Hola a todos!!!⠀ Hoy les traigo el último libro que leímos en el grupo de Romance en @nuestrorinconliterario y en esta oportunidad nos unimos a #relaxwithbook de @paginasqueatrapan y @amamosleer_uy ⠀ Gracias chicas nos encanto la experiencia, el debate fue hermoso y nos preparamos para ver la película que se estrena en @paramountplusla el primero de diciembre. ⠀ Se trata de "Piso para dos" de @betholearyauthor publicado por @penguinlibrosar muchas gracias @historiasqueenamoranarg por el ejemplar. ⠀ ⠀ "Las personas solo pueden salvarse a sí mismas. Lo más que puedes hacer es ayudarlas cuando están preparadas" ⠀ ⠀ Todos sabemos que la convivencia no es fácil, pero cuando nunca te ves con tu conviviente se complica ya que no conoces sus expresiones o sus malhumores.⠀ Lo que te demuestra esta historia es como dos personas que no se conocen pueden hacerlo con los detalles que dejan día a día y que solo una persona observadora puede retener y tomar en cuenta.⠀ Ellos se comunican con notas adhesivas que van dejando en el departamento, en lugares impensados, pero que para ellos funciona, así se van descubriendo y abriendo, hasta se dan cuenta cuando el otro tiene mal humor o necesita deshagorse.⠀ Admiro a la gente dispuesta a todo por el otro porque en estos tiempos no abundan, el egoísmo social cierra la oportunidad a nuevas relaciones. ⠀ ⠀ Uno de los personaje secundario de la historia hace gaslighting a otro. Es tan explícito e indignante que tenes ganas de meterte en el libro para hacerla reaccionar. She makes the protagonist very human, and someone whom we can always relate to. #menakaschoice was one such book about the Apsara Menaka and the loves of her life. 📕 📕 “That there are certain episodes in our lives that give you so much happiness, but which go bad for some reason or the other and yet we don’t get over them,’ she said, her eyes smudged with memory. ‘Possibly that’s why we tend to obsess over unfinished relationships!” 📕 📕 Menaka was born during the churning of the ocean. She was beauty with brains. However she wanted the one thing the Apsaras could not have family and conjugal bliss.
