51. 28/02/2024, Happy BDay Guo Hongxu! I don't usually upload promovid but uhh he's so cool in this one so, here. Sidenote, Shu Rongbo is very hyper and cute this performance. And Qian Anqi's cute english plss i love her.
52. 03/03/2024 night, Happy BDay Zuo Yiping! Watch also, Cao Muzhi penguin walk across the table, Wu Yihan please watch your steps and don't poke other people's cake!!
(funny coincidence, I happen to watch a Santa Lucia/Mio Fratello clip of Cao Muzhi-Wu Yihan just a couple days before this)
53. 10/03/2024 night, Happy Bday Shu Rongbo and Wu Yihan!! Hehe the way Qian Anqi knocks their heads together and insisted to sing them happy birthday is so cute. Wu Yihan said 'Happy Birthday' before their customary Guiding Light hug. And pls someone translate (or at least transcribed) the closing speech for me, there's a lot of laughing involved, I'm curious. Also, have this bonus stage door clip.
Some funfacts. Since last year they play in the same 4 musicals including Link Click and out of those 4 plays they shared 2 roles. Shu Rongbo played a total of 9 roles while Wu Yihan played 7. (Yes, I am at that level of hyperfixation)
54. 11/03/2024, HBD Teng Chunpeng! LMAO It's you, so of course your promo video would be great! His face during the sofa choreo though. And why are both him and Du Guangyi stomping and jumping on the table so hard. You menaces, please you're gonna break it. The couch trio is also looking cute behind them.

55. 11/03/2024 Valentine's day special, <- Official ver. Forgive my language TENG CHUNPENG DU GUANGYI YOU FCKING TEASE! YOU GEM OF A HUMAN BEING! Have this fancam with the superior angle.
(This makes Du Guangyi the first and only actor who have played all 3 roles in that scene. Congrats!)
56. Special Encore rehearsals/BTS! Special mentions to Teng Chunpeng's fashion sense, Wu Yihan's cute act, Ding Xingchen's falling wig, Zhang Jiahao's IDGAF mood, and Wang Minhui's violent tendencies.
57. 26/02/2024, when I say Cai Qi and Wang Minhui have the best dynamic, this is what I meant.
58. 29/02/2024, watch Ji Xiaokun and Guo Hongxu's "Oi!" "Oi."
59. 01/03/2024, Look at them stumbling through singing "Guiding Light" and it's a Wu Yihan-Shu Rongbo duo which means hug! Also Wu Yihan, why are you a menace at holding hands, this time with Zou Ziyue.
60. 03/03/2024 day, why is there a piglet??? Why are you seasoning the piglet??? Why are you stepping on the piglet?? Why is the piglet bowing?? piglet??
61. 04/03/2024, Bai Zhuoming being extra sassy and playful on the couch makes me so happy. Of course Cai Lu also becomes playful in response. Typical Guiding Light mistake also causes Wang Minhui to crack.
62. 07/03/2024, Guo Hongxu putting up the wrong foot and stumbling on the sofa choreo.
63. 07/03/2024, same performance as above, Ji Xiaokun being annoying <3. When other pairs hug, they wrestle.
64. 10/03/2024 day, Mooom! Cai Qi and Wang Minhui are fighting instead of doing rock-paper-scissors again.
65. 09/03/2024 day, uuuhh Wu Yihan sitting on the counter like that with those lights and shadows during Guiding Light is creepy.
66. 09/03/20204 night, love me some Du Guangyi shenanigans, the way he just gives up on the handshake and walk off the table plss and him teasing Deng Xianling during the closing speech. Speaking of, she brings out the bat and forces their arms to form the heart. Then there's Bai Zhuoming being cute and the little shimmy dance he does.
67. 09/03/2024 night, bonus to the one above. Du Guangyi last minute adlib was unexpected but very enjoyable. Also, I love the contrast between his and Bai Zhuoming's tutting.

And his alternate cast is, Shu Rongbo? Even better!! They're kinda in their own world too. Here's a close up. Their voices go so well together!

