Joey B Blurbs: Strawberry Acai
Tumblr media
————————————————————————-
Summary: Joe gets you back after all of those pranks you pulled on him. It doesn't end in his favor though…
Warnings: None, fluff, unserious/funny, pranks
Pairing: Joe Burrow x reader
Imagine universe: Into The Mystic
————————————————————————-
*December 27th, 2023 - 21 weeks pregnant*
You and Joe sat on the couch, unwinding after a long day of Christmas festivities in Athens at his parent's house.
Tyson and Miles slept in the car the entire ride home, so when you two arrived, Joe carried them upstairs and put them in their beds.
Before you guys left Robin and Jimmy’s, you had put the boys’s pajamas on, already expecting them to crash in the car.
Now, Joe loved his family, don't get me wrong, but usually after a get-together with them, he wouldn't want to be around a lot of people for at least a whole day.
In other words, he'd keep his circle limited to you, Tyson, and Miles.
Currently, Joe was cuddled up to you while talking to the baby in your stomach.
Joe was adamant that his baby girl would know her father's voice as soon as she met the outside world.
You loved being a third wheel in their conversations, finding the way Joe’s tone went up an octave while talking in a baby voice to be cute.
But unbeknownst to you, Joe was planning something not-so-innocent.
He had a prank up his sleeve.
Joe was fed up with being on the receiving end of all your little pranks, and now it was his turn to be the prankster.
A few minutes ago, when Joe was “using the bathroom” he was actually on DoorDash ordering your favorite Starbucks drink.
But it was for himself.
That was the prank.
Joe was proud of himself for already having your go-to order memorized because it came in handy today.
Baby girl’s conversation with her daddy was interrupted by a slight knock on the door.
Joe had specified not ringing the doorbell because there were sleeping kids.
You watched him stand up and walk to the door. Joe seemed calm, cool, and collected while you were slightly worried about who or what was knocking on your door at nine o'clock at night.
When Joe opened the door he took a few steps onto the porch and bent over to pick something up.
He walked back into the house, shut the door, and pulled the bag out from behind his back to reveal that it was Starbucks.
“Joey! Did you get me a refresher?” - you grinned
Joe pulled the drink out of the bag and sat back down in his spot next to you on the couch.
Without saying a word Joe moved the cup to his lips and took a slow sip.
You laughed when you saw his face contort slightly, Strawberry Acai refreshers can be sour sometimes.
“Can I have it now?” - you
Joe shook his head no and continued drinking. He tried and failed to not make a face at the sourness.
Now that 1/4 of the venti cup was empty, you realized what he was doing.
With a longing glance, side-eye style, Joe took in your slightly sad expression.
Fuck, he made his pregnant wife sad.
“Wait, shit, I'm sorry. Here, you can have it. I was just trying to prank you, not make you sad.” - Joe
He handed you the drink and you apprehensively took a small sip, trying to mess with him.
“Mama… I’m sorry. I'll order another one if you want. Want a cake pop? Or two?” - Joe
You giggled as you watched him frantically get on his phone to find the DoorDash app.
“Babe, I’m okay. Just this drink is fine.” - you
“Are you sure? I can order another one!” - Joe
“Joe, it's fine, I promise. Was this your way of getting back at me?” - you laughed
“Yes, but I failed miserably. You have too big of an effect on me for me to prank you.” - Joe
His comment made you smile and cuddle back up to him, your head leaning into his shoulder as his hand found its place on your bump.
“I think we should leave the pranking in this marriage up to me...” - you
“Hell, that's for sure.” - Joe scoffed before laughing
You spent the rest of the night cuddled up with Joe as you sipped on your refresher.
——
The next morning, you'd wake up alone because Joe was working out in the home gym.
You immediately went downstairs to start breakfast for your three boys and yourself, and your heart warmed when you saw what was on the counter.
It was a small bouquet of different colored tulips, a venti refresher, and a cookie already out of the package sitting on the paper.
There was also a small note next to it and a grin spread across your face when you read it.
Sorry again for that prank, Mama. I hope the baby is craving a chocolate chip cookie this morning, and I also hope this makes for a good apology.
Love you, Joe.
You let out a content sigh as you reached for the cookie and took a bite, running your hand over your bump as you did so.
“You’ve got one good daddy, princess.” - you

