40 days

That's how many days left until season 7 premiere of 9-1-1. Just 40 days until my blorbos come back from war.

And I couldn't hold out

We're at least 2 years away from season 3 of Good Omens and probably 9 months away from season 3 of Heartstopper. Yes I am doing splendidly thanks for asking.

I couldn't take it anymore and started a new show, my brain need a new hyperfixation

Adrienn Banai: The Rat Lover

I didn't want to post about any of this, but this person forced my hand.

I can't let this person run around on this hellsite anymore.

For those not in the know, this person harasses artists into drawing their husbando: a rat character named "Grey" from the children's series "Larva Island". Sometimes they also harass people into drawing Grey's grandpa, a female version of Grey named "Greyless", Grey wearing Roxanne's dress from "A Goofy Movie", and plenty of parodies of the opening scene of said movie. Like, they subjected one person to draw that same sequence with different characters like 6-7 times. And the "best" part? Sometimes they steal the poor victim's art to claim it as their own. And sometimes, they create edits of them WITHOUT CREDITING THE ORIGINAL ARTISTS. And when they do get caught, they apologize. A lot. But that's only a front to get respect again.

And I was one of their unfortunate victims. This person is weird as all hell; they ship this rat with Pibby (a character that is canonically from a preschool show), Meilin Lee (A hecking 13 year old girl), and Adrienn themselves.

The rat, according to the user, is 15 while the female version of the rest, his girlfriend, is 12.

Adrienn themselves are either 17 or 19.

The fandoms they follow are: -Courage the Cowardly Dog -Friday Night Funkin -Learning with Pibby -Little Nightmares -Turning Red -Anything Disney related (Goofy mostly) -Steven Universe -Made in Abyss -Road to El Dorado -Eddsworld -Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles -Super Mario series and, most importantly, Larva.

It's already kind of weird enough, but then I did more digging on this person. They have a butt ton of accounts on a multitude of social media websites. They have a few on reddit, a few on wikia, one on vimeo, and a few on behance, of all places. They have a long history of harassing users, especially on reddit and wikia. They have the most accounts on Tumblr, with five (two of them are inactive.) The second biggest is wikia, with four. The earliest accounts were on DeviantArt, which makes a lot of sense. Oh, but it gets better. They have uncensored nsfw content on two tumblrs. This is from one of their accounts. I am not going to show you the image, but I'm going to show you the tags:

I mean, I'm glad that they tagged it as "rule 34", but I'm more surprised about how tumblr didn't purge those posts or ban the user entirely. So, if you see someone with any of these accounts ask you to draw this rat, dump the ask and block em. yes i had asked yoyle to stop. i had even asked why they were doing this, and their only excuse was that it was a hyperfixation and never responded back

secondly, i was putting it in the tag for the rest of the geno artists to see. there have also been people contacted who don’t even know who geno is (a homestuck account and cherryfennec) and that’s really just a lack of boundaries.

i have done four separate posts about yoyle before bringing the situation to light, two vaguely and two direct. one of them was shock realizing the oc they had sent in my geno ask blog was actually a ship of their own. now, i have no problem with oc x canon, and that was a reaction of my own. that has nothing to do with the constant questions of repeated topics

i have talked with other tumblr users and people who browse the tag on discord, and they all felt the same way. the situation had gone dormant for too long, and i felt the need to address it publicly.

and now, about harassment; behavior that annoys or troubles someone

i haven’t insulted yoyle in anyway and have only discussed the fault that they’ve done, i have not been in their dms or any of the like. yoyle, however has been in multiple asks and accounts asking the same question. either with “geno sleeping, geno in pajamas, geno as a mermaid” to name the more prominent ones

im not trying to start anything either, again this has been a dormant issue and no one had spoken about it, it was about time someone did

I'll answer your questions, because I have done more research. (that other devianart account gave me way more information than I have ever needed. my poor eyes...)

