Hey. Heads up to people who don't understand ace:
When someone tells you they're ace or you know they're ace, please--for the love of all that is good in this world--STOP telling that person in ANY way that their chances of finding someone is slim to none.
I'm so tired of hearing this. SO damn tired. Even if you think you said it in a lighthearted, funny manner--it doesn't matter. Sometimes that shit still stings.
Me and my fellow aces shouldn't have to be sexual to make anybody happy. The end.

Paper Thin
Another notebook drabble! Another dumb one folks!
Find it on AO3 here!
Reki snorted as Langa dropped his head on his desk, sending his phone tumbling among the books on which it was propped. He had fallen out of view, Reki’s screen going black as Langa’s phone landed flat against his desk, but Reki still choked on his laughter.
“Dude! How the hell did you get 74? The answer is 8!”
Through his earphones, Reki could hear Langa groan. He could hear Langa’s shuffling, his voice coming through muffled and distant. And thick in his tone came that annoyance. He sounded so close to giving up completely.
“I don’t know. I… I just suck at this.”
“I can’t believe you’re this bad at math, dude. It’s not even that complicated!” Reki chuckled as Langa came back in view on his screen, a cold glare pointed in his direction. “Alright, fine, show me again how-” Reki paused, glancing around his desk for a moment. Langa raised an eyebrow, a pen lodged between his teeth, but Reki didn’t elaborate. He had felt a shift in the air; he knew something was suddenly off. “Imma call you back in an hour, man.”
Before Langa could say anything, Reki disconnected the call and spun on his chair to face his door. There stood Koyomi, completely still, just staring at him.
“Can… I help you?”
She stared, big eyes and all, but still, no movement. Not a single muscle twitched as she stood there, no answer coming, just unnerving staring.
“Komi,” Reki narrowed his eyes onto his sister, his voice a little sharper than the first time he addressed her, “if you’re just gonna stand there, then go away. I’m kinda busy doing homework.”
The girl snorted, finally coming back to life, rocking back and forth on her heels. “As if you do homework.”
Reki shouted in offense as Koyomi made her way into his room and dropped her body onto his bed.
“Sure,” Reki rolled his eyes, sounding a lot more exasperated than usual, “just come on in. Not like I just told you I was busy.”
“You’re just using schoolwork as an excuse to talk to your boyfriend.”
Koyomi yelped as Reki threw his eraser at her.
“He’s not my boyfriend!” There was a pause. “Stop assuming I’m gay!”
“Oh my god, I didn’t even say anything!” She threw his eraser back at him, hitting him in the shoulder. “I never said you were gay, dumbass! I just said you can’t get enough of your stupid boyfriend!”
Reki felt his cheeks flare up as Koyomi said ‘boyfriend,’ every syllable well pronounced. He felt the burn in his face as she rolled her eyes, pulling her legs up onto his bed and getting comfortable among his blankets.
“He’s not my boyfriend!”
“‘He’s not my boyfriend,’” she mocked, a poor imitation of her brother. “Sure. That’s why he sneaks through your window like every other night!”
“He doesn’t-! Wait, how do you know about that?”
Reki’s leg began to bounce worse than usual as Koyomi checked her nails, seeming far too cool for it to be natural.
“My room is right next to yours, idiot. I hear everything.”
As quickly as the heat and color had risen to Reki’s face, it drained out, cold dread drenching him. What had Koyomi heard exactly? They hadn’t done anything wrong except their occasional fits of laughter as they bundled up under the covers, but still, Reki felt paranoid. Paranoid about nothing since Langa wasn’t his boyfriend, but paranoia nonetheless. What if she knew about S? What if she knew about his sneaking out every Friday night?
“What do you want from me?”
Koyomi looked up at him, big doe eyes that gave her anything but a look of innocence. “Do I have to want something from you? Can’t I just come see my big brother because I love him?”
“No.”
She sighed. “Yeah, even I didn’t believe me.”
“So,” Reki grabbed a piece of scrap paper which he crumpled up before throwing it at her. Miraculously, Koyomi managed to catch it before it hit her in the face. “What do you want from me?”
“I’m bored. Come play Mario Kart with me.”
Reki blinked at the grinning girl. “You…” He inhaled sharply before pointing his door. “Out. Get out!”
Koyomi’s fingers tightened around Reki’s blanket as she stared at him straight in the face. “No! Entertain me!”
“I’m not your personal clown!”
“I’m telling mom about Langa then!”
“You wouldn’t dare!”
“I’ll tell her how you keep me up all night with your gross lovey-dovey whispering!”
Reki almost pounced on the girl. He felt his face burn again. He felt everything flare up inside of him. He felt it all as his grip in his chair tightened.
“There’s no lovey whispering! There’s none of any of that! So cut it out! S’not like he even likes me anyway!”
Koyomi faked a gag before shooting her brother a glare. “You’re so gross with your dumb crushes.”
Reki sighed. He couldn’t stand it anymore. It was just too much. He was giving up, both hands in his face as he let his head hang back over the back of his chair. He was growing so frustrated with Koyomi and her endless pestering. He was growing so frustrated with her, but what frustrated him most was the confusing feeling that came with liking guys – liking Langa! – and not knowing what to do with these growing feelings. And as much as he would have liked to talk about the weirdness of it all, let it out somehow, there was no way he was discussing his feelings with his little sister of all people.
“Just… get out of my room.”
He didn’t need to sit up to know that Koyomi was sliding off of his bed and making her way out. Much like everyone else in the house, she wasn’t particularly quiet when she moved. She could be if so desired, but most of the time, no one bothered to conceal their noise. But when the sound of footsteps ceased, Reki straightened out on his chair and faced his little sister. All traces of their previous argument had faded from her face; she had fallen back into her usual calm but slightly annoyed self.
“Can you at least help me beat a boss battle after dinner? I’ve been trying for like three days now and I can’t do it.”
Reki sighed, but still, he nodded. “I’ll help you when I’ll be done with my homework.”
Koyomi ginned as she chimed a ‘thank you.’ Despite their constant bickering and yelling at one another, they never stayed mad at each other. It was a magical power possessed by siblings, perhaps.
“And, for what it’s worth,” Reki swiveled his chair to face his sister who was standing halfway out the door, half-turned away from him as her eyes locked with his, “Langa would be missing out since you’re pretty awesome. He’d be lucky to land someone like you.”
Laughter, perhaps a little nervous above all, broke from Reki’s lips as he chucked another paper ball at Koyomi.
“Get out of here, you brat.”
Koyomi huffed as she caught the crumpled paper with just as much ease as the first one. And she clenched her jaw as she threw it back with as much force as she could, nailing Reki right in the face.
“I take it back. You’re insufferable and I hate you.”
Reki stuck his tongue out as Koyomi huffed again and stomped away. But as soon as she was out of his sight, Reki burst into laughter. And down the hall, muffled by the walls that separated the two, he heard Koyomi laughing as well. Because no matter what was said, no matter how much they screamed at each other, no matter how much they insulted one another, they knew that deep down, they did love each other. They knew that no matter what happened, they could go to the other. Because in the end, nothing could come between them and their endless bickering.

The Smell of Plum Blossom Tea Ch 13
Summary: Just like a butterfly wing, a single act of kindness can change the course of the future, it certainly did for MK as a black furred monkey put out a hand towards him.
Rating: Teen and up
Chapter 13: The Apocalypse (But with More Bulls)
A group of children huddled together as they tried to escape the robotic drones that surrounded them in the ice cream shop. The streets were no longer safe as they had been filled with roaming Bull drones and they ripped and tore no matter what or who stood in their way. They hoped that they would be able to wait it out until help arrived, but they didn’t count on the drones coming into the building and finding them.