(small update before tommorow's live)
First of all, check Encore Musicals bilibili, they posted 4th ep of Link Click Musical behind the scenes🌟 It's collection of cute clips with all the actors ^^
The Spring Festival livestream is tommorow, but since timezones are confusing, I'll try to add some info for clearance 💖
When you enter the broadcast link, there is a countdown (see? it reads 19h left). You can copy and translate the whole text to make sure, how long till the start ^^
Another thing is, if you're worried you won't make it right on time, here's how the set list looks like (I translated most important parts, don't panic ok ;) Based on it, we can't guess when exactly LC cast appears, but I think we can trust it will be in the second half, probably after some sort of break.
I have a day off tomorow & I hope I'll be able to watch it without any technical difficulties, so I can report on it. But like I mentioned earlier, chinese musical and lc fans have our back, dw abot missing it 💪

Latest additions to the 11.5" Nightfighter:
- H3 buffer added
- PRI 'Combat Latch' swapped for a Badger Ordnance Gen.2 Tactical Latch
- Cloud Defensive LCS/Surefire ST07 swapped for Surefire SR07-D-IT
The only other major thing I'm going to be adding to it at this point is a Wolfpack Armory Night Howler (muzzle device), since I've decided I'm committing to the 'Plan B' suppressor ecosystem right out of the gate. That should be arriving this weekend.
Meanwhile, I will continue to pray for a YHM T3 Turbo or an Otter Creek Labs Polonium to come back in stock...
Other than that, the only thing I'd probably wanna change out in future is getting a CHF (or at least just chrome-lined) Barrel, but I need to stop playing musical barrels and just shoot the ones I have until they actually need replacement.
But overall, the form factor is exactly where I want it to be for right now. Once the new muzzle device is on, I'll do a full build breakdown/parts list.

PJM2 IS COMING !!
So I've just been on twitter and someone recommended I check on Ayrastarr's IG and guess who's she following!!!
And 🤭🤭 there were rumours on twitter that she was one of the artists that jimin is going to collaborate with for pjm2. My afrobeat heart is so happy cause that means jimin listens to afrobeat cause otherwise how would he have heard about a Nigerian singer and jimin is all hands in his every project and song ❤️❤️
And he's rumoured to have a Collab with Normani, Ariana and Bruno Mars too and the Ariana one is highly possible besides the fact that jimin was recording in Ariana's producer's studio but Ariana was also in London during the same period as jimin and so was Normani.
And Ayo the producer admitted to have a song with jimin earlier this year and said it was going to be released but didn't say when he's worked with Chris Brown, Beyonce and Cardi B y'all so whatever it is that they cooked it's bomb

I was depressed during the last few weeks because of school nobody told me law was this draining I was studying during recess and then the 🛴 saga and jk happened but now I'm seeing the light I'm so so fking happy!!!
And Universal music group followed jimin at the beginning of the year and now Universal music publishing is credited as a distributor under Like Crazy many guessed that it's because of Blvsh changing her agency and that they've been distributing BTS music blah blah, but I think not, UMG followed jimin at the begging of the year , the only member in BTS and now they are listed as a distributor for LC for me and my delulu mind that means jimin is going to get better advertising and marketing for his song and maybe pjm2 and scooter won't interfere anywhere UMGP is bigger than both Hybe and Geffen combined
I've been knew we're getting new music but I'm always happy and excited for news like this, something positive.

I think this is an emotional time. We miss three of the members, and four more will be leaving soon. Even though we knew it was coming, it’s sad to think that very soon, all seven members will be gone and we’ll miss them all terribly.
This is also a quiet phase for yoonmin. Again, even though we knew it was coming, it doesn’t make it easier.
It’s just human nature that when things are quiet, we can fall victim to recency bias, meaning that we place more importance on recent events and tend to think less about the significance of previous events.
In the spirit of avoiding recency bias, I’d just like to offer a list. I find lists and facts really reassuring. Maybe you do too.

Jimin and Jungkook are definitely the most popular members in South Korea. Like look at the positions and streams. Seven is at #1 with over 110K streams and LC is at #2 with 85K, LC Eng Ver at #3, SMF2 at #4, LMA at #7 with 29K and Rainy Days at #10 with 22K streams. Tae's songs will never surpass JKK's streams on Spotify SK and Slow Dancing will definitely get blocked by Seven on its debut and probably even by LC. Like even on Spotify Global LC has surpassed both Tae's songs already when it's been out for 5 months compared to the two weeks Layover's tracks had.
Tae's Instagram popularity and airport crowds can't get him year-end awards and ARMYs will prioritize Jungkook in all award shows that he can win, unless his chances of winning are low (because of not enough data caused by the short tracking period, which Jimin has to his advantage) in which case Jimin will get the awards instead. It seems like Tae's solo stans are too busy arguing with ARMYs and PJMs over low streams instead of pushing harder for Tae. I even suspect a lot of his solo stans unstanned him after the Jennie scandal, especially in Korea, because he used to do so well on K-charts, but not anymore.

