Not tagged and not going to tag, just saw it and thought it would be fun. I am going to do my WIPs to give you guys some teasers of what's cooking. If you like any of them let me know and maybe I'll pour some love into them.

1. A Brighter Future

"Why don’t you like them?”

“How could you be so careless Barry? How could you get into bed with a criminal? A murderer? I raised you better than this! No son of mine would ever stoop this low-” Barry shut his eyes tight to try and push away the illusion Sophia was conjuring from his emotions, tears starting to fall from his eyes when Iris’ heartbroken voice joined in with Joe’s disgusted one.

“He’s dead because of you! It should have been you! I lost the man I was going to marry for a future I don’t even want! I wish I’d never met you Barry Allen!”

“Soph-Soph, please stop.”

2. Cause Maybe You're That Thing I Need To Save Me

"Cisco and Lisa-they're engaged now and they were going through a bunch of the Rouge's abandoned safehouse and Cisco-he found an old sweater of yours and he vibed you. He said you were alive but we weren't sure so we uh-went looking. It took a few months but we finally got a lead and I sped here as quickly as I could to see if it was really true and it is! You're alive! The Legends are going to be so exciting to know you survived! Wait, how did you survive?"

"You can't tell anyone I'm alive Barry, you weren't meant to know I was alive. No one is supposed to know."

"But why? Are you retired now or something?"

"I am actually, so having trouble magnets like yourself show up on my doorstep isn't exactly my idea of a good time. You need to leave and tell your friends at STAR Labs that this was a dead end. No one can know I'm alive, and I'm not above killing you to keep it that way."

3. For Better Or For Worse

“Look,” Laurel sighed heavily, lacing her fingers together over the table as she met Len’s cold stare head on. “I don’t know all the details-yet-but your husband is a very resourceful and connected man, whether he realizes it fully or not. He said part of your vows was to get Mick Rory and you out of here. That’s what I’m here to do, if you want the specifics to how exactly we’re going to pull it off I suggest you ask the mastermind behind all of this craziness.”

“If you think it’s so crazy, why help?”

“Because people's lives are at risk and Barry’s not wrong, if anyone can pull something like this off it’s you and him. Quiet the power couple you two are, honestly. Besides, I’ve never met a person who could say no to that boy’s sweet face. Isn’t that why you agreed?”

4. Got A Lot Of Sins, But You're My Favorite

"So," Angie spoke up from behind the register, leaning her chin on the palm of her hand as she smirked wickedly at Len. "When were you going to tell me you had a crush on the Flash?"

"I don't. I just threatened to kill him-he stole my gun!"

"Yes, and he also looked like he wanted to kiss you senseless while you were pointing said gun in his pretty face."

5. I'd Cross Galaxies To Find You

Waking up next to a crying baby and someone sleeply pushing at his bare shoulder had Barry freezing in terror, not wanting to know how he would die next in this world.

“Baby, baby-go get Nora,”

“Nora?”

“Our daughter, Nora, you know the one you begged my sister to carry for us, the daughter who won’t sleep through the night because she isn’t being rocked at superspeed because her father spoils her rotten. Ring any bells?”

6. It's The Second Glances That Ties Your Hands

"What are you doing here, Len?"

"Well, let's just say my lady and your lord don't really get on–she's cleaning house now that she's free of the Time Masters. Speedsters mucking up the timeline were at the top of her priority list."

"You're here for me?"

7. Love Me Silently

"So help me-you are not proposing to me right now Barry Allen-so think before those next words come out of your mouth."

"See! You want the big grand gesture and a huge wedding to show me off! You want to marry me! He said you'd say no, he said you weren't the type-"

"He's a worried father, Scarlet, I'm not surprised.” Len muttered as he pulled the younger man into his arms, one hand rubbing soothingly over his back while the other cupped his neck lovingly. “Look, I don't want to be the reason you never talk to your foster father again-"

8. You Need To Allow Me To Help

“Did you hear that, Cisco? That dying whale noise? I think it was the last shred of my dignity being forcibly removed from my body, so if you’ll excuse me I’m just going to go drown myself in the boy’s bathrooms—” Barry muttered in panicked embarrassment, rushing off down the hall almost too quickly to see, ignoring his friends calling his name to get him to stop.

“Go after him, you idiot,” Mick huffed, pushing Len forcefully in the direction Barry had disappeared.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea,” Len answered slowly, his jaw set in a tense line and his eyes hardening over with realization.

9. You Got This Heaven In Your Eyes

'Keep up the exceptional work, Barry Allen, Central City is lucky to have you on their side. -L.S.'

"What's it say?" Eddie questioned, trying to peek over Barry's shoulder to get a look at the snow-white card, his eyes widening comically when he caught sight of the message.

"Uh-to keep up the good work," Barry muttered in confusion, his eyes drifting from the elegant handwriting to the memorising bouquet, not knowing what to think.

"You ruined the guy's fifteen year long not guilty streak and he tells you to keep up the good work?"

"This is weird, right?"

"Very."

10. Side Effects May Include

“It’s complicated, okay! I don’t know how it works. I just know when I’m not here-near you-it's like there's this overwhelming need to run as fast as I can to this-this pull. It never stops, not unless I wake up with you, when I’m near you-it’s like everything freezes.” Barry takes one look at Len’s face and lets out a drawn-out whine.

“Shut up okay, I know you want to make a joke-but it does! It’s like for the first time since I got my powers I can just stand still or sleep since that’s never exactly come easy for me-”

“Do you have a point Barry?”

“The point is for whatever reason my subconscious is latching onto you. Whenever I’m awake I feel this pull like I’m meant to be running somewhere, but I haven’t had the time to really figure out what it means when I’ve been running around stopping bombs and searching for evidence to get my dad out of jail while also trying and failing to stop the man who really killed my mother! I’ve been dealing with a lot lately okay-I barely sleep more than a few hours a week if I even manage that-and every time I do fall asleep I wake up next to you! I’m having these bizarre dreams you keep popping up in and all I want is to sleep for more than an hour at a time!”

nick and y/n basically repeating history right before their eyes is crazy. the story between y/n's parents and nick's parents are so interesting? oliver being the observant person that is probably made that connection way before nana told them verbally. although nick and y/n are truly just besties, it makes oliver realize that at the end of the day, he could lose y/n that easily. so in a way, there is a relief in just staying in the uk with y/n.

also, felix reading their myspace is so funny to me. like he's so obsessed and can't hide it that they find it endearing. but when he sees that y/n and oliver is hanging with the youngs (especially nick) it makes him fume. because that could easily be him under you two's adoring eyes.

oh man the Crazy Rich Asians AU goes so hard in my mind, i love this movie so fucking much and I love intertwining their worlds because TBH i do just think they make sense!!

the thing with the reader's mother and Nick's father (also Sir James, like Felix's dad lol. if Y/N had a nickel, etc...) was born from a thing i wrote about how the reader's grandfather had established a professional relationship with the Youngs, as well as the fact that in CRA Nick's mother mentions to Rachel that she wasn't the family's first choice to marry her husband. i do think the friendship Nick's dad and the reader's mother was and still is entirely platonic, when they're around each other they seem to revert back to younger versions of themselves where they're still best friends.

Eleanor Young is just bothered by the constant reminder that most of her husband's family wanted your mother to marry her husband, and the two of them still get along so so well. it's also the exact same reason the reader's father is so insecure whenever he goes to singapore, but he has to go for business reasons and because he's insecure, no matter how much your mother insists she has never felt romantically about Nick's dad.

it takes a while for the reader to realise just how much the way they talk about nick and singapore bothers Oliver, to the point where he kind of hates talking about it and going for the first few years. he definitely gets giddy at the end of the trips and clings to the reader during the entire flight home and probably for the week after before it returns to a less intense level of interaction again. honestly i think it might be the only fight they have as children, and that's when the reader finally understands, and makes sure to prioritise oliver and know he's their priority, even when they're in singapore. i think it might also be the thing that really solidifies them as a package deal, really cements their co-dependency. that being said, ultimately oliver comes to love and cherish nick just as much as the reader, and the feeling is absolutely mutual. you, oliver, nick, and astrid becoming an absolute elite powerhouse across the world's elite social scene is one of my favourite images.

also ngl im always tickled by how we all seem to agree that Felix has probably one-sided beef with Nick Young when they're at Oxford in every AU simply because Nick is also pretty and charming and rich, and Felix is petty even if he tries to act like he's not.

we as a society don't talk about the fact that Saltburn is set in the MySpace era enough.

Here's what I hope for the second Fnaf movie when it comes out in 2025-2026 (filming has been pushed back from this summer to December of 2024)

○For the film to be slightly longer, like around 2 hours and 50 minutes at most, and for it to fully expand out its characters (don't get me wrong, the actors and actresses did wonderfully in the first film but I do feel that certain characters were underutilized, such as Abby's babysitter Max who's rumored to make an appearance in the second film as Shadow Freddy).

○For some loose ends to be tied up (the director actually said that what happened to Jane Schmidt will be tied up in the sequel. It's very likely Golden Freddy merely put Jane in a coma, just to get her out of the way. Since Mike doesn't look to be under any pressure by police when the ending comes around, I can assume he's not under interrogation).

○For the sequel to actually be Rated-R and to take full advantage of it (The first couple games are NOT PG-13 in any way, shape, or form). The closest the first film comes to a Rated R scene is the break-in scene.

○Some confirmation of what actually happened to Mike's father (I believe Mr. Schmidt is the film's version of Henry Emily).

○Vanessa revealing that her father and Mike's father knew each other

○Mike and Vanessa co-parenting Abby together.

○Shadow Freddy (Max) trying to protect Abby from the Toy Animatronics

○Jeremy Fitzgerald revealed to be Michael Afton, Vanessa's long-lost brother

So, first, I would like to thank you for your time when sending this question.

My thoughts:

You touched an important issue I had with the movie. Characters and pacing (that's two issues.) The movie spent a lot of time trying to show the basics of the franchise while trying to tell a story at the same time. There's little room for character development or screen time. It took the novel to make me realize there's more into this world other than Mike, Vanessa, and Abby. Good call there. Now that you mention it: if Shadow Freddy appears in the sequel (either as Max's spirit or anything else), do you think we'll get any better leads on just what exactly he is? He's still a mystery to this day.

