Ft. Baji keisuke
Warning: cousin incest, manipulation, guilt tripping, clit sucking, marking, no protection, PiV sex, baji being a bitch, bimbo reader, (one sided?), praising.
Tumblr media
You flashed your auntie an adorable smile when she complimented you about your pink dress. "Tha-thank you Mrs.baji" "aii look at you, you've grown up so much!" Grown up? You looked like a big girl now, you giggled at the thought. Big girl.. yay!
"I hope it wasn't a trouble coming." Mrs.baji said with a hesitant expression "not at all!" Your mom chimed in "we wouldn't miss your house warming party for the world!" You mom continued. Mrs baji chuckled, "oh! Y/n dear, won't you go see kei?" Your smile dropped at the thought of him. You nodded your head no, "I'm sure he's busy- I wouldn't want to trouble him" your voice slowly growing faint. "Don't be silly! You two love playing with each other- remember the times where you'd be in his room all day playing, and wouldn't even want to go home" yea, right- 'playing'. You let out a nervous chuckle but thankfully both the older women were pulled by other guests. You sighed out of relief. 'Need water' you went to their kitchen to get a cup of water cause all of a sudden your throat went dry.
You took out a cup from the cupboard and filled it. "What do we have here~" your blood went cold at his voice, you turned around but got startled at how close he was. "He-hey i-itoko-san" you gulped, he flashed you his infamous grin which showed his sharp fangs. "Well hello there baby cousin~" His breath fanning over your ears. He was always so, so much taller than you. And his muscular frame, his huge hands, his long hair dropping over his broad shoulders, his bruised knuckles it made you so wet. He licked his lips "why didn't you come over to me hmm? Do you not like me anymore?" He said with a hurt expression. But in his mind he knew it was all a facade. You gasped, "no! Kei you know I'd never be like that... its just that-" "it's what huh?" He said a little louder, which scared you. You remember his reputation when he was a teen, buring cars, stripping people and beating them up. "No-no I just thought-" "hmp your not my favourite cousin anymore!" He mentally cringed at himself when he said that, you'd always be his favourite, forever no matter what. "Wha-what?" He smirked. Gotcha. Now he just had to play a little mean, but he knows his mean demeanor gets you so wet. "I'm going to c/n, she's more nicer than you" your breath hitched. You never liked c/n, she was always so mean and said nasty things to you. He rolled his eyes and walked away, you grabbed his muscular forearm "don-don't say that! I'm sorry" you mumbled your apology though he heard it. His grin reached both his ears. "Ok then.. prove it" He leaned in towards you at the perfect point to see you cleavage. The pink dress was so skimpy, didn't you realise it? He'd been starting at you all night. Hoping you'd come over to your 'kei' and greet him cutely like always. "How?" You asked looking up at him with your glossy eyes. Fuck he could feel his cock hardening in his pants, you were always go eager to please him, he found it so damn cute. "Let's play" you gulped. "Do-do we have to?" Huh? What was wrong with you today? You were always os eager to play with him, to let him use you. "So you don't like me huh!" Your eyes widen "NO! i-ill play" you blushed when he smiled.
Baji took you to his room, it was so much bigger than his previous one. He took your hands which made you a blushing mess, you were so ashamed of yourself on how you blushed and got wet with your older cousin. "Ok since you look so cute today ill let you choose, doctor or fire fighter " you bit your lower lips, you looked cute? He was always so good with his words. "Doc- Doctor" you saw Baji smile "Alright then, let's play~"
"Is everything ok doc?" You said nervously "hmmm" Baji continue inspecting you pussy. It was so hard- for him to not make out with your cute clit, to just shove his fat cock in and make you cum all over his cock, like he used to. Back then too you were so eager to make him happy, oh how you let him use you to his disposal. You remember eveytime you came over he'd take you to his room and use you, after wards he'd cuddle you and that's why you never left his room. You liked how he held you. You even let his friends use you! Mikey made you cum so hard with his cock in your asshole, and chifuyu made you feel so good when you sat on his face. All because Baji told you to do so.
"Ok so ms.l/n does it hurt over here?" Smug bastard asked you with his fingers rubbing tight circles on your clit. "Ngh~ ye-yesss~ doc" you bit your lower lips to contain your moans from spilling out. "As I thought, don't worry I have a cure" Baji grinned looking at your blissful expression. "Pleaseee doc~ make me feel better.. it hurts" Baji nodded. "Don't worry I'll make you feel so, so much better"
"Ahh~ ooh~ doooc~ feels good~" Baji continously sucked your swollen clit, with his nose resting on your mound. He let go of your clit with a pop "you ready pretty~" he asked. You blushed when he called you pretty. You nodded, Baji stood between your legs as he undressed himself. His tanned abs, his muscular pecs, his strong biceps, his even more muscular thighs, he was so dreamy, you loved your cousin soo much. "Alrighty then! Your turn" His voice encouraged. Your panties were already under his pillow, so you took off your pink dress revealing your cutesy pink bra which had a bow in the middle. He roughly grabbed your bra tearing it off. You gasped "be-be a little gentle kei-" he just rolled his eyes at you. He grabbed your ankles, pulling you towards him. "Y/n~ your so cute, your like my cute little pet~" he pinched your perked nipples. "Ngg~ you think I'm cute?" You asked with your voice shivering "the cutest~ not only cute but really pretty tooy/n-chan" you turned red with his words covering your face with your hands. "Now, now why you gettin' so shy on me, you love playing with me remember" you nodded when he took your hands off your face pinning it above your head with his one hand. "So why so cold to me? You don't hate me do yaa?" He paused before he put on a feverish face "wait? Did you tell auntie about what we play?!" He asked looking a little concerned. "No... you told me not to say anyone" he breathed in relief. "G-good, don't tell anyone okay? Otherwise we won't get to play anymore and we won't get to see each other, you don't want that... do you?" Your eyes widen, not being able to see kei? You'd probably die. You shook your head frantically. He smiled "See, your so nice to me, your such good girl" you bit your lower lips when he said that. "Now.. let's play ok~"
"Fuck you feel so fucking tight princess~ so good fo'me" he grunted. You couldn't focus anymore, his thumb playing with your clit. His fat cock piercing you with no mercy. He let your hands wrap around his neck and his other hand wrapped tightly around your waist. He bit your neck and sucked dark red hickies. He pulled one of nipples with his teeth "such pretty nipples baby". Your make up that your mom did for you was running down your face. Your mascara running down your face, your lip gloss smeared every where even on bajis lips. "Ahh~ kei~ i- I love yoooou~" you moaned with your head thrown back, clinging on him. Baji grinned before letting out a grunt "i-i know baby- fuck- your gonna cum aren't ya? Can feel you clenching- ooh Fuck~" he pulled your hair and kissed your roughly, shoving his tongue down your throat. He looked down at where the two of you were connected and he almost came right then and there seeing the white ring forming around his cock. Your clung onto him more arching your back. "Hmmpf- feels so good kei~" you boosted his ego. He smirked holding you tightly, his pelvis snapping on yours. His thrusts started getting sloppy and before you knew it, you were shaking as you came all over his cock. He thrusted few more times and pulled out as he released his seeds on you tummy. He rolled off towards your side as you were panting "fuck, that was amazing" you nodded. He got up from his bed and gave you one of his shirts that was so dam big on you. Without showering or washing up, he came back to bed and pulled your small frame towards him. You hugged his large torso while he hugged you tight in his arms. "Hey tomorrow ken and mitsuya are coming over, you remember them right, well let them play with you ok." You happily nodded your head, anything to make your favourite cousin happy. He smiled "good girl, your still my small baby ok" it was clearly a statement and not a question. "Am not a big girl?" You asked looking up at him with your doe eyes. He let out a deep chuckled "nah, your my small little baby cousin" he kissed the top of your head. You hid your face in his bare chest in embarrassment. "But don't tell your mom ok, or you won't be favourite cousin anymore" you agreed, after all he is your favourite cousin, kei.

pleasepleaseplease tag your non-reader friendly posts correctly, I'm tired of thinking one post is an "x reader" but the mc is an oc 🥲🥲🥲🥲
yes we can just imagine ourselves in the oc's place but I'm telling y'all it doesn't hit as hard as reader-insert's 😓
actually this is kinda all applies under the not tagged correctly posts where they get tagged as "male" reader but the content in it is afab 😢 or the non gender-neutral ones getting tagged in a gendered post

The truth
—Yandere!Bonten x motherly!reader (platonic)
—Summary: an accident makes you more aware of reality even though you already knew it, but what can someone like you do?
—Warnings: blood, kidnapping, obsession, toxic behaviors, harassment
I never thought this would go so far as to have five parts but... here we are! 🫣 (maybe this part is a bit long, srry)
@boycigs there you go!! 🫶🏻
Part one / Part two / Part three / Part four
Tumblr media
You fumbled with the wall for the light switch, your tired eyes playing with you and making you almost trip over a blanket that had been thrown on the floor.
You yawned stretching your back, you had been working on some files that Kokonoi asked you to correct, you fell asleep without dinner and your stomach decided to wake you up at this time of night.
Luckily you had some leftovers from today's lunch, everyone had come to eat despite it being your 'day off', but since they had been busy with work more than usual lately, they couldn't spend as much time with you as they would like, although that didn't stop them from hiding cameras in your apartment to check that everything was okay from time to time.
A knock at the door made you frown, remembering the first time you met Sanzu. You walked slowly, expecting to run into him, or even one of the Haitani brothers who ran brothels near the area, it wouldn't be the first time they've come home drunk after a good night.
When you opened it, confusion flooded your face, there was no one there, not a note, nothing, you thought that maybe you were still too sleepy and you had hallucinated, or maybe it was some late-night teenager making a joke. You shrugged shutting to go back to your dinner, but before you knew it or could make a move something hit you in the back of the neck, knocking you unconscious, the last thing you saw was a few blurry faces, but none you knew in the slightest.
Panic, panic was the first thing Mochizuki experienced when he saw the recordings from the cameras installed in your house. He had to do a checkup the next morning and just seeing how careless they had been to let that trash kidnap you made his thoughts turn to disgust and guilt.
Not even five minutes after seeing that, all the executives were gathered in their meeting room, no matter where they were, they all got there instantly upon answering Mochi's call.
"And if I pause right here..." Mochi stopped the video just as two men lifted your unconscious body "this guy here, on his neck, his tattoo is from another band."
"Those bastards have been giving us so much trouble lately, I'm looking forward to seeing blood drain from their brains."
Sanzu slammed both hands on the table, completely irritated and concerned for your well-being, he was controlling his urge to go looking for you only because Mikey had remained silent with a blank stare throughout the entire meeting.
The Haitani brothers were already warming up to fight, Takeomi was mobilizing some men to search your apartment for clues while Koko and Kakucho were trying to find where your chip signal was. Yes, although unknown to you, they decided to insert a tracking chip into you a while ago just to know where you were when they couldn't be around.
The signal was bad, either because you were too far away from their location or because you were somewhere underground, which didn't help much. They were all probably on the verge of hysteria, the search wasn't going fast enough as they'd like and it only made their mood worse.
It took at least five days for them to come up with any solid leads to your whereabouts, the worst five days of their existence, the poor people or employees who will come across any of them probably aren't alive anymore. Mikey locked himself in and refused to come out unless they heard from you, he barely ate and his sleep schedule got even worse.
"Are you sure it's there?"
"Yes, several of our men have seen these guys with the same tattoo come and go, it doesn't appear to be their central base but it's hidden enough to carry out kidnappings."
Takeomi pointed to a warehouse on the outskirts of the city, everyone mobilized to go there immediately, even Mikey and Kokonoi, who didn't usually get their hands dirty with this kind of work, decided to go.
As for you... it was confusing the first day you woke up, the feeling of a gun pointed at your head became familiar as did the ropes on your wrists and ankles. Your reaction upon seeing the criminals was to release an inaudible sigh, without fear or surprise, your state was neutral.
You knew it, you knew that sooner or later this was going to happen, as much as your guys will try to hide you from problems with other mafias, there are always some leaks, and playing with loved ones from enemy gangs is the easiest card to play to threaten. Although in this case they didn't even have time to issue a threat to Bonten when they had already been threatened by your kidnapping.
The following days were threats to your people to try to get information that could put Bonten in trouble, as well as planning to move to another of their hideouts, however you were unaware of most of the things that Bonten did, although you were their secretary, you were only in charge of planning schedules and correcting some superficial reports from Kokonoi, you were not much help to these scoundrels.
"Damn! I don't understand how they could have protected you so much if you're just a useless old woman, you're useless! Why the hell do those guys hold you in such high esteem...?"
In the outburst of anger as he took it out on you, the sound of his hand slamming into your cheek sounded as the door above fell off its hinges.
"Boss, we have a prob-!"
The eye of the man who was coming down the stairs was blown out thanks to a bullet, landing right between your feet, you closed your eyes and, no matter if you don't believe in any god or anything, you prayed, not for you, but for what all these people did not suffer such a painful death.
You knew what Bonten men were capable of, at first you thought you were exaggerating, but that was the truth and at times, it terrified you. You were terrified to think of all the lives that left this world just because of you, your boys were more than gangsters, more than just criminals, they were monsters looking for any excuse to kill, and you were that excuse.
You knew that there was nothing in this world that would make you reverse time to the point of not having helped that drunk guy at the door of your house, you knew that nothing would make all those men leave your side because of showing your kindness, you knew that no kind of therapy could help such rotten minds at this point, so you could only swallow, as scared as you were, as much as your legs trembled, you had chosen this path yourself and you had to accept it.
"Mom..."
Your breath quickened slightly as you felt Sanzu's cold hand resting on your cheek, you slowly opened your eyes to see pure relief reflected in his, ignoring the bloodstains on his clothes and face, and even ignoring the blood he was leaving on your face, you smiled at him.
"I'm fine guys, I'm… fine."
You had to swallow and avoid getting dizzy from the smell of oxide in the place, your memories are blurry when you try to remember when you left there, you remember seeing many practically mutilated bodies, a river of blood and many arms holding your body as if you were going to disintegrate at that precise moment.
After you were rescued, you spent at least two days in a hospital at Kokonoi's request to see that you didn't have any injuries, everyone turned to you with questions about how you were doing, especially mentally.
It became suffocating, the amount of attention you received after that event, made you understand that, from now on, you could not have a single moment for yourself, no matter the job, the time or the place, you will always have one of them on top of you to keep an eye on you.
It doesn't matter if you complain, the truth, which you had to accept once again, is that nothing but death could separate you from these men, because they were not willing to let you go, ever. But the worst of all is that you accepted it, you accepted your fate, a fate that was sealed a long time ago, you accepted that you lived with monsters, that you helped and treated horrible people like completely sane people, but, an ordinary person like you, no could change anything.