Is it a fetish? The Goofy Nightmare stuff probably. Mostly because it involves transformation. They're also obsessed with body horror and gore, as well as some other stuff that tumblr would probably throw the ban hammer at. (Please don't make me explain that stuff. It's creepy as all hell.) The rat isn't the only character they're obsessed with. They're also obsessed with the Cat Thieves from Courage and Roxanne from "A Goofy Movie".

And is it a language barrier thing or they just don't care? It's both. English is not their first language, obviously. I'm guessing they might also be autistic, which, after looking through their deviantart accounts, seems to be the case.

omg i tried so hard to find ur blog like you've no idea. i was going through the mysme tags (don't even rmbr which) when i came across ur event page theories and then completely lost it. after, couldn't even find it among the tags (which was a pain in itself; tumblr tags are so messy rn) but now i finally found u whoohoo, ok umm anyway, my theory is that jumin's fit from the 6th anniversary is inspired by the phantom of the opera. thank you for listening to my ted talk :]

The tags can be really wonky sometimes, unfortunately. Though, I'm glad to hear that you were able to trace it down. Jumin's style here is very reminiscent of that, you're right. It's not the first time the game would've used the Phantom as inspiration for something. It'd be the second time since the first time, it was Ray who was drawn as the Phantom a few years ago.

Jumin does look dashing here. His mask, at least, is very well in line with the typical style for a Phantom mask. I can see him leaning that way. He's the kind of man who would dabble in that area if given the chance.

@gabrivllas same 😪💖 they’re so cute, they make me think of puppy love even though i think taylor would be a bit older than chris but there’s this innocence and shyness to their dynamic that’s so cute. i think what i mean is they both don’t want to hurt each other, considering the work they do or past relationships they’ve had and are maybe still healing from, but they cannot let each other go either; so, it’s all very soft, warm, and caring.

@mahirublue this is one of my favorite parts too!! i make bullet points before writing each chapter but a lot of the moments here weren’t planned at all but it is by far the most cohesive chapter. there’s just this even flow there that really sucks you in and i’m so proud of it :) and i also loved writing nicky in such an emotional state even though it lowkey hurt 🥺 @anonymous-eggy was right, mr. loverman fits perfectly 😭 maybe i should listen to that song while rereading that chapter??

I don’t want anyone to sleep on how cute this man is. I’ve never looked at a person and fallen so hard in my life (only Namjoon hahahaha). The title of this fic is taken from Metalcore band In This Moment and their song Roots (CN for flashy lights in the vid). That song played on repeat in my head while I’ve written the text and it’s kind of the underlying theme of the whole story. If gives my text quite a dark twist but then it IS quite dark to murder your best friend/lover for the sake of that damn village. And let’s be honest, it’s not much better than what the’ve left behind. Genin are still child soldier trained to kill. But that’s not the point here.

Roots as in my fic has a main plot that’s entirely focused on the foundation of Konoha, the problems they face and the developing relationship of Hashirama and Madara. Until the bitter end, it stays canon compliant (except for the fact that I refuse to acknowlege that some random dude killed Hashirama, that just didn’t happen). I tagged it with happy end anyway because if Obito can get absolution ... You get the point ^^ 

But the text also has some flashbacks into the past of Hashirama and Madara and especially for Hashirama the theme song I had in mind was The In-Between (again CN for flashy lights). For a while I considered this as title for my fic, but then decided against it, because Roots is more the focused theme here plus plant metaphors. We’re still talking about Hashirama, that dude has heavy wood elf vibes (Legolas would be proud, problably considering him a honorably Silvan Elf). The idea with that song was that Butsuma clearly abused his children physically and mentally (I hate him) and Hashirama’s mother was the counter point for this and tried to protect her children. She only played a short but all the more important role in their lives. I won’t talk much more about it here, it’s the focus point of one of the next chapters (one of my fave chapters if I may say so ^^).

