Fuck it if this doesn't get notes eye dee kay (idk) and eye dee sea (idc) anyways I LOVE PUPPETS!!!
Don't you love puppets? "Well I love humans." Then why not both? Why not mix them up? Puppets!!!
You can read more thoughts of the puppets down below. I think about them a normal amount.
The guy and the puppet on his shoulder in the 2nd drawing are indeed Human!Professor and Puppet!Ryan. I need to draw them at some point.
The Flower Boat (连奕辰 or Lián Yìchén, Yìchén being his name, he/him) seriously has one of the most underrated songs ever. The emotions are off the charts??? THE LYRICS ARE PURE POETRY??? LizLuvsCupcakes on YouTube said, "This boat is the only ex I respect. His whole breakup song is "I miss her so much but I hope she's happy where she is."" and THEY ARE SO RIGHT!!!
He's typically closed off emotionally, trying to maintain a happy but subdued mood, but he will absolutely be starry-eyed when he talks about Ching Shih (fun fact: she's also known as Zheng Yi Sao). He can also help y'all get through a break up or really any romantic troubles if you sit down with him for a drink.
The Beast of Gévaudan (Gevariel, sometimes referred to as Gévau, he/him) and Policarpa's Spool (Poli for short, she/her) are besties!!! They're both trans and despise romance. They'd rather spend Valentine's Day studying a corpse.
Poli is such a cool gal. She rallies against injustices whenever she can, and she hates how the police system has been used to enforce the marginalization of minorities. When she investigates with a given suspect, her priority isn't to find enough evidence to condemn them but rather look for all evidences possible, even ones that may contradict the suspect being the murderer 'cause she firmly believes in "innocent until proven guilty". Basically, ACAB, baby!
The Mummified Goose (Merneith Gomaa, referred to as MG or Mery for short, she/her) is a hell of a hypewoman! If you're trash-talking yourself, she will shut that shtick down QUICK. She's so unapologetically confident and self-assured that it infects the others around her ehe. She also collects antiques as a hobby to the point her house is kind of a mess, but she takes care of them very well!
"Wait if Poli hates romance, then what's up with–" Queerplatonic partners, my friend!!! Poli and Mery share a deep emotional connection together, and Mery, despite knowing her romantic feelings won't be reciprocated, still loves Poli very much. She adores how determined Poli is in getting the truth, and similarly, Poli loves how much Mery brightens up the room :]
Intermission: Sapphics who are into Puppet History, can you show yourselves plsplsplsplspls I just need assurance that I'm not the only sapphic in this fandom 🥹👉🏽👈🏽
I don't think Gévau would pursue any kind of relationship whatsoever (even friendships are rare for him, he's a loveless aro babyyyyy), but he can get behind cannibalism as a metaphor for love 👉🏽👀👉🏽 (and giving heads as gifts. 'cause what better gift can you give really <3)
The Oar still has no shame and shows his erotic manga to anyone who asks. The Professor has had to scrub his brain so many times (to absolute failure </3)
I'm still stuck on Ken (剣) and Oru (オール) being the Sword and Oar's names ngl. If y'all have actual names for them, I'd love to hear them 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

So the police officer lady is gonna die right? Acab fr so Idc. Anyways why is Gaon so mad Yohan wants to take down corrupt rich ppl? Like I hate protags who ignore how fucked the system is and have this naive sense of self righteous justice. Like all this weird "the law and justice works we have to do it right" but the ppl who make the laws and deal out justice are corrupt and making it hard to hold them accountable so actually they don't work. Like we need class traitors from the rulling class they're important. He kinda annoys me but I also don't like yohan either. Complex set of emotions about both main leads which is intentional but Korea has a skewed very evangelical sense of justice so I'll always criticize crime thrillers on how they portray it. but I'm still a little confused as to why he still lives with Yohan while all this goes on 💀

I don't know who needs to hear this but The Bad Guys is only better than Zootopia to a certain extent. Like I'm sorry it's a good movie and I enjoyed it, but why are you promoting it like it's ACAB. It's not ACAB, the police never do anything unjust except for arrest the criminals who they MISTAKE for having done a crime they didn't. It also has the major problem of uhhh idk implying that criminals have the stability required to reform themselves at any time?? That's not how crime (ESPECIALLY THIEVERY) works???
When I first saw Diane, I thought the movie was going to say something about tokenism, but instead it just IS tokenism? "No look, I (a scary predator) was reformed and became good, so why can't everyone?" It's honestly ummm fucked up??? I really thought they were gonna say something about how it's easy to become the most charitable person on the planet when you have the MEANS to be charitable, but no. Nothing at all challenges the system, you just watch five lucky individuals be EXCEPTIONS to the system. (Note, there was nothing to imply they became role models for others either. Or that they changed perceptions of predators in any way that matters, so there will continue to be generations ahead of them still getting treated just as shit as they were leading them to become criminals..)
Anyways, I haven't finished reading Beastars myself, but go read Beastars. Beastars is REALLY good. In fact you can watch it. Go watch Beastars. Do it fucking now.

Joe flr character bingo? 👀
Tumblr media
sorry anon i was outside in the garden planting raspberry bushes. anyway this is SUCH a good one and I am kinda mad there are so few squares I can tick off for Joe bc i genuinely love him but not like That
Joe is such a comfort character for me in a very diff way. he makes my daddy issues go brrrrr cos THIS is a dad. THE dad of all time. if i could pick any dad ever to have instead of mine i think i'd pick him.
I think he's so fucking funny first of all. it's my fave thing to put him in a fic and just. mess with him. im poking him with a stick. im watching his blood pressure go up. i'm making him deal with leonard snart and he's about to explode every time they're in a room together. i just. have so many affectionate feelings for him and his seething hatred of this man. and the earth 2 version where he's exactly like that but to BARRY? iconic. no notes. rip earth 2 joe you were a bitch and i miss you sm
THAT BEING SAID there are things about him that make me go "you should have faced more consequences for that. go sit in a corner and think about what you've done." namely bullying iris out of being a cop (acab etc. etc. but still shitty of him), the whole thing where he was like BARRY, WHY DIDN'T YOU ASK MY PERMISSION TO MARRY IRIS (and iris AGREED 🤮🤮🤮 who the fuck was in charge of the writers' room that day, i just wanna talk), the fact that he can be overbearing and controlling of his kids and very jaded in a lot of ways... idk he's a flawed character and every character needs some negative aspects so none of these things affect my love for him but sometimes i am shaking my head in disapproval...
as for canon. this is true of everything but MAN did they drop the ball with him towards the end... i get why they had joe quit ccpd given the political situation at the time and i support that 100% but first of all, having a Black character go "hey the police force in my city is inherently corrupt and i can no longer be complicit in its enforcement" (true and correct) while their white hero just does not acknowledge that corruption and continues to work for the same establishment completely uncritically was... perhaps not sending the message they intended... i mean it's honestly almost funny cos that is very much a reflection of the actual systems but. maybe they could have thought about that one a bit more...