I really don’t think Tae is doing bad. He’s got two songs in the top ten, that’s great imo. Why is he only compared to Jk and Jimin and not to everyone else in the list? With several members putting out music at the same time there’s always going to be one of them lower than the others. Tae has more music to come even (soon!) so I think he’s about to have another high ranking song.

cause of the Lovejoy being apparently an aromantic band I've been checking out my old "Lovejoy+" list (I've made these list for so many artists as I've been discovering their stuff) and it's really interesting. Cause it's totally not music I listen to anymore.
I feel kinda guilty about removing many of the songs, but not that guilty. Archival spirit my ass, it's just hindering my re-listening to keep old songs in playlists. I'll refurbish and maintain it
But anyway yeah, I listened the most to Lovejoy when they released Are you Alright and Pebble Brain (& the LC! cover), so basically I haven't really listened much to Wake up & it's over or any of the new singles.
So I'll probably try to actually listen to the new stuff now. I may post about it. We'll see.
the main thing with Wake up & it's over is that I didn't like, get it. Or I got irritated or confused or something. So I'll try to figure out 1) if I like it (and if so why) and 2) why I originally didn't like it (and if those are good reasons)

guess who finally learned to navigate bilibili? me. which means i can finally start tracking down moments/clips i (vaguely) remember but has since lost. yeay :D
starting with this beloved trilogy (yes, these are three consecutive Wang Minhui-Cai Qi performances):
23. 09/12/2023, Where Wang Minhui pushes Cai Qi off the table,
24. 10/12/2023, Cai Qi retaliates,
25. 20/12/2023, and finally they both try to push the other off the table only to fail, mess up the rock paper scissors, and can't stop laughing.
And others like,
26. 02/12/2023, bonus to the trilogy above where Cai Qi fell off on his own for no reason.
27. 29/01/2024, Cao Muzhi's birthday, which has so many good moments from him breakdancing(?) to fighting over the mic until both Zhu Hanbin and Xian Dongyue fell from the table, and Cao Muzhi sang the wrong lyrics and confuses Zhu Hanbin (for more context, check out shimmeringweeds reply! thank you!).
28. 29/01/2024 bonus, Cao Muzhi try to math how to cut cake 16 ways. Zhi Bowen suggested cutting 8 slices then cutting it horizontally lol.
29. 31/01/2024, Zhu Hanbin gets his revenge(5) and slaps Ding Xingchen's ass, tbh in general he was pretty aggressive/energetic this performance
30. 08/01/2024, a pretty chaotic and fun one of Bai Zhuoming, Wu Yihan, and Qian Anqi. Voice cracks, giggles, missed lyric, false steps, we gottem all. Even Zhu Jiayan and Zhang Jiahao were cracking. Highly recommend.
31. 10/12/2023 night, thank you shimmeringweeds for finding this clip. Du Guangyi poisoning someone (Teng Chunpeng) for the first time. Bonus for Deng Xianling sitting up in concern and offering Du Guangyi something to drink too. (Also, double failed hearts and singing the last line of guiding light together!)
32. 05/01/2024, Smol Rongbo!!! And Wang Minhui (for there to be smol there gotta also be big) some other stuff also happens like Xian Dongyue aggresively pushing Shu Rongbo's legs off hers.
33. Wang Minhui's 5 minutes vlog, we got glimpses of other scenes, the cast messing around, a tour(?) of the set, and snippets of other songs.
34. 07/01/2024 day, short one of sulky Wang Minhui, very cute 8:)
35. 23/11/2023, Overall, pretty tamed performance but the curtain call? Really chaotic. Wang Minhui messed up Director Li Haolin's name, which I realized is even funnier bcs right before that he messed up Guo Zhenyan's name and Cai Qi gotta intervene. Man cannot focus lol.

36. Faith of Friendship, <- Official, here's a subbed ver. Cai Qi and Wang Minhui did a good job, singing about their first meeting and basketball. The choreo is also really cool and the song too. Got sad when you remember Wang Minhui once said his Lu Guang has witnessed Cheng Xiaoshi's death.
37. Words Can't Convey My Love, this!!! Shu Rongbo as Chen Xiao being absolutely flustered, (trying) and failing to confess to his crush is so cutee with Wu Yihan trying to wingman in the background. The ending is so funny too lol, with Shu Rongbo running away and Wu Yihan shouting at him. The song is good, the choreo is good, Shu Rongbo's voice is also really good.

