So I had a thought. Jotakak Beauty And The Beast AU but with a...... twist? I guess???

because I’ve seen a lot of them with Jotaro as the Beast and Kakyoin as the Belle, and no disrespect to them but also like........ based on their characters, there’s so much opportunity for it to be the other way round and nobody’s using it

we have Kakyoin who was isolated growing up. He was constantly surrounded by so many people, yet because they could never understand or accept or even see an integral piece of him, it prevented him from forming any lasting bonds. This time he has the additional pressure of being a prince and the social status that comes with it, leading to him growing bitter and lonely and angry, who’s almost completely given up on anyone caring for them. After all, if nobody cared for him before when he was cursed, why could anyone care when he was a monster

we have Jotaro, who we've seen regarded as being attractive and constantly surrounded by women who seek his affections, but because of how shallow it is he hates it. He pushes back, makes it very clear he has no interest, and is regarded as strange and unordinary because of it. He only has a single parent, his mother this time, who probably wouldn’t be very well received by the community because they’re foreigners and not native to the area

I also think it would be funny if Jotaro tried fighting a wolf with his bare hands

Beauty and the Beast x JOJO AU

Imagine Fugio, but Beauty and the Beast. Fugo was cursed by the Enchantress for his awful temper and selfish attitude, and all his servants- Bucciarati, Narancia, Abbacchio, and Mista- turn into objects around the castle. His curse will only lift when he falls in love. Full of self-loathing and anger, the Beast locks himself up in the castle for years.

And then there’s Giorno. Giorno is peculiar to all the townspeople, his nose stuck in a biology book and not really fitting in with the rest because of his race, looks, and love for science. Giorno lives with his old and only father, Johnathan, an Archeologist trying to make a name for himself. The townspeople believe that both of them are crazy loons, but the father and son ignore it, finding solace in each other and talking about their daily discoveries. Of the townspeople there is only one who is interested with Giorno, Diavolo (serving as the Gaston of this AU), but unlike the original Gaston, he is interested in Giorno for his talents in agriculture. The Joestars have the most beautiful, productive farm in town, and many farmers are jealous of it. As the leader of the town, Diavolo wants to buy out the Joestars, hire Giorno and offers him large sums of money to work for him. Diavolo sees that Giorno’s talents are wasted staying with his father. However, Giorno despises Diavolo and sees that he’s a selfish man. He treats his workers poorly and gives them below minimum wage. He refuses to work for him. There is also his father, Johnathan, that is getting old. He wants to take care of him.

One day, his father Johnathan leaves out of town and doesn’t come back. Giorno goes to find him, locked up in a castle’s dungeon. This is where he meets a terrifying creature in the shadows, glowing yellow eyes, salivating, tall, and cloaked. Giorno tries to stay level-headed even though he’s scared, and makes a deal with the Beast that he’ll take his father’s place as a prisoner. He sacrifices his dream of exploring the world to save the one thing more important than his dream: Johnathan. Fugo is moved by Giorno’s selfless heart, and also sees the potential in using Giorno to break the curse before his 21st birthday. He agrees to let Johnathan go in exchange for Giorno…

Words of Shakespeare: Happy 20th Anniversary Supanova!

On the weekend of the 18th and 19th of June 2022, I went with six friends and two support workers (and of course my old friend Richard and other friends Sam and Hayden) went to the Supanova Comic and Gaming convention at The Dome at Sydney Olympic Park (my favourite entertainment fortress of solitude!).

Throughout the weekend, we saw a variety of cosplayers from Anime such as My Hero Academia and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, video games from my childhood such as Pokémon, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon and Games from the previous decade including Undertale and Deltarune, cartoons and animated movies such as Steven Universe, the popular Disney adventure cartoon The Owl House and classics such as Beauty and the Beast and Mulan, web cartoons such as Vivienne Medrano’s Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss and Rooster Teeth’s RWBY, childhood animations such as Pingu, Characters from cult shows such as Monkey from the British gag dub of the same name that aired on ABC in the early eighties and of course cosplay from sci-fi movies and tv shows such as Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who and Marvel and DC comic books and movies including classic heroes and villains such as Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Loki, Superman, Batman, The Joker, Harley Quinn and the rest.

A majority of the well designed displays of the cosplayers were also shown at the Cosplay Showcase at the Cosplay Theatre across from The Dome at Hall 5.

I was also amazed by how many male cosplayers can cosplay as female characters like for example, when I saw a male Tawna Bandicoot cosplayer and females cosplaying as Deku from My Hero.