Hm. Well, the novel did imply that Jane's condition might be beyond salvation (Pool of "ketchup" and Mike's comment on Jane "moving on".) Then again, the novel is based on an earlier version of the script. Maybe things changed from the final version. Both media didn't explain Jane that well; she kinda just ... died.

Eh, agree to disagree, honestly. To me, FNaF was never too graphical (like some people like to affirm), but also not too family-friendly. PG-13 is fine, but Scott could've done more than just the break-in, in my opinion.

Oh, yeah! Good one. Mike's family was done in a way that left loose ends for sequels to explore. With the Garret/Puppet/Charlotte potential connection, maybe Henry is (in a way) Mike's father? I guess the Afton x Emily never ends, huh ...

Vanessa knows way more than what she told us. Too bad she's currently in a hospital bed, relying on medical equipment. I don't think it'll be Vanessa though; Mike being an "Emily" would be the big twist of the sequel (like with Vanessa being an Afton.) Maybe Springtrap will spill the beans?

Oh, definitely! I think that's for the 3rd movie, sadly. Vanessa still has to come to terms with her past, so there are some priorities to be concluded first. I see the potential for more.

Makes me wonder if Shadow Freddy's true intentions. Bad guy or good guy? It's not like he shows up that much in the franchise.

Oh man, that'd be crazy! Is Jeremy confirmed to be in the sequel? I dunno, but I'd like to see him regardless. To have him as an Afton ... nuts.

mm the thing with madam qin and jgy and honestly a bunch of situations in mdzs (which is why i love it so much!) is that no matter what choice you make, everything still sucks. there's a chance that everything won't suck, but it's as likely as winning the lottery.

mme qin have been raped by an incredibly powerful man who's also her husband's admired superior and political ally. a woman being raped is not only mortifyingly humiliating for her, but also for her husband. what certainty did mme qin have that qcy wouldn't have divorced and cast her out, or even killed her, after finding out? even if he was the best man in the world and he assured her she's the love of his life and nothing would ever change that, the sect is still subsidiary to lanling jin. they can't do shit.

and this is the societal and political side -- we can't forget about the woman herself, about her trauma, about the fact that she gets pregnant and gives birth to a child, a daughter, and lives with her. if jgy can't stand to be in one room with his son, a product of surprise incest, but nonetheless a loving relationship, then how must she feel, knowing that this little girl beloved by everyone is a child of rape?

i get being frustrated with her as a character whose acts contributed to a tragedy, i've been there too and now rereading that one post i regret it because it's kinda unnecessarily aggro towards mme qin! but literally what could she have done? and let's not assume she just sat and did nothing. jgy says he and qs had to fight for the permission to marry; mme qin was probably doing her best to stop them from doing that, but what ammunition did she have other than "son of a whore, i don't trust him", something that qs would have immediately disregarded and qcy -- disregarded after either seeing or jgs agreeing that his son is a hardworking, filial good man? nothing.

same for jgy's side, the "he should have told qs" -- okay, but when? and then what? what certainty did he have that she wouldn't have flipped out, panicked, said the same things she said to him when she got the letter from bicao? of course, there was a chance of her freaking out at first, then calming down, deciding to end the pregnancy and live as siblings, but how big this chance was? how safe and effective would it be to secretly take a mix of herbs from an unknown source? how soon would everyone start wondering why is she not expecting, is jgy impotent, is she barren, did she change her mind, is he so diseased and disfigured that she ran away screaming, etc, etc?

i've seen people calling jgy all sorts of names for talking about reputation and the conference, but while it sounds monstrously uncaring to qs and shows in a twisted, sad way how changed jgy's priorities are from those of a "normal" person, he's... not actually wrong per se. he's just bypassed, packed all the emotions one would normally feel in this situation and squished them into a dark locker at the back of his mind, and went straight to Trying To Stop The Worst From Happening. because it really IS the end for both him and her if the incest news get out, and someone -- two people, possibly even more, but he doesn't know that -- is out there, KNOWING it. they can do whatever they want with this information, and once they do, suicide or faking your death and running far, far away is the only option. and qin su KNOWS THIS. this is why she kills herself, aside from shock and grief. once even one (1) more person knows about her situation, everything is ruined. hell, i can't imagine how qcy must have felt when he returned from his trip. his son(s?) must have been either at the conference or at home, but there's no mention of them at the meeting in the lotus pier. i wonder how they managed it later on, when everyone knew.

and finally, if mme qin told qs -- then what? qs would be shocked and confused. she'd hate it. she'd ask why her mother waited for so long, if her father knows; depending on the timing she could already be pregnant. EVERYONE INVOLVED WOULD HATE THIS SITUATION SO MUCH.

and like... i kinda get why mme qin "waited" until the last impossible moment. she may have begged jgy to call the wedding out, but she must have known it was too late. but had he and qs not been so intent on getting married no matter what, qs wouldn't have been pregnant, and while this reveal would still be shocking and miserable to jgy, at least he would be able to tell mme qin he won't touch her. and i feel that maybe she was hoping for something like that? maybe they could sit qs down and tell her, or maybe jgy could pretend he's not interested in sex or even kissing and qs would spend the rest of her life in a sexless and childless marriage that's nonetheless as happy as it can get. but it was impossible! that's the tragedy, no matter what angle you look at it from, everything sucks and is horrible.

there's no way out! mdzs is full of situations like that that don't involve characters taking insane risks and being 100% confident in predicting the other characters' reactions, and also society getting cool about a bunch of things real quick

My MaeIso Headcanons

Yes, it only takes one request to spill stuff for me to do it. thanks to Hailey for that.

I have a few headcanons about MaeIso and about Maehara and Isogai as individuals. Many of them are mentioned or hinted at in my latest work "May it Last Forever".

To start with, I think the most MaeIso-like thing that might take place during the events of Assassination Classroom is that Isogai catches feelings for Maehara. I don't think it will go the other way around for a little while and if it does, I think Maehara will ignore it, and Isogai will try to do the same, but he will probably think a bit more about it than Maehara would. I also like the idea of Isogai getting help from Koro-sensei to figure out his feelings, which might also include talking about the grief he still feels after losing his father. I believe that Maehara was really there for Isogai during that time as emotional support, which could make it difficult for Isogai to find out what the feelings he has towards Maehara actually are.

This leads me to my next headcanon. I think they will both end up dating their potential partner from 3-E. That is, Isogai will date Kataoka and Maehara will date Okano before they move on to start dating each other.

Isogai's relationship with Kataoka would be the first one to start, but also the first one to end. I see it as a mature romance and there would be very few conflicts in the relathinship and absolutely no arguments whatsoever. They know how to talk things out like adults. The reason it would end would be because Isogai realizes he only loves Kataoka as a friend and he admits this to her, and they agree to end the relationship as a result because he thinks she deserves a guy who loves her.

Maehara's and Okano's relationship would start later. I believe it would be a bit more imature than what Isogai and Kataoka have going on. They wouldn't always talk things out and I could see them get into some intense fights. But it is a needed relationship for Maehara to grow into being able to commit himself to a relationship. Primarily because Okano will be a strict teacher. I think the relationships will overlap, so Maehara and Okano will start dating while Isogai and Kataoka are dating. I imagine that Maehara's and Okano's relationship ends because Maehara either just falls out of love with Okano or falls in love with Isogai and begins to emotionally cheat without meaning to.

In Japan they have the concept of tomo-choko (friendship chocolates) which are given to friends on Valentine's Day. As Isogai's siblings grow a little older, they realize how big a presence Maehara has in their lives and his sister begins wanting to give him chocolate, which Isogai is more than happy to help her make and deliver.

I imagine Maehara would be quick to get a driver's license as soon as he was able, and he would be just as quick to get a car as he would find it cool and impressive, and maybe his childhood friend could ride in it from time to time.

Isogai, on the other hand, would neither get a license, nor a car unless he absolutely had to. There are several reasons for this. 1. a car is expensive and I don't know if it's true or not, but I imagine getting a driver's license isn't cheap either. 2. If you want a car in Japan, you need a parking lot designated to your car. I imagine that an apartment with a parking space isn't cheap either. 3. Japan has a great public transport system. The area around Tokyo is especially good with that. You can get around just fine without a car. If you get a commuter pass it's especially cheap. Simply put, I don't think his need is strong enough that he would make it a priority.

I touched upon this in the End Note of May it Last Forever, but homosexuality isn't generally as accepted in Japan as in other places in the world. I believe Maehara's mother would be upset when she first learns her son is dating a guy, no matter who that guy is, but I think she will come around eventually. I don't think his dad will be as accepting of their relationship and if he comes around, it will definitely take longer. As for Isogai's mom, I think she will just be happy as long as her son is happy. This might partially be due to guilt. I highly doubt she is happy that her son had to grow up as fast as he did, and therefore is making his happiness her priority.

Most of these were born from a story I wrote ages ago, which is long gone at this point. (I deleted it and changed laptops since, so that's why. It can't be brought back unless I recreate it). A few of them, however, like the driver's license thing, is something I came up with during this past week.

This ask is not really about Jensen, though I got curious after reading some of the anons and your thoughts regarding the path of parenting he chose. Do you really think a parent should sacrifice own career or should not put in priority for sake of their children? I have seen a lot of cases parents (mainly mother) forced to leave their wonderful career forever by people with an excuse of children, and at the end of their life they are left with nothing but regret. This is something I really loathe. I almost had an argument with my mother today with the same topic.

