I've been thinking about how I could contribute to the ACD/Granada Sherlock Holmes fandom for a while, seeing as I'm neither an artist, a writer, or anything actually useful lol. But then I realized something I myself always treasure are curated fic recs, which I could actually do! I've read probably like 25% of all the h/w ACD and Granada fics on ao3, so I compiled a short list for anyone who is just starting out with the fandom. Without further ado, may I present

Disturbed by the Doctor's unexpected display of emotion, Holmes becomes determined to lift his spirits by any means necessary, with mixed results. Notes: obviously if you're going to read canonverse h/w, you are going to read mistyzeo. this one is just so good and angsty and features music (!!). it's got some steaminess but it also has wooing. basically it has everything you ever need. this is my odyssey, my iliad, my hamlet, etc.

Cameo by what_alchemy 8k | Rated M | For Archive Users Only Summary: Holmes and Watson become embroiled in a case Scotland Yard refuses to acknowledge. A soulmate AU. Notes: i honestly skipped over this fic for a while, since i'm not the biggest fan of soulmate aus. do not make the same mistake i did, because this shit HITS. this fic has hit after hit: soulmate-mark based case for our main duo, angst, hiatus feels, MORE ANGST, and ofc a happy ending. ugh. read this fic if you enjoy being happy.

A Tide That Does Not Turn by tweedisgood 3k | Rated T Summary: Holmes is a very bad patient with a devoted doctor who adores him. Watson wishes it was safe to speak up, but his friend is a tide that does not turn. Notes: do NOT read this if you don't like angst... ok now i'm sensing a pattern. anyways this is the first hurt/no comfort fic i read for this tag and i literally have cried more than enough tears over it. poor, poor watson :( iconic author though, read everything they write!

The Adventure of the Glad Outlaw by radondoran 7k | Rated T Summary: While Sherlock Holmes solves the mystery of a student's disappearance, Dr. Watson is more puzzled by the changing dynamic between his flatmate and himself. Notes: cute pastiche! a nice little mystery and a nice little get-together. ahhhhhh.... this fic is like cotton candy to me, so sweet and fluffy. defo recommend

Hands by MinorObsessions (draculard) 1.4k | Rated T Summary: Naturally, there are some things Watson thinks about Holmes that don't make it into the books. Notes: i'm also in the star trek fandom, so if you know anything about that then you know that hands are kind of A Thing in both circles and ergo i now Have A Thing about hands. so this is a nice little ode to holmes' hands, featuring some doctoring by watson AND a nice reverse appraisal at the end. it's so sweet :)

Conductor of Light by ColebaltBlue 1.4k | Rated T Summary: A Victorian stiff upper lip won't prevent you from falling in love, but it might prevent you from realizing it. Notes: they finally get their shit together! honestly i would recommend this fic to anyone just starting out with h/w fics in any medium. the characterization and dialogue is A1, and their argument is really realistic to me, idk. also features the iconic HOUN quote for its title so props to that!

A (Mis)fortunate Man by sans_patronymic 1.5k | Rated T Summary: December, 1880. Watson writes a note which may be his last. December, 1899. Watson writes back. Notes: READ THE TAGS BEFORE READING. this was a gut-wrenching read but god i cried at the end for watson. don't worry, this one has a happy ending. ugh now i wish there was a second chapter where watson lets holmes read the letters. to sum up: oof, my heart

The Second Smartest Man in London by FairSinner 73k | Rated E Summary: Dr John Watson returns from Afghanistan to Victorian London, wounded, traumatised and alone. When he meets Sherlock Holmes, his life begins to seem worth living again. But Holmes is a man who despises sentiment and Watson cannot seem to expunge it from his heart. Notes: congrats, you've made it to the end!! so now i must confess that it's been a loooong time since i've read this fic, but the private note i left on my bookmark was just "holy shit", so i'm sure it's a banger. i'm also sure it has angst because i love angst and i love bookmarking angst so i can read it again and again and suffer infinitely. enjoy :)

kalim al-asim

he adores you, to simply put it. he doesn’t mind one bit that you have more of an introverted nature — he balances that out. even if you don’t have the energy to go to one of his dorms feasts and parties he wouldn’t care. kalim is content with just you and him if that’s what you really wanted. he’ll take you on a carpet ride any night!

it’s a little funny to watch, but he’s sometimes you’re voice — since you’re quieter or don’t speak up and talk loud as much. you’ll hear him at least once or twice a day being like “oh they said—!”

the victories and celebrations that go off in his mind during the earlier parts of your relationship like when you started to laugh loudly around him or even when he hears you excitedly sharing something you like to him. he loves it all!

jamil viper

he hates to admit it but you sometimes make him feel so flustered and overwhelmed (in the best way) when it comes to your loud boasting of how much you love him or that instant “hey!!!” he hears the moment you see him. he has to pull down his hood a little sometimes jamil cant fight the warmth spreading on his cheeks. he’ll sigh and try telling you there’s no need for the energy (right in the middle of the school hallways ahaha) but does he actually want you to stop?

jamil tends to just let you ramble a lot, he’s a silent listener, giving once in a while a thought or two. not that he’s ignoring you he just doesn’t have the energy to talk sometimes — he’s content just doing work or even cooking and just listening to you go on.

has caught multiple times both overhearing and being told by others of your praise and talking highly of him — jamil was caught totally off guard when he had heard the first time. however by this point he isn’t surprised at all. I would be lying though if I said there wasn’t a smug grin after hearing.

rook hunt

rook is obsessed with you. sorry but he will be telling you an earful of his swooning and how much he is simply enamored by you. though you have no magic he claims that you’ve bewitched him.

I can just imagine you could just be sitting there reading and eating something during lunch silently. you could be doing basically nothing and look over and see rook with his head on his hand looking at you with heart eyes.

though he does most of the talking at times, he doesn’t mind. but I have to say at first it might’ve been a bit overwhelming with his nature for someone like you. at the same time, he can be very quiet when he wants to be, so you get both haha. he’ll even do stuff like write you letters and poetry (they’ve gotten pretty long), flowers, and from what I believe he is artistic you better believe he paints and draws you. you’re his muse.

malleus draconia

he utterly loves your affection, though he was initially surprised by your boldness but he could only lightly chuckle at you and your behavior. he indulges it anyway, he wants you to do this stuff. sebek definitely had a hard time having to deal with seeing you happily hug and kiss him whenever — even touching his horns! (he could’ve passed OUT)

not gonna lie malleus wants your attention and stuff anyway so like this is perfect for him — that both before your relationship and now that you’re so eager to be with him and such. because trust me, you’re his first and only, he just wants to spend his time with you. he is simply content basking in it, obviously.

he kinda just lets you drag him wherever and do what you want, he’ll follow you. but he would love something more quiet at times to, like during your nightly strolls when he sees you trying to follow and see some pretty creature or even small fairies you see time to time.