"How long until the cake is ready?"
"Don't be impatient Rin, it's only been in the oven for five minutes."
"That's already a long time..."
"Shut up, you're always so impatient!"
"Are you looking for a fight!?"
"Kakucho, could you...?"
A nod from him made you sigh in relief, breaking up the Haitani brothers' fight as you sat at the table with the others who were talking about random topics. You stared into your teacup, your blank stare imagining imaginary scenes of another lifestyle in the steaming liquid.
"Are you ok? You seem distracted."
You looked at Kokonoi, keeping your gaze off without focusing on his face, you nodded with a slight smile when you saw that everyone had shut up to look at you.
"Yeah, I just didn't sleep well today."
"We'll buy a new bed then."
"I did not mean that..."
And like many things in your current life, your opinion was thrown away just to bring you more 'comfort'. You had no power and that was the absolute truth, nothing could change at this point.

[Daddies in December] Haitani Rindou
I feel like I make these Tokoyo Rev baddies into softies...
Warning: soft Rindou, smut
.
Aside from getting blood splatter on his nice and expensive as hell suits, the next thing that Rindou hated was when Y/n was upset with him and her cold shoulders.
The first time she was upset with him and gave him cold shoulders (which implied no sex and no talking, he couldn’t even hold her hand) he nearly went mad. He never had an issue wooing a woman back after making her mad but Y/n held her fucken ground. She would not forgive him until he explained how he learned from the lesson and how he was going to do better.
The damage he took to his pride just for her forgiveness.
Since then, in their two-year relationship, he ensured that if it was a mistake on his behalf, he would own up to it and apologize immediately.
Earlier that day he was fine, his day was going well but it wasn’t until he received a text message from her asking what he wanted for dinner and he responded, it’s up to you.
His fucken thumb tapped the send button too fast before his brain could register that she did not like that response.
“Well if it was up to me, I wouldn’t be asking you in the first place?”
Her reply was received five minutes later, okay.
Okay.
Rindou exhaled deeply, her reply sat heavily on his mind. It was neither good nor bad but he couldn’t tell by her tone if she was upset and annoyed at his response.
His palm was sweaty as he gripped the large and obnoxious bouquet and headed home. He wasn’t even sure why he was nervous, he just knew something was different about Y/n and he hated that he couldn’t figure it out. With her, she was always keeping him on his toes.
Her emotions were all over the place now that she was pregnant.
One minute she’s happy he is home and the next minute she’s mad because the kitchen shears aren’t sharp enough and the next minute, she’s sad with tears streaming down her cheeks about the squirrels being cold in the middle of winter.
He knew very little about pregnant women, had to purchase two books, and educated himself when he was at work.
“Are you… fucken reading?” Ran burst out laughing when he entered the board room and found Rindou engrossed in a book. When his younger brother didn’t bother to jab him back with a snarky response, he picked up the second book and his eyes widened. “Y/n is pregnant?”
“Yes,” Rindou murmurs, “maybe you should also read too, I saw a book on how to be an uncle.”
Their apartment was quiet and that upped Rindou’s nervousness.
“Baby?” he called softly, toeing off his shoes. “Y/n? Love? Where are you?”
“In the kitchen.”
His long legs took him straight into the kitchen where he presented his bouquet. He opened his mouth, like a child ready to present a present to their mom but when he saw her tear-streaked face, he tossed the bouquet on the table in front of her and was immediately at her side. “What happened? Who do I need to kill?”
She wiped her eyes with the back of her hand but Rindou was faster, reaching to wipe her tears away.
“It’s not that…” she muttered.
“What made you and baby sad then?” he rephrased, one hand cupping her cheek while the other rubbed her belly which was just beginning to show.
Instead of answering, Y/n turned to point at the counter a few feet away. He stood up and face contorted. “Onions?”
“I was trying to make dinner but accidentally cut off the butt of it and couldn’t finish chopping the onions before I started crying.” She continued to wipe her eyes, “goodness that fucken stings.”
Rindou’s lips tremble before he laughs wholeheartedly.
Y/n shoulders shook as she joined him, laughing hysterically.
“God, I love you.” He kissed her softly, “never a dull moment with you.” Y/n moans against his mouth, her hand quickly undoing the buttons of his dress shirt and he chuckled. “Needy?”
“Just a little…” she pulled away, glancing at his swollen lips she just hungrily nipped at. “I had a dream about you.”
Rindou stood up, pulling her up and tugging her along as he led them to the couch. He pulled her down his lap, “do tell me, what was it about?”
Y/n’s hand rests over his heart, feeling the beats beneath her palm. “You were fucking me…”
“Hmm?” he urged her to continue.
“You… were holding me, your strong arms,” she touched his muscular bicep, “supporting my weight and pounding hard into me while I hold on to your shoulders…”
Rindou’s eyes darken as he nods his head, “ah, is that so?”
Y/n nodded, she reached to brush his lower lip with her thumb. “I’ve been thinking about it all day…”
Rindou nipped her thumb before soothing it with his tongue, “what should I do about it?”
She looks up at him, “I think you should fuck me like how you did in my dream?”
“You would like for me to turn it into a reality?”
“Yes please,” she whispered.
He nodded his head with a small smirk, “anything you want.” He pinched her chin between his finger and thumb, bringing her face closer until he could kiss her again.
Without breaking their kiss, he guided her to straddle his lap, his hands slipping underneath her shirt, feeling the warmth of her naked skin. He cupped her breast through her bra before they slid behind to undo the claps. Rindou pulled away from their heated kiss, to tug her clothing off.
His lips pressed against her collarbone, tongue running up to her throat. “You want my cock? Then take me out then.”
Her hand reached for his pants, tugging at his belt and button before pulling the zipper painfully slow. His cock was already erect, bulging against the materials of his boxers. Her hand slid inside, stroking his cock.
Rindou's head rests against her chest as he groans already underneath the touch of her hand. “Faster, baby…”
Her hand fastened until he felt himself ready to combust. He gripped her wrist, “hurry and strip so I can fuck you like your dreams.”
Y/n quickly scrambles to stand, pushing down her jeans and underwear.
Rindou leaned forward, pressing a kiss to her small bulging belly. “You look so fucken sexy pregnant.”
Her fingers threaded through his neatly combed hair, “even when I become bigger?”
“Hmm,” he agreed, standing up to push his pants and boxers down.
In one swift movement, he picked her up, her legs and arms locking around his body. “Let’s make your dream come true, ‘eh?” He lowered her and thrust into her at the same.
Y/n hugged him close, legs tightening around his waist. Her breath shook as she clamped around his cock. “Feels – feels just like my dream…”
Readjusting his arms, he hooked them behind her knees and began to slowly rock her on his cock.
“Rin…” Y/n moaned, her clit rubbing against his patch of trimmed public hair. Rolling her hips, she took him deeper doing so, “yes… yes, Rin!”
Rindou grunted, thrusting harder that their living room was filled with the sound of slapping skin.
Y/n’s back arched as she tightened around him, cumming.
Groaning, Rindou thrust a few more times before he came. He can feel his cock tugging with each spurt of cum. He maneuvered his arms to support her weight. “Bath?”
She nodded, her head still buried against the curve of his neck.
Kicking their clothes aside, he slowly walked towards the hall down to their room. With each step, he felt her clamp around him, making him flinch.
“If you keep squeezing me like that, I’m going to get hard again.”

TOKYOREV BOYS WHEN YOU NOTICE THE SMALLEST THING ABOUT THEM
Tumblr media
CHARACTER(S): Rin . Izana . Baji
WARNING/S: >
Tumblr media
Rindo Haitani
As the younger Haitani, Rin was not always in the spotlight, not as much as his brother anyway. therefore, it didn't surprise him when people don't pay much attention to him.
It was just a random day when he decided to change his usual circular glasses into a different color and replace his previous silver earing after losing them. It was a subtle change and he was not having his hopes up that someone would notice, but still, it would have been nice to know that someone was paying attention, even if it was just his brother.
but the older Haitani have no clue about it, what's even more of a bummer was the fact that he bump into you earlier, made small talk and even you seem not to notice, and there goes his hope crashing down.
"what got you all grumpy so early in the morning?" Ran smirks, after noticing his brother's gloomier aura. which the younger Haitani only groaned in response, he knew telling his brother about his 'childish' reason would only constitute teasing.
Ran was about to say something when you came running towards them, only stopping when you were right in front of Rin who looks a little surprised seeing you, after all, you just bid him goodbye not so long ago.
you catch your breath before smiling brightly at him "I forgot to say earlier, I love the new glasses and earrings"
his eyes widen a fraction, "wha-"
"you look great! see yah!" you disappeared as quickly as you appeared, but your words left lingering feelings in Rin. did you run back just to say that to him? were you paying that much attention to him just like he does?
Rin felt his face get hotter as he covers half of his face with his hand, in an attempt to cover his reddening face and the quirk up of the corners of his mouth. the moment however was ruined as he felt a hand around his shoulder coming from the older Haitani.
"oh ho, ~ is that why you're so down? you thought your older didn't notice your new style?"
"get lost!"
Maybe someone does keep notice of him. someone's opinion he only cared about.
Tumblr media
Izana Kurokawa
It bewildered Izana a little when he came back to the hideout with a new hairstyle, his straight short bleach-blond hair was now curled into wavy hair, yet no one seems to comment about it or rather notice it.
he didn't know if it was because everyone keeps their eyes focused on the floor when talking to him or if they just don't care enough to take down every detail about him.
more bewildering for Izana was the fact that even Kakucho, his most trusted friend who was always with him didn't notice the subtle change, was his change so dull that no one notice it.
Izana was a confident leader, but even something like this can plummets anyone's confidence. he did spend hours curling his hair, he wasn't looking for attention but this just proves that no one around him was paying enough attention to him.
his gloomy day, however, changed when you visited the hideout, bringing color and positivity to the dull place. your eyes quickly looking all over to find him, a sparkle on your eyes when it landed on him.
"I like your new hairstyle" you commented, quickly having Kakucho and those within earshot whip their direction towards you two. "It suits you very much"
the slightest smile appears on his lips as he unconsciously took a strand of his wavy hair between his fingers. feeling satisfied for some reason.
"Now that y/n said it, you do look different" Kakacho commented, Izana's smile quickly dropping down at the comment as his usual cold face immediately resurface.
"shut up"
But the most bewildering of it all was how a single compliment from you have him feeling confident and happy for the following weeks
Tumblr media
Keisuke Baji
When people meet Baji the first thing that came to their mind is that he's a hothead, which is true. he always resorts to violence before anything else to the point that people label him as a tough guy.
but even for a tough guy, he has things he doesn't like, things he never says to anyone, or secrets to keep his tough-guy image as a delinquent. It was the usual day, the gang hanging out in their favorite family restaurant which equals a ruckus.
while everyone was engaged in a conversation, with you commenting from time to time, Draken kept notice of you picking vegetables from Baji's plate from time to time.
"Y/n, what are you doing?" he asked while you were midway jabbing a vegetable from Baji's plate. everyone around the table, including the Toman's captains, stops their conversation to stare at you with a vegetable jab in a fork in hand.
Baji especially now noticing that all you were eating were vegetables, he did notice you taking food from his plate, he didn't mind it one bit, thinking you just wanted to taste his, but now that Draken mentioned it, he was curious himself.
"huh? oh, this? Keisuke doesn't like simmered vegetables so I'm eating it?" you carefully replied, a little conscious with all the eyes now on you and the forked vegetable "he's not gonna eat them anyway…"
"…unless you actually wanted it?" you asked, slightly turning to the side to face Baji, jerking the forked vegetable towards him.
Baji stared at the simmered vegetable you were offering, he hated it, like he hated all simmered food much less a simmered vegetable, which he told no one about. yet here you were, paying attention to things that make him uncomfotable, things he don't like. no one has been considerate of him before that he can't help but hug you back, earning a loud cheer from everyone.
"Thanks y/n!"
"eh? - baji too tight!"
"Baji's hugging Y/n!" Mikey shouted while Chifuyu took out his phone to capture the moment.
sometimes noticing the smallest detail of someone can make a huge difference.

Beware: bottom text leads to darker themes, as the story progresses! ♡

“What, the hell, are you doing, Ryusei?” Baji aggressively whispered.
“C’mon it’s fiine! All I did was invite her out with us!” The taller boy laughed. “It’s not like you have anything to hide anymore.” He grinned pointedly at his blonde friend, who bashfully looked away. “I already apologized, damnass..” Chifuyu muttered.
Baji clicked his tongue in annoyance, fussing with the back of his head in agitation. “Whatever. Arcade is canceled.” Baji waved off, leaving no room for discussion. “What!” Replied a displeased grunt.
“I was looking forward to going, though.” You announced with crossed arms. “And stop trying to disinclude me, it’s very rude!”
“You act like you got any say in the matter, shorty.” Baji waved your attitude off with a huff. He really was stubborn, acting this way. “Last time I checked I can make my own decisions, Keisuke.” You rolled your eyes at him, linking arms with Chifuyu.
“Cancel yourself if you’re gonna be a prude,” you gave Baji a teasing smile. “But Arcade and Karaoke sounds like a great way to spend my Saturday night.”
Baji became stunned at your blatant shots against him, mouth agape at your new demeanor. “That’s right!~ Pizza’s on me!” Ryusei laughed in reply, draping his arm around your shoulders; lazily observing his captain’s next actions.
Baji tensed up at this notion. “That’s not what I meant..!” He spat, giving an exasperated sigh. “Whatever, what the hell.” Baji finally returned the teasing grin, dropping his glasses into the pocket of his shirt. “Looks like I get to school you in something for a change.”
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯✦
Once Baji finally came around, the day out went fantastic.
Chifuyu and Ryusei would get into an altercation every so often, but your blank stare paired with Baji’s threatening one seemed to keep the two in check.
“How are you so good at pin ball?” Chifuyu marveled at Ryusei’s high score. “I’m good at everything Chifuyu~” Ryusei bragged before settling you forward. “Your turn, pretty girl. Let’s see what you got.”
Blushing over the use of this overly affectionate nickname, you shrugged. “I don’t think I’ve played this before,” you admitted, checking the machine for all its buttons. “The concept is easy enough, I guess.”
Baji subtly pushed Ryusei, glaring. “Watch it,” he whispered to the other. “Make her uncomfortable and you die.” He spoke like a promise.
Ryusei readjusted how close he stood next to you, embarrassed at how clueless he felt. Ryusei’s own crush on you was slipping, and as oblivious as Baji was to signals, the overall closeness between you two was making his blood boil. “Sorry boss,” Ryusei whispered.
