Synopsis: Thwarting an assassination attempt should have been easy. But when the Emperor’s nearly kills himself staving off the attacker, Kyrae intervenes to save her father. Now what made the assassin such a formidable opponent is wrapped around Kyrae’s arm as silver bands.

A fragile peace and the rekindling of a century old civil war is now at stake. The opportunity for Kyrae to prove herself worthy of her bloodline and capable of controlling a power that so often leaves her crippled presents itself. After all, those danos wielders born under an eclipse rarely survived, the opposite elements inside them battling for dominance. With age comes more control. The trick was just surviving that long. Thankfully, Kyrae’s newest silver accessory seems to be helping with that tiny detail.

To prevent a reawakening ancient weapon from being used against them, Kyrae must journey to her people’s sunken homeland. So I was talking to a friend about a crush and about how she is ok with me being ace, and my friend tried the "maybe you just need to find the right person"... not in a aphobe kind of way but in a worried friend kind of way, still it hurt.

When people ask that I usually let it slide with a "Maybe it is like that since sexuality is fluid, but right now I identify as ace" but that was a close friend and I wasn't taking this shit from her. So, exhasperated I said "Would you tell a gay person they will grow out of it if they find the right person?". She immediately apologized and agreed with me.

Fucking finally. I do not like starting discusions about my sexuality with people I am not close with, but I wasn't having a friend say it to me ever again.