and they really should have given joe something else to do cos he ended up sorta directionless after that. in fairness i know jesse l martin has back problems so i think them having him sitting down chilling at home as a stay at home dad was perhaps borne of necessity in a lot of ways but they defo could have done more interesting things with the character. im not OPPOSED to sahd joe but it does seem like a bit of a waste cos it would just be like. every episode joe shows up for a pep talk then goes back to being the full-time stay at home parent for a child we literally never see except one time when a window explodes in her face, which brings me to my NEXT point---
writing joe out with LITERALLY like 8 eps to go? stupid. again i respect that jesse l martin had HAD it with this show (tbf who hadnt by this point) and he wanted out, of course he had every right to do that, but purely based on the context of the show, i hate that they had him leave central city like that and move so far away when we were so close to the finish line. HAAATE it. the show was basically on life support from that point on. it was possibly worse than when we lost cisco. joe was the heart of it, man. it just wasn't the same :(
but yes I LOVE JOE, he is the only fictional dad i respect and i love ruining his life

the world is so fucked up. i was discussing in therapy how i have to perform a specific way socially to just exist without being bullied or called crazy.
i have a stalker, and so the police are involved and have to talk to me sometimes, and each time i have to make myself as ‘cis’ as possible, i have to hide my sh scars, use wrong pronouns for myself and just make myself palatable.
and it’s frustrating! bc i preach and believe in complete authenticity. it took me YEARS to get to a place where i can explore the cross section of femininity and masculinity. to find a place that i belong in.
and i have to push that down and become someone im not so that the shitty system can attempt to treat me with respect.
and im one of the lucky ones! i can choose to assimilate as much as i can (which is not very much, as ive been on hrt and im visibly trans no matter how i present). but if i interact with an airhead its easy enough to slide through without too much x-phobia.
poc dont get that chance, and my heart breaks for them. i know acab, but sometimes when youre a victim of a crime you have no choice but to engage with law enforcement. i hate the police and i hate the system. but until its smashed to the ground its what we’ve got. (especially the case when someone ELSE informs the police of whats been happening, instead of letting the victim deal with it in the way they want to).
anyway, what im trying to say is that the whole system needs to be abolished, communities should be protecting the people, and blindly trusting the police will end up with not only you being a victim, but risking being retraumatized.

i hate blue lives matter fucks who mock you like "wahhh wahhh ur mad you got arrested for committing a crime wahhh"
LIKE NO, WE'RE MAD BECAUSE THERE ARE INNOCENT PEOPLE WHO ARE BEING ARRESTED, INNOCENT PEOPLE WHO HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG, BEING ARRESTED BECAUSE THEY "looked suspicious", WHEN IN REALITY THEY ARE JUST A COLOURED PERSON IN A HOODIE. LIKE WHAT THE FUCK!
Like sure, whatever, maybe you believe someone should be locked up for a life sentence over selling weed, but you HAVE to agree that people shouldn't be shot OR killed if they aren't posing a threat and are innocent, like seriously.
These people talk about how without cops our world will descend into chaos, and innocent lives will be hurt and bad guys will walk free, BUT THAT IS LITERALLY WHAT HAPPENS WHEN COPS ARE ALLOWED TO DO WHATEVER THE FUCK THEY WANT! tHIS IS THE REALITY WE LIVE IN DUMBASS, THE REALITY COPS ARE CONTINUING TO PERPETUATE! COPS LITERALLY MAKE THE WORLD WORSE
and sure, maybe you know a cop who is a nice person, one of my favourite uncles is a cop (kinda, idk how it works), but that doesn't stop the fact that the system is broken, and these supposedly good people are not only serving a bad system, BUT ACTIVELY DEFENDING IT INSTEAD OF CRITICISING IT. MAYBE I'D BE ABLE TO GET BEHIND COPS IF THEY CALLED OUT AND SHAMED THE COPS WHO ABUSED THEIR POWER, BUT THEY STAY SILENT OR EVEN STAND UP FOR THEM. They might be a good person, but they would still make a bad cop, because the role of a cop is a very flawed one.
Many cops are also racist and/or religious extremists, there are cases of police officers taking selfies with conservative neo-nazis. Some might say "you shouldn't exclude people from being police officers for their beliefs, that's discrimination", but like??? You wouldn't want your child's teacher to be a pedophile or a groomer or a "minor attracted person" (aka a fancy way of saying child predator), this is the same thing! People don't want protectors who genuinely believe that they are scum for the colour of their skin or the way that they speak, because those protectors aren't gonna do their job properly! Because they are biased!
so yeah anyways, fuck police, acab. "blue lives" are already heavily protected under they law, they certainly do not need anymore support. at this point, you're just inflating their ego

The more I think about it, the more the Dan plotline is an incredible one, but one that needs so much more fucking time than it's actually been given
Dan is an incredible, fascinating character. He's someone who fucked up, did something awful without meaning to and regretted it immensely. He is someone who, from the start, wanted to do good. Who believed that he could create change in a fucked up system but fell prey to it anyways. He's a good person who did something terrible and has been eaten up by it, who desperately wanted to atone and receive ANY type of consequences but never did. He turns to art to channel his guilt and his anger at a system he hopes can still change, that he can still change it.
You can tell that he is actively a good person, and that he hates the corruption and power that plagues not just the police force but society as a whole.
Like, yes, acab, but we also have to acknowledge that there are people who DO want to change the system and they either get corrupted by the system or they leave it because they can't stand what the system makes them do. And that's what Dan is meant to represent. Someone who became a cop because he genuinely believed he could do good.
And then he meets Yok (whilst breaking into Tawi's house and doing political graffiti in it) and they get to know each other and Dan sees people actively DOING something, actively making a difference.
He and Yok fall in love, hard and fast. He shows the darkest parts of himself and his NEED to do good. Not just because he needs to atone but because he always wanted to do good in the first place, and he's realizing that the way he's gone about it this whole time wasn't doing any good at all.
And he goes and tries his best to help Yok and the gang but he finds out that the corruption is so much deeper. They know he's UNAR. They know where his parents live. He's realizing that no matter what he does, someone he loves is going to get hurt. Because again, good cops don't exist because they either get absorbed by the corruption, they leave, or well. They die.
I don't think Dan is going to die, but I think he's learning that he can no longer hold onto his dream of helping people if he's still a cop.
And I think this is an important story to tell.
But God do I wish there was more time for it.

i'm not sure if i have anyy suggestions that you'll want to write, but i'll send them in as they come to mind
so excited for your writing ^^ no pressure though, best of luck with your studies!!
y/n is studying (something difficult, maybe pre-med or med school?) and is feeling a little drained and self-doubtful. she gets up from her space to take a second and is reminded of a time she spent with <whichever haikyuu boy you'd like to write about>. they hadn't gotten to spend much time together as a result of their busy schedule, so the memory of this weekend is especially special to her. start flashback of fluff they had met for dinner, spent time together, cuddled and slept (not 18+) together. they both woke up early but opted to stay in bed together, content in eachother's company, making small talk, laughing softly, fluffy stuff. y/n had brought up her struggles to <haikyuu boy of choice> and he'd been there for her to confide in. she knows its her dream, but casually wonders if she isnt cut out for it. he actively listens, offering comforting touches, until she's finished and then helps her talk it out until she's back up in confidence. more fluffy morning end lashback of fluff y/n feels better having remembered <hq boy>'s pep talk and resumes her efforts.
yeesh, idk how long/short/detailed/vague suggestions are supposed to be, so sorry! 😅 i'll try to be more vague, if you'd like, in the future
hi!! omg u r SO cute i’m in love. anyways, i love your suggestion! it’s amazing. and don’t worry, the more detail the better!
for this request, i’ve chosen Daichi. because i’m a daichi whore i believe in daichi supremacy
Warnings: none :) fluff, daichi x f!reader
alright, anyways, enjoy!