You’d been distracted by the game and Chifuyu’s little tips and tricks, he hovered his finger above the glass. “This tunnel gets you a bunch of points, so try aiming there!”
Smiling sweetly at Chifuyu’s innocent grin, you elbowed him affectionately. “Thanks chi! Here I go!” You hyped yourself up, putting in the token.
It took a little bit of trial and error, but before long, you were scoring higher and higher numbers, seemingly never losing the pin ball. “No way!” Chifuyu laughed with a huge grin.
“You’re freaking awesome, Y/n!”
The blonde’s praise boosted your ego, a wider grin setting in. “Check this,” you grinned back, flicking the nozzle just right to trap the pin ball, earning an overarching highscore.
“No shit!” Baji howled, ruffling your hair in praise. “Look’t that, new high score. The hell can’t you do?!” You embraced his words, leaning into his hand. “I wanna try that next,” you pointed, crossing the boys’ gaze across the arcade.
MORTAL KOMBAT2
All three of them smirked. A fighting game. How ironic.
The four of you blazed past all the games, winning more than most and poking fun against eachother failures. Ryusei’s car racing skills was no joke. Chifuyu had a sharp eye for point and shoot games, and of course Baji’s favorite, were fighting games. (despite being his favorites, he didn’t seem to not be very good at them)
“THIS IS BULLSHIT!” He shoved the machine backwards, earning some nervous glances. “I totally—-!” Baji yelled, turning to complain further, but halted at your quirked brow, apparently amused.
Chifuyu noticed Baji’s wordless response, face turning red with frustration from losing his seventh round of MK2. “I’m hungry! Ryusei, treat us to pizza!” Chifuyu distracted the group, for his captain’s sake.
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯✦
The night’s escapades came to an end after long, the four of you laughing in unison.
“Thanks for inviting me out guys, it was really fun!”
Ryusei chuckled and wrapped his arm playfully around your shoulders, pulling you into him. “You’re the one who made the outing fun, princess~ Really surprised me with that death metal voice though.”
You laughed, clearing your strained voice. “I admire many music genres! Metal happens to be particularly entertaining!”
Chifuyu failed in attempt to hide a laugh.
“Your genre tastes sure are interesting, y/n!”
Baji seemed to recall something suddenly. “Speaking of, I just finished Volume 12 for Berserk, mind if I trade off for Volume13?” He asked you, earning a gasping reply. “You were supposed to finish NaNa! No more trade offs until you’ve gotten through what you already have!”
“Everyone, heads up!~” Ryusei flipped out a cell phone, amused.
“Come on boys, let’s take a photo to commemorate our Triple Date~” he declared jokingly, earning a harsh ‘ehh?!’ from Baji— and a wide grin from Chifuyu’s huddled closer form.
The photo encapsulated was a little dark and a little blurry, but clear enough to make out your confused face being pushed cheek-to-neck with Ryusei, Chifuyu’s bashful grin to the right of you, holding up a peace sign. And, slightly in the background, captured Baji mid-yell, canines full on display.
The photo Ryusei took, and kept as his cell phone background.
The photo that got you wrapped up in this whole mess.

“Who’s the girl, Ryusei?” Kojiro spoke menacingly quiet.
“Is she your friend? Really?” He scoffed, eyes flaring when he swung his fist against Ryusei’s cheekbone again.
“Thought that little tramp was Baji’s girl. You’re telling me you’ve been friends with her this whole fucking time?!”
He yelled, pulling white hair tightly.
“No…” he narrowed into Ryusei’s crying face, alone and vulnerable with no one but Kojiro for witness.
“No… that’s right.” Kojiro smiled.
“You were never friends. You’ve been planning this for a while; right?” Kojiro cradled the injured boy in his hands lovingly.
“You were never friends. You were getting her to trust you. Nothing more.” He cooed.
“You always were the more charming of us two in that regard, I suppose.”
“So tell me, Ryusei. Who is Y/n L/n to Baji Keisuke?”

“Kgosi! Be careful love!”
The little tot’s shrieking laughter can be heard in response, his tiny feet carrying him towards you.
A large smile plastered across your face, you crouch, arms open expectantly. Kgosi tosses himself into your embrace, giggling happily and gesturing to be lifted.
Standing, you bring your baby boy with you, holding him gently but firmly and twirling a couple times in place. Again, that familiar laugh that never fails to warm your heart can be heard in Kgosi’s excitement.
“Yay! Again!” Your baby claps, the movement clunky and uncoordinated what with his chubby hands.
“Noo, not again baby. Mama’s a little dizzy.” Kgosi frowns but his disappointment is quickly forgotten when he recognizes where you’re carrying him.
The baby’s face lights up, black eyes twinkling with newfound mirth.
“Swing mama, wanna swing!”
You place Kgosi safely in the bucket swing, lightly flicking the fat of one of his cheeks and chuckling as he shies away with a bright smile and yet another tiny giggle.
“Hold on tight ok?” Kgosi nods determinedly, little hands gripping the rubber coated chains on either side of him.
“Ready mama!” Nodding, you take your place behind your son, pulling the swing up and back until the seat rests just above your head. You’re preparing to let go when a voice from behind startles you.
“Miss __ __?”
In your surprise you release the seat, your son’s shrieks of joy sounding as he swings back and forth.
Turning, you face the man whom the voice belongs to, and you're shocked and a little disturbed to see he's a large scar running almost the circumference of his head, pale against his skin and visible though he stands a distance away from you.
He’s dressed in all black, and you can see his eyes moving as he watches your son.
Stepping into the man’s field of vision, you lay your arms defensively across your chest, expression flat and unamused.
“That depends. Who’s asking?”
The black clad man’s eyes snap up to your face, and for a moment, you two engage in a tense stare down.
Eventually, he relents, sensing that you weren’t going to.
“I am here on behalf of Manjiro Sano. He wishes to hold an audience with you.”
A sudden, sharp bolt of lightning zips down your spine upon hearing that name.
It had been quite literally years, and you’d not heard hide nor hair of the once invincible man.
You’d managed to convince yourself that that was a good thing.
“Why?” That one single word is so loaded with other lingering questions and feelings and anger that the man shifts uncomfortably.
“I was only told to deliver the message, nothing more.”
You can tell the man knows more than he lets on, but refrains from saying anything else. Perhaps out of a sense of respect for Manjiro. Perhaps out of a subconscious desire to spare you the details.
Whatever the reason, you find yourself a little peeved that he won’t spill, but nevertheless, you acquiesce.
“Fine. But I’m taking my son somewhere safe first.”
“Actually,” the scarred man moves to take a step forward, quickly aborting the movement when you equally as quickly step back, feeling behind yourself for Kgosi.
“Stay there. I don’t want you any closer to my son.”
The man nods, returning to his previous position.
“Actually,” he begins again, one hand slightly outstretched as a sign of submission. “The King requested that you bring your son along. He wishes to see him as well.”
Upon hearing Mikey be addressed as “The King,” you lift a disbelieving brow.
“Really? He’s having you refer to him as “The King?” You know, I become more glad everyday that he left me alone.”
You’re more so speaking to yourself, and the man clears his throat to draw back your attention.
“When you’re ready, I will escort you both to the designated meeting place.”
With that, the man turns and begins walking off, your eyes watching him closely as he does.
Turning, you finally address Kgosi, who has long since stopped swinging and has, rather uncharacteristically, been quietly watching the entire exchange.
“Who dat mama?”
Unsure of how exactly to answer the question, you respond with the first thing that comes to mind.
“He’s one of daddy’s friends baby.”
At the mention of his father, little Kgosi begins to bounce excitedly where he’s still seated.
“Daddy yay!”
Despite your gripe with the man, you can’t help the sad smile that curls your lip at your son’s enthusiasm.
‘If only you knew, son…’
It takes a bit to get Kgosi situated and gather up your belongings, but once you do, you find the scarred man leaned against a nearby tree, arms folded across his chest, awaiting your approach.
"Ready?” He queries, standing to his full height.
You give one solemn nod, following when the man beckons.
The ride is a quiet one: neither you nor the man asks questions. The only sound is that of your son’s absentminded babbles as he plays with his car toys and the occasional “look mama!” when you pass something he finds particularly interesting outside.
You try to keep as engaged as possible, but your mind is running a thousand miles a minute.
‘What on Earth could Manjiro want with us now?’
After about 30 minutes and seemingly endless pondering, you arrive at a little house on the outskirts of the city. It’s not a place you immediately recognize, and this causes you some alarm.
“Why did he want us brought here?” The question comes out more severe than you intended for it to. The man side eyes you, hesitating before speaking.
“The King thought that perhaps you’d be more comfortable and apt to talk somewhere that was a little more quaint and a little less busy than his usual residence.”
“Less busy than his usual residence, you say? I can only imagine the shit he gets into.”
“Lang’ge mama!” Your son gasps, causing you to chuckle.
“Sorry baby, you’re right. Mama should watch her language.”
The man watches silently, trying to suppress a small smile at your interaction with your son.
“Right this way.”
Once you’ve all exited the car- presumably something expensive now that you’ve paid it any real attention- you begin making your way up the porch steps to the front door.
Kgosi insisted on walking himself, so your right hand is occupied by his left. The scarred man offered to carry your bag, and you let him, figuring he had no want or need for diapers and coloring books.
The trek up to the door seems endless, and you attribute that mostly to nerves. It’s been so long since you’ve heard so much as a whisper about Manjiro and his current whereabouts and endeavors, let alone actually seen him.
Ken and the others looked for him for a time after he disappeared, but after some less than savory occurrences, of which you never got the full details, they left that pursuit alone.
“It’s-...it’s difficult, I know, but it’s better this way, __. Mikey clearly doesn’t want to be found.” Ken’s words were heavy and laced with a barely concealed sorrow.
You’d agreed at the time, even though the elusive man lingered in your thoughts on occasion.
Now you were faced with the prospect of meeting him in person again after so long and after so much had transpired.
And not just you, but your son as well.
Releasing a breath you weren’t aware you were holding, you take more confident steps into the foyer, lightly squeezing Kgosi’s hand to calm him from where he bounces excitedly on his feet. You’re in the process of removing your and Kgosi’s shoes when the man speaks.
“One moment. Please, feel free to peruse this area while I step away.”
Before you’re given the opportunity to respond, the man jets off, leaving you and Kgosi to wander around for a bit.
The house is indeed rather quaint; homey and sensible, while still containing modern fixtures and appliances.
You peek into the kitchen, finding it to be fully stocked and in pristine condition.
Not thinking too much about it, and at Kgosi’s insistence, you take a box of apple juice from the refrigerator and offer it to your son, making sure to throw away the plastic wrapping the straw came out of.
Moving along, you encounter what seems to be the first of two living areas.
It’s decorated in warm, neutral colors. The couch, upon sitting, is found to be very soft (Kgosi has a blast bouncing on it) and a large flat screen TV rests atop a stone fireplace.
Behind the couch is open space covered in a large, ornate carpet. Beside it, floor length windows showcase a lush, well manicured garden space, which your son seems quite eager to explore.
“Maybe a little later, son. I don’t want your clothes getting soiled or to track dirt.”
Kgosi pouts, but quickly goes back to enjoying his juice and bouncing on the couch.
You, on the other hand, resume being caught up in your thoughts.
You’re so caught up in fact, that you don’t immediately notice when the scarred man returns.
“Miss __?”
You jump just a bit at his sudden appearance.
Standing, you lift and tuck Kgosi against your hip, nodding to the man and following when he motions for you to do so.
You can practically feel your heart about to beat out of your chest the closer you get to the room where Manjiro presumably is.
Each step feels heavier than the last, until finally, the floor slips from underneath you entirely as you round the corner.
There sits Manjiro, your first love, and the father of your pride and joy.
“It’s been a while, hasn’t it, __?”
You’re too stunned to speak, though you can feel yourself subconsciously tightening your grip on Kgosi.
Surrounding Manjiro are three men, each more bizarre looking than the last. From where you’re facing him, on Manjiro’s right stands a pair of guys, both with black and purple hair, though one’s is longer and the other’s is gelled to the side. They resemble one another, and you assume they are, at the least, related.
On Manjiro’s left is perhaps the strangest looking man thus far.
His hair is bright pink, and he’s got two large, diamond shaped scars on either corner of his mouth. He sports a wide grin, and you quickly look away from him, deciding you don’t like the way he, or any of them for that matter, makes you feel.
Mikey simply watches as you observe his men, his dull, black irises remaining fixated on you and Kgosi.
“What do you want, Manjiro?” You speak suddenly, and the air in the room immediately shifts from tense to even more so.
“What do you mean, __? I clearly wanted to see you,” his eyes slide to Kgosi. “And our son.”
“Ok, but why now?” You grit out the words, becoming more agitated by the second.
Mikey doesn’t respond, refraining from moving for a second before he gestures to the seat before you.
“Why don’t you take a seat, love? You seem irritated.”
“I’m fine right here.”
“__, I’m asking nicely-”
“I said I’m f-...”
“Sit down!”
The sudden outburst catches you off guard, as well as Kgosi, who covers his ears.
“Loud mama!”
Breaking eye contact with Manjiro, you turn to Kgosi, placing a small kiss on his forehead. “I’m sorry baby,” you throw a pointed sidelong glance at Manjiro with your next words. “We’ll be more quiet.”
You think you can see the beginnings of a smirk start to shape Manjiro’s mouth, but the movement is quickly aborted.
The silence having returned, you slowly take a seat, adjusting Kgosi’s position in your lap. Mikey watches you closely the entire time, his eyes never leaving you or Kgosi’s forms.
“Now, that wasn’t so hard was it? Besides, sitting is much more comfortable than standing when you're carrying weight isn’t it?”
You’re not sure why Manjiro is asking such asinine questions, but you can’t help the urge to roll your eyes.
“I ask again, Manjiro, why now of all times did you apparently want to see us so badly?”
The man doesn't immediately answer, and you can feel your brow twitch.
"Does there have to be a specific reason as to 'why now?' It's not like you were doing anything particularly important right? I just felt this overwhelming urge to see my two favorite people."
You level Manjiro with a scathing glare.
"Your two favorite people huh? You don't typically just abandon your two favorite people with no explanation, especially not when they're your son and his mother."
You could swear the temperature in the room drops at least a little bit, your frosty ire palpable to everyone.
Manjiro simply smiles, but it doesn't quite reach his eyes. His jaw is clenched the most minute amount, and you can't help but feel some satisfaction that you struck a nerve.
“You’re completely right. This isn’t typically something you do. Unfortunately for us, our circumstances are anything but typical.”