Chapter Eight: Devil Inside Me
There’s a devil inside of me, and he’s holding on. And I don’t know if he’s staying, or for how long.  Pulling at my heart-strings, kicking in my mind. And I’m sad to say he’s got me thinking, about the bad parts of my life.  — Devil Inside Me, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes
Tommy was a dead man, walking through a life he knew he shouldn’t be walking, breathing an air that he shouldn’t be breathing. The realization that he hadn’t in fact died, or that he was actually going to go home, hadn’t even set in until hours after he stepped out of the train station the day they all came home.
Well, not all of them came home. The faces of those he left with, who he fought with, who hadn’t been “as lucky” as him were always there, flashing just behind his eyelids with each blink.
Ghosts of a fate that should have been his.
He knew he wasn’t the same Tommy Shelby who’d left those handful of years ago. None of the men who were returning with him were. He could see it in Polly’s eyes the moment she saw them — a relief that was immediately replaced with a new coat of worry.
Looking around as he stepped off the train, he was surrounded by men of all ages embracing their loved ones, crying, weeping. He watched John cradle his wife’s face as he kiss her, his children surrounding his legs. He watched Ada hug Arthur, then Freddie, before pulling him in for an extra tight hug. Tommy should have felt that same level of relief that he could see on his brothers and best mate’s faces, to be walking on English soil.
But he still felt like a dead man. And it was all because of her.
The first face Tommy saw as he stepped off the train was hers — the same face he saw while he laid in the mud. Another ghost, standing amongst the sea of people.
The girl seemed just as surprised to see him as he’d been, and in a moment she was dropping her head and turning to leave. Tommy started to move forward faster, determined to reach her before she disappeared again. But by the time he breached the crowd in front of him, she was gone, and the cries of welcome from Polly, Ada, Finn, Martha, and John’s kids pulled him out of his odd trance. But still, in the back of his mind he wrestled with whether she’d really been there in the flesh this time, or if she were just another vision.
Riding back into Birmingham, into Small Heath, and then walking down Watery Lane felt like a dream. His brothers and mates wanted to go to the Garrison first thing, but Tommy just wasn’t ready. After years of living in the trenches, the world around him felt very loud, very crowded, and he just needed a moment of peace in his old bedroom.
Polly had kept his room the same as when he left. The clothes and sheets were recently washed, she’d told them on their way in. Tommy wondered if he could even fit in those old clothes of his anymore, instead choosing to pull out a shirt to sleep in from his luggage, breathing in the familiar scent.
As he dug around further in his bag, he found the medals they’d given him. Acts of heroism and gallantry, the voices of those who’d presented them to him echoed through his mind as he scoffed. He picked them up and threw them in a drawer, then laid down on his bed. A few minutes later, he sat up and dropped his head into his hands, rubbing his eyes with the palms of his hands. He could hear the cheers outside, the music, the merriment and excitement of the war end, of husbands and fathers and sons returning home.
Suddenly furious, he tore the drawer open and grabbed the medals and his coat, barreling out of his room and into the streets.
“Tommy!” A female voice he barely recognized called out to him from the outside of the Garrison.
He turned in time to Lizzie Stark wave a handkerchief at him, starting to walk his way. Ignoring her, he turned away and continued to walk, knowing that would be enough response to keep her from following as he walked down to the bridge. He waited at the ledge for a moment to see if anyone had followed him, but the music and merriment remained behind him as he pulled out a cigarette and looked down into the watery darkness of the Cut.
The canal always made him think about his mother — another ghost in his life — and he wondered for a moment how much better it would be if he joined her. He wasn’t supposed to be here anyway, how easy would it be to just lean his weight forward.
Right now, he reasoned that there were only two futures at play for him. He already saw the effects the war had on some of the other survivors, some of his comrades — the Flanders Blues.
Danny had nightmares, and now it was starting to effect his waking hours, taking him ages to come back even after he’d already awoken. And there were others who were suffering far worse — like Barney, who had what they were now referring to as shell-shock, and Tommy feared would never be able to shake it and wondered if he’d ever leave the institution they’d admitted him in.
Even now, Tommy could close his eyes and still hear the guns, the shouts, of shovels and picks breaking into the earth. He could feel the ever looming threat of breaking through the mud and finding the enemy — of always being so close to death.
He couldn’t even imagine a world where the things he’d seen would ever fade from his memory. The gore, the blood, the flesh. The smell of burning, of gas, of fire, of dirt, of blood.
Whether those who’d died had found their way to a better place, Tommy no longer believed such a place existed. There was only a hell, and he’d volunteered to enter.
The medals burned in his hand as he thought about all those ghosts — his friends, his comrades, even his enemies. They were gone, and he was here.
He thought back to what he’d said to his brothers and comrades after they found out the war had officially ended. That this was their second life, their bonus life. Even then, Tommy wasn’t sure if he actually believed what he’d said in the throws of victory, of finding out that they weren’t going to die after accepting their fates. But now, standing over the Cut, Tommy knew that the only option for him was the second option.
No one was ever going to put him or his family in the mud again. That one day, he’d build his family up so high that not even the King himself would be able to touch them. That was the only way they’d ever truly be able to find safety and peace.
Lifting the medals into the street light, he read the engraving one final time before letting them slip through his fingers. He closed his eyes until he heard the expected splash.
What he hadn’t expected to hear was a person exclaiming below the bridge.
“Oi!” Tommy shouted, suspicion that he’d been followed creeping into his paranoid mind. “Someone down there?”
Not waiting for a response, Tommy was already off the bridge and walking toward the underpass when he heard a woman respond.
“You almost took me out,” the voice quipped, the body still leaning over the waters edge near where the waves were still bouncing.
When the body straightened and turned toward him, he instantly recognized it.
It was her — it was you.
He breathed in deep, remembering his lit cigarette, and for a moment he had the thought that he’d actually jumped.
Tommy could tell by the look on your face that you recognized him as well, and that the fact that you were standing there together was just as a surprise to you as it was for him.
“You were at the train station,” he tested, moving closer to the street light to get a better view and hope that it would prompt you to follow suit. Which, you did.
The last two times he’d seen you felt different than this. Where before, even at the train station, you’d felt ethereal, otherworldly. Now, in this moment, you felt real, your body fidgeting uncomfortably as your eyes moved everywhere but refused to meet his own. He took the opportunity to get a better look at the mystery woman.
The first thing he noticed was how different you looked now than you had in his vision. You were dressed in something similar to what his sister had been wearing earlier that evening. And while your hair seemed slightly in disarray and face looked flushed, you looked just as beautiful as you had the first time he’d seen you.
His vision flashed before him, and he recalled the different version of you he’d seen. In his vision, you had on considerably less clothes, the recollection of your long, bare legs had him moving his eyes down your body.
When his eyes reached back up to your face, your eyes finally met his again and a blush crept across your cheeks. Part of him wondered if you could read his thoughts.
“I was,” you finally replied, your voice a little stronger than he’d expected. You motioned toward the water. “And you were throwing some medals into the river, yeah?”
Sobering up, Tommy felt his back straighten a little at the notion. He hadn’t expected you to notice what exactly he’d thrown into the water. He narrowed his eyes, took a long drag of his cigarette, and made some comment about how the fish could have them.
“Don’t think the fish’ll have much use for them,” you replied back, and he didn’t miss the way your eyes wrinkled and mouth flinched, as if holding back a smile at your own joke.
Despite himself, the sight actually amused him enough to breathe out a shrug. “Seems we have that in common, then.”
Not prompted at all by the thought of your legs from his vision, Tommy began to wonder how difficult it would be to persuade you to join his bed. It’d been a while since the last time he’d slept with someone.
Your voice snapped him out of his thoughts, and he realized you’d indicated that you were leaving. He didn’t want you to leave though.
“You a whore?” He asked, reasoning that if he could pay you to stay with him, it’d be the easiest way to keep you from disappearing again.
It wasn’t a crazy question. There weren’t many women walking around alone, at night, in Birmingham, who weren’t offering some intimate services. He knew it was where his unmarried brother and mates would be ending their nights tonight. Hell, one of them was probably giving Lizzie the attention he’d denied her at this very moment.
He didn’t have anything against prostitutes, it was just another business transaction in his opinion. Plus, it was an easy way to have sex without the mess of feelings.
But the way you’d rounded on him, planting your feet just a step away from him as your face contorted into something different than the one he’d just seen, his opinion on the question changed.
You dove into a rant asking what the hell was wrong with him.
“No, I’m not a whore!” You’d finally said. “But that doesn’t mean I don’t support a woman’s choice to sell her services to men who will pay if it means making enough to survive in this God awful existence!”
Tommy chuckled, realizing that the two of you felt the same way about the profession. “So, you aren’t a whore, but you respect ‘em, is that it?”
You rolled your eyes and the sight made him want to smile again. He reasoned that this woman before him had no idea who he was — no person in Small Heath outside of his own family dared to talk to him like this, much less roll their eyes at him without the fear of his blade cutting through them, male or female. You were fearless, it seemed — or stupid. Either way, for the moment it intrigued him.
“Everyone sells part of themselves for something eventually. Sometimes it’s a woman laying on her back for a man. Sometimes it’s a man crawling through the mud for a King.”
Your comment made Tommy shift immediately from amused and intrigued to angry.
No, you weren’t afraid of him, but you should be.
His eyes narrowed as he took a step closer to you, straightening his back and shoulders, expecting you to flinch. But you didn’t, and he couldn’t figure out why the refusal to back away or even break eye contact made him want to kiss you rather than punish you.
“You should go home,” he decided to say, choosing to soften his voice instead of raise it. Despite his best efforts, he couldn’t stop himself from scanning down your face to your lips. “The next man you meet alone, under a bridge, at night, might not be as accepting to your ideologies as I am.” He darted his tongue out to lick his own lips when you pulled your bottom lip in between your teeth. While he was willing to let you get away with what you said to him this time, he still wanted to make you realize the vulnerable state you were in, how much power he really had. “If he says you’re a whore, he might treat you like one in spite of your pretty words.”
He watched you finally react, a shiver running through you as your eyes met his again. He noticed the blush on your cheeks deepen as you took a step back, telling him you appreciated the advice before a strong breeze caused you to wrap your arms around your body.
Tommy hadn’t even felt the cold since the minute he laid eyes on you, the adrenaline from marching down to the Cut and then finally getting to speak to you had his blood boiling. Without even realizing it, Tommy was shrugging his coat off his own shoulders and offering it to you, who hesitated slightly before accepting it. The sight of the oversized coat hanging around your shoulders made his chest tighten. He couldn’t figure out why it looked so right on you.
Before he realized it, you were stepping away from him toward the steps of the bridge. His eyes met yours again, and something shifted behind them. Before he could ask, you welcomed him home and turned to finally disappear into the darkness, leaving him alone by the water’s edge again.
Tommy didn’t know why he’d had a vision of you months ago. He didn’t know why he had met you tonight, or how it seemed you also knew about him. But he did know one thing — he was going to find out.
——
Despite his initial internal promise to find out more about the mystery woman, Tommy found his attention otherwise occupied as he threw his energy into building back up the family name and reputation. And despite Polly’s insistence that they take a few days to get back in the swing of things, Tommy spent all his free time reacquainting himself with the family books, starting with the furthest back and moving his way forward. He was happy to discover that true to her letters, Polly had been keeping the betting business going with no qualms. Even with the amount of men in the war, there was enough steady flow of cash to keep everything afloat.
The family business side of things hadn’t been as lucky. While still viable thanks in part to members of their gang who hadn’t enlisted, there had definitely been a drop in income. Tommy made a note of all the people he was going to need to visit.
He could feel Polly hovering as he read through the books throughout the days. Having grown up with his aunt practically raising him, he knew how overprotective she was over her kin, so part of him thought nothing of it at first.
He was nearly done with all the books, finally getting halfway through this year’s ledgers, when he discovered the real reason for Polly’s hovering.
“Polly!” he shouted from his office, standing up and grabbing both books he’d been looking at before moving into the kitchen. He threw the first book open on the table in front of his aunt and pointed to the margins. “Who the fuck’s handwriting is this?”
“Tommy—“ Polly began, moving quickly to close the doors to the bustling betting den.
“Who the fuck’s handwriting is this, hmm?” He tapped against the book pages harder, leaning against the table as Polly closed the other doors, concealing them from any eyes or ears that may have followed Tommy’s tirade. “Fuckin’ answer me, Pol.”
“I hired someone, alright Thomas?” her voice answered softly in contrast to his volume as she shook her head, waving him off. “You didn’t expect after all this time that we wouldn’t bring in new help.”
Tommy threw a second book on top of the first and pointed again at the same handwriting in the margins. “And what is the same fucking handwriting doin’ in the family book, eh?”
Polly held his gaze.
“Did an estranged family member show up while we were away? Perhaps a bastard looking for a father, or a long lost brother?”
She didn’t answer, her eyes narrowing at her nephew’s condescending questions as he went on, taking her silence as a no.
“Okay then, how ‘bout a new uncle? Did you get married and you just forgot to bloody mention it, Pol? Is there a new last name we should be calling ‘ya?”
“No,” Polly answered straight, crossing her arms defensively as Tommy rose up.
“No,” Tommy repeated as a mock and his body mirrored hers, crossing his own arms. “So, there is a non-family member auditing our family books then, yeah?”
“Yes,” Polly answered again.
Tommy took a deep breath, trying not to let his aunt’s stubbornness rile him up. There was information she was keeping from him, that she’d been keeping from him, and he wanted to know everything immediately.
“Go on, Pol,” he went on, his voice still even despite its rise a few moments ago. “Tell me what you were thinking.”
Polly held Tommy’s gaze for a moment before finally relenting, taking a deep breath that matched his own.
“She’s a friend of Ada’s—“
“Fucking hell—“ Tommy’s eyes shot upward as he felt his entire body groan at the mention of his sister.
He loved Ada, but the girl had never shown any interest in their business, either business, her entire life. In fact, the girl had never taken anything serious, so he couldn’t imagine the kind of company she chose.
“She’s smart, Thomas,” Polly insisted, the use of his full name showing her seriousness. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a piece of paper, handing it to him. “Here, see for yourself. That’s a list of everyone who has tried to steal or skim money from us since she started.”
Tommy opened the paper, and immediately recognized most of the names. Two had been men he’d hired himself years ago.
“It started with the betting books. Then I gave her one of our books just to see if she could spot anything. She didn’t know what it meant, just told her to cross check names and numbers.”
Tommy took another deep breath, “If she’s so smart, how do you know she didn’t know what it meant, eh? How do you know you can trust her?”
“Ask around,” she offered. “You’ll come to the same conclusion I did.”
“Where is she now?”
“I told her to stay away until you made your decision.”
“What decision is that? Whether to invite her back or kill her?” Polly’s eyes narrowed, and the reaction actually surprised him. He scoffed, “Really, ‘ave you gone soft on us now, Pol?”
She held her glare before raising her hand. “Just— just look into her first. Do that, and I’ll tell you everything I’ve learned. But, be discreet. Her employment was and still is a secret. Plenty of men were angry when we started taking care of that list.”
Tommy noticed some of the names next to the list had symbols next to them, understanding the meaning behind them. The two men he’d brought in both had black stars next to theirs.
“Any threats?” Without realizing, Tommy began to take a closer look at Polly, searching for any new cuts, scars, or faded bruises.
She scoffed, smiling as she shook her head. “Nothing we couldn’t handle.”
Tommy took a deep breath, taking another look at the list. This really was impressive, and he was curious how exactly the girl had come to discover all of this. He’d paid close attention to her notes in the margins of the books and could already believe Polly’s insistence of her intelligence.
But that didn’t mean she was trustworthy. This wouldn’t be the first time they’d been double crossed or infiltrated by an enemy or copper.
“Fine. You’ve got a deal,” he finally said, folding the list up and putting it in his own pocket. “Just tell me her name.”
“Y/N.”
——
It didn’t take long for Tommy to find out where this Y/N lived and worked. Not only was the number of people moving into Small Heath minimal, but especially young women.
Tommy had been avoiding the pubs since he came home, he still wasn’t ready to dive back into the crowds. But he heard the rumors of a pretty, out-of-town barmaid at the Garrison, and his curiosity finally won over.
He thought his chances would be better if he went over early, and despite being gone for a few years, the old pub hadn’t changed a bit. Which meant, he knew exactly which nook and cranny to hide inconspicuously while the afternoon bustle began to ramp up.
So far, it was just Harry tending the bar, the sitting area still sparse enough for one person to manage. Tommy watched as a couple men filtered in and out of the snug, and an idea began to formulate as he waited.
He’d always liked the Garrison — it was conveniently closer to the house than any of the other pubs in the area, and it was slowly becoming the heart of the town for the everyday man. Presumably, all were welcome, even the men who preferred pubs that catered more toward the commies or Fenians.
And he liked Harry. The man had never treated he or his family any different for being gypsies — Tommy chalked that up to him coming from Irish travelers himself. Even after Harry began to pay the Shelbys for their protection, he’d still treated them without some of the passive aggressive bitterness that some other patrons held. There was always a layer of respect, of common sense, and even a hint of humor that Tommy always appreciated.
Even now, when Harry found him sitting in the dark corner of the bar with his paper raised like a shield, he hadn’t questioned and didn’t bring attention, an unspoken understanding it seemed and instead simply dropped a tumbler down in front of him and kept an eye on its fill level. And as if the man needed any more of a reason, Harry had fought in the war, up until he was sent home, and Tommy respected any man who fought for his country.
Yes, Tommy liked Harry, and decided in that moment to make the Garrison the Shelbys official pub.
He was beginning to formulate the deal proposal when the office door to his right opened and a body emerged. He pulled back up his racing paper, lowering it just enough so he could take in the backside form of a young woman as the door closed behind her and she walked toward the bar. He tried to listen as the women sat a book on the counter in front of Harry. The owner scratched his head as he looked at the page and shrugged. Tommy could read Harry’s lips as he shoved the book back toward the woman and told her he trusted her. She grabbed it and practically skipped away from the counter, obviously happy with the outcome of the exchange, and turned back toward the office door.
It was you.
The girl from his vision, from the train station, from the Cut.
You were Y/N.
Tommy felt his blood run cold at the realization and froze as you continued to look down at the book and walked right back into the office. You hadn’t seen him this time, and for that he was grateful.
Because right now, he was angry.
Who the hell were you, and what right did you have invading his space like this? First his mind, then his home, and now his business? Who the hell did you think you were?
His blood turned from ice to a boil as he stood up and stormed out of the front door. Tommy could feel Harry’s gaze follow him with a silent question that he knew better than to ask.
Tommy’s feet took him to the person who led him there: his aunt.
Polly was near the fire, stacking some of the logs from the shed in preparation for a cold night. It was mid-December now, and the days were growing shorter than ever. All outdoor chores had to be done before supper and Polly always liked to get everything squared up and out of the way before she had to begin.
She heard Tommy storm in through the front door, she could always identify the sound of his footsteps over his brothers, even at a young age. He was heavy in the heels and he was always in a hurry, walking with his shoulders forward. Polly took it as a sign that he would be a leader one day, always firm in his resolve and destined to forever chase a dream bigger than himself.
“Welcome back,” she said evenly, already feeling his attitude before he even made it through the doorway.
Tommy didn’t answer her, only moved to close the door behind him, and then the betting doors, despite the house being quiet at the moment.
Polly wiped her hands on her skirt and rose to look at her nephew, the sight bringing a crease to her brow.
Tommy was always composed, the number of times she hadn’t seen him so could be counted on one hand. But now, in front of her, she could add another count to her list as she reached for him.
“Tommy,” she started calmly, urging him to sit before taking the seat next to him. She was trying to decipher if his expression was one of anger, shock, or something worse. “Tell me, what is it?”
His eyes finally flicked up to his aunt, and the anger returned. “Y/N.”
Polly took in a deep breath, more of the picture starting to fall in place as her back straightened. “You saw her?”
He nodded.
“You talked to her?”
He shook his head.
Polly licked her lips and tightened them. “Why not?”
Tommy ran a hand over his face and assessed his aunt. He was contemplating whether he should tell her his vision. Polly was more in tune to visions and spirits than he was. And despite his outward skepticism of most things religious or religious adjacent, there was something deep within him that was never able to fully dismiss some of the mysteries that came from the Romani people. That’s why he was always respectful toward old gypsy women, and took extra caution to his aunt’s warnings. Same with Curly, his Uncle Charlie, and even his mother back in the day. Whether it was real or just something familiar from his upbringing, he knew without a doubt his aunt could have some insight into all this.
Hell, she probably already had some insight. It wasn’t lost on him that his aunt often knew things that he didn’t. And while usually that was something he trusted to use to the family’s advantage, right now he wanted to know everything.
“We’ve already met,” he decided to begin there, not totally lying but not divulging the whole truth yet. “The night we returned, down by the Cut. It wasn’t exactly the best of introductions.”
“Oh Thomas, tell me you didn’t —“
His brow creased at her response, noticing the look on her face and realizing what she must have thought. He breathed out of his nose, “Nothing like that, Pol. We just talked. I did ask if she was a whore and she nearly pushed me in the water.”
The corner of Polly’s lips flew into a smirk as she tried to refrain from chuckling. It was difficult though, she could only imagine what that must have looked like.
“Tell me what you know,” he continued, back to business. “This girl keeps showing up in my life and I want to know why.”
Polly took a deep breath, her smile turning serious as she leaned back in her chair. He wondered if she caught his use of the word ‘keeps’ and would push on it.
She didn’t, for now at least. “I told you I would tell you once you found out more for yourself.”
“I’ll keep looking into her — discreetly,” he added when he saw she was about to remind him of her secrecy. “But right now I know enough and if I don’t hear what you have to say it might make things worse.”
The anger he was feeling before crept back up. He thought about facing you again in this state, and truly he wasn’t sure how he’d react. Part of him believed he’d just torture you into telling what you wanted from him, who you were working for, what your game was. The other part of him believed he’d fling you over his shoulder and bring you to his bedroom. Both of which would be unhelpful to his current situation.
Something bigger was going on here. He could feel it. And he wanted to know what.
Polly was watching him during his internal battle and could sense his edge. She took a deep breath before nodding. “I believe she’s gypsy,” she stated simply. “Maybe not bred, but by blood.”
Tommy hadn’t expected Polly’s big insight to be this. He restrained himself from scoffing. “That’s it? Just because she might be gypsy you think she’s trustworthy to be privy to our family books?”
Yes, Tommy and his family came from a long line of Romani blood. But that didn’t mean it held any stock with him. Outside of his own family and extended family, other gypsies would be some of the last people Tommy would trust.
“I think she has a gift, Thomas,” Polly continued seriously. “The first day I saw her, the day she met Ada, she predicted the end of the war months before it happened. To the day.”
Tommy’s brow creased. “One correct guess and suddenly she’s a fortune teller?”
“It’s not just that. There was gossip when she first arrived. Mrs. Tully was chirping about a batty new tenant who finally arrived in the empty lodgings they’d been keeping. Said she acted like she’d been living under a rock all her life — didn’t even act like she knew there was a war going on. Strange that a girl who barely knew about the war could guess the exact date of its end, isn’t it?”
Tommy made a mental note to add Mrs. Tully to his list of people to question. “I suppose. But still doesn’t sound concrete to me.”
“Perhaps, but there’s one piece that solidified my guess,” Polly replied, straightening in her seat. “She has a tattoo on her back — I only caught a glimpse but I’m sure of what I saw. I’ve seen the symbol before, once, when I was a girl. The crest of the Delphi family.”
Tommy’s shoulders squared at the name. He, like most gypsies, were familiar with the name and the crest. It was one of the oldest Romani families still around, and there was a reason for that. Their age and their affinity for fortune telling deepened their pockets enough to provide them with muscle and protection. They were ruthless when wronged, and their leader was said to unleash unimaginable curses on her enemies.
And according to Polly — you, his mystery woman, had their symbol branded on your back.
He ran through the possibilities of what this could mean in his head. You could have been a family member who ran away, or a slave to one of the leaders. Polly had mentioned she didn’t think you were brought up in the gypsy life, and from the little bit of interaction he had with you, he was inclined to agree. There had to be a connection between this woman, this family, and his dream. Which was beginning to feel more and more like a curse, or an omen to stay away.
But then, why did every instinct fuel him to get closer, to find out more?
He got up from the kitchen table and began walking back toward the pub. He ignored Polly’s call behind him, obviously worried he’d do something irrational.
But Tommy was beginning to form a plan, a battle strategy, if you will. To defeat the enemy, you had to know the enemy. And whether Y/N fell in that definition for him or not, he needed to gather as much as he could before he made any call.
Over the next day, he managed to speak with Harry while avoiding you. It was easier to ask about you in the pretense of dangling a business proposal, claiming that he needed to trust his employees as much as the owner when it came to matters like this.
“Oh, ‘ya shouldn’t ‘ave a problem there,” Harry had told him.
“Forgive me for askin’, Harry, it’s just you don’t normally give jobs to women. Especially pretty women.”
Harry breathed out of his nose before waving his hand dismissively. “Findin’ anyone to work when I got back was bloody impossible, mate. And when I finally could find help, even if they was a girl, they’d end up spending more time makin’ their own money on the side, if’ya know what I mean.” Harry scoffed, shaking his head. “But let me tell ‘ya, Y/N’s been a dream since she showed up.”
Tommy’s back tightened at the use of phrase.
“She came in with all these ideas and improvements, ‘processes’ she calls ‘em. I tell ‘ya, I ‘aven’t met a more educated woman before in my life. I fought the changes at first, but dammit I can’t fight against less waste and more money. Oh, and don’t worry — I made sure she wasn’t a prostitute. Asked her ‘for I hired her.”
The corner of Tommy’s cheek rose slightly at the comment, curious if he’d been the latest of a long line of people asking her the same question.
“And you’re sure?” Tommy asked, just to scratch a curiosity. “Not even recreationally?”
Despite himself, Tommy couldn’t keep out the thought of your blushed cheeks down at the Cut, the way you pulled your bottom lip between your teeth, and the bareness of your legs in his vision. He adjusted in his seat before forcing his mind to stop before it went too far, noting to make an appointment with Lizzie the next time he saw her.
Harry shrugged, oblivious to Tommy’s internal struggle. “She’s nice to the men at the bar, enough to keep the place calm and in good spirits. But I’ve ‘eard her turn down enough of ‘em to know she’s not interested in making an extra bob like that. Only once did I ‘ave to throw a man out for trying anything on her, and that was after she’d already damaged his boys herself. After that, the men seemed to get the message. She’s pretty though, and a good barmaid — think that’s why they keep comin’ back.”
Tommy breathed a short breath of amusement out of his nose at the thought of you fighting. Granted, he’d seen enough fights between Ada and John to know that women would hit where ever they could to get the upper hand in combat, and he didn’t blame her.
“I promise ‘ya, Tom,” Harry had continued talking. “You can trust her. Whatever business you want to do with me, Y/N could only make it better.”
“Give me a week to make my own assessment,” Tommy replied. They ironed out the stipulations of how Tommy could make such an assessment and agreed to keep it secret. He could sense Harry’s hesitation, and he wondered if it was out of protectiveness or something else.
But eventually, a handshake sealed the agreement and Tommy promised to have the deal finalized and ready by the time he finished.
A little more than a week later, and Tommy came to three absolute conclusions about you.
First: you had a secret. He could tell predominately by the way you talked to people and by the way you carried yourself when you thought people were looking. It wasn’t obvious — in fact, it’s subtlety was one of the more glaring identifiers to someone who was looking as closely as Tommy was.
Second: you weren’t a threat. At least, not to his family or their operation. Aside from the Garrison, your lodgings, the local grocer, and the bath house that he knew Ada frequented, you didn’t have any odd routes that previous coppers narcs had taken in the past. Y/N hardly had a life outside of the pub, Tommy realized, and found it strange. You didn’t go out with any men or friends, the way other women your age did. Hell, even Ada managed to leave the house at least twice a week to go out with her friends. But not you.
You were especially less threatening when he caught you on the first night you were closing up the pub since he began his investigation. Everything was going as expected, until about an hour into the clean up when you began to sing. From his spot (which he’d managed to obtain permission from Harry to watch from with the promise that he wouldn’t do anything unsavory or harmful) he could see and watch as you sang some foreign song and danced around frivolously with your broomstick.
It was hard to imagine you as some nefarious mastermind after watching you slip on a spot of tobacco spit on the floor while extending your arm in front of you and clasping your hand together, then jumping in the air as you shook your fist while singing some repetitive salutations to an invisible audience.
That had actually caused him to laugh, something he hadn’t done genuinely and wholeheartedly since returning to Birmingham.
The last conclusion Tommy made while watching you was the oddest, he thought.
You didn’t smoke. At all.
He didn’t know anyone who didn’t smoke. Hell, even Finn had been caught smoking a handful of times since the brothers returned. And he was ten years old.
Tommy chalked the last observation up to the air of posh-ness he sensed you possessed. He felt strangely drawn to it, and after your odd drinking game after he finally approached you did it only increase.
He still couldn’t quite get a read on you. There was an innocence he could see about you, especially when it came to your understanding of who he was and his place in this world. On the other hand, your eyes held a heavy weight to them that warned him not to underestimate you. That there was wisdom mixed with the innocence that he couldn’t quite detangle.
He’d gauged your reaction to his reveal that he’d dreamed about you. You’d been genuinely surprised, though that hadn’t brought him much reassurance. If anything, it made him more frustrated by the series of events, especially when he had to use every ounce of resistance not to kiss you.
You'd given him all the signs — hell, he probably could have bed you that night if he’d asked to walk you to your bedroom. But you weren’t just some random woman or a prostitute. He’d asked you to officially work again for their company, for their family. He couldn’t be flippant with his more primitive instincts with you.
Plus, if there was something more going on here, something deeper, he wanted to make sure he had all the answers before he made himself too vulnerable. He had not only himself, but his family to think about.
After he left you at Mrs. Tully’s, he began his search for Johnny Dogs, determined that some kind of explanation had to be found in the Delphi camp.
But now, you and him were here. And Tommy felt just as confused and frustrated as he had when they first met.
Just get through the night, Tommy told himself as he led a freaked out you toward the jovial crowd of gypsies dancing around the bon fire. The time for secrets must end.

