favorite thing about them: he's SO SO SO COOL, he's BLUE, he's TALL, he's PRETTY, he has ICE POWERS, he is ONE OF THE MOST HONORABLE CHARACTER IN MORTAL KOMBAT, he's got FAMILY ISSUES, they showed him SAVING PEOPLE ONCE, he's so COOL, he has a GREAT DEVELOPMENT AS A CHARACTER, he GENUINELY WANTS TO DO GOOD AND REDEEM HIS CLAN, he is VERY STRONG, he is TRAGIC, he's ICONIC AND INSTANTLY RECOGNIZABLE, his EYES ARE PRETTY and GLOW SOMETIMES, he's got a COOL SCAR, he may not be the most social but DESPITE THAT he BELIEVES IN UNITY, he's an ICE KING but he CARES A LOT, he has GREAT TITS, he has SOMETHING GOING ON with the other guy, he is RIPPING SPINES OUT, he has DRIP (his outfits OWNS), he's so COOL, HE'S SO COOL, I LOVE HIM💙❄💙

least favorite thing about them: cant believe it took them until mk11 to finally put a fitting face model on this man (it's the handsomest one too). Also you'd be surprised by how little they actually have him do in general, I want to see him more goddammit??? Also similarly to scorpy, they have got to stop making him go through so much back to back, you telling me he got cyberized, died, was a slave wraith for years, came back to life and regained by his free will only to IMMEDIATELY LOSE IT AGAIN BY GETTING POSSESSED BY AN EVIL BLADE WHO FORCED HIM TO KILL PEOPLE? I hate this, let the man breathe.

favorite line: sadly Subz did not trademarked a catchphrase, but he makes up for it by having at least 10 ice puns ready at all times. I love every of his intros tho. I really do love his chapter in mkx where he's just like "It's time to entertain our guests >:)" while sitting on his big ice throne. He was great in mkx, and in mk11, and in mk9, he's great in general. At the top of my head I like this one: "Minus 3 degrees Celsius." "What is that?" "The freezing point for blood.". I also like "We share blood, we are not brothers." Because it's mirroring what Bi-Han said to him and it's saaad :(

brOTP: obviously with Tomas Vrbada aka Smoke! I really think it's their friendship in the Lin Kuei that allowed them to keep their honor and good morals, and their wedding vows oath to never fight each other in the cartoon was sweet. Then there's his relationships with the rest of the earthrealmers gang that's pretty wholesome, especially the Kombat Kids. Love the genuine respect between him, Sonya and Jax, and I have to give a special place to Johnny, because he's THE goofy, funny, annoying guy of the group and those types of characters are always a riot when paired with cold, serious and no-nonsense characters like Sub-Zero (tho he does humor people sometimes). Johnny punched him in the dick once.

OTP: so in the few years between mkx and mk11, Sub-Zero and Scorpion quite literally traded hairstyles like Kuai has the bandana now, Subz also went from calling Scorp "Grandmaster Hasashi" to "Hanzo" and they've hang out around each other enough that Subz can recognize Scorp by footsteps. They didnt have to do that. They work effortlessly well together in their shared chapter and have a few number of cosmetics referencing one another on positive terms. Let's not mention their shared intros or them talking about each other in intros with other characters. Even before all that, one can assume Subz learned how make tea in the proper japanese way specifically for Scorp to make peace with him. In the og timeline, Scorp swore to protect Subz and branded himself "Sub-Zero's guardian", I think he straight up killed the Big Bad at one point because Subz was on the other side. In the animated movie, they've saved each other a grand total number of 9 times aka at least once in every one of their shared scenes. Also whatever the hell was going in these:

nOTP: the OBVIOUS ones of course because while I havent seen any so far I am wary when characters have siblings and also I've heard people have been wierd with uncomfortable age gaps. So none of that. And none of anything else really because once again I am not that much of a multishipper. And it's not like Sub-Zero is the most social of characters. And I'll be real... even without any shipping at all, based on a few intros, some concerning his lovelife, and some having particular interactions with some characters, and what we can assume about the Lin Kuei before he became Grandmaster, as well as his own personal history and relations... Guys I don't think Sub-Zero is attracted to women😳. Why is every positive relationships in your life with men? Why do you go 🔪❄ when Skarlet is flirting with you and next minute when Erron Black is asking if youre here for shooting lessons youre like "Are you offering?👀". You dont use guns at all. "I dont have time to socialize/Love gets in the way" ok Kuai. Why are you associated with bears for fucks sake.