Tarhos is always very focused in trials.

So much so that he doesn't realize who he's going after.

It was Durkos who first noticed that it looked like you.

No, it couldn't be you.

Tarhos had missed you dearly.

He would never say love, but he did.

He adored you.

His men knew that all too well.

As Tarhos spotted a survivor working on a generator, he grinned.

Finally.

Raising her sword above his head to stroke down, he saw a pair of eyes.

Eyes he knew.

Looking at you shaking like a mouse.

He promised himself that he'd never hurt you, never make you afraid of him.

And that promise was crashing down.

Throwing off his helmet, he bent down to your height, cradling you in his arms.

"Forgive me dearest."

Wiping the tears from your eyes with his blood stained gloves.

He was a monster.

But he was a monster that would protect you.

The Entity could kill him for all he cared about.

He wouldn't lay a finger on you.

Artist

She doesn't see as well as she used to.

The ink and anger clouds her vision.

But she knows it's you.

She was slow to approach.

Unlike some other killers, she didn't retain many of her human features.

She knew she was a monster.

But it was worth a shot.

You knew it was her.

That ever present curious look that was in Carmina's eyes.

She leaned in closer to you.

She could no longer speak, she could no longer hold you.

And, eventually, she'd have to kill you.

The thought made her ill.

As you approached, she slashed at the air next to you.

She wanted you to hate her.

To run and scream.

To be afraid.

She wouldn't be able to show you mercy.

It would be easier if you hated her.

Sebek: That pedestal there is a reproduction from the King of Beasts' bedchamber, and that teacup yonder is ceramic wear with a Queen of Hearts motif.

Sebek: Heheh… That's right, my preparatory research is completely perfect. With this, there shall be no opportunity for me to embarrass myself due to a lack of artistic knowledge.

Sebek: There is no way I can allow myself to appear unsightly now that I've been appointed a supporter of the Land of Dawning National Museum of Art.

???: Hm? What's with this green light in the middle of the painting…? Oh, it's just a bonfire flame.

???: Those fairies look like they're having a blast partyin' like that, I wonder if something good happened.

Sebek: How dare you claim them to be "partying." This is a painting depicting the Thorn Fairy's men extolling her grand exploits!

Ace: Ack, Sebek… Looks like I got caught by an annoying one. So what, you're tellin' me this painting's got something to do with the Thorn Fairy?

Sebek: Exactly. It is often said that these men were as proud of the Thorn Fairy's achievements as if it were their own, and would express their joy with their whole body and soul.

Sebek: Anyone should be able to infer how magnificent the Thorn Fairy was just from witnessing these men's unwavering loyalty.

Ace: Uh-huh, okay. Kinda just looks to me like they're just partyin', maybe masking it as a celebration for the Thorn Fairy.

Sebek: Don't you dare liken them to superficial humans like yourself. Each one of those fae that appear in this tale are all diligent folk.

Sebek: Back in my hometown there are many stories of the Thorn Fairy and other fae passed down for generations. We even have special functions held to emulate their greatness.

Ace: Sure. Can't see those functions as being anything other than boring, though, if it's attended by lame, "diligent" faes～

Sebek: Heh, curious, are you? One such event that has been around for a long while now is a dress color changing competition. Whosoever is able to magically dye the dress to the color closest to the provided example is the victor.

Ace: Ugh, that pisses me off that it's actually kinda cool-soundin'…

Ace: But I guess the whole having to use magic for it just shows it really is an event in the fae-rich lands of Briar Valley.

Sebek: …In my youth, my elder brother and sister took me to witness one such competition and I was struck with amazement.

Sebek: I was completely taken in by everyone's astounding magical prowess to turn a dress vivid blue or pink in the blink of an eye…

Sebek: I remember how excited I was to learn magic as soon as possible so I may also take part in this contest.

Ace: Guess even you have adorable moments. So, what place in the competition did you get once your long-awaited magic finally manifested?

Sebek: Don't be absurd. Color changing magic is a course of study that human mages only learn in their courses at an arcane academy.

Sebek: This was merely something I found enchanting as a mere child. Obviously I would not take part in such a contest now.

Ace: You suuure? Sounds pretty fun to me. Oh hey, then how about you and me have our own little contest with color changing magic back at my dorm sometime.

Sebek: Why would I set foot in Heartslabyul…? Wait.

Sebek: Surely I am mistaken, but… Were you intending on shoving your rose-dying tasks onto my shoulders?

Ace: No way, I wasn't saying that at all! C'mon, don't you think it'd be a great little competition to have with a fellow freshman?

Sebek: Your excuses will not work on me! I know for a fact that you constantly complain over having to paint the roses.

Sebek: The only contest I had any interest in attempting was the dress color changing competition in Briary Valley. Do the tasks assigned to you on your own!

Ace: Oh hey, I know this one. It's a painting of a girl and some talking flowers.

Sebek: According to the legends, the flowers native to the country the Queen of Hearts' presided over had the ability to speak.

Sebek: Who would have thought that the flowers cultivated there would be able to speak or sing as such. I'm sure it was disturbingly loud in the Queen's country.

Ace: Sure, probably. But hey, probably a lot less loud than your voice can get.

Sebek: …Perhaps if you were to cease your own impudent retorts, I wouldn't have a need to raise my voice.

Ace: Reeeaaally, you think? 'Cause to me it feels like you're always angry about something.

Sebek: Of course not. I simply find the uncouth antics of you humans to be utterly aggravating.

Sebek: I know there is a time and place for everything. I myself would never do something as rude as to throw a damper on enthusiastic festivities.

Sebek: In fact, I attended a performance at a live music club just the other day and I did not chide the audience for their overjoyed shouting one bit.

Ace: …Eh. What did you just say? YOU WENT TO SEE A LIVE MUSIC PERFORMANCE!!!???

Sebek: Why would you react as such?