Characters: Sully family x reader, Neteyam x reader, Jake x reader, Neteyiri x reader, Lo’ak x reader, platonic, fem-reader
Genre: Domestic fluff, fluff
Warning: none :)
Summary: Family days are something important for the Sully’s. So, when they are given a day free of the responsibilities as leaders, they spend the day together as a family.
Word count: 1, 395
Translation : Ma’evi = My child
Tumblr media
————————————————————————
It was a bright, sunny day when Neytiri and Jake took you out. These types of days were rare because of how busy both Jake and Neytiri were with clan duties, Jake is the Olo'eyktan after all. So, because of that Jake and Neytiri wanted to let you choose where they’ll be exploring today. Last time you all went swimming in the river at eclipse and Jake even taught you how to fish for the first time.
But today, you were quite content with running through the tropical jungle that you called home. The feeling of the soil underneath your feet, and hearing the ruffles of the plants as you move past them.
“Mom, Mom, look!” You yelled with excitement, sparkles in your eyes. Neytiri watched with soft, fond eyes. They were enormous, twisting and contorting in ways that could always take away your breath. Even your father, Jake Sully, is still blown away at the sight of the alien greenery
At the sight of a plant that resembled a water slide, you looked up to your father, pleading with big puppy dog eyes. Jake knew instantly what your intentions were and let out a soft chuckle. He was always the more lenient parent and would let things slide that Neytiri would never dream of. Like that one time, he let you ride on his ikran.
“Can we pleaseeeee slide on them, Daddy?” Adding that at the end would always increase your chances. Jake was a sucker for you.
All he could do was hide his smirk as he turned to Neytiri, giving her the same puppy dog eyes you had given him just a moment before. On your own, she would often say no but to the both of you, she was at your mercy.
And so, with a roll of her eyes, Neytiri could huff and agree. You did a little victory dance before rushing over to begin climbing the plant. You’d often see other people from the clan sliding down them, and it always looked like they were having a blast. Their laughs danced across the air and smile warmed each other's hearts. So of course you wanted to have a turn, wishing for a moment like that with your parents.
Just as you reached the top your mother called up to you “Now, I know this looks fun but you could get seriously hurt if you’re not careful. So listen to me.” She explained what to do and what not to do when sliding down.
You nodded your head and eagerly listened, not wanting to upset your mom by being careless. You watched as Neytiri showed you what to do with her hands, a habit she’d always had when explaining things. And so whatever direction she turned her body in, whether her body was relaxed or stiff, you committed everything to memory.
“Okay baby, you sure you don’t want daddy to go first?” Jake asked you. “No!” You huffed at him and crossed your arms over your chest. “It‘s my turn. Then you can go, Dad.”
And so, you sat at the top of the slide and pushed yourself. Oh, Eywa now this was an experience that was alien to you and yet you welcomed it all the same. Ringing in your ears as you passed your parents and the adrenaline rushing through you. The leaf was soft but sturdy and held your weight comfortably and the wind was pushing against your face, leaving your hair to fly around you.
Seconds later you landed on the floor with a thud, although that was quickly replaced by your laughter. You leaped up from the ground and ran over to your mom. “Did you see? Did you see me, Mom? Eywa, that was so much fun. May I go again, Mom?”
“You did so well, ma’evi,” Your mother praised, a soft smile on her face at your joy. “Now let’s watch your father before you go again, okay?”
Nodding with excitement you quickly stood up, ecstatic to see your father go down the slide. He’s always doing some extra to see your smile. Whether it was shooting two arrows at once or doing loops with his ikran. However, today was not that day as you watched him slide clumsily down the plant and land with a loud painful thud on the ground.
You gasped in horror before rushing over to check on him. “Daddy, are you okay?” You fell to the floor and patted his shoulder in a comforting manner.
Jake lay on the floor groaning in pain but looked up to you, giving you a small smile. “Gimme a second, baby. Just gimme a second.”
Whereas you were concerned, your mother was rather annoyed and unimpressed with her mate but her daughter saw a smirk forming on her face.
“Seriously, Jake?” she questioned him. “Get up, you skxawng. You should be filled with shame, your child is better at this than you.” She kicks him in his side before walking off.

Several years have passed by and the family has grown. But something that has never changed was the family days. Today it was Netyiri, Neteyam, and you (although now you were older), all sliding down the plant with grace and agility. By this alone it shows that the two of you are definitely your mother’s children.
Once at the base of the plant, the three of you look up to see Jake and Lo’ak.
“It's a shame that Kiri didn't wanna join us,” Neteyam notes while stretching his limbs. “Yea, knowing her, she’s probably running around in her own world.” You chuckle, creating a mental image of what Kiri is doing right now.
When Neteyam saw Lo’ak getting into position, he yelled out, “You got this bro!” He cheered for his brother but you can see the sly smirk on his face. He’s low key hoping that Lo’ak will fall flat on his face.
All of you watched as Jake got into position to slide down as well. Uh oh.
…But then he slipped and while trying to gain balance he grabbed onto something. That something being Lo’ak who wasn’t paying attention AT ALL.
He was more focused on relaying what you and Neytiri have told him and which form to use. All three of you watch as the father and son chaotic duo stumble down the leaf, the complete opposite of how you’ve done it. Neteyam winced at the loud thud their fall caused, and did you hear something breaking??
“Are you guys okay?” Neteyam asks them and walks over. “That must have hurt.” Neither of them answer in favor of trying (and failing) to catch their breaths because the air got knocked right out of them.
“Damn,” Lo’ak groans. “I think I broke something. Or sprained it at the very least.”
“Yea me too..” Jake agreed with him. Netyiri just stares in shock and dismay because they have been both practicing to not fall. At least it wasn’t on their face like last time. Those two somehow always do exactly what she doesn't want them to do.
“Please, Great Mother, give me strength-” Netyiri mutters under her breath, not even sparing a glance to her son and mate.
“Nooo, Lo’ak. You’ve been making good progress too.” You looked down at him in pity.
Neteyam, over his initial worry, is now laughing his ass off. At least someone got something they wanted out of this, and well it is pretty funny. “Like son, like father. Right, (Y/N)?”
Lo’ak looked up at his brother, always looking for a chance to correct his older brother. “Actually, bro, you got it backward. It’s ‘Like father, like son.’”
Jake’ face scrunched up in thought and then nodded. “Yeah, ‘Teyeam he’s right-“
All of you told them to shut up in perfect unison.
“Well in any case, I’m sure our new sibling would be better than you, Lo’ak.” Neteyam taunts with a shit eating grin on his face.
“Oh shut up!” He yells.

Strange friendship
─ Kisaki & Hanma, Peh-yan & Pah-chin, Taiju & South, Shion & Mochizuki x fem!reader (platonic)
─ Summary: you have a curious duo as friends
─ Warnings: none
Tumblr media
Kisaki & Hanma
─ Being friends with this pair means trouble, whether you get involved directly or indirectly, don't expect to have a quiet life like you've been having up to now.
─ At first Kisaki didn't like you, but Hanma found your attitude amusing, so the first few weeks after you started going out together there were only uncomfortable glances between you and him.
─ Why of all people decided to approach you? It was a mystery beyond that Hamna liked to tease you, you really had nothing to offer them, just your friendship and maybe your house to pass the time.
─ In any case, they liked having a person who wasn't involved with all their macabre plans, or at least not so involved in that world, they appreciated your disinterest sometimes.
─ You made fun of them a lot when you had more confidence because they acted like a married couple, sometimes you just stayed silent looking at them and letting your imagination do things.
"For the fifth time Hanma, we are not going to see Megamind"
"But it's your movie, why don't we see it?"
"Stop comparing me to that damn big head…"
"But you really are a mastermind!"
Kisaki pinched the bridge of his nose, tired of this stupid discussion about which movie to watch or not, the teenager got tired of Hanma's insistence and teasing, now noticing how quiet you had been all this time, his eyes met your lost look but at the same time fixed on both.
“My God… she's doing it again.
"Doing what?"
"She has that stupid look when she looks at us and sets us up as if we were boyfriends."
Hanma chuckled at his friend's words, snapping his fingers in front of you to snap you out of your inner trance, you blinked a few times realizing that now they were both looking at you.
"Why are you standing there? Haven't you picked the movie yet?"
"Choose, I'm not going to see Megamind."
Kisaki sat on the sofa, making the other boy laugh more openly for having upset his friend, you shrugged taking a look at the options you had to see, since they let you choose…
"Treasure planet? We've seen that one before, plus you only see it because you like the protagonist."
"That's the point Hanma, while I fangirl for a non-existent character you two can kiss and all that stuff, I won't pay attention to you."
Tumblr media
Peh-yan & Pah-chin
─ Being friends with these two is… curious to say the least, they are the dumbest guys but the best duo you can find.
─ You started going out with them more because their grades were crap and your teacher had asked you to help them since you had decent grades.
─ Honestly they were a 0/10 when it came to studying because they didn't add half a neuron between the two of them and they made you lose patience, but in terms of friendship they were a round 10/10.
─ Lots of random outings at any time, even in the middle of the night, just grab a jacket, they'll put you on their motorcycles for a ride or whatever you want.
─ Scary dog privilege.
─ They have you put on an altar for the simple fact of giving some coherence to their stupid actions.
─ Without a doubt the best huggers, they also really like your hugs.
You rubbed your tired eyes, the letters from your textbook taxing your vision even when you closed your eyes, you shouldn't be studying so late at night but it was an important exam and you didn't study as much as you'd like. You decided to take a little break, drink some water, maybe get some snacks but a tapping on your window threw your plans overboard.
"It's too late for both of you to be here" you murmured, opening the window "You should be resting for the exam tomorrow."
"There's an exam tomorrow!?"
You silenced Peh-yan for his scream, he apologized in a whisper and Pah-chin simply shrugged raising his hand for you to take.
“We weren't going to pass anyway."
You rolled your eyes at your friend's carefree laughter, you bit your lip thinking for a moment, a break wouldn't hurt you right now, looking at your notes for the last time, you accepted the hand that Pah offered you.
"A quick getaway and you leave me at home, okay?"
"Deal, come on, there's a 24 store near here, let's have a race Pah-chin!"
"Prepare to bite the dust Peh-yan."
You said as you got on Pah's bike that he accelerated taking advantage, you enjoyed the company of your two favorite idiots one of many nights.
Tumblr media
Taiju & South
─ How these two are friends is already a mystery in itself, just think that they have some kind of alliance for an unknown purpose.
─ Since you got involved with them it was by accident, they helped you with some guys who broke into the store where you worked part-time while you were studying.
─ They were quite loyal to that convenience store so they saw you a lot working there, you were kind to them beyond the cordial treatment towards the customer of course.
─ Definitely scary dog privilege.
─ They scare away almost all the customers that make you feel uncomfortable, you always scold them for that because they are still customers and you can't just kick them out.
─ No matter your height, you will look like a dwarf next to them and they will take advantage of that to make fun of you from time to time.
"Really, I'm going to get fired because of you, you can't just scare people like that."
"It was clear that he had bad intentions, you are so naive that you don't notice it."
South leaned against the counter, watching as you rolled your eyes and continued to do some of your homework. Taiju tossed some money to your side, nibbling on the snack he had chosen, joining the conversation.
"At least you should be grateful, we are acting as bouncers for free."
You pursed your lips, raising an eyebrow looking at the two with a blank expression, you closed your books, letting out a sigh.
"Sure, isn't it because you just like to intimidate people?"
They both looked at you with an innocent smile, even seeming offended by your comment, as if you hadn't seen them break the nose of a guy who accidentally scared you because you were distracted putting up some shelves.
"Honestly I still don't understand how you don't get away from us."
South looked at you out of the corner of his eye, noticing how you adopted a pensive pose, you gave them one last look when you saw that your coworker arrived to change the shift, before going to the back of the premises to change, you answered.
"You have only helped me up to this point, why should I stay away from my friends?"
Tumblr media
My bois don't have gifs yet :'(
Shion & Mochizuki
─ You broke your leg and put you in the same hospital room where they were after receiving a beating.
─ Even if they didn't want to, there was nothing else to do there to pass the time so the three of you found yourselves talking a lot.
─ They found your presence pleasant and you liked listening to them talk about their little battles.
─ So you all shared phone numbers and you usually go out from time to time, as long as they're not busy with some gang shit.
─ They try not to get you into those problems because they wouldn't like to mix you with that kind of people, despite the fact that both are aggressive there are people worse than them with whom they don't want you to get involved.
─ Many memes and spam in the group chat.
─ In general, they are a good duo of friends who can cheer you up on a bad day.
You were wallowing in your own misery seeing how many things you had to do today, from school work to chores that your mother had asked you to do, you ended up mentally and physically exhausted. You looked at your phone when you heard the 'ping' coming from it, smiling a little when you saw the message.
BROken bones trio
[Mochi☺] Yo
[Mochi☺] Shion and i had thought about going out this afternoon, getting some snacks or going to the arcade
[You]danm… i'm too tired, maybe another day?
[Shiuun] don't be a lazy bitch
[Shiuun] it's been a long time since we went out together
[You]you little shit-
[You]i can't move a single muscle, why don't we spend the afternoon at my house?
[You]i rented a new fighting game btw
[Shiuun] now we're understanding each other!
[Mochi☺] 10 min, is there anything you need? we're going through a store before
[You] nah but tnks, my father made some sandwiches before <33
You left your cell phone, tidying up your room a bit and placing the console controls to be able to play, the boys didn't take long to arrive and offer you their company and their anger for losing against you, now Shion had to buy you a new controller for throwing it against the wall.
"I don't understand how you can beat us so easily."
Mochi frowned putting the remote on the floor after you kicked his ass again, you shrugged turning off the TV, throwing yourself on your bed to make yourself more comfortable.
"I play most of the time, it's normal that I beat you, it's like if I started fighting with you in real life, I would lose immediately."
"Yeah, definitely you couldn't with any of us even with years of practice in some martial art."
You rolled your eyes at Madarame's words, throwing a cushion at him, a big mistake on your part because it was the antecedent of a pillow fight from which you didn't come out well, two against one was not fair but for them you deserved it for ridiculing them in the video game.

Elton, Corey, Sam, and Colby were going on a trip this week and originally Penelope was going to stay at home alone but the four surprised her saying she gets to go too. Mainly it was because Sam and Colby asked Elton if she could go because since she broke up with Darwin, he keeps going by their place banging on the door before running off.
Corey had no problem with her going since he found her nice to have around. She was the youngest but she always made sure everyone was okay. She basically was a mom to them and she saw her like a little sister. So Elton agreed that she could go with them, but deep down Penelope felt like she was intruding on them.
She really felt like it for the place they were staying at. Elton and Corey shared a bed, and Sam and Colby shared a bed. So Penelope would end up having g to share the bed with Sam and Colby. They didn't care whatsoever even though the bed was just for two people.
At that moment Penelope sat and watched the four act like they were making an action trailer playing around with all the drones flying around. She had herself bundled up and curled up.
"I say that should win an Oscar." She joined them as they finished.
"Why thank you." Corey laughs freezing.
"You guys ready to go to an 80-foot underground sauna pool thinking?" Elton asks so they all say yes.
For the car ride, none of them wanted to get out when they arrived because it was so warm in the car. "Mine you, we only brought one towel." Sam speaks up.
"No, that's my towel and Peeps added hers too." Colby corrects them.
Inside Sam and Elton go to buy themselves towels while the other three wait for them, "Has your ex tried contacting you?" Corey asks Penelope.
"I blocked him on everything but he still tries to stalk my socials. It's whatever. When we get back and he still comes by the apartment we're calling the police on him." She explains to him.
"He never gives up. I had to block him myself." Colby bitches as the two come back so they head out to the sauna.
The only thing Penelope hated was they had to wear life jackets because they made her feel like it was choking her.
"I need my buddy." Colby swims towards Penelope.
"No, leave me alone." She swims away from him and pushes the other guys into his path.
She relaxes by herself for a bit till Elton calls her, "Penny, Colby's dead." He laughs so she looks over to see him face down in the water.
"I'll save him." She plays along and runs him right-side up.
"Now, give him mouth to mouth." He tells her.
"For one, you're not supposed to do that just chest compressions." She points out then tickles Colby making him move.
"I hate you. You know I hate that!" He does it back to her making her squeal.
After some time they get out to dry off and wrap their towels around them while Corey asks about his towel. "It's negative 40 degrees outside and no one and no one told me to get a towel." He looks at them but then gets a towel from a stranger.
Outside a fan notices the guys and they chat for a while before four out of five get in the car cold and hungry. "No of guy guys want to touch the horse?" Elton asks. "I'm gonna go touch the horse. I'm gonna go play with the horse." He closes the driver's side door so Penelope gets out going across Sam.
"Penny!"
"I change my mind!" She rushes after him, "I wanna touch them!" She giggles taking a bit of hay to give to the horse and it eats it as she pets it with Elton.
"You a horse girl?" He asks making her laugh.
"No, but I love animals. Okay, we can go back now." She runs back to the car and he follows. They let Penelope back in the car but not Elton.
They also end up at a bowling alley to eat and after some time two more fans show up because they saw their Snapchat at where they were.
"I say we put a wager on the line here. Whoever does the best gets a bed to themselves tonight. Whoever's the worst sleeping on the floor." Elton says before they play a game.
"I mean deal but I feel like I should get a bed to myself because I sleep with two people already. Hell, maybe the floor will be better." Penelope finds a ball for herself.
In the first round, it came out to Elton, Sam, Penelope, Corey then Colby. Sam and Elton then decide to make a deal for more crap with bed-making. "I get both beds." Elton laughs, "And since I get both... Penelope gets the other bed to herself tonight."
"YES!" She cheers giving him a hug then happy dances.
"Have fun with no cuddles from us." Colby sticks his tongue out at her.
"I will admit it's so much warm in between the two of them but I also have no room so I don't care tonight."
Back at the hotel Elton and Penelope laugh at the three lying between the beds on the floor while they jump bed to bed over them.
"Alright, guys. That's it for today's video. I'm going to enjoy my bed and Penny is going to enjoy her bed tonight. Make sure to check out all of their channels." Elton ends the video.
"Do we seriously have to sleep on the floor?" Corey asks.
"Yes." Elton and Penelope say together.
"Fine." He pouts as she gets them a blanket for them.
"Enjoy y'all cuddles." She sends kisses to them jumping onto her bed.
~
Today everyone was going snowboarding and they all joked about falling on their faces the whole day. Penelope laughs as Colby, Sam, and Corey have trouble getting up off their butts.
"Why are you laughing? Let's see you get up." Sam crosses his arms so she pops up just fine.
"Have you done this before?" Elton asks.
"No, I just have balance." She giggles so Colby shoves her to fall and they both go down. "Asshat." She lays there annoyed.
"Need help now?" Elton chuckles.
"I got it." She groans getting up.
"I'm embarrassed how you're better at this than me." Colby says as they stay by each other.
"Not by much." She giggles, "I say on the big hill I'll be on my hands and knees more."
For the lift up Elton, Corey, and Sam rush to get on one but Colby stays back to sit with Penelope so she isn't alone. "Do you miss having the bed to yourself since we're back to sharing again?"
"No really. That night I kind of missed the extra warmth." She chuckles, "Kat texted me am I keeping Sam warm with my cuddles. She doesn't want him coming back purple and blue."
"Out of everyone, he would turn that color first." Colby agrees, "Do you still feel like a burden on this trip?"
"Not as much anymore but I still have my little moments where I do." She tells him truthfully, "But thank you and Sam for talking Elton and Corey into letting me come. I probably would be scared home alone with Darwin coming by. I'd be screwed if I did live alone and weren't friends with you."
"Luckily you have me and Sam." He nudges her as they join the other three.
They start to go and Penelope was the farthest before falling because Colby bumps into her so they both go down, "Colby." She whines as they both have trouble getting back up.
"I couldn't stop. I'm sorry." He gives up and just sits down.
The more they go down Corey has trouble so they just sit and lay around waiting for him. Penelope tells Sam about Kat texting her making him laugh while Colby listens to them as he keeps his eyes on Corey.
"I'm lucky I don't have a girl version of Darwin."
"Yeah, because girls are worse than guys when it comes to stuff like that. But she knows we are the definition of just friends." Penelope laughs sitting up from lying down.
"Have you ever had a tiny crush on Penelope when we were younger?" Colby looks back at them.
"7th grade for like two months but we hardly talked." Sam laughs, "What about you?" He gives him a look so Colby just rolls his eyes looking away.
After a long day and basically being the last ones in the mountain they head back to the bottom done for the day. Before going inside Elton says he's tired of sharing a bed with Corey so they play a game so he can sleep alone again like last time he won at bowling.
"Well, I'll know the outcome when you guys come in. I'm cold." Penelope heads to the room to get ready for bed.
When the guys came in everyone but Corey was in their underwear, "Elton won." Colby huffs.
"I'm not surprised." She says lying on the bed in her spot as they all get changed for bed too.
"I get this bed all to myself. And you guys get here. And apparently, we didn't specify that I get the bed to myself." Elton shows Corey lying at the foot of the other bed the three shared.
"They're going to let me sleep with them tonight. They're going to let me sleep in their bed tonight. Don't take that the wrong way." Corey laughs.
"How are four of us sharing a full-size bed?" Penelope looks at them.
"We all cuddle." Sam says so Corey leans back in her then the other two cuddle them.
"This is going to be hell." Penelope groans.