Hi, Anon! Thank you for asking instead of assuming. I'd love to clear this up especially since I saw some anon asks sent to various blogs claiming bad things about my posts when no one who wrote it was at all negative but always respectful and denoting concern. With all of my posts, I simply meant to state that glamorizing absentee fatherhood is toxic and that an emotionally unavailable/uninvested parents leave an impact on the children that does not encourage their healthy growth and you don't have to take my word for it, please, look into it experts agree. So, to clarify, I never said an Actor or anyone for that matter should renounce their career but simply that children have needs and that any caring parents will find the right balance. This may mean someone who is deployed for example, they can't help that but they can make choices that affect their children in positive ways. Look at Jared, he moved his show to be able to work around his family, that was the choice of a father who put his children first and I admire that greatly. Not everyone can do that to that extent because everyone lives different circumstances but if their heart is it they will find ways. I hope I managed to explain things clearly, with Jensen what I take issue with is him glamorizing toxic male archetypal beliefs that need to evolve. Parents shouldn't sacrifice their whole lives or careers but as people who have chosen to bring lives into the world they do have certain responsibilities and the level they meet those depends on their emotional involvement with their children. I know parents who are always away but have a great relationship with their kids and others who are always there but without being there which damages the kids enormously. So each family has it's balance to find and as far as Jensen is concerned there are a lot of red flags that he keeps glamorizing until the day he won;t be able to anymore and it will all fall apart. Please know you should always follow your intuition as far as your personal life is concerned and never make choices out of patriarchal expectations because you will live an unfulfilled life if you live to please other people's values and expectations. First of all, I love Zayde Wolf - Heroes!!! And it is so fitting for the ending arc so far!

So. I know everyone thinks Jake's a bit of a douchebag, but we can see a change towards the end of the movie, and even before actually. In the beach scene, not only do the other characters follow him when he imitates that the football is a grenade, but later on when Bob catches the ball and everyone is cheering for him, Jake does it too. There's no bad blood between them at that moment. And I know that, somehow, we were robbed of a scene in which Jake apologized in his own way. Jake cares about his teammates the rest of the movie, and at that moment when he looks geniunely scared of Rooster having to fly the mission and not him, who is the best pilot on the team (I'm sorry, I don't take criticism. Even Maverick says that), while everyone is more focused on the HANGSTER moment, for me it's a precious scene in which we can see Jake's real persona. Later on, when they're getting ready to fly, and he announces that 'dagger spare is ready', Jake is the first one after Maverick to tell that he's ready to fly, as if he's trying to give Maverick the final opportunity to choose him instead of Rooster. Jake knows, even though he doesn't use the right words to say it, that Rooster isn't ready to fly the mission, and Maverick shouldn't have asked him to do it.

SO. I know that he cares about the rest. And he cares in that way, with actions rather than words, why wouldn't he care so much about his wife? Jake is more open with Red, they communicate a lot and that's something that I've been trying to portray, how Jake communicates with different characters. Is like everyone of them knows a little part of something, but Red knows them all.

Payback knows about his fears of becoming a father, of not being good enough for Liam.

Mav knows about his past and how he's still trying to protect his family after those years.

Javy knows how he still loves Red.

And Red knows everything, his fears, his dreams, his reasons behind every action. Jake feels like he owes her that. He's not afraid of vocalizing his fears with her, because he knows that Red won't judge him or laugh at him. It's the purest relationship.

bUT IT LEADS ME TO THIS:

Yeah, he's not jealous, actually he's more scared. Scared that Red might have reunited with a past love, one that didn't put herself and her son in danger, someone that might be more easy to be with than him. He's afraid that now that he has her back, and that he has a son he had been wanting for years, someone comes in and takes them away from him. So that's why he asks if there's 'feelings left'. If Red had told him that she had feelinds, I can assure you that Jake would have stood aside and would have give her the opportunity to leave. Because a little voice inside of his head keeps telling him that he's putting his family in danger and that they would be better without him. The thought of becoming Jacob St. James again has crossed his mind, you know. Everything to protect his family.

I keep thinking about you. About us. About what we used to be. About how little to nothing I meant to you after all those years. And how you meant the world to me until the very end.

How it came to be. How fast it caved and crumbled, the thing I thought would be forever. Always. Through thick and thin. How I thought we could get engaged in the next few years. How I, terrified of marriage and pregnancy, was warming up to the idea of having a family with you.

I want to cry but I can't. The medications make me unable to express emotions. I am numb with a raging storm deep inside that cannot get to the surface. I wonder if that's how you felt about me for the past year. And how you decided I wasn't even worthy of a passing thought of fixing anything. How I wasn't worthy of knowing that your feelings were "just simply burning out". Even when I was there for you, always, until the very end. With all your passive agressive comments, all your stonewalling, all the times you've ignored my attempts to do what you said you wanted of me. All your recoiling from my touch as if I disgusted you. I missed you for the past six months of my life.

I would still give up my life for you.

I do not recognise you anymore. I don't know who you are. I don't know where did the person I used to love and cherish go. What happened to him. And why did it happen so suddenly. Was the stranger always there? Was I blind to his existence simply because I loved you? You were the light of my life. A partner in crime, a best friend I could talk about everything for hours on end. And then, one night, you weren't. And it didn't worry you for a split second.

I did everything I could. Despite being exhausted beyond words, despite being severely depressed, despite getting more and more sick for the past months. I am still yet to set up my appointment with the oncologist. And you were nowhere to be seen. I always knew I wasn't at the top of your priorities but never expected to be below the bottom. In the negative numbers. I had to bring up the topic, because you wouldn't.

I never thought I would agree with something your family member said, but now I see it much more clearly - you are so fucking much like your father. And I only knew him from the stories you've told me. And you can deny it all you want, can get angry and furious at that all you want, it does not change a thing. You are so much like him.

You should go to therapy. The very thing you refuse with all your might all the time. And the regret will come.

But that's not my problem anymore.

I don't wish you happiness. Because now, with all your thought patterns and narrow mindset, I know you are not happy, never was and probably never will be. You can try all the drugs, have all the parties, go out every fucking night with your friends, drink all the alcohol you can, play all the games, live your supposedly "better lifestyle" - but in the end, you are alone. Unhappy. By your own making.

And, yet again, that is not my problem anymore.

You are not my priority anymore.

Hello!! I'm really curious why do you ship destiel but not wincest? From what i understand your blog arent they more to your preferences?(possessivenes,gaslighting,overprotective and sam was the character dean loved the most from starting to the end of the show.)

Hello! Thank you for such an interesting question)) While I tend to prefer darker ships, I can fall in love with any couple as long as they share a mutual obsession. This is usually my main requirement, in addition to smaller, more unique personal factors.

In Supernatural, Dean and Castiel share the obsession and they also share canonically romantic subtext and text. While Dean and Sam are definitely obsessive over each other too, it's not for the reasons that attract me personally. With them, it's more like, "I had no one else while I was growing up; I'm terrified of losing you because you are the only person I used to rely on, and without you, I'll be all alone." They were thrown together because of fate, they didn't have a choice. In other realities we see, Sam and Dean don't even get along all that well because they are pretty incompatible. Like in Dean's perfect world fantasy: he and Sam are brothers and they love each other, but their contact is limited to a few visits on holidays and phone calls. From the first episode, their dynamic is not just brotherly - Dean is presented as Sam's father, a person who raised him. They have some romantic subtext and mirroring, but their chemistry is purely familial: I never sensed a iota of romantic tension there. Posessiveness between them comes from the fear of being left alone, not because they actually crave to be the only people in each other's life.

You mentioned that Sam is the person Dean loved most from start to finish, and I both agree and disagree with it. If he had to choose between saving Sam or Castiel, I'm sure he would pick Sam, yes. Because to Dean, Sam is not just a little brother, he's his child, and Dean will always put him first no matter what. But losing Castiel would break him just as terribly - we've seen it on more than one occasion. Dean cannot live without him, and to me, it's stunning because Dean is a character who doesn't give his love freely. He loved his parents, he loved Bobby, but no one got under his skin the way Castiel did except for Sam, who was around forever because he's family. The fact that in so many ways, Castiel and Sam hold the same importance to Dean is huge, especially in parallel, because unlike Sam, Castiel is a fairly recent addition. Castiel killed numerous people, made terrible mistakes that Dean would have never forgiven if someone else did them, and he's not a safe choice - he's literally an angel who can leave any time, with Dean being unable to stop or find him. And yet he still loves him tremendously, to the point where he becomes suicidal without him.

Castiel is the only person who gives Dean what he needs: unconditional love that centers on him alone. Sam loves Dean, but as he said and showed numerous times, he wants to have other people, other priorities, too. Sam's heaven is full of strangers; Castiel's (fake) heaven was supposed to be full of Dean, and that's the biggest contrast between them. Castiel makes Dean a priority; Castiel singles him out and focuses on him with intensity that Dean has been craving all his life due to his self-worth issues. He knows he can count on Sam because Sam's family - Castiel is not, yet he still loves him with abandon, and Dean is helpless in the face of such intense devotion. With Sam, Dean is surviving; with Castiel, he has a chance to live and learn what being happy means. If Dean allowed himself to be selfish and to think of his own happiness, I think he would pick Castiel over Sam.

Interestingly, he did pick Castiel several times, both of which happened in Purgatory. Purgatory has been said to be "pure" - it's a place where Dean doesn't have to worry about obligations and expectations, and it's telling that Castiel becomes his priority there. They chose each other; Castiel quite literally defied the God's narrative out of his love for Dean, and I think it's both epic and beautiful.

Also, before Castiel, Dean didn't understand that people grow up and move on to build their families - Sam did, and this created a rift between them.

Dean: “You and me and Dad—I mean, I want us….I want us to be together again. I want us to be a family again.”

This shows the state of Dean's mind and his views on love. Dean wants to stay with someone forever. He craves loving and being loved, he longs for constant contact. He wants to share his life with someone, and in his mind, it can only happen with Sam and John because they are the only people he knows how to love. It doesn't matter how flawed their family is, it's all Dean's got. Unconsciously, he's trying to assign the role of a life partner to Sam and John, and obviously, this could never work.

Like Sam says, "Dean, we *are* a family. I’d do anything for you. But things will never be the way they were before."

The script adds: "Dean looks heartbroken."

But Sam is right. Like I mentioned, their co-dependency emerged because in their childhood, they had no one else. No friends, no meaningful connections, no long-term bonds. And as life has it, most family members drift apart with time: they still love each other, sure, but they pursue different interests and they start their own families. Dean doesn't get it. Sam is ready to open his heart to others, but Dean isn't - this is all he knows and he’s too scared and too emotionally closed off to learn.

And that's why observing him with Castiel later is so fascinating. There is suddenly an angel of the Lord who worships him, who structures his whole existence around him, who loves him and values him above everyone else. And finally, after all those years, Dean starts to understand it. He's still fiercely attached to the concept of family, but it begins to expand, and the more he clings to Castiel, the more he lets go of Sam, the healthier and more balanced their relationship becomes. Sam finally becomes a brother who has his own life but who'll always be there if needed; Castiel becomes someone who is going to be there always, period. And Dean can finally become truly happy. Cas helped Dean feel special and loved in a way he's never been before, and this very premise is something I really love.