At Supanova when I first entered The Dome, there was a wall of Supanova Posters from the past 20 years starting with 2002 up until this year, my much loved Convention has hosted a plethora of well known guests from movies, tv shows, anime and cartoons including Sean Schemmel (voice of Goku from the Dragon Ball anime), Dan Green (voice of Yugi Mutou/ Pharaoh from Yu-Gi-Oh! Classic and Knuckles the Echidna from Sonic X and the various Sonic games from 2003-2009), Barbara Eden (From I Dream of Jeannie), John Barrowman (From Doctor Who) David Hasselhoff (from Baywatch) The late Verne Troyer (Mini Me from the Austin Powers movie franchise) and Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia Organa of Star Wars) , Richard Horvitz (voice of Invader Zim and Alpha 5 from the earlier Power Rangers seasons Mighty Morphin to Turbo and currently the voice of Moxxie from Helluva Boss), Jeremy Shada, John DiMaggio, Olivia Olson and Jessica DiCicco, the Adventure Time cast of Finn, Jake, Marceline and Flame Princess/Phoebe respectively, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers cast members Jason David Frank (Tommy), Austin St John (Jason), Walter Emmanuel Jones (Zack), Johnny Yong Bosch (Adam), David Yost (Billy), Karan Ashley (Aisha) and of course the late legendary godfather of Marvel Comic Book superheroes Stan Lee who appeared in the 2014 edition of Supanova in Sydney. I have been attending Supanova Comic Cons since 2011 with the exception of 2015 when I was experiencing financial and physical burnout from my Melbourne trip and 2020 which was unable to be held due to well…horrid stuff and seeing those old posters of previous cons made me feel very nostalgic.

Supanova had a variety of stalls which you could buy various merchandise such as comics, pop vinyl figures, statues, trading cards, plush dolls of anime characters and video game characters and vintage merchandise such as action figures from tv show and cartoon franchises including Transformers, Power Rangers, He-Man, Batman the animated series, Star Wars, Star Trek and older comics from the eighties and nineties. Supanova also had a stall where you could buy autographs from previous years conventions.

For those who want some physical enjoyment, there was the archery target course and of course, my new favourite from last year, the Battlecry LARP sword fights. Richard and I had a great time taking down a burly ax wielding knight with rubber swords as you get a lot of exercise out of it as well!

There was also Star Wars Lightsaber demonstrations and testing your might as you try to lift Thor’s Hammer Mjölnir!

For those who love gaming, there were gaming areas where you could play Rocket League, Super Smash Bros and Ubisoft’s Just Dance whilst there was also gaming tournaments and demonstrations as well and of course board and dice games such as Dungeons and Dragons!

Looking through The Alley seeing all the prints of artwork and comic books by independent artists made me feel amazed inside, I bought a print of Spyro the Dragon and stickers of Stolas and Blitzø of Helluva Boss from Bunsanity and a commission of the character Wizarmon/Wizardmon from Bandai’s Digimon virtual pet, anime and video game franchise from art by Cyanide. I really loved how well designed Wizarmon looked even though if the artists never got into the Digimon franchise.

I even had my fortune told via Pokémon trading cards by a Mimikyu cosplayer!

There was also comic book artists from Australia such as Alex T. Trip who did illustrations for The Phantom, Jamie Johnson who did illustrations for IDW’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics and Dean Rankine who did illustrations for Simpsons Comics and Oggy and the Cockroaches (France’s answer to Tom and Jerry). One of the comic books I bought was by independent comic book artist Bad Harvie and his Ozploitation anthology comic book series modelled after Grindhouse low budget horror movies from the seventies and eighties. Definitely not for those with a weak stomach if I say so myself.

I was also happy that there wasn’t any offending stalls at the Alley unlike last year when Supanova was embroiled in controversy where there was a stall selling right wing extremist and Neo Nazi merchandise as conventions are a place of celebrating who we are and we do not condone any hate here.

For the con-goers who were looking for an appetite, Dominos Pizza was serving up pizzas, garlic bread and Pepsi drinks as usual and the cafés inside the Dome sold Pies, burgers and Bagels. Outside the dome had stalls such as Chips on a Stick, Wally’s Hot Dogs, Hot Dog on a Stick, Cheese on a Stick (who would usually be there at the Sydney Royal Easter Show) and Ian’s Ice Creams.

Now it was time for the main attraction and a mainstay for Supanova since the beginning, the guests! This year’s Sydney Supanova was the first edition with overseas stars in three years caused by well…again…bad stuff and the guests included Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum aka Clark Kent and Lex Luthor from Smallville, Michael Biehn from The Terminator and The Mandalorian, Mark Shepperd from Supernatural, Emile De Ravine from Once Upon a Time, James and Oliver Phelps aka the Weasley Twins from the Harry Potter films, the part of the Supanova furniture, John Jarratt who is a very friendly fellow despite playing one of the most infamous horror characters in Australian film history which is Mick Taylor from the Wolf Creek movies (which gave me uncontrollable bowel movement when I was younger and Jarratt never appeared on an episode of Play School in the eighties for those who are a victim of the “Mandela Effect!”), and of course, one of the first few guests from Supanova’s inaugural convention in 2002, Veronica Taylor, the original voice of Ash Ketchum from the 4Kids English dub of the Pokémon anime series and movies from 1998 to 2006.