Tumblr media
You stared at the piles of paper on your bed. You couldn’t even begin to recall what the different colours of the paper meant. You were just glad you had written it down on your phone.
“This is ridiculous,” you whispered to yourself.
Your back was aching, your muscles were sore, and your eyes burned from the constant strain. You had a final coming up and it was killing you in more ways then one.
“Is this even worth it? I mean, really, what are the chances of me getting into med school?”
You groaned and fell back on your pillow. You dragged your hands down your face. You had been spiraling down a tunnel of self-doubt and it was affecting you. You had begun talking to yourself even more than usual, especially since you cut contact from everyone for a couple of days.
Your phone chimed beside you and you turned your head to face it. You had promised yourself to turn it off, except you forgot.
Well, you didn’t forget, you just didn’t want too.
You picked it up and your eyes fell on the message that your boyfriend left you.
From: acab but not him🙄❣️
‘good evening, beautiful. make sure to eat something, yeah? and get some fresh air. you’ve got this babe, i believe in you❣️’
You smiled at the message. Unknowingly, a few small tears formed at the corners of your eyes. Daichi had a week long training camp that coincidentally aligned with your final. Now, Daichi was in Tokyo and you were cooped up in your room.
Daichi had made it his job to send you texts almost every hour to remind you he loved you and to eat. You didn’t think you could love him even more.
Due to his own busy schedule, Daichi and you hadn’t been able to spend too much time together before he left. But you knew that as soon as you had taken the final, you were going to spent three days in his arms.
You sent a quick text back, telling him you loved him and that you were going to get something to eat now.
You slowly slid out of bed, making your bed and your bones make noise out of agony. Your knees cracked and you looked down. “Just break,” you prayed.
When nothing happened, you huffed out an annoyed breath and made your way to your kitchen. You and Daichi had moved into an apartment two years ago, and you loved every part of it. Your home was your baby.
As you walked, your eyes fell upon the black leather jacket that laid jumbled up on the couch. Your thoughts immediately flashed to the weekend, the last time you had seen Daichi.
It was Friday night, which meant date night for you and the police officer, and it was perfect.
You parked your car outside of the Miyagi Police Station, waiting for Daichi.
You stood outside, enjoying the light breeze. Daichi had texted you to give him a couple minutes. Today was Friday, which meant date night for you and your lover.
You heard some ruckus and lifted your head, meeting Daichi’s warm gaze. He had a large grin etched onto his face and you felt your own lips pull into a smile.
Daichi walked up to you and pressed a quick kiss to your forehead. “Hello, darling.”
You brushed away the few dark locks that fell on his forehead. “Hello, officer.”
Daichi’s eyes slightly narrows at the use of the word. He absolutely loved and hated when you called him officer. It did things to him.
“Come, let’s go. I’m starving.”
You nodded and pulled away from him, walking to the drivers seat. Daichi always insisted you drive when you picked him up because he wanted to ‘get his full of you’ because he was at work. You never truly understood it, but you liked his heated stare on you so you never said anything.
You and Daichi ended up going to your favourite restaurant. You went here a lot, and were now on first name basis with the manager and half of the employees.
You and Daichi both ordered your regulars and ate peacefully, with some small talk here and there. A hungry Daichi usually resulted in a quiet Daichi.
After dinner, you drove to the park by your house to get some fresh air and to work off some of the food you just ate.
Late night walks with Daichi were your favourite little activities you did with him. Daichi loved late night walks with you too. He loved watching the moon glow on your skin as you stared adoringly at the stars.
Daichi held your hand in his, gently swinging them. He wore black jeans and his favourite grey shirt, with his black worn out leather jacket you had gotten him a couple of years ago.
You kept your eyes on him. His skin glistened in the moonlight and you found him as beautiful as the stars that twinkled above him, if not more.
“What’re you thinkin’ bout, love?”
You turned your head, finding it completely unfair that someone so beautiful stood next to you.
“You,” you mumbled truthfully.
“Is that so?” Daichi’s voice came out teasingly.
You let go of his hand and skipped forward until you stood a couple of feet away from him. You pointed at him and he stopped, hands in his pockets and a smile on his face.
“You, Sawa, are the love of my life.”
Daichi’s eyes widened slightly and a flush of pink now rested on his face. Daichi cleared his throat but couldn’t help the grin that had replaced his smile.
“And you’re mine.”
You grinned at him and then continued to walk until you reached the hill that overlooked your neighborhood. You crouched down, and then sat down, pulling your knees to your chest.
Daichi soon followed, except he sat behind you, and spread his legs so you were sitting between them. He pulled you close to your chest, until your back rested completely against his chest.
You tilted your head back, resting it on Daichi’s shoulder. One of Daichi’s large, warm, hands laid on your stomach, rubbing softly. The other was playing with your hair.
This is it, you thought. I’ll never love anyone the way I love him.
You looked up at the stars. You had always had a fascination with the balls of of heat and energy. When you were a child, your dream was to become a star. You’re not quite sure when that dream led you on the path of medicine, but it did.
Daichi stared at you. It didn’t matter that you two had been together for almost six years, Daichi could never get over how beautiful you were.
The way your hair glistened in the moonlight, the way your eyes twinkled, as if you held the stars in them yourselves. Daichi stared at you the way you stared at the stars.
With complete and utter adoration.
Daichi’s eyes landed on your hands. He watched as they slight shook, and how your tried to make them stop.
He frowned. Your hands only shook when your were stressed.
As swiftly as he could, Daichi grabbed your shaking hands and held them together, complete engulfing them in his own.
“You’re shaking, love. What’s the matter?”
You froze. Caught.
Even though you should have been calm, happy even, since you sat under the stars with your lover, the final that loomed over your shoulder had your nervous system in shambles.
Daichi’s thumbs rubbed the backs of your hands as he waited for your response.
“I’m just nervous,” you mumbled. You hated speaking about up-coming tests or finals. You always had really bad anxiety when it came to any form of testing, and Daichi knew that.
He knew everything about you.
“What about?”
You sighed and extended your legs. Daichi had a way with words. Even when he didn’t speak much, his presence and silence alone spoke tenfold.
“Nothing, really,” you let out an awkward laugh. “You know I’m always a little bit nervous.”
Daichi wanted to press on the matter. He wanted you to speak to him, he wanted to be able to share your stress. But he also knew that you would talk to him when you were ready.
Daichi pressed a soft kiss on your neck. “Talk to me when you’re ready, love.”
You nodded. “I will.”
Daichi kissed the small space behind your earlobe. “Let’s go home, yeah?” You nodded, agreeing. Daichi stood up and then put out his hand for you. You grabbed it, and let him pull you up with ease.
You two began the journey home, reaching in a couple of minutes.
You and Daichi changed into your nightwear. You were wearing one of Daichi’s shirts, and he was just wearing grey sweatpants.
You couldn’t keep your eyes off his body, but managed to look away before he caught you.
Daichi slipped under the covers, and then lifted them. He patted his chest. “Come lay on me.”
You immediately obliged, jumping onto his chest, causing Daichi to let out a small grunt.