TLDR: Sam makes Dean fight to stay alive because he needs to be there for his brother. Castiel makes him want to live and actually enjoy this life. Sam and Dean are abused children who clung to each other because they had no other choice; Castiel and Dean chose each other for themselves against all odds.

Summary: Daryl sees you playing with Carl and he suddenly realizes he wants kids. With you.

Daryl never thought he could fall in love. He didn't even know the feeling. But it hit him like a train the moment he saw her.

(Y/N) was flustered when he stumbled on her in the woods, running from the city. Ripped clothes, messy hair, and heart racing. Daryl was a bit rude at first, taken aback by how beautiful she was. He met many women, but nobody claimed he hears like this, from the very first moment. From the very first sight.

And he lost his mind from that moment on.

Her safety was his priority. Keeping her feed and warm and dressed. She became his whole world.

Daryl was happy to find the farm. He didn't agree with Hershel's methods, and he didn't like all the new people around him. But it was better than staying on the road, and when winter comes, she'll have a warm place to sleep. And that's what matters.

“Whoa. Nice hunt.” She says, eyes set on him. The deer he shot was heavy on his shoulders, but he was glad for the huge amount of meat he provided. That he provided to her. “What about some more lessons later today?”

“I'll teach ya ta’ clean it. C'mon.” He says, tilting his head to the open area East of the house where he set his camp. And where you set yours, despite the offer of a room in the house. Daryl tried to convince her, but she's too much of a hothead to accept it. He didn't want to admit it, and he never will, but he rather has her close by. Daryl sleeps better knowing she's in the tent right next to him, only a couple of feet away.

“I have to help Carl with homework. Give me ten minutes.” She says with a bright smile, and Daryl's heart starts beating so fast he thinks he might die.

Can someone die from love? Because if that's possible, Daryl knows he's damned.

“Fine. Hurry up.” He grunts, walking past her.

(Y/N) gives him an eye roll and a giggle. She sees right past him and he's fake anger. She knows him, maybe too well.

Daryl goes to his camp, dropping the deer and cleaning himself the best as he can. Everyone gets to shower once a day, and so does he. For her. He even cleans under his nails once a day.

Ten minutes pass by quickly, and then another ten, and (Y/N) still hasn't come. So Daryl makes his way to the wooden table under the three, where Carl usually sits to study. And there's where she is, but instead of peacefully sitting down, she's has Carl hanging on her back, a burst of laughter flowing out her lips.

“You're too heavy, kiddo!” She laughs, stumbling a little before standing up straight. “Jump off!”

“Let's see how many squats with me on your back!” Carl yells, swinging his legs. “C'mon!”

“I'm so gonna drop you off.” She says, grabbing his thighs and bouncing him up. “Ready?”

“Born ready.” He nods and she starts, crouching down over and over again, laughing, making silly comments with Carl.

(Y/N) would be a good mother. This thought comes to him suddenly, and at the same time, another acknowledgment.

Daryl Dixon never thought about having kids until this very moment. And it's a weird feeling. His father was a devil, but he will make it different. He will be different.

He and (Y/N) have this unlabeled relationship. Always around each other, talking, hugging. (Y/N) takes every chance she has to lay her head on his shoulder. At least once a day. And Daryl feels like his heart is trying to jump off his chest.

“Five! Six!” Carl counts as she laughs and squats.

“I can't anymore, kiddo. Drop off.” She complains, and Carl jumps to the ground. “My back hurts now.”

“(Y/N),” Daryl calls, gesturing for her to come when she looks at him. “C'mon.”

“Bye, kiddo.” She says, messing with Carl's hair.

Daryl patiently waits until she reaches him before he starts walking again. She smells good, like the strawberry shampoo he got her a while ago. She gives him a stare, a smile, and a wink, grabbing his arm and keeping the slow pace.

He doesn't care if the world ended. He knows he wants a family. And he wants it with her.

“I don't wanna do that!” You say the moment Daryl opens up the deer. “I can kill it but I can't do that.”

“Ya gotta learn. What if yer out there alone?”

“That's easy to fix.” Sitting on the three logs you keep near the tent you cross your legs, eyes set on Daryl despite the rather disgusting task he's into.

“How?” He grunts, blue eyes giving you a curious glance.

“We'll never be apart.” Shrugging your shoulders, you giggle at the eye roll. “What? We haven't been apart ever since we met, D. And I don't want to be apart from you. Never.”

“Did ya ever think about havin’ kids?” The question comes out of nowhere, and it takes you by surprise. “Ya get along with Carl jus’ fine. Thought ya'd be a good mom.”

Biting your lip, you silently stare at him for a while. “Yeah. I always wanted to have kids. I still do.” Blushing a little, you look down at your hands. “But it's... It's really hard to find a Daryl who could be the father.” The words come out a little too low, but by the awkward silence, you know he heard you. “I-I mean–”

“Nobody would want ta’ have a child with me, (Y/N).” He mutters, and when you look up at him again, he's focused on his task, peeling the skin off the deer.

“If you have the balls to propose, Daryl Dixon, we might start working on that right away.” You try to keep the sassy tone, but your whole body burns. It's not a secret you love Daryl. And it's not a secret he loves you.

“Yer jokin’.”

“M’ not.” Giggling, you put a strand of hair behind your ear. “I'm not.”

“Huh.” He mumbles, eyes burning through you. “We can talk about that when I'm done here.” Daryl's voice is low and raspy, and you can see a reddish color on his neck. “Gotta get this ready ta’ feed the group.”

“Mhmm.” You nod, smiling.

This wasn't how you expected your day to end, with talkings about kids and marriage. But the world ended, and the least you can do is try to be happy. Nothing is easy, nothing is simple, but you want more than just survive. You want to live.

And you want Daryl to be part of that.

This is a personal post, just to help me keep track of stuff while reading through it. But, feel welcome to enlighten me if you have a good answer to one of the questions!

I think Kaido NEEDS to die to finish Wano’s arc. He must go down so the people from Wano can open their borders.

ANSWER: (ONE PIECE #1033) King's a survivor of the Lunaria Tribe, that was extinct. A long time ago, they were called "gods". Apparently, King is super resistant and can survive to any circumstance (???). His wings catch fire, but he hasn't used them to fly until now, just like the skyfolk... (26/11/2021)

11. How are they going to open Wano's borders exactly? They are natural borders.

The reason why it’s so difficult to enter Wano is because of the geography surrounding the country. The island is on top of a mountain accessed by a waterfall that runs down, but the kois run it all the way up. Once you arrive upstairs, there is a whirlpool to drown ships. Even before climbing the mountain, we can see several ships broken apart by the whirlpools.

12. Are we going to see more of the Marines or Govt. in Wano?

Akainu says he’s not going there. But Sengoku planted a good question in his mind. Also, SWORD (X Drake) and CP0 are in Wano, already, apparently to confirm Who’s Who identity and death.

13. Why is Momonosuke's fruit a failure?

The reason why it was left behind in Punk Hazard was because Vegapunk considered it to be a failure. Now, during Wano, the CP0 brought it up again, saying “good it turned out to be a failure”.

14. How far goes Zoro's relation to Wano?

Apparently, Zoro would have a connection to the Shimotsuki family. We know the village Zoro is from is named Shimotsuki Village, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he is a descendant of the Shimotsukis because we have never seen Zoro’s biological parents.

ANSWER: (ONE PIECE #1033) Okay, so I'm happy Zoro is still an orphan with no super important parents that were never mentioned until it became relevant. Kuina's family is a branch of the Shimotsukis. Her grandfather, Kozaburo, forged Enma and left Wano to settle in the East Blue. And then Zoro ended up learning some stuff about swords with him. I loved that!! 😁😁 (26/11/2021)

15. What is Blackbeard after? (Ch. 956)

He says that if the Marine can get their hands on it, he could just take it for himself. I mean, in the translation I read, that’s what he says.

16. And what is his relation to Xebec?

Blackbeard is currently stationed in Hachinosu Island, which used to be the base for the Rocks Pirates. Also, his ship is named The Saber of Xebec.

17. What exactly happened at the God Valley Incident?

38 years ago, the Celestial Dragons and some slaves were at God Valley. To protect them from the Rocks Pirates, Garp and Roger fought together. Apparently, Rocks D. Xebec died during the incident. Also, Big Mom gave Kaidou his devil fruit during the incident.

Why is it not talked about? Why does the WG hide this as well? Why were the Celestial Dragons there? Why did Garp protect them even though he says he doesn’t like them? Why was Roger in the picture as well?

18. And how did it "vanish"?

Apparently, the island disappeared without leaving any trace behind. How did that happen? Who did that?

19. More about SWORD.

Do all SWORD members have an X scar? Does that make Fujitora a SWORD member, perhaps?

20. Where is the Road Poneglyph of Kaido?

So far, Law has found one, but since it doesn’t have the same greyish hue as the first one we see in Zou, it’s not a Road one. Also, Brook has found one poneglyph at Orochi’s Castle at the Flower Capital.

21. WTF did Luffy say that Roger said as well? (Ch.585/Ch.966)

22. Are we going to read anything from Oden's journal at the end of the arc?

I know that, technically, we did during his flashback, but I mean now that Yamato has the journal and gave it to Momo.

23. What did Roger tell Shanks in Lodestar? (Ch.968)

24. Why did he laugh?

25. What's up with this Sun God Nika thing?

Who’s Who says it is a legendary warrior who the slaves believed would free them one day, also that it’s laughs would cure their suffering. Was them made... of rubber?? (03/05/2022)

27. Why did Zunesha come to Wano so suddenly? And Joy Boy is like a title and not the name of a person??

ANSWER: Apparently Zunesha was there to "open the borders" of Wano. How was it gonna do that? We will never know, Momonosuke sent it away. The other question still stands up.

While I think that there is a possibility of it being about the D. name, just like Corazon had something to tell Law, I think he knows way more stuff.