Even though I was very determined to wait two and a half hours to obtain Taylor’s autograph and photo with her (and a much needed interval to use the restroom and chow down on a hot dog on a stick!), it was definitely worth the $60 to greet Taylor and to acknowledge her as one of the voices of my childhood growing up watching the Pokémon anime in the late nineties and early 2000’s on Cheez TV hosted by Jade and Ryan (who also appeared at the 2016 Edition of Supanova).

Taylor was also a very lovely person to talk to as well as I discussed all those precious memories!

I also attended a seminar at the Cosplay theatre where the Phelps Twins discussed their time playing as the Weasleys in the Harry Potter films with a number of funny stories to tell too!

This year’s Supanova was a roaring return to form and without any controversies or kerfuffles after what happened last year in the artist’s alley. Supanova is such a great way to dress up as your favourite character, meet new friends, join and explore new fandoms, be involved in activities, meeting your favourite celebrities and of course, reliving your childhood in the process (like I did when I met Veronica)!

My only negatives for this year’s convention was the long waiting time in groups to see big name celebrities and only a minuscule number of voice actors appearing. After all, we are still in a dwindling health crisis and we should get to see more well known voice actors from cartoons and anime next year (Still praying for Richard Horvitz!) and of course, more well known guests from movies and tv shows!

I give this year’s Supanova an 8 out of 10!

May I request a Beauty and the Beast au? We're Jonathan is the beast and the reader is beauty. Bonus points if it's like the original fairy tale then the Disney version.

Beauty and the Beast AU

As requested, this is based more on the original fairy tale than Disney, if you don’t know the original tale of it, look at ‘abitfrank’ video of it on Youtube.

It was something many would find silly and cliche. The story of a young woman falling in love with a beast for some deeper meaning of love meaning to love more than appearances. And that mostly the case with this, though there was more to it. 

A light sigh slipped her lips as [Name] closed the book she had been reading and leaned back lightly in the large chair, her mind a bit too preoccupied to allow her to focus on the book. The recent events that led to her being here was all just strange for her but, for the sake of her family and her “captor” -could she really call him that?- she had to remain. 

[Name]’s father often worked away from London to be able to support his family and, during one of these business trips, his carriage had crashed quite some miles away from the city. He wandered the wooded area, trying to find a path when he had stumbled upon a lovely manor that sat upon a small hill with fields of flowers behind it and wooded area around it, like a cloak almost. The soft lights that glowed from the windows was welcoming, informing the man of life inside of the manor and possible help.  

He entered the manor and was surprised to find it seemingly empty yet a roaring fire awaited him, offering him warmth to fend of the biting cold that nipped his skin. A meal also awaited him. It was strange but [Father’s Name] needed it. By the time daylight came around, he was ready to leave and explored the garden before he did. There, in the vibrant garden of roses, lilies and other manner of beautiful flowers, was a rose. The most beautiful rose he has ever laid eyes on. The petals were vibrant and rich in colour, no indications of withering and the stem was a lovely shade of green. It was stunning. [Father’s Name] knew that it would be the perfect gift for his daughter, [Name], and so carefully plucked the rose from its bush.

That was when the owner of the manor made his appearance. Dark fur that covered his entire form that stood well over six feet tall, horns that curled backwards slightly from his head, blending with the colour of the fur. Bright, luminous blue eyes that held a glow to them not unlike a cat’s eyes. Remains of what appeared to have been clothes covered the fur as well, fine stitching and good material. The beast had demanded to keep him for stealing his precious rose and her father begged him to let him go, explaining how the rose was going to be a gift for his daughter. 

That did seem to affect the beast’s decision, altering it so that in exchange for the man’s freedom, he wanted the daughter instead. Though, the beast said that he didn’t want the father to sugarcoat the situation, he wanted the daughter to know what was happening and her consent for it. He even gave the father a crate full of jewels and money to be able to support his family if the daughter refused to come.

When her father told her, [Name] was consumed with shock and concern for her father. She didn’t wish to see him trapped with the beast and so agreed to this, much to her family’s dismay. 

The beast, who called himself Jonathan or JoJo, was nothing like she had expected. He welcomed her politely with a smile and small bow, and showed her around the manor before inviting her down to dine with him. He was, dare she say, nothing short of a gentleman. Jonathan gave her free-range of the manor and she thanked him for all he did for her. Still, this was all strange to her but she was willing to accept it. 