Ace: I mean, come on, didn't strike you as someone who'd go to something like that. So, like, what was the live show you went to go see?

Sebek: My latest venture brought me to attend a small show that showcased a collaboration between bands that primarily performed heavy metal music.

Sebek: This was all due to Lilia-sama, who imparted on me that this was the best way to train my imagination, and that listening to live music is an important part of life.

Ace: Aaah, that makes sense now. But hey, do you even listen to heavy metal?

Ace: I mean sure, you can kinda get into it once you're at the concert even if you don't know the songs, but if you don't even like that kinda stuff in the first place, ain't it tough to actually take in?

Sebek: "Get into it once you're at the concert"? Don't liken me to someone like you. Of course I went to the show after doing my due diligence in research.

Sebek: If I were to attend the show without a full understand of what I am to partake in, it would be an absolute disservice to Lilia-sama's recommendation.

Sebek: I studied everything from the exact times the music club opened their doors and how the audience would be filed into the venue, to the established rules on refreshments, to the proper cheering behavior utilized by the crowd near the front of the house…

Sebek: I believe it is called a "mosh pit." Prior to attending the performance, I made sure to carve into my body and soul the different techniques and proper etiquette as well.

Sebek: On that day, I purport that I banged my head back and forth much harder than anyone else there, shouting and cheering alongside them.

Ace: Don't think I've ever heard of someone practicing to mosh before. But I guess it sounds like you had a pretty fun time, though.

Sebek: Indeed. Although, I did run into slight trouble.

Ace: Huh, what kind of trouble? Cause some mischief, did ya?

Sebek: Absolutely not! I'm not sure if they lost their footing during the show or what, but the performer fell forward towards the audience.

Sebek: I immediately caught the performer and returned them to the stage. After that, the show continued smoothly until the end.

Ace: PFFT! You seriously returned the performer to the stage!?

Sebek: Obviously. I could not allow this concert that Lilia-sama had recommended to me be cancelled merely because the performer had become injured!

Ace: Bwahahaha! Looks like all that prepping you went through didn't help at all. All they wanted to do was stage dive, too.

Sebek: A stage dive…? Hold on now, don't tell me that was part of the performance!?

Sebek: I suppose the performer did look rather stunned when I returned them to the stage… Ghurk, what a blunder…!

Ace: Oh man, that's so hilarious. Wish I was there to see it. Hey, let's hit up a show together next time.

Sebek: SHUT IT! WHO WOULD EVER GO ANYWHERE WITH YOU!?

Sebek: This is a painting of the hyenas who served the King of Beasts, I see. Their countenance depicts an atmosphere overflowing with trust from their liege and confidence in their own abilities.

Ace: Yeah? To me it just looks like they're up to something.

Sebek: Isn't that due to your own wily tendencies?

Sebek: I have seen you multiple times in locations outside the gymnasium during what should be basketball club hours.

Ace: Hey, it's not like I'm slacking off or anything. C'mon, I'm a freshman, right? Sometimes I get saddled with odd jobs from the upperclassmen.

Ace: But, man… Sometimes I do want to skip morning lessons on cold days. Hey, aren't there times you don't want to get out of bed when it's way too cold out, too?

Sebek: It's true that back home it has happened that I couldn't get out of bed in the morning. However, that was not because I wished to skip my training!

Ace: W-Woah, really? I thought you woulda hit me back with another "Don't liken me to you!" or something.

Sebek: I could not help it. I was thoroughly chilled to the bone that morning. It was so cold that there were numerous icicles dangling from our roof, as well.

Sebek: I did not even wish to fathom the temperature outside, but… I somehow forced myself out of bed to begin my morning training.

Sebek: Perhaps it was due to not having slept well, but I could feel my eyelids start to droop. So I decided then to attempt to wake myself up further with the bitter taste of coffee.

Sebek: I swallowed down the strong black coffee and believed myself ready to go. But that was the last thing I remembered.

Sebek: I ended up falling back asleep on the couch and when I finally woke up, it was past noon… An absolute blunder. This is a blot that I will carry with me forever.

Ace: Hey now, that's pretty normal, c'mon. Pretty steep to say you'll carry that forever.

Sebek: No, you are just weak-willed. I, however, strived through trials and tribulations to overcome the bitter cold of mornings and finally found "that" thing.

Ace: What're you acting so pompous about now?

Sebek: Heh, of course you'd be curious. I suppose I can tell you. The thing I am talking about is… A HOT WATER BOTTLE!

Ace: A hot water bottle…? You're seriously using a hot water bottle? Even in this day and age when we have air conditioners and heaters!?

Sebek: Do you seriously not understand? That thing is a fantastic item that warms your entire body without fear of causing a fire or desiccation.

Sebek: Cold winter nights not only diminishes my ability to fall asleep, but also affects the quality of sleep I am able to get. In turn, that makes it difficult to rise from bed…

Sebek: However, a simple hot water bottle prepared at bedtime can warm my body and lull me to sleep even in the coldest winters!

Sebek: The temperature can even be easily adjusted by wrapping it in a towel, or adding water to the bottle. A very convenient item.

Ace: Huh, interesting. I mean, sure, it might not use electricity, but I'm surprised you're using a "human" item.

Sebek: I received this hot water bottle from my father. Back when he had just arrived in Briar Valley, it apparently was very useful in keeping him warm even without magic.

Ace: Oh, so it's a hand-me-down, huh. And here I thought I'd get to hear another hilarious story or something～

Ace: Since it sounds like there ain't gonna be a punchline anymore, I think I'll go check out the shop. Byeee―

Sebek: YOU ASKED THE QUESTION, HEAR ME OUT UNTIL THE END! Good grief, I can't stand that human. …Hm?

Sebek: This is… A painting depicting a the human chattering along with animals. I've read this story in a book my grandfather gifted me.

Sebek: This young lady speaks of her dreams to these critters… Does she truly believe that her wish will come true without any effort on her part? What a lazy creature.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA she is so ASDHSUJD. Okay I started watching the owl house because I knew there was a WLW couple, so obviously I had to check it out. But upon watching the show, I got so emotionally connected to it, or moreso the protagonist, Luz, that it could go beyond some people's understandings... I remember that almost any scene showing her neurodivergent traits would hit SO. CLOSE. HOME. It would be unbelievable. I literally rewatched the show more than seventeen times one summer. ✨ Author & Artist & Supporter Appreciation Post ✨

So I just had the realization that during Kinktober I wrote a total of 33,883 words and I'm a little out of breath about it because . . . holy shit? I did that in one month???