You can’t suppress another eye roll, Kgosi shifting slightly on your lap. He’s been quietly eyeing the strange white-haired man for the entirety of the conversation thus far. He’s not quite sure, but he feels some sort of strange connection to him.
“It doesn’t matter what excuse you give, Manjiro. None of your wack ass machinations can justify your decision to abandon us.”
Manjiro is no longer smiling, instead his eyes are boring into yours. His jaw clenches even tighter.
“I only did what I did to protect you both.”
“From you, right? You and your little freakshow menagerie.” You let your eyes pointedly drift, to one by one land on the other occupants of the room. None of them seem too off-put by your choice of words; the pink haired one’s seemingly permanent grin even appears to widen.
“I mean come on, your little chauffeur here even insinuated it. The kind of crazy shi-,” your son gives you a glance, “stuff, you get up to in your normal residence. Look at you! You’re pale, bordering on sickly. The bags under your eyes are so deep and dark it looks like someone painted them on with black ink. I can see the beginnings of bruises on your arms and despite the air of authority you’re trying to maintain, I can tell you’re exhausted.”
You finally settle back in your chair from where you’d unconsciously leaned forward. Try as you might to suppress them, you can feel the tears beginning to build along your waterline.
“Why, Mikey? Why on Earth did you choose this life, this life of danger and misery, over us?”
It’s quiet for several long moments, and even the pink haired man is no longer grinning.
You and Mikey are locked in a severe staredown, but you can feel your resolve crumbling.
There’s nothing there.
Beneath his gaze, there lies only a dark emptiness, and you can’t help but feel that helping him now is beyond your power.
Just as you feel the first tear fall, you hear a tiny gasp, and quickly your son shimmies out of your grasp, running over to where Manjiro sits and smacking him on the arm.
“You make mama cry! Bad!”
The pink haired man makes moves to grab something from behind his back, but is quickly stilled by Mikey’s raised hand. You notice this exchange with no small degree of horror and disgust and anger, appalled at even the implication of what that man was trying to do.
Manjiro leans forward and down, meeting Kgosi’s determined stare with one of his own.
The two lock eyes for several seconds before Manjiro smiles, and this time, it does seem to reach his eyes.
“Good boy. I’m proud of you for protecting your mama.” Manjiro begins lifting a hand, and Kgosi immediately retreats back to you, only this time, he remains standing protectively in front of your legs.
“You a bad man! No touch!”
Manjiro lilts what sounds like a genuine laugh, and the tension in the room somewhat dissipates. You’re not 100% aware of it yet, but a pleased Mikey means less pain and less of a bad time for everyone involved.
“He’s brave! And smart too. You’ve done an excellent job raising him, __.” Black eyes, so similar to Kgosi’s own, flick down to his little form.
“Tell us your name, little guy.”
Kgosi hesitates, unsure if he should listen to the man who made his mama cry. He relaxes some when he feels your hand on his shoulder.
“It’s ok baby, you can tell them.”
It takes a moment or two, but eventually your son mumbles out “Kgosi,” before turning and gesturing to be lifted. You quickly oblige him, settling him in your lap, his head snuggled against your neck.
“Kgosi…a strong name. What does it mean?”
The words seem caught in your throat for some seconds, before you’re finally able to speak.
“It means King.”
Another laugh, this time louder and more raucous, escapes Manjiro, his head thrown back. The other men wear small smiles as well, all except the pink haired man, who goes back to sporting his large grin.
“It means King! How fitting. You truly are perfect. I knew you’d be an excellent mother.”
“And yet you left me. Left me to raise a child all on my own with no support, financial or emotional. Don’t think you get to laugh now and everything is just forgiven and forgotten. I’m still pissed at you, Manjiro. And I get the feeling I will be for a very long time to come.”
The tense atmosphere has returned, and Mikey has long since stopped laughing.
Instead of responding verbally, he stands, slowly making his way over to you. You can feel your baby shaking, and the thought that this man, who was supposed to serve as protector and provider, causes his own son to shake in fear makes you positively seethe.
Sensing your anger, Mikey stops just a few steps shy of you, and instead kneels down on one knee, never breaking eye contact with you.
“__. I know I’ll most likely never be able to make you understand why I left. I know that in your eyes, what I’ve done is…unforgivable. And I accept that burden as mine to bare. But all I ask, is that you put aside your rage, just for now, so that I may know my son.”
“You’re not entitled to him.” Your words shake around the edges.
“After what I’ve done, you’re absolutely right.” Manjiro lifts his bandaged right hand, placing it over his heart. “But I have no desire to possess you. Either of you. I only wish now to step up, and do what I should have done from the start.”
Manjiro extends his arms. “May I please hold our son?”
Time slows and seems to drag out endlessly.
Manjiro wasn’t there when Kgosi was born. He’s never gotten to hold him, though that was entirely his own fault.
You’d always dreamed of the day that he would, though. The day that Manjiro would sweep you both into his arms and cradle you protectively against his chest.
The day that he would return to you, fervent apologies and heartfelt whispers of love and adoration falling from his lips.
Snapping back to the present moment, you level Manjiro with a hard stare, before finally speaking.
“I suppose that’s fine. But, Kgosi gets the final say.”
Looking down, you address your son, who still watches Manjiro skeptically from the corner of his eye.
“Kgosi hun, do you mind letting daddy hold you?”
Everyone waits with bated breath to see what the little tot will say.
Eventually, after several lengthy seconds, Kgosi simply nods, and begins to wiggle out of your embrace. You let him go, watching with sad eyes as he carefully makes his way over to Manjiro, whose arms have remained outstretched for the entire exchange.
Slowly, Kgosi leans into Manjiro’s chest, and you could swear you see the muscle in the man’s exposed chest jump.
Manjiro immediately closes his arms tightly around Kgosi, gently resting his head on top of the boy’s. A shuddering, relieved sounding sigh can be heard from Manjiro, and he begins slightly rocking from side to side.
“My son, I’m so sorry.”
He lifts his head to address you, and you startle somewhat upon seeing the unshed tears lining Manjiro’s waterline.
“My love, I owe you an apology as well.”
You can’t speak, your throat constricting as you fight to hold back your own tears. Instead, you silently watch as Manjiro stands, lifting Kgosi with him. He takes measured steps towards you, finally stopping and kneeling down before you.
“My decision to do what I did, not even just towards you, but to everyone else I left behind as well, was incredibly selfish. But I truly thought it was for the best. I’m afraid I’ve fallen into the darkness, and I don’t foresee a way out. I would never wish to drag you along into this hell, and so I abandoned you, separated myself as far away from you as possible to protect you from the monster I’d become.”
The tears are falling steadily now, and you’ve the sudden great urge to snatch Kgosi and flee. Perhaps your eyes communicate some of this desire, because Manjiro leans forward, lowering his voice to almost a whisper.
“I’m not going to hurt you, __.”
A sob rips from your throat, and yet you’re able to remain relatively upright in your seat.
“You already have.”
Now it’s Manjiro’s turn to cry, silent streaks trickling down his cheeks, hidden from view of the other men in the room.
“I know, I know I have, and again, I am so sorry. I promise now though that I’ll be there for you, you and Kgosi both. You’ll never want for anything ever again- just say the word and you’ll have it, whatever it is you need.”
At this point, Kgosi is becoming a little restless. He whines quietly and wiggles in Manjiro’s grasp. The man looks to you for help.
“He’s sleepy. He hasn’t had his nap today.”
Nodding once, Manjiro hands him to you, Kgosi quickly adjusting himself and snuggling into your chest. You begin gently bouncing and rocking him, and soon the little tot is fast asleep in your arms.
Manjiro lovingly strokes a finger down Kgosi’s cheek as he sleeps, cooing very quietly as the boy subconsciously leans into the touch.
“He looks just like you.” He eventually says, eyes still fixated on the sleeping child.
“He’s got your eyes.” You speak in return, somewhat unsure of where that response came from.
Your heart still aches with the pain Manjiro’s caused, but that same pain, which once radiated sharp and persistent, has begun to fade to a dull echo. You don’t know that you’ve completely forgiven him yet, but as you watch him gaze upon your son with a glimmer of light in his eyes, you think you may be becoming more ok with the notion.
“I mean it, __.” Manjiro’s voice is stern, his expression determined when he turns to look up at you. “I may not always be there physically, but say the words, and I’ll come running.”
You search Manjiro’s face, eventually deciding that yes, he’s serious.
“Alright. But you had better uphold your promise. Else I won’t forgive you next time.”
Manjiro gives one slow, solemn nod of understanding. He stands, gesturing to the scar-headed man for something.
He brings it over quickly, and from where you’re sitting, it appears to be a paper sleeve with something in it.
Deciding against immediately launching into asking questions, you sit patiently while Manjiro unsheathes whatever’s in the sleeve out of your view, staring at it momentarily before turning and handing it to you.
Your eyes shift back and forth between the two, and you wait for an explanation.
“My other hand’s kind of occupied at the moment so I can’t take whatever this is out of the sleeve.”
Another gesture and the job’s done for you, and you do your best not to jostle Kgosi too much when you gasp.
“I-is that-...”
“Yes. It may seem a bit excessive, but this is the best of the best. And I want you to have nothing less.”
“People are bound to ask questions when I use this.”
“Then you’ll just have to tell them to fuck off and mind their own business, hm?” Manjiro smiles at you, and again, it doesn’t reach his eyes.
“Or,” he leans down, lips inches away from yours. “You could always tell them about how much of an excellent provider your husband is.”
You look away, flustered, and Manjiro laughs, the sound tinkling like a little bell in your ear.
You take the card, now back in the sleeve, from the scar-headed man’s hands, gingerly placing it in the breast pocket of your coat.
“Well I uh…thank you, Manjiro.”
The man hesitates, leveling you with a critical stare.
“No nickname for me?” You’re a little caught off guard by the question. Your brow furrows in confusion.
“What, you want me to call you Mikey?”
“No, I want you to call me-”
“I am not calling you daddy or some shit like that.”
A snicker can be heard from the purple haired men, which is quickly silenced by a look from Manjiro.
“No, call me like you used to. When we were kids.”
You rack your brain trying to remember what other name there could be when the memory comes crashing into you.
“Mani?”
Visible only to you, a bright blush colors Manjiro’s cheeks, his eyelids fluttering slightly.
“There it is. I knew you remembered. Call me that from now on, yeah?”
You roll your eyes but the movement is fond. “Sure.”
After that, the scar-headed man gathers your things, and you’re escorted to the front of the residence.
As you leave, you notice that Manjiro doesn’t follow, and panic briefly bubbles up in your chest.
“Manji-! Mani,” you quickly correct yourself. “W-...will we see you again?”
The man is silent for some seconds, and you fear he’ll say no, before he walks over to you, leaning down and forward and placing a tender kiss on your forehead.
“There’s a number on the inside of that sleeve. Memorise it, keep it somewhere safe. As I said before, whenever you need me, call me, and I’ll be right there.”
Manjiro sounds so certain, so reassuring, that for the umpteenth time today, you feel yourself about to cry.
A wobbly smile curves your mouth, and Manjiro returns it with a steadier one of his own.
“Remember you said that. I’ll be calling you pretty soon, you hear? Kgosi’s got his kindergarten graduation ceremony comin’ up and you had better be there.”
Mikey lifts his bandaged hand, laying it over his heart. “You have my word. Just send me the details when you get the chance.”
Satisfied, you turn and follow Mr. Scar out of the room and out to the car. Once you’ve got Kgosi settled, you turn to get into the passenger seat, finding Manjiro watching you from one of the windows.
You wave, and he returns it, and your heart begins to ache with the thought of having to be away from him again.
Pushing the pain aside, you slide into the front seat, and soon Mr. Scar is pulling out of the driveway.
The ride back proceeds smoothly, and some minutes into its duration, you turn to observe the scarred man.
At this point, you’re frankly sick of calling him that, so you decide to simply ask:
“What’s your name? No offense, but I’ve been calling you variations of “the scarred man” in my head since we met, and if it’s all the same to you, I’d like to stop doing that.”
The man’s eyes slide toward you before sliding back to the road.
“Kakucho. You can also call me Hitto if that’s easier.”
You think on it for a moment, before finally settling for a name.
“Kaku!”
The car swerves slightly at your outburst, and you laugh at Kakucho’s expression.
“What, you don’t like it? I tend to nickname all the people I consider close, and I assume we’ll be getting to know each other at least a little more now that I’ve reinstated contact with Manjiro.”
You smile at him, and you can see the man fight down a smile in return.
“Yes, I suppose so.”
“You can just call me __ by the way, no need for formalities.”
Instead of contesting, the man only nods, and you relax back in your seat.
It feels like it’s becoming easier, accepting the notion of forgiving Manjiro. You don’t know the full story, and you can’t deny that you’re still somewhat wary of who and what he’s become, but you know that you still hold love for him, even despite it all. And if he wants to be there for Kgosi, well, even better.

I’m obsessed with both of Tokyo Revengers hybrid fics, do you have any intention of writing many more?
👉👈🥺
Tumblr media
⋆⸜(ᐢ˙꒳˙ᐢ)  I did want to talk more about shepherd shinichiro. (keep beasts of burden in mind, but i didn’t write this reader to be the same as that reader.)
cw; hybrid!shinichiro. humping of furniture, reprimanding, intimidation (from shinichiro) and panty kink
I really do think he’s a good boy! He had a moment of . . . weakness is all.
Like he’s the kind of doggy to bring you a cup of coffee fresh in the morning, water if it’s a hangover, aspirin if you’ve got a headache. He is reliable end of, an encyclopedia of everything you more or less. Most of the times, it's great. Shinichiro fetching you your favorite snack after a hard day at work, knowing just what show will cheer you up and he gets to see you smile all wide, sing out of tune to a theme song he’s heard probably over a hundred times,
and all he wants is a pat on the head in return! Run your fingers along his scalp and hear a throaty groan pry itself from his chest, settling into a soft hum as you massage along his head, touching his black furred ears and petting, scratching gently along until you reach the tip. Everything starts at the top.
From his head he likes when your hands slide down his chest and caress his abdomen, makes his tail thud hard against the side of the couch whenever you got a good pet going, twists and turns into your touch until he’s exhausted your patience and you’re trying to shoo him away.
He just starts putting your hands wherever he wants you to pet him.
Starts at his head, of course.
And the touches never felt intimate until you realize how his excitement manifests in new ways now. Sometimes if your session is really really good for him, you’ll catch him humping pillows or furniture, taken over by an animal lust that deepens his desire for not just contact, but that bit of friction that relieves his aching cock, smears precum over the side of your couch covers and he’s never heard you bellow
“SHINICHIRO! NO!” like that before.