“AHHHHH!” They all screamed as the bulls began to leap at them.
SMASH! BASH! CRASH!
Their eyes widened as they saw the machines falling to the ground in bits and pieces until there was nothing left except for an ominous violet figure before them.
“S-s-stay away!” One of the older children nervously warned as she stood in front of them with her arms stretched out.
“Dude, he-she-they just saved our butts,” another child put a hand on her shoulder, “I think they are one of the good guys.”
“We don’t know that!” She argued.
“I mean, they are standing right there and haven’t attacked us yet sooo,” a younger girl pointed out. “Point in the good guy direction.”
“That doesn’t mean-”
“Wait, I know him!” They all snapped their heads to the youngest in their group as he ran up to the figure.
“Bao!”
“Wait!”
“Are you crazy?!”
“MAC MAC!” He grinned as he threw his body to him, “I am so happy you are here!”
The monkey said nothing as he caught the child and gently patted the child's head.
“Sooo, Imma go out on a limb here and say he's good,” said the girl with the prosthetic arm. She happily smirked at their groans.
“Oh yeah, he is my sister's former teacher, though I don’t think I've ever seen you like this,” he pondered.
“Clone,” the demon uttered.
“Clone?”
“Follow me,” he instead said as he walked to the door, “I’ll take you where it’s safe.”
“Really?”
“Awesome!”
“That’s a relief.”
“Can I bring some ice cream?”
The children all chatter with a bit more pep in their step as they trudge through the war torn streets and fallen buildings until they laid eyes on a set of buildings that looked relatively untouched by the madness surrounding them with a pristine white hospital building in the middle of it all. Some people were littered around the street, but when they stepped into the hospital it was a lot more hectic as not only doctors and nurses were bustling around trying to tend to as many wounded as they could. But there were also regular people trying to give a helping hand as they either did basic first aid to those who needed it or helped the staff collect the supplies they needed.
“Whoa,” they all collectively gape at the semi organized chaos inside.
“Bao!” The child looks to see Bohai's relieved expression, “thank the gods you and your friends are okay.”
“Mac Mac saved us,” he wiggled out of the monkey arms to get a hug from the jellyfish demon then he looked around the room. “Where’s Yanyu? Is she okay?”
“She’s fine, she was working when this all went down, so she is currently in the back taking care of a bunch of patients. Are you all alright?”
“Just scrapes and bruises,” one of the girls says as she covers the mouth of the one armed girl. “You are not making another missing arm joke, you hear me.”
“Fine,” she huffed then she grinned mischievously as she looked at Bohai, “so do you guys need a hand, I can only spare you one though.”
“For the love of-!”
“Stoppp!”
“Nooo!”
“Don’t tell me what to do,” she laughed at the agony.
“If you want to bring the staff some snacks and drinks, and yes I’m including everyone in this list, that would be awesome. They really need to pick me up right now,” he showed them to a small area where copious amounts of food and drinks were laid out. “People have been bribing them since this all started, but no one really had a break yet.”
“You can count on us!” The oldest girl saluted as she and the rest gathered snacks in their arms and began to spread out all through the hospital, except for Bao who was still holding onto the jellyfish. Even the clone Macaque had left had begun to venture through the hospital and began to help out a few patients.
“…is everyone else alright,” he whispered out in hesitation.
Bohai kneeled down and smiled, “I think they will be just fine, your brothers and sisters are smart after all. I know they will pull through.”
“Right,” he nodded and shared a grin.
“And we have people and demons looking for anyone who needs help,” that included his friends on the list as Daiyu took to the skies and over the seas, Minsheng and Ahmed took to the streets looking for stragglers, and Macaque leaping from building to building checking to see if there are any lingering people trapped inside. “So don’t worry about them, instead how about we focus on feeding some hungry people. I know how cranky they can get when their bellies are empty.”
“Like Yan Yan when she forgot to eat because she had a 30 hour shift and she tied us all up when we mentioned her leftover food in the fridge.”
“Exactly.”
“How does this keep happening to us!” Mei yelled out as she and MK were hanging onto the sword for dear life as they dangled above the pit of despair.
“I don’t know!” MK yelled too as he clung onto Mei’s legs. “How do we get down?!”
“I don’t know!” She adjusted her grip on the sword, “we are currently on our way to fight the Demon Bull King, one of Monkey King greatest enemies, with less than 2 weapons on us if you don’t count my daggers and your brass knuckles, the rest of our team still keeping the ones up top busy and-wait!” Mei’s eyes brighten, “not everyone!”
“Huh? Who?!”
“Macaque!” Mei could feel a breath of relief come through her, “he’s still in the city dealing with the other clones, but I think this warrants a higher attention.” If anyone, other than the Monkey King and MK, can stop the Bull King, it’s him.
“I don’t know,” MK flinched as Mei's head creaked to him and her eyes began to twitch.
“Oh no, we are so not doing this, I am calling fuzzbutt whether you like it or not,” she stated and she sucked in a deep breath.
“Wait,” he quickly climbed her and put his hands over her mouth, “we don’t need to call him, I can handle this.”
“Do you not see where we are?” She would emphasize their precarious situation, but she is currently holding onto the only thing that is stopping the both of them from becoming mush on the floor. “What is your problem with calling him for help?”
“Nothing,” he too quickly defended himself.
“Then you should have no problem if I call him.”
“You're not calling for him.”
I’m calling him.”
“No, you're not,” he argued.
“I am!”
“You're not!”
“Am!”
“Not!”
“Am!”
“Not!”
“Am!”
“Not!”
“Not!”
“Am! Wait-dammit!” He cursed as he got tricked.
“Ha! I win, and I'm calling him!” Mei grinned.
MK was about to refute her when he saw a terrifying sight above them. “Noooo.”
She raised her eyebrow as she turned to see what he was looking at and she almost let go of her sword as she saw hundreds of deactivated Bull drones stationary all over the walls and mere meters from where they were at.
“Shit.”
BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ
Mei’s phone buzzed quite loudly.
“Shit.”
Blue eyes lit up one by one as the drones quickly woke up at the sound as their heads all snapped towards the two lone humans.
“SHIT!”
“GHA!” Red son grunted out as he was flung back. He gritted his teeth as the sharp rocks pierced him, but he shakily stood up as he stood behind his mother, who was also silently huffing for air as the two of them faced down the enraged Bull King. He knew something was wrong, there had to be something, otherwise, his father wouldn't so carelessly nor even attempt to accuse the two of them of traitorous intent based on the barest of threads.
‘There has to be,’ he desperately thought as he silently looked at his hands and gripped it as it began to heat up. ‘But there is no defining evidence…I should have never taken that key.’ He regretted silently as they were once more prepared to go toe to toe with the Bull King when out of nowhere.
“AHHHHHHHH!” BOOM
MK lands face first into the ground.
“Noodle boy?!” What is he doing here?!
“Little thief,” Bull King hissed out as he then gripped his head and uttered. “Sun Wukong.”
Both he and his mother were startled by that admission as they couldn’t help but share a glance, as they passively watched Bull King begin his assault on the Monkey King successor.
Red son gritted his teeth as he watched his friend get pulverized by his father. ‘I have to do something, but what can I do? Something nefarious is afoot with father and yet I am standing here like a dame instead of helping MK. MK? No! No, I mean I have to help father snap out of whatever has come over him instead of beating upon my fri-noodle boy! Hurting noodle boy…he is hurting noodle boy…MK.” He snapped out of his thoughts when he saw the horrifying sight of the rage filled demon looming over MK with his fists raised high in the air.