Obviously, I haven't finished all of the prompts yet (actually I still have more than half to do lmao), and to be honest I was a little bummed that I couldn't complete more in time.

But I shouldn't be because I actually totally rocked it. That's an insane amount to write in so little time and it's definitely more than anything else I've tried to write earlier this year before Kinktober in all the previous months combined. That alone is a huge accomplishment and I'm super proud of myself for it.

Also, I finally got over my fear of posting my work online and have gotten tons of positive feedback (that make my heart soar every time), as well as made some awesome new friends who I cherish. Those are things I'll be forever grateful for.

So I wanted to take this opportunity to call out other authors/artists who also participated in Kinktober in any amount or regard (or even if you didn't but are a writer or artist in general) and tell you all how much I admire each and every one of you. You are all such rockstars to do what you can do. The amount of talent I've seen in this past month alone is completely unmatched to anything else I've ever experienced.

I really hope you all are proud of yourselves - and, if you're not, you should be.

I know how hard it can be to find inspiration sometimes and how grueling it can be to just write one sentence or draw one line. But you're all amazing and I admire your drive and persistence to make it happen. The love for your art really shows in your work and makes it great.

hiii sweetie!! first off, thank you so so SO MUCH ☹️💘 it makes me very happy that my munagenius thought overloads are appreciated on here <333 and disclaimer, i MIGHT’VE misinterpreted this idea but i think you were saying what if artist!bff brought munagenius on stage for one of their songs? i really hope that’s what you meant and i’m so sorry if it’s not but i do have a couple of ideas based off of this!!!

for this particular thought, i wanna say that artist!bff is an opener for boygenius alongside muna. their setlist consists of mostly the fan-favorites but also some of munagenius’ and their own favorites out of their discography. but let’s say that there’s a special occasion, maybe it’s somebody’s birthday and artist!bff has a song dedicated to them on a past album.

i’m gonna be self-indulgent and say that it’s julien’s birthday, and artist!bff wrote Leaning On You (which is a song made by HAIM that i 100% recommend looking up the lyrics and listening to it for this) and dedicated it to julien but had muna feature on it. for julien’s birthday, artist!bff decides to add Leaning On You to the setlist that day to celebrate the special yearly occasion. artist!bff obviously plans this ahead of time and lets all of munagenius in on their plan except for julien.

well artist!bff’s time to open comes rolling around, and all of munagenius is watching them from the side-stage. then, muna, phoebe, and lucy hear what would usually be their closing song, but today, that was their cue to join them.

so muna, phoebe, and lucy are all sprinting to the stage and the crowd is going absolutely feral and meanwhile julien’s like ????? but nonetheless she follows them. she’s probably tapping lucy’s shoulder persistently like 🫵🫵🫵 “lucy?! where the fuck are we going???” and lucy’s just like 😇😇. and then julien hears the song’s tune and her head perks up, her eyes are glimmering, and her heart starts beating two times faster because it’s her song. every word in that song you wrote just for her. and for her favorite people to sing it right in front of her for the first time on her birthday was the best gift she could’ve asked for.

i also have a proposal: maybe artist!bff was also background vocals on graceland too? so later when artist!bff comes out to sing graceland too during boygenius’ set, it’s a lot more intimate, and at that point julien’s definitely emotional. i imagine she’s able to hide it once they’re all huddled and hugging afterwards and she has her face shoved in artist!bff’s neck.

Summery: Chan talked to the guys about adding you to their dynamic, you have a job interview and a date with Chan. What happens when Chan tells you about the dynamic of his group?

Chapter Three “The Confesion”

Chans pov

As soon as I saw her get inside safely I told the driver he could take me back to the dorm. On the car ride I had a lot to think about. I just confessed to this girl that I want to take her out on a date without talking to the rest of the guys first. All the guys and I are romantically and sexually involved and y/n doesn't know that yet. There were about to be two uncomfortable conversations I had to have. The first one being with the guys. Once I arrived back at the dorm I walked inside I was greeted by all the boys who were still in the living room.

“I am surprised you're back so soon, hyung.” Said Seungmin slyly.

“Ah, what is that supposed to mean Seungmin?” I said back, already knowing where he was going with this.

“I am just saying I am surprised you didn't spend more time there maybe in her bed Channie hyung” he said back.

“Seungmin y/n is not like that nothing happened tonight or last night. We kissed once and you were all there to see it” I said, now aggravated.

“Seungmin leave chan alone and dont assume the worse about y/n she seems good for our hyung” Said Hyunjin

“Thank you Hyunjin. But with that being said I want to talk to you boys. We are on a break right now, so even if y/n gets this job as our makeup artist she won't actually be working with us for a while.” I said looking at the boys “With that being said I want to ask her on a date. Only after she gets the job though because I don't want people assuming she got the job because of me. I want to know what you guys think about this because obviously all of us are together and we've never talked about bringing another person into our family seriously. We have only talked about being ok with hook ups and none of us have really done that in the time we have been together, only a few of us using that option and usually with other members involved as well.. I would obviously have to talk to her about us and what we are but I wanted to see if you guys were ok with it first. I also wanted to ask if any of you guys have a similar interest in pursuing her” I stated in one long breath at rapid fire speed.

“Damn I thought I was supposed to be the rapper of this group hyung” Said Changbin

I stood there letting out a slight chuckle still feeling nervous and out of breath.

“Channie hyung, you seem to really like this girl. I think if you like her that much already you should take her on a date, you know we all love you and just want you to be happy.” Han Said, relieving some of my stress.

“I agree with Hannie and she is really pretty, if she ends up being ok with it I wouldn't mind pursuing something with her myself” Hyunjin said

All the boys nodded their heads and ended up agreeing. They would be happy as long as I was and if y/n was ok with this all and wanted to pursue something with one of the other members they would like it as well. After the successful chat with the boys I walked into my room, sat on my bed and looked at my phone. When I looked at my phone I saw a text from y/n. It was a picture of her in my clothes that I packed up and decided to give to her. She looked adorable in my clothes. I hearted the message and said goodnight before placing my phone on my side table and laying down for the night.

Y/n pov

When I woke up the sun was shining. It was 9:08 am. I rolled over to look at my phone to see a text from Chan’s manager.