random headcanon: oh that man LOVES to teach, passing his fighting knowledge along is what saved him in the long term I think, cause after losing his free will for a whooping THIRD time (in a row!) he really was ready to end it all, but then him destroying the Cyber Lin Kuei and becoming the new Grandmaster gave him a new purpose as in, restoring the Lin Kuei's honor first and foremost, but I think he really found his true calling and inspiration when he trained the new Lin Kuei, so much that he just. keep mentoring people now, even if theyre not Lin Kuei. In the words of Hanzo "training outsiders is Sub-Zero's passion.", and we know he's good at it too. I think it would make sense for him to feel that way as well, due to him being 1) in an assassin clan, and 2) a little brother, like, him having an impact on people around him (being Grandmaster, teaching people) would affirm himself as a person not living in the shadow of someone else, and also affirm and cements himself as THE Sub-Zero. I also think he also actively likes being called Sub-Zero, because on the back of his mind there's a part of him who will always be Tundra, so getting called by the title that he took to honor his brother but eventually earned and made his own has to feel good somewhat. And with Hanzo exclusively calling him Sub-Zero make that what you will. Also his ice dragon children are canon I know it. They should bring them back or reference them or something I'm BEGGING.

unpopular opinion: they REALLY have to do more with Noob Saibot and Frost because I simply do not care about them OR their relationship with Sub-Zero, which sucks! Because on paper they are extremely important characters to Sub-Zero. Noob is ok on his own but he ISN'T on his own and is severely underutilized and 2dark4me even by my standards, and Frost is just. annoying. It has the grounds for some interesting and GOOD tragedy but as those two characters are kinda flat and boring, when I see them I just think Kuai Liang should just get rid of them for good and move on with his life, to which he doesnt... really seem to disagree with honestly? Anyway regular Bi-han>Noob Saibot and Kuai Liang&Frost should have a complicated Shifu&Tai Lung-like relationship. Otherwise I straight up don't care as of right now.

Favourite thing about them:

That he realises how much shit his family is in (read: has gotten him and Narcissa into) by the time Half Blood Prince rolls around and starts to resist and change. At least that’s how I read it. Like, it’s clearly a struggle for him, trying to deal with that mission on his own when it’s the last thing he wants to do, and I love how that’s portrayed in the movie. Then obviously Deathly Hallows happens and he doesn’t identify Harry and he doesn’t try to kill him in the Room of Requirement. And then (canonically) he marries Astoria despite his parents’ feelings about her attitudes to blood-status, showing that he’s realised the error in his own prejudices.

Least favourite thing about them:

That he was a blinkered, entitled, prejudicial prat before the above realisation happened. And that, even after he was able to see how bad things had become, he didn’t ask for help.

Favourite line:

Just because I’ve read Cursed Child recently, how about this description of Crabbe and Goyle – “Two lunks who wouldn’t know one end of a broomstick from another.”

And I can never get over the pain in – “I haven’t got any options! I’ve got to do it! He’ll kill me!”

brOTP:

I’m afraid I’ll have to go to fanon for this one and say Theo, Pansy and Blaise. Theo as the childhood friend that he reluctantly lost touch with under his parent’s demands and shot wary, apologetic glances at across the common room while at Hogwarts. Pansy as the best friend who would happily slap him when he was on the verge of doing something stupid and hated seeing him tear himself apart. And Blaise as a later-in-life enabler; a behaviour that Pansy absolutely hates because it means she has to tell Draco off even more for generally being an idiot.

OTP:

Well this is difficult for me! I started out reading Drarry fanfic and fell deep into that hole so Harry x Draco will always have a large piece of my heart. But I was persuaded to try reading some Dramione and fell in love with Draco x Hermione, too. They’re both very separate in my mind. I read them for different reasons and when I’m in different moods. I imagine Draco having two possible paths/ways of finding redemption after Hogwarts and find them in both Drarry and Dramione.

nOTP:

Ron, Ginny or Luna. I headcanon him developing a really valuable friendship with Luna that their other friends cannot begin to understand, so I could never ship them. Dron I just find weird and I think there’s an animosity there that they wouldn’t be able to get past. And Ginny, she becomes his partner in crime for teasing Harry and that’s the only sort of positive relationship I can see them having.