“NO!” He burst into flames and charged forward, but was stopped by his mother as she swiftly sent out two airstrikes to the Bull King and used her fan to sweep the boy away from his demise and plopped him down next to the both of them.
“Wha-” he groggily got up as he looked up in surprise at Princess Iron Fan.
“It’s the canister, they have driven him mad with power,” she said as she hatefully eyed the glowing blue canisters upon the Bull King back.
“Well that’s a problem,” he blinked as he saw the skeletal remains floating about in the sludge of energy.
Then in a feral-like fury where only instinct took full control of body rather than the mind, the Bull King had snarled at them and began to charge on all fours.
“All right,” he used his staff to pick himself up, “time for round 2.”
“No, we fight together,” the prince said in determination as he readied his stance and was about to charge once more when another voice echoed.
“Seems like you guys can use a hand,” their eyes widen as they see the Bull King sink into the ground as a massive transparent violent hand of energy crushed him.
“Dad/Macaque!” MK and Red son cried out in relief as Iron Fan said it a bit more calmly as MK continued. “How are you here?!”
“Jade rang for me,” the voice echoed out as it continued its struggle against pinning the demon down. “Said some interesting things too.”
Mei's hands twitched anxiously as she waited for any sign of MK. She had just finished cleaning up the rest of the drones in the caves, but she thought it best if she kept here in case there would be any bot or people trying to sneak in to aid the nefarious family. Yet, that didn’t stop her from wanting to go down there and help her friend, no matter how stupid or dangerous that may be.
“You know what, screw this. Sorry MK, but we need all the help,” she gave a quick apology as she sucked in a deep breath and yelled, “MACAQUUEEE!”
Her voice vibrated through the walls.
She knew that she could have easily called him on her phone and he would have come just as quick, but that didn’t really matter in the long run as he saw a dark figure leap his way over to her. “Took you long enough,” she said with a small grin as he phased into the mech.
“Sorry, the city is in chaos as you know,” Macaque sarcastically said as he eyed her state to see any injuries.
“I’m fine,” she quickly said, “but MK is down there fighting DBK!”
“What!” His golden eyes that were tinted with violet eyes snapped onto her light green ones as all six ears twitched.
“Yeah, he didn’t want me to tell you, but I think we have bigger things to worry about.”
“Don’t want me-no,” he stopped himself short before he could go deeper. “Putting that to the side, for now, bigger problems first. Will you be fine if I go to your idiot brother.”
“I am currently inside of a monkey mech,” she deadpanned, “I am more than fine.”
He shot her a smirk and ruffled her already messed up hair and sunk back into the shadows and began to move deeper into the pit.
“Ahaha, about that,” MK nervously scratched the back of his neck.
“We are talking about this later.”
“Yeah that’s fair,” he slumped down.
Then a figure leaped out from the shadows of the Bull King as the Bull King rapidly gained back its bearing and destroyed the hand pinning it down.
Macaque whistled, “Well, I thought that it would at least keep you down a little longer than that, but apparently I’m wrong.”
“It’s the canister!” MK yelled, “they’re amplifying his powers.”
“You don’t say,” he muttered as he eyed the glowing blue power of energy then stared at it a bit harder as something felt off about it. “Somethings not right.”
Princess Iron Fan raised an eyebrow at his comment but quickly pushed it aside as she readied herself. “We can save questions for later, right now we have to get those off of my husband.”
“Right,” he nodded and his eyes went back to the Bull King who was getting up, “alright anyone got a plan.”
“Both Red son and I shall distract him, while the two of you get that monstrosity off him,” she said.
“Gotcha, you ready comet,” he summoned a few of his clones.
MK hesitated before nodding as he put his staff forward, “born ready.”
Then, without warning, the rest of the royal family burst into action as the two attacked the Bull King in a rapid fire as he was suddenly surrounded by a huge fire tornado.
“YOU SHALL FALL TOGETHER!” He roared out as he dispersed it with a loud crackle of energy.
Both of them, who was very much still injured and winded from their already long fight, were pushed back as they fell into the rubble. They slowly tried to get up as the glowing King stomped his way towards them.
His form seemed to almost ripple in anticipation as he locked his glowing blue eyes on their downed forms. No hesitation in his steps as the voices in his head urged him to finally end the traitors.
End the traitors
Destroy them for their treachery
Build a kingdom worth your name
Let their bones turn into ashes
Let their blood soak into the ground
Let their flesh set a reminder
You are the true king
“Yesss,” he hissed out his agreement as he raised his arms to finish them (ignoring the heavy invisible restraint against his arm and a small voice yelling at him to stop.) He would end this now.
Then his head was hit by a rock.
He snarled as he turned to look at MK, who was still in a throwing position.
“Hey, guess I’m a better pitcher than a hitter!” He joked, but then yelped as he felt himself get caught in the Bull’s hand.
“I’ve had about enough of you, one would think that you would learn more of the little sage tricks,” he snarled.
“I don’t know what to tell you,” he shrugged.
Bull King snarled as he proceeded to squeeze him until he was nothing but bones and blood.
“Wait! Wait!” He cried out until he poofed out in a golden light.
“What!” He shouted as he looked at the falling hair, “a clone!?”
“Yup!” He looked to see the real MK in mid-air, “and I didn’t learn little tricks from only the Monkey King,” he grinned as he summoned a hoard full of clones.
He snarled and was about to jump up to meet them when he felt his hooves and hands being grabbed, he looked down to see many Macaque clones holding him down, while some were grabbing his hands.
“Get ready for a nice wake up call,” the real Macaque smirked as he kept into the shadow to keep a steady supply of energy to his clones.
“HERE COMES MONKIE KID!” MK cried out as he and his clones proceeded to all out attack the Bull King until the canister was finally knocked off his back and with one final burst of energy, it had dispersed.
Freedom
Freedom
Gather back
Become one again
Vessel
Freedom
The black furred monkey felt a shiver running up his spine as he heard the voices ringing in his ears. He looked around and sure enough, it seemed that he was the only one who heard the ominous whispers.
‘That wasn’t a normal power madness,’ he concluded as he realized what really happened. Before he could tell the rest he felt a gust of wind come about as the three demons proceeded to leave.
“Are you serious?!” MK panicked as the rocks began to fall down all around them. “You really just left us here!”
“Honestly not surprised,” he shrugged his shoulder and grabbed his kid by the back of his shirt, “now come on and let’s get out of here before the rocks do us in.”
“How?!”
BOOM!
They looked to see a giant Monkey Mech burst in as Mei smiled at them.
“Everything went well! Need a lift?”
“Mei!”
“Nice timing Mushu.”
“That was some fight huh,” Sandy said as he ate his noodles on top of the giant mech with everyone else. “But we managed to stop DBK.”
“Nice job defeating him MK,” Tang grinned as he slurped up the remains of his bowl.
“I don’t know, I don’t think I really defeated him,” he muttered as he fiddled with his chopsticks. “There was something weird, that power he had just made him…different.”
“But we won right,” she looked on the bright side.
“I’m sure it’s fine,” the historian appeared over Pigsy's shoulder and was casually grabbing some noodles from his bowl. “You don’t need this right sugar.”
“Get your hands off my food!” He pulled away from his lover as everyone around them laughed.
Amid their exuberant energy, they haven’t quite realized that the area was almost desolate with anyone else, including animals and bugs that usually roam around here. The only animal anywhere near them was a bird that perched right on top of one of the outer rocks in the clearing. It seemed to be in a tranquil state as it took in the scene, so it spread its wings to fly off when a voice stopped him.