HJ📱: Hey y/n this is Chan and Stray Kids manager. After all the information you sent us last night our beauty team manager wants to meet with you today for the interview. I know it is last minute but could you meet with us at the JYP building at four pm tonight?

Y/n♥️: Thank you so much I would absolutely love to meet with you guys tonight. Thank you for this opportunity. I look forward to meeting you.

HJ📱: Of course we are very excited to meet you too,see you at tonight at four

I am so excited, the first thing I think to do is text Chan since he is the one that is making all of this happen.

BC🐺: hearted a message

BC🐺:Good night doll

Y/n♥️: Chan I don't know if you're awake yet but your manager and the beauty manager want to meet with me tonight at four at the JYP building

BC🐺: I am awake doll and that is so exciting, do you want me to accompany you there?

Y/n♥️: You don't have to Channie but I won't stop you lol

BC🐺:I would love to join you. My driver and I can pick you up at your apartment tonight. After you get the job I was hoping I could take you on a date.

Y/n♥ ️: I would love that, I will see you tonight, and yes Channie I will go on a date with you.

BC🐺: Perfect I will be at your house at 3:30 to pick you up. See you then doll

Y/n♥️: Thank you Channie I will see you then.

I quickly got out of bed and went to my kitchen to make myself something to eat. I had some eggs and toast. Once I was done cooking, eating, and cleaning up it was 10:34 so I went to take a shower. After brushing my teeth I straightened my hair. When my hair was done it was 12. I walked out of the bathroom and to my closet so I could figure out what to wear for the interview and the date tonight. I decided on this mid length black dress with a v-neck. After I picked out my outfit I hung it up so I could do my makeup. I went For a natural brown slight smokey eye with a glowy natural base. Once I finished my makeup it was 1 so I got dressed. I paired the dress with a nice pair of black heels and silver jewelry. I put in some dangly earrings and put on a simple silver chain necklace and silver watch. I paired it with a small black clutch to carry my I.D. and credit card. It was only 2 so I still had a while until Chan was here. I decided to settle on my couch and watch some T.V. to pass the time. It was now 3 so I got up and checked my hair and makeup one more time before Chan arrived. Once I was done I put on some perfume and as I finished there was a knock on my front door. I walked to answer it and as I opened the door I saw Chan looking amazing. His hair was styled, he was wearing a pair of nice fitting black jeans with a white t-shirt and a leather jacket and a nice pair of dark leather boots.

“Wow Chan you look amazing” I said in aw

“I could say the same about you doll” Chan said smiling at me

He held his arm out so I locked my arm around his as he led me to the car. I climbed in first Chan following in after me.

“Are you nervous doll?” Chan said, holding onto my hand.

“Not going to lie I am a little nervous but I am confident in my skills”

“You should be y/n , I am sure you're going to do amazing.”

“Thank you Channie”

The rest of the ride was quiet, we were relaxing and before I knew it we were at the company building. Chan got out first, taking my hand as I got out myself. He led us through the building until we were in a hall full of conference rooms. Chan knocked on one of the doors and after someone mumbled a “come in” he pulled us inside.

“Hello Chan, ah you must be y/n, I am stray kids manager Hyeon-Jeong and this is our beauty team manager Neena”

“Hi it is lovely to meet you both” I said smiling at the two people standing in front of me

“You're so pretty y/n, and Chan I didn't know you were going to be joining us tonight.” Neena said

“Is that a problem Neena, I could step out if you liked” Chan said.

“It is no problem at all its just when you said this was your friend I wasn't sure how close you guys actually were”

The rest of the interview went smoothly as I sat down with all of them going over my information. And skill set. It seems like they all liked me well enough as we would make occasional jokes back and forth.

“Well y/n after this interview I think it is safe to say we want to hire you” Neena said smiling as we stood and shook hands “I am sure you know the boys are on a break right now so we do not need you to start instantly but we will be adding you on to our team and including you in future schedules.”

“Thank you Neena. I greatly appreciate this opportunity and I am excited to start working with you.” I said. “And Hyeon-Jeong, it was lovely meeting you, thank you for setting all of this up so quickly.”

“It was my pleasure y/n you seem like a great girl and I am sure you will work well with our team” He said

With that we bid our goodbyes as Chan walked me out of the room. Once we were away from prying eyes he scooped me up into his arms and spun me around.

“I knew they would love you” Said chan once he placed me back down. “Let's go out to dinner to celebrate now”

He walked me out of the building and back to the car where he gave the driver instructions to wherever he was bringing me. .

“Chan I can't believe this is all happening”

“I know doll, it's probably a lot to take in but you're so amazing and I am happy I can help you with all that you could ever need” Chan said admiring me and smiling.

“Chan all of this is really too much but I am excited for our date” I said smiling at him.

The car then pulled up in front of the restaurant. Chan got out once again gesturing for my hand like he always does. He led me into the building. It looked pretty high class. He walked over to the host stand and gave her his name for the reservation. The hostess then led Chan and I to a booth and the very back of the restaurant.

“I got us a booth in the back so we could have some privacy. I don't want anyone to see us and start rumors. I hope that's ok” Chan said, clearly nervous.

“No this is perfect Channie thank you. This place looks wonderful, it reminds me of an enchanted forest.” I said as I looked around taking in all the dark green and gold accents of the restaurant around me.

“I hope you enjoy it” Chan said.

Our waiter approached and asked us what we wanted to drink and left menus with us. Chan ordered us a nice bottle of dark red wine. We both looked over the menus and decided on an ala vodka sauce on pasta.

While waiting for the food Chan started up a conversation. “So you said you don't listen to K-Pop, what do you listen to”

“I listen to mostly alternative and punk music” I said

“You actually might like some of our music then” Chan stated “We have a few alternative songs and our next album is based on more of a rock type of style”

“I would love to hear them at some point then. I want to know what you and the guys make”

“I will show you at some point doll. We recently released a collab with this artist Lisa and it is more of an alternative style”

“I can't wait, Channie” I said.

“So doll how old are you, I know I probably should have asked this before our date but I am 26”

“Its ok Channie, I am 23”

“That's perfect you’re the same age as most of my members”

Our food arrived at the table and we kept talking while we ate and drank. Towards the end of dinner I could tell Chan was getting nervous and I couldn't tell why because it seemed like everything was going smoothly.