A knock at the door was heard, pulling her from her thoughts. 

“Come in.” She called, turning her gaze to the door as it opened and Jonathan entered, a smile on his lips when he saw her. She returned the smile, “Hello JoJo.” 

“Hello [Name], how are you finding everything? Are the books good?” the beast asked, closing the door behind him and approaching her side, taking a seat on another chair. She nodded, 

“Yes, they are really good. Thank you for bringing them to me.” It was not uncommon for him to bring her gifts in the form of books or other things she asked for or he found that he believed she would like; and she would do what she could to show her gratitude and appreciation of these. The two had spent hours talking to one another during her time here, and had grown to become fond of each other. He, despite his beastly appearance, was far more humane than the people she has seen late at night in London, fighting in the streets. He smiled, 

“You are most welcome, I am glad you like them.” He reached into his jacket -which [Name] had repaired, along with his other torn shirts and clothes, a way to show her thanks to him- and pulled out a small, white book, handing it to her. The front cover had the word “Wish” written on it. “This is also for you. It allows you to wish for whatever you want.” She took the small book from his clawed hands and carefully examined it, 

“Thank you, JoJo. This is beautiful.” [Name] spoke, [Eye colour] orbs looking through the book with curiosity. Jonathan smiled at this, pleased that [Name] enjoys all he has to offer her. As she examined the book, he took a breath and looked at her. 

“[Name], will you marry me?” he asked her, his tone soft and gentle as sunlight on a warm day. [Name] took a soft breath and looked at him, shaking her head a little. 

“I’m sorry, JoJo, but I am not ready for that.” She responded. This was not the first time Jonathan has asked for her hand in marriage, he has asked her frequently during her time here. And each time, she has denied him. When he first asked her, she was terrified of angering him but he assured her that whatever her answer was he would respect it, and he did. [Name] could not deny that she had grown to develop feelings for Jonathan but to be asked for marriage was too soon for her, and he understand and accepted that, much to her relief. 

Perhaps...maybe one day she would accept his request for her hand but she didn’t know. Still, she kept herself focused and thanked him again for the book. Jonathan smiled and left her alone with the book. He knew that his behaviour may seem very forward but he could not help himself. [Name] was beautiful, her kindness towards him all but melted his heart. Even in this cursed form, she treated him as she would any normal person she met, and he appreciated that. For too long he has been greeted with fear by those who stumbled upon his manor despite his attempts to show he meant no harm. 

Yet, [Name] did just the opposite. She treated him as a human and he felt warm because of it. His heart would bloom with that warmth whenever he was around her and he cherished the warmth. He took a small sigh outside of the room and turned on his heel, walking down the hall and continued with the arranging of the library.

‘I’m already dreaming of our wedding. Can you imagine it?’

  “Whatever happened to that demon you used to talk to?”

“Hm?-” you tilt your head in response to your friend, Marlene’s question. She just gave you a tired look while shaking her head, “You know, that boy with the spikey hair, that Joestar kid. The one who said he was a demon or something” she said motioning her hands in attempts to make you remember who she was talking about. You sigh and place your cup of tea down, “Oh Jojo? I guess we still talk..but we haven’t been seeing each other recently because of the engagement” you admitted taking one look at the blue sapphire engagement ring on your finger. 

 Marlene smiled as she watched you admire the ring before sighing at the sight. “I will never understand you [first], I would’ve married the Joestar kid. Although he is a little crazy, he does come from a wealthy family. You could become rich in seconds” she commented while reaching over to grab a pastry that sat on the table. You rolled your eyes at the statement, “Jojo is just a friend, and Caesar..well he is special. He is romantic and funny, and oh so handsome, I couldn’t ask for a better fiancee” you sighed dreamigly before picking up your purse from the floor. “I suppose you’re right, you always did prefer Zeppeli over all your suitors. Anyway, come on I’ll lead you to the door” Marlene told you walking towards the entrance of her home while you followed after. 

 “I’ll see you tomorow Marlene” you said looking back at your friend. She nodded and waved back “I’ll see you then! Say hi to Caesar for me!” she yelled. 

You chuckled and made your way home. Most people would take a jeep to their destination, but you prefered to just walk; it was a lot more relaxing that way. What you didn’t know however, was that a certain brunette had been following you throughout the beginning of your walk.