“You know you could have jumped down and talked to them instead of standing there like an actual creeper,” said Macaque as he emerged from the shadow.
The bird gave him wide eyes as he instinctively transformed back into his original form, “Didn’t really think I should just go in there when all is said and done,” Wukong said as he rubbed the back of his neck.
“Wow, it must have taken a long time to think about that with the way you were sitting there,” he rolled his eyes and leaned against the rock.
“I’m not that bad,” he muttered and settled back down on top of the rock.
“Could have fooled me with the number of times you have a stupid idea.”
“Oh like you haven’t had one.”
“I have my own fair share, but it doesn’t even pale in comparison to yours, should I bring up the Kinnara incident,” he smirked.
“How was I supposed to know that she would kick our ass for interrupting her song,” he grumbled.
“Your ass,” he emphasized, “I had the common sense to stay behind, one would think not to mess with a being whose own gaze can pierce through you.”
“Didn’t seem that way to me.”
“Well, you didn’t have something called survival instinct.”
“To be fair I had plenty of instincts, but I just chose to ignore it back then and thought she was a harmless target,” he then shuddered, “so many regrets that day.”
“Pfft,” he chuckled lowly and Wukong couldn’t help but join in. He knew he was very stupid back then and so much more impulsive and looking back on it now, it is rather funny. But the laughter couldn’t last forever as it then died down as the atmosphere turned into an awkward silence.
Both monkeys knew they were avoiding the bigger problem at hand, but neither wanted to bring that up. At the same time though, they couldn’t ignore it forever, and eventually one of them will have to make the first step soon.
So Macaque opened his mouth and said, “Well if you ever feel like leaving your mountain other than stalking my kid, the forest is always open.”
“Really,” his eyes widened.
‘You really want to see me again.’ The silent question was asked.
“It is a public area, though you might want to bring starlight along with you if you want to see the not so public sights,” he said with a shrug.
‘Yes, I do.’ Was the silent answer.
“I’ll definitely do that! Maybe sometime next week?” He couldn’t stop his smile from growing widely.
“That work, well I got to get back. Too much damn medicine to make and that’s with my clone's help,” he grumbled as he pushed back off the rock.
“See you then,” he said with a short wave.
Macaque flippantly waved his hand as he sank back into the shadows.
Wukong grinned as he watched his friend's aura travel through his shadows until he had reached the city limits. It was only then he turned back into his bird form and took off towards his mountain once more.
“So the hospital is really that backed up again,” MK asked as he sat on top of the rooftop with his dad the next day.
“Like a car side swiping a train,” he groaned as he laid down. “I just got done helping not even an hour ago.”
“I bet Yanyu had to drag you out,” the monkey successor snorted.
“Nah, she was snoring in the back room, she passed the fuck out a few hours back after a successful surgery,” he grinned in pride. His student has really come far since he first started teaching her and to think that she had doubts about her ability, now look at her working alongside the attending physicians. He can still remember her running towards him and lunged at him with utter joy on her face when she told him that she passed her qualifying exam. He is really proud of her.
“She deserves it,” he nodded.
She does,” the monkey hummed as he got up, “but I think it’s time we talk about that little thing back in the cave.”
MK nervously straightened up as he scratched the back of his neck, “hahaha what do you mean?”
“You are still a terrible liar comet, why didn’t you call me,” he looked him in the eyes.
“I was going to,” he mumbled, not sounding at all convincing.
“Really,” his voice dripped with sarcasm.
MK tried to keep a straight face, but it didn’t last long as he groaned and put his face in his hands, “Alright fine I wasn’t! But I could have handled it! You're always there and I know I can count on you, but something I need to do by myself. I’m not a child anymore.”
“And I know your not, and I have tried my best to not hound on you,” he said then he let out a sigh, “believe me when I say that I know I worry a little too much-”
“A little?!” Mei shouted as she lifted the hatch up.
“Mei! How long have you been there?!” The twenty years old shouted.
“Hehehe, long enough,” she nervously giggled as she slowly climbed out and sat next to her brother. She had forgotten she was eavesdropping on them and just had to blurt out. “Kinda forgot, but I still stand by my point.”
“I know, I mean ever since you left I've been trying to hold back from outright following you around,” he reluctantly said, not even blinking an eye at Mei’s sudden appearance.
“And I'm glad you haven’t, Mei already has a tracker on all of us,” he shot a glare at his sister.
“Wait really?”
“Yes siree!”
“…I feel like I should talk to you more about that kind of stalking,” he eyed her as he was forcibly reminded of another monkey and his stalking.
“Have you seen the number of times we unintentionally get into weird situations, let alone the times we actively seek it out?” She deadpanned.
“And I take that back,” he retracted his words. “But regardless, I trust you Starbright. I trust you even when I want to scoop both you and your sister up and hide you away from the world. But when shit like this happens, I get fucking worried cause that could have ended in a complete disaster, you understand?”
“But it didn’t!” He protested.
“But it could have,” he shot back and leaned in close, “and I’m so fucking grateful that it didn’t. Cause what if something did happen and the both of you wound up biting more than you could chew, fuck the two of you could have died and I wouldn’t have known shit until I saw your corpse.”
“I-I,” MK didn’t know what to say as he lowered his head alongside Mei. Both teenagers were at a loss of words at the reality of the situation, especially MK.
Macaque took a deep breath and let out a huge sigh as he brought both children close to him, “Look, I trust you to take care of yourself, but if you think you land in a situation you can’t handle, please call me. I know I sound repetitive at this point, but I stand by my fucking word that I will come, okay.”
Both of them looked up to meet their dad’s concerned eyes and nodded.
“You got it,” Mei smiled and leaned further into his fur.
“Okay,” MK sniffed as cuddled closer to him.
The black furred monkey smiled down at both of them and gave them each a kiss to the forehead and silently watched the bustling city below just a little longer.
“I’m fine my queen,” Bull King grumbled as he walked through the cave. “I sustained only minor injuries.”
“I know you have, but you were overtaken by a sinister energy source that managed to drive you mad with power that put your meridians past the point of exhaustion,” she deadpanned. “You need to rest.”
“It still doesn’t make sense how such a source can overtake father's mind,” Red son muttered as he looked through an ancient book. “I have heard tales of items having power from their previous owners and using it to their own design, but never of just raw aura. It just doesn’t make sense.”
“You're not wrong spitfire,” they turned to see Macaque phasing out from the shadow of a rock.
“Six Eared Macaque,” Bull King grumbled before he suddenly caught a bag that was thrown at him. “What is-”
“Spiritual roots from the Kunlun Peak, brew those in tea and they should help your median lines get back into condition before the month is up,” the monkey said as he walked closer.
“This is most useful, I will transfer the money-” Macaque cut her off.
“Consider this repaying the favor of saving my son Raki.”
“If I had not attempted to harm your child in my plight of madness there would be no need for this,” DBK gritted out and slightly lowered his head. He knew that the slight of offense of their agreement was on him and his mad conquest of power, if the Six Eared Macaque declared retribution for his actions then he would have to honor his word. What the outcome will be for both sides remains a mystery.
“Yeahhh what you did was stupid, but that’s actually what I came down to talk to you guys about,” he patted Red Son on the shoulder, “your kid is right about the power madness, what happen to you was not that.”
“What?” Both father and son blurted out.
“Explain,” the mother's eyes narrowed as her hand twitched.
“You were being possessed by one bitch of a spirit, what kind, I don’t know, but I do know the signs of possession when I see one.”
“How?”