I don’t know, but it looks to me that there is something else there. Corazon reminds of a child talking about a nightmare, which makes sense because he was only a child when he left Mariejois and opposite to his brother, he had no intention to recover his connection to that place. So I feel like, this is not the whole information and we can get a full, more accurate view on this saying from Doflamingo, maybe?

Hi.......Thanks a lot for your blog...I just read a theory.....The theory says if Wei Wuxian's parents survived, he might have turned like Xiao Xingchen. If Wei Wuxian was never found by Jiang family, he might have turned out like Xue Yang and if he was found by an unkind sect leader he might have ended like Jin Guangyao.....Do you agree with this? Thoughts, please?

Oh interesting! I think I may have seen the post you're referring to before though I can't really remember, but these are intriguing takes. Let me go through them one by one:

Would Wei Wuxian have turned out like Xiao Xingchen if his parents had survived?

I want to say no. I feel like a good part of what made Xiao Xingchen extraordinary was that his childhood was spent sequestered away from the Jianghu, but he was curious enough about the world and loved it enough to leave Baoshan Sanren's mountain regardless. He has a certain appreciation for more of the world because he hasn't grown up in it. I don't think Wei Wuxian would have had that distanced upbringing from society were he with Wei Changze and Cangse Sanren. His family might not have been in the middle of things all the time, but they probably would have travelled around enough for Wei Wuxian to see and learn about the Jianghu before he was the age of Xiao Xingchen when he left the mountain. He wouldn't be a newcomer, he'd have more connections and possibly friends, given his personality. Wei Wuxian to me in this scenario would've grown up into a talented rogue cultivator with friends from different sects. I would daresay perhaps he’d have a reputation as large as Xiao Xingchen's, but not his personality or priorities.

Would Wei Wuxian have turned out like Xue Yang if the Jiangs never found him?

Aha, this is fun, and my answer leans closer to ‘yes’. I do kind of see Xue Yang as a darker version of Wei Wuxian who didn’t have the luxuries of home or family, so I’d say that Wei Wuxian would have had the potential to become the likes of Xue Yang. They both have definite resourcefulness and intellect, which they can turn to whatever cause they wish. Xue Yang however was propelled forward a lot by the need for revenge against the Chang clan, while Wei Wuxian didn’t have an experience that would create that kind of motive, at least not one we’re shown. A full life on the streets would toughen him up though, so in this timeline it’s not hard to imagine something else that could make him as bitter and spiteful and more like who Xue Yang ended up as.

Would Wei Wuxian have turned out like Jin Guangyao if he was found by an unkind sect leader?

Hmmm. I don’t think so. In Jin Guangyao’s case the events that pushed him forward had already taken place before he worked for Nie Mingjue- being rejected by his father and kicked down the Jinlintai stairs in humiliation. The whole 3Zun situation isn’t really one I focus on much compared to other people, but I do think that while Nie Mingjue exacerbated Jin Guangyao’s situation and made things worse, he wasn’t the initial cause for it. So Wei Wuxian being taken in by another cruel sect leader shouldn’t make him like Jin Guangyao unless he also had a past from before to mirror him. I can maybe see him holding resentment for the Jiangs here, because they were his parents’ friends and didn’t bother to search for him, but I think these two situations are different enough that he shouldn’t become someone so similar. In general I think Wei Wuxian and Jin Guangyao’s similarities lie more in how people react to them, not their pasts or actions. The way they go about the things they do is also different-- there’s this fantastic post about how Jin Guangyao uses more femme-coded skills to get what he needs, perhaps learned from a childhood in a brothel, while Wei Wuxian regardless of what might happen after he’s found by a different sect leader definitely does not have that background and wouldn’t know to use these things to his advantage.

ALRIGHT I'M THE ANON WHO SENT THE STRIPPER AU SO IM DUMPING ANOTHER AU THAT I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH ONTO YOU (don't ask where it came from lmao)

Basically, quirkless Izuku gets a vibe check early in life when he realizes that his mom is really struggling to survive after his father walked out (no I'm not projecting onto him shut up-). Through middle school he slowly comes to the realization that capitalism sucks actually, especially when you are or are related to someone quirkless.

The sludge villain incident happens relatively as normal, only this time after rescuing Katsuki he fucking snaps at the pro heroes on the scene, then goes home without running into All Might. He does a bunch of research on pro hero scandals, losing that hero fanboy mindset as he goes along, but also does research into vigilantism and pre quirk media, discovering an ancient European pre quirk tale about a figure who robbed the rich and gave it back to the poor and needy.

Now he's on the streets as the vigilante "Robin Hood" who robs corrupt heroes and politicians and then uses that money to preventatively stop crime (donating to homeless shelters, giving it to various community centers for addict recovery programs, etc; he'd also stop any crime he happened to come by on the way to and from heists). He may or may not collect various other teenagers in his band of Merry Men all while Izuku dodges around telling Katsuki what he actually does all day (yes Kaachan's the Maid Marian stand in fight me).

TLDR; Quirkless Izuku becomes the vigilante "Robin Hood" thanks for coming to my TED talk-

quirkless + vigilante midoriya who gave up on the hero system IS my fave trope, i’m not even joking. and this au??? this is just godtier!!

i have a thing for midoriya snapping at the heroes during the sludge villain incident. to set up the mood, i’d like to just unpack that scene for a bit.

ok sure there are many things that probably happened behind the scenes during that incident, such as them calling for more equipped reinforcements to take down the villain, but i think that they should have also done more for bakugou. like at least buy time to ensure he wouldn’t suffocate or, idk, strike a deal with the the sludge villain because their priority shouldn’t have been apprehending him but should have been saving bakugou. so imagine midoriya thinking the same thing i did. the torch he carried for heroes have dwindled over time and this was the breaking point.

imagine him growing up, accepting that sometimes the society just turns its back on you because you’re quirkless. imagine him thinking that there are certain thresholds only the quirked individuals would ever get to cross. imagine him thinking that being a hero really is only for bakugou and not for him. then-

then midoriya sees this powerful and strong individual who he kept looking up to at the hands of the same villain who also almost killed him, choking and panicking because the heroes are not doing anything. he thought that heroes only do nothing when you’re quirkless, but apparently they also do nothing to people like bakugou. bakugou who has a perfect quirk and a smart mind and who’s so so young. bakugou who the heroes aren’t even helping.

and midoriya snaps. he snaps because heroes do nothing to everyone. he thought he was the anomaly because of his pinky toe and everything, but no. the hero system is just fucked up. so as he ran towards bakugou and hurled his bag on the eyes of the villain, he thinks the hero system failed us but i will not. and he thinks i will not be a hero because i do not want to be like them. and he thinks i am here.

and so he saves bakugou and the heroes berate him for-? for what? for doing their jobs? he laughs maniacally and goes off. he spills his anger, spills the way it took a puny, quirkless middle school boy to save the day, and people are watching. people are watching the way he is screaming and opening his heart and pouring and pouring everything he never would have said, and the heroes are silent. they are silent as they listened. all of the them were.

people filmed this exchange, posted the videos they took online and then even more people listened to him. and midoriya sees this huge response and support; he sees the way people agreed with him so it helped him push his plans forward.

and so he does many many research and opens up several cases against slimy heroes and billionaires, and boom, he’s japan’s robin hood.

OK BUT we can’t have vigilante midoriya without dadzawa. LOVE ME SOME DADZAWA. and maybe parental tsukauchi because i love these two just trying to help this little vigilante who is too angry at the world who failed him, but never fighting the world back. they care for their little vigilante who shouldn’t be awake at the crack of dawn, busting out villain groups upon villain groups on his own. they care for their little vigilante who is becoming too popular.

so popular that even villains are looking for him. and maybe there would be an altercation between the LoV and midoriya, and who else would save him if not for dadzawa (and tsukauchi)?

also i’d like to imagine that bakugou too was moved by midoriya’s explosion of a speech. he’s taken aback and goes “huh, he’s right.” so he tries bridging their relationship back and midoriya always loved his friend so he accepts AS LONG AS bakugou does not cross him. because even if the hero system failed midoriya, as long as bakugou, who’s willing to change, still wants to become a hero, then there is hope in changing the hero system from the inside. to reshape it to how it should be.

and so bakugou enters UA and is more open (he’s in therapy) to everyone compared to canon (although not as much, still), and almost has a heart attack when aizawa pulled him aside one day, in the middle of the term, and asked if he knew who robin hood is. of course bakugou’s a master liar so he says no but aizawa is squinting his eyes at him.

also imagine: midoriya recruiting shinsou (they’re apparently from the same help group and they met up one night when midoriya saved shinsou from middle school bullies who cornered him and berated him even if he’s already in UA) and bakugou accidentally recruiting hatsume because she saw that someone changed some of his hero gear and she wanted to meet the smart genius who did it (it’s midoriya).

so midoriya’s circle grew from bakugou to now with the addition of aizawa, tsukauchi, hatsume, and shinsou.

(it probably would expand more because midoriya would stumble on this juicy information about the number 02 hero, endeavour but that’s for next time!)

Imagine being a corrector (someone there to erase mistakes) and witness Iron Man's progress throughout his life to judge him on his final moment.

" And how many people will die from this impressive weapon ?"

You asked and Tony smiled widely at your question, as if he had impatiently expected it.

" Hundreds ! With only one big boom, all of America's enemies will be annihilated !"

Stop smiling, you dirtbag. You are selling this as if it was a party cake. You're going to sell a weapon of massive destruction to the US army that will exterminate hundreds of people in a few seconds with it and you can still look at me dead in the eyes with this repulsive self-absorbed smile..You thought and sighed before looking at the paper in your hand where was written in bold letters.

TONY STARK : SAVE/ERASE?

You looked at him and his stupid smile again, wondering if you should erase his existence. It was your job after all, to erase everything and everyone that may be nocive for the world, or that may end up being a problem..Mistakes could happen of course, but taking a life was always hard, no matter how you looked at it. Now, Tony Stark..He was a difficult case. He was an idiot, there was no doubt in your head about that..but, he also had potential..If given the right opportunity, he could even be great. You decided to take a step back and looked at his file. You could give him a bit of time..You had loads of time to watch him and his every move. You wanted a change. And would spare his life, for now. You stepped back into the shadows and disappeared as Tony Stark entered a nearby black car.

A few years later :

Why ?

