this have been pointed out, most likely, but what I like about the movies is how realistic they are —a "parasite" living up a human's ass? How's that realistic? yeah, yeah, lemme just— because, I've read others said they didn't like Anne at first and i do understand that, honestly. Probably 'cause we're not used to such kind of character, like, she's secure, she's independent, she's strong, she knows boundaries, she can and will say "no" if needed. she's decisive, anyway, she's a doll because she also don't hesitate to help Eddie and be in a healthy relationship.

And same goes for Eddie. He's the perfect male character, no toxic masculinity, no scared of asking for help, he is a complete mess of a human, anxious, nervous, he literally has an alien inside his body and some dare to say Eddie was overreacting???? what the fok, y'all just scared of a real human being. Also, the way he just accepted Dan, how good he was for Anne, and end up being besties, probably. Eddie is going thru it, not having it at all, but he's so real, he's not scared of showing emotions.

Anyway, I love Eddie, I love Anne and I love Dan.

I also adore the fucking blob. Venom learnt about Eddie through Maria and decided he was perfect for him. bye.

A scene in the Venom movie I found hilarious (Anne doesn't call him out on it in the movie, I think Venom's dialog is internal): Venom is the one telling Eddie he needs to apologize to Anne for snooping through confidential work files on her computer (without her knowledge nor consent) and then publicly using them in his investigations, consequently losing her her job. Despite, you know, Eddie being human, and Venom not, and apologizing being very culturally-dependent besides (and Eddie's whole job being about him having social interaction with other people!