'You want a drink?' Jude asked, and stopped the car by the gas station. You raised your head from the book and look at him 'Yeah sure, please get me a coffee!' It's been two hours now. Both you and Jude are on a road trip to Dorset.
It was your idea to visit Dorset after a long time because you wanted to fetch by the Lyme Regis Museum. Jude obviously could not say no to you, after all, it is indeed been a long time since you both go on a date.
You watch him walking inside through the mirror and went back to reading. Moments later, he gets inside and handed you a bag of snacks.
The ride wasn't entirely silent, there was a time when you'd put your book and strike up a conversation with him to keep him out of boredom, and there's a time when you shuffle songs from your playlist and sing along to them with the windows rolled down as the wind light brush against your skin.
Another hour passed, and you are almost at Dorset. You get your phone from the inside of your bag to call your friend who's a worker there 'Hello?' You heard a shuffle from the background 'Hey! I was wondering if you are at work now. Jude and I are going there today, you know because it's been a while...' You heard more shuffling before she finally answers 'Oh my God! I'm so sorry, I thought you were coming tomorrow! I forgot to tell you the museum is temporarily closed for today, they're moving stuff in and out. Gosh, I'm so sorry I forgot to tell you! Are you on your way?' You forcefully chuckle and your eyes move to Jude's 'Nah, it's okay we can find somewhere else to go...' She apologized once more and then hung up
'So...' Jude sighed, hands caressing the steel, and looks around 'Well I guess we can always go somewhere... Okay, I know where to go!' The time is almost 15:00 when you caught up with your destination.
The place wasn't crowded, in fact, only a few couples were there enjoying sites and planning routes. Since it was a weekday, there are not many people. Jude stopped the car after over ten minutes looking for a place to park the mobile and sough in contempt 'I hope you are fine with the beach?'
You were now at Durdle Door, a nice spot for you, a beach and clear blue water lover. Jude brings a mat that you didn't know he had and place it inside the basket.
'We can get through the stairs and went down to see up close!' He suggested, taking your hands in his and walking.
It was a nice, warm, and long walk. You two talk on your way there and just have your best time of the day, it was rather a surprisingly nice date even though it was un-plan.
You two went just near the seaside and far away from the public before he laid out the mat and sat down 'Come! Sit here and enjoy the breeze!' You take off your sandals and sat beside him, knees over your chest.
No utterance was spoken, just the sound of waves crashing and hitting rocks, the blue clear water matching with the sky, the sun peeping from behind the cloud, and the faint sounds of birds squawking.
You two sat there and just enjoyed each other actuality. After some time, you two found yourself cuddling to each other, you in front of him with your knees still to your chest and he had his arms all wrapped around you, occasionally leaving chaste kisses down your neck, to your cheeks, temple and the corner of your lip.
You checked your phone seeing that it passed seventeen, thirty, and the sun was about to set creating a dimmed light of orange hue and a tint of yellowish shade. The sky was painted with birds flying around in groups, the neverending comforting sound of the waves gushing hardly.
'I love this fragrance on you, is this the one I gifted you?' He asked in a whisper, you hummed, and gently placed your head over on his shoulder. His arms are securely around you, never letting go and sometimes he brushes his hand underneath your top caressing your side giving your body a delicate shudder.
The sun set entirely, the night sky embracing you with her warmth, Jude finally let go looking over at you with a lazy smile grazing his lip 'Should we leave? It's freezing.' You nod and get up to clean the place and left the place, hands in hands. The moon witnessed the scene and left with envy.

Chapter 4 - The CDC
“Everybody listen up.” Shane called. “Those of you with C.B.s, we’re gonna be on channel forty. Let’s keep the chatter down, okay? Now you got a problem, don’t have a C.B., can’t get a signal or anything at all, you’re gonna hit your horn one time. That’ll stop the caravan. Any questions?”
“We’re, ah… we’re not going.” Morales stated, glancing at his family before he turned back to Shane. The rest of the group had packed their things, the line of cars trailing out of the camp in preparation for the journey. Iris stood with her arms crossed, watching the group.
“We have family in Birmingham.” Morales’ wife explained, hugging her daughter close to her chest. “We want to be with our people.” Iris wouldn’t say it out loud, but two less children to care for is a significant advantage for survival. These people weren’t exactly prepared for this kind of life. Hell, was anyone?
“You go on your own, you won’t have anyone to watch your back.” Shane warned.
“We’ll take our chances. I gotta do what’s best for my family.” Morales said with a nod.
“You sure?” Rick asked.
“We talked about it.” He confirmed. “We’re sure.”
“Alright.” Rick nodded. “Shane?” He asked, glancing down at the bag of guns.
"Yeah, alright.” Shane agreed. Rick fished through the bag, handing Morales and his wife a gun and a box of ammo. “Box is half full.” Daryl looked none too pleased about the exchange. He scoffed, turning away to prepare his things before he exploded again.
Morales and his wife exchanged goodbyes and hugs with the people in the group they’d become close with, and little Carl even shed a few tears for his friends. Iris nodded to Morales, shaking his hand despite never really speaking. They walked to their own car, and as the group filed into the available cars, they said goodbye to the camp.
Dale and Glenn led the caravan in the RV, Rick, Lori with the kids in the second car. Jacqui and Jim were in the back of the RV, treating the symptoms of the infection while they drove. Carol, T-Dog and Andrea followed in an old van, then Iris and Shane in Shane’s jeep. Daryl brought up the end in an old pickup truck, his motorcycle carefully strapped into the bed.
“So, what’s your deal?” Shane asked, one hand on the window frame of the door and the other on the wheel.
“My deal?” Iris asked, raising an eyebrow at him. She’d tied her hair back with the bandana, her knives strapped tight to her hips and legs. She’d agreed to ride with Shane with the expectation he would interrogate her about her life, and because she was comfortable holding her own if the caravan was overrun.
“Yeah. Conveniently show up and join the camp, right when we need you, huh?” He asked, eyeing her from the side. The corner of Iris’ mouth pulled upward and she rolled her eyes.
“Rick made me a deal.” She explained. “I helped get Glenn, I back you up, and a good portion of the guns in that bag are mine.” She gestured vaguely to the duffel in the backseat, and Shane tensed. In complete honestly, Iris didn’t know where her loyalties lay, and Shane was very aware of that. These people didn’t know her, and she didn’t know them. If it came down to it, would she really stay?
They rode for another hour in silence, every so often the radio crackling as Shane checked everyone was good. Dale’s voice came up soon after, explaining that he was pulling the RV over. Iris hopped out of the jeep quickly, coming up to see steam rising from the RV’s grill.
“I told you we’d never get far on that hose.” Dale muttered, putting his hands on his hips as he sat back and examined the damage. Rick sighed, adjusting his hat in the hot sun. “I said I needed the one from the cube van.”
“Can you jury-rig it?” Rick asked.
“That’s all it’s been so far. It’s more duct-tape than hose. And I’m out of duct-tape.” Dale replied, making a face.
“I see something up ahead.” Shane called, peering through a pair of binoculars. “A gas station if we’re lucky.”
“Y’all, Jim— it’s bad. I don’t think he can take anymore.” Jacqui warned as she ran out of the RV. Iris frowned at the gravity of the situation. No one had decided what to do with him should he not make it to the CDC.
“Hey, Rick, you want to hold down the fort? I’ll drive ahead, see what I can bring back?” Shane offered.
“I’ll come. I know what to look for.” Iris added.
“You know what the RV engine needs?” Shane asked suspiciously. Iris rolled her eyes. Her entire life, men never accepted she knew anything about cars.
“I was a mechanic, once.” She stated. To reassure herself, she peered through the grate of the RV, nodding. “I’ll see if I can find some other replacements. There’s a hell of a lot of duct-tape in here.”
“Gotta keep it running somehow.” Dale shrugged, chuckling. Iris nodded, offering a small smile.
“I’ll come along too, back you up.” T-Dog offered. Shane nodded.
“Y’all keep your eyes open, now. We’ll be right back.” Shane called. Rick nodded, taking off his hat as he followed Jacqui into the RV. They loaded into the jeep, driving up ahead to the gas station.
It was old and abandoned, that was for sure. An old clock that looked like a bottle cap ticked loudly through the place. It’d been looted, but there were a few water bottles and packages of jerky that T-Dog filled his backpack with. Iris found a patch for the radiator hose. Not one that was made for an RV, but it would work if she could fashion it properly. She also grabbed another few rolls of duct-tape while Shane waited outside, guarding the door with his gun.
When they returned, Rick was sitting on the steps of the RV with his head in his hands.
“It’s what he says he wants.” Rick explained as they stood around outside the RV. Jim told him he wanted them to leave him here. With his family. How long they’d been gone, Iris wasn’t sure, but they really should limit their liability risks.
“And he’s lucid?” Carol asked, incredulous.
“He seems to be.” Rick confirmed. “I would say yes.”
“Back in the camp, when I said Daryl might be right, and you shut me down,” Dale said quietly, “you misunderstood. I would never go along with… callously killing a man. I was just gonna suggest that we ask Jim what he wants. Iris said the same.” He gestured to her and she nodded. “I think we have an answer.”
“We just leave him here? Take off?” Shane asked, rubbing a hand over his face as he turned to Rick. “Man, I’m not sure I could live with that.”
“It’s not your call.” Lori stated. “Either one of you.” Iris let a small smile play across her lips. She liked Lori. She didn’t put up with the alpha male pissing contest bullshit they liked to play at.
With that, Shane and Rick hauled Jim out of the RV, carefully trudging up the hill at the side of the road and placing him at the base of a thick oak tree. It cast a good amount of shade over the area, and Jim sighed as he practically sunk into the earth. Iris stayed back at the RV while Daryl patrolled the area and the rest of the group said their goodbyes.
None of them were particularly comfortable with the situation, but if it was what Jim wanted, it was for the best. And deep down, Iris knew they knew it was best for their group. It was emotional for all of them, that was evident. Even Daryl went to apologize quietly before they all went back to their separate vehicles. Iris watched Jim stare up into the sky, and he seemed to sigh in relief as the caravan pulled away.
When they arrived at the CDC they were overwhelmed by the smell of the bodies. Iris fashioned her bandana over her face once more as they armed themselves in preparation. Most of them seemed completely dead, but you could never be too careful. Swarms of flies surrounded the place, maggots festering. The roads had been blocked off in a perimeter around the building, barricades of sand bags providing protection to the National Guard whose bodies they now stepped over.
Rick led the way as they passed the bodies, tanks, military trucks. Everyone moved in a large group, keeping quiet apart from coughing as they walked to the building. Carol and Lori continuously whispered encouragements to their kids, who had hands over their noses, mouths and eyes. The doors to the building were covered with metal grates, all of which seemed bolted into the ground.
“Nothing?” Shane asked as Rick rattled the grate. Iris took note of the security cameras around the place, searching for any indication of activity. Shane pounded angrily on the door.
“There’s nobody here.” T-Dog muttered.
“Then why are these shutters down?” Rick asked argumentatively. Iris tilted her head. He had a point. But whoever had been inside could be long dead.
“Walkers!” Daryl called out in warning. Sophia, Carol’s daughter, began whimpering in fear as they all turned toward the dead.
“Watch the noise.” Iris warned as they cocked their guns. Daryl stepped forward with his crossbow, taking care of the closest one, a man in an army uniform.
“You led us into a graveyard!” Daryl snapped, scowling at Rick.
“Shh!” Dale warned.
“He made a call.” Shane snapped back, grabbing a shotgun.
“It was the wrong damn call!”
“Just shut up. You hear me? Shut up. Shut up!” Shane growled, shoving Daryl backward and pointing a finger to his face. He whipped around. “Rick, this is a dead end.”
“Where are we gonna go?” Carol asked, clutching her daughter to her closely.
“Do you hear me? No blame.” Shane continued.
“She’s right. We can’t be here, this close to the city after dark.” Lori agreed with Carol.
“This place will be crawling soon. We’re making too much noise. Even the sound of the cars.” Iris said quietly, surveying their surroundings. They had their backs up against a wall here.
“Fort Benning, Rick. Still an option.” Shane stated.
“On what?” Andrea asked. “No food, no fuel. That’s a hundred miles.”
“125. I checked the map.” Glenn corrected. Iris raised an eyebrow.
“Forget Fort Banning. We need answers tonight. Now.” Lori snapped, trying to console her sobbing son.
“We’ll think of something.” Rick insisted as they all began shouting, pleading with him. Iris kept quiet, watching him. She glanced back at the shutters, freezing.
“Alright, everyone back to the cars.” Shane called.
“Rick. The camera. The camera moved. It’s recording, but it moved.” Iris said loudly, pointing to the camera.
“You imagined it.” Dale stated quickly, shaking his head.
“No way.” She pulled down her bandana, stepping closer. “Someone’s inside.”
“Look, it’s dead, alright? An automated device. Gears, okay?” Shane said, shaking his head. Rick walked up to the camera, looking straight into it. “Look around this place. You hear me? It’s dead. You need to let it go, Rick!” Rick shoved past him, slamming his hands against the metal shutters again.
“Rick, there’s nobody here!” Lori screamed.
“I know you’re in there! I know you can hear me.” Rick yelled into the camera. Shane was yelling at the others to run back to the cars. The dreaded groaning of walkers got louder with them. “Please, we’re desperate! Please help us. We have women, children. No food, hardly any gas left.”
“Rick. Rick!” Lori pleaded.
“We have nowhere else to go!”
“There’s nobody here.” Lori insisted. “Rick, please!”
“You don’t let us in, you’re killing us!”
“Come on, buddy, let’s go.” Shane pulled at him, the others already halfway to the cars with Daryl leading the charge. Iris stood, staring straight into the camera as they wrestled with Rick. Shane started pulling him as he screamed.
“You’re killing us! You’re killing us! You’re killing us—“ They all stopped as the singular shutter screeched loudly, sliding open. They all whipped around as it thudded, pressurized air moving around, hissing.
They kept their guard up, Daryl covering their backs as they hesitantly walked inside.
“Hello?” Rick called. The building was enormous, an architect’s baby, columns spiralling up to a pointed roof and huge walls of windows trailing upward. The lobby was the majority of spaces, with what looked like offices above. But somewhere, there had to be more. “Hello?”
“Close those doors. Watch for walkers.” Dale warned, Daryl shutting the pedestrian doors behind them. They all stopped, looking around the space, waiting.
“Hello!” A voice called from the opposite end of the lobby. He stood in the mouth of the hallway. The man had scruffy hair and was wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants, but the grip he had on the military-grade rifle in his hands was confident. “Anybody infected?”
“One of our group was. He didn’t make it.” Rick replied. They all kept their weapons up.
“Why are you here? What do you want?” The man asked.
“A chance.” Rick replied simply. Optimistically. Obnoxiously.
“That’s asking an awful lot these days.” The man replied.
“I know.” Rick agreed. The man’s gaze flicked across each of them, taking in the sight of their group.
“You all submit to a blood test. That’s the price of admission.” The man said lowly.
“We can do that.” The man put his gun down.
“You got stuff to bring in, you do it now. Once this door closes, it stays closed.” He said firmly, gesturing outside.
Iris, Shane, Rick, Glenn and Daryl all ran outside, gathering bags and doing runs from the vehicles. They each took one, finding it easier to be agile when they separated. T-Dog and Dale manned the doors, closing them tight and opening them wide each time they ran in and out. In a few minutes, everything was in a pile in the lobby. Rick gave him the go-ahead, and the man scanned a keycard.
“Vi, seal the main entrance.” He spoke into it. “Kill the power up here.” The grate slid shut over the doors as the key panel beeped and blinked red.
“Rick Grimes.” Rick introduced, offering his hand to shake. The doctor looked at him warily, making no move to shake his hand.
“Dr. Edwin Jenner.” He replied.