So, the text is mainly finished, the story ends with the Valley of the End. At first I thought about continuing the story until everything is settled (Konoha kind of at peace with the other countries, Hashirama with his family and so on) but then decided against it. Roots is about Hashirama and Madara and their story ends there, although the last chapter hints towards the road Hashirama goes afterwards. I’m thinking about a second part that focuses on his relationship with Mito (she already plays a greater role in Roots after all) and I already have a theme song in mind: Geboren um zu leben by German band Unheilig (the link is a version with translated lyrics, the original video is this). It’s about loss but also healing and going on although the loss still hurts. I just can’t picture Hashirama as utterly broken after Madara’s “death”. For a while maybe, but not for the rest of his life. So when I get to a potential second part, it will be about that. Or as Unheilig sings: We were born to live.

So, yeah. Thanks for comming to my ted talk where I ramble about music and my writing and nobody cares about it but I do it anyway. And because the whole text has quite a few music references I’ve put together a playlist (Spotify link)^^

my ult groups are seventeen and bts (thanks for doing two groups, luna, otherwise I wouldn’t have thought to do that lol).

1. who was your first bias

svt: soonyoung, jihoon, and minghao were my initial top three (however, seungcheol and seokmin were the first two who caught my eye visually-only, but they *spoiler* didn’t make my bias list until later on).

bts: jungkook was my first bias ever. i thought it was so cool how young he was to have achieved all that they have.

2. who is your bias now?

svt: uhh, now i have six biases that constantly rotate for the #1 position. in the order in which they were added to this new list: minghao, chan, joshua, seungcheol, seungkwan, and seokmin. (currently, i think seok has the top spot, but you didn’t hear it from me.)

bts: jung hoseok. that is all; thank you for coming to my ted talk. but no, hobi is my one and only ultimate bias out of all of the groups i listen to.

3. what is the first mv you watched by them?

svt: i think it was my my? i know, very recent. yes, i haven’t actually been listening to seventeen for very long; i became a carat because of the heng:garae album in 2020. the choreography version of the left & right mv specifically made me want to learn more about the group.

bts: technically, it was the mv for dope back in 2015 through a friend in high school. although, it took me four years after that to actively decide to listen to them on my own. i would consider fake love to be the first mv i watched once i decided to learn more about the group, despite the era having already passed.

4. what’s your favourite mv?

svt: fallin’ flower. hands down, without a question.

bts: it might just be lights. i think my default answer would have been blood sweat & tears (solely because that’s the only song on my mind, apparently), but no, i’m a soft stan at heart, and lights fulfills that (and taehyung blue hair).

5. if you could listen to one of their songs for the rest of your life, which would it be?

svt: habit. hands down, without a question. (that is my all-time favourite seventeen song; i have many other favourites, but this one is undoubtedly at the top of my list.)

bts: unlike seventeen, i do not have just one favourite song that outranks the rest. i have too many favourite bts songs, so this question is challenging. i think it has to depend on my mood. blue & grey, for instance, fulfills my love for slow, ballad-esque songs, but the mood that louder than bombs and cypher 4 emanate... need i say more?

6. who would you want to see them collab with?

svt: i don’t think i have a strong answer for this question as collabs aren’t something i normally think about. i do really enjoy the product of pink sweat$’s collab with seokmin and joshua, so maybe something similar to that?

bts: i think the boys’ relationship with halsey is absolutely adorable and wholesome, so i wouldn’t mind seeing that again. oh! or becky g. again too! i just adore how she and hoseok are so so supportive of each other.

7. what mv concept do you want to see them do?

svt: luna, you answered something similar to blood sweat & tears, and i agree with you x1000. yes, that expensive, artistic, but broodingly dark and sensual concept. ha... yeah, i’d like to see that.

bts: ... am i allowed to answer a blood sweat & tears pt 2 here? okay, but i’m SO sad that i missed out on orange-haired hoseok... and just the whole wings era in general.

