brandon Tanev - Turbo. He's fast. Has beautiful long hair. Keeps getting hit by pucks because he's in the way. Fun fact: he helped start the 'Kraken are horses' thing because there was a video on Tiktok where an equipment manager was adjusting his skates and they used a hoof care video sound and it went viral. We might lose him when he's a free agent and that's fine.

- Jamie Oleksiak - Big Rig, Riggy. In my shit list right now because he's playing bad and I hate his stupid credit card commercial that they always play during games. Member of the 'my sister is prettier and a better athlete than me' club. People speculate there's a chance we might lose him over the summer when his no-trade clause opens up as well. He's often Borgy's d-partner, and he and Borgy are very very sweet though.

- Tomas Tatar - Tuna, he's fun and nice. I like his accent. Sometimes I forget he exists.

- Eeli Tolvanen - Tolvy. I also sometimes forget about him. Sorry. He's a buddy to everyone on the team though.

- Justin Shultz - Shultzy, he's fine. Gets injured a lot. Not the best player. I think we're gonna lose him eventually too.

- Brian Dumoulin - Dumo, he's also fine. He's won a couple Stanley Cups. Cute baby face for an older player but he gives a kinda empty brain, 'there's not a thought behind those eyes' feeling lol.

HOPE THIS HELPS. I ALSO HOPE THEY DON'T CRUSH THIS PRIMER OVER THE OFF SEASON WITH TRADES LOL but who knows. Whatever happens, happens. Just remember this team runs on love (and tentacles).

Courtney is the main vocalist & occasionally plays the guitar, Duncan is the lead guitarist, Gwen on drums & idk who else could be involved bcuz this is just an idea I’ve been throwing around in my head

-Duncney were together before the band was formed and stayed together till they reached stardom BUT they eventually break up due to many reasons (omg) and they decide to stay “cordial” for the band(which took a lot of convincing from the other members)

-Duncan wanted to live the “true rockstar lifestyle” and in his mind he couldn’t do that in a relationship because he’s dumb

-Courtney of course lets the fame get to her and becomes a bit controlling of the band

-Courtney writing diss songs about Duncan while he just has to stfu and perform them with her(tensions rise)

-all the members partake in substance abuse because well, it’s a rock band au and it adds to the drama lmao so Duncan livin’ like a rock star, Courtney does it to deal with the stress but will deny it profusely, and the other members need it just to deal with both of them and their drama

-so Duncan’s an asshole and the substances don’t help but just imagine.. Courtney in the green room fighting GROUPIES out of jealousy, oh the press has a field day because of “inside sources” leaking pics and vids 👀

-Of course any time there’s negative media about Courtney, Duncan goes wild on twitter(unless he’s mad at her) and his PR Team has to take his phone away.. he very much fights his own fans lol

-ofc there’s Gw*ncan shippers because drama & that adds even more tension between the members, Courtney’s insecure & gwen’s like “man I just wanna play the drums STOP”

WHY DOES HE SAY IT LIKE THAT. perversely, though, i think that adds to the draw of the song for me bc it's so absurd. nicki adds a lot though, esp bc "eat a barbie ass or smth" is so much better than "suck a n**** dick or smth" (weakest line in the song by FAR).

again, this is me being so open and honest and vulnerable with u all. i don't even generally like broadway very much but sweeney todd is my comfort movie (problematic i know) and i have been obsessed with these cast recordings since they started coming out. i love these songs sm and the vocal performances are truly beyond.

JANUARY top: jayhoon — jay dolling sunghoon up

fav: silver hoon — the colours just turned out satisfying plus it was easy to colour :’)

FEBRUARY & MARCH — no posts bc i was in uni (idek what the point was bc i dropped out anyway)

APRIL top: jayhoon — being hot & had everyone down bad in the tags

fav: bc era jay in this shirt — bc it was the only good gif i made in my experimental phase

MAY & JUNE — may: only posted a huening kai gif in may & had uni exams,

JULY & AUGUST — jul: dropped out haha :’) only posted one gif that got like 23 likes and it’s rly bad

SEPTEMBER top: enha on odg — sunghoon was the star of this gif set bc everyone was talking abt him in the tags

fav: future perfect sunghoon — performance gifs are hard to make and each one has different lighting where you have to make it match for a good set.