Saul silva/farah x teen!reader - rescue you
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Part 3:
By the time Saul had finished cooking you had fallen asleep again, so he set half it aside in a tub for you when you woke up again.
He sat on the sofa with a plate, and he looked at toothless who was watching you.
“She’ll wake up soon.” He said.
The dragon looked over at him and grumbled a little, laying down and turned away from the man.
Saul finished his dinner and walked over to the doors, closing them, and he walked over to you, covering you with the blanket again, and made his way back to the side of the room for the teachers.
He didn’t sleep, he stayed awake in case you woke up again, so when you started to move around, he looked up at you.
“There’s food in the tub for you if you want it.”
You glanced at him but limped over to the door, and you stepped outside.
Toothless stood up, stretched and followed you outside.
Saul got up, walking over, he stood next to you, hands stuffed in his pockets as he watched you look up at the sky.
“You won’t be able to go back up there for a while.”
“Why?”
“Because you’re injuries are too deep, it’s too dangerous for you to fly right now.”
You glanced at him before looking back up at the sky.
“I have to go.”
“Why are you in such a hurry to leave? Why are you heading out so far?”
You sighed, pointing to some creatures high in the sky.
“Birds?”
“Dragons moron.”
“There’s more? The books say they vanished years ago.”
You took a small breath.
“They did. But somethings making them leave. Act.. strange…”
“Is that what caused all of those injuries?”
You nodded your head and turned your attention to toothless as he wondered around some trees.
“Well, if they’re acting strange why isn’t he?”
You shrugged a little bit.
Saul looked at you.
“You look a bit to young to be doing something like this alone. Is there anyone else.”
“None of your business. When can I fly?”
“Ben reckons maybe two months, three preferably to be safe.”
“I can’t wait that long.”
You limped back inside and grabbed your bag, sitting on the bed you went through your bag and pulled out a small book.
You opened it and flicked through the pages, and you looked at Saul, turning the book around you showed him a hand drawn map.
“Where is this?”
You pointed to a spot on the map and he walked walk, looking at it.
“That’s the other side of Solaria, why?”
You nodded and showed him a different map, pointing to a different spot which had a little X drawn on the corner.
“This is where the dragons were coming to. Now there going there. Whatever it is is moving. Do you have newspapers?”
“No, but I have a phone. I can check things on that.”
You nodded and watched him carefully, and he shook his head after a few minutes.
“Nothing strange has happened if that’s what you’re looking for.”
“Okay.”
Saul looked down at you.
“You’re awfully chatty today. Does this mean you trust us now?”
“No. I don’t trust you at all.”
“Then why are you asking me questions.”
“You live here. I do not. Simple.”
“Then where do you live.”
“None of your concern.”
Saul sighed softly.
“You know we can keep playing this game of back and forth where you tell me some stuff but not others. You’re going to be here for a while, I’d we can help we will.”
“Do you know how to tame dragons?”
“No.”
“Ride them?”
“No…”
“Fight them?”
“Okay I get the point.”
“Good. You’re not much use to me since you can’t do anything if these things.”
You set your book aside and Saul picked it up, looking through it.
There was a lot of drawings, and writing he couldn’t read.
He saw a pictures of toothless and he held out the book to you.
“What does it say?”
“Don’t you people know anything jeez. Give it here.”
You pointed to the words.
“Classification: night fury. Description: the unholy offspring of lightening and death itself. Advice: if you see this dragon, run and pray that it does not find you. Speed: unknown. Strength: unknown.”
“You don’t know anything about him?”
You set the book down.
“I know a bit. But not his full potential.”
Saul nodded his head and you lifted your shirt a bit to look at your side.
“Is it hurting?”
“It’s fine.”
Saul sighed, and nodded.
When Farah came, she tried asking some questions, but just like with Saul you chose to answer the ones you wanted too.
They were no closer to figure out what was going on, and why you were alone.
But the did notice you were improving, you were waking better, and you weren’t in as much pain.
You asked them to bring you some tools and other things, which they did, and a whole bunch of scrap metal.
Saul and Ben carried some metal over.
“What’s all of this for?” Ben asked.
“Stuff.”
“You want to share what kind of stuff?” Farah asked.
You looked at her, and gestured to your makeshift workbench inside and she looked at all the plans you had drawn up.
“Armour? Weapons?” She asked.
“Congratulations you can see.”
You picked up some metal and tossed it into the fire pit you had toothless dig.
“Bud?”
He shot a plasma blast into it, and you stepped back as he shot another.
“What’s this one?” Ben asked.
You looked at the one his was holding.
“Tail for toothless. His is banged up, he can’t fly well.”
“What happened to his tail?” Saul asked.
You said nothing and they watched as you poked the fire with a stick and set it aside.
You walked around, collecting fallen scales and you walked to the work bench and set them into a bucket with the rest.
“Okay, why are you collecting his scales?”
“Fire and heat resistant.”
They all nodded.
It was like you were getting ready to go to a full scale war, and they could only bring you things to help you.
They knew they couldn’t talk you out of it, all they could do was try give you everything you needed to protect you.
They noticed as the days went by you seemed to get more and more unsettled, more and more dragons flew over solaira.
They knew something big was coming, the school was being closed soon and students set home, many places were being evacuated and the army was being rounded up.
It was almost like a race to see who figured out what was going on first, you or the queen.
And you seemed to know something they didn’t, but you wouldn’t tell them.
You stopped, and looked back at them.
“Are you three leaving Solaria too?”
“Ben is, for his kids. But me and Saul aren’t. Not while you’re still hurt and need help.” Farah a smiled.
You turned back to the work bench.
“You should you know. Go with everyone else.”
“What do you know that we don’t?” Saul asked.
You heard toothless whine and you looked at him, watching as he shook his head.
You had seen this before, once. You knew what was coming, and at this rate you weren’t going to be ready for it.
“Just go.” You said.
You walked outside and stood in front of toothless, placing your hands over his ears.
“Block it out…” you whispered.
Toothless looked at you and whined a little.
“It’s okay, I’m here.”
He rested his head on your chest and you sighed, running your hand over his scales.
“Whatever is going on, we can help you. You know that right?” Farah asked.
“You can’t. I have to do this alone.”
You turned to the dragon again and they all shared a concerned look

Tumblr media
ran haitani x female! reader
warnings: fluff to angst, more angst than anything though :/, some violence, jealous Ran, mentions of abuse
summary: looking back on your life with Ran Haitani, you try to figure out where your relationship went wrong. only to figure out, none of it was ever your fault.
•••
Tumblr media
You met Ran Haitani when you were 15 years old, just a year younger than him. You knew how him and his brother were the infamous rulers of Roppongi. You knew how everyone feared him, terrified by the mere presence of them.
But not you.
Ran took a liking to you when he met you through Rindou. You used to come over and help Rindou study, while Ran would watch you from the living room. He would always give you soft looks, causing a blush to rise on your cheeks each time. “Get with eachother already! I need to pass this test.”
Ran took Rindous advice and asked you out later that night.
You didn’t go straight back to school after graduating. Instead, you moved in with Ran. You cooked for him, cleaned around the apartment, washed and put up his clothes. Ran knew then that you would be the perfect little house wife. You even remember the conversation in bed with him one night.
“You don’t need college, we got everything we need.”
You raised a brow at him, laying your cheek against his chest. “We still live in this apartment with your brother.”
“What’s wrong with that?”
He couldn’t convince you to not go back to school. So he would drive to and from class everyday, never leaving until you entered the building. He was never late, until he was.
A friend from class stayed with you as you waited. And right as Ran drove up, his ride came as well. He gave you a quick hug and a smile, before leaving.
You smiled at Ran, taking the helmet from his hands. “Who the hell was that?”
“Oh, just a friend from class. He stayed with me until you got here. Where were you?”
Ran stared in the direction the car drove off to, snapping out of it when you waved a hand in front of his face. “Gang meeting ran a little longer than it should’ve, it won’t happen again.”
You sat in class the next day, waiting for it to start. Looking at the door, you seen you friend who waited with you. Though, he was definitely not the same.
He had bruises all over him, his lip was busted, his eye was almost swollen shut, and his arm was in a cast. When he seen you, he quickly moved to the other side of the room, as far from you as possible.
You left your last class early, taking a taxi home. When you walked in, Ran and Rindou were sitting on the couch, talking as Ran was putting his shoes. They both looked at you with surprise. “Hey baby, you’re home early?”
“What did you do?”
It was silent as you and Ran stared at eachother. He stood, putting the unlit cigarette behind his ear. “I did what I felt was right.”
“By almost killing him?!”
“Why do you care so much!? Huh?”
“Because you can’t just go around and do that to people! We seen some delinquents hanging around, you were late, he stayed. What’s so wrong with that?”
Ran let out a bitter laugh, getting closer to you as he backed you into the wall. “Some delinquents? Baby, you know every delinquent in this fucking district know to not even look at you. On top of that, he had the audacity to put his hands on you.”
Your jaw was clenched tightly as you stared at him. “I don’t trust all of them, no matter what you tell me. And ‘audacity’? Really Ran? He was being nice.”
He punched the wall next to you, causing a small scream to come from you and for Rindou to jump up. “Ran stop!”
“You’re mine! No one else put their hands on you.” Tears filled your eyes as you glared at him, watching his crazed eyes soften. “Don’t cry baby.”
Pushing him off of you, you ran up the stairs. “I’m leaving!”
“You’re not going no fucking where!” Rindou ran and stood in front of the stairs, pushing Ran back.
“Go calm the fuck down before you do something you’ll regret.”
You remember how you shifted closer to the wall that night once you feel the bed dip in. Ran let out a sigh before wrapping his arm around you, pulling you in. Stuffing his face in the crook of your neck, you both just stayed quiet. “I apologize for I did, it wasn’t right.”
You turned in his arm, Ran slightly smiling at you small pout. “Do you mean it?”
He brought you in closer, holding you to his chest. “Of course I mean it baby.” He brought your face up, giving you a gentle kiss. “I never want to see you cry again.”
That was the second and last time you fought with Ran. Usually you would just bicker back and forth but would laugh it out before it became a big deal.
You graduated college with a writing degree, becoming the assistant to a big time editor in Tokyo. Mikey had formed Bonten, making Ran one of the executives. Ran asked you to marry him, doing it quietly at a courthouse. Everything in your life was going right.
Until it wasn’t.
You remember how it started. You were doing laundry, folding and putting it away. You came across some socks, they were too small to be Rans and you didn’t own a pair like these. Deciding to question Ran on it later, you put them away in your nightstand.
Later that evening, Ran came home, walking to the kitchen as you cooked dinner. He wrapped his arms around you, kissing up your neck, making you giggle. “Ran stop, I’m trying to cook.”
“And I’m just trying to love on you~”
You turned around, wrapping your arms around his neck and he kissed you deeply. His hands gripped your hips as yours pulled at his hair, moans coming from both of you. He turned the stove off and dinner became forgotten.
As well as the socks.
The second time was when he came home late. You finishing up in the bathroom when you heard the door shut, as well as stumbling around. Sighing, you turned the bathroom light off and got into bed, waiting for Ran to stumble up the stairs.
He walked into the room with a big smile, drunk out of his mind. “Babyyyy~”
Falling into the bed, you cringed at the smell coming from him, sweat and alcohol. You knew he’d be out with Rindou and Sanzu. “You need a shower.”
He looked up at you with a cheeky grin. “Help me?”
You helped take off his clothes, getting the water ready. Turning around, you went to speak before stopping, noticing the reddish bruise that was on his neck. He seen the way your eyes wondered and immediately defended it.
“Sanzu fucking threw his cigar at me tonight, that asshole. It’s fine really, barley hurts.”
You weren’t stupid, by no means. Though he was drunk, and you weren’t in the mood for it. “Let’s get you in the shower.”
The last, and final time, was really the topping on the cake. You were at your desk, outside of your bosses office when one of the new employees had walked to you. She had files, so you were expecting her to hand them to you. “You’re y/n Haitani, right?”
“Yeah that’s me. Do you need me to take those files?”
She giggled slightly, a small smirk taking over her lips. “No actually.” Pulling a gold ring from her pocket, you watched as she set it down on your desk. “Your husband left that at my place three days ago. He’s just so forgetful.”
It was Rans ring. Your initials were on the inside of the band. She walked away as you just stared at the ring. So many thoughts were going through your head.
You went home that night, packed your things and sat at the bar, waiting for Ran. You spun his ring on the counter, your wedding ring sitting near the sink.
The door unlocked and you lifted your eyes, watching Ran walk in. He saw you and smiled, you giving one back. “Hi baby.” He walked up and gave you a kiss, looking around the kitchen. “We going out for dinner tonight?”
You slightly shook your head. “No, I was thinking we just make sandwiches or something.”
He looked beyond confused but nodded nonetheless. He began getting the stuff out, pouring himself a glass of whiskey in the process. You just glared at his back. “Are you missing something, Ran?”
He turned around, seeing you play with his wedding band and smiled. “Hey, where did you find it? I’ve been looking for this for a while.” He took it and put it back on his hand, seeing yours was off. He picked it up, wanting to put it back in your finger.
“I’ll put it on later.”
His eyes narrowed slightly before he nodded. He went back to making the food. “Remember when I was in highschool, and we had just started dating, and you thought I cheated on you?”
He tensed up very quickly, slightly looking back over his shoulder. That was the first you both fought, and it almost led to a breakup. Though just like the second time, he was so in love with you, he wouldn’t let you go. “That was a long time ago, why are you bringing that up?”
You shrugged, tapping your nails on the counter. “I was doing my makeup before going into work, and I just remembered, how hard it was to cover that bruise. You know, the one you gave me. When you thought I cheated on you.”
He slammed his cup on the counter, becoming aggravated. “Why would that be something you remember all of the sudden? You do your makeup every day.”
You smiled at his outburst, amused by it really. “I’m just curious is all. You hit me because you thought I cheated on you. What do I get to do, to you, for actually cheating on me?”
His lips were parted, and his eyes widened at what you said. You raised a brow, tilting your head while he just gave you that stupid look. “Did you know she works at my office, Ran?”
“Baby-“
“Don’t you fucking baby me.” You picked up your ring, throwing it at him while he struggled to catch it. He watched you walk to your room before coming back with suitcases, starting to put your shoes on. “I’ll be back for the rest of my stuff later, probably while you’re at work.”
“No no no, NO NO! You can’t do this!” He pulled the bag from your hand while you just stared at him. Dropping to his knees, he gripped your hands, tears already falling from his eyes. “Don’t leave me please. I can’t do this without you.”
You softly smiled at him, running a hand through his hair, leaning down to his ear. “You’ve already shown me how easily replaceable I am.” A sob broke through his lips as you continued. “I’m sure that blonde bitch would love to live here.” You leaned back up, glaring down at him. “Would love to come home everyday after work, and make you dinner. Would love to clean this apartment every day and clean up after you, because god forbid you clean up after yourself!” You threw him off of you, watching as he fell back. “Or maybe to do your laundry and find another woman’s clothing, or try to help you shower only find a goddamn hickey.”
“It was Sanzu-“
“Sanzu doesn’t smoke cigars!” He flinched as you yelled. “All that dumbass does is take pills.”
You slipped your shoes on, grabbing your bags and opening the door. Just as you were about to leave, he wrapped his arms around you, holding you close. “Please, please don’t leave. I wanna talk, I wanna work this out. Please y/n, don’t do this to me. I just want another chance.”
Tears of your own fell, feeling his arms tighten again. “I’ve wasted 12 years with you Ran. I’ve done so much for you, and you do this to me? What did I do to deserve this?”
“Nothing baby!” He turned you around, hands grabbing your face as he cried. “You’re so perfect! It’s me, it’s me I swear. I need help, and I need you here to help me-“
“I don’t wanna help you, Ran!” You pushed his hands off of you, watching him stumble back. “I shouldn’t have to help you. I shouldn’t have to go through this. And I’m not going to.” Grabbing your suitcases once more, you gave him one last look. One that made him flinch with how much it was filled with hatred. “Fuck you and a second chance.”
He watched as you left.
And a week later, he came home to an empty apartment.