8. have you ever had a dream with any of the members in it?

svt: yes, and if i’m being specific, the whole idea to begin my IWYMH fic (aka, the first story i posted to tumblr) was inspired by a dream i had. to be fair, a lot of it was sourced as i was writing it, but specifically, the whole parking lot scene with the dog was from a dream i had. i know that there was a different time where joshua was helping me with understanding something in korean. i remember, i was trying to figure out an honorific for “잘자요,” but for some reason, shua responded with “bon ici”??? although none of the translations made sense, i don’t think i’ll ever understand how i managed to dream in english, korean, and french that night.

bts: i know i’ve had dreams with bts members as well since my dreams tend to be very vivid, but nothing in particular comes to mind (and i rambled enough for that above answer anyways).

9. if you could spend the day with one member, who would it be, and what would you do?

svt: since i am biased as hell, hands down one of my six biases... but which one? uhh, that’ll probably depend on my mood that day. right now (since he’s been bias wrecking me the most lately) i’d probably say seokmin because he just makes me ~happy~. there’s nothing in particular that i’d want to do, just hang out, maybe grab some lunch, something low-key like that.

bts: hoseok. yeah, hoseok, please and thanks. and the same thing as above, just something low-maintenance would be my preferred thing to do.

10. which member do you think you would get on best with?

svt: i think temperament-wise, i am the most similar to a combination of minghao and jihoon, with a sprinkle of joshua in the mix. so, only logically will i choose chan. no, there’s no logic there, i just think because we’re the same age, he may enjoy being (technically, because of birth months) older than someone for once. (and i think our mbti types are, like, super, super compatible?)

bts: likewise, i think i have the most similar temperament as yoongi, so my answer is hoseok. no, i don’t accept constructive criticism here. thanks.

11. which member do you think you would argue with?

svt: i try to avoid conflict as best as possible, so technically none. however, i am the kind of person to playfully tease those who i feel comfortable around, so maybe seungkwan or jeonghan since they seem to be the same way.

bts: with the same reasoning as above, i think i’d bicker the most with seokjin or jimin. only playfully, of course, not for actual arguments.

12. if you had to choose one member to scroll through your tumblr, who would it be?

svt: oh dear, if i had to have one of them do this, maybe vernon, i guess? just because i take him as someone who wouldn’t have a strong opinion on it. the “to each their own” mindset is something that i think vernon has.

bts: this one pains me even more to think about. perhaps namjoon or taehyung for a similar reason as above?

Hei! Your blog is fun and you seem pretty cool, so I was wondering whether you'd have any advice for a gym newbie? Just finished weeks of physical therapy & got the advice to start working out more so my back doesn't get bad again (esp when uni starts again & i'll be back to sitting around for like 8h/day). I don't know much about gym atmosphere (i just know *those* people, who go to the gym) but being a short chubby (mostly? passing) trans guy doesn't exactly make me v/ confident. All the best!

Finally getting to this. Again sorry for lateness, was sick all last week. Anyway, fun? pretty cool? Debatable but I’ll accept it. Thanks. Ooh, newbie advice. I’ll try to reblog all the for beginners stuff i have on blog after i post this. 

Hooray for completing PT. I had to go through a couple months of it after a long hospital stay when i was younger. Hope back stays all good. May reblog posture posts too.

So, similarly I knew nothing about gym atmosphere when I started, like 3 or so years back. Most fitness I ever did was the occasional run every month or so. For the most part, i relied on being naturally slim and young metabolism to offset all the junk food i ate.

I’ll offer as much advice as I can but don’t take my word as gospel. Ultimately, find what works best for you and what you enjoy. Its the best way to ensure you stick to it.

ADVICE-ish: 

So one, a gym is not required. Fitness can be done near anywhere and easily without equipment as long you have a comfortable space around you. 

however, if you do go to a gym or similar place(I go to the YMCA) feel free to call them up and request a tour. Staff should gladly show you what is available at their facilities and in the case of the Y will give you a 7 day free trial pass. Not sure if other places offer it, but never hurts to ask.

Also ask if they happen to know the gym off-peak hours, these are the times when it tends to be less crowded and i’ve found the times i find the most variety of people working out. Ages, body shapes, and workout intensities of all types. Off-peak hours can also allow you enough time to be able to try out many machines /get used to the space without the pressure of worrying your getting in people’s way. 