He doesn’t like it. He doesn’t stop his ministrations, humping his dick nice and rough and fast and when he looks up he sees your horrified gaze, a spray bottle of water in your hand that makes his lip curl.
The beginnings of a snarl as you brandish it, his claws digging into the cushion of the seat as a groan cuts through his train of thought, and he can only stare at you, your face wrinkled in abject terror. His tongue lolls out of his mouth as he rolls his hips teasingly slow, a breathy whimper escaping him as he gets closer to finishing, still refusing to look away from you.
You spray him.
He growls. It is bare animal, thundering in his chest and it feels like you’re treading on his territory - a wild wolf is before you, you're holding a gun and his hackles rise to the occasion.
It’s just water, but his whole demeanor changes. It's like the weather, a pleasant afternoon flipped on its head by an unexpected storm, and your house is flooding.
With tension. He's pulled so taught you think he might snap. He's making you nervous, and your shout of his name sounds too uncertain for him to take seriously. He's more interested in you now, looking to get back at you for your graceless slight, but you retreat to your bedroom faster than expected.
He scratches at your door, doesn't beg but tries to see if you'll submit again.
When you don't, he gets bored and forgets what he was mad about when he can go back to humping things around the house, without your meddling.
I think he can be petty though. He''ll act all nice when you do pop out, bow his head and whimper for belly rubs and treats, like normal. The house won't look different. Maybe a stain or two on the couch - nothing unfixable.
It's only when you go through your laundry that you noticed something's fucked, and you know it's bad when some of your panties are stuck together, the perverse musk thick enough to make you gasp, dropping them with a crude plop.
When you try and confront him, he's wagging his tail and smiling at you like he doesn't know exactly what you're thinking.
Shinichiro just had his moments of weakness… he just has needs you know? You should have taken that into consideration more before you got him ❤️

do you remember? part 1
a/n - hello! this is inspired by a tiktok edit. i mainly posted this to remind myself that i can write. i was planning to do more characters but it was becoming long.
part 2 - draken, baji, kazutora
part 3 - izana, ran and sanzu - this part is dark so please read the trigger warnings
concept - seeing her again, a person that they used to know.
starring - mikey, koko, chifuyu
Tumblr media
mikey doesn't like getting attached.
mikey already been scarred by losing his older brother at such a young age. emotions and feelings were a risk, another thing that could pull at his heartstrings if things went wrong.
it would be foolish to dive into a red light zone with a clear do not enter sign but he could never forget about you. the girl that caught his attention from his high school days.
she was just a nobody, another student in his class but he could never forget about her timid and shy smile. the popular girls would throw himself at him but he couldn't remember none of their name expect for the girl that he felt drawn to.
the time flew by and mikey still lived by that golden rule by just doing one night stand with girls that he would forget about the next day. he would leave without a goodbye since it wasn't needed. their phone calls would be block since clingy girls kept ignoring his hints.
but seeing her again behind the counter belonging to a coffee shop is something that he couldn't ignore. for the first time, mikey wanted to take another risk with someone but he was afraid that it would end into another tragedy.
the spark of moving on burned the thread of doubt as he made a order with the girl that he met many years ago.
Tumblr media
koko - saying something that couldn't be taken back.
koko couldn't remember the ignitor that destroyed everything with his fiancee. it must been a petty thing but enough for the anger to cloud his better judgement.
"you're only with me for my money."
a simple sentence. it was a mistake. she didn't see it that way. her slap caused koko's cheek to sting was a sensation that hurts him. but the tears that sprung to her eyes and removing the gold engagement ring from her finger and throwing it in his direction was the thing that kept haunting him.
but nothing could be done. his fiancee was not the forgiving type. a girl that inui introduced him during high school. a girl that he dated before he became successful.
the only woman that held his hand and accepted him despite not being able to offer her anything. she could never been with him for the money because he never had any when the relationship started.
she did not care. she just accepted him for who he was and she still didn't change despite his life beginning to change. the demands for materialistic things never arrived. a person that didn't switch on koko when his fortunates changed for the better.
a woman that could never be a gold digger. her true colours never came out because she didn't have any. getting the feelings of his fiancee to return is something that money could never buy.
the thing that he wanted the most but money couldn't fix it. koko tried moving on but the other girls were too shallow or would bash the lashes when they wanted him to get something for them.
their personalities switching when koko would say no or their complaints irked him. the man rather be alone and he chose that option but the loneliness would get to him.
koko may be rich but he was still just a person.
a man that kept yearning for a girlfriend that stayed with the rags version of him.
absence made the heart fonder and the failed attempts along with the years passing by made him realised he did the biggest mistake of his life.
it's been years. she is probably married and had started her own family.
a thought that brought koko pain where he should forget about the past but he couldn't.
not being able to let go caused him to recognise her straight away. an assistant decorating a mannequin of the designer clothing store that he just entered.
seeing her must be an illusion. she turned around when the manager called out her name and seeing the similar and comforting face caused the memories rushing back.
the first date. the first kiss. the yes. slipping on the engagement ring.
koko wanted to reach out again and locking his eyes with his ex fiancee could be the start of something new.
"sir, do you need my assistance?"
her formal question was directed at him.
koko was just a mere customer in her eyes.
Tumblr media
chifuyu - he couldn't control his insecurities.
chifuyu didn't know about the concept of casual. when the feelings start developing, his heart would always be attached to the flowers that he would give to the love of his life.
chifuyu couldn't confess. the aspect of uncertainty made him crawl back into the shell that hid the low self-esteem. being friends was better than creating a dent into the relationship with someone that would always be out of his reach.
his crush began noticing the slight differences, the stuttered answers, avoiding eye contact and the pause that would always happen before asking a personal question.
but she simply did not care.
she proved him wrong.
moving into together with the girl that captured his heart was no longer a dream but became the reality that he secretly wished for. he would wake up to see her soft sleeping form next to him along with planting a kiss on the top of her head.
the sweet fragrance of her hair became his favourite scent, another small cherished detail ingrained inside his heart. the perfect way to start the morning with the person that made his heart skip a beat.
the sunrise illuminating love couldn't be replace by the pitch black of the night. the strong foundation of trust couldn't be destroy by anything.
it will never happen.
the whispers of that she was falling in love with another student attending her university pinged into his direct messages. chifuyu just saw it as spam that he would just delete without opening it.
"get lost."
chifuyu tried stopping his girlfriend from storming out of the apartment but her death glare and the hostile tone froze him to the spot.
her cries startled chifuyu too much that he couldn't help but reach out for his phone since she left thirty minutes ago. a petty fight that spiralled out of control but he accidentally hit a nerve.
a simple apology would fix everything but seeing her phone next to his made him panicked. the time on the screen read out 11:30PM and the anxiety started forming.
a young woman is out at night without a phone to call for help. imaging the worst case scenarios made chifuyu dart for his grey coat along with shoving the phones into the pockets.
it was the worst time to get another message about the fake love interest that kept being spread around. chifuyu would ignore it but seeing the photo of his apparent love rival made him forget about the emergency.
he was too good looking. the fight made chifuyu think that it would be the end. unlocking her phone to check if she was messaging him was a moment of weakness.
"Chifuyu?" the blond spun around to see his love without a scratch on her. there was nothing to worry abo-
"What are you doing?" Chifuyu had forgotten about his treacherous act but seeing the betray glint in her eyes made him realised.
the damage was done.
the end of the most loving relationship that he ever had. chifuyu tried replacing the void but no one could replace her. chifuyu couldn't control his insecurities and he ended up hurting his true love. the innocent soul that did nothing wrong and chifuyu just couldn't forget about her but some people didn't deserve chances.
chifuyu knew he was one of them so he didn't begged her to stay and she didn't.
but the feelings couldn't be snuffed out no matter how hard he would try to stamp them out.
she was his first love but she was never coming back.
chifuyu tried to move on and he waiting to meet another girl for their date. a trip to the amusement park but seeing another figure walked pass him as he waited outside the train station.
his only one true love.
the feelings urged him to reach out and grab her arm. time heals everything and it's been years but chifuyu couldn't do it.
the guilt reminded him that it wasn't a good idea. chifuyu ran inside the train station.
he never like dealing with confrontation.

As always, please enjoy!
Tumblr media
The slight ringing in your ears had dulled out everything around you.
Your eyes were fixated on the sky, not a single cloud could be seen above. Like the gates were wide open for you to enter. No obstacles, no stairs, nothing between you and the endless cerulean sea that never failed to look beautiful every time.
The faint ringing created this humming effect, drowning out all and any noise. It was strange, it was almost comforting in a way you felt a sense of peace.
Your consciousness becomes like the ocean’s tide, rising and falling as time slows down. With your breathing becoming shallow with each passing second, you wondered if what you did would really change anything. What you did could really make a difference that changes everything forever. Takamichi is the only one that can time leap back and forth. Only he knows what you did affected the future. Yet were you able to live and see that reality yourself? Be alive and Takamichi telling you yourself?
Who knows, you wonder.
Face remained parallel with the sky and consciousness became faint, you were completely fazed out of reality. So out of it that you see two figures hovering over you. You can faintly hear bits and pieces of what they are saying, their voices muffled because your consciousness started to slide down the slope.
With blurry vision, you can make out the silhouettes of Emma and Takamichi. Emma, with big beads of tears in her eyes, has her hands covering her mouth to suppress her sobs. Her body shakes as she continues to cry, continuously shouting out your name. Takamichi isn’t any different. Panic and desperation was written all over him with his endless waterfall of tears. As he is hunched over your body, Takamichi continuously pleads for you to stay awake.
To stay with them.
You didn’t want to go, you wanted to stay with them. But your head throbbed and the aching feeling taking over your body, forming a response was something your body couldn’t do. Even blinking was hard because closing your eyes was tempting to enter eternal darkness forever.
As your two friends were desperate to save you and keep you leaving forever, your thoughts drift to Mikey and how he was dealing with all of this. Mikey has been through a lot. He lost so much and you have been there for him all the time.
Maybe Mikey was able to sort things out with Izana, or at least get some things across. You only hoped it wouldn’t be the start of leading him down a dark path.
[~~Flashback~~]
The cold winter air nipped at your lips as you made your way to meet Takamichi at the nearby park.
After the events of Bloody Halloween and Christmas Showdown, you wanted to know everything about Takamichi’s plan. You knew there was no way a junior high kid could have that much knowledge.
There was something about him that made you want to know more about him. Prior to this, you have never met Hangaki Takamichi nor heard of him. You only ran into him when you accompanied Draken and Mikey when Kiyomasa was beating him up. Afterwards, Takamichi became this constant presence everywhere. He fought with the Toman gang when he wasn’t even a member, even saving them multiple times in the gang brawls.
This kid didn’t grow up with any of you guys yet he’s fighting for them like he’s known them for years. He was so persistent and had this conviction unlike any other person you have seen before in your life. You have to admit, Takamitchy wasn’t the strongest, smartest, or a good fighter for that matter. Yet he still goes in no matter what. He knows he’s going to lose but he still fights anyway.
Why?
You wanted that question answered by the boy himself so you asked him to meet up. He didn’t mind but he was concerned about what Mikey would think.
“Trust me, don’t worry about it. Mikey isn’t like that type of person. As long as I tell him the who, where, when, he won’t make a big deal out of it. Plus he’s not worried about you, Takamitchy.”
Is what you said to him on Friday before going home. It’s Saturday and Takamitchy was waiting for you on one of the swingsets. The anxiety was gnawing at him. Should he tell you why he’s really doing all of this? How would you react to it?
Would you even believe him?
The chains from the swings clinked at his grip. He was so lost in thought that he didn’t know you had already arrived. Takamitchy jerked his head up at the sound of your footsteps. You greeted him and sat on the empty swing next to him. There was a small silence that fell upon the two of you. You couldn’t blame Takamitchy for being reluctant to talk. I mean, you literally pried at him to tell you his real intentions. And to be honest, the way you did it almost made Takamitchy piss his pants.
It was like that for a moment before Takamitchy stops moving his swing and looks at you.
“Would you believe even if what I’m telling you is true?”
Caught off guard, you looked at Takamitchy with wide eyes before your signature smile made an appearance on your lips.
“I mean, I have to at this point. I’ve never seen anyone so devoted to fight and save even though they’re not powerful. You never purposely lied to them so you wouldn’t lie to me, right Takamitchy?”
Shaking his head, he looks at you with absolute seriousness.
“No, I don’t want to. The things I’m doing aren’t even for me really but they ended up involving everyone. I need to do this because I have to!”
“ *hums* Then tell me about it, Takamitchy.”
With that, Takamitchy tells you everything about what he’s doing. How, in the future, the consistent deaths of Hana and his friends have haunted him relentlessly. That he has the ability to travel back in time to certain years depending on how much time has passed. The only reason why he got himself involved with Toman was because Hana’s death was linked to the gang. That there were futures where Draken was either dead or on death row, how some of the other members were dead in one. That one person was behind everything that kept creating such bleak futures: Kisaki Tetta.
As you listened and asked for clarification with what Takamitchy was saying, you couldn’t help but feel sympathetic, astonished, and even heartbroken. Astonished in Takamitchy doing all of this and having the willpower to keep going. But you also felt heartbroken and sympathetic because he had to witness the people his friends and the love of his life die right in front of him. You don’t blame him at all for doing what he had to do, and frankly you would do the same if it meant saving the ones you care about.
“And that’s pretty much it, (Y/N). I know it sounds crazy but it’s all true.”
“Isn’t there anyone else, Takamitchy?”
He looked at you quizzically, legitimately not understanding your lack of disbelief of what he was telling you. Instead, you were still questioning him like it was normal.
“What do you mean by that, (Y/N)?”
“As in, who else did you not see in your future timelines? You said that in other timelines, Ken-chin was dead or on death row. Other timelines, everyone else was dead. I feel like we’re missing something here. Like there has to be someone else that plays a role in the downward spiral of Mikey.”
“(Y/N), I don’t see what you’re trying to get at.”
“Takamitchy, think about it. From what you have told me, Mikey goes down this dark path because he loses the people closest in life. Shinichiro, Baji, Draken, what if there’s someone else we are not including. Like what about Emma? Do you know if she’s in the future?”
It took a few seconds to process what you just said, more so the last part. He would have retorted if it weren’t for the realization to hit him.
“(Y-Y/N), you’re not saying Emma dies, are you?”
“Takamitchy, look, I’m no detective. But think about it. If you said everyone is somewhat dead in the future, wouldn’t that include her too? Only you have been to the future, but how come you didn’t question it? You didn’t see her around when you went back to the future at all?”
“I-I…(Y/N)...”