Scrapped KQ Scene: "Roadtrip"
Ok, so I've been working on Goblin Graham again, and I was more or less following my outline from 2021, which is not the most coherent thing in the world. (That happens when the story is actually the decision, partway through a challenge, to see if you can force all the prompts to relate to each other.) And honestly, sticking with that original outline is no longer serving the story. Because I realized I had made Graham run away from Daventry while the castle was being besieged. mainly because I want his family to show him lots of love after the whole goblin transformation thing. Also back then I had never shown the Crackers, and I wanted to explore them. But - none of this works character-wise. Graham would die before running away from Daventry in its time of need. He is brave, and ready to fight for his people. He might falter, but not to the point of running off to Llewdor! And by this point, I've shown the Crackers many times. I don't need to shoehorn them in. I do need to do some rethinking to figure out how to keep certain things from the original storyline, because as clunky as Rippling Consequences is, I want it to work, at least technically. The setups are paid off, etc.
I was really grateful to @captmickey for talking this through with me and offering some helpful insights. She suggested that I take the scene where Graham flees and just make it its own thing. I don't think I'm going to reshape it, but I do like some of the things I did with this scene, so I am going to post it as is just for fun. It'll help me move on from the sunk cost and get the story back on track. So here we have it - the non-official, out of character scene where Graham behaves like a coward and runs, but also has bonding time with a bridge troll.
---
Those who have never journeyed overland in the palm of a bridge troll might assume that such a mode of travel saves time. Ordinarily, they would be right. Though trolls are a clumsy, lumbering lot as rule, the gigantic length of their stride makes up for it. Further, trolls never worry about following the twists of the road, or detouring at mountains and rivers. As long as you have no plans to cross the sea, you can more or less travel as the crow flies when you ride with a troll.
But if secrecy is an issue, well, you’re better off overloading a lame donkey with luggage and not watering it the whole way. You will get there faster.
Every day Graham and Olfie got just a bit further north, by way of an awful lot of east and west, and a significant amount of south. They chose secluded routes through the wilderness, giving towns and farms a wide berth. Bridge trolls weren’t unheard of outside of Daventry, but most surrounding nations distrusted them. Graham suggested that the best way to avoid attracting monster-slayers was to keep their heads down, sometimes literally. Olfie crept through the Miser’s Hills on his hands and knees. Graham rode on the bridge, trying to keep his balance. There wasn’t much to hold on to unless he sat by the very edge. That seemed unwise, but he tied himself in place with his cloak. His body lost height each day. The cloak was now about twice as long as he was, giving him lots of material to work with.
“Isn’t that the cape with big ol’ pockets?” his enormous friend asked after the first few hours. “Olfie could tie it to something. You could just ride in one of the pockets.”
But the experiment did not go far. The splint and poultice helped, but getting in and out of pockets proved difficult with Graham’s ankle. Besides, he found it easier to keep it from bending at odd angles if he rested on a flat surface. Once past the Hills, he spent most of his daylight hours in Olfie’s hand.
He leaned back against the tremendous cupped fingers. and watching Serenia’s hinterlands thicken as they passed. By daylight, his vision blurred and most colours washed out, but the contrast between light and shadow was sharp. The sunshine itself felt glorious on his clammy skin. When night fell, the world came back into focus, alive in luminescent purples and greens. Even under the new moon, he could pick out insects crawling a quarter mile off.
Scrub gave way to forest. Graham enjoyed trailing his hand on the overstory, much like he used to dip his hand into the water when he tagged along in the rowboat with his sister. Forest gave way to… well, a forest that clearly went to the gym and ate five dozen eggs every day. Massive paleghost trees dwarfed even Olfie, great-trunked and covered with what had to be the world’s thickest moss. Sometimes Graham snatched a leaf or a tree flower as they passed, just to give his overlong fingers something to fiddle with. He’d always been a fidgeter, but his goblin fingers were impossible to satisfy, just for sheer restlessness.
It did help that he and the troll talked so much.
Roadtripping with Olfie was a revelation. They had always gotten on well, and Graham had never felt he needed to put on a kingly act for him the way so many had needed him to since his crowning. But Graham had never taken him exactly… seriously. He was grateful to him for all the times he has been kind and useful. But, well, he was Olfie.
But with nothing else to do day in and day out, they talked more than they had in the four years since the tournament. Olfie had infinite patience for his too-short tongue and stiff lips. He never once interrupted Graham as he tried to sort out his pronunciation. After the king had offered his fifth or sixth awkward apology for speaking unclearly, the troll had said, “Frankly, Goosie, Olfie doesn’t really notice. All us trolls got some got teeth that go outside our mouth, not in, so learning you tiny people’s words takes a while for us too.” He considered. “Kinda nice you slowed down, actually. Olfie can’t keep up when people talk too fast.”
And oddly, it was kind of nice.  If the path was slow and circuitous, the stories were allowed to be too. At first, they talked little besides choosing which way to go, when to stop and forage, when to bed down for the night. Then Olfie pointed out a ravine with flowers growing up its steep sides, which apparently looked something like the chasm where he had grown up.
“Funny,” said Graham.  “I don’t think I’ve ever seen flowers like those in Daventry.”
“Olfie’s not from Daventry. Started out in the lowlands here in Serenia. Kind of far from here, though.”
“Oh. I didn’t know.”
“Yup,” Olfie said, a tad wistfully. “You’re not the only outsider.”
The silence lingered. “When did you come to the kingdom, then?” Graham asked at last.
“I’m not great at keeping track. Maybe fifteen years? Ish?”
“And…” Graham’s ears sank a little despite himself, “you still think of yourself that way after fifteen years? As an outsider?”
“Nah! Livin’ the dream,” said Olfie heartily, stopping to ginger his way over a boggy patch which probably qualified as a whole bog. Then he swallowed. “But kinda.”
“I’m sorry.” Maybe he should have said more, find out if Olfie wanted to talk about it. But Graham wasn’t sure he had the stability himself, even to listen.
“Hey, it’s not the worst thing to be,” said Olfie, with a consoling, toothy grin. “Least you got an outside to go back to sometimes, ‘stead of being stuck inside.” He raised his hand up to his face so he could look Graham in the face. As usual, it was a little overwhelming to be so close to Olfie’s eyes, one of which had passed as his “eye of a hideous beast” entry. But right now ‘hideous’ was very much a relative sliding scale. “‘This is just a guess, but with all this heading north - you’re going back, right? Home?”
Graham nodded, staring down at his lap.. “Yeah. Home.” He hoped so.
“Good idea.”
Graham shrugged. “Maybe.” He could think of a few cynical responses to go on with, but cynicism hadn’t got him and the villagers through the caverns. He took the second option - curiosity. “So, what’s it like to grow up in a troll chasm?”
And so the stories began properly. They compared earliest memories, roared over most embarrassing moments, and traded lighthearted gossip about Daventryfolk. Nothing too recent at first, but one thing bridged another.  By the fourth day, Graham started to haltingly share the story of what had happened after Olfie had left him in the town square that night. Of the aching choices he’d had to make, and of the enchanted cell he’d been thrown into when his first escape attempt failed.
Olfie didn’t have much to offer by way of insights or comfort. But by gum, he listened, listened in a way that was almost better than talking. “And then what happened?” he would say every now and again.
It was… a lot easier than he’d anticipated telling his story would be. Maybe it was because Olfie wasn’t human either. Or maybe it was just the nature of this strange journey that didn’t quite feel real, this step-by-step rise and fall with no crisis, no escape to plan, no friends to guess how to keep alive, no split second decrees to make, no previous king to live up to. Would the words come so freely when they arrived in Dapplethorpe and everything became real again?
Even wondering began to make it grow real again too soon.
One night, as the campfire in the clearing burned low and they finished off the last of their hunter-gatherer supper, Olfie cleared his throat. “So, King Goosie,” he said hesitantly. “You were pretty quiet today.”
“I guess so,” said Graham, gathering up the greasy pheasant bones. He could feel that with a little pushing, the day’s new thoughts would come out, and he wasn’t sure it was wise to share them.
Olfie pressed on. “Yeah. It must get a little boring for you. Anything Olfie can do to liven things up?”
Graham dropped the bones into the ashes and began raking them over with the roasting stick. “You’ve been great. Honestly the problem’s all on my end.” He should have stopped there, but something unruly in him went on. “ It can’t exactly be your fault when you’re just following the King’s orders.”
“Gosh.” Olfie raised an eyebrow. “Orders. Makes it sound all official.” He sounded slightly hurt.
The king sighed, trying to backpedal. “Sorry. I’m just a little out of sorts tonight. And I’m also sorry for… for dragging you into this. I can’t imagine this is how you were planning to spend your week.” But here it was again, the urge to pedal forward. “And, and if anyone gives you trouble when you get back for abandoning the siege, I want you to tell them it was on my order. Then they won’t blame you.” (Blast it, he knew where this would lead. Why push it?)
Olfie’s great eyelids narrowed. “You walked all the way to Daventry on that leg. You tried to get in but couldn’t ‘cause of the magic. You found out the goblins and little Manny Man had the place surrounded, and they’d grab you if they saw you, probably. You didn’t exactly just abandon the siege.”
Graham didn’t look up from the ashes. A note of anger he himself didn’t quite understand crept into his voice. “OK, to make it plainer -  I’m pretty much running away. When i said we should try not to be see, I admit I wasn’t thinking as much about monster-slayers as that… my own guards might be following us. To take me back. Because I ran away, like an idiot.”
“You got Baker Man and the rest of the little town people home safe. And you tried -”
He raised his voice further. “I’d been steeling myself to be okay with my friends seeing me as I am. But when my doctor screamed and crawled backward to get away from me, I chickened out. And ran away.”
“But home.”
The roasting stick snapped. “Even worse. Home with my tail between my legs and everything I tried for trailing behind me. Again. Don’t you get it?” The goblin snarl rose to the surface.
Olfie frowned and reached round the firepit with his thumb and forefinger. For a moment Graham thought the troll was going to grab him. But he stopped, and instead laid his hand down on the grass, right next to Graham. “So why are you going home anyway?” he said, lowering his great voice.
Graham didn’t answer. There were several things he could have said, but they all sounded childish. Funny how you could try to verbally whack someone over the head, trying to prove to them how stupid and cowardly and maybe even treacherous you’d been, and yet still have an inner eight-year-old who thought sounding babyish was worse.”I don’t know,” he said at last, the snarl gone. “I had all kinds of half-plans when I first told you we had to go. I thought I might make things worse. Or that there was nothing I could do. I mean, Daventry’s being attacked by goblins. And Manny. And Manny came to my cell while I was transforming, and he stopped me at the door to the surface. And, and I didn’t know what to do either of those times.”
“You kicked him,” Olfie reminded him encouragingly, clenching a fist and smiling.
“Yeah, I kicked him. Big deal. My point is - Daventry’s trying to defend itself right now. Even if they recognized me, they couldn’t trust me. Aren’t you constantly asking yourself what I might do, what I might try, now that I’m a goblin?”
“No?” said Olfie, puzzled.
Graham laughed grimly. “Thanks. But you’re you. Not everyone sees things like you. And even if they did… Look, I still plan to go back and handle this responsibly. Really. But I need to figure out what that would involve.” Olfie began to speak, but Graham cut him off. “I’m sorry I blew up just now. That wasn’t fair to you.”
The troll nodded soberly, and rose to his feet. The ground shook under him and Graham had to dodge a few unsettled sparks from the fire. “Ya know, this clearing’s a little cramped, and Olfie spotted a nice queen-size ditch just the other side of that treeline. Maybe we both could use the space tonight.”
(You know, I'm glad they had that conversation, because it was what alerted me to the fact that this scene felt all wrong. So - now we've had the scrapped scene, I can get on with writing stuff that works better.)

I get these feelings of wanting to stay in a lot but I have a fear of missing out. Regular 23 year old things I think. Last week my friends went out and had so many stories to tell. I decided against my intuition to not go to the city this weekend. I got to my friends aunt's apartment, so clean, hypnotic view, nice neighborhood in ways you can't admit you like, something none of us can afford but maybe one day. Talked, ate, got dressed in a ridiculous but hot outfit. Other 23 year old things. Went to a scary part of town 30 minutes away in the air after rain. It actually wasn't bad to walk through the mist. The club had 20 other people in it, and was filled with fake smoke to make it look more crowded but it just felt stupid. The music was good then bad then good then bad. Tried to stand outside a lot because I felt like the smoke was poisonous. Danced in a way that avoided people. We were there to support my friend's hookup who ignored me and the friend and was honestly playing a boring 2 am set that I was mad I had to dance to for a whole hour. At one point I looked at my phone thinking it had been a 40 minutes already and it was only 2:23. Dropped my phone on the club bathroom floor. Went back to the apartment, skincare, ate cookies and mozzarella, watched Sex and the City and went to sleep. The episode Carrie dates a jazz musician.
Woke up, got expensive breakfast sandwich and coffee. Sat around at the apartment for a few hours, talking and looking at the street. Opening and closing the window. Went to bodega, got groceries. Met my friends friend from Vermont. We have the same interests but the more I think about it the more I can't stand them. For the first time ever, I found myself not wanting to talk about Brandy Melville, [redacted] podcast, being a Charlotte, and Rhode Island. We were even reading the same book oh my god... Sat with everyone, watched Sex and the City. Then went to a bar someone we had met the night before worked at. Asked for espresso martini (it seemed like a classy place), received cold brew martini with orange peel, disgusting, and spicy margarita, yummy. Got kind of drunk but it was free and this bartender club goer has no social media and only a phone number which is respectable. Went to a poetry reading in a tiny bookstore, good coffee. Realized everyone has the same thoughts. We all think we're so special. No one wants to die at a party. And everything is confusing. Met my taste twin's boyfriend, just an average man. Went to a club close by so early to get in for free and wait for our other friend, immediately went to sit in the smoking section. Texted friend more than I ever text in general in hopes of saving the night and he doesn't answer until I say we're leaving. Taste twin and boyfriend have left us at this point and I'm secretly relieved but I tell my friend they were cool. We decide to go across the street to another club while it's still free, I have no idea why and sit there for a while. Finally go wait for the bus.
Bus doesn't come for 50 minutes. We see our other friend at the bar while we're waiting for the bus that is a ghost. He comes to stand with us and talk. His dismissive hookup has ignored him once again but he said he "might" come by later. He leaves as we watch the hookup walk up the street and meet him. They talk for a really long time. I try to get a lyft and it takes nearly 20 minutes. I get a shared ride for 2 because it's cheapest and sometimes funny. We finally get picked by a driver and our friend comes back and says "I'm gonna cry can I come in the lyft with you." I tell him it's only for 2 people but I don't care and maybe if I tip the driver he won't give me a bad rating for pulling that. He gets there and the 3 of us get in, he says nothing (not even "for [redacted]?") and we sit in mostly silence the whole ride. We get home and my friend takes the fob and goes to smoke while I shower and my other friend lays down. I get out and he's still not there so I text "are u okay?" He comes up and starts spilling: he's sad, disappointed, mistreated. I make dinner even though I hate cooking but none of us have eaten and I thought it was a nice thing to do in that moment. We talk and talk, eat, talk. He goes to sleep and me and our other friend watch Girls. I fall asleep and have a dream the devil is trying to have sex with me. Seriously.
Woke up and got expensive breakfast again. Went to the park by the bridge and felt like I had nothing to say anymore. The wind was cold but it felt nice to be outside in daylight. Went back to the apartment and packed. Watched an episode of Girls. Took the bus home.

My son is laughing I said the last half paragraph because the a****** sitting there riding on himself then he's repeating it and people are putting APB on him as he's repeating it and really it's a technique and trying to down he's trying to get people to downplay what he's doing by saying he's already in trouble but really what he's doing is illegal from our viewpoint too cuz he's getting maxed to track everything and they are and it's wrong we don't want them to be that aware but now they have foreigners invading and things so they should be somewhere should get the idea that their Vudu is really stupid and the Russians paid a heavy price but they're fighting each other too you see each of them thinks that they can overcome it
Right now let's see we have about 700 million ships down from 1.3 billion about 10 minutes ago before John Lords ships started their attack Mac Daddy put the APB and warrants out of them 2 minutes ago because of this and they need his people out of here and they need his people out of populated areas so trying to go in and weed them out and it works they just have to do the job and they think of course that he's doing it so I need to whereabouts of his ships and they need the Intel now because they're doing it like gorilla warfare most of the big bombs are out and yeah missing he pulls them out and he takes him out supposedly and we're going to have all the five miles down to one mile out momentarily after that's done really the only thing it blows up with the inside of it and none of the bonds are attached to anything it's just there's a lot of them we have huge numbers of ships it's extremely dangerous can't believe we just sat here watching them do it and question so we had to infiltrate fully it was a nice job I needed it and we really can't let them do this if they were next to him he'd be freaking out up and down the river as it is exhausted from it cuz people are very rude what a crew piece of crap that reward is he's into his fuse panel and everything don't want him in there.
As of this moment they ate in the ocean are the ones that they're doing this to and they're not doing it elsewhere on land they are doing it to two of them in the gulf and we're going to be forced to take those over or at least to empty them out and our son says that what else can they really do and we understand what you're saying you take the one of the golf if the force us to take those two which they are and solves the problem we do have a solution for the tunnels actually and we're going to have to run it and I suddenly see what he's saying if you didn't have the blob ready and other things we wouldn't be ready to do this and now the John remillard electrician is ranting and renting he's going on and on. Steve called him because there shouldn't be power in there and he wants them to fix it and he's arguing and says no I won't I shouldn't have to he says I can see it right there where the a****** tied in and he's saying I'm not the one for the job and saying you're the one for the job so you sitting there arguing with him and he's being a huge a****** it's coming up with all sorts of reasons not to and he's just sitting there making noises what's happening now is no one can stand him about it you think they're there's an aspect of this that people have lost sight of and John Rena Lord is helplessly lost and some chips and they took over the tower ships well you know.
Almost done emptying those shadow dome in the two in the Gulf the smaller ones of all the bombs and we're trying to clear and detect any devices in any other shadow dome they found several in the Gulf and they weren't that huge but they were pretty big about 20 half miles and they're digging a hole so trying to make it permanent so we have to get in there now as they may try and dig straight down into the show and plant a minute and it would be enough to detonate it yes they were going in now
Thor Freya
When there anyways and we have enough presents to help them from doing it but we really need to go in enforce and we are in the tunnel as well and we're keeping everything out of it and from around it as well if we need to we have the blob nearby a few of them and yes they're also enveloping ships that are rigged too much
When's the shatteredome are clear of bombs at Sea and probably all three here in the Gulf and we'll have to do the ones on land DC is going to try and grab our son so we're moving armies in now but the only remaining work would be to clear it out completely there's only a few things left in there a few trillion robots no it's like a few thousand robots that are broken and a few buildings and ancillator stuff and we're going to rip it all out and clear everything out search for it all sorts of devices and monitoring devices my devices rip it all out and then we begin mining and the operation does not take too long too long her son is actually surprised and elated and his idea to take over the fleet has helped greatly we'd never be able to do it. And this is proof positive that your our people and you're not signed up you should be because we need help what it says is off next to Saturn is a huge fleet but enabled us to get the shadow dome which are sitting right under our sun and threatening him and he had he had a very little clue that would be the exact fulcrum it is the exact fulcrum it's what everything sat on arrested on today if it happened we're going to succeed so I want ours to know that he does a lot of that and he's seen it happen a lot this isn't the first time but it's really surprising and it's comforting and it's a terrific day for him and her she's beaming with happiness and satisfaction and he's going to have to be guided into it cuz he's not really acting like royalty at all but she is it's like Rodney Dangerfield standing next to Queen Elizabeth he says it's not that bad but it's pretty bad Hera admits... And going forward we have almost all the devices out and we're going to get the place and we're going in after the shadow dome here in Florida and the one in the golf the sun says they're just going to be huge pass day and day out and we don't need it if they make demands up and down the River that's another thing but we can probably keep up if we may end up with they are we'll have to see you but he's right we have occupied these three before whether you want to golf has to go it's going to make the other ones much easier and his production is way down if not cut down to almost nothing and yeah tell me a soprano is going to be steaming after Trump and Dan they all are actually they're going on shooting his guys and that's what they're doing up there there goes up there. And it's really do the fact that Trump goes up there and they're seeking him on warrants and everything else and they trace them down to the Jersey outfit in New York and he's up there doing business with something or someone he says and a friend him up there trying to screw around with us that's what he's doing he's trying to order ships and it ships don't come in. And the kids can't understand it Trump doesn't get it says up there trying to order all sorts of stuff in the midwest is emptying and we've got the devices we need to clear it all over the world and he can't he has absolutely no clue he's down here screwing around with Tony soprano in this shattered on here today