Why did you save that idiot ? You ask yourself while watching him snap his fingers. Your wide eyes couldn't believe what they were seeing. You had given this man so many choices and chances..All that for that. What a disappointment..! You sigh before walking towards the now floating soul of Tony Stark, still in his eye-catching red super suit. Typical. He finally notices you and eyes you up and down with an eyebrow raised.

" I thought angels would look a little bit more..feathery ? And less like one of my ex-associates.."

Oh boy..Here it is, the introduction part.

" Hello, Mr Stark. I am Y/N, your corrector, my job consists in making sure that your life hasn't been wasted or meaningless.."

He smiles proudly before answering in a pompous voice that daddy's rich boys usually took when asked the question.

" I didn't waste any of it ! That's for sure !"

You frown before writing something on the file, moron..He was a complete moron. But, you still had a job to do. You force yourself to stay polite and look back at the record in your hands.

" So, Mr Stark.."

" Please, call me Tony."

You ark an eyebrow, but don't linger on the subject and only look at the file in your hands even though you already knew what was written on it. You had to pretend, if only to make him realize how lying wouldn't help him.

" I see here that you don't believe in any particular religion..So, you will have the privilege to choose which god will supervise your transfer to the afterlife..Your judge, if you will ?"

He seems to think for a moment before having an idea and looking back at you with a wide grin.

" I know ! Can I try to go to the Valhalla ?"

You ark an eyebrow again at his surprising answer, but then remember that Thor was a friend of his during his life. He surely wanted to see a familiar face during the trial. Understandable. Maybe he wasn't such an idiot after all ?

You nod understandingly before looking back at the file again.

" As it is procedure, I will ask you a few questions and you'll have to answer them as truthfully as possible, alright ?"

Tony agrees and you start with the first one on the list.

" Okay..So, did you ever experience love in your life ? Did you care about anyone, more than yourself that is ?"

He snorts at that last part before replying sarcastically.

" Nope. Never more than myself. Because I've been raised to look after number 1..However, I would say that Pepper and my girl will always be my first priorities.."

You nod before adding.

" And your father ?"

The question catches him off guard, but he quickly composes himself and seems to hesitate before replying.

" My father and I had a..a very complicated relationship..I admit having hated him for a long time, but now ? I only feel pity.."

You raise an eyebrow at his answer, knowing that he had also admired his father in his youth and felt a certain regret as to not have been able to save him and his mother..But you don't comment on that and only go to the next question.

" Do you think you died a better person than you were at the beginning of your life ?"

He smirks confidently at that question before answering ironically.

" Let me see..I've gone from weapon smuggler to superhero..So, yes. I think I changed. Greatly."

You bite you lip in order not to brutally state him the facts that he's killed more innocents as a superhero than as a weapon smuggler.

" Fine. And finally, are you satisfied with the life you've lived and do you think you deserve to go to the great beyond ?"

He laughs, as if it was some sort of joke and shakes his head before looking up at you.

" I saved the world, isn't that good enough ?"

This is the last straw. You close your book with force, which makes him jump a little as you look at him with your nose scrunched in obvious anger and eyebrows furrowed in clear disappointment.

" You, Tony Stark, are the most selfish blind stupidest man I've ever met ! You really think that all of this is funny ?! Are you really satisfied with the life you've lived or do you really have no idea of the chaos and misery you've created around you ?!"

His mouth is agape in astonishment at your sudden outburst and you decide to show him. You flick your fingers and you both find yourselves in front of a burning city that Tony recognizes as New York..the night when the chitauris attacked.

" I..I don't understand..Why show me this ?"

He asks as his eyes linger on the fire ans the people crying and screaming for help. You smile sadly at his own unawareness..

" Because, Tony, the damage you caused didn't stop when you stopped the bad guy. People died before, during, and after you've fought the bad guy. It takes time to rebuild a city, and human ressources that you seem to have overlooked because, what ? You've send them some money ?!"

Tony brawls his hands into fists, his knuckles turning white and suddenly turns towards you with determination in his eyes.

" I think I did okay !"

He argues, but you only snort mockingly.

" Okay ? OKAY ?! You died, you moron ! You died before you've had the chance to truly do good..The money you've accumulated during all those years ? You were going to give it all to the families of all those who died during all those attacks. You were going to have a child ! You were going to be a wonderful father ! And you gave it all away..The money will now be used by the Shield to create more weapons and destruction ! Your daughter will never grow up to be a hero, because you will not be here to inspire her..And Pepper will be forced to raise her all on her own ! You selfish bastard !"

You yell, not noticing how you get carried away, while pointing an accusative finger at him.

" You could have lived your life ! Happily Ever After ! But no, instead you had to die, leaving a child and your wife behind ! How does that sound, genius ? Does it sound like you did "okay" ?! Now, tell me, before I send you either back to Earth or up there. Tell me why I should let you live ? After you messed up the last chance I gave to you ?"

His breath hitches at your words and he looks at his hands, as if considering what he had done before looking up at you with, what you can only describe as, a feeling of loss.

" I did what I did to save my friends. As far as I know, I didn't waste my life, I saved lives. Those lives were as important as mine, who would I be if I hadn't saved them ?"

You roll your eyes at his hero speech before looking at your datapad. You were only a small gear in the mechanism of Earth's afterlife. You were supposed to bring souls to their final destination..However, there were always tricky situations, like Mr Tony Spark. He had been good, there was no doubt about that, but he had also been awful..Damn awful judging by his long list of infractions and lives sacrificed..You sigh before looking up at him in silent contemplation, wondering what you should do with this one..? Suddenly, an idea pops up in your mind and you smile before advancing towards him and extending your hand.

" How about you come and work for me as a way to get your redemption and reunite with your wife and child ? My work may be tedious, but you'll soon come to find that it had its perks..Of course, you'll still have to get the approval of god you chose..but I don't think he'll deny it. A few years as a corrector, and you'll be able to go to the other side, how does that sound ?"

He looks at your extended hand, and then at you before asking something that you had not thought about.

" Please, could you bring me to Asgard ? Just to say goodbye to an old friend ?"

You sigh loudly, of course he would want to see Thor..He would surely ask the god to save him, try to make him pass without any setbacks. But, who were you to deny a soul its last wish ? You flick your fingers and appear at Asgard. Obviously, you couldn't bring him to a place that didn't exist anymore and not right after his death, this is why you had decided to appear just before its destruction..When Loki was in charge..However, unlike what you had previously thought, Tony doesn't seem lost and walks towards the royal hall with alarming confidence. You tag along and soon find yourself in the throne room with Odin (aka Loki) staring at you with a hint of surprise, but still remaining in character.

" What are you doing here, mortals ?!"

He booms and you sigh, another brilliant idea, as always..Loki would surely report you to the High Council and it would be finished of your career. You try to say something, maybe something to keep you both from being shifted into nothingness..But Tony steps towards him and, to the greatest astonishment of Loki and you, embraces him.

" You've done good, son..You've done good.."

Suddenly, as if the both of them had had a silent conversation, Loki wraps his arms around Tony and starts crying against his shoulder.

" I can feel it..You're gone, aren't you ?"

He asks with grief in his voice and you are too shocked to answer..even Loki, the god of Mischief, the bad god as some would call him, was crying for this mere human..You didn't understand why ? Why would he tear up over his death ? A mortal that he hates..The notion was incomprehensible for you and Loki seems to notice and straightens up to look at you.

" I assume he chose Thor as a judge ? Unfortunately, my brother is out of Asgard at the moment.."

Before he could continue, Tony shakes his head negatively before looking back at you with a slight smile.

" No. I've chosen you, reindeer game."

Loki's eyes widen significantly and he repeats, visibly as dumbfounded as you are.

" M..Me ? But..But why ?"

You couldn't have asked it better, why did he choose him ?! Out of everyone else ?! You grab Tony and put on a wide fake smile for Loki.

" I'm sorry, but I must discuss with him for a moment. We'll be back soon, I promise."

You then proceed to drag Tony out of the throne room and, as soon as you are sure to be out of reach, lose your smile to look angrily at Tony.

" Are you mad ?! You could have chosen Thor and go on your merry way to Valhalla, Paradise or whatever..But nooooo, you had to choose the god that despises you the most !"

Tony doesn't seem that worried and only shrugs with a confident smile.

" I know..Loki is the first one to be chosen, ever. He wasn't the one that was supposed to be king, he always got left behind and never got any chance to prove that he could be better..Maybe, for once, he could be my first choice ?"

You open your eyes wide and want to face-palm yourself so hard..Damn heroes and their moral codes !

" It's not about his redemption ! It's about yours !"

He nods, keeping his wide smug smile and replies nonchalantly.

" I know..This is why I chose him. If even him can forgive me, then I'll know that I definitely deserve to go to..whatever is best after.."

You gape at his answer, but finally sigh in defeat. You couldn't make him reconsider, you know that..He was the most stubborn man that you had ever worked with..You drag him back inside and look up at Loki defiantly and warn him, to his utter astonishment.

" Okay, I know now that I can't change my client's mind..But, I can assure you that if you try to sabotage his only chance to go to the great beyond, I'll personally take care of your case when the time comes..Understood ?!"

Loki's eyes glance at Tony then at you, all malice out of his eyes as he nods in agreement.

" I may not be fond of the Avengers, but I know better than to mess with you people..You are not merely humans and even though we were on opposite sides, I still value the life of the human beside you, as a warrior and the worthy opponent that he is.."

" Aww..Love you too, Reindeer !"

You glare at Tony to shut him up as he only smiles smugly at you. Damn Stark..You extend your hand towards the king, aware of the procedure, he takes your arm and looks directly in your eyes.

" Do you promise to be impartial and to not speak of this trial to any living beings as long as you will inhabit the land of the living ?"

" I promise."

He answers solemnly and takes back his appearance, as he was supposed to judge as Loki, not Odin. He then looks at the coin that had appeared in his hand, either he would give it back to you with heads, and Tony's soul would be saved..or tails, and his soul would be lost forever. You take a big breath before beginning the trial.

" We will start with the beginning. Tony Stark is a selfish egocentric man who did spent most of his life searching for recognition, money and fame.."

Loki and Tony both open their eyes wide, not expecting you to be so hard from the start.