“Was the different colored glowing eyes not obvious enough? His spouts of madness? Him going completely feral? Whatever you guys found is powerful, powerful enough to influence you BK.”
There was a silence as the surreal announcement enveloped them then someone growled as two craters appeared on the walls.
“Who dares think they have the audacity,” Queen Iron Fan hissed out as the wind began to swirl around her.
“I swear when I find the leech who manipulates me, I will tear their body limb from limb, bone to bone, blood into ashes and let their soul never find rest,” the King growled out in utter hatred.
Prince Red Son said nothing as sparks of fire flickered on and off around different corners of the cave and his hand trembled with fury.
The Royal Bull family does not take lightly to insults upon their names. They are known for sparking dread within people, making those fall to their feet, being a symbol of fear and power spread all through the nation and someone had the insolence to try to not only take control of their King but even fucking dare try to rip the family apart and kill them under his own hands?
They shall feel their wrath, this they declare.
“Well I have my message out of the way,” he wasn’t even fazed by their spirited anger, “Red a word.”
This snapped the prince out of his fury as he walked over to his pseudo uncle, “How may I help you?”
“Not me per say, but certainly my two kids who are worried the hell for you.”
“Their okay right,” he quickly questioned as he knew MK was alright but hadn't seen signs of Mei.
“A little bruised up, but they had worse, but my advice to you kiddo is talk to them. They have been worried out of their minds and I’m sure whatever you might have done they’ll forgive you.” He knew that Red Son wasn’t talking to them out of some sort of self doubt and guilt, but he wasn’t about to pry into what he did.
“You really think so?”
“You’ll have to ask them yourself.”
“…I will,” he nodded, “Thank you.”
“No problem, but let me tell you that since I have known you for a long time and I know you wouldn’t do abuse trust so lightly, especially from people you give a shit about, I’ll let you off with a light warning,” his eyes began to faintly glow a light violet color, “I may not know what you did, but don’t try to maliciously deceive them again, okay.”
“Yes sir,” he immediately said.
“Good boy,” he smirked and ruffled his hair, “now stop fucking around and send them a text before I duct tape their mouths myself.”
“They’ve been that bad?”
“I almost sicced Daiyu on the both just so they could do something else other than complain,” he deadpanned.
“…full permission to do the same if they get past that point,” he smirked.
“You don’t need to even ask me.”
“Yes!” He excitedly pumped his fist.

I Want It To Be You
(done as a commission for a friend)
Billy wasn’t totally sure how to bring it up.
He and Steve had been dating a while now, spending pretty much all their free time together. Billy’s roommate had been shocked to see him sleeping in his loft last week, for once not in Steve’s single. But who could blame him? Steve was perfect.
Steve had whirled into Billy’s life, put him in his place, and pulled Billy into a whirlwind romance of sorts. If you could call sucking Billy’s dick in the backyard of a frat house romantic. And Billy could, personally. Not only was Steve perfect personality wise, sweet but with fire, he was the best lay Billy’d ever had in his life. He sucked dick like a pro, and Billy was pretty sure Steve’s hole was heaven. Plus, his thighs were soft as hell and he made the sweetest sounds.
But Billy was curious.
Steve had been King Steve in high school, according to his friend Tommy. He’d stopped by for a weekend, hanging out with Billy when Steve had to go off for an appointment. They’d gotten stoned waiting for him, finding it easier to talk to each other with the haze around them.
“God, you should have heard these girls,” Tommy drawled, grinning. “Oh, Steve was so good, he treated me so well. Steve is so handsome, he’s the only guy I ever wanna fuck again. He railed me into next week, I’ve never had dick so good --” He cut himself off with a snicker as Billy scowled. “I assume you agree.” Billy shifted, suddenly uncomfortable.
“I mean, I wouldn’t know,” he said. Tommy turned his head, letting it fall to the side to look at Billy, one eyebrow raised. “He’s always bottomed with me.”
“Huh,” Tommy said. “Not that that’s weird or anything, he loves a good dicking--”
“Do you think he thinks I think he wants to bottom so he never asked?” Billy said, worried. Steve was proud, was out, but Billy knew he’d had trouble with boyfriends in the past. Boys who couldn’t see past Steve’s parts to who he actually was. Who let that dictate how they saw him. Billy liked to top, loved the feeling of someone squeezing around him, but he’d been curious about bottoming. Wondered how it felt.
Steve had never suggested it, so Billy hadn’t thought to bring it up. But now…
“Imma need you to repeat that,” Tommy said. “I’m too stoned to follow whatever that was.”
“Like,” Billy smacked his lips, leaning forward to take a few gulps of water. “Like do you think Steve is bottoming ‘cause he thinks he has to? ‘Cause like, it’s great, don’t get me wrong but…” Tommy nodded, patting Billy’s shoulder.
“Steve doesn’t do anything he doesn’t want to. Not after his last boyfriend. Honestly, he’d kinda shied away from guys for a while, so I was surprised when he mentioned you.” Tommy smiled, soft and gentle. “He really likes you, you know. Thinks you’re the bees knee .” Billy rolled his eyes, but couldn’t hide his blush. “You know, you could just ask him about it.”
“Shut up,” Billy replied, smiling as Steve entered his dorm. He paused, eyebrow raising.
“You two having fun?” He shut the door, placing the towel Tommy and Billy had forgotten about into the crack at the bottom.
They’d all smoked together after and Billy had forgotten the conversation until later. Until he was laying down to sleep and it all came back. He had laid there, wide awake, listening to his roommate snore, thinking about Steve. About Steve fucking him with his long fingers, slow and sensual. About Steve fucking him with a dildo, going all King on him the way Billy would never admit got him going better than anything else. He’d come embarrassingly fast at the idea of riding Steve.
Now all he had to do was ask.
But he still couldn’t get the words out. Couldn’t find a way to bring it up that didn’t make him sweat a little. Didn’t make his stomach do flops.
It was fitting then, that he blurted it out while Steve was talking about his English homework.
“What’s it like bottoming?” Billy said, wincing as his voice came out more of a shout than he’d like. Steve just blinked, eyebrows shooting up.
“It’s nice,” Steve said, slowly. “Kinda weird at first, but, I mean, it eventually feels really good.” Steve trailed his fingers along Billy’s arm lightly, making goosebumps rise on his arms. “Not that I don’t wanna talk about it or anything, but why?” Billy blushed, looking away and chewing on his thumb with a shrug.
“Tommy mentioned that you uh, you had a reputation at school--”
“Tommy running his mouth again,” Steve groaned. “That fucking--”
“And I kinda wanted to try it? With you?” Billy couldn’t look at Steve. “I’ve never really trusted anyone enough, but I’m curious and you’re supposedly really good, and--”
“Whoa whoa,” Steve said, grabbing Billy’s cheeks and turning his face so he could look Steve in the eye. Steve’s eyes were wide, pupils blown, a light flush on his cheeks. “Are you serious? You really-- I mean I figured you’d rather top.” Billy shrugged.
“I like topping, but I mean… I’ve never tried bottoming before and I’d really kinda like it to be you. That tops me. First.” Steve inhaled sharply through his nostrils, catching his bottom lip with his teeth, slowly letting it pop out.
“Fuck,” he breathed. “Yeah. Yeah let’s-- Let’s plan a night.”
“We can’t just--”
“We’re gonna be fully sober, Billy,” Steve said. “And there’s kinda some prep that goes into bottoming for you.” Billy nodded, smiling at Steve. Wonderful, lovely Steve. Steve took a deep breath, rubbing his thumb along Billy’s cheek. “You’re such a dream,” and he crooked his mouth in a grin, and Billy swallowed thickly. He didn’t know what to say. No one had ever called him that before. Instead, he pulled Steve in for a kiss.