“Bucky?” You whispered through the earpiece. “Sam? Where are you guys-”
Sitting in the van, you began to grow worried as you couldn’t find any of your teammates on the screen after they had turned around a corner. Tapping the earpiece, you were about to speak again when you heard Sam’s voice on the other end.
“Y/n?”
Sitting forward in your chair, you breathed a premature sigh of relief.
“Sam? Thank God you guys are okay.” You told him. “I was worried when-”
“Y/n, listen,” Sam cut you off, his voice a near whisper. “They got us- me and Bucky- but I think you’ll be able to take them out if you think you’re ready for it.”
You began to feel your heart race in your chest just at the proposition. Although you had joined the group almost half a year ago, you had never gone on a mission by yourself- always having others to back you up, but you knew Sam well enough that he wouldn’t have suggested the idea lightly. If he asked you to go in alone... you knew it was because there was no other choice.
“Okay.” You said. “I can do this, Cap. I’ll be there soon- just hold on.”
With that, you left the vehicle, making your way into the building. When the door of the facility closed behind you, you raised your gun.
“You shouldn’t have told her to come in here.” Bucky told Sam, pacing around their cell. “If we couldn’t handle it together, what makes you think that she can do it by herself? You’re going to get her killed-”
“Buck,” Sam said firmly. “I know you’re worried about her, but she can handle herself. She’s our only shot of getting out of here so I’m gonna need you to calm down.”
Sitting himself down in the corner of the room, Bucky said nothing more to Sam, instead placing his head in his hands.
Bucky knew logistically that you could handle yourself- you were on the team for a reason- but that didn’t mean he didn’t worry about you. He worried about you all the time- even in training- nagging Sam if he threw you down a bit too hard and feeling his heart drop to his stomach when bruises littered your body after a mission. He hated seeing you get hurt, but as he sat in the cell with Sam, knowing that you were coming into the building all on your own- he felt as though he was going to be sick.
Now he wasn’t there to watch your back. He wasn’t there to make sure you wouldn’t get hurt. He wasn't there to make sure you didn't get yourself killed- the thought of it too horrible for him to even allow himself to think about. He worried because he knew in your line of business, every wrong move could be fatal and he couldn’t bare the thought of not having you by his side every day.
Listening to the sound of water leaking from the sealing above him, Bucky prayed you would be alright.
Turning a corner inside of the building, you were hoping the same.
Peaking around the edge of a wall you spotted two men, armed with batons. Taking a deep breath, you aimed for one of the men’s bullet proof vest, taking the shot and knocking him to the ground. Immediately the other man ran towards you with the baton raised in his hand.
Ducking as he swung the baton, you threw a punch to the man’s stomach, knocking him backwards, but just as you did the other man hit you in your back with the baton.
“Fuck!” You screamed out in pain, taking the man’s arm between your knees. You pulled the baton out of his hand as you stretched it in the other direction, causing him to yelp out in pain.
Once in your hand, you spun around, swinging the man in the face with the baton, knocking him unconscious. Dropping it to the floor, you pulled your taser from your belt, shocking the other man, forcing him to the ground.
“Y/n?” You heard Sam ask through the earpiece. “Y/n are you alright?”
Shoving the taser back in its slot and raising your gun once again, you stepped over the two men’s unconscious bodies, running down the hallway.
“I am now.” You huffed, placing one of your hands on your lower back. “When this is over, you’re paying for my chiropractor.”
Turning another corner, you were met with a man and a woman standing at the end of the hallway.
“Are you guys always in pairs?” You asked. “Frankly I think it’s unfair.”
When they said nothing, just raising their batons from their belts, you spoke up again.
“Where are my friends?” You asked more seriously.
“You’re about to find out.”
The woman running at you first, you hit the butt of your gun in her face causing her to wobble backwards but the second you did, you felt a burst of searing hot pain run throughout your face as the baton collided with your nose. Stumbling backwards, you felt as another of the baton’s swings hit your midsection, causing you to double over in pain.
The man tugged your collar as you felt another blow connect with your face.
Wheezing, you dropped the gun to your side.
Standing in front of you, the woman slid her baton back into her belt.
“See?” she said. “I’m sure your friends will be happy to see-”
As she spoke you carefully slid your dagger out of your belt, but before she was able to finish her sentence, you threw it cleanly at her, the dagger jamming itself through her shoulder, sticking her to the wall.
“Shit!” She shouted in pain.
Immediately afterwards, the man grabbed your coat shoving you against the wall only to throw another punch to your mouth. Rather than giving him the satisfaction of yelping out in pain, you headbutt the man, causing him to stumble backwards into his partner. Grabbing the baton from his hand, you swung it over his head, knocking him unconscious.
Spitting blood onto the ground, you heaved as you picked up your gun and the keys from the man’s waist, making your way over to the room on the right.
Swinging the door open, your eyes immediately fell onto the reinforced cell in front of you, Bucky and Sam rushing to the front. Stumbling over to the cell, you unlocked the door, swinging it open and leaning against it.
“Y/n?” You heard Bucky’s voice first as he ran over to you. “Fuck, look at you.”
Moving his hands to cup your face, not being able to help yourself from wincing, Bucky could feel his heart shatter in his chest. Sure, you had a few bruises here and there in the past but never this bad.
You had a deep gash across your nose that he was sure would need stitches along with a cut along your lip and a large bruise forming around your eye- and that was just your face.
Looking up and seeing his worried eyes, you shot him a quaint, bloody smile.
“You should see the other guys.” You joked.
You attempted to laugh, only to wheeze and begin to cough.
“Y/n this isn’t funny.” He said seriously. “You could have died. Sam should have never asked-”
“Bucky,” You cooed, reaching your hands up to cup his face. “I’m okay. Besides, I couldn’t leave my favorite boys in here could I?”
Feeling your fingertips against his face, he couldn’t help but melt into your touch. You always managed to make him a lovesick mess as if he was still fifteen and not a one hundred and six year-old man who had been to hell and back.
“Hate to break up the reunion,” Sam said. “But those guys will only be out for so long. We got to get out of here.”
-
After falling asleep on the car ride back to the Compound, you woke up in bed, the dim glow of the lamp shining on the night stand above you. Opening your eyes, you pushed yourself up in the bed, only for a shooting pain to spread throughout your torso. Not able to stop yourself, you yelped out in pain.
“Hey, hey,” You heard none other than Bucky’s voice beside you, one of his hands coming to rest on yours while the other adjusted your pillow. “Take it easy.”
“I am, Doc.” You lied, leaning against your newly adjusted pillow.
Tucking you in, Bucky shook his head, leaning on the nightstand beside you.
“We should have never let you go in alone.” He sighed, leaning his head on his hand. “I just felt sick the entire time. You could have died, Y/n. If they just hit you in the wrong spot... I’m never letting you go in alone again. I’m not letting you leave my sight.”
During your time as a member of the group, you and Bucky had grown incredibly close and during the past few months maybe even closer than friends. It was normal for him to worry- you never even had to wonder where he was during missions because he always had your back- but looking at his face now you could tell just how worried he had been and you couldn’t help but feel your heart break.
“Bucky,” You hummed. “You go on dangerous missions all the time alone. How am I any different?”
A silence settled over the two of you as Bucky squeezed your hand.
Not meeting your eyes, he spoke up again.
“Because I can’t lose you.” Bucky said, his voice nearly a whisper. “I can’t even think about what would happen if anything happened to you, Y/n. Even seeing the cuts and bruises on your face? I’m... I’m not the Winter Soldier anymore, but I think if you put me in a room with those people I would kill them for what they did to you. I almost broke us out of the cell myself because I hated the idea so much of you going in there on your own. If something happens to me... it’s different. Nothing can happen to you, Y/n. Nothing.”
Staring at the super soldier sat at your bedside, you began to feel tears prick in your eyes. You had cared for Bucky in a way that you had been too afraid to admit- not wanting to ruin your friendship- but as he sat there, confessing his feelings for you, you couldn’t help but feel your heart tug in your chest, just wanting him.
“Do you love me?” You asked finally before you could stop yourself.
Looking up at your injured face, he felt his breath catch in his throat. He wasn’t able to read you in the moment at all, your face straight, seriousness laced in ever bit. All he could think was that even with the black eye and the stitches across your nose, he had never seen someone as beautiful as you.
He knew his answer. There wasn’t a single part of him that doubted it.
“Yes.”
Hearing his answer, you stared at him and smiled.
“Are you sure?” You asked. “Do you love me as more than a teammate-”
“Y/n,” He cut you off, squeezing your hand once again. “As much as I love working with you, every time you call me your ‘teammate’ I want to go find a punching bag.”
Trying to bite back your smile, you couldn’t help but chuckle.
You hated calling him “only” your teammate just as much as he did- if not more.  Knowing that he hated it just as much as you the entire time you used the word to disguise your true feelings made you feel as if a weight had been lifted off of your chest despite the aches that still consumed your being.
Bucky was more than your teammate, he was your partner.
“Oh Thank God.” You laughed. “I can’t tell you how many I’ve knocked off the hook after you called me your ‘friend’.”
Furrowing his eyebrows, he leaned in closer to you.
“What are you saying?” He asked.
Shaking your head in disbelief, you reached your free hand up to his hair, brushing it back with your hand.
“I’m saying,” You smiled. “that I love you too and that I’m not going anywhere, Buck.”
Leaning into your touch, a smile finally reached across his face. “You know, if it weren’t for your stitches, I would kiss you right now.”
“So my face isn’t too messed up then, right, Doc?” You asked. “If you still want to kiss me and all...”
Reaching your hand up to his lips, he pressed a soft kiss to your skin.
“You could never look bad, doll.” He hummed. “But promise me you won’t do that to me again. I almost had a heart attack, Y/n.”
Leaning your head against your pillow, admiring him, you smiled.
“I promise, Buck.”

AN: I am...well not a pro at writing dirty things especially not with multiple people but I hope you all enjoy regardless!
I don't own any marvel characters!!
Your assistant had just called you into her room. Your week had been slow but fruitful. Normally, it would be a regular client for the month, nothing to sweat over. Your thoughts started to run over who it could be. Maybe Mr. Dean, he usually calls on a Friday but you could've sworn you saw him two weeks ago. That didn't leave a lot of your regulars left to be requesting you as you knew their schedules like the back of your hand.
As if she could read your mind upon entering her space, she spoke, "Y/N, you have a call for a new client. Something about a friend requesting your services? The only thing is..." She hesitated almost thinking if she should tell you the rest of the details before she proceeded. "Well, it's for a group. You don't have to take up the offer if you're uncomfortable with that. I can call her back and let her know you declined."
To tell the truth, the thought of it being a group of strangers did make you uncomfortable, but your assistant wouldn't put you into a situation without going through the proper protocols first. She knew a head count of how many, roughly where they all worked, and several phone numbers. It always helped to be extra safe in these situations where you could be overpowered.
"Who inquired?" you asked interestedly. "She goes by N.R., gave me a headcount of all of her friends that would be attending. There's not going to be any men there, but I guess 'more power in numbers' is still 'more power in numbers'." In all honesty, women gave you way less shit about certain things than men did. Hopefully they'd be way more understanding if you didn't want to do specific activities.
"Call her back and tell her I'll take the offer. Do you know how much she's paying?" Your assistant slid a little sticky note over to you as she dialed the number of one 'N.R.'. You swear you almost choked when you saw how much she offered for you. That was a lot of zeros compared to usual. You walked away to get a water from the mini-fridge while you vaguely listened in to your assistant's phone conversation.
Good.
Perfect.
Okay, I'll tell her to meet you there at 6:30.
Extra clothes, yes ma'am. Have a nice day.
"Hey Y/N, I've written down the address, floor, and room number. It's uh...a really high end hotel in New York City. She also said to bring an extra change of--" you interrupted her, "Extra clothes? I overheard." you started wondering what for? Dinner? Go out? "Uhm, yes, she said extra comfy clothes." Comfy? Was she expecting you to spend the night? You looked down at your watch to see how much time you had to get ready. 2 hours. It wasn't enough but you could make it work. "Alright then, I should go freshen up."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
An hour and a half later had found you briskly walking toward the extremely tall and very expensive looking hotel in the Upper East Side. You lived in Queens and while the distance wasn't very far, paired with the traffic, the feeling of unsettlement about being late to such a client was enough to make you almost hurl.
You made your way inside the lobby, barely looking at your surroundings. You wanted to get up to the room as quickly as possible without being noticed. "Excuse me," Could you ever be so lucky? "Are you here for Ms. Romanoff?" Who? That must be your clients last name. "She said she was expecting a guest soon." The lady was being extra kind to you, she had an inviting smile. You almost wanted to never lie to her. "Yes, I'm here to see Ms. Romanoff." you replied quietly. It felt like your voice would echo too hard around the warmly lit lobby. You thought it would break you to hear your own voice shrill around such a pristine room.
"Very well, I'll show you to her room." Your nerves began to spike more the higher up you went. It was as if every floor number on the elevator was the level of anxiety you started to feel. Your palms were sweating and you could've sworn your back was too. The lady just kept her eyes forward with a meek little smile. It took every fiber of your body to not explode your feelings all over that elevator.
Ding
The elevator stopped, of course she was in a penthouse suite. You rolled your eyes as how predictable this situation was playing out. The kind lady, who's name you definitely forgot to get, remained in the elevator as you walked out. "There's a number for room service if you ladies need anything." She sung out. "Thank you."
The walk to her door seemed to never end. Your feet were dragging like gravity was doing everything in its power to keep them on the ground. The air was getting hotter as time slowed in the short distance it took to reach her door. You rang the little buzzer and a melodic voice called beyond the frame.
"Coming!"
You could hear the light patter of a single set of feet. The knob then turned and revealed a stunning short redhead with bright eyes. You were certainly gawking at the sight of her but there was nothing you could do to pull your own attention away. She had a smirk on her face when she saw you staring but not saying anything. "You must be Y/N, it's very nice to meet you. Come in and lets get you introduced to everyone."
She reached out her hand to you and you took it gently. her palms were much colder than yours and her fingers were long and slender. her hair was shoulder length and fire-y. The room was massive, and clean. She had all of the blinds closed to keep any natural light and eyes from entering the den. Scanning the room some more you noticed a couple items around the room. Non-traditional furniture. It was going to be one of those events. There were also four other heads aside from the host's. She turned around once reaching the main room and faced you. "My name is Natasha, over there is Wanda," another read-head standing behind everyone else with a glass of wine in her hands, she lightly nodded, "...that is Carol in the middle," a blonde woman with a bright and bubbly smile. She seemed taller than the rest but she was also sitting down on a piece of equipment that will no doubt be used in a different way by you. Natasha gestured to a brunette, "...this is Maria," another tall and slender woman, didn't offer a smile but a simple wave to your direction. You were scared of her the most. "...and this is Yelena." A second blonde who's face was much more stoic than Maria's. You take it back, she scared you the most.
Natasha's hand unhooked from yours and made its way up your back to settle on the back of your neck. The pads of her fingers added slight pressure to the muscles there as if she could feel all of your tension in waves. You felt her lean in closer, her hot breath fanning your ear. "There's a bathroom in the hall to the right. I got a cute little outfit waiting for you." You could feel her soft lips smiling against the curve of your ear. the feeling made you shiver. You managed to follow her eyes and swiftly walk to the bathroom, closing the door behind you.
You looked around and found the outfit in question. It was sleek all black leather body suit with a halter neck. You lifted it up in your hands and rubbed the material under your fingers. Next to it sat a bottle of lubricant no doubt to get the body suit on. You got to work shedding the current clothes you had on and began to slide on the little leather number. It wasn't too tight but certainly snug against your frame. The only thing out of the ordinary besides the material was, you noticed, a tiny little zipper in between your legs. If unzipped would reveal your very private essence. The thought made you blush a little to yourself. After cleaning up, you made your way back to the room where the women had sat prior.
Since you calmed down a little, you took the opportunity to fully take in your surroundings. The hall was adorned in art more than likely as expensive as this room. Everything seemed darker than when you arrived. To your surprise when you entered the living room area, the room lighting was red as opposed to the normal LED lighting.
Natasha held her hand out to you again for you to take. You obliged her and she pulled you close into her side. Natasha's deft fingers traveled up and down your ribs before finding purchase on your backside. "You look like the most delicious treat. None of us can wait to eat you. Would you like a drink before we start?"
The other women started moving closer almost circling you like sharks. "Yes please." Natasha poured you a glass as she went on, "We should go over some rules before we start. If at any point you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or hurt, the safe word is 'Heart'. We all stop what we're doing and will help you. If at any point you are gagged, two taps to the closest person will get all of us to cease as well. Because of those rules you will not be bound and gagged simultaneously...at least not this session." She ends her rules with a wink toward you. All of these women truly were stunning and it piqued your interest to know what they could possibly be capable of.
Wanda came closest to you first, she pulled the wine glass away from your lips and replaced it with her own lips. Holding your hand with the glass close to her chest and cupping your cheek with the other. Her lips were sinfully soft as was her kiss. She felt delicate and gentle against you, she almost seemed to not match any of this situation. Natasha took your wine glass away while you continued to make out with Wanda, who let her hands roam lower down your body. Your own hands moved behind her neck. Another set of arms wrapped around you from behind. "You're such a pretty kitten." They nibbled on your ear making you separate from Wanda to see who it was. Carol smiled down at you and found the very lips that left Wanda. You moaned into her mouth at feeling how she controlled and dominated the kiss, very different from Wanda's passion. Wanda moved down to kissing your neck and shoulder.
You could hear other giggles in the back. Natasha kept her eyes trained on you as Yelena and Maria began to touch each other in the mean time waiting for you. After a few minutes of watching her friends have all of the fun, Natasha made her way over to you, Carol, and Wanda. She pulled the other red-head back by her locks and pressed her lips to hers in a searing kiss. You heard Wanda moan out into the other woman's mouth next to you causing you to release your own into Carol. This made the blonde swiftly lift you up and wrap your legs around her waist. She brought you over to a nearby bench and kissed you harder. All of the sounds you were making began to rile her up.
"I'm not sure which one of us is more excited to have you here, pretty girl. All I know is I can't wait to ruin that pretty pussy of yours." You moaned at her words and yanked her back down into another kiss. Her words went straight to your core igniting a fire that had been waiting to burn. You made a mental note to find whoever recommended you to these ladies and thank them heavenly. Carol sunk her hips between your legs and began grinding against you seeking the friction she wanted so badly.
Even though the leather was a new material to you, you could still feel the faux member that rested in her pants; Carol was packing. This caused you to move your hands down to her pants to tear the buttons away. The tall blonde grabbed your hands and smirked, "Allow me." She stood to her full height and slowly removed the black jeans she was wearing and revealed her long, girthy strap she had been hiding. Your eyes widened which made Carol giggle. She sunk to her knees where she seductively pulled the zipper on your suit down. She held your eye contact until you saw them shift to behind you. Natasha and Wanda had pulled away long enough to see what Carol was doing and decided to join again. The two red-heads began to undress themselves where Natasha also sported a rather large strap but not Wanda.
In your distraction upon noticing the other women join in, Carol took to opportunity to shove he face into your pussy. You moaned out loud at the contact. Her tongue quickly lapping at your clit and sinking lower to curl inside you. Her ministrations were making you squirm on the bench. She reached up to hold your hips down. "Stay still kitten. Gotta get you ready for our cocks." Eating you out was an art to her. Every move she made, made you more and more wet. Natasha slid her fingers into your open mouth. You sucked on them harshly slipping your own tongue in-between her fingers and coating them in your saliva. Nat removed her fingers and started to rub them between Wanda's folds.
"Eat her out for me, malysh." Natasha requested. You looked up at Wanda as she slowly lowered herself over your wanting mouth. Your head went fuzzy upon seeing all of the quiet red-head's intimacy. Your tongue immediately poked out to welcome her to you. She let out a soft moan and slowly began to grind herself against your mouth. Carol was growing impatient watching you eat out the other woman and feeling you grow more aroused in her mouth. The blonde stood to position the tip at your entrance rubbing the head up and down your slit before she slammed her length in all at once. You yelped against Wanda's soaked cunt sending vibrations straight to her clit.
The whole scene was turning Natasha on more and more so she began stroking her own member, hoping to find some friction. The other two women walked over to join the rest of the group partially feeling left out. Carol continued to slam into you at a rather fast and rough pace. The tip of her strap hitting that blissful spot inside of you with every thrust. All of your moans and whines brought Wanda closer to her orgasm. She came hard in your mouth before she got up and was replaced by Natasha's own cock.
"Suck kotenok. Mommy's getting restless." Carol did not stop chasing not only her own high but yours. You could hear her grunting from below you. All of this attention was turning you on more than you think you've ever been in your life. Even though one hand wrapped around Natasha's strap and the other gripped Carol's wrist on your hips, you were finding it hard to keep blowing Nat. Carol moved her other hand down to your clit. "You better cum for me you little slut."
And you did; hard.
Carol continued her pace and upon watching you come undone, did so herself. Three quick thrusts and she was spent. She released the most guttural moan before her body was replaced by another blonde. Yelena had this look in her eyes like she wanted to make you pay for every wrong you never committed. She removed her clothing and sat right on your bent leg. At this point Natasha was fucking your mouth deeper and deeper. Needing to ground yourself you wrapped your hands around her thighs. Yelena began to rub herself against your thigh. You could feel how wet and warm she was, her hand sliding up and down your slit collecting your cum to rub your clit in tight circles. Your whines didn't stop especially when you were already beginning to feel another orgasm approaching. Yelena slipped her fingers inside you, finding your g-spot with accuracy. With every thrust of her fingers she hit that same spot over and over. tears started to run down your face with the feeling of Natasha in your mouth and Yelena in your core. Natasha gave one last thrust before she pulled out.
Maria shoved three of her fingers to the back of your throat. She giggled when you gagged around them. Your eyes rolled to the back of your head at being finger fucked by the two women. "You're not allowed to cum before I do, else Natty here give you a nice punishment while I ride your face." Yelena only made the threat to turn you on more, but part of you was hoping it was true. It was hard, Yelena knew exactly what she was doing with her fingers but you could feel her slick slide down the sides of your thigh. God you hope she was close because you certainly were. Maria replaced her fingers with her lips and she kissed you hard sliding her tongue along yours. The brunette smiled against your lips when she felt your whimpers in her mouth. Yelena just kept slamming her fingers harder inside of you and rubbing herself quicker. Her breaths got faster and more shallow and as she came, a couple seconds later so did you. Your body shook with the most intense tremors, but Yelena couldn't fault you. She did cum before you, and something about it being in close tandem with hers turned her on a lot more than she would admit. You let out a soft whine when the coolness of the air hit your soaked thigh.
Maria left your mouth and moved between your legs. She put one leg over your left and the other under your right and brought your centers together. "You're a pretty little slut. I want to ruin you so bad." Maria started out ruthless. Her grinding was fast and hard as if she had been waiting to cum for weeks. You felt her in her entirety sliding against your own. The feeling started to overwhelm you. Carol took your face in her hand and rubbed her thumb along your bottom lip. "Open up you little slut."
You obeyed her and opened your mouth sticking your tongue out. At this point you were a blubbering mess and all the ladies were loving it. Carol spit into your mouth before shoving her cock in. "I saw you taking Nat like a pro, so I know you can take me." At least her pace wasn't rough but it certainly was quick. Your gags around Carol was making Maria closer to her release. She leaned forward to angle herself differently against you and put her hand around her throat. She could practically feel Carol's cock fucking your face. Sweat was running down your forehead and your hair clung to every part of your body it could touch. You were close to being spent and you never looked more beautiful this way. Maria's hand tightened, her grunts were heavy. "Such a good little fuck toy. I'm so close baby." You didn't think it was possible for Maria to go any harder but she did. She came with a loud cry and slowed her hips down to ride out her orgasm. You felt her wetness mix with yours. Maria's hand stayed for a couple more minutes, entranced by feeling Carol deep in your throat. The tall blonde slapped your face a couple times before she pulled out. You were too busy catching your breath, you didn't see Natasha move by your feet. She lifted you up and turned you over on your stomach with your legs and arms hanging off the bench. Just when you were hoping it was over, you forgot that Natasha never officially had her turn with you. She rested her strap on your lower back as she ran her cool hands in an attempt to soothe your burning skin. Almost mocking you for being the one to give you the final blow. Wanda walked up to you again. She ran her soft fingers in your hair and moved the stuck strands out of your face. Your breathing was heavy and your body was trembling. Wanda's fingers moved down to cup your jaw and she lifted your head. Tapping the side with her pointer finger, you got the silent request to open your mouth for her. In unison, as Wanda brought her cunt to your mouth, Natasha slid her strap inside you completely bottoming out. Nothing but incoherent noises left your mouth at being filled so sinfully. Wanda gripped your jaw harder as she rubbed her intimacy against your mouth for a second time. You lazily kept your tongue out to try your best to accommodate Wanda's wanting. Natasha on the other hand, had been waiting very patiently for her time and now that she got it she was going to make the best of it. She grabbed your hands in her own and pulled them behind your back to make it easier for her to pound deep into your cunt. When you felt her hit somehow deeper your eyes rolled back. Wanda picked up her pace just as Natasha did, both red-heads moving in perfect synch at opposite ends of your being. A jolt of paint hit your right asscheek igniting a new spark and effectively waking you up even if only for a minute. With every thrust administered, Natasha rained a hand alternating each side of your ass. All of this was sending more and more feelings to your core. You will not be lasting long if these two kept going the way they were. You could feel Wanda fumbling, she was about to come for the second time tonight. Natasha continued to get more rough inside of you until you felt the knot inside of you burst. You came hard around Natasha groaning against Wanda's own cunt. The sight caused Wanda herself to not be able to keep her composure and she came with a scream against your tongue. You felt her pussy pulsing with her orgasm on your mouth. As soon as Wanda backed away from your face, Nat yanked your arms back harder to push herself deeper than you thought was possible. You were screaming, a sweaty broken mess, absolutely spent in this five star hotel. Every thrust pushed harder against that spongey spot inside you. You could feel another earth shattering orgasm approach hoping it would be the last. Natasha's thrusting didn't let up, she was desperate to cum. She was moaning over you with every hit. You yelled her name as you came harder than you had before that whole session. Watching you absolutely spent around her
member, Natasha came just as hard with her final thrust. She stayed inside you to ride out the rest of her high before she carefully pulled out. Looking down she could see wetness all over the bench and her legs. Nat smiled to herself at being the one to make you squirt everywhere like a silent victory. Allowing you to lay and collect your bearings, the red-head began to clean up the room.
There wasn't much you could make out in your state, but you could partially hear Natasha thanking all of the women for coming over before hearing the door open and close through the ringing in your ears. Your were shaking, your whole body felt blissfully weak. The red-head padded over softly to your spent and soaked body and picked you up carefully to place you in her arms bridal style. Your mind was in a war with yourself between wanting just a little bit more or to just go to sleep. You couldn't even open your eyes at this point.
Natasha had brought you to the bathroom to help you clean up and as she moved about, she kept you in her arms. She made sure to hold you as she turned on the faucet and sit on the edge of the tub. As the water filled the tub, Nat moved between rubbing your back and gently caressing your cheek. Once the tub was filled up enough for the both of you, she picked you up again and cautiously lowered the both of you into the hot relaxing water. You couldn't do anything but mumble and cursed yourself for the state you were in even though it wasn't your fault. You desperately wanted to think your gracious host for a life changing night but nothing could come out. Natasha shushed you sweetly. Her time wasn't done until you were well taken care of in her company.
You don't know how long you were in the bathroom, hell you don't even know when you fell asleep as Natasha washed the night away from both of your bodies. Clearly still in no position to be able to make it back to your home, the red-head dried both of you off and brought you to the large bedroom. You had come back into partial consciousness long enough to feel the soft sheets and the plush comforter of this heavenly bed you were being gifted to rest on.
Natasha lowered you down and climbed on the other side before pulling you into her. She lifted your head to lay on her chest so she could easily hold you and play with your hair. She stayed awake until she heard your breathing even out again, signaling that you had fallen asleep again since the bath. She placed a soft kiss to your hairline before succumbing to sleep herself with a blissed smile on her face.
She'd definitely be requesting you again.