" Hum..Aren't you supposed to be my lawyer ? You're supposed to be on my side, remember ?"

Tony asks, a hint of worry in his voice, but you narrow your eyes at him and respond in all seriousness.

" I am not your lawyer, Mr Stark. I'm a corrector. I am supposed to tell the truth and not hide anything from the judge..Now, is any of the things I just said wrong ?"

He gulps loudly and lets out a defeated sigh, looking at the floor and shaking his head.

" No. You're right.."

Your expression softens, at least he had the decency to admit it..

" However, he has proven on multiple occasions that he was a particularly good man that inspired many that will do good in the future. And, became a very good father figure for Peter Parker that will accomplish great things in the future..I have seen a lot of men change in my career, for better or for worse..But none of them were as impressive as the one of Tony Stark that came from being only an average man to a hero that will inspire millions in the future.."

Tony's eyes widen as you start showing holograms of moments of his life in the air, showing every moment of his life to Loki. The god looks and listens attentively as he plays with the coin in his hand, toying with Tony's soul. However, he seems to take it seriously and looks at each moment with great interest. You are more than happy to answer every question he asks and add.

" I must confess that Tony Stark was and is an incredible man that devoted his life to helping others..even if sometimes he was lost or misguided..He always had the best intentions at heart..You, of all people, should know what the fear of failure feels like.."

You try to appeal to his own history for him to feel pity for Tony, but the god of Mischief knows when someone is trying to play with his feelings and only asks with a small tremor in his voice that sounds like a reproach.

" However, Tony never had any beliefs. His only god is money and that he spent on very trivial things..Plus, he had the audacity to think himself a god, Zeus above his friends that he also considered above anyone else..Why should he get to spend his life in bliss when all he ever did was to mock anyone around him and have very big illusions of grandeur !"

You bite your lower lip, you couldn't say that what he was saying is wrong..However..

" However, he never used his money for destruction, he always had the greater good in mind when using it. He also made sure that Peter Parker don't focus on money to accomplish his goals.."

Loki only laughs before searching for one of his memories and projecting it for everyone to see..It was the man. The man that had helped him build his first suit and that had died, even though Tony had promised to save him..

" You tell me about his accomplishments..but what about his failures ? He sacrificed that man. He made a promise and broke it. How are you going to justify that ?"

You clench your jaw in obvious frustration, knowing that Loki was provoking you. Even if he had no grudge against Tony, he still had the ego the size of the Empire State building and more..He wouldn't let go so easily. You glance at Tony that is looking at the short movie of his life with tears in his eyes..He had surely forgotten about him, or he hadn't ? You couldn't tell..

" That man tried to save Tony..It is not his fault if he died while doing so. He saved many like him afterwards and never asked for anything in return..He always thought that the security of his friends and family was above everything else."

Loki stands up at your reply in disagreement and grits his teeths before reaching for another memory.

" Are you sure about that ?"

You frown at his question before you see the moment he had invented Ultron..

" He created that knowledge monster and, even with the green man's warnings, didn't listen to what was safest..Now, do you think he really always had the purest intentions at heart ?"

He is one tough cookie, you'd give him that..You search in Tony's memories to get the vision he had when Wanda manipulated his mind and show his worse nightmare, the Avengers all dead.

" This, this is his worst nightmare. You have to admit that it is proof of the value of his comrades to his eyes..like Asgardians, he fought side by side with his friends and would have died for them..as he did."

However, Loki doesn't back down and finally yells in frustration.

" HE HELPED MY BROTHER TO PLOT MY DEMISE !"

You ark and eyebrow at that before replying, your arms crossed.

" Well..I don't see how's that of any relevance to him being a bad man.."

Flabbergasted by your words, he stares at you with tears in his eyes before sitting back down, visibly shocked at your answer. But, you know that he is thinking about it..You smile and look up at him to announce.

" This is why, I ask you to welcome Tony Stark to the great beyond, or at least let him work his way there !"

At your words, his eyes flash at you with a certain interest.

" Go on.."

Your smile widens. You know that Loki would not let Tony enter if he hadn't been trained before.

" Make him a corrector. Allow him to correct his mistakes and apologize to all those he wronged.."

Loki seems to consider it for a moment and, finally nods.

" I'll allow it, however, I'll also accept him in Valhalla directly.."

You raise your eyebrows in surprise at his sudden act of mercy..but you quickly understand when he adds with a small smirk.

"..If Tony accepts to kneel in front of me."

You close your eyes, knowing already the reaction of Tony that doesn't waste any time voicing his disagreement.

" Dream on, goat head !"

You sigh loudly, pinching the bridge of your nose and turning towards Tony that still had his mouth wide open, ready to protest. You want to intervene, but Loki does it for you as he suddenly stands up again and grits his teeths at Tony before ordering.

" Kneel ! Or you can say goodbye to your soul !"

You open your eyes wide in fear as he starts crackling the coin in his palm. You turn towards Tony that feels as if he was being crushed himself. You then look back at Loki before yelling at him.

" The trial is not over, your Highness ! You have no right..!"

He glares murderously at you before cutting you short by laughing maniacally.

" That's where you're wrong ! I have every right !"

You look between the two men with panic seizing your whole being before sighing and getting out a lasso. You use it to grab Loki's arm and yank him on the floor, letting go of the coin by the same occasion that starts rolling before stooping just in front of you. You take it in your hand and Loki looks up at you with his jaw clenched and eyes red with fury. However, you don't let yourself be intimidated and take him by the collar to drag him back to his throne.

" You'll regret this.."

He whispers in your ear and you only laugh at his threat before tying him up to the throne.

" There are many things that I fear in this world..But, prince Loki, you aren't one of them.."

You can feel him tense at your words, but still put back the coin in his hand with a small smile.

" Now..I know that my existence is a mistake and that your huge ego can't handle the fact that a mere woman is keeping you still..But, there is no reason for you to deny Tony his afterlife. You said it yourself, he was a worthy opponent and never wielded, even once. He is prideful, a recognition seeker and a liar..But he is also the Iron Man, the man of steel who defeated far more powerful beings than you..I didn't tell you how he died, but I think I should.."

You suddenly turn around and extend your arms to show two things..One is the day Tony died, and the other..when Loki did.

He looks at the images with wide eyes and, even after seeing it over and over, can't believe it..He had died. And Tony had avenged him. He almost laughs at his choice of word: avenge. He looks up at Tony with a new-found respect and Tony doesn't shy away from his gaze that he meets with determination. Loki then glances at the coin in his hand before throwing it at you..it lands on tails and you smile widely at Loki that nods in affirmation.

" I'll allow it..I'll allow him to enter by the doors of Valhalla to the other side. However, as agreed, Tony Stark will have to serve as a corrector for as long as it takes for him to understand the true repercussions of his mistakes, it means until I allow him to pass..Are we clear ?"

He looks down at you intently and you nod vehemently, happy to have saved his soul. Tony himself can't seem to believe it and looks shocked as he looks at you. You can't help but smile widely at him and he reciprocates. You then turn towards Loki and, to his surprise, bow down to him.

" Thank you, your Highness."

He then coughs loudly, making your head shoot up and realize that he was still..well, attached. You blush widely before clapping your hands and the magical lasso loosens to get back around your waist. Loki stares intensely at you and you feel cold sweat rolling down your back. You swiftly turn around to grab Tony and get out of the throne room, too afraid that he would ask for your name and report you to the High Council..When you're far enough, Tony suddenly takes you in his arms and twirls you around to your surprise.

" We did it ! I'll be able to see my wife and kid again ! Thank you so much !"

You can't help but giggle as he spins you around and when he finally puts you down, he frowns, his brain working full on as he seems to realize something.

" You helped me and were so angry at the fact that I had wasted my time..even though you now seem so happy that I made it..Who are you, really ?"

You let out a small sad smile as you look back at him with your eyes filled with tears. You should have known he would guess it eventually..

" I love you 3000.."

You finally mutter and his eyes widen as he understands and his own eyes prickle with tears as he gently runs his hand against your cheek.

" You're..?"

You nod and take a step back to smile at him through your tears.

" It was nice to meet you, dad."

He tries to hold back his tears before taking you in his arms.

" You've grown so much..How..How are you here ? You're not dead, are you ?!"

He asks worriedly, looking at you as if for the first time and you chuckle at his fatherly concern.

" No, Dad..I became a corrector because I wanted to meet you..Some are humans. I asked uncle Thor to make me one."

He nods, and then remembers that you have access to all of his memories..For the first time today, Tony Stark feels a pang of guilt in his chest.

" You must have felt ashamed of your old man, huh ?"

He asks and you smile kindly at him before answering him truthfully.

" I must admit that multiple times, I asked myself if it was good for the rest of humanity to let you live..that I wasn't being selfish in wanting to save you, but, at the end, I knew that you would become a great man..And, you did."

He smiles proudly at you before kissing your forehead lovingly.

" I'm sorry for not being there, sweetheart..I really am."

You shake your head and wipe your tears before answering him with a hopeful smile.

" It's okay..At least, I'll be able to spend time with you, until your final departure at least.."

He smiles at you, understanding now why you wanted him to become a corrector so bad and takes you in his arms again.

" That's my daughter. Scheming plans to spend time with the old man..Stark material, I tell you."

You can't help but snort at his comment while tightening your grip on him and finally closing your eyes in contempt.

" I love you 3000, dad.."

You feel his lips etch into a smile against your skin as he answers back.

" I love you 3000 too, kiddo.."

Pyre/Greedling Meta:

I remember in the earlier volumes that a fair amount of people in the FNDM would compare Cinder to Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist, due to her femme fatale persona and voice seeming like an impression of Laura Bailey's Lust.

But as we learn more about Cinder and meet Salem in vol4, it's very clear that the version of herself she likes to present herself as is meant to come across as an impression, an imitation. Because she's trying to imitate Salem, the person who defines what power is to her.

And as that facade crumbles and we slowly start to see how deep Cinder's desires really run, it's far more clear to me that her character and story have much more in common with Greed, not Lust.

Greed is the only homunculi who is willing to follow his deepest desires to the fullest, regardless of where that placed him. He was certainly willing to do evil, but wouldn't if that evil didn't personally benefit him. And, over time within the series, Greed comes to realise that his obsession with power, glory and seeking to become God, were nothing more than vain attempts to cover up his true emotional emptiness caused by a lack of connecting to others. And once he finds a cause and people to support who help and support him in turn, his character arc finishes with him, Greed, looking on all that he has, his friends, and is grateful. Content.

