... my partner told me I wasn't allowed to get on the computer tonight, as I have a stack of library books I hadn't even started.. jokes on him because that also means I don't sleep if it interests me enough.

In other news, I've finished 1 of the 4 books, and it only took me 3 and a half hours.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It takes place post covid, in a small Midwestern town. At least 3 characters are LGBTQ+, and it's slipped in there so casually that when the male love interest is being flirted with by a male customer, it was so nonchalant that when I read that part I verbally went "oh that's really nice".

Also the spicy scenes aren't pages and pages long, but cover what's happening in a way that provides a good start for the reader to picture what's happening.

On a scale of 1-5, I'd give this a solid 4. I plan on checking out the next book in the series, and once I've finished the series, I'll probably end up purchasing them for my own library.
