It is currently raining my favorite kind of rain. It's heavy enough to make a nice noise, but not an overpowering downpour. There's no wind so I can keep the windows open without having to worry about the inside getting wet and enjoy the amazing smell. It's moving slow enough that I can listen to it for a long time. It's just the right temperature out so I can have the windows open without getting cold or making it uncomfortably warm inside. And there's the occasional rumble of thunder. Bliss.

Extraordinary amount of rain this autumn day and the little blue bell that sprung up in the midst of the baby lavender plant is very happy about it. It was so grey and chilly I built the first fire in the fireplace of the winter and wrote on the next chapter of We Regret. I’ll be posting it tomorrow most likely.