You let all your wait drop on Daichi’s body. Your head was in the crook of his neck, and your chest lay flat against his. You could feel his heartbeat against yours and it took you a moment to realize that both your hearts beat at the same time.
As one.
Daichi slid his left hand under your—his—shirt, rubbing your back. It was these moments he wanted to truly cherished. He knew you were stressed about the final that was coming up. He had put the date in his phone when you mentioned it.
Daichi realized that today had been the quietest days you two had had. But he didn’t mind. He loved everyday with you. The quiet, the loud, the hectic, and the crazy.
Daichi began to hum. He could feel the knots in your back, and he knew you should have a nice relaxing weekend before you began to study.
Before he knew it, Daichi heard your soft snores fill the air.
A wide smile broke out on his face. Daichi absolutely adored your sleeping face. All your worry lines disappeared and you looked the most at peace when you slept in his arms.
Daichi slightly pushed himself up. He wanted to be able to see your properly. His brown eyes softened at the sight of your hand against chest. You often called him a creep for staring at your sleeping face, but he always just shrugged it off.
After some time, Daichi found himself driting off to sleep, but not before he tightened his hold on you and kissed your forehead. “Sleep well, my love.”
Hours later, your eyes fluttered open, but you immediately cringed and shut them again.
The sun was facing directly at you. You had forgotten to close your blinds.
You tried to adjust your posture, but immediately stopped when you heard a low rumble from Daichi. No, you felt it, and you froze at the vibrations.
“Don’t move, love.”
Daichi’s voice was low and husky, and slightly dry. You lifted your head and found yourself still laying on his chest. Daichi’s arms were securely wrapped around you, his eyes were shut.
The sound of his morning voice hit you right in the stomach and you couldn’t help but brush your fingers against his cheekbones.
Daichi’s eyes shot open. His dark brown eyes met yours, and for a moment, everything stopped.
You looked so beautiful, Daichi thought.
“Good morning,” you whispered.
Daichi smiled at you and let his head drop back on the pillow. “It is a very good morning, indeed.”
You used your hands and slightly pushed yourself up, so you were now straddling Daichi’s waist. His eyes opened and landed on your nervous smile.
“What’s wrong?”
Daichi grabbed your hips and pushed himself up, so his back was against the headboard.
You now sat on his thighs, and his hold on you tightened a little bit.
You stared at the man in front of you. Even after having you sleep on him for hours, he still looked perfect. It pissed you off, especially since you knew you probably had some drool on your chin.
Daichi leaned forward and pressed a small kiss to your forehead. “Talk to me.”
You nodded and began to play with your fingers.
You couldn’t help but think of the final you had to take in a couple of days. It didn’t make sense, you thought. You had taken finals and tests before, but for some reason, the one you had in five days had disrupted your sleep and taken over your life.
“I’m so nervous for the final, Sawa. I feel like there’s a knot in my stomach and it keeps tightening. I can’t breathe.”
Daichi began to rub the skin above your hip with his fingers. He listened attentively. He was gonna let you talk first, getting everything off your chest.
“I know I always complain and then end up doing well, but what if this is the one I flunk? What if this is the one I end up failing? It’s so nerve wracking. I don’t even know if I wanna do this anymore.”
Daichi’s hands slipped under your shirt and he slowly began to massage your back and shoulder muscles. He wanted to offer you physical comfort.
He knew you were often a mess of nerves and anxiety a week before any test, and no matter how many times he assured you that you would do fine, you always ended up getting caught up in your head.
“I know it’s my dream. But at this point, dropping out sounds ideal. There’s enough doctors in the world, right? Maybe I should do something less nerve wracking.”
You sighed and closed your eyes. It felt nice to finally get your thoughts off your chest.
Daichi’s hands squeezed your hips in response. He hated hearing you talking yourself down. It made him feel so helpless, because for him, you were his everything. He had the upmost respect and belief in you.
“Y/n, love, from everyone in your life, you are the only one who doesn’t fully believe you can do this. I know medicine is a very hard and competitive occupation, but you know I believe in you. If anyone can power through this, it’s you.”
Tears had pooled in your eyes. Daichi had always been so good with words. You knew that Daichi had always been mature for his age, meaning his patience and abilityto comfort you was far better than anyone else’s.
His compassion and understanding was his greatest qualities. His calming aura always managed to break through all your walls. It was what made him such a good captain.
“What if I fail?”
You had mumbled your question, hoping he wouldn’t have caught it.
But he did.
Daichi leaned in and kissed your nose “You won’t. And if you do, then you fail. You shouldn’t be scared to fail, y/n. You should be scared to give up. If you fail, you can always take it again.”
You sighed and lightly nodded. Although you appreciated his words, you knew they would only comfort you for a day or two.
“Thank you, Sawa.”
You tried getting up from his lap, but Daichi had other plans. He grabbed your hips tightly and leaned in, kissing your lips.
You didn’t hesitate, you just began to kiss him back eagerly.
Daichi’s right hand slid up your back, pushing you into him.
Your lips moved together in sync, and you brought your hands to his hair, clutching the soft ends tightly.
Daichi slightly pulled away, only to gently kiss your lips again.
Before you could deepen it, he pulled away again.
“It’s not easy, y/n. But accomplishing your dream never is. You’re gonna do great, just like you always do. I believe in you, and it’s time you do as well.”
His words wrapped around your anxious thoughts and completely anguished them.
You nodded, your nose brushing his.
You closed your eyes and let your head drop on his shoulder. Daichi wrapped his arms around you again, pulling you flush against his chest.
You stayed in that position for hours.
You in Daichi’s lap, with his hands running up and down your back as he comforted you with his words of love and stories to keep your mind off everything.
You blinked a couple of times, trying to recall what exactly what exactly what you were doing.
As you recalled Daichi’s words, you let out a small breath.
He was right, you thought. You weren’t going to fail and you were going to be okay.
You grabbed the leather jacket, and slipped it on. It smelled of Daichi and it was exactly what you needed right now.
You walked into the kitchen and grabbed a packet of ramen.
As you made the noddles, you unknowingly smiled the whole time.
Thinking of Daichi had lifted your spirits and you felt better.
He loved you, and he believed in you, and for you, that was enough.
Tumblr media
MAN, THIS SUCKS. I HAD TO RE-WRITE IT LIKE FOUR TIMES GODDAMN.
anyways, i absolutely love and adore daichi, and this is kinda eh😬 so forgive me. I’d been swarmed w work the past week and have no creative juices left.
i will write about this handsome man again.

Wildest Take 4: If you simp for Lin Beifong and Kuvira then it’s problematic because you are justifying fascism and police brutality .
Tumblr media
This will always be one of the DUMBEST takes I’ve ever heard idc and I’m kind of sick of it. I know I’m a little biased because both Lin and Kuvira are my babes 😂 But I still think it makes little to no sense. I’ve said this so many times, putting real issues on fictional characters just makes it serious and ruins the fun, it also adds shame to characters people really love and enjoy.
In terms of Kuvira, I can be a little bit more understanding since she did take part in neonationalism and colonialism. However, everything she did, despite it being wrong, she truly believed it was for the better of the world like Amon and Zaheer. Unalaq just wanted power with his bitchass😂 But this brings me to another argument about Kuvira that PISSESSS me offfff skskskks.
Tumblr media
People have constantly said Bryke only made Kuvira the villain you can empathise with and it justifies fascism... I’m sorry HOLD TF UP. They only made Kuvira the villain we empathise with? Just because she got a redemption arc in the comics?