It was Saturday morning and Billy was anxious. He’d prepped, he’d cleaned, but he hadn’t stretched, wanting Steve to be the one to do that. Wanted desperately to know what those fingers felt like inside him. Billy shook his head, shifting awkwardly and ignoring his half chub, hoping it would go away. He still had time before going to Steve’s, so he ran to the coffee shop on campus and grabbed himself a breakfast sandwich and black coffee, as well as a dnaish and fancy sweet drink for Steve. The line was longer than he’d have liked, too close to finals for it to be as empty as usual for a Saturday, and he had to run for Steve’s dorm by the time he had paid and gotten the drinks and food.
Steve yanked the door open when Billy arrived, smiling when he held out the coffee and bag of delicious pastry.
“Good, we’ll need the energy.” Billy smirked as Steve turned, heading back into his dorm. Steve had a single, which Billy was always grateful for. They never had to worry about being quick or quiet. Well, quiet for a roommate. Billy was positive Steve’s neighbors hated him. Luckily, he gave absolutely no fucks.
“So,” Billy began, swiping his tongue over his bottom lip. “I did what you said. Everything is clean.” Steve smiled at him, tucking his head down to give Billy a sweet, chaste kiss.
“You’re so cute,” he said. Billy huffed.
“I think the word you’re looking for is sexy. Unbearably hot. An absolute fucking sex god--”
“Oh my god,” Steve laughed. “Fine, fine. You’re the sexiest man alive. And also the cutest.” Billy tried to bite back his smile, but it was hard. Steve shifted nervously from foot to foot before pulling out a tub from under his bed. Billy’s eyes widened when he set it on the bed and opened it up.
He’d never seen so many sex toys in his life.
“Damn,” he breathed, reaching out and grabbing a monster of a dildo, blue and ribbed. Steve blushed a little, scratching the back of his head. Billy sat down on the bed, looking through the box. Steve sat on the other side.
“I’ve been growing this since like, high school. So I have a lot.” He dug around, pulling out what looked like a harness.
“What’s that?”
“So, here.” Steve dug around in the box, grabbing a flesh colored dildo of pretty average size. He connected it to the front of the harness. “This is the strap. Makes it so I can fuck you properly,” he said, smirking a little. Billy swallowed, feeling something churn in his belly. Something warm and good. Steve bit his lip, setting the strap down and crawling forward, pressing Billy onto the bed. Billy let his head hit the pillow, gazing up at Steve as he hovered above him. “If I do anything that hurts or that you don’t like, you tell me, okay?” The genuine concern and care in Steve’s eyes was way more overwhelming than the idea of a dick in his ass. Billy swallowed thickly and nodded.
“Yeah,” he rasped hoarsely. Steve smiled, soft and kind, and swooped down for a kiss. He gently licked into Billy’s mouth, making him sigh contentedly. Billy slowly heated up the kiss, sucking on Steve’s tongue and biting his lip. Steve groaned, grinding his hips down. Billy had been half hard since this morning, and the friction was delightful, making him gasp. Steve took the chance to roll his tongue in Billy’s mouth, moving to kiss down his neck as Steve’s hips rolled, grinding slow and steady against Billy. They moved against each other, breathing each other’s air, until Billy couldn’t take it. The feel of Steve against him, sweat pants damp from how wet he surely was, was too much. He was already close. “Steve, baby, please--” Steve groaned and pulled back, moving from on top of Billy. Billy rolled over, pushing up onto his elbows and knees. “ Please.”
“Holy shit,” Steve breathed as Billy gave a cheeky grin, despite his blush. He moved so he could see Steve, bangs falling in sweaty pieces across his forehead, cheeks and lips flushed. Billy bit his lip. His nerves were settling now as it got closer, overwhelmed by the anticipation and excitement. Steve slowly pulled Billy’s shorts down, inhaling sharply when he realized Billy was going commando. It wasn’t different than usual, but it never failed to get Steve riled up. He cupped Billy’s cheeks, kneading them as if in a trance, pulling them open to stare at Billy’s hole. It made him shiver.
“Come on, Harrington,” he purred. Steve fumbled for the lube, squirting some onto Billy’s crack. He hissed at the cold, though his skin quickly warmed it up. Steve rubbed it around his hole, breath loud, before squirting some on his fingers.
“One first, okay?” Steve said. Billy harrumphed and stuck his ass out. Steve laughed, biting his lip as he teased Billy’s rim. He prodded gently, sweetly, pushing in to the first knuckle, wiggling, and finally pushing in more. Billy’s breath hitched and he closed his eyes. It was different. A feeling he wasn’t used to. But it wasn’t bad. Steve pushed his finger in and out, wiggling it before curling. Billy’s toes curled and he gasped a little, pushing back against Steve’s finger. Now that was fucking nice. Steve gently rubbed for a minute before pulling his finger out. Billy whined. “Oh my god,” Steve chuckled. “You’re so horny for it.” Billy stuck out his tongue, ignoring how hot his face felt.
“Like you’re any better!” Billy propped himself up, putting on his slutty Steve face. “Billy, oh Billy please! Lemme cum, I wanna cum, just touch me!” Billy yelped, letting out a long moan as Steve sunk two fingers into him, giving his ass a slap.
“Dunno that you should be making fun of the guy with his fingers up your ass, babe,” Steve said.  “Dunno that I like it when you get all sassy when I’m just trying to make you feel good.” He slapped Billy’s ass again. Billy grunted and his dick jumped.
“Shit,” he hissed. Steve kissed the small of his back.
“Just wait till I find your prostate, sweets.” His voice was commanding, but sweet. It made Billy wanna listen, wanna follow his rules, wanna-- Wanna worship him.
“Oh?” Billy panted. “This the King Steve I’ve heard so much about?” Steve grinned, scissoring his fingers. Billy pushed back, sighing against the stretch. It felt good. They moved together, Steve alternating between scissoring and just pistoning his fingers in and out.
“God, you’re gonna be so tight, baby,” Steve hummed, kissing along Billy’s spine. “You’re gonna love when I fuck you. I’m gonna start slow until you can’t stand it, show you just how good you make me feel.” Billy shuddered, moaning against the sheets. Steve added more lube, and a third finger. “You’re taking these so good. Shit, Billy. Being so good for your King.” Billy grinned as his dick kicked, and he pushed back against the fingers. After a moment, he curled his fingers just so, making Billy violently twitch. He let out a loud moan, biting the meat of his palm to quiet himself.
“Fuck,” Billy gasped. Steve had paused, and when Billy turned to look, his eyes were wide and his jaw dropped.
“Wow,” Steve breathed. He pulled his fingers out, standing up and shedding his sweats and boxers. Billy could see how wet, how excited he was as he pulled on the strap, moving to get behind Billy. “You think you’re ready?” He slapped Billy’s ass again, getting a low groan, rolling a condom onto the dildo and lubing it up. Steve rubbed the dick along Billy’s crack.
“Fuck me, Steve,” Billy growled. “For fucks sake.” Steve huffed, rolling his eyes.
“You’re so demanding. If I recall correctly, I’m giving you the King Steve treatment, not the Follow Billy’s Rules treatment.” And before Billy could reply, he slipped in, slowly pushing in the head before pausing, giving Billy time to adjust, before slowly pressing in again. Billy’s jaw dropped and he pushed back, drool dripping out of the corner of his mouth.
“Oh my god,” he whined. Steve licked his lips, smirking.