Random headcanon:

He always wanted a pet as a child and would ask his mother about it on the rare nights that she put him to bed herself. She always said they would have to ask his father whose answer was always no. “The Malfoy heir doesn’t have pets.”

Unpopular opinion:

I like Astoria. I think she was good for Draco and exactly what he needed. I think he absolutely adored her and worshipped her and in no way thought he deserved her. Some of my absolute favourite fics, whether they’re Drarry or Dramione, are ones set later in life after Astoria’s death and Harry or Hermione’s divorce. It also means we get the adorableness that is Scorpius Malfoy.

What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?*

Ehhh this actually varies. A bit with Sub-Scorp because Hanzo is really grieving over his wife and he really loved her. I cam truly see the whole enemies-to-lovers trope here but Hanzo never truly got over losing his wife. He was a happily married man and probably barely thinks about loving Kuai like that, let alone another woman. Plus, if the ship was full sail, I really want those two to truly be friends first before becoming anything. They've barely made up in MKX, and now they're becoming actual friends in MK11. Give that shit some time first before the ship can fully sail. Besides, you never know if Hanzo actually falls for another woman that isn't his wife.

The whole Ermac being shipped with anybody. Especially with Kenshi. Ermac is literally a fucking zombie with TEN THOUSAND souls bound together in the vessel. How does that even work??? You literally have bloodthirsty monsters battling for dominance in the body. You really think that none of them won't attempt to gain control to kill the love interest? And think of the drama going on inside of Ermac where a certain amount of souls is in love with somebody while the others aren't. That's just doing the most.

You already knew this was coming because I know you lol but BlackCage. Tbh this ship, while it might've started off as a crack ship, is just there to be obligatory. Erron has to be shipped with someone so just ship him with Cassie. He barely flirts with her in MKX anyway. Why ship her with him when he flirts with Jacqui and Sonya way more? I mean, they're both just snarky and shoot with dual pistols. That's all I can think about with this ship. Not knocking to anybody who likes it but it's just boring and obligatory to me.

Are there any popular fandom OTPs you only BroTP?*

Again, Sub-Scorp. I do ship them too but I really want them to have a BroTP. They're really starting to be friends in MK11 only for Hanzo to get killed off (RUDE). I really wanna see their friendship develop after all those years of fighting each other. Especially since they were pawns of Quan Chi and Shinnok the whole time. I know they'd value each other's friendship and would work together to overcome their loss and trauma. Plus, I need them to drop their mixtape "IcyHot" soon. With their cover.

I don't really knock it but Blackabal. It's cute and all but I really see them as best friends doing dumb shit with each other. Pulling pranks on Kano and other Black Dragon members, on each other, drinking contests, sparring contests, etc. They're the good definition of boys will be boys with their shenanigans. Especially since I know for a fact that they've done Ding-Dong-Ditch several times at some point.

Kitana and Jade. While it tends to be cute at times, it still feels obligatory. Plus, Jade has an actual canon love interest in MK11 and he's brown. It gets boring with Kitana and Jade. And it's lowkey unfair that Jade is canonically a princess but she's reduced to just being Kitana's bodyguard. Let her have her prince and kingdom too.

BlackCage is the big one. They're pretty popular compared to BlackJac.

Along with that, ErronJin. At first if you do it right, it can work. But then after that it gets obligatory. They're pretty popular too. If they actually had given Kung Jin a good love interest, then it wouldn't bother me as much. Again, it kinda feels like just ship Erron with the next guy you see and call it a ship. It's weird how shipping Erron with Cassie and Jin feels obligatory but shipping him with either Jacqui or Takeda doesn't. Not knocking the ship but it ain't really for me.

Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?*

I already answered this in a previous ask lmao. But long story short, the BlackCage fandom (at least the small but loudest percent of them) ruined the ship for me. You already know how I feel about it lol.