What about Amon’s story with Tarrlok and Yakone? That acts as his redemption. We understand and empathise with why he was doing what he did, because he truly believed bending was the source of all evil due to his dad being.... well a wanker😂 we also empathise with tarrlok for the same thing, even tho he’s a minor villain. Does that justify racism? No.
Tumblr media
As for Zaheer, we don’t really know why he opposes world leaders and became an anarchist, but we do know the reason why P’li did. A warlord essentially tried to turn her into a weapon and dehumanised her. So we can assume leaders abused their power on them all, leading to their anarchy, and we therefore EMPATHISE👏🏾 you see where I’m going with this? Also, all the villains get taken down, showing that their actions aren’t the right way to go about their causes.
That’s why that argument regarding people simping for Kuvira before redemption honestly annoys me because it’s untrue. Also, I’m done with people having to justify why they simp for either one of these beautiful ladies. It doesn’t make you a bad or an immoral person and you shouldn’t be ashamed.
Tumblr media
You are attracted to what you are attracted to, if 2 domme ladies who can kick your ass are your type, that’s fine. It doesn’t mean you have to always say “btw I don’t support fascism or police brutality”. People don’t justify why they simp for azula? And she was a coloniser who liked power. It just sucks that people have to constantly prove they aren’t a bad person for FICTIONAL characters.
Now, onto our favourite and sexiest cop, the queen, the one you’ve been waiting for lmaooo LIN BEIFONG😂😂 This argument also irritates me. I’ve seen so many times people say “she’s not excluded from ACAB” or “why are you simping for a cop?” Like??? Come tf onnnn mannn! Are you kidding me lmaoo?
Being a Lin simp doesn’t mean you support any of the police brutality going on AROUND THE WORLD not just in the US (because people seem to think it’s only the US). Also, I know y’all already know how I feel about ACAB, but why do you have to say “she isn’t excluded from ACAB” to justify why you simp. Again, you are adding shame to other simps as well as yourself.
Tumblr media
Also, why would she be “complicit in a corrupt system” anyway, which is what I see whenever people say she isn’t excluded from ACAB. She’s FICTIONAL. A FICTIONAL COP. LMAOO. She ain’t a part of our system bitch 😂😂😂 Republic City is in a different world.
It’s really aggravating because again you are politicising a fictional show. I feel the exact same way when people hate on others for liking Mako. Like? Lin and Mako are freaking phenomenal cops who genuinely want to help the world. They are in it for the right reasons and they constantly protect republic city; and there are cops like that in real life too.
Tumblr media
People have legitimate reasons for liking Lin and simping for her. It’s not because “oh she’s a cop and police brutality is okay yeah!” If you simp for any cop in a TV show it doesnt mean you are buying into a system that clearly needs reform, neither does being a cop in real life. I’m sick of the shame surrounding cops who truly want to make a difference.

HERBERT WEST CHEAT SHEET !
since my muses are not super well known in the contemporary rpc ( and i’m too lazy to do a full about page at this very moment ) i decided to put together little posts for them that give their general backgrounds, vibes, and plot possibilities !
this is a mix of canon and headcanon, and these are subject to change / adapt as i get more used to writing the characters
Tumblr media
BACKGROUND:
Films: Re-Animator 1985, Bride of Re-Animator 1990, Beyond Re-Animator 2003
We don’t talk about Beyond Re-Animator......
Dr. Herbert West, 24 in the first movie, 27 in the second movie, idk like 40 in the third movie. Mad scientist to the MAX. In the novelization Herbert is an orphan who gets passed around in foster homes before eventually going to undergrad at NYU and pursuing his theory about the re-animation of dead tissue. Mostly people think he’s sort of crazy until one of his articles catches the eye of Dr. Hans Gruber at a university in Switzerland, and he invites Herbert to come work alongside him. Herbert eventually grows to respect Gruber as both a mentor and father-figure.
Herbert and Gruber develop a reagent that affects re-animation in dead animal tissue but they know that for their results to be taken seriously they need to do a human trial. Dr. Gruber volunteers but the dosage of the reagent is too large, and though it brings Gruber back to life it quickly overwhelms his system and he dies again. Herbert is taken into psychiatric custody in Switzerland but is eventually released.
Herbert returns to America and specifically sets his sights on Miskatonic Medical School in Arkham, Massachusetts because one of the staff, Dr. Carl Hill, used to work with Gruber years ago, and even went on to plagiarize some of Gruber’s work and publish it in America. Herbert makes it his secondary goal to absolutely terrorize Dr. Hill, and because he’s a chaotic gremlin in human form he’s very good at it.
Herbert continues working on perfecting the reagent, rooming with Dan Cain and eventually pulling Dan into the experiments as well when Dan’s cat dies and Herbert is able to prove his research by reanimating it. Herbert isn’t perturbed when Dan’s talk with Dean Halsey goes south, and just digs his heels in and insists that the only way to truly prove that the reagent works is to reanimate a human cadaver.
Results are just as bad as you’d expect. Sure, the cadaver reanimates but it also wrecks the morgue and kills Dean Halsey. RIP. Herbert insists that they reanimate him and the dean comes back less like himself and more animalistic, trying to kill both Herbert and Dan before his daughter Meg shows up and stops him. Despite it all, Herbert manages to wriggle his and Dan out of any suspicion from the police but Dr. Hill takes an interest in Herbert’s work once he does exploratory surgery of Dean Halsey and finds out he’s technically dead.
Dr. Hill confronts Herbert in his laboratory and threatens to steal Herbert’s work and take it for his own, offering Herbert the meager honour of being his assistant. Herbert promptly murders Hill via decapitation but decides not to let his fresh corpse go to waste and reanimates both Hill’s head and his body, which come back to life and knock Herbert out and steal all of his work.
Yada yada, Herbert gets Dan to help him go after Hill, the big climax happens. Herbert is able to prove his theory about overdose by shooting up Dr. Hill’s headless body with a bunch of reagent, which backfires and Herbert is left for dead all tangled up in Hill’s intestines, but not after he ensures that his research is safe with Dan.
They never explain how Herbert survives the first movie but he sure is alive in the second movie! It’s roughly 3ish years after the first film, so he’s got his doctorate now and he’s drug Dan all the way to Peru so they can be volunteer medics in a civil war. This obviously gives Herbert an unprecedented access to fresh bodies for his experiments.
Eventually he and Dan head back to Miskatonic Hospital, where they’re able to get jobs and a creepy cute little house that used to be a mortuary so they can continue the work. Herbert is now obsessed with the reanimation of separate parts and convinces Dan to help him build an entirely new life from parts. Dan’s not on board until Herbert shows him Megan Halsey’s heart and promises that they’ll build the body around it.
Dr. Hill’s head also somehow survived the first movie and it tries to terrorize Herbert, along with a cop who’s investigating Herbert for stealing corpses. Herbert eventually kills and reanimates the cop, and then gets into even more trouble when all of the other strange creatures he’s been reanimating start coming after him because they’re being mind controlled by Dr. Hill’s nasty head ( don’t ask me okay, this script was written in literally 6 weeks it makes no sense )
Anyway Herbert and Dan successfully bring their creation to life right before getting attacked by Dr. Hill and his army of weirdos, all while Dan is having a mental breakdown because he thinks the creation is his dead girlfriend Meg. In the chaos Dan and the creation escape separately while Herbert and Hill and co. get trapped under buried rubble and are left for dead ( AGAIN ).