“Chan are you okay you suddenly look very nervous”

“Yes doll I am okay, I just need to talk to you about something and it's making me a little anxious”

“What is it Chan you can talk to me about anything” I said now getting anxious myself

“If it is ok doll I would rather talk to you in a more private environment. Could we maybe talk back at your apartment once we are done?” He asked

“Of course Channie” I said trying to stay calm

“Thank you doll. I am going to go pay the bill and then we can go to the car”

“Here take my card let me pay” I said as I went to grab my little purse

“No doll this is on me I asked you out remember” Chan said standing up before I could protest anymore

Chan returned to the table and took my hand as we walked to the car. On the car ride to my house we were both anxious wreck’s, neither of us saying much but still staying close to each other. When we got out of the car Chan walked me to my door and held onto my waist from behind while I unlocked my door. I took Chan's hand and led him to my living room where we sat down on the couch facing each other.

“Before I take a chance and ruin this night I just want to say I had a great time with you y/n. You're such a sweet girl and you're so pretty inside and out. I hope I get the chance to know you more over time”

“Thank you Channie, I could say the same thing about you but I don't think you could ruin this night” I said trying to calm my own nerves and his at the same time.

“Well I wouldn't say that. Rather than dragging this out I am just going to come out and say it. You have met my boys and I am sure you have noticed that a lot of them are really close. Like closer than just friends and that is because we are all in relationships with each other romantically and sexually. I love them and they love me and in turn we all love each other. I know this is a lot but I told them I wanted to pursue you but I also will stay with them and if you can't accept that I don't think this can go any further. I wouldn't be upset. I know this isn't a typical thing to come across and I would still love for you to work with us but if you can't do that I can have you transferred to another group. When I talked to the boys they all agreed that if you were ok with it they would want to pursue you too. You don't have to do anything with all of us, you could just stay with me, go out with only a few of us or you could choose this is too much and you don't want to pursue anything at all” Chan said, rambling.

“Chan, this is a lot to take in. I don't even know if I caught everything you just said” I stated, being shocked by everything Chan had just told me “I think I need some time to think all of this over this is a lot of information.”

“That is totally understandable doll. Why don't you sit and think about it. I will go back to the dorm tonight. Just let me know when you have made up your mind whatever it is I understand.”

“Thank you Chan I am sorry I don't have an answer right now this is just a lot to take in”

“It is okay doll, there is no need to be sorry.” Chan said as he stood up.

I walked Chan to the door and he left. My head was racing. How was I supposed to choose what to do? I went into my room and took off my makeup and put my hair back and put on some comfy clothes. That was when I saw Chan's clothes that I had worn two nights in a row. I laid back on my bed and turned on my T.V. putting on some mindless show in the background as I started thinking about what to do. Chan is a great guy. He was consistently sweet to me, proving that I deserved to be taken care of and that I deserve the best. Plus he was undeniably handsome. The thought of being with him did make me happy. But his friends, his group, his other lovers. Could I deal with that? They were also very attractive and the thought of them all wanting a chance with me didn't sound too bad. A few of them have already proven to me that they are just as sweet as Chan. Is it decided then? Do I know what I want and what I can handle? I rolled over trying to find piece so I could drift off to sleep. I would tell Chan my decision the next day.

Chans pov

As I left y/n’s house I couldn't help but feel a pain in my chest. I know it's too soon to have fallen for this girl but I couldn't help it. I wanted to protect her from everything bad in the world and I wanted to help her achieve her dreams. I know I should have expected this, it was a lot to take in. I couldn't help feeling a little sad about it. To be fair I dont have her answer yet but I am not very hopeful about the outcome. As I walked into the dorm I saw Felix in the kitchen. He must have noticed the look on my face because suddenly he approached me.

“Chan what happened you don't look too well” He said as he came over wrapping his arms around me.

“I don't think it is going to work out with y/n”

“Why do you say that did she say those words to you”

“Not not exactly but I could see the look on her face”

“Chan it's going to be ok she hasn't given you an answer yet so don't overthink it” Felix said squeezing me tighter “Hey why don't you go relax and we can lay in your room and watch a movie, okay?

“Okay Felix, thank you”

“Of course Chan, go get some comfy clothes on and I will be right in. I just want to tell Hyunjin I will be with you tonight”

“Okay, thanks Lix.” I said defeated while heading to my room

Once I got into my room I let my shoulders drop. I changed out of my clothes just putting on sweatpants and climbing under the covers. Even though it had been two days since y/n had slept in my bed it still smelt like her and I couldn't help but feel my heart hurt more.

Felix’s pov.

After watching Chan go into his room I took the brownies out of the oven and placed them on the counter to cool while I went to talk to Hyunjin and Changbin in our room. When I walked in they were cuddling but they both lifted their heads to look at me.

“Hello pretty, finally coming to join us” Hyunjin said looking at me.

“Actually, I am going to spend the night in Chan’s room. He's down after his date with y/n. He said she didn't give him an answer about what she wanted to do. I can understand her hesitancy but Chan is really upset about it. I'm a little scared for him. I have never seen him this upset about someone.” I said

“I hope he is ok but yeah Felix you should spend the night with him” Hyunjin said and Changbin hummed in agreeance looking upset himself now.

“Good night boys I am going to his room now, I love you both”

“Love you too” Hyunjin and Changbin said at the same time.

I left our room, closing the door behind me. I walked to the kitchen taking out a plate and a knife. I cut out two squares from my freshly made brownies and placed them on the plate. I then grabbed two glasses and filled them with milk. I put them on a tray and walked towards Chan’s room. When I opened the door he was already snuggled in under his blankets. I could see that he had his face in the pillow breathing deeply. I think it is safe to assume that is where y/n slept the other night.

“Channie, look at what I have.” I said in a sing songy tone, bringing the brownies closer to him.

His face instantly lit up when he saw me, or maybe it was the brownies.

“Thank you Felix, I really appreciate you.” He said, still sounding upset.

I walked over to him, handing him the plate and a glass of milk. I placed the tray on the floor and my glass of milk on the nightstand. I climbed under his blankets with him and snuggled beside him. We put on Iron man 2 and began to eat our brownies. After a while Chan was out cold so I took the plate from him, placing it off to the side for now cuddling into his side also falling asleep myself.