Even if you do come across “those” kinds of gym people they rarely are paying attention to anyone. Some body builders workout near me when im there and they are way more invested in their workout than what i or the elderly or less experienced members are doing. 

Sometimes, you may catch them staring or they’ll unsolicited advice. Feel free to ignore it and instead ask the staff for insight. That is literally their job, along with assisting or spotting whenever it is needed. Whether you intend to lift weights or not, DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK THE STAFF FOR HELP.

Going to use Terry Crews words since he put it so well: “It has to feel good. I tell people this a lot - go to the gym, and just sit there, and read a magazine, and then go home. And do this every day. Go to the gym, don’t even work out. Just GO. Because the habit of going to the gym is more important than the work out. Because it doesn’t matter what you do. You can have fun — but as long as you’re having fun, you continue to do it.“  

Another thing to etch into your mind is comparison is a killer. One of my yoga teachers had a mantra she always recited before starting class. “No competition, no comparison. Our practice takes place on our own individual mats.”

Although she spoke about yoga, it applies to whatever exercise you partake in. Just because person next to you can run longer, it does not diminish what effort you put in. To use my own example, because of how my body is naturally slim my arms, no matter how hard i train them will never look like some of the other gym people. Their body is not mine, mine is not theirs. Where we started from was not the same, our goals may not be the same, but we each put in effort and that is what matters most. 

Sidenote, despite some members having more showy muscles than me, it is not uncommon for me to be able to outlift them either in terms of weight or endurance. but again people get built different.

Whatever type of exercise you do land on make sure its ones you enjoy. Like i hate burpees. They have many benefits, are great exercise, and i hate them. When i did put them into my routine, i had to drag myself to do each one, like most people. but i wasn’t enjoying it overall. Hence they were banished to the land of wind and ghost for me. To be replaced with something i liked doing and was a good exercise. 

Hell, I didn’t start lifting until like a good year into joining a gym. At first i just stood in the corner of the gym and did bodyweight exercises while listening to TED Talks. Figured those exercises are simple enough, require no equipment typically, and bonus i got them from Darebee. 

You may have seen me post them around here, if not just search my blog or tumblr for the tag and you’ll see them. They are super cool, free as hell, nerdy as fuck. The website also includes some long term programs, up to 90 days and even nutrition advice all still free. Plus their apps have no ads and again FREE. the whole thing is just donation based and i have to plug them whenever i get the chance. Were it not for their Hero’s Journey program i wouldn’t have gotten in the habit of regular exercise, i missed about 6 days in total but meh. I’m sure whatever media you are fan of they’ll have some exercise routine to go along with it.

Don’t be afraid to experiment or change up routine until you find something you love and fits in with your schedule and goals. Although there is great value in having a set routine that you can easily follow, don’t be beholden to it strictly. Whether that means not doing something when a part of your body isn’t feeling it, reorganizing whole routine(something i do on occasion), or adjusting an exercise to better fit you.

To use burpees example again, they typically call for jumping up high during the exercise. However, i’ve seen plenty modify it so to be easier on their knees and instead reach up high without jumping so as to be better on their knees. 

For sure listen to your body, know that you should never feel pain when exercising(if you do, stop and reassess what you’re doing or skip exercise if needed). Form is way more important than you think, feel free to look up tutorials about any exercise on youtube to correct your form but keep in mind their body is not yours so adjust if you must. 

Look honestly I could go on for a while about possible advice, so feel free to message or send ask again with any specific and i’ll do my best to answer. Just know that I’m not a professional and just giving whatever advice i can.

Star Wars Shippers: Why You Are Wrong About Cross-Tagging

WARNING: If the title already upsets you, then leave now because I don’t support your position. Why should I? No, I don’t support your complete absence of self-control when faced with an opposing view point. That’s ignorant and I don’t tolerate ignorance. No one should tolerate ignorance. So if you want to remain ignorant, leave. 