OCTOBER top: jake — pretty in his black hair shortly after he dyed it back

fav: enha on rolling stone — was satisfying to gif bc quality of vid was good and filter they used was nice and dreamy, an example of excellent lighting for giffing

NOVEMBER top: sunghoon — for their first world tour manifesto

fav: sunghoon — eating these noodles idk the texture of this set is just satisfying and he’s cute when eating

DECEMBER top: jay — i feel like the quality could’ve come out better

Do you have opinions on the current run of Rebecca and changes to Maxim since the original production?

Ahahaha, thanks for asking!!

I saw Rebecca live for the first time in February in Vienna (it was also the first time I ever went to Vienna, and the famous Raimundtheater, and oh also I met Aris Sas sjögkslfpskdld), and I've tentatively been planning a new video titled something like "Rebecca review and retrospective" where I'd compare the book (which I've now read) to the famous 1939 film which I think has had a lot of influence on all further adaptations, and then look at what happened with the musical (it was thematically a bit wonky from the start - or rather, did away with the main themes of the book and replaced them with "a love that set me free" - but it got worse after they added stuff like Zauberhaft Natürlich lol).

I haven't watched a lot of different productions yet, so I should definitely do that if I plan to do a vid. (I love the original cast album, Uwe's Maxim is so interesting and pathetic - some people describe him and Wietske!Ich as two weirdos who fit together and I agree, they're amazing. Haven't seen videos of the original run yet but I plan to. And before seeing it live I'd only watched clips of the Stuttgart production, mostly Ich-related because she's my favourite character).

But idk, in general I think Maxim in the current production is extremely bland 🤣 Granted, I've heard that the understudies are better, but omg... Mark just doesn't seem to remember to act at all, he's just Some Guy. I only really liked him in one single line of hilf mir durch die nacht & then some of kein lächeln. But it really pales in comparison to previous portrayals. Idk if he's just tired of being trapped in the VBW machine or what ajflksöff. His voice is really nice but his performance as Maxim is generally so bland and generic... and it's so sad to see when the rest of the main cast and even actors portraying more minor characters are so good. Like, James Park as Frank Crawley has a lot more nuance than Markxim and he only has one solo song to himself!!!

But to return to the original topic - I don't think I can answer this yet, because I haven't watched all of Uwe or Jan Ammann (who I think are considered among the most influential Maxims - I'll have to do some research to find out which other prods are considered impactful), but I'd love to do a video about it! :D

ahhhhh the lord huron concert was amazing from start to finish!! the whole show was vibrant, energetic, and also very emotional, full of longing. ben is one of those artists that sounds exactly like his recording, and even better, live. the instrumentation was particularly exceptional!!! i will never listen to ancient names (part i) the same way again, i will always want the sitar like i heard it live!!!

i think my favorite performance was wait by the river — earlier in the set, ben had joked about the previous night’s performance and how the band was pleasantly surprised that it was not raining like it had the night before. but then they strike up wait by the river, and the rain comes pouring down as he sings “I will cry out to heaven / As it rains down on me / I will beg for forgiveness / Get down on my knees / If I can't change the weather / I can change your mind / If we can't be together / What's the point of life” HOLY FUCK it was a perfect moment. i have a video of it but it just doesn’t capture it the same way.

at one point, ben left the stage in the dark as the band vamped, and he came back in a skull mask for a rollicking performance of back from the dead.

the staging was gorgeous, there were these awesome desert rock/dead tree/tombstone set pieces, and the rocks had illuminated strips across the top that changed throughout each song. there was a literal emerald in the sky!!!!

misty boyce (pianist/keyboardist) sang “i lord” with ben and it was TRANSCENDANT, her vocals were stunning and they paired so well together!!

gahhhhh i could keep talking but this is going long, i have a few v i d e o s, idk if that’s strictly kosher 😅 but let me know if you want to see any!!

OHH MY GOD HIIII ive never seen lord huron live but ive been meaning to for ages so hearing that ben's just as good if not better live than on the recordings is so<33 buying a ticket the next time they swing through chicago<3