 Fifteen minutes in, you felt someone hug you from behind while covering your eyes. “Guess who?” The person asked, but by that point you had already recognized the voice. “Really Jojo? You made yourself too obvious” you said wiggling your way out of the British man’s grip. You were greeted with his goofy smile right away, “Yup! It’s me you favorite little devil!” Joseph said using his fingers to make ‘horns’ on his head. You chuckled, you remember the first encounter you had with him, was him claiming he was a demon. You’ll admit, at first you were annoyed with his little devil fantasies, but soon you grew used to it.   “So [first], I was thinking if you wanted to come see that new movie in theaters, I’ll buy you a ticket if you’d like!” he said reaching over to hold your hand. “Sorry Jojo, I won’t be able to tonight, you see-”

 “Then how about right now-?” he asked.

 “No Jojo, I mean I can’t go out with you tonight, I have a date with Caesar-” you said trying to explain to him. However, Joseph just didn’t seem to comprehend. Instead of being happy for you, the brunette started a temper tantrum of some sorts. “Who’s Caesar? You’ve never told me about him. What date? You’re going to cancel our plans for him?” Joseph’s tone was starting to get more aggressive, and truth be told you were starting to get a bit scared. You came to your senses though, “Jojo, listen to me, I know we haven’t been talking as of late, but I been meaning to tell you that-” 

 “That what? You’re running off with some ‘Caesar’ and leaving me to dust?” 

 You didn’t notice it at first, but Joseph’s beautiful baby blue eyes had turned into a crimson red from anger and jealousy alone. You finally  manged to get away from Joseph, “No Joseph! Listen I’m not leaving you, but I can’t deny the fact that I have a fiancee I need to get to. I have a date tonight, and whether you accept it or not, I am going” you stated, quickly walking off. The grip Joseph had on you was almost inhuman, that the fact you managed to get away was a miracle. You don’t know what gotten into Joseph, but right now you had to get ready for your date, you assumed you would talk to Joseph later and sort things out. But Joseph is not a patient man, and he wants to sort things out now.

 Joseph just couldn’t understand the situation at hand. He couldn’t understand why you had a fiancee, and that fiancee was another man who was not him. That thought alone haunted and angered the male. He would be considered a fool if he didn’t notice the damn sapphire ring you wore with pride. “That Caesar was pronanly the one who gave it to her” he whispered to himself as he followed you home. You were already way ahead of him, but for now he must control himself before he wrecks your date and your relationship.

  “Maybe I should’ve worn more perfume. You didn’t tell me we were going to a fancy restaurant ” you told the blonde Italian who sat next to you. Caesar smiled warmly, “Why? If you smell just fine amore, you’re wearing that new perfume I bought you no? ” he said kissing your hand. You giggled at his romantic charm, he always seemed to know how to make you feel giddy inside. “Pardon me amore, while I go to get you a surprise” Caesar said giving you small kiss on you cheek, before leaving the dining room. You sighed in utter glee, Caesar was just the perfect man, and you were more than ecstatic for your future wedding.

 You started to get worried for Caesar, it had been more than thirty minutes since he went out to give you your ‘surprise’. It’s not that you were getting impatient, you were starting to question his safety. You stood up and asked a waitress coming by if she had seen the blonde. She told you that she saw him go outside the restaurant. Quickly, you left the restaurant, only to be greeted by Caesar who came out of a dark alley. “What the hell Caesar! Why did you leave without telling me?” you exclaimed, you genuinely thought he was in danger or something. Little did you know he was. “Oh sorry babe, I was just getting your surprise” he said nonchalently. He reached for his pocket and pulled out a ruby ring. “Oh Caesar you shouldn’t have, but I already have a ring, you didn’t have to buy me another one” you said taking the ring. It was odd for Caesar to buy you a red ring, but you didn’t question it.

 “C’mon babe take the blue one off and wear the one I just gave you” He smirked snatching your hand and practically ripping the sapphire ring from your finger and forcefully placing the ruby ring on your ring finger. You were shocked by Caesar’s unusual force fullness. Was this even Caesar at all? Your impossible thoughts were made a reality when as soon as the ruby ring was placed on your finger, black smoke began to release from Caesar’s mouth. You screamed, the whole scene that was playing out in front of you felt like a nightmare. It became worse when you saw that Joseph was in front of you and your beloved Caesar was on the cold concrete. Dead.

 “No Caesar! Wake up-!” you tried bending down towards your lover’s body, but Joseph had other plans in mind. The brunette grabbed you and licked your neck, “Tsk tsk, next you’ll say, “Joseph you bastard how could you do this-!”

 “Joseph you bastard! How could you do this!” you wanted to hold back tears as you came to the realization that Caesar was dead, and that Joseph was always the beast he said he was. 

 “Doesn’t it feel great to finally be engaged with me? I’m already dreaming of our wedding. Can you imagine it? I know I can. And who knows maybe you’ll like being my bride. You’ll watch our kids laugh and grow, and you and I will be inseparable ” he whispered in your ear while mocking you, lifting your hand up so you could see your ring finger. 