“Yeah? You like my dick that much, Hargrove? You should see the others.” Billy shuddered as Steve bottomed out. Billy swallowed, panting wetly against the sheets.
“Yeah,” Billy moaned, feeling so full and content. “Fuck yeah.” Steve moved his hips out slowly, leaning forward to kiss Billy’s shoulders and down his spine, sucking hickies between his shoulders. Billy was shaking under him, grasping the sheets tightly in his fists.
“Fuck, baby,” Steve groaned. “I wanna see your face. You okay moving positions?” Billy nodded, biting down on a whine when Steve pulled out. Gentle hands guided him onto his back, hair like a sweaty halo around him. Steve looked down, so beautiful and fucking hot. Everything Billy could ever dream of. He pulled Billy up by the back of his knees, maneuvering them over his shoulders and slipping back in slowly, breathing heavy and pointed. Billy gasped, throwing his head back as he reached up and clamped a hand on Steve’s shoulder. Steve grinned down at him, brown hair damp and hanging around his face.
“Liked that, huh?” Steve purred, slowly pulling back out. Billy couldn’t do much but pant, hand clenching at Steve’s pale skin as he felt the dick slide out. His brain was melted goo, struck dumb by the feeling of Steve pressing into him again, keeping his pace aggravatingly slow and steady. “Fuck,” he whispered, kissing along the column of Billy’s neck. Billy closed his eyes, almost overwhelmed. “You look so good, baby, stretched around me like this.” Billy could feel himself blushing, but he knew the feeling of watching your cock sink into your lover, and his dick kicked, wondering if he looked as good as Steve did.
“Shit, Stevie,” Billy groaned as Steve bottomed out again, pausing in his movements. “Fuck, baby…” Steve shifted, moving forward so he could press deeper into Billy. The harness of the strap rubbed against Billy’s skin, creating a wonderful addition of pleasure to the feeling of being so full. Billy breathed deep, biting his bottom lip as Steve pulled out again, still going maddeningly slow. “Come on,” Billy whined, trying to move his hips so he could speed things up. “Fuck me like you mean it! Like King Steve would-- Fuck!” Billy hadn’t even finished his sentence when Steve smirked, smug and cocky, before slamming his hips back in. His pace was almost brutal, their skin slapping together as he pistoned in and out. Billy forgot what words were, mind blanking as Steve shifted and hit his prostate. He got so much deeper at this angle. And Billy could watch him, see him come apart. Billy moaned, low and rumbly, biting his lips to try and keep from making too much noise. The bed itself rattled against the wall of Steve’s dorm, probably pissing off the neighbors, but fuck them. Billy was getting fucked within an inch of his life, they could suck his dick.
Well, not actually. He’d much prefer if Steve did that.
“You’re so beautiful,” Steve murmured, hand running down Billy’s chest before moving back up to tweak his nipples. The other hand stayed on Billy’s hip, gripping tightly. He slowed his pace down, pulling out with care before snapping his hips back in. Each snap of his hips, each slap of skin, each squelch of lube, sent jolts straight to Billy’s dick. It leaked against his stomach and he arched into Steve’s touch, eyes snapping open, though he barely saw anything. “My beautiful guy,” Steve sighed, leaning down to kiss Billy as he buried his dick deep inside, keeping his hips flush to Billy’s ass. It made his back arch and he reached for his dick, jerking himself rapidly. “Yeah,” Steve breathed, kissing Billy’s neck sloppily, tongue leaving a trail along his collar bone. “Cum for me, sweetheart,” he whispered into Billy’s ear. He licked the lobe, giving it a bite. Billy arched, crying out as he came, shooting up his stomach and chest. He gasped loudly, groaning low and long as he stripped his cock, sperm dripping out and onto his stomach, slicing down to pool in between his pecs. Steve pulled out slowly, lowering Billy down before licking at the cooling sperm on his skin. He slurped it up, loud and obnoxious, just like Billy liked. Billy shuddered, licking his lips and pulling Steve up for a kiss. Steve hummed into his mouth before pulling back. He swiftly removed the strap, climbing into bed and pulling Billy against his chest.
“Wow,” Billy said, voice raspy from how loud he’d gotten. He never made that much noise but, well, that was Steve. “That was just-- Wow.” Steve smiled, kissing the back of Billy’s neck.
“You’d wanna do it again?” Steve asked, sounding a little vulnerable.
“Honestly, gimme a few hours, and I’ll be ready.” Steve laughed, loud and bright, before pulling Billy even closer, matching grins on their faces.

🌙 AAHH!! This event is so adorable! Congratulations on the milestone! Can you please make my request have a spooky vibe? "Floyd ran up to me enthusiastically and pulled me into an embrace. I stiffened out of instinct and fear, feeling a desire to escape his grasp and run away." I admit, I'm a bit scared of Floyd.

Warning(s): Nudity (nothing spicy but just in case that’s not up someone’s alley), poor attempt at spoopy content, open-ended ending, implied death
A/N: Thank you so much anon! I changed “ran” to “swam” though so I hope that’s alright with you. I enjoyed writing this so thank you for requesting~ I got carried away though… oops.
A/N²: This would make sense if you read the prologue to this event.
With every step you took, you huffed and puffed your chest in a futile attempt to outrun the ambiguous figure cloaked by the forest’s mist. You were certain that you had collided with something, but when you regained your composure, not a single soul was present. Just you. You had heard a voice ask you, “Are you lost, little lamb?” with an eerie voice. You couldn’t be mistaken. Those words were audible and the speaker was nearby. You were sure of it and yet, here you are– shrouded in a thick fog, all alone.
Being all alone is not a problem as it is an inconvenience, but being all alone in a forest filled with god knows what- and at night no less- was a sticky wicket to put it lightly. Yes, your arrogance was partly to blame, but there was no time to dwell on such trivial matters regarding your concerns about a white rabbit. No, no! You had to find a safe haven, a sanctuary of some sorts, somewhere to take shelter and rest your sore limbs. Judging from your drowsiness and the position of the moon, it was an absurd hour– late, late, late into the night. You were famished. Parched too. You wanted to collapse onto the dirt path at this very moment, but the thought of being eaten alive by wild beasts revolted you enough to go onward.
After an eternity of you aimlessly wandered around the intricate arrangement of tree trunks and foliage, you came across a clearing. The mist was heavier and the smell of petrichor was dominant. Water! There must be water here. You followed the path, leading you to a body of water, a loch as people around this area would call it. You sighed in relief.
As you walked up to the shores, you stared into your reflection. A sight for sore eyes, you were. Worse for wear, but relieving nonetheless. The image of yourself offered solace. Crouching down on the banks of the loch, you cupped the murky waters into your petite palms and gulped down every last drop, leaving you breathless when you finished. The sensation of your thirst being quenched by the cool liquid was refreshing, but insatiable. You reached for the loch once more, but stopped midway.
Crunch.
“Who’s there?” you yell over your shoulder.
Silence. Then a growl. Your muscles tensed. You pulled your hood closer to your face. You stood up to peer into the woods. Glowering amber eyes met yours. A growl matched those distinct features. Biscuits. Just when you’ve found some peace and quiet. There was nothing to fend against them. You steadily bent down to grab your basket. The only plan you had in mind was to make a run for it. No destination in mind. Simply the desire to see the sunrise and nothing more. Feeling the stiff fibers of the handle, your grip tighten onto the handle. You closed your eyes. You inhaled, digging your heels into the soil, preparing to spring up from your squatted position and run as fast as your legs could carry you.