But surprise! Herbert isn’t dead! We don’t know how he survived but we do know that at some point in time Dan turned over evidence to the authorities that led to Herbert’s arrest and imprisonment. The third movie picks up with Herbert who’s been in prison for 13 years and the dumbass new hospital doctor is a fanboy of Herbert and brings in some of his reagent. Herbert basically starts a prison riot, chaos ensues, this movie is Not Good, but the important thing is that Herbert escapes prison with his work and gets to walk off free and definitely alive into the night <3
VIBES / PERSONALITY:
His work is EVERYTHING to him -- there have been multiple times where Herbert has put his work above his own bodily safety or chance of survival, and I guarantee he would do it again, too. Herbert is mostly focused on being able to do the impossible simply because it’s “impossible.” He’s able to convince Dan to help him because he reasons the practical applications of his reagent, like saving lives by aiding in surgeries or helping with amputations, but at the end of the day Herbert is only concerned with discovery, acclaim, and giving classical science a big ‘ole middle finger.
He can be incredibly manipulative when looking for a specific action or behavior in the people close to him. This mostly is seen in how he treats Dan, often reeling him back in with promise of how much good their work will do in the world when Dan starts to get squeamish. Herbert is also really good at finding the sorest spots in someone and pressing on them, but usually only does this when he wants to prove a point or if he really hates someone.
He gains a lot of power by seeming like the more “level-headed” person in an altercation, but he can get extremely excitable or aggressive, especially when something goes well with his research or if it’s being threatened.
He’s genuinely a good doctor, doesn’t freak out under pressure, has neutral-good bedside manner, is very decisive and isn’t afraid to make difficult decisions when it comes to a patient’s life. However, Herbert considers himself a scientist first and a doctor second. The work on reanimation will always come before anything else.
He’s a HUGE fucking nerd, he loves making puns or little zingers whenever he can fit them into a conversation. He also likes playing practical jokes, though he doesn’t do it often. He’s got a great evil giggle.
Oh he’s terrible at taking care of himself. There’s a deleted scene from the first movie where Herbert is shown to be injecting himself with a weakened version of the reanimating reagent because it helps keep his brain sharp and makes it to where he doesn’t have to sleep. What a NUT. I think he probably weans off this habit, by force or choice. His sleeping and eating habits are still pretty bad, though. Definitely the kind of person who doesn’t eat/sleep/rest unless he’s genuinely about to collapse because of it.
Oh he’s also sooooooooooo gay. gay gay gay homo sexual.
There are very few people he outright respects or enjoys spending time around, and with everyone else he is absolutely so bitchy and rude. He doesn’t give a single shit about being polite. Also ACAB.
PLOT POSSIBILITIES:
Got any canonically dead muses? Want them to be alive again? Herbert can help with that! He’ll definitely want to make sure they stick around and observe them to see why the reagent worked so well, maybe do some extra tests, so he can also double as a really annoying, creepy roommate. Score!
Med student muses? I have a new classmate for you
Ever wondered what your muse would do if they saw someone graverobbing, or smuggling body parts into their house in the middle of the night? Do they stop him? Ask questions? Offer to help? Now’s the chance to find out!
He could always use a new assistant since Dan keeps abandoning him after every movie, jfc, loyalty is so hard to find these days
Meet-cute where one of his reanimated creations tries to murder you and he saves you from it <3

We still dropping drama?
Cause there is only one thing stronger then my aunt’s contempt of my father, and that is the deep seeded obligation to family she was raised with.
When I was 12, one of my brothers (not rlly, but that’s what we called each other, one of those close fam friends situations) died. He drowned in a canal after getting stuck in the muck at the bottom during a police chase, apparently he and his friends broke into a house, they were all on suspension from school, and this is the catalyst for me questioning disciplinary systems.
Cause out of school suspension as a disciplinary action doesn’t make sense, and is often just the school pushing the problem to the side. It also puts an unnecessary burden on parents who work full time, and doesn’t really address the problem.
He was also dark skinned, so there is a part of me that sees what happened as the end result of a collection of actions executed by a system not built to help but to hurt.
But that’s not what this is about.
This is about the shit my dad pulled after the funeral.
My Aunt T, is my father’s youngest sister. There’s an eleven year difference between them. My father also has a narcissistic streak at least as long as my lifetime, prob longer, seeing as my mom’s cat hated him.
Aunt T was the adult closest to my brother, I didn’t really see what happened, cause I was 12 at the time and basically crashed after the service. She was real messed up over the whole thing, I mean that side of the family bottles everything up until they can’t anymore but even to ppl who didn’t rlly know her she was obviously falling apart.
Anyway, we’re at her apartment, it’s supposed to be all of us comforting each other, specifically her getting support from the rest of us. But, eventually my dad says smth to the effect of, “Is this what you’ll do when [Note] gets older? Just drop them for some younger cuter kid?”
Obviously this is fucked up on multiple levels.
This man is berating his emotionally compromised and grieving baby sister.
He’s accusing her of filling in a void of childlessness. Both just down right demeaning, and prodding at the fact my Aunt T can’t have biological children
We’re at a fucking Wake you piece of shit, what thoughts were you thinking?
I was woken up a bit after this happened by my mom and her sisters and shuffled out of the apartment not rlly understanding what was going on. But I eventually noticed that Aunt T and dad would avoid each other like the plague.
They’ve seen each other since, they’ve even gone to family events at the same time. She obviously grins and bears his presence, and while I play nice for my own monetary gain, the day he goes, is the day a new public restroom opens.
Tumblr media
Dude I’m. Listen if you ever decide to like. Child Of Goodbye Earl your father let me know if you need help I guess
(Also I 1000% agree with you regarding out of school suspension. There isn’t really a good way to “punish” kids in school imo, you’re either kicking them out of class which means they don’t learn or keeping them after class (or making them come in before class) which is inconvenient if not impossible for parents vis a vis providing transportation that would otherwise be taken care of. Idk education in the US sucks. Also acab)

Fuck what or where can I vent about this...
WARNING: IF YOU DON’T LIKE OTHER PEOPLES OPINIONS OR HAVING A THOUGHTFUL DISCUSSION, THEN THIS POST AIN’T FOR YOU! MOVE ON!
we good?
Are the Radicals gone?
yes?
good.
Honestly, America has gone to shit since Biden came into office. Actually no... It’s been shit since Obama’s administration. just a constant shit show, an awful comedy of errors.
I legit no longer feel safe or comfortable in my own country.
I feel like I am not being heard as a US citizen, and how I vote or what I say no longer matters because some rich Democrat or rich Republican decided it just doesn’t. I feel like nothing I say or do matters anymore and that if I speak at all, people are either going to label me as a “Bigot.” or “TERF.” on one end or “Snowflake.” “SJW.” on the other. Or just flat out be told to “pick a side.” when both are shit.
One is spray painted gold.
The other is covered in literal gold.