This here is for grown folks. It’s for the people who can break free from that ignorance and not resort to immediate rage. It’s for the people that can talk and engage in civil, meaningful discussion. On the off chance you don’t agree with my opinion but are still reading anyway, I warned you. With that, I’d like to thank those kind enough to read and a special thanks to those kind enough to participate.

We want to communicate. That’s what Tumblr is for isn’t it? Whether it’s to express ourselves in our creative mind or spread an idea; we want to share our point of view with as many people as we can. So someone came up with a brilliant idea to make that happen - hashtags. If you don’t know what a hashtag is, here’s the operative definition according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary.

Hashtag (noun):  a word or phrase preceded by the symbol # that classifies or categorizes the accompanying text (such as a tweet)

Okay, are we clear on the definition here? Good. Where the fuck do you see the words internet community or safe space? Maybe I’m missing them or something because I don’t see them. Just to make it abundantly clear, this is how I understand it.

“A word or phrase preceded by the symbol #...” - your subject or whatever you want to speak about

“...that classifies the accompanying text” - your message about your subject. 

So the word or phrase used in the hashtag is specific but the message that goes along with it can be anything. Here are some examples.

#Finnrey is the best ship ever!

#Finnpoe is canon. Sorry I don’t make the rules.

I don’t understand why people like #finnrey. The ship is way too vanilla and p much lacks any real emotional investment for me.

Why do people ship #reylo when Kylo has only exacted abuse & harm on Rey and her friends?

So in theory, all of these should work, right? None of them are verbal abuses and they’re all just opinions? Nope. Actually, only 3 of these of opinions would be seen as acceptable. The last 2 statements shouldn’t happen because god-fucking-forbid your hashtag is infested with one (1) opposing viewpoint every now and then. You’ll rise from your hiatus wielding your fiery blade of Tumblr text and deliver swift justice to anyone who dare disagree with you. Oh no, this is a cardinal sin and it cannot go unpunished - the sin of cross-tagging.

Y’all act like hashtags are exclusively internet communities or safe spaces for your likes and interests but that’s just not fucking true - like 0% of that shit is true. You should be able to look at an opposing view point and engage with it. A hashtag doesn’t belong to you or a group of people, it belongs to everyone. If I have something to say about your hashtag then I just have something to say. Deal with that shit! I know you’re not too much of a child to listen to something you don’t agree with. How can you be fair or properly win an argument if you’re not willing to see all points of view? This goes for reylos, antis, and Star Wars shippers alike. 

And I’m not naive. About 90% of the cross-tags are insults and trolling posts (a post on that is coming by the way). I’d be the first to let loose on those asswipes too but I’m not talking about those posts. I’m talking about the posts that actually aim to encourage a discussion between sides. Put on your adult shoes and realize they aren’t making an effort to harm you. Those people only want to talk with you. I mean we’re all Star Wars fans trying to sell #you are vision of what Star Wars should be like. We should all take comfort in that and enjoy this wonderful world together as both fans and friends. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

WRITERS OF TUMBLR HEAR ME OUT!

Okay! So I got this random idea for a story that spreads through out each blog. Like one person starts it by writing part one and then they can either tag someone else to write the next part and then tag another writer to keep the chain going.

You can also maybe get in a small group and plan it out there and then decide which person gets what part. Like one person gets part 1 then another gets part 2 then so on until you get the last person who writes the end.

Rules that might go along.

The ending of a certain part has to have an easy place to pick up on for the next one.

The story can be different people if its an X Reader but it has to cut the last characters story line to create a new one.

You must link the other parts to the previous ones. If its a long story then just do the previous chapter or a little recap or something.

You gotta ask the next writer before you hand it over to them because they need to have a say in the matter to.

Have fun! Let you and your friends have fun and maybe bond or something over the story you guys write together.

Alright! Enough of my spiel. If you guys want to do this than go a head. Maybe link this post on a part of the story to share with other people this weird collabrative idea. Idk if I should do my tag list on this but heck. Anyway!