You were fully crying now, your sobs are what filled the entire alley. Joseph didn’t seem to care as he made you embrace the darkness with him. You might now want this now, but you’ll have to learn to love him.

Jotaro X Reader: Beauty and the Beast

Via Anon: Taking requests? Oo how about Jotaro x Reader but it's a Beauty and the Beast AU. So basically what that means is Jotaro's the prince/Beast, and Y/N is Belle. And mayyybe they dance together like in the movie? ♡♡

A/N: OMG this is so cute !!! I was so scared to fulfill this request because I was afraid you wouldn’t like the result, but after a pep talk to myself, I decided to do it!!

It had been exactly a week since I’d seen my best friend, Jotaro. Was he okay? I don’t think he’s even been out of his house. I sighed as I kicked rocks across the road on my way to school. 

What was wrong with him? Was he sick? Did he get a bad haircut and didn’t want anyone to see? Impossible. He always wears that stupid hat. That cap that covered his beautiful eyes and sharp eyebrows... 

I must’ve had a dreamy look on my face because Kakyoin quickly snapped me out of my trance with a chuckle. “I see the puppy dog eyes.”

I shoved him playfully and chuffed. He barely even budged. “Shush. I told you not to talk about it.”

“Look,” he started, taking his sunglasses off and pocketing them, “I know how long you’ve liked Jojo for. I’ve been here while you ranted about those girls that obsess over him. I was there when he spilled a drink on you at the Cafe and he literally cleaned it off of you. I see the look on your face when your watching him focus on something. All this time that you refuse to confess your feelings for him is just gonna hinder you in the end.”

As he spoke, my cheeks turned pink. He was right. All the small moments I spent with Jotaro were coming to my mind all at once. All the late nights teaching him calculus or literature. The numerous “accidental” hand touches when we were chilling in the Cafe after school. Every single time I would fall asleep on his shoulder or vice versa. Maybe he...

“Does he feel the same, Kakyoin? And why haven’t I seen him all week? Please, just tell me. I know he tells you everything.” I stopped walking and grabbed the redhead’s wrist, stopping him in his tracks. He looked back at me cautiously.

Kakyoin was quiet. He looked down at his feet. All he said was, “You should go check on him.” 

“Thanks for nothing,” I grumbled as I headed to my best friend’s house.

When I arrived at the Kujo residence, it was weirdly quiet. Mrs. Holly must’ve been away. I knocked softly on the door and called for Jotaro.

“Joot...? Are you okay?” 

After a few seconds the door cracked open. Everything inside was dark. “Go away. I don’t wanna see anyone right now.”

Jotaro sounded upset but something told me not to give up just yet. “Jotaro, it’s just me, (Y/N). Please let me in? I’ve missed you...” My voice was soft and inviting but it didn’t seem to make him budge.

“No,” he muttered. I saw his fist clench around the door.

“Jotaro, please just open the door. I just wanna make sure you’re okay.”

“Just go away. I’m fine. I’m not going to tell you again,” he growled, trying to shut the door. However, I put my foot in the crack to stop it. 

“Jotaro. I’m not going away. Just let me see so I can help you. Please?” I slowly tried to open the door but almost fell face first as he opened it wide. 

“Fine! Is this what you wanted to see, bitch?!” His voice sounded dangerous. But as I looked up at him, he looked even more menacing than his voice. 

Black, curly fur covered his face and chest. His eyes were a golden yellow that glinted in the light. His nose was more of a snout now, and his fingernails were now sharp claws.

“J-Jotaro I-” I wasn’t even sure what to say. I was in shock. What was he?

“Are you satisfied? I got turned into a beast by some stupid witch bitch. I didn’t want anyone to see me... Especially you.” He looked down at me coyly and then turned away. Even his back was furry.

I blushed softly and stepped in to place my hands on his shoulders. He flinched softly so I pulled my hands away carefully. “It’s okay, Jotaro. Maybe I can help you...” I walked around his massive frame to meet his eyes. I looked up at him and smiled softly. 

“I can only turn back to normal when I experience true love.” 

At that, I felt my cheeks burn up. I looked away shyly and sighed. Who was his true love? Did he even have one? He seemed so emotionally unavailable. I mean, I still I had a crush on him, but still.

In the silence, I heard a radio playing quietly from somewhere in the house. I looked up at Jojo, who was already looking at me. Extending his hand toward me, his expression softened. “Just dance with me, woman.”

I raised an eyebrow and looked up at him, puzzled. He wanted to... dance? With me?

I slowly put my hand in his and felt his giant paw wrap around my dainty hand. Blushing, I looked up at him as he started to sway us from side to side to the beat of the music. His eyes seemed to glow while he looked down at me. What was he trying to tell me without speaking?