ErronJin isn't really ruined for me? It's just more of a "eh, okay" kind of thing.

re: that last hp ask i got

i know i said i wouldn’t be cross-posting my bellamort/dark au/riddle fam headcanons from twitter but i’ve decided to post a lengthy updated masterpost here after all so ENJOY bon apetit

1. see the thing is that 90% of my hcs can’t be described with words bc they’re just.. feelings.. aesthetics.. vibes.. vague scenarios that make me feel some sort of way… the dark au has a certain Feel and i just stick a bunch of domestic concepts in there and shake it all up and that’s it shshsh

2. disclaimer: im like 75% sure my self indulgent ramblings won’t make sense so sorry about that

3. i was fully serious that one time i said on twitter that voldemort’s no.1 priority after taking over the wizarding world was doing sth about his snace (snake face) so yeah. first things first he’s not as fugly in the dark au. as mentioned previously he just looks like mr. ralph and probably wears ornate haute couture power suits

4. the public doesn’t actually know who the augurey is for YEARS… they know whoever it is is voldemort’s second in command and sure there’s rumors that he has an heir but nobody knows it’s delphi. this way she doesn’t have to be reclusive and hide away, she just lives her life, studies and trains, masters the art of dark magic, hangs around town etc, and no one suspects anything bc who would think this tiny super friendly innocent looking girl is the dark lord’s kid — her identity isn’t revealed until she’s deemed Ready to publicly take up her position. and when she is revealed it’s a Big Moment bc she’s a drama queen and lives for attention

5. delphi is taller than bellatrix

6. speaking of bellatrix. she’s presumed dead after the battle of hogwarts which turns out to be a cool bonus for the dark side. any leftover resistance? she’ll take care of that and they’ll never see her coming. tbh this seems a lot cooler in my head bc movie bellatrix would not be stealthy enough to stay hidden for years she would probs trip over something and accidentally commit arson within a few days. but yeah sneaky assassin sounds sexy. plus to be super honest i imagine bella is a teensy bit more collected than in the films... no shade at helena y’all know i would die for her but there are in fact things i would change about her bella. so yeah for a while the only people who know she’s alive aside from her immediate family are probs rod and the malfoys

7. hm so. the malfoys…. much to think about. narcissa did lie to voldemort’s face during the battle so logically he should have killed her the moment he realized she knew harry was alive all along. but this is a soft dark au so let’s pretend bellatrix was like hey dude don’t kill my sister maybe and voldemort was like k. i mean no harm done, harry potter is properly dead in this universe after all

8. but seriously tho. the only reason voldemort didn’t yeet narcissa into a wall was for bella’s sake. he’s nice like that, he probably promised her at one point that he wouldn’t violently murder her family. peak romance

9. delphi is surprisingly close with both her parents although with voldemort it’s more of a mentor-student relationship than a parent-child one bc he’s Like That. growing up it was always bella who insisted they treat delphi more like a child and less like a weapon and voldemort wasn’t always happy about that bc he’s emotionally constipated and also never had a childhood. also he’s, like, evil. so yes, reminding voldemort that delphi was her daughter too sometimes got bella in trouble bc we all know of voldemort’s superiority issues. but no bella didn’t stop insisting that delphi deserved an actual childhood and in the end they compromised like functional adults and delphi turned out pretty well for someone raised by 2 of the most terrifying people alive

10. but yeah that’s not to say voldemort and kid delphi never had soft moments. they did. he even picked her up every once in a while. everyone was surprised, bella most of all. she probably cried in the bathroom later bc the softness overwhelmed her. i’m not sure if i mean that in a sarcastic shitpost kind of way or if she was really moved to tears. y’all decide for yourselves

11. delphi looks very very much like bella but she has tom riddley eyes.. so dark they’re nearly black. and soulless. maybe they even flash red when she’s enraged. and she has very aristocratic very controlled tom riddley mannerisms. it’s not until you piss her off and she goes off the rails that the bella side of her personality kicks in

12. delphi gets along really well with the malfoys (except lucius. she thinks he’s pathetic and likes to tease him. in a friendly way but it’s still harsh. she gets that from her mom) esp scorp. scorp thinks this makes him cool at school bc he gets to fist bump the augurey and not get murdered for it

