He filled his cup to quench the insatiable thirsting of his mind. Swallowing down the elixir of raging tenacious torment It began to ferociously shred the fabric between his lifetimes. The Man Who - Knew Failure - Part 2 The battle is at hand The king rides his steed with might, watching in horror, as his men were cut down in terror, That woeful and darkened night. The army now decimated as the king drops his sword; the veil of the culture's climate thick with agony. The weight of defeat too much for his shoulders to carry. How could he face his followers as the last and lone survivor of this cataclysmic failure? He thought of the conflate gossips with all their suspicious lies It was inevitable to live disguised. Then all at once, he remembered another possibility Reaching in his pocket, his finger traced and outlined the magic bean. Was this his only hope for escape from his misery? Thinking for more moments than he cared to count... Should he do it, or is he taking the cowards way out? Then in an instant he swallows the bean transporting himself to a different realm. The Man Who - Was A King Part 1 At the river's edge there is adventure that brushes against the banks. The trees breathe of mysteries and tales of fantasies to utter. The king issues a decree on a quire of paper, "Today the gates of the kingdom will be fortified and strengthened against an inevitable attack." An attack by a forceful enemy, so powerful the foundations of the kingdom could crumble down to the core turning it into a land of desolation and rubble. The adversary is cunning and tenacious having ways to rip through the fabric of the realm. The king, recognizing the threat, he readies his army; mounting up on steeds of onyx and pearl the warriors ride to the battle lines. The security of the land at stake; the battle must be won at all costs or surely the kingdom will be devastated beyond oblivious recognition. Soldiers strong, flags held high, The stampeding hooves, the battle cry. This kingdom is ours it must stand Or we will surely die by enemy's hands. The war was waged with mighty screams. The soldiers fought so valiantly.