A few steps around the room and my stomach was filled with butterflies. Had he been practicing this dance? He was extremely good at it. His feet didn’t fumble and every step was intentional. His hands rested against my hips with a calming gentleness, like nothing could hurt me as long as he was holding me like this. After a few minutes, I realized that I could use this chance to tell Jojo how I really felt about him.

My stomach was tied up in knots as I mumbled, “Jotaro?”

He glanced down at me, one of his eyebrows cocked. “Yeah?”

I took a deep breath and stopped in my tracks. Gathering my courage, I furrowed my brows and bit my lip.

“Jotaro, I like you. Like, a lot. I’ve never liked anyone the way I do with you. You’re always on my mind, and whenever we hang out I always just wanna hug you and tell you everything is gonna be okay because we’re together and as long as you have me you’ll always be cared for. When I look at you, my heart beats a little faster. When our hands touch, I don’t ever stop thinking about it. When I see you happy, I’m happy too. You bring out the best in me and I know you probably don’t care because you think i’m annoying but-”

I was cut off by a pair of lips against mine. My eyes widened as I realized Joot was kissing me. I quickly regained my composure and closed my eyes, relaxing into his arms. I felt us being lifted into the air and moved my hands to hold his face. 

When we pulled away, Jotaro was no longer covered in fur. He was back to normal. I smiled wide and ran my hand aling the soft skin of his cheek. His blue eyes were shiny as he chuckled. 

“Yare yare, wish you had told me earlier. I don’t think you’re annoying. I happen to think you’re amazing.” His face was soft and his pink lips were set in a gentle smile. I kissed them again and sighed.

“God, I’m so glad.”

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 7: Steel Ball Run

Dino-Infected!Yandere!Gyro Zeppeli x Fem!Reader

Summary: Something had been amiss lately. Something about him was different in a terrifying way, and when you finally find out the cause for his sudden change in behavior, everything around you changes.

Notes: Angst, Swearing, Yandere, Minor physical violence

“You better not leave me anytime soon, okay?” He had said, his voice carried by a playful chuckle.

“Don’t worry, Gyro. I won’t,” you had answered innocently, your vision that was filled with unconditional love oblivious to his true nature and obsession.

Something wasn’t right with him. Something behind those usually gorgeous eyes and that charming grin wasn’t like it had once been. He got more aggressive, more possessive, and before you even realized, he behaved like a totally different person. Not like a person at all, but like a feral animal.

You should have realized it sooner, just how sick he was. How twisted his mind had so suddenly become. The way he behaved, the way he spoke, and the way he acted around you when you were in the company of others, it wasn’t normal. And it scared you. You gradually noticed the small actions like subtly glaring at someone you had just talked to, tightening his hold on your waist and pulling you aside on multiple occasions, and even saying you weren’t allowed to leave your shared home. It was overwhelming and somewhere deep within you, you knew that things wouldn’t end well if this continued. 

You had this haunting feeling that something was going to go horribly wrong. The reason for this troubling feeling was unknown to you but you knew for a fact that Gyro wasn’t like he once was. His demeanor frightened you to the point where you’d rather spend your time alone or with anyone else other than him. You wanted to say you loved him, but you couldn’t. Not with how he currently was. Perhaps you could have a conversation with him about the issue and bring forth your concern about your relationship and how it would be better if you-

“What did you say?” The tone of his voice was cold, something you had never heard come out of his mouth. Immediately, a fog of uneasiness and anxiety surrounded you, making you instinctively take half a step backward. “I... I said I don’t think this works out anymore...” Slowly, the sound of your increasing heartbeat reached your ears, your voice being barely audible to a normal human. But not to him.

His eye twitched at the sight of your beautiful (E/C) eyes looking at him with such fear. Those pretty little lips frowning at him, and that fast heart rate he could clearly hear thanks to his heightened senses. Though the view was adorable to him, the words you let out uncomfortably stabbed him where it hurt most. “Why would you say that?” He asked, voice low and filled with such unhinged disappointment, it sent cold shivers down your spine.

You swallowed a lump that gets stuck to your throat and keep your eyes on him, his own staring back at you in a way that makes your stomach twist in fear. “I just...” Another step back. “I-I don’t think I can...” Your shaky voice doesn’t allow the words you so desperately try to form to come out of your mouth, something emitting from Gyro preventing you from forming coherent sentences. His eyes have lost their usual shine as they follow your every move and something about how he stands in front of you silently makes you want to get far away from him.