There’s nothing wrong in acknowledging the difference in how the company managed jm’s comeback Vs jk’s. And there’s nothing wrong with admitting that jk got a huge push that helped him achieve all these numbers while other members didn’t. That’s not diminishing, that’s stating facts. Idk why army keep calling people “solos” “antis” whenever we point out that a lot of shady things have happened with jimin and face. Yes we don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes but we are also not blind. We can see that face CDs are not restocked, we can see that hype did not acknowledge jimin’s number one, we can see that hype approved that shady article about jimin (the Weverse article ), we know that hype said no when jimin asked for a visual album (he literally told us) , we know that the fans were not informed about bbd new rule and that caused a free fall for LC. we also know that the promotion period was too short for a debut album. These things have happened and have affected LC’s potential and it’s ok to acknowledge that and question why they happened. If some fans want to ignore and focus on the happy things then that’s ok but please don’t accuse those who care about jimin as an artist of being akagaes or whatever you call them. Some of us want to the best for jimin and the rest of the group and we would be happy for all the members and their achievements as long as no one gets sabotaged on the way.

to clarify: you're a solo/akgae because you harbour irrational hatred for other members. not because you care about jimin. caring about jimin doesn't involve hating on the people he's closest to and actively sabotaging them.
tell me your motivation behind comparing jimin and jk's solo debut. where are the comparisons involving the hyung line, if you think of yourself as so fair?
jimin's promo is not fans' job. how the members' promos are handled is not fans' job. you don't know what happens behind the scenes. stop pretending you do.
you list several things that you perceive as sabotage and for some reason you think this, which is business, is somehow your job to demand better for.
let me say this again: the members' careers are business.
hybe is not attacking jimin as a person if they say no to an idea he brings to the table. as a fan i want jimin to do everything that he wants to. at some stage that stops being realistic as a business decision and jimin knows that. it's still more than valid for him to be upset about the decision and to voice that. but when he tells you, he's not also saying to you that he wants you to burn the company building down.
it's baffling you expect fans to be informed about billboard rules by the company.
as a fan, you should enjoy the music and the content that your fave creates. at some stage in this fandom this will have to be said:
it's not fans' job to spend thousands of dollars in order to make their faves chart.
it's not fans' job to stream 24/7 from multiple devices in order to increase streams.
it's not fans' job to monitor the company, billboard, scooter, the entire industry.
it's not caring about your fave when you spread hate against other members. it's not caring about jimin when you team up with other fandoms to try to make a racist American man or two chart above jungkook. you're not justified hating, comparing, sabotaging jungkook because the company doesn't do for jimin what you want them to do.
it would be naive to claim that the fandom's frankly bonkers 'support' as they call it did not put bts and the members where they are today. it did.
but bts never ask you to do any of that. when they say they love army, it's not because of the monetary support or the endless streaming.
when jungkook tells people to care more about themselves than him, and that fans are the main characters' of their own lives, you can wonder why he says that.
(side-note: i seriously side-eye every single artist that has seen what bts fans do, and now encourage their fans to do the same and buy and stream endlessly. several tweets and posts asking fans if they're streaming. all of that. bts have never done that).
be honest with yourself and really think about how what you listed above in your ask makes you feel. then think about whether jimin would want you to feel that way.
people gotta understand that what fandom says isn't rooted in reality. the reality is bts do their job and we don't know what the company does, we don't know their personal lives, we don't know feelings they only share with the people closest to them or maybe with no one at all. the reality is you cannot take every move, act, breath, word of a member as gospel and base your entire experience around you and twitter's assumptions over what they mean. there's gotta be some grey space where people take things at face value and just enjoy the damn music.

On the occasion of cq&wmh lineup I'd like to do a tangent about Cai Qi's personal concert event 'Another me in the world' on March 29th.
As for Link Click references, Cai Qi sings 'What Time Taught Me', a song from lc s1 (⬆in the outfit above, yes) 🌟
Guest actors, Cai Qi's friends, were promoting plays they performed in together with cq (忘忧世界/Forgotten World, 遗愿清单/Bucket List, 杨戬/Yang Jian). There are Zhang Zhihan (he did 'Dive Back in time' song and tuttng cover!) and Shen Shuai (androgynous dance king) from Forgotten World (I love this play, ok?), Wang Minhui from like 10+ plays he did together with Cai Qi etc. And they performed separately or in a group as Cai Qi's 'clones' (he calls them that).
I'm explaining this very poorly, so listen, here's the concert's tag #蔡淇平行世界个人音乐会# search it on weibo for videos (wmh or cq tags will do too). They do a mf kpop dance break and Wang Minhui looks like a million dollars 100% of the time.
Also wmh at some point nags cq '[...] you will have to act with me the day after tomorrow.' (referencing lc musical).