Even though he didn’t give you an answer, his reaction and the fact his eyes are filled with slight panic gave you one. But with this revelation, it meant that Mikey was inevitably going to lose another loved one, specifically his sister. Once that fact settled in for you, your heart sank to the bottom of your soul. Heartache and agony took over your body, if Takamitchy couldn’t save Emma this time, it would guarantee that Mikey would fall into depravity.
‘Mikey…’
You couldn’t let that happen. No, you just can’t. You loved Mikey so much that you don’t know what to do if you lost him. Just thinking about the future versions of Mikey from Takamichi’s recounts made you nauseous and break out into a cold sweat.
You know that Takamichi can’t do this all on his own. His mission will need all the help that he can get, and you were on board with it. Fuck, you do anything for Mikey and your friends.
“Then we gotta do this, Takamitchy. I may not be strong or anything but I wanna help you with this. You have my full support.”
Takamichi nods his head with his classic determined look that you’ve grown to admire. Though this meeting happened before Izana was added into the picture. Takamichi’s resolve to continue on grew more since you gave him reassurance of your help. And perhaps, this meeting only made your friendship stronger.
[~~Flashback Ends~~]
You knew you had to protect and save Emma of a fate that would lead to her premature death. You were well aware how much Emma meant to Mikey, and her dying meant Mikey losing the last family member that cared for him.
Plus Emma didn’t deserve such a fate. She wasn’t involved in the gang at all other than being the little sister of Mikey. But even then, this wasn’t outspoken knowledge and kept hidden except for those in their close circle. To get her caught up in all of these was wrong and scumbag-level. So it was no surprise when Mikey opened up to you about Izana and their shared history together.
But to know that Izana was trying to get Mikey to fight him by any means necessary, you expected foul play to happen. Yet, not where they were going to target someone and get them killed. It was sickening and cruel for this to happen, even in gangs filled with teenagers who were too chicken to even attempt this. But what happened to Pah’s friend and his girlfriend, it could happen.
All the more reasons to keep a close eye on Emma. But there was another reason why you couldn’t let her die. One time, Mikey took you out on his motorcycle through the city. He took you by the ocean as he zoomed and weaved through the streets of Tokyo. As he stopped and parked his bike, you and Mikey were chilling under the night sky while snacking on freshly made Taiyaki. As the two of you were talking, he mentions how he wants Emma to have a nice domestic life with Draken. You question him further and he just states:
“They care about each other. Emma loves Draken, and Draken cares deeply for Emma. It would make sense, and I would be fine with it.”
You never expected Mikey to say something like that. It’s not like he doesn’t have a way with words, it’s more of he never put much thought into it unless it was serious. So for him to say something like this really changed your perspective. Mikey does seem like a selfish and childish person, but in reality he does care for his friends and siblings. He doesn’t like being publicly vulnerable about these things. Even though Emma is his half-sister, he still loves her regardless. Since Shinichiro is gone, it’s just the two of them. So they have a very close sibling relationship.
All the more reason why Emma shouldn’t be endangered, she was a nice girl that deserves to live her life.
She was the reason why you and Mikey are together. So her dying would impossibly crush your heart and soul. You didn’t know how to live with that, more so with trying to be there for Mikey because he tends to push people away.  But you opt to sacrifice yourself in place of Emma. While not a part of the gang, you have been at their meetings and helped them with some of their brawls. So your hands are dirty compared to Emma’s.
Gosh, you’re not just doing this for a dear friend. But you’re also doing this for the boy you loved so dearly and for years. You just hoped the outcome would guarantee a better future for everyone that’s still alive.
You didn’t regret this at all because all you wished for was Mikey to be happy too.
—————————————————————————
It just happened so fast.
Takamichi, Emma, and you were exiting out of the cemetery to grab some drinks in a nearby machine. As the three of you were waiting for Mikey and Inupi to be done talking to Izana, a small humming sound could be heard in the distance. At first, you guys thought it was just the buildings and paid no attention to it. However, it suddenly got louder and the three of you turned your heads towards the street. Out of nowhere, there was a motorcycle speeding and b-lining it down the street towards you three. However, you noticed someone holding a baseball bat while riding the cycle.
Perhaps it was pure instinct or intuition, but seeing someone holding a bat in the air while being a passenger of a vehicle isn’t a good sign. Suddenly, you shouted for Takamichi to duck while you immediately pulled Emma in front of you and used yourself as a shield. Unfortunately, your body didn’t take the hit but your head certainly did. The metallic ring of the bat and the silence followed by that was absolutely sickening.
It was barely thirty seconds and so many things had happened. Once the motorcycle had zoomed off, Takamichi turned around and looked horrified. Though Emma was alive, she was hunched over you as she was shaking your body and calling your name. Once the brief shock wore off, Takamichi dashed over and kneeled over you as Emma stood up. She stared frightened as one of her hands had your blood on it. The comotion had caused Mikey and Inupi to come out of the cemetery to find out what was going on. As Izana left quietly, Inupi and Mikey were in a state of shock with the scene in front of them. Emma and Takamichi were crying as Takamichi kept shaking your unmoving body which laid on the asphalt.
Takamichi was trying to explain to Mikey that Kisaki did this to you but his hiccups from his sobs blocked his words. But honestly, even if Takamichi told him, he probably wouldn’t listen because all he cared about was you going to the hospital and being alive. Mikey wasted no time, he told Takamichi to place you on his back so he can run to the hospital with you. Emma wanted to go with them too but Mikey told her only he and Takamichi should go because they would be faster. Plus he told Emma that her shoes wouldn’t allow her to run and she could get hurt while running. Inupi butts in and says he’ll take care of Emma while the two of them take care of you.
The two took off as Mikey and Takamichi sprinted towards the hospital. As they take the side streets and alleyways, the rapid movement causes you to wake up for a bit. Your vision was blurry and your whole body ached, but you recognized that it was Mikey that was carrying you.
“M-Mikey… Is that you?”
Mikey doesn’t pause for a moment but he instantly softens up when he hears you speak.
“Yeah… It’s me, Baby… Don’t worry, you’re going to be okay… Takamitchy is also with us too…”
You shifted your head on Mikey’s shoulder to face Takamichi who’s running alongside him. He doesn’t smile when he sees your eyes on him but you could see the hopefulness in his. You slowly smile at Takamichi as you shift your head once more so your forehead rests on top of Mikey’s shoulder blade.
“Mikey… I don’t think my eyes are working… And my body is hurting all over that it’s hard to move around…”
“I know I know, (Y/N)-chan… Just a little longer… Please… We’re almost there… Just hang on a little more…”
Because of your injury, you couldn’t register what Mikey was saying to you but you just kept smiling. Something that made Takamichi afraid. With your forehead still pressed against him, you still try to talk the best you can.
“Mikey… Tell Emma it’s not her fault… I did this to myself… Tell Draken and the rest they have been great friends, I l-love them like brothers… And Takamichi-kun, please tell Hana that… that she’s a wonderful friend and I appreciate her a lot. Please take… good care… of her… I think you did it right t-this time… It’s up to you now…”
As you kept talking, Mikey involuntarily picked up his pace causing Takamichi to fall behind for a bit. They were so close to the hospital. If you would hold out a little longer, you would be okay.
You would be, right?
Because of the running, Takamichi wouldn’t see it but you felt it from your spaced out consciousness. Mikey was shaking, his whole body was shaking uncontrollably. It was something Mikey couldn’t admit but he was terrified. Terrified that you, the love of his love, the moon to his stars in the night sky, his best friend, would die and be lost from him forever. No, this can’t happen. You’re strong, stronger than most people. You’re one of the strongest people Mikey knows. You couldn’t go down without a fight. Though your will was strong, Mikey’s denial delusions were stronger. He keeps telling himself that you will be okay and make it out alive. That if he gets you to the hospital, it’s fine. But from what you said, the fear of your death grew stronger in him every step he took to save you. There was nothing more terrifying than for someone to see their beloved die right in front of their eyes. Takamichi knew this all too well seeing Hana die right in front of him.
For him to see Mikey go through the same thing was heartbreaking because he was supposed to prevent this from happening. Yet he indirectly caused it to happen by telling you of his time travel ability and the future timelines he witnessed. He becomes guilt-ridden as he played a role in your death, and he’ll suffer the consequences. Takamichi notices the side street that they were on and they were five minutes away from the hospital. As Takamichi caught up with Mikey, your voice became more hoarse and quiet. This wasn’t good. Mikey wished you kept quiet so you could save your strength.
“M-Mikey… You need to start to take… better care of yourself… You can’t just rely on Kenny and Em to do it…”
“(Y/N), princess, what are you talking about? What about you, you take care of me too, don’t you?”
“Yy-yeah… But I think not anymore…”
“(Y-Y/N)-chan, please… You know… I had a dream where it’s just you and me… We have our own place with our own little family… Once you put the little ones to sleep… We hangout with Ken-chin, Takamitchy-kun, Mitsuya, and everyone at our home… We get to eat and drink all the sake we want as you scold me to quiet down because I would wake up the kids… And everyone would be laughing and having a good time as you punk me around…”
You don’t respond right away, which scared Mikey for a bit, but you hummed and spoke up once more.
“That’s such… a nice dream… Mikey…”
“Yeah, baby, I think about it often. I could only imagine that life with you, I wouldn’t know what to do if it wasn’t with you… So (Y/N), please…”
“Manjiro-kun…?”
Oh god, please don’t…
“Yes, (Y/N)...?”
“I love you…”
They were legitimately right in front of the hospital when your body goes slack against Mikey's body. They were right there, if only they were faster.
After that, everything was a blur. Inupi dropped off Emma at the hospital before driving back to Toman’s meeting spot. Not long after, Draken then Hana arrived. The doctor that had his staff take you in didn’t come back out yet. As Takamichi filled them in, the minutes felt like hours. Wondering what condition you’re in, or whether or not you’re still with them or not. Hana was trying to comfort Emma who was sobbing, clearly traumatized from what had happened. Draken stands and stares at the closed ICU doors, and Takamichi stands by the chairs waiting for your news. Meanwhile, Mikey’s seating and is just a shell of himself. His eyes were void of any light and his head hung low to hide his depressive face. He was numb, he doesn’t feel anything nor couldn’t even if he wanted to. The thought of losing you never occurred to him. He always reassured you that he was the strongest, that he could protect you from anyone and anything that dared to harm you. He found out the hard way what happens when he can’t. This is what will happen to you when he’s not careful with you.
After a few hours, the doctor came out and everyone but Mikey stood up and went over to hear your condition. Are you okay? Are you even still alive? They needed to know.
“ The surgery was a success. Your friend is alive because you brought her in within 15 minutes of what I assume was the accident that caused it.”
The friends wanted to cheer and celebrate making it out alive. But with the weight of the doctor’s eyes, it tells a different story. So all they can do is release a sigh of relief.
“However, her injury did cause some bleeding. I don’t know what object hit her, the force of the object caused her skull to have a depression fracture. That fracture created small fragments where some stabbed her outer brain layer that caused the bleeding. Though her skull will heal naturally, the force of the blunt trauma caused her to have a severe concussion. With that, after the operation, she was placed in a medically-induced coma. We believe this is the best choice for her recovery.”
“Do you know when she will wake up?” Takamichi hesitantly asked.
“I can’t say for sure. The coma is meant to help her body recover and reset her body from what has happened. Even though we placed her under, it’s not strong and she can wake up if her brain allows her to. It could be at least 12 hours or more when she wakes up though.”
The doctor excuses himself as a nurse tells them that only two people at a time can see you. Hana and Emma were the first to go. Draken decided while the girls were seeing you, to ask Mikey to come outside to have a little talk.
But it was anything but one.
There, Draken was laying it on Mikey, whaling him in the face each time. And while Mikey was allowing the blows to come. No flinching or wincing whatsoever. It was like Mikey had shut down completely. Takemitchi was trying to hold back Draken but got shocked in the face in doing so. It was a chaotic scene in the parking lot. Draken was beating the daylights out of Mikey while Takamichi was trying to split them up and ended up bowing his head on the floor. Takamichi apologized profusely to Draken because he was technically there when you got hit so he was responsible for your condition. He hadn’t realized it but Draken was crying as he raised his fist to punch Mikey again. Yet the punch never connected. He stood there, letting his tears freely fall with his lip slightly quivering to keep his sobbing from spilling out.
“We created Toman to protect our friends, Mikey! But Pah is in jail! Kazutora is in Jail! Baji’s now dead! And (Y/N)–! She’s… She’s in a coma! Who knows when she will wake up! Or if she will wake up… What the hell is the point of creating this gang if we can't protect our family!!!”
Draken was beyond frustrated and terrified. Frustrated as within a year their friends are getting hurt or being sent away to jail. Frustrated that he couldn’t be there to protect his friends when things like this happened. He was also terrified that he was losing them so fast. Being plucked away like they were petals on a flower. The girls were done and were going to retrieve the boys for their turn. When they didn't see them in the waiting room, however, they searched around to come out to the parking lot after hearing Draken’s yelling. They only saw the aftermath but from the bruises on Mikey’s face, Takamichi’s tears, and Draken heaving, they pieced it together. Draken made way to where you were with Takamichi hot on his tail.
It was strange to see you like this. There you laid, on the hospital bed hooked onto a heart monitor and multiple IV drips. You looked so peaceful and serene where you slept, unaware of the chaos that will ensue soon. Maybe it was a good thing that you were like this, of what is to come in the showdown between Tenjuku and Toman. But reality was always uncertain, Takamichi knew this. Things may not go his plan but he’s damn sure that he will try his best.
Draken had a blank expression but his tears kept coming. He has known you as long as he has known Mikey. You and him were practically siblings, always butting heads but backing each other when the other needed help. He always looked out for you in ways you were unaware of because you always had the tendency to care for them before yourself. And now he has seen how your kind and loving heart can be seen as a weakness, people taking advantage of it because they knew you would fight for everyone before you could save yourself.
Draken kept staring while Takamichi knew he had to do it. It was up to him now to lead Toman against Tenjuku as both their commander and vice-commander are currently out of commission. Takamichi had talked with Hana and Emma before leaving. He now had a new motive to keep fight on as this battle wasn’t just for Toman:
This fight is for you too.
—————————————————————————
After rallying any of the remaining Toman members, Takamichi faces off against Tenjuku that night.
Fuck, it was hard.
Not only being outnumbered by many, but they were down their strongest members. With Mitsuya and Smiley injured and Mikey and Draken not showing up, it seemed like the fight was already decided. But with Takamichi leading, Toman still kept on fighting, being powered by his dauntless spirit. Angry unlocked his sleeping blue orge powers and knocked down three of Tenjuku’s executives with two of them being the Hataini Brothers. Yet they still had one challenge to face.
Izana Kurokawa, the leader of Tenjuku himself.
