Two Lover's Who - Journey Together - Part One Here they stood at the looking glass Eye fixed on each other They knew this would last. The wounds and the scars, Now fully exposed, The scourge has been lifted and blossoms now grow. Here in this land of their perfect delight Walking, with fingers tangled and holding each other tight. Knowing this journey was only the start Needing to rebuild their kingdom that had been torn apart Setting out on their expedtiton to the outskirts of their domain armor in place and weapons ready advancing against the enemies that remained. The Man Who - Knew Failure - Part 2 The battle is at hand The king rides his steed with might, watching in horror, as his men were cut down in terror, That woeful and darkened night. The army now decimated as the king drops his sword; the veil of the culture's climate thick with agony. The weight of defeat too much for his shoulders to carry. How could he face his followers as the last and lone survivor of this cataclysmic failure? He thought of the conflate gossips with all their suspicious lies It was inevitable to live disguised. Then all at once, he remembered another possibility Reaching in his pocket, his finger traced and outlined the magic bean. Was this his only hope for escape from his misery? Thinking for more moments than he cared to count... Should he do it, or is he taking the cowards way out? Then in an instant he swallows the bean transporting himself to a different realm. The Man Who - Was A King Part 1 At the river's edge there is adventure that brushes against the banks. The trees breathe of mysteries and tales of fantasies to utter. The king issues a decree on a quire of paper, "Today the gates of the kingdom will be fortified and strengthened against an inevitable attack." An attack by a forceful enemy, so powerful the foundations of the kingdom could crumble down to the core turning it into a land of desolation and rubble. The adversary is cunning and tenacious having ways to rip through the fabric of the realm. The king, recognizing the threat, he readies his army; mounting up on steeds of onyx and pearl the warriors ride to the battle lines. The security of the land at stake; the battle must be won at all costs or surely the kingdom will be devastated beyond oblivious recognition. Soldiers strong, flags held high, The stampeding hooves, the battle cry. This kingdom is ours it must stand Or we will surely die by enemy's hands. The war was waged with mighty screams. The soldiers fought so valiantly. The Woman Who Met A King - Part 4 Now risen from the grave Of her desecrated kingdom She stands in full power With a heart on fire With magic in one hand And emptiness in the other Then from the darkness emerges A shadow from the deep His mighty outstretched hand For her to take and keep. An Oracle of sorts Quite possibly a King, He lives and breathes among the trees and other sacred things. She looks to him with longing eyes Her brokenness revealed It's with that empty hand She grabs and clings to what she hopes is real. The queen stands in in majesty wielding her mighty sword as the susurrous of the forest becomes a mighty roar. Cutting down those Goliaths; who would tear her kingdom to shreds;. Bloody palms lifted towards heaven; this is her victory instead. And now because she is of mercy and of incomparable grace, horrified at the repugnance, she quickly hides her face. How could these creatures enter her world destroying the very fabric of all that her kingdom stands for? She feels disgraced and soiled by the fact that they got beyond the fortified gates. It is her purpose and design to secure and and save this place. She wonders as she cries deep within the forest's veil' how could this happen in her land? This must be a certain hell. And while she weeps, her kingdom stands encircling, encompassing, surrounding her in whole they comfort their dear Queen, witnessing her burdened soul. A whisper in the woods beckons to her heart sighing deep within her my dear, it's time to start. Time to rise and be brave Time to heal and to save Time must begin the mend Time to be royalty once again. Now with the Giants standing before her, she knew it would take all her power to stand firm and be unwaivering in her faith and for her kingdom. And even though she was as sweet as the honeysuckle's dew she could not lose ground to these monsters who came to toture her land and her mind. So in her mighty courage she stood on the shoulders of her dreams; determined to never back down, bow down or lay down before them. If they wanted her territory, It would be only by her death that she would relinquish the throne. She was but one breath away from certain destruction when her flame became ignited. Rising up and burning in her bones with fierce, relentless and reckless pursuit she turned the tables and chased after those beasts.