13. speaking of hogwarts. umbridge is scared shitless of delphi and it’s always a school-wide spectacle when the augurey drops by unexpectedly on official business and umbridge starts stuttering and quivering. scorp sometimes makes a point to approach umbridge and delphi when they’re talking and act all chummy-chummy with his cousin just to make himself look powerful and Cool in front of umbridge and the other students

14. i still don’t know whether voldemort would call delphi ‘delphini’ or just ‘delphi’… i imagine he’s a strict stick-up-his-ass kinda father but who knows. he does call bellatrix ‘bella’ but that’s different i guess

15. but THEN AGAIN he does have a gigantic soft spot for delphi too. maybe he slips up every so often and calls her delphi. i’m literally making this shit up as i go along i’m just smashing my mf keyboard and occasionally glancing at my messy hcs notebook. I TOLD YALL i don’t have solid hcs i just have VIBES and AESTHETICS. the only way you’ll get specific hcs out of me is if you ask very specific questions

16. weirdest brotp is delphi and rodolphus. nobody knows where that came from but they get along so well and it confuses everybody

17. we been knew that bella is batshit crazy and criminally insane or whatever but against all odds she is a surprisingly good mother. she’s always been soft for family (narcissa etc) so it makes sense that she would legit die for delphi. they have this super casual bantery relationship YALL GET ME bella is so proud of delphi she’s literally that “my little baby off to destroy people” meme!!! honestly mother-daughter relationships are my goddamn weakness i would die for the two of them

18. delphi has a gf (underdeveloped oc time!) who, for the longest time, doesn’t know who she is dating bc delphi is obviously not allowed to say. she finds out the truth eventually and she is properly freaked out for a very very long time. and since all of these hcs are stupidly soft we’re just gonna keep making them softer: the gf is terrified of delphi’s parents at first (obvs) but they’re both extremely fond of her (well, bella is, voldemort probs doesn’t care all that much about who delphi is dating so long as she’s not of subpar blood status or secretly spying for the opposition ya know. as long as delphi trusts her he does too)

19. no but really voldemort trusts delphi and bella implicitly. with delphi it’s bc he raised her and he trusts her to be loyal bc she knows no other way, she was meant to be an extension of his power etc. but with bella it’s something he learns over time, to trust her judgement bc despite her many many flaws she’s very perceptive and usually right

20. voldemort probably makes more horcruxes. still haven’t decided how this ties in with the fact that he’s now safely immortal again and neither delphi nor bella are. who knows maybe they all do the do and split their souls. much to think about. feel free to send ur thots and ideas my way

21. ya know im basic and always on my bellamort bs and therefore: as the years go by voldemort warms up to bella. not that he wasn’t already extremely fond of her before but he kicks it up a notch. i mean, he’s already taken over the world so it’s high time to start experimenting with other wilder things like Feelings. 80/90 years old isn’t too late to experience Love or whatever. might as well wake up one day and realize you’re completely and utterly in love with the woman you’ve spent the last 50+ years with whew. LIKE to be fair bella knows him better than anyone — they understand each other, they’re familiar with each other’s likes, dislikes, mannerisms, nervous tics etc etc. let’s be real it freaked voldemort out at first, being vulnerable to any degree (not that he let it show) but it just became so easy to tell her things that it became a natural thing to do. and obvs he trusts her to keep everything between them and never judge him for anything so that’s sweet

22. y’all keep asking me for domestic hcs but what can i possibly say?? imagine literally any domestic scenario ever and just think bellamort and i’ve probably imagined that same scenario before. except its sexier bc the world is dark and evil and they live in a dark gloomy super fancy manor. so we have these 2 goths right but they’re in love but in that casual familiar way YALL GET ME and sometimes they even drink coffee together in the mornings or like. do that thing where Person A returns from work late at night and its dark and raining and Person B is already home just chilling and they don’t even have to talk they just go about their nighttime routine but it’s soft and familiar and COMFORTABLE. i clearly dont have enough softness in my life i just. love domestic scenarios bye

23. i forgot everything else i wanted to write bc i got distracted by domesticity. im also thinking about how voldemort absolutely despises the thought of any pda but he’ll take bella by the wrist in public every so often when he wants to get her attention, or like. put his hand on her back. small things but oh so soft