And I hate it, I hate every single second of it. the fact I have to constantly pick the lesser of two evils and that if I vote “wrong” or “Wrong think” people are just going to silence me. In a country of free speech. It’s ass backwards but its true.
so here’s some stuff that may or may not ruffle your jimmies:
1) The Riots are and ALWAYS will be unwarranted and should DEFINITELY be stopped:
I feel like it should go without saying, but apparently this is a controversial statement... which it shouldn’t be. Look, you were taught as a kid that stealing, breaking, arson, assault, battery, destruction of private and public property is bad and unacceptable. So why do you think that suddenly changes when you’re an adult? You still got spanked and/or sent into timeout didn’t you? You got disciplined (not punished there IS a difference) for it right? Well as an adult, news flash! It’s the government instead of your parents who discipline your shitty behavior. (Also furthermore: ACAB just helps the rich since their the only people who can AFFORD personal protection, so Defunding police would just help criminals find victims and get away with a variety of crimes. Since there’s no longer any scruples to prevent this.)
Do I believe that the national guard and riot police should’ve been called in:
Yes.
Do I believe that EVERYONE involved was being shitty?
No.
Do I believe that in cases like these Potentially fatal force is nessecary to control a growingly restless and violent crowd?
AbsoFUCKINlutely!
Do I believe children should be at large protests?
No.
Do I believe the entire situation could’ve been avoided if people ignored Social Media?
Fuck, Yes.
But sadly I and the rest of us do not live in a perfect vacuum of morale and decency, which brings me to another point.
Can we please stop the whole Marxism/Communism trend? Please?
Tldr of my opinion on this issue: If it doesn’t work the first time it won’t work for the *insert whatever number it is* time either. just let this fantasy die already PLEASE!
my actual explanation on how I feel about it:
So Marxism is a type of Communism. Which if you didn’t know, Communism is the extreme of Socialism... and the Extreme/Radicalized version of literal ANYTHING! ISN’T GOOD! FULL STOP!
I honestly feel like the current education system fails to teach kids the issue as to WHY Communism and more accurately Marxism just... doesn’t work. Like at all, not even a little bit. But in order to talk about Marxism and why it just fails in a spectacular way we need to take a Rrrrreally old piece of text into consideration.
Plato’s utopia.
Plato based his utopian world off of a fantasy, a morale void, a perfect vacuum that was the foundation to a squeaky clean world. Of rainbows, gumdrops and candy cane frogs. where everyone was a productive and virtuous citizen that strived to better mankind.
however it suffers a major flaw.
that’s just not how Humanity let alone how the universe works in general. We don’t live in that perfect virtuous vacuum Plato so desperately wanted us too.
Humans are by default, infallible, selfish, self centered, bratty, judgmental pricks who no matter how virtuous have dark and destructive tendencies. Whether it’s aimed towards ones self or their community, it doesn’t matter. Humans are just naturally assholes and if you don’t believe me go sit down, pick any point in history and just listen. History is filled to the brim with examples of why we don’t live in a perfect vacuum of virtue. Even with the best of intentions people still make one another miserable whether they know it or not. People are greedy, selfish, self serving and otherwise shitty one way or another. so ultimately even if its intent if founded in the purest, kindest, sweetest whatever have yous. It won’t work.
Similar to how Plato’s utopian society doesn’t work, neither does Marxism nor Communism. it realize to heavily on that Vacuum that just doesn’t exist.
if you don’t believe me, just ask anyone from a Communist/Marxist country or if you’d rather read instead. Go read “Animal Farm” and come back, its okay I’ll wait.
On the other hand this absolutely DOES NOT mean I am okay or fine with Facism or really ANY radicalism in general. if it isn’t clear already.
not that brings me to the most controversial opinion I have and one not a lot of people (yourselves included) won’t like me for (most likely)
My stance on BLM:
I.
Don’t
Like.
Supremacy.
Of.
ANY.
Kind.
And you know what, that’s just how I feel. If your movement involves challenging something by doing more of the same thing by design but just a different coat of paint. then no. I don’t like your thoughts or your movement because that’s just toxic and literally detrimental to everyone around you.
if you feel like the only way to fight “White supremacy” is with “Black supremacy” then expect me to think your a horrible (closeted) racist. The people who bang the table the loudest about an issue, are usually the people causing it in the first place. So how do we solve the issue of racism, the same way you deal with terrorists actually. By making fun of them and mocking their awful opinions.
Everyone is special and one of a kind, and even considering the notion of it not and taking it seriously is beyond the scope of any sane logic one should have. Treating racism with even a monikerum, a snibblie of seriousness is only feeding into and perpetuating the said issue.
if you make fun of it, like how we make fun of outdated ideals like Sexism and Terrorism. laugh at the people who do toxic shit, they fucking HATE being mocked or laughed at since they honestly want you to be a misreble as they are. So don’t let them. Also education is good, ignorance bad.
anyways may write a part 2 later, my second dose of the covid shot (moderna) kicked in and I am suffering...

alright, so i'm at a conflict right now and i thought maybe that you could help me out? you don't have to answer this tho dw!! so, i have a friend who's very much pro-BLM and she's amazing and everything like that, but she also hates the phrase ACAB. she believes that there are indeed good cops out there and everything like that. ngl it just feels like contradictory? she even made a post about it! saying that those who thinks ACAB have too much hatred in their hearts and that she feel sorry for them??? i am trying REAL hard to not call her a bootlicker 😬 anyways, what do you think?
not sure how much help i can really be here so i apologize in advance for that! (also big disclaimer i am white so i am not trying to speak for black people here at all i'm just gonna give my general opinion on blm in conjecture with acab)
personally. i would call them a bootlicker to their face LMAO i think they need to hear it. you can't truly 100% support blm but not also agree with acab sentiments because the two issues are inherently tied together (you're absolutely right in saying it's contradictory). it doesn't matter that ""not all cops"" are physically out there killing black people, they are still actively participating in a system that is threatening and dangerous and harmful to black communities. they are still complicit in the continued persecution and execution of black people. you cannot support blm and also support cops.
furthermore, cops in this country just have way too much power, full stop. setting aside the question of blm or police brutality, they just. they have too much power. they can get away with too much. they are given military weapons and military equipment to shut down (peaceful) protests. they are not subject to consistent supervision. they are not given proper training for all the issues they need to be educated in to be a police officer, and then they're sent out to deal with very sensitive issues that they're not prepared for at all (and then it's the victims' faults, not theirs, when they fuck up). we're made to feel bad for cops, to worship their achievements and to condemn anyone who says "fuck the police" or who speak out against cops (so many cops have been fired for condemning other cops, which is. proof to the fact that there's no such thing as "good cops"). police are overly funded for the small amount of training they receive and for the large amount of damage that they cause.
america is a police state, and it should not be. it was never supposed to be. supporting the current law enforcement system in america means supporting the continued development of a paramilitary police force that will continue to gain power unless we can somehow put a stop it. we need to completely abolish the current system and start over with something that actually works, something that actually keeps people safe, bc obviously the cops are not doing that. until then, we can expect to continue mourning bipoc who are murdered by cops. we can expect more mass protests, more blm protests, more "them vs. us" narratives that continue to glorify cops and vilify those who stand against them.