Like any last boss fight, he was strong. He knocked down all of Toman’s best members, and he seemed unstoppable. Takamichi was getting absolutely rocked by Kakucho. Blood sept out of his mouth and nose, he was hurting all over and knew he had some broken bones, but he didn’t care. Chifuyuu tried to convince him that Toman would never win this fight, they are outnumbered and too injured to carry on. But Takamichi didn’t care about that. His conviction shone brighter than ever that night. His determination, his tenacity, was unwavering when Kisaki aimed his gun point blank at Takamichi’s face. He knew if Toman loses tonight, Tenjuku and Kisaki would win. He would never give it to them no matter what because he was so close to fixing the timeline, he would be able to save everyone. He is not letting that chance slip through, not when he can do it right now.
In the face of Kisaki aiming straight at his forehead, Takamichi wasn’t afraid. He wasn’t afraid of him, nor of Tenjuku, nor of anyone. He wasn’t afraid of you dying anymore because you wouldn’t die on him, die on your friends when they needed you.
That you wouldn’t die on Mikey because you knew he would be lost and devastated without you.
You may not be a leader or one of their strongest, but you were still a part of Toman for a reason. You were a fighter. Fighting for those who can’t fight for themselves, fighting to protect and save your friends, to keep on fighting with such conviction for your family, the Toman gang. Takamichi fully understands why you did what you did and it helped him be fearless against Tenjuku. Provoking and taunting Kisaki in every way he can, even with the gunshot wound to his foot. Takamichi smirked at Kisaki seeing him lose his composure and stood toe to toe with him. In that moment, Toman was fueled by his determination and ignited the spirit of Toman once more. Kisaki trying to save his pride looked down upon Toman for their stupid antics, thinking he’s still on top as the kingpin of everything. That only for Takamichi to give him a well-deserved punch right across his face.
Then Takamichi suddenly stood proudly with his fist up in the air, claiming that he would never give up. Everyone was confused until they followed Takamichi’s line of sight and saw Mikey. Not only that, Draken arrived too with Hina and Emma right behind him. Everyone was beyond shock, Toman for seeing their leaders and Tenjuku seeing Emma alive. They thought Kisaki killed Emma but they guessed wrong since she was standing with them alive and well. It was only then Kisaki realized his mistake, he got you instead of her. Now he knows why Toman is a pain in his side and won’t stay down.
Hina explained to Takamichi that she had to tell them about his time-leaping ability. His mission for a future where all of them lived. How she will die in twelve years time and Takamichi is doing everything he can to save her and everyone else. What she was saying sounded straight out of a movie but it was all true when his desperation and determination was right in front of them. That it was your choice to save Emma from an early death because you knew how much she meant to Draken and Mikey. You wanted to help Takamichi achieve a future where everyone is alive and okay because you loved them so much.
After Hina told them, Mikey snapped out of his hollow state and walked to where your room was. As the nurse was checking your vitals, she saw him walking towards your window and called him over. Since your condition stabilized, one guest is allowed to see you in your room. As the nurse opened the door for him, Mikey quietly strides to your bedside and stares at you. It may not be an appropriate time but Mikey always thought you looked so beautiful and enthralling no matter what was going on. He just stares a bit more before bending over and placing a small kiss on your forehead.
‘(Y/N), I have to go help Takamichi out. Please wait for me until I help them win. Hold on just a little longer for me.’
He squeezes your hand gently but reassuringly. It was mostly for him to know that you would make it out and wake up for them. As he leaves your room and goes back to Draken, he didn’t see the slight twitch your hand gave when he let go.
Now here he is, with Draken and Toman to aid them in their fight against Tenjuku. Mikey shouldn’t be here but he knew that you would have wanted him here to help Toman then staying with you. As Izana and Mikey battle it out, Takamichi could only watch as they were evenly matched. But as the fight kept going on, Izana started to falter and grew weaker. Mikey was beating him and Izana was slowly losing his mind because of it. In a moment of desperation, Izana snatched Kisaki’s gun and pointed it straight at him. Just like Takamichi, Mikey provoked Izana to shoot him only for Kakucho to smack the gun out of his hand. They argued until a shot was fired and Izana’s face splattered with a bit of blood.
Kisaki had shot Kakucho.
Kisaki was getting annoyed that his master plan was crumbling apart like a sand castle. If he couldn’t use Mikey then he would use Izana. In a fit of rage, Kakucho charges right at Kisaki. Kisaki shot again, this time hitting Izana. But when he tried pulling the trigger again, the gun was jammed and couldn’t fire another shot. Since the gun was useless, Kisaki fell to the ground from the adrenaline rush. The chaos continued to thrive as Tenjuku’s king and his servant laid on the ground, bleeding out. Mucho shouted for an ambulance as everyone remained stunned at what had happened. As the cops and ambulance were coming, everyone was pulling out except for Tenjuku’s executives. As Mikey stares deadly at Kisaki, he looks down at him with such disappointment and disgust for causing all of this… for putting in the hospital.
Before he and Takamichi could approach the bastard, Hanma grabbed Kisaki on his motorcycle and sped off. Takamichi hitches a ride with Draken while Mikey stays with the girls. After crashing, Kisaki was being chased by a determined Takamichi. After duking it out, Kisaki points his gun again at Takamichi. The manipulator was starting to cry out of frustration as Takamichi hit him on the money for why he kept killing Hina in the future. But as always, Takamichi had the upper hand and was able to get Kisaki’s gun and point right back at him. He was so tempted to shoot if it weren’t for Mikey and Hina.
Kisaki used this little distraction to get away but Takamichi was hot on his tail.
“My plan would have been perfect if it wasn't (Y/N) and her virtue signaling! She had what was coming to her instead of letting Emma take the hit! I could have had it all!”
He continues to spout nonsense until he stops in the middle of the crosswalk. He turned back at Takamichi and told him that he was leading him on this whole time; he wasn’t a time leaper.
As Takamichi revels in this new found information, Kisaki gives his shit-eating grin to him before getting slammed by a delivery truck. In a blink of an eye, Kisaki was fatally mangled as he was trying to get back up but his legs were twisted backwards and kneecaps out of place.
In a flash, Kisaki was dead and that was the end of the battle with Tenjuku. There was only one casualty and that was Kisaki Tetta.
—————————————————————————
It had been two days since you were placed into a coma. Takamichi and everyone came to visit you to see how you were doing. Though you weren’t in any danger, you had not shown any progress of consciousness. While it worried the others, Takamichi and Mikey never lost hope that they would wake up again and come back.
And they were right.
On the third day, Hina and Emma were going to visit you when they were told you were placed in a different room outside of the ICU. Quickly, they made their way to your new room where they found you wide awake. Sipping a capri-sun as you sat up on the bed, turning your head to smile at the teary eyed girls. Emma ran over to you and hugged you tightly, still trying to be careful of your injuries, while Hina grabbed her phone to tell Takamichi the news. Their tears were soon joyed by everyone else as they made their way to the hospital. As Mikey, Takamichi, and Draken practically spirited to your room. As they slid the door open, they were greeted by a crying Emma that was being comforted by you as Hina stands on the other side of your bed talking to you. You didn’t notice them until Mikey whispered out your name, turning your head to smile at them while still holding Emma.
Draken and Takamichi had tears in their eyes. For Draken, you survived and are up back again. For Takamichi, it means that he didn’t fuck it this time. That he was able to save you, Emma, Draken, and Izana from a bleak future. That he finally accomplished what he sought out to do in the very beginning. The closest timeline for Takamichi to give everyone a happy ending.
He finally did it.
As Hina ushered Emma, Draken, and Takamichi out of the room, it was now just you and Mikey. You can tell he was tired, probably losing sleep on wondering if your condition would get better. As you held out your arms to him, he made haste and hugged you tightly. It was Mikey’s turn to cry as he held you for the first time in three days. His face was buried in your head as his hand held it close to him while his other arm held your upper back. You were rubbing his back and hair softly so he could bask in the reality that you were okay.
“I was… so scared that I was going to lose you, (Y/N)... That you were going to end up like Shin-ni and Baji…”
“Oh Mikey…”
“ *holds you tighter* I’m sorry I couldn’t be there to protect you… I was supposed to be there with you… I just… Couldn’t imagine my life if you were gone…”
You soften at how vulnerable Mikey was becoming. But you didn’t know the depth of seriousness he had for you until now.
“Well, I’m alive and awake, Mikey. I’m here with you, I’m going anywhere without.”
Mikey sighs, kissing your forehead before placing his on yours with his eyes closed.
“I’m serious about you, princess. I want to be with you forever, I want to have a future with you. A future for us… I need you, (Y/N)... I love you…”
“Oh, I love you too, Majiro-kun… I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
With that, you two sealed the promise with a gentle but loving kiss. You love Mikey and he loves you as well. As you pull away, you hug him again before asking him to let Takamichi talk to you. He goes to get him, not before placing a kiss on your cheek. Takamichi enters the room and you grin ear to ear seeing him as he is happy to see you awake.
“Come on, Takamitchy. You can relax for a bit! You saved everyone!”
“Yeah, but you gave me a heart attack, (Y/N)!! I get why you did what you did but it still doesn’t help that I was constantly thinking about how you were doing!”
“Oh, Takamitchy. I thought I told you to have faith in me! I’m not going down so easily like that! Trust!”
“(Y/N)...”
You drop the peppy and light act and shift towards a solemn one.
“So I heard Kisaki is dead…”
Takamichi nods to confirm your question.
“How did he die? Did you kill him, Takamitchy?”
“I… I actually didn’t…”
You straightened up your posture and stared at him in surprise.
“You didn’t?! Then how—”
“He was struck by a truck at a crosswalk. He died not too long after…”
“Hmmm, I see. At least you didn’t have to get your hands dirty, Takamitchy. I couldn’t imagine you going to jail for his death. I guess even God wanted him dead too so he decided to add some divine intervention into our mix and give us a boost.” You chuckled at the last part. It was a little humorous that Kisaki didn’t die at the hands of either Takamichi or Mikey.  But rather, he died due to being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Maybe God was tired of Kisaki’s shit and decided to help Takamichi out. Who knows?
But what matters is you’re alive, Takamichi is alive, everyone is alive. You were able to help him save everyone and now everyone can have a future to look forward to.
“I guess your work is done here then. So are you going back to the future after this visit?”
“Most likely…”
“I understand… Thank you for all your hard work, Takamichi… I appreciate all you have done and look forward to this new future that you have set…”
“Yeah… We’ll see (Y/N)...”
As you and Takamichi hug it out and high five each other, you tell him to bring the rest inside to join you two. Draken was salty that he didn’t get a personal moment like the rest did but you told him it will happen soon enough. After visiting you, Takamichi went back to the future that night. As he shook Naoto’s hand one last time, he firmly believed that he created a better future and timeline this time.
And he was more than correct.
In this timeline, he is getting married to Hina. Draken and Emma are married and already have a baby. You and Mikey already had your wedding and were planning your next decisions for your two’s future. As Takamichi saw how happy and bright Mikey was towards you, he knew he finally stopped the cycle. With everyone alive, he could be happy and rest with the fact that he achieved the future he wanted. Hina is alive, Draken is alive, Emma is alive, and you and Mikey are alive too. Though he wished he could save Baji and Shinichiro, this still was a good outcome from what happened.
Against all odds, Takamichi was able to accomplish his goal in saving Hina and his friends. Though it may not be perfect, it was enough that his sacrifices weren’t in vain as everyone was alive and happy. All thanks to your help and his efforts.
Now he can fully rest and live in this future as everything is going to be okay from now on.

Tumblr media
You never knew how to measure quantities when cooking, because you didn't want to go short, you always ended up adding more ingredients than you should, which led you to make too much food, in this case, little strawberry cupcakes along with some other fruits.
You had time to do it on one of those rare days where you weren't being stifled by the presence of any Bonten executive, having you as their secretary made it easier for them to be accessible to you, but unfortunately they couldn't stop you from interacting with other people, more than anything because they also needed men to do their dirty work, men you seemed to talk to from time to time, which they didn't like.
For you, it was just small interactions, greetings, small talks with the guys who were hanging around, who came from missions or bodyguards who watched every corner in the barracks, nothing really important, you were just being nice like you would to anyone else, although most of them would only nod at your presence or words, they had already been threatened and knew the consequences.
But that didn't stop some clueless from enjoying your presence more than they would like, not to mention the fact that you want to distribute the leftover cupcakes among those men, they'd rather throw away your homemade food before those creeps could taste it, but they couldn't stop you, at least not most of the time.
You wanted to think that the disappearance of some people with whom you spoke or shared that leftover food was not your fault, after all, working with this type of criminal exposed you to many dangers, but you really did not know how far your boys could go for simply smiling at another person.
You put those thoughts aside, clutching the box full of cupcakes tightly, you reached the elevator in the main building, dialing the highest number, you waited patiently, humming the light music on hold, on your way out you simply walked a few more steps and knocked on the door already well known. It opened with a creak, as soon as you entered, being received by an arm hooking onto you in a loose hug, you smiled when you saw Mikey, anxious to see what you had prepared this time, despite not being his favorites, everything you did to he, would be a culinary work.
"By the way, today is dyeing day."
"Hmm? It is?"
You muttered at Rindou's words, noticing now, the boys who already had part of their natural color at the root of their hair, you shrugged smiling at the younger of the Haitani, nodding at his request, earning pitying glances from Kakucho, who was the only one who decided not to alter his original hair.
You approached him, rubbing his shoulders in a comforting way, trying not to let his kicked puppy look affect you, you offered him a smile that was enough to warm his heart, looking for a second at the expressions of his companions to silently boast of being the only one that received all your attention.
"Don't worry Kaku, I'll make sure that my next day off is just for you, we can make that recipe you told me about the other day, or visit some place you want."
The completely bitter and serious expressions of the others turned into small grimaces that were meant to be smiles as you turned to them, letting Takeomi lead the group out while you give a last silent wave to Kakucho, who simply nodded at your action, as soon as you were out of sight a frown on his face.
Kaku really hated 'dyeing days' because he was the only one not included in the bonding time with everyone, but then again he could always take advantage of it, just like now, he always got an extra day with you, and best of all It's just that it was just you and him, so he had your full attention.
Although he had to leave that for later, now, returning with the boys and you, you went out of the building to the crowded streets of Tokyo, everyone staying on the sidelines except Kokonoi, who was the only one who went with you to buy the hair dye, since the group itself would draw a lot of attention and he was the one handling the money, the others reluctantly agreed as he took your hand to guide you to the nearest store.
"Don't you want to dye your hair too?"
"I think not for now, my hair doesn't look so bad right?"
"Of course not! It's perfectly fine."