24. hhhh okay i have a LOT to say about the power fam’s fashion choices but it’s hard to explain without pictures. i have a wholeass ppt presentation but i’m not about to upload 20+ slides to tumblr. but i seriously was not kidding when i said voldemort wears fancy suits and yes i have references. meanwhile delphi is a fan of feathers but mostly goes with lowkey military-style outfits.. she’s practical yet ostentatious. bella sticks to a conservative yet undeniably sexy selection of evil looking dresses.. i should make all of these into pinterest boards hmm

25. controversial opinion but i think delphi knows she and voldemort are half bloods. so does bella but that’s a whole other story, she been knew. anyhow yeah delphi was told the truth bc it was better for her to find out from the source rather than hear rumors from the opposition and begin to distrust the foundations of voldemort’s whole empire and voldemort himself

26. i used to absolutely hate fics where bella would eventually call voldemort by his name but now im like FUCK THAT we don’t do guilty pleasures anymore we just stan ridiculous things and that’s that. one day voldemort had a Thought (shocking, i know) and was like. Hm so we have a wholeass child and we’re basically married maybe bella shouldn’t have to call me My Lord for the rest of her life. BUT ONLY IN PRIVATE. THATS BETWEEN THE TWO OF THEM it’s nobody’s business. It Is Nobody’s Business

27. speaking of marriage. bella and rod got divorced a few years after the battle. it was just a formality tho let’s be real. they remained very close friends tho!!!!!!!! i think that’s an unpopular opinion among bellamort stans but i genuinely believe bella and rod were always close the way best friends or family are ya know. rod really loves bella but as long as she’s happy he’s happy even if it means her fucking the dark lord on the reg or whatever

28. going back to #6 — when the public finally finds out that bella’s alive they obviously start to wonder about her and voldemort and connect the dots re: delphi etc but nobody ever gets any concrete answers bc there’s never any public pda.. any sort of affection is limited to when it’s just the two of them. and obviously it’s not like voldemort gossips about his private life in tabloid interviews or whatnot. ALSO the whole Bella Is Alive reveal isn’t nearly as dramatic as delphi’s big moment.. it’s more discreet and insidious in that way it implies that she was there hiding in plain sight all along. and if the ministry can keep sth this big a secret, what else are they hiding.. ah classic intimidation tactics of an authoritarian regime

I have a platonic hard-on for Aquarius, I guess?

Aries/Taurus: Let Taurus be taciturn, realistic-to-the-point-of-a-parade-rainer, provident (all of which happens by default with these types)… but also affectionate with their Aries protegee (Taurus will always be the mentor in this relationship, no matter what their ages) who is extremely light on the reins and unsolicited warnings, who knows that Aries learns best by experience, and who enjoys seeing Aries race around even if Taurus doesn’t understand it. It’s a glorious bond. (Note: because I procrastinate like hell, I wrote this long before watching the BBC historical series Garrow’s Law. But I forkin’ nailed it!)

Taurus/Pisces: Pisces: ‘I know she doesn’t understand me, but she likes me and lets me be’ (Taurus is stubborn and sometimes unimaginative, but not generally a tyrant.) ‘I can be myself around her.’ Taurus: ‘Damned if I can understand this creature, but she makes sunshine for me and she’s good fun. I’ll trample anyone who tries to trample her.’ This is an especially cute dynamic in families, perhaps with Taurus as a father/sister and Pisces as a daughter/brother. (L.M. Montgomery specialized in this type of relationship.)

Gemini/Cancer: These two will put on the best dinner parties. Both potentially great showmen. Could also do some damage in the world of entertainment — awesome damage. (There is a pitfall here, in that Gemini can wind up really relying on the mothering. It’s even worse if Cancer feels up to supplying it — this can turn codependent very fast. But what’s a great creative partnership without a little danger?) (I don’t know any memorable couples of this sort in fiction, but I suspect 19th-century lit has a legendary example.)