tl;dr your friend needs to do more research on blm because i don't think she totally understands the purpose of it if she's actively anti-acab

Hi! So I’m reading your acab x Spencer story and I really like the idea however the portrayal of the acab reader sounds like a bad guy. You are 16 so I’m not holding anything against you, just keep in mind as much as I love criminal minds it’s copaganda which is basically getting the public to humanize and trust the system. In your portrayal “y/n” just seems like an ignorant angry child instead of the real reason of hating cops. I’m not going to insult your intelligence because I can see that you understand the reason we call it acab. I just want you to know that it’s more than sarcasm but because of the inequality and murder faced. It’s not about the cops but the system that enforces an injustice. You’re doing a great job and this is not to insult you but the anger conveyed seems more through white privilege than the genuine fear black people face. I myself am not black but asian (and I don’t know your race either) so even I don’t understand the pain and fear they go through but just keep in mind that it’s a sensitive situation and I’m hoping to provide constructive criticism since you’re still very young! Let me know if I can help in anyway and if you’d like me to go more in depth
i understand where you are coming from completely, i was using the sarcasm just for the character as a personality trait that had nothing to do with acab.
i also want to be clear that as the story process you will see more of why “y/n” isn’t trusting of the system, i’ve just haven’t gotten that far within the story.
i also was using the anger with the fact a murder was after said reader, which is psychological proven anger levels can rise for people would can’t be in control or can’t know all the fact when people you know are dying.
as someone who is a advocate for acab, blm, etc. my intention was never to write the reader as a bad guy i simply thought a sarcastic manner would suit the reader and i was going to tie it in to a form of coping that i would get into on later chapters.
i’m so sorry to anyone i’ve offended in my work and i will do everything in my power to fix this. this isn’t my situation to have a say on considering i’m white and acab fights mostly (their are other situations but mostly) for the cruel manner that black people are treated by the cop.
i based (y/n) character on people that i know personality that were black and suffer from any form of police cruelty, this is my fault and i’m sorry.
like i said earlier i do have a plot line for this as why the reader would have a sense of anger to the cops/system i just haven’t tied in into the story yet and i should have made that clear so i’m sorry for that.
my intention for the story was never for the character to come off as childish or any of that.
i will do better to portray that better but my intention was never for it to come off this way because i know that’s not what the movement is about nor will ever be about.
thank you for holding me to that and i will work harder to make my writing clearer!
I DO NOT BELIEVE ACAB IS AN AESTHETIC I SIMPLY THOUGHT THE IDEA WAS DIFFERENT AS I HAVE COP FAMILY AND BELIEVE IN ACAB.
i am so sorry for anyone i hurt and if anyone else has something to add to this please do so, if anyone believes best that the work should be taken down please inform me because as i support the movement the movement isn’t necessarily for me but for people of color.
as someone who is native american decedent i would hate if someone didn’t portray movements that are fighting for me in the correct manner so please hold me accountable!!
as you mentioned i’m 16 and still learning things and i’m sorry if my mistakes have caused any misunderstanding of any sort.

** when I tell y’all I had to fucking SCROLL to copy and repost this- anyways, here’s for j*niper & all the other uninformed toads **
ACAB (all cops are bastards) does not imply that all cops are individually bad people. ACAB is a saying that represents intolerance towards the corrupt system that they(police) are willingly and silently working beneath, despite their claimed intent of keeping the peace and protecting the public.
black people are apart of the public, and their protection as well as respect for their basic human rights are not seen nearly enough from the American police force, hence the rioting and protesting. the term ACAB, or 1312, is not being used to attack individual policemen and women. it is a term that is being used to call out the lack of reform that police are depriving their system of without good reasoning. because if they were really all for protecting the public, then they too would stand against the systematic racism instead of ignoring it.
systematic racism cannot come from on individual, it has to come from a group of authoritative individuals and a group of followers who are decisively ignorant about the racism that is being enforced into their training and their orders. saying all cops are bastards is speaking out against the injustice of the law enforcement system, not the police themselves.
and while, yes, there are good cops, deeming them “good” isn’t exactly appropriate considering they’re silent through the crimes their fellow officers commit against the black community. they do nothing to change, stop, or speak out against the lack of punishment towards these racist assaults and murders. whether or not punishment is a factor, the police who are not committing racist injustices should still be speaking out. ESPECIALLY if punishment is a factor, because nothing will change unless something is said to get things done. they’re just as guilty as the cops committing the crimes for letting it slide without so much as a glance.
about 10% of cops are the "bad apples" but 80% are relatively good, however when they see corruption, they don't report it or say anything. the other 10% are the good cops, but because of police unions their good deeds are generally disregarded. nonetheless, these good cops are STILL in the wrong for their deliberate negligence of the crimes taking place beneath their very own system.
it has also been proven that around 40% of cops are domestic abusers, even despite the lack of reports for some of these instances, you can assume that this statistic is probably higher due to the number of domestic violence cases that go unreported by family members of abusive police.
so, again, ACAB & 1312 is not a slogan designed to hate on police in general. it’s designed to bring light to their unacceptably corrupt system and their faults (specifically regarding the lack of attention brought to the system) as good officers working beneath that system. we use ACAB because we want the system reformed. because we want to end the blatant racism being displayed by the very people meant to be protecting and siding with the community. that means ALL parts of the community. meaning black people too.
BLM (black lives matter) is not a phrase that depicts black lives are any more important than any other life. it’s a phrase that’s saying they matter JUST AS MUCH, because as of now, the law enforcement system doesn’t acknowledge that black people are important, meaningful, functional, NORMAL people in the community that are deserving of the same basic respect and rights that anyone else is. right now, they are being deprived of this from the justice system, and BLM is meant to bring light to this issue. no one is saying that black lives are more important than white/Mexican/Asian/Indian/Native American/ANY other race. but black lives are the ones that need saving right now. BLM is bring attention to the fact that black lives are being (and have been for centuries) severely fucked over and the world is tired of it. there’s no reason for racism to still exist, and there is absolutely no room for it in law enforcement because these people are meant to be trusted with our LIVES. how can we do that if an entire portion of our population is being assaulted and murdered in the streets for no good reason other than “they were black and looked suspicious.” fucking unacceptable.
so, in an effort to bestow that justice to the black community, rioting and protesting has broken out, alongside the phrases BLM and ACAB/1312. and with them, ALM has also sprouted up. but here’s the thing. ALM (all lives matter) is true, yes. but it’s literally defeating the purpose of our protests and our riots. it is invalidating the entire movement because it draws attention away from BLM. YES, all lives DO matter, but right now not all lives are being oppressed and suffering inequality from all corners of the country, hell, the WORLD even for merely their skin color. ALM is terrible. it’s disgusting. and if you plan on using it, educate yourself before deciding that it’s a good way to spend your energy and to slander your own name. ALM does not achieve anything for the black community and by spreading and promoting ALM, the black community will continue to live under racist injustice from law enforcement. no one wants that. black people especially don’t want that. step into their shoes and think about it for a minute. that head upon your shoulders shouldn’t go to waste, so fucking use it for once. ignorance is not something that can be tolerated during these times of crisis, and if you’re choosing to be ignorant and silent, you are ultimately supporting the systematic racism. the blatant, inexcusable murder and mistreatment of black people for simply jogging down the street. for reading a book. for making a phone a call. if you are not with us in the movement, you are against us. there is no in between on this one, and everyone needs to take the time to educate themselves and each other. ALM is destroying the building blocks of the BLM movement. don’t use it. ACAB/1312 is calling out the justice system for their fuck ups. BLM is showing how fucking tired we are of the oppression based upon race. most of these things are not being interpreted correctly from several different viewpoints, and I hope this cleared some things up