Which ties into the lesson of the Fall Maiden in the Tale of the Four Maidens in which Fall begs the Hermit to look around at all he has and be thankful. To be satisfied and content with oneself, which is a lesson Cinder has to learn in order to truly become a Fall Maiden.

Greed's desires are similar to Cinder's own ambition for power driven by her fear and insecurities, seeking to become a "godlike maiden badass" wanting to fill the emptiness and craving she feels, not yet realizing that this will not be what brings her true satisfaction to her, well, greed.

"Greed may not be good, but it's not so bad either. You humans think greed is just for money and power! But everyone wants something they don't have"

"You Atlas elites are all the same! You think hoarding power means you'll have it forever. But it just makes the rest of us hungrier! And I refuse to starve"."

I think it's very important to point out that Greed doesn't become good or redeem himself because he sees the error of his ways and wants to atone for the things he's done, rather he starts on the path to redemption by refusing to be a pawn to Father any longer, when realizing the power and glory he craves he wouldn't be able to obtain by staying and working underneath Father like the rest. His greed and dissatisfaction are what motivates him, though it is ultimately Ling who gives him the final push and convinces him to side with the protagonists.

And Cinder at the end of vol7 seems to be heading towards a crossroads of whether or not she'll stay with Salem, given how the Grimm arm that was "gifted" to her by Salem seems to be slowly consuming her body, she might have doubts about whether the kind of power Salem has promised her is really the kind of power she wants, and whether she's prepared to sacrifice herself to obtain it, or whether she could choose to strike out on her own. Again, some villains start on the path to redemption solely out of self interest.

It's also not just Greed's story I think Cinder's is remarkably similar to, but the stories of Ling and Pyrrha and the role they play in Greed and Cinder's stories, as their souls and stories are intrinsically intertwined.

The ouroboros tattoo and its meaning was the first thing that caught my attention, as it the ouroboros symbol represents eternal cyclical renewal. Of life, death and rebirth. And how that aligns with Pyrrha's incantation used to unlock Jaune's aura:

"For it is in passing we achieve immortality. Through this we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all. Infinite in distance and unbound by death, I release your soul, and by my shoulder, protect thee"

Cinder also has a tattoo of her own symbol that appears after connecting to Amber's soul and taking half of her power, just like the ouroboros tattoo appearing after Greed and Ling's souls were intertwined and he had taken over his body. Cinder takes the other half of the maiden powers after Pyrrha had been bound to them as her and Amber's aura were intertwined, making it likely that Pyrrha is a part of Cinder in the same way Greed and Ling are.

Both Pyrrha and Ling are considered to be people in positions of power and prestige with great expectations placed on them that they intend to live up to. Ling as an Xingese prince, Pyrrha as a world renowned champion fighter and promising huntresses, the "invincible girl". Both agree to becoming a maiden/homuculus respectively, despite the inhumane means of doing so and risk to their body, soul and life, as they believe obtaining this power will help their people.

"We can't transfer Amber's power to you but we can give you what those powers are bound to."

"Her aura"

"Her life... would become intertwined with yours. The question is-"

"What's that gonna do to you?" - (RWBY Volume 3 Chapter 6)

Greed and Cinder's stories are body horror stories about what you'll sacrifice for power, and the power they are "gifted" by their masters, Father and Salem, is concentrated in their left arm.

Interestingly, Greed's power that transforms him into an inhuman monster is his "Ultimate Shield" that makes him invulnerable, which is the exact opposite of the "power" that Salem grants Cinder that slowly crawls up her left arm threatening to turn her into a monster makes her more vulnerable than most, because she doesn't have aura to protect those parts of her.

Both Greed and Cinder are the most defiant of their masters wishes, and often Father and Salem experience losses and failures because they underestimated Greed and Cinder's ambition. What should have been an easy win at Haven for Salem failed because Cinder was overly ambitious in her need to to win, to feel powerful, and Greed's betrayal of Father is simply because his own ambition is greater than his, thus he would never be content to work underneath him, to be less than him.

Both are charismatic individuals and good at convincing others to work with them. They like to surround themselves with others and both are the only ones under Father/Salem to have their own subordinates (Wrath doesn't count since it was always Father's intention to have him become Fuhrer). Despite them clearly needing human connection, their relationship with their loyal subordinates we are introduced to alongside them is... Not Super Great. They might care about them to a certain degree, but at the end of the day they ultimately view them as useful tools and possessions.

Both of them speak of an emptiness they feel inside of them:

"All of these souls inside of me, and yet I still feel so... empty"

"It's... an emptiness. It burns. Like a hunger."

It's ultimately Ling thst acts as Greed's consciousness, as when he doesn't show any remorse over killing Bido, the last of the old Greed's followers, on the orders of Father, Ling is the one who drags out all of his repressed emotion, being able to feel his pain and see his memories, he forces Greed to face them and how terribly he treated his "friends", and to reevaluate his priorities and self, pushing him away from Father.

"It's nothing personal. I'm just doing my job. I am sorry, honestly!"

"What have you done, Greed? Are you determined to prove you're a monster? What kind of sick creature... would kill his own friend!?"

"He wasn't my... friend..."

"Then why do you remember him? And are you gonna try and tell me Bido was just making everything up?"

"Those were the last Greed's memories! They're not mine!"

"THEN WHY ARE YOU IN SO MUCH PAIN!?

Pull yourself together, Greed. I'm warning you. I'll take this body back if you drop your guard"

"They aren't mine... Father purified me and purged the old Greed's memories. Those memories aren't a part of me any more!"

"No! You're wrong Greed! It's not that easy! They'll always be a part of you! You can't just erase them from your soul! They were the only part of you that you chose!"

"Look at them! Can you not hear their souls crying out? You abandoned them. Your real family! You threw them away like trash!"

"Fool. If you turned your back on something you wanted, YOU DON'T DESERVE TO CALL YOURSELF GREED!" (Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood episode 44, Greed and Ling)

If Pyrrha were to return, it's likely she would manifest and communicate more directly with Cinder than maiden predecessors usually do (though in all fairness we don't know the details of if maiden predecessors do or not), being more similar to Ozpin and Oscar's situation, rather than just being a part of her soul, because of how unnatural her interference with the fall maiden's power transfer was. The way Ozpin looks and speaks about it makes it clear he knows there is a very good chance he was recreating his own curse the GoL bestowed on him, and that this isn't like when he was the Hermit, giving his magic happily to the Maidens.

There's also the parallels between Ozma and Pyrrha's situations too, and how readily they accept their mission and fate, and in how they die, and I believe we still haven't seen the full payoff to those parallels with Pyrrha.

When Ozma reincarnates the first time, it's implied that he completely overtakes Ozma 2.0/ Oisín/Diggs (why do we have so many names for him), having not yet learned how to live with the souls with which he had been paired. It's not until much, much later when Oz is beginning to have doubts about whether he should stay with Salem , but still continues to go along with her plans that Oisín makes himself known, (and we know Ozma isn't used to him communicating with him with how suprised and shaken he is by this, which is strange considering he's been paired with him for a long while, unless Oisín hadn't made himself known before this) and is the one who finally pushes Ozma to leave Salem.

"What are we doing?"

With Cinder returning to Salem's side, full of doubt of whether she can go through with Salem's plan for her, to hurt and destroy herself for this power, and Emerald and Mecury (probably Neo too) likely betraying and cutting ties with Cinder too, which is going to leave her full of even more doubt, hurt, anger and additional feelings of betrayal and confusion. And more than anything, alone. Which would be the ideal time for Pyrrha to say to Cinder like with Ozma, "What are we doing?" To push her to reevaluate her priorities and self.

Imagine Pyrrha finally being able to manifest or communicate with Cinder, realizing she's bound to the woman who killed her. Knowing her emotions and memories in their entirety, feeling her pain and anger as if it were her own. And Ruby describing her as "Pyrrha thought that if there was even the smallest chance of helping someone that it was a chance worth taking" the Pyrrha who told Jaune "Everyone needs a little help sometimes" understanding what Cinder went through, and that if she couldn't save the world or make it better by attempting to kill Cinder, then, maybe as she is now, the one thing she can do to help save the world, to make it a better place, is by helping Cinder be better, helping her use her talents for good, like a true maiden should? (On a more fun note, imagining Pyrrha deciding to help Cinder but not missing any opportunity to be a playfully snarky little shit towards her. Because what is Cinder gonna do? Kill her again? Like tell me Pyrrha would not Do Both. And Cinder's not sure which she hates more: Pyrrha teasing her or feeling sorry for her)

Another interesting thing is how in The World of RWBY: The Official Companion states that Salem's goal is to possess all four relics, and to absorb the power of all the Maidens, which she means to at some point, absorb Cinder's power. It's likely part of why she favours Cinder and has such an intimate relationship with her (the Relic of Choice might have played a role in why Salem chose Cinder specifically) That transition of maiden powers from Cinder to Salem would be made much more seamless for Salem if she was grooming Cinder to be more like her, and was slowly becoming more Grimm, if she was treating Cinder like an extension of herself, because to Salem, she would be. Which is again, similar to Father and Greed, as Greed literally was an extension of Father created from him, and absorbed back into him when he became too disobedient and remade and reborn again.

The finale of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood has Father absorbing Greed's philosopher's stone in an attempt to claim his power, but Greed ends up sacrificing himself by inverting his Ultimate Shield inside of Father, making his whole body incredibly fragile and vulnerable so Ed is able to defeat him. In the end, Greed ends up being the key to their victory against Father.

I want to make it clear that I don't personally think RWBY will end with Cinder dying or "defeating" Salem. At least, not in the traditional sense. I can draw as many comparisons as I like between Greed and Cinder but at the end of the day they're two different stories with different themes. And I don't believe that kind of ending would align with RWBY's. One of the themes of Cinder's story is to find a way to keep living no matter what. And as for Salem, the only way she can "die" is to learn the value of life and death, which would require a much more different approach.

But either way, I do believe Cinder will end up being their key to victory one way or another, similar to Greed.