Cancer/Aquarius: Cancer is in for quite a roller-coaster: ultra-independent Aquarius is terrific at not being “managed” (so Cancer has to learn to cut their bullshit) and furthermore loves to experiment quite heartlessly by playing little tricks and pranks just to find out what exaggerated emotions they can get out of Cancer. However, Aquarius is able to take the normal range of Cancerian mood changes quite in stride, giving support (not as much support as Cancer wants, but when is Cancer ever satisfied on that front?) without being in the least overwhelmed… while Cancer has a humorous, full-moon-madcap side to them that Aqua is great at bringing out and appreciating. Chess games and or any mental battles between these two are great fun to watch, because Cancer’s shrewd mind works so indirectly and Aquarius’s ingenious mind is as random as lightning flashes. Much to their own surprise, they are well-matched intellectually, though in complementary ways. In fact, though they can work quite well as friends, they have even more value as a “Foe Yay” pairing. (The dynamic is not far off from Batman and the Joker.)

Leo/Libra: So glorious, so cultured, so pleasure-drenched. A royal partnership, who will swiftly assemble a favored and much-envied court. Not so great romantically, though, since Leo wants more assurance than Libra knows how to give, and furthermore the Lion often wants to mate for life (Libra will break its heart after the adventure runs its course, and compartmentalize the aftereffects quite well). (This pairing is glorious Frenchified sophisticated fairy tale incarnate! Er, and also Elhani.)

Virgo/Scorpio: If the Virgo is the sort that has NOT lost their true vocation to be of service in the pitfall of aggrieved nagging, and if Scorpio is well-developed, these two are so endearing! Virgo takes very very very good care of Scorpio, who (though Scorp hides it better than any Water Sign) needs sympathy so much. And Scorpio will eat alive (and then spit out all chewed, so the offender can suffer longer) anyone who dares to try to take advantage of the vulnerable Virgo. Furthermore, they are both so smart. Virgo’s matchless analytical mind, coupled with Scorpio’s superb intuition, makes them an investigative dream team. I would watch a show with them curing diseases together. (Wait, I did. Wasn’t that House?)

Capricorn/Aquarius: Not at all a good sexual union, unless it’s one hell of a May/December romance (Capricorn gets more flexible in old age, finally getting around to being a little childlike for the first time in their life, while Aquarius has a distressing tendency to get more dogmatic as they get on). But as a friendship, business partnership, or particularly as relatives who… give each other a little space… these two can be pretty damn cute. They’ll be bickering all the time, and both better be strong enough to have a lot of love in their hearts, but granted all this, you never know what they may create together. Capricorn will have to give up her white-knuckled grip on the reins… that’s where the space comes in… but Cap is a born executive. If she hangs around Aquarius long enough to appreciate some of Aqua’s genius inspirations, she may be the very person to put some flesh (and pour the concrete, and hire the personnel, and pay the taxes) to make a Uranian dream come true. (Saturn is the lord of Time, and his child is well capable of speeding up the fruition of ideas that are supposed to be ahead of their time. Uranus’s child can dream the dream, but he can’t do that, not alone!) These two are a union of vision and realization.

I don't ship ScorBus. Like I literally can't stand it I totally ship their BrOTP like Scorp is the Hermione to Albus' Harry, the relationship that defies all definitions but I definitely do not, ever ship them in a romantic sense. There's so much fuel for it so I can definitely see it but something about it just seems so... predictable like, we're just recycling what we see with Drarry over and over again with their sons and using them as the literal model for "what could have been" and I truly don't want to see any of the next gen as photocopies of their parents. Bc that's exactly what we're doing and I just CAN'T.

some thought I want to add bc I'm a bit emotional about them too:

Arki and Ryder share a special bond. One that is a bit hard to explain without going into detail. But so much is said: Ry and Arki share a lot together, yet they are different. Only they are able to relate to each other's anger and pain they both feel inside. Once they talked the friendship grows so tight that Ryder will let Arki into 'his family' (the team), let him be 'his friend' and sees him like 'his brother'. Arki had a hard time to become friends with Ry. The opening up 'gave him reason' enough, to be 'his fellow' and make everything right, get rid of both their pain and to fulfill Ryder's most wanted wish: to be free and have his own will again. Ofc Ryder will do the very same for Arki. @nervouswizardcycle and I will do our best to get it into written form and shown in vp in future! So stay tuned.