You attempt to take another step away from him, but stop in your tracks when his voice snaps at you, sounding far more hostile than before. “Don’t you fucking dare run away from me.” His eyes are glued on you, intensely piercing your entire being as a sound resembling an animal’s growl quickly surrounds you. Every part of your body freezes, a fearful gasp escaping from your lips as he takes a heavy step towards you. “G-Gyro... P-please...” The situation had quickly turned to something else, something far more dangerous you could have ever anticipated, and the only thought that entered your mind was to get out of there. Fast.

Without much hesitation, you somehow overcame the fear that was paralyzing you and bolted out of the room, heading towards the front door. Your heart hammered in your chest, tears pooled in your eyes and your consciousness was filled with the helpless desire to escape. However not only was it helpless, it was utterly futile.

A terrified shriek ripped out of your throat when you felt something forcefully grabbing your arm with an amount of strength that for sure didn’t belong to a human. Your teary eyes turned to Gyro, except it wasn’t him. Not anymore. His eyes were glowing maliciously, one side of his mouth that held sharp teeth that could only belong to a beast from a fairy tale was strangely cracked and the hand that had a painfully firm grip on you had claws that dug into your skin. “L-let me go!” distressed groans left your mouth as you tried to free yourself from his iron-like grip that only seemed to tighten with every movement you made. How was he this strong?!

With one swift movement, you were thrown into the ground, which only worsened your current state of panic. You thrashed around, trying to get up and continue your utterly fruitless attempt to escape, only to feel both of your wrists being grabbed with the same amount of force from earlier and pinned to the hard ground below. Your tearful eyes met his unhinged ones and all previous signs of sanity they may have held within them disappeared completely. Low growls rumbled in his throat, his claws once again digging into the skin of your wrist. 

“You know...” He started, his furious voice distorted by whatever being was infecting him. “I was only gonna have little chat with you...” His grip tightened, another cry of pain left your mouth, desperate tears rolling down your cheeks. “But you really pissed me off with that little stunt you pulled there.” 

“S-stop Gyro! Y-you’re hurting me!” You managed to choke out, his claws sending waves of agonizing pain throughout your arm. However your desperate cries of help seemed to go unheard by him. How had it come to this? What happened to him? The man you once knew and loved was gone, replaced by this feral beast that only awakened terror in you.

“You ran. You fucking ran even though I told you not to!” He yelled, anger boiling within him at your actions. Everything had gone so well, so perfectly, just as he had imagined and now you dared to try to run away from him? Everything around him crumbled into dust and now the only thing fueling him was fury and his twisted desire to have you all to himself.

“I won’t let you go.” Your (E/C) eyes widened at that. His words hit you violently in a way that felt like someone had just shot you. Your struggling ceases, and you look at him, despair floating in your orbs. The gaze that frames his eyes fills your insides with an uncomfortable sensation of terror you had never felt before. Only now you understood the cursed mess you had gotten yourself into. The signs were right in front of you, but you chose to ignore them.

And now, the vicious beast that was once the man you loved, had you in its claws, with no intentions of letting you go.

Like a Moth to the Flame (Good Omens), A field of words I wish I would have said (JJBA), Lights around my heart (BNHA, Bakudeku), Cookie Thief (BNHA, pre-slash, but Kiribaku), Growing closer (Good Omens again)

Mostly yes, it takes me aaaages though, leading to some comments where I answer.... months later, Oops....

6)  What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

I guess Empty Nation would be the one with the angstiest ending.... Since it is an angsty fic... And has no ending.... And probably never will have.... -eyes shifting away guiltily- (it would have had a happy ending though, if I ever gotten to write it to the end)

I guess Like a Moth to the Flame can be called Crossover? In the sense that it is a Beauty and the Beast AU? Otherwise, nope

Yeah... It was part of the reason why I dropped Empty Nation...

Mostly because the first few chapters are already posted and there might be people still waiting for it (though I doubt it, after years of wait) But I fell so thoroughly out of that fandom and into different hyperfixations and haven’t even had any new ideas for this since I dropped it, I doubt I’ll ever be able to pick up the pieces again

15) What are your writing strengths?

Introspection and inner thoughts, I think, I do believe I can describe the mood of a character pretty well, or at least, that’s what takes up most of the screentime in my writing

16) What are your writing weaknesses?

Grammar and punctuation probably, since English isn’t my first language But other than that.... I think fight scenes?

17) What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Since I do speak more than one language, I could probably sneak in some German into my writing, though there’s the question when that would ever be necessary I could also maybe put in some rudimentary Japanese, though I don’t know whether I trust my language skills in that regard just yet

Naruto

19) What’s your favourite fic you’ve written?

Probably Like a Moth to the Flame because it is my longest fic, but I also had a lot of fun with A field of words I wish I would have said and Lights around my heart (and Empty Nation too, to be quite honest, before writer’s block kicked in)