——————————————————————————
“she’s a kook jj, i mean, you aren’t seriously crushing on her? are you?” john b looked up at jj, and frowned when he saw he wasn’t laughing. “john b, i don’t know what it is man, but she’s different. i just know it.” john b cackled, “she’s not different. she’s a kook, i mean come on… she hangs out with topper. that says enough.” jj rolled his eyes, obviously annoyed. “you just don’t like her because she associates with sarah’s ex.” he shakes his head. “no, that’s not the reason jj. your mind is just fogged up, because you clearly aren’t thinking straight.” jjs anger was boiling up, and before he did something he would regret, he decided to just walk off.
jj stormed away. he continued walking despite john bs attempt of calling out to him to stop. he was trying to clear his mind, he genuinely liked you, so much that he felt the need to tell john b. jj wouldn’t usually be this upset, but when john b of all people disapproves because you are a kook, when the girl he is dating is sarah, it angers him. after ten minutes of air, and chilling out, he returns to john bs house.
once inside he sees you and kie. he was completely caught off guard. “oh? you’re here.” jj spoke to you, causing you to look up. “hey jj. yeah, i decided to stop by before my shift. do you want to join us? we’re playing uno.” your smile immediately lifts a smile to jj's face. “sure i’ll play some uno.” he approaches the table, and you deal him seven cards.
kie was the only one who semi liked you. obviously she wasn't ecstatic about you, but she was open to tolerating you. as time went on, she started to enjoy your company, she realized you weren’t that bad, and despite being a kook, the two of you related on many things.
“first card is a yellow two. jj can go first.” you stare at him, waiting patiently for his move. his heart was beating fast, as he tried to pick a card. as he placed a yellow seven, john b walked in. “why is she here?” you didn’t miss the sharp tone that lingered in john bs voice. “oh, i decided to stop by. i’m sorry, i should have asked.” you stand up, reaching for your jacket. “that’s right. you should have asked. you can’t just show up to someone’s house randomly. it’s weird.” you frown, not realizing until now that he didn’t trust you enough to even be considered an acquaintance.
“she’s welcomed here whenever she wants to be, john b.” jj spoke up for you. kie backing him up by softly saying yeah. “no. she’s not. it’s my house jj, and i don’t appreciate you inviting random kook strangers over. she’s not a pogue. she’s not like us. meaning; she’s not welcomed here.” you frown at his words. you quickly feel out of place and you rush to the door, pulling your shoes on. “i’m going to go.” you spoke up, grabbing your purse. “good. see you!” john b exclaimed, watching you walk out the front door and down the steps.
“what the fuck bro?” jj stared at john b waiting for an explanation. “what?” jjs eyes narrowed on his, he couldn’t be serious could he? “why do you always do that shit bro? i mean honestly. what makes her any different from sarah?” john b shakes his head. “don’t even compare them. they aren't similar.”
jj scoffs, “oh they’re not?” jj begins to expose the similarities but john b shuts it down immediately. “jj i’m not going to explain myself to you anymore. i don’t like her, and i don’t want her over here.” jj groans in frustration. “if only you got to know her man, then you’d know how amazing she is. i mean ask kie. kie thought she was annoying at first and now they can be in the same room without being in a yelling match.” kie nodded, listening in but staying mostly silent.
“fine. the only reason i’m agreeing is because you hate kooks too, which means you might be right. about her.” john b sighs, giving up. “thank you. please, even if you decide you still don’t like her, please just consider getting to know her.” he pleads, “i already said i will.” john b rolled his eyes, jj smiles, “okay. we should invite her to hang out with us after pope gets off work.” they all nod in agreement, planning something so they could see if they wanted you to join their party.
the pogues had planned on inviting you to the wreck, and then to a mini trip on the hms pogue, for a boat ride. you were ecstatic, excited that they wanted to actually hang out with you. you think hard, trying to find a perfect outfit. you didn’t want to overdress, or underdress, and you didn’t want to look bad. after deciding on a simple outfit and swimsuit, you head to the wreck.
you see the group in the back corner. when you walk inside, jj is the first to spot you. a smile spreads to his lips, as he waves you over to join them. you sit down by john b, jj sitting on the other side of you. “hey.” you say shyly, not entirely sure if this whole thing was a set up. you were hopeful it wasn’t, but you could never be too sure.
“hey, thanks for coming.” pope said. you smile brightly at him, “thanks for inviting me.” pope nods. your stomach was hurting by how nervous you were. jj made small talk with you, as you guys were waiting for kiara. you weren’t entirely sure what they were planning, you were just glad to be a part of it.
“alright guys. here’s the scraps.” kiara walked to your table, setting down a bowl of fries, and then a plaster of burgers. you smile softly, jj and john b immediately grabbing the food. you wait, not entirely hungry since you ate before you left. jj offered you a bite of his burger, “oh thanks!” you laugh slightly as you bite from where he had bitten, enjoying the taste, “hey you actually have mustard right there.” you smiled as you spread mustard on jj’s face. you couldn’t help the giggles erupting from you, as jj’s mouth opened wide in shock. “oh really? well you seem to have some ketchup-” his finger rubbed ketchup on your cheek. “all over…” he gestured to your face. “hey! give me a napkin.” you ask for a napkin and jj laughs. “no.” you immediately look over to pope, giving him a smile. “may i have a napkin?” you ask. he smiles, “sorry jay.” he hands you a napkin and you wipe the ketchup off your face.
“thank you pope. i like you. unlike some people at this table…” you look at jj and he’s just smiling like a maniac. pope laughs. “glad that you think so highly of me just because i handed you a napkin.” you nod, eating a french fry before glancing at john b. he was awfully quiet. “john b?” you question. he looks up at you. “yes?” annoyance already rolling off his tongue. “are you okay?” he rolled his eyes. “yes. even if i wasn’t, i wouldn’t confide in you about it.” you frown.
you wait a second, trying to think of how to lighten the mood. “you know what we need to do?” you look from pope to jj, to finally john b, poking at his arm. “what?” john b looks up at you. you tap jj’s stomach, indicating to him to stand up. he stands up, making room for you to be able to move out of the booth. you poke john bs side. “we need to dance.” you grab john b's hand, doing anything possible to lighten his mood. his frown was still hung on his lips. he hesitated and followed you to the middle of the restaurant. jj and pope stay back at the booth.
you lean over the counter, asking kie to play a song she knows john b would enjoy. “john b. you just need to calm down, and relax. you just need to dance like nobody's watching.” he stares at you, shocked. “it’s okay. i’ll do it with you.” his favorite song started playing, and you began to awkwardly dance. he laughed at your ridiculous moves. he held back from joining in, he didn’t want you to win. you began to break out dancing, and he can’t help but laugh. you look up as someone enters the restaurant. a smile flies to your face. “sarah!!!” she runs up to you.
“hey!!! i didn’t know you guys would be here.” you smile, still swaying slightly to the music. “sarah i would have definitely invited you if i knew you were free.” she nodded at your words. “all good girly, we still good for monday?” you smile, “of course.” john b stared, confused by this whole interaction. not only did you know sarah, you were actually friends with her. you had plans to hang out with her. maybe he was wrong, maybe jj was the one who was right. maybe, you actually were similar to sarah.
“do you want to join us?” you ask, sarah grabbed your hand spinning you around before breaking out in a fit of laughter. “stay another minute here with you losers… i’ll pass.” you jokingly act offended, “hey!” she shakes her head. “only kidding. i definitely would, but my dad wants me home. he claims he has a fun night planned but it’ll probably just consist of watching a movie and eating from here.” you nod. “well have fun with that.” you spoke, she smiles, “you know i always do.” you roll your eyes at her joke, she walks away grabbing her to go food before she disappears from the restaurant. “hey i’m gonna go take a sip of water.” you move back to the booth, jj refusing to move so you end up sitting on his lap. you sip water as you catch your breath from dancing.
john b heads straight to kiara. “how long have they been friends?” he asked abruptly. “her and sarah?” kie questions, pointing at you. he nods, “yeah.” kiara laughs, “they’ve been buddies for years. they didn’t get super close until a month or two ago.” he nods at her words. he was still shocked. he looked back at the booth, seeing you sat on jjs lap, his hands held firmly around your waist. you were speaking to pope, and he actually looked interested in what you were saying.
john b had just realized that he had the wrong idea of who you were. whether sarah made him realize that or not, he definitely didn’t want to hold a grudge with you, especially if sarah was your friend. john b walked back to the table, his attention on you. kiara had followed swiftly behind him. “let’s raise a toast.” the group was confused but they lifted their cups of water anyway. “to the newest member of our club.” his glass pointed in your way, his cup clashing with yours. you smile. john b was the only one you were worried about, and now he was saying he welcomes you.
the group cheers as you smile brightly. “thank you guys! i’m so excited for our future adventures.” you drink from your glass. the group waited for kiara’s shift to end before taking the hms pogue for a ride. you were sat by jj, pope to your left. kiara and john b talking as they directed the boat.
“well, welcome. you made it.” pope smiles, laughing slightly. “i did, isn’t that crazy. john b hated me like 6 hours ago.” jj laughs, “classic john b for you.” you nod at his words. pope, jj, john b, kiara, and you, talked all night, watching the stars as you guys got closer. it was so much fun, and today’s events allowed you to become a permanent group member.