You laughed at how Koko was quick to make sure your hair was perfectly fine, knowing how delicate people your age could be because of the dreaded gray hair. You both walked out of there after choosing the appropriate colors for everyone, smiling at the packages you were holding in your hand.
It reminded you of your youth, you went through that stage too, you learned how to apply the dye on your own because going to a hairdresser would be a lot of work and much more expensive, although you stopped applying so many dyes to your hair because it started to get drier. When the boys discovered this —snooping through your old photos from your high school days— they asked you to apply the dye.
While everyone got used to being treated by a ridiculously expensive professional hairdresser, nothing could compare to taking advantage of this to spend more time with you, not to mention enjoying the feeling of being pampered by you, giving them a little scalp massage when you applied the dye to them, it was something that even the most experienced or expert hairdresser could not achieve.
"Who should be first?"
You all ended up in your house, because you continued to maintain that house even though the boys told you it wasn't necessary, but you hadn't spent most of your life working to buy this property and now just abandon it so abruptly, no, you weren't going through that, plus it was always like a refuge of your own peace of mind, although in the majority there was always someone who interrupted you on your day off.
You observed that everyone had impatient eyes, watching as you internally debated who should be the first to go through your majestic hands and head caresses, taking one last look at everyone you made up your mind once and for all.
"I guess we can start with Ran, since I'm going to take longer with him, you go after Rin, the rest of you shouldn't take that long so you can choose the order, oh, without any shouting or throwing knives."
You warned before taking the brothers to the bathroom, aware that the last time you told them to choose the order in which you were going to dye them they ended up fighting to see who would be the first to receive your attention. You started working with Ran, massaging his head while applying the dye, it took you half an hour to finish them both as they had two different colors, which complicated the process, luckily the others only had one color to choose from.
You weren't surprised that the next one to enter the bathroom was Mikey, after all he was the boss, and if the brothers had been lucky enough to go before him, it was only because it was your decision and he respected it. You took your time with him, knowing that he enjoyed more than anyone the reassurance that your fingers gave him, running over his skin in a firm but gentle way, it was refreshing for him, the only place where he could let his guard down and relax to the point where he almost falls asleep
The next one was Takeomi, he was the fastest since he only had a small part of his hair, that didn't mean that he didn't feel satisfied by the simple fact of being with you alone. He was followed by an impatient Sanzu, who was always very restless despite being with you, as if he were the rebellious and hyperactive son of the group, then Mochizuki entered and finally Kokonoi.
You sighed once you kicked Koko out of the bathroom, leaving you to relieve yourself while cleaning the dye stains left on your hands, you wet your face to cool off, feeling tired after a long day.
"Guys… can you tell me what the hell are you doing with my school album again? I thought I had hidden it…"
You stared blankly at the group of men who decided to deliberately ignore your words, one of the few times they did, more focused on gossiping about your past as a student.
"Who is it? You have many photos with this person."
Sanzu pointed, you approached to check who was, a smile tugging at your lips upon seeing that person, the boys silently stared at your expression, feeling an internal anger against the stranger despite not knowing anything about that person.
"That was my first couple, although we didn't end up very well."
"Why?"
"Cheated on me with someone else." you immediately noticed how the tension increased in the room, rushing to continue talking "Oh, but we were both very inexperienced, it was the first relationship for both of us and we had many ups and downs."
"Why would you keep the photos of this person? Seems useless."
"Mikey… that's rude, I keep them because it's a memory of my life, although I only keep the good times."
They continued to look at more photos —some embarrassing— and judge the people you had the closest contact with in the past, Takeomi making a mental list of the few names you inadvertently let slip as you remembered between laughs and blushes of embarrassment your adolescent adventures
Although there was someone who annoyed them more than anyone, a girl, an old classmate who decided to mess with you for something quite common in pubescence, pimples and early physical changes, her harassment was only verbal, small teasing so that her group of friends would laugh, luckily nothing physical happened, mostly because one day you decided to stand up to it and set the record straight, since teachers don't do much, you decided that sometimes taking control of the situation wasn't a bad idea.
The girl was embarrassed years later by her attitude towards you and apologized when you met her as an adult, you simply forgave her because she was not and would not be anyone important in your life, there was no point in hating her when you could just forget her.
But the boys did not like this at all, they heard from your own mouth ─because they begged you to tell them the whole story─ that many nights you cried, self-conscious about your appearance, forcing you to do things that were dangerous to your health, both mental and physical, you didn't go to extremes, but without a doubt that year was a bad time that you prefer to bury in the depths of your mind.
Oh boy, Bonten was going to dig up the shit for you to clear your conscience, rather his own under the guise of 'doing it for you', what better way to get over someone than to just wipe them off the face of the Earth? It's a pleasant job for them anyway, especially if they're people who had hurt their mother in some way. You may have taken it as a joke, but the idea of hunting down your former bad classmates, or teachers, were not empty words, it was a promise.
"Hello, Kakucho? Didn't we have an important meeting today?"
"Ah, we can always do without one or two, so don't worry, isn't it better to spend the day with me than listen to us talk for hours about business?"
"I suppose you're right, hearing about your companies is more boring than working as a cashier."
You smiled tightening Kaku's grip on your hand, leading you through a pretty garden full of different flowers, completely oblivious to the reasons why you hadn't been allowed to attend today's meeting. You let go of his hand when he had to take a call, seizing the moment alone you bent down to see a lovely red rose, touching the soft petals of it, going down to the stem just feeling a little prick.
"Ow, it has very sharp spines."
You muttered, a drop of blood falling onto the green grass, staining it slightly red, you immediately felt someone pull your shoulder back, meeting you with a worried look that caused you to laugh.
"Let's get you a doctor."
"Kaku, it's just a cut, some water and a band-aid will suffice."
"Oxygenated water, we don't know if more people have touched that."
"Okay big baby…"
As you spent the afternoon nonchalantly by Kakucho's side, the rest of the boys personally took it upon themselves to give proper torture to that girl who once messed with your appearance, all taking turns slowly draining her blood, letting her life slowly and painfully escaped from her body.
"This teach you not to mess with mom, you stupid bitch."
Sanzu smiled sickly, taking the last turn to finish at once, the others watching in silence, their faces, hands and clothes stained with fresh blood, feelings of pure hatred manifested with blows, stabs, cuts… it was the price to pay for messing with someone she shouldn't, and she had to accept it. Sanzu grabbed the trusty pistol from him, without thinking twice, drowning out the agonized screams that did not stop ringing for four full clock hours, the last drops of blood spattering the walls.

BONUS
"Where have you been? Arriving like this full of blood what the hell?"
Everyone ─except Kaku─ shrank from your angry gaze, ducking their heads like children scolded for doing something wrong, they already knew what they were up against when they arrived at your house completely covered in blood.
"Sorry mom."
They all answered in sync, avoiding your gaze at all costs so as not to feel worse, but they were too eager to see you after having disposed of yet another piece of garbage in the world.
"No 'sorry mom' do you know how difficult it is to get blood stains out of clothes? You're lucky I have my laundry hacks."

Apple Gummies
Tumblr media
Inupi x Reader (Fluff)
A subtle friendship that starts with an apple and a boy who slowly falls in love. Inspired by “Ditto” by NewJeans
Inupi didn't know when he started liking (y/n) it had come so gentle that by the time he looked back to see the start it was all blended together with the memories that made her special to him. Liking her came as second nature, something that came as easy as breathing. If he had liked her since forever then he assumed it was the first time they had met that he had fallen in love.
After Koko had saved him from the fire he remembered laying in the hospital bed staring at the ceiling not sure if he should celebrate being able to live or cry over his sister who couldn’t. If he could remember correctly, (y/n) had gone to the hospital after breaking her left ankle. Which if he was honest is not surprising now knowing her for so long. He had seen her trip over thin air before, let alone the times she was a victim of thrown balls.
With the hospital quite packed the nurses placed her as his roommate in hopes that a company his age would help him adjust and help him feel a sense of normalcy. As he lay lost in thought the nurses knocked on his door and as he answered the (h/c) girl was rolled in.
“This is (y/n) she is gonna be your new roomie okay” The nurse said as she set the girls up and helped her settle on the bed. Once (y/n) was set. The nurse then did their routine check up on him.
Once the nurses were done, 10 awkward minutes of silences occurred. He could see her fidgeting until she broke the silence “ummm you want some apples?” Not knowing what to do, he agreed. The girl smiled and proceeded to throw her feet off the bed and hopped on her good foot. “You really don't need to do that, '' Inupi hurriedly said, feeling bad.
“No, it's really okay just give me a second '' (y/n) said as she wheeled herself to the side of his bed with an apple and knife. She slowly peeled the apple and skillfully cut it into slices before helping him up and handing one up to him.
As he bit into the apple he saw her wheel back to her area ruffling through a bag and pulling out cards “Uno?”
Before long her presence was something he was used to, there wasn’t much to do in the hospital so the girl's efforts to fill up the boredom was amusing to him. Talking to let him escape the accident that plagued him at the time. After 2 weeks (y/n) was discharged and he thought he would never see her again.
Imagine his surprise when 2 months later while entering his homeroom with Koko for the new school year, he would see the girl sitting near the back of the classroom talking to two fellow classmates. He wanted to greet her but was interrupted by the door closing.
“Can everybody take a seat please, I am…” the teacher went on and on. Next thing Inupi knew he had zone out and lunch had begun. He looked toward the back of the room hoping to see (y/n) but was met with disappointment when he saw the empty desk. “Hey, you mind getting me a drink at the vending machine?” Koko's question snapped him back. “Yeah sure”
As he walk down quietly. The hallways were filled with chatter and laughter as students caught up and complained. Once he got the machine he saw her standing there with a bunch of drinks in her hand. “ Hey Inupi, it's me (y/n), I was shocked when I saw you. Who would have thought we would meet again? Don’t mind the drinks. I lost a bet and now I have to carry all of these drinks back. How are you by the way?”
He offered her a kind smile before answering her question “I’m doing better, how's your leg”. As she answered, he picked up some of the drinks. “You don't have to, I got it.” the girl quickly said. “It's fine we are going to the same place anyways.” It was a comfortable quiet as they walked back into the class. “Who's the girl?” Koko whispered to Inupi as he sat down. “She was placed in the same hospital room as me.”
The first day of class ended, Koko already made his way towards the door and had some deal to complete, leaving Inupi in the classroom by himself. He slowly opened the door to see the (y/n) again. “This is where you were, I thought you left until your long haired friend told me you might’ve been here still. For helping me with the drink I wanted to give you something.” She pushed a bag of apple flavor gummies into his hand. “ I know it's not a lot but I just wanted to say thank you,” the girl blurted before running off again.
Soon after the girl slowly inserted herself into his life naturally and he couldn’t help waiting for the time he got to spend with her. He couldn’t help himself from stealing glances at her surrounded by her friends. It was like her laughter was a sound wave in which his radio was always tuned to.
One night while walking around the city he spotted the girl walking home in the dark by herself, holding a bag of what he assumed was snacks. Scared for her safety he started following her yet too shy to say anything so the poor guy was just trailing her. After 5 minutes, he would get the scare of his life when he heard “ Inupi i know you’re there why are you following me?” the girl turned to face him.
After explaining himself the girl giggled and he couldn't help the blush that spread his cheeks not sure if he was embarrassed or happy that he had caused her to laugh. “Silly, you could have just told me.” When they reached her house she said bye to him and added “You are like my knight in shining armor, thank you”.
He didn’t want to admit it but his cheek was dusted with pink the rest of the night and they would hurt from the smile that tugged on his lips the rest of the way home.
The gods were in his favor the next day because when the bell rang the sky decided it was time to rain all the clouds dry. Luckily he bought his umbrella but (y/n) hadn’t, not wanting the girl to get sick he immediately offered to walk her home. She agreed and they started their journey leaving behind a Koko who had to find his own way home.
“ You know you should stand closer,  the rain is hitting you,” the girl pleaded. The boy felt the water wetting his left side but ignored it. “Its fine”
Once they reached the house (y/n) pushed him inside. “The rain is getting worse, just chill here so the rain can let up. My parents are on a trip so you don't need to worry and I'll get you some clothes to change into”. Inupi couldn’t answer before he was in the bathroom “Just throw your clothes outside and I’ll place dry ones in front of the door”
He changed and went towards the living room “Are you hungry?” the girl began shifting through the fridge. Before long food was made and both of them sat and ate he noticed how the girl ate a smaller portion. “ You snack a lot don't you” the boy remarked. “Yeah, how did you know?” she questioned. “Because you’re a foodie you wouldn’t pass up any food unless you're filled, so i guess you ate a bunch of snacks beforehand” He chose not reveal how he caught her eating all the ingredients beforehand as she was cooking.
After they played board games and did their homework, the girl fell asleep. Inupi placed a blanket on her and couldn’t help but admire her sleeping. He cleaned up the dishes and board games. He then organized her school work and placed them in her backpack so she wouldn't forget before making his departure.
Walking her home became a daily routine, he started to figure out what her favorite food was and what she disliked. The songs she skips and the ones she plays on repeat. What jokes made her laugh and the character she liked. Even the way her eyes closed shut when laughing and the strand of hair that always stood up no matter how hard she tried.
He loved her but was scared. If he told her and she didn't like him that could mean losing her forever. Yet if he didn't tell her he would harbor these secrets forever surrendering the chance that she might like him back.
“Honestly the way your moping makes me pay you to just ask her” Koko sighed fully knowing that the girl had to like his blonde friend back. Inupi rolled his eyes before saying “I gotta go drop her off at the train station”. He wanted to ask you after your three day trip to the countryside hoping the time would help him build up the courage. He believed that it was better to tell them, than to live in the complex maze of not knowing, even when he knew his heart couldn’t take the damage if you had said no.
With the train station in view Inupi gently handed her bag which he insisted on carrying all the way. Then he rummaged through his own pockets to pull out (y/n)'s  favorite apple gummies.  “Here you go for the trip, and don’t snack too much because you need to eat a full meal alright”.
“Fine but no promises” The girl spotted her family and gave them her luggage telling them to go ahead before walking back towards the boy. “You know i know you like me, Koko told me” (y/n) spoke. Inupi's heart dropped to his stomach. “ I like you too by the way”. She lightly kissed his cheek, grinned and then ran into the train station yelling “ I’ll see you soon”
Even with the amount of time she had made him blush. She had once again decorated his cheeks with pink. He didn’t know if he wanted to kill Koko or give him everything he owned. All he knew was the girl he loved, liked him back and that was enough to make him smile for a lifetime.
Later Inupi would confront Koko and the long haired friend would only say “You didn't have the balls, consider it a favor”