I see him as a very caring and careful soul, who doesn't bond with everyone but holds extremely close the ones who manage to gain his trust 3. He would be able to understand if you need help or are struggling mentally, and he'd be there 24/7 for you 4. He could use his quirk to induce relaxation and/or make you fall asleep... obviously if you're comfortable with it and give your consent 5. He would totally get involved in your hobbies! I already see you two painting or doing ceramics together 6. You probably have made a "couple sculpture"... like a heart broken in half and each one of you keeps a half in their bedroom 7. He trained with Aizawa. He knows how to be silent. Expect surprise tickle attacks from any direction at any time~ 8. He'd be extremely happy to read your writings and give you a review about them!! He'd probably use tickling to convince you to let him read them hehe 9. Tickles whenever you say that you suck at what you do! He doesn't tolerate when someone talks badly about someone he loves (even when it's you talking badly about yourself) 10. He probably volunteers cat shelter, and sometimes you join him. Seeing how gentle he is with cats made you fall in love with him all over again. 12. When his insomnia hits hard, he comes to your room and you two end up hanging out together all night long. Or if you fall asleep, he just cuddles you and watches over you, as if he could keep bad dreams away.

🔮 Tickle scenario

Everyone liked weekends, but you surely had one more reason to enjoy them. Both you and Shinsou were free from school, which only meant one thing: date!

You always did something different: watching anime, making sculptures, painting, chatting, taking walks... one time you even tried to crochet, but he made a mess and got so grumpy that you decided to drop that activity.

That Saturday, you two decided to go at the cat shelter to do some volunteering. It was a really unusual date, but you loved spending time with each other and a ton of purring furballs. Also, the happy, adoring expression on Shinsou's face was so endearing...

The owners of the shelter were extremely nice with you, and they adored how you spent your free time on "volunteering dates". Obviously they made you work a little, but then they let you play with the kitties as much as you wanted! Actually, they let you play until it was closing time... or else you would've never gone back home.

"Hey baby I'm done with Kai, we can go home." Shinsou called for you after leaving a 5-month-old kitten to sleep, but he got no response. He saw you sitting on a chair, your back was facing him. "Baby didn't you hear me? We got-" "Shh!" You suddenly interrupted him.

He raised an eyebrow and approached you, and he couldn't believe his eyes. The new refugee of the cat shelter, who refused even to approach the sweet owners, was cuddled up on your lap and peacefully asleep. "Would you look at that..." the tall teenager smiled, "seems like this little rascal finally chose someone to trust." He was overjoyed to see that furball finally open up.

"Too bad that this human is already busy with someone else~" He reached out to grab the kitten and put him back in his sleeping pillow, but you swatted his hands away. "You're not ruining this moment..!" You whisper-yelled to not disturb the sleepy little angel, "It took me the whole day to get to this point, now we're staying here." You stated, more assertive than ever.

Your boyfriend raised an eyebrow, clearly amused with your antics, "Oh really? Then it would be a shame if a sudden earthquake disrupted your peace~"

You didn't have time to ask him what he meant. A tingly feeling spread throughout your body, making you almost jump and throw away the poor kitten. "Shinsohohou!! Stahap ihihihihit!!" You did your best to keep your legs still and not wake the little furball, but at the same time you desperately tried to swat Shinsou's hands away from your sides.

"But I'm doing nothing, honey... it's just the earthquake." He mused, close enough to your ear to make it tickle, and then blew a raspberry on your neck for good measure. He had to admit, he was a little surprised by how much you were resisting the impulse to squirm away. In other circumstances, you would've already jumped away and hidden somewhere, maybe curled up in a ball.

"Wow, not so squirmy now that you have the little rascal on your lap, huh?" He asked as his fingers played with both sides of your ribcage as if it was a piano, "I think we should name him Giggles... a fitting name related to a wonderful memory like this one..." He thought out loud with the clear intent to tease.

However, the fun had to come to an end. The owners were closing up and you two had to go back to school. He chuckled evilly and without wasting time, he drilled softly under your arms. This time, you couldn't hold back the squeal, which woke up the cat.

"Ah... you're finally awake, Giggles. Did you have a nice rest on my girlfriend's lap?" The violet-haired guy slowly approached the cat, "Now it's time to go to your actual bed, though. But we'll be back soon, alright?" He picked up the little one and laid him on his sleeping pillow and waited for him to fall asleep, then he looked at you and helped you up.

"Come on, say goodbye to giggles and get ready to go, or else I'll let you alone in Aizawa's clutches if we arrive late to UA." He told you with a smug grin on his face. You quickly got ready, not wanting to be scolded by the strict teacher, said goodbye to the owners and got on your way with your boyfriend.

"So... did you have fun on this date, Giggles 2?" Shinsou asked, laughing at how red your face turned, which made you smack his arm in utter embarrassment.

"Shut up..."

I personally think their dynamic is one of most misunderstood when it comes to the slenderverse. And I understand that's probably an unpopular opinion amongst many but, TO ME. PEOPLE GET THEM ALL WRONG.

HABIT and Vinnie have basically a very domestic life from what it seems. I mean, You can see that they can move around each other with ease and HABIT has no issue being affectionate with Vinnie, (Vinnie most likely would never initiate it, he knows better. even tho he's immortal and would heal, he's not looking to get gutted.)

You can see that vinnie has no issue talking back to HABIT and being a smart ass. He KNOWS HABIT needs him around, so he's gonna treat HABIT how he wants while he's yk,,, literally being held hostage.

I think that HABIT is actually a really good artist, I think he probably has a Chicken scratch art style which I find to be really nice.

I think Vinnie is also a pretty good artist, especially after he was left alone for awhile, he definitely picked up some extra talents. probably just a bunch of little things that he could find to entertain himself.

I think that HABIT is a hot chocolate drinker, Vinnie is a tea one. But they both like having coffee in the morning. HABIT likes his with more cream than coffee and Vinnie likes to have a nice Even amount.

I've seen that many people think HABIT makes Vinnie clean up the blood of the victims or the house and stuff and I really don't think he would force him at all, if Vinnie WAS cleaning, it'd be out of his own free will. But I honestly feel like HABITS got his powers. he can do that shit himself methinks.

They're both absolutely insufferable, I know that for a fact. But they seem to actually connect on things, they have common interests and they both want to take down slenderman.

HABIT isn't out killing everyday I don't think, I mean for example, what if the weather is just fucking horrible out?? you think HABIT is gonna go out? NO WAY.

I think days, or nights like that, they'll turn on a movie, (most likely a slasher/horror/gore movie) or play a video game, or maybe they'll just go off and do their own things but, obviously in their personal places.