I've been following your blog for a little while now, I love your art and your long form posts are amazing, i was scrolling through your art and a cone heads song came up in my auto play and now I'm wondering what kind of music you like, sorry if this is kind of silly lol
woah... you know, I don't think I've ever gotten a "personal" ask before, hahaha. thank you for asking & thank you for the compliment! i mean my music taste is pretty eclectic (like most people's, I feel like) but my favorite artists are definitely leonard cohen, iggy pop, mark lanegan, and die Prinzen. Though, too, I really like ELO... richard o'brien... brewer & shipley... the who... spoon... cake... john cale... ween... beck... harley poe... abba... the list goes on... in all honesty I will listen to the same song on repeat dozens if not hundreds of times in a row once I find one I really like, and it would probably be easier to give you a list of songs that i've played on repeat than artists I "like" hahahaha. this is my #1 (357 times the week of february 1st):
This song is off my favorite LC album and it's one of my favorites of his. It took me a while to come around to his voice (had to microdose him for a few years) but really everything about his music is unparalleled... I recommend listening to "Everybody Knows" since that's what did it for me. enjoy having your life changed forever

hey, how would you rank all the albums and singles that have been released so far in bts chapter 2? I'd love to read your thoughts
That's a tall order!
As far as albums go:
D-Day (Agust D's music speaks the most of me, although this is by far the worst album of the Agust D trilogy imo. Still, lyrically it's good and Snooze is a masterpiece)
Indigo (really good album, but not really my style, particularly songs like Closer. It's an easier listen than Mono but I still prefer the latter. RM's an amazing lyricist but I often can't connect with, or even understand, the way he writes)
Face (not a bad album, but also not my style, and less enjoyable and interesting than Indigo. SMF Pt. 2 and LC grew on me, and Letter is really sweet)
Layover (also not my style, and very safe, but super easy listening and the songs are surprisingly catchy)
JITB (Hobi challenged himself for sure, and I love More and Arson more than any track in Layover, but Hobi's rapping and singing tone, as well as some of the lyrics in JITB aren't very enjoyable to me. It's also not an easy listening album, so if it's not your style, it's not easy to enjoy it, but I admire a lot Hobi's range and what he accomplished with this album)
On to singles/collabs, which is half of chapter 2 lmao, let's see...
That That (does this count as chapter 2? It's just fun and iconic)
Sexy Nukim (this song slaps so hard it might be tied for number 1)
Don't Ever Say Love Me (amazing song and RM sounds so so good and sexy, but I admittedly haven't listened to it much)
Smoke Sprite (really good song too, RM sure knows how to choose his collabs, he's been doing so well in chapter 2)
Take Two (honestly not sure if I should put this third or here? It's hard to compare an OT7 song with solo songs, or to compare indie with pop. I do think it lacks something though, but it has some great vocals and is emotional to listen to)
Seven (I listen to Seven the most. I'm Jungkook biased and his voice is so soothing to me. Seven has some excellent vocals and the instrumental is really nice. It's a good song with bad lyrics and an unnecessary feature. It had so much potential. Imagine what Jungkook could've done with Latto's part and wittier lyrics. This song could've jumped a few spots up, at least. I'm probably being unfair and should move this further up the list tbh)
Dreamers (I listen to it a lot. It's hype and I like Jungkook's voice, but it's also a bit ugly? When you listen to it it's fun, but it's a bit ugly too haha. I love how dynamic it is. Jungkook did a great job, especially performing it live. It's iconic)
On the street (I like the song quite a bit, though it's emotional to me, but I don't like J. Cole's part, aside from his adlibs. His verses are too long and he even brought religion into it. It's a great song, but I put Dreamers ahead of it due to replay value. If I choose to listen to Dreamers more, then maybe I should put it first? Dunno)
The Planet (it's a nice, refreshing track, and it's nice to hear the members)
Vibe (it gets better the more you listen to it, and I like how Jimin and Taeyang sang. Should it be number 8 or 9? It's hard to decide!)
The Astronaut (I can't listen to The Astronaut without crying. I love the song, and it has a lot of meaning to all of us, but it's not super impressive. It doesn't have much replay value)
Rush Hour (haven't listened to it much, but it's cool)
Left and Right (I've listened to it more than most other songs so I enjoy it more, in a way, and it's not much worse than Vibe or Rush Hour. The instrumental is nice, but the song would be so, so much better it it was just Jungkook... He elevates basic pop songs so well - easy, catchy and fun instrumentals, paired up with Jungkook's polished, clear yet raspy, vocals, makes for the best combo)
Bad Decisions (this is one song no one cared for. I think my mom's the only person who really liked it lmao)
I haven't listened to Angel pt.1 or pt.2 because of what's his face. I listened to pt. 1 in JK's live and that was enough. Jimin didn't have many lines from what I remember.