I think this obviously built up over time too, after years of HABIT being the only person Vinnie interacts with, I think it's bound to get a little friendly.

I think it started off with HABIT forcing Vinnie out of his room and making him sit in the living room and he just basically calls him a big sad loser and he needs to unwind because it's making HABIT feel like a big sad loser. (he's lying of course, but he really does want Vinnie to stop moping. it's annoying.)

over time they got comfortable enough to sit on the same couch together. and even more time for HABIT to be able to put his legs over vinnies as he points out the flaws of the kills In each movie.

Habit is ALWAYS talking during movies, and what's worse, so is Vinnie. THEY'D BE HORRIBLE TO WATCH MOVIES WITH. they'd be making fun of the characters and the plot, or they would be talking about what they would be doing instead. Probably ending in them making fun of each other for being so predictable. (they have no other friends. they basically function the same.)

Vinnie actually finds that listening to HABIT ramble can be calming sometimes, mainly because it's a good sign that HABIT is in a good mood and he doesn't need to be walking on eggshells.

I think HABIT has taken the time to learn vinnies favorite meals, so on days Vinnie is "really good" (There was no need for the canon use of "im a good boy" and "you've been a bad little boy.") he'll make Vinnie his favorite thing.

Vinnie is always so suspicious of course, and that always makes HABIT happy, He's always glad to know that Vinnie doesn't trust him, atleast not completely. HABIT likes that. He's found someone who he can respect and someone who respects him.

Vinnie knows his place and that might just be one of HABITS favorite things about him.

I think that they actually like to watch each other work, even though they actively complain about it.

Yes this even goes for Vinnie filming HABIT torturing. He doesn't really enjoy the whole torture part, but he likes watching HABIT work, and it gives him content, wether he can even post it. Hes sick in the head guys, his curiosity will ALWAYS get the better of him.

Although I think Vinnie much prefers to watch HABIT clean and sharpen his weapons. HABIT'S weapons are his pride and joy, he loves them more than anything. ANYTHING. and Vinnie can see that when HABIT takes care of them, He admires it a little.

He think it's kind of beautiful, the way a entity so awful like that could find love for something even if it's in some sort of twisted version of it, it's still love right?

And I think HABIT really likes to watch Vinnie work on his computer, or well, he likes to BOTHER Vinnie while he works. I see him basically as a cat who is desperate for any kind of attention.

I could see him basically throwing himself at Vinnie and touching all over his face and hair and messing with his laptop and asking several questions that he definitely knows the answer to, he just wants to watch Vinnie's face as he gets annoyed. He finds it fun.

Vinnie can never EVER stay angry for some reason, maybe it's because sometimes for a split a second, HABIT looks like Evan.

The grand Kömsko (König/Gromsko) timeline & masterpost

The time has come to sum up the lore and history of the ship that stole hearts of many by complete accident and wormed its way into the subconscious of many Polish shippers in the cod fandom. This post is for you, if you wanna participate in our little cult but struggle a bit with realising what headcanons may be appropriate for Gromsko, if you’re not Polish yourself and some König ideas that we think make sense in relation to this ship.

It all started on the fateful day of December 9th 2022 when Ghostytoasty made the most random joke that was exactly the snowflake needed to start an avalanche of events

It led to Orin pitching an idea of enemies to lovers story for these two and my own brainworms picked it up to basically draft the whole fanfic in the conversation, at which point Shiba promised to make art for, if I actually wrote it.

Well, two days later, a child was born, the very first Kömsko fanfic to be posted on AO3

written by none other than me aka ElizaStyx with the beautiful cover art done by MizuShiba

And thus the ship became reality.

It gained interest on twitter with artists like @/620_ne1 and @/Capitan_LX among others posting their own fanart of the pair

Shiba, of course also kept creating more beautiful art of the couple

Encouraged by the small cult that spawned amongst the people of the ghostsoap discord I started working on the sequel fic, a humorous and fluffy take on the pair dealing with being in love while also working for the rival factions

meanwhile, Ghostytoasty got their own inspirational angst juices flowing and wrote a beautifully poetic MCD fic

Somewhere along the way, a side channel dedicated to Kömsko spawned in the discord and we begun to fill it up with the various headcanons and ideas that are now listed in a twitter thread by Capitan_LX but to sum up some facts to start your own juices flowing

Gromsko basic headcanons:

- born 11.11.1990, on the Polish Independence Day - brought up in roman catholic faith with very strict, religious parents and a younger sister we named Judyta, definitely was either an altar boy or sung in the church choir - wears a cross around his neck since childhood - history nerd, knows everything about history of Poland and will ramble all night long - has two music listening modes: Sabaton or Polish pop like Doda, hates disco polo - very patriotic, brought up basically brainwashed into believing in God, Honour, Fatherland above all else, had dreams of a winged hussar and that’s why he joined the army (but also dreaming of men, huh?) - struggled coming to terms with his sexuality because the catholic church teaches that homosexual love is forbidden, used to say very offensive shit in his youth but definitely had grown since then - swears in Polish even if he speaking in a different language - calling people idiots and other names is his language of love - never recieved gifts as a kid, cries every time König gives him something and König keeps showering him with gifts - knows English, Russian and German but doesn’t let on just how much German he understands because König loves to whisper sweet things into his ear that he thinks Gromsko doesn’t understand

König basic headcanons:

- born 15.08.1994, on the day of Assumption of Mary which is obviously a big religious holiday in Poland - is an only child, brought up by a single mom who struggled to make ends meet and worked several jobs but would give up anything to care for him, though often was absent overworking herself - severely bullied in school for being tall, awkward and having no dad, called slurs - became a bookworm to escape reality into fictional worlds - keeps a journal of his thoughts and the books he read - daydreams a lot and in the evening writes down many stories that he daydreams about during the day in his journal but thinks they are silly and never showed anyone until Gromsko came around (Gromsko adores them) - his love language is gift giving and he will look for excuses to give gifts - listens to heavy metal and death or black metal, loves Rammstein - gets into Behemoth and other Polish metal bands because of Gromsko - brushes his teeth at least three times a day, never smoked because it’s bad for gum health - decides to learn Polish in secret so Gromsko doesn’t know he understands when he calls him names - will listen to Gromsko ramble about history all night long - anxious mess 24/7, has severe panic attacks sometimes but Gromsko knows exactly how to ground him and calm him down