But to your surprise, danger emerged from the waters as something terribly slimy wrapped itself around your left leg. You yelped, turning around to meet a cryptid, a serpent with humanoid features. His eyes were mix-matched, holding a hazed yet crazed expression. His (to lightly put it) abnormal features striked sheer terror in your bones. With wild beasts racing towards you and a snake-like monster attached onto your leg, the only option was to the sides. Your efforts were futile, however; there was a death grip locking you into your place, pulling you back. Resistance prevented you from falling into the water, but you fell flat on your face. You hissed on impact. Grabbing the rock and soils that lined the loch banks, scrambling like a feline in water, you tried to break free.
Your voice cracked, “Help. Someone help me!”
Deep down you knew no one would come for you. You were alone before. You will die alone as you are now. You let go of the shore, letting the serpent drag you into the lake. A cold rush washed over your languid figure as you sank. What a fine night. The moon was lovely, shining brightly over the loch. The serpent’s body was still coiled around your shin. It was thick and slimy, sending shivers down your spin every time you kicked your legs around. To your surprise, the coil loosened. Although, you didn’t have time to swim away– let alone catch your breath.
The cryptid was a fast swimmer. It was right before your eyes now. Everything was so clear. From its facial features- sharp jawline and strong cheekbones, you assumed the creature was male. That, or his upper body being well defined [humanoid] muscles being a dead give away. Aside from his abdominals, he had hair. It was a darker color than his complexion with a black fringe to the left of his face. He also had the fins, claws, pointed ears, and all– like any loch monster. He had a tail too. Ah yes, the tail. A very long tail that resembled that of a sea snake though the color of it said otherwise. What kind of sea snake was turquoise? Of course, that was not your main concern.
It was the look in his eyes.
He, indeed, had mix-matched eyes. One was a faint yellow, illuminating the dark waters. The other was a stormy gray. They bore into your soul as if they were searching through every inch of it for your deepest, darkest secrets. He reached for you.
In response you swam backwards, distancing yourself from him which only resulted in him swimming towards you and firmly grabbing your small figure by the shoulders. His deranged expression kept you in place. With the last of your breath fading away and your limbs giving into fear and fatigue, you closed your eyes and prepared yourself for the worst.
Instead, something warm graced your lips. This sensation stirred butterflies in your stomach. You gasped, finally able to catch your breath yet they immediately returned to the heat source. It was addictive, more refreshing than a breath of air. It was– Hold on a minute…!
Your ears fluttered open to the sight of the loch monster kissing you. His eyes were closed too. His nose was scrunched due to the awkward angle he claimed your lips at. The intimate act was rough, forced even, but he cupped your cheeks tenderly while also keeping you afloat. Your eyes widened, wriggling out of his grasp, kicking yourself away from him. He followed you once more.
Raising a hand, you slapped him. He hissed.
“You monster!”
“Sure are feisty for someone who was just drowning a minute ago,” he mumbled, rubbing his cheek, “Not even a thank you.”
“You– I can breathe? Underwater. Holy hell, I can breathe underwater!”
He circled around you, now by your shoulder. His tail was loosely coiled around your person due to the circular motion he swam him. You were worried he might devour you, but paid no mind to it.
“I should’ve just left you to the wolves.”
“What a rude loch monster you are.”
“Eel.”
“What a rude eel you are.”
“I have a name yanno.”
“Right then, Mr.Eel, what do you call yourself?”
“Floyd, Floyd Leech,” he said.
“Charmed. I’m (y/n)(l/n), Please to make your acquaintance. Thank you for saving my life.”
You did your best to bow, but the water had a will of its own, lurching you forward. To counter, you failed your legs around to swim backwards. Floyd’s tail tightened around your thighs to pull you back.
“Imma call you Shrimpy. You swim backwards just like a shrimp.”
“Then I shall call you a lake monster.”
“Do you want to die?”
His sudden inquiry stopped you mid kick. His tail squeezed your legs together, slowly making its way to your stomach. You coughed at the pressure, trying to pry his appendage away from you.
“N-No,” you said meekly.
“Didn’t think so, Shrimpy~” he beamed.
While it was a long shot since he was a water-dweller, you figured you might as well ask: “Say, Floyd, would you happen to know how to get out of this forest?”
He burst into a fit of laughter. You nervously laughed as well.
“Shrimpy, we’re out of the forest.”
“No, I meant–”
The eel intertwined his webbed fingers with yours. You flinched at the slimy texture of his hand. Floyd grinned at you before swimming towards the surface, pulling you up along with him. No effort was needed on your part as he was dragging you towards land. All you had to do was swing your legs here and there.
Occasionally, he would look back to see if you were still conscious. You smiled back at him and he’d return the gesture. Before you knew it, you had risen to the surface. You gasped for air, clutching Floyd’s hand. He waded his way to the shore and let you climb onto the rocks while he propped his elbows to watch you attentively.
“Shrimpy, take a look,” Floyd said.
You scanned your surroundings. Was there something he wanted you to see? There were only tall trees and an eerie fog that hugged the banks of the lake. The moon was still high in the sky though a bit dimmer than it was before you fell into the body of water. You turned to your companion.
“We’re out of the forest,” he sighed.
“No we aren’t. We’re in the middle of the forest. The trees are still surrounding us. I want to go to Wonderland.”
“What did that rabbit put in your head…”
“Pardon?”
“Nothing, Shrimpy.”
“So do you know the way out or not?”
“It’s a bit fuzzy, but I can be of some use,” he said, crawling onto the banks.
“Wait. Wait. You’re not supposed to be on land. You can just show me some pointers and I’ll be on my way,” you yelped, pushing him back into the waters.
“Fine. Fine. See that path that you came from? Go straight that way and when you hit the fork in the road, go left and then keep going straight until the next fork. Go left for all the forks.”
“That doesn’t sound so hard. I’ll be on my way now, Floyd. Thank you for helping me,” you cooed.
He grunted and huffed. You scooted forward and kissed his cheek. Grabbing your trampled basket off of the ground and adjusting your cloak, you sprinted off to the path the eel pointed to. It was so simple. How did you manage to get lost? Silly (y/n)!
The paths and forks were short too. It didn’t take long for you to see light at the end of the pathway. Excited, you picked up your pace. When you reached the end, your enthusiasm faltered,.. The loch?
No, no. You must’ve taken a wrong turn somewhere, but no matter. You can always start over from the path you came from. A water break wouldn’t be so bad either. You crouched down before the murky waters, cupped it gingerly.
A voice stopped you from taking another sip: “Back so soon, Shrimpy?”
You spun your heel: “Floyd?”
There he was. You savior from moments ago. In the flesh. On land. Human...and nude. Dropping your basket, you took off your cloak and wrapped it around him– all with a profuse blush creeping up your cheeks.
“What are you doing on land?”
“I came for you.”
You stared intently into his eyes. He shot you one of his signature smirks. You let out a small laugh as you tied the cloak’s ribbon around his neck.
“Let me water it down for you, Shrimpy: I came for this-!!”
He grabbed you by the face, pushing you towards the loch as he kissed you once more. Oh goodness...you felt dizzy. Light on your feet, you fell onto the ground. Floyd towered over you as you gasped for air, choking and sniffling on your own tears. Water soaked the ends of your hair. One hand reached for your neck and the other reached for the loch monster that quite literally took your breath away.
Floyd leered at you before waving you goodbye as darkness engulfed your vision.

Dukeceit Failed Soulmate AU Part 5
Notes: look at that, I don’t think there’s any warnings! Maybe fighting?
——————
Over the next few weeks, Janus and Remus has discussed it a bit more. They went ahead and wrote out Remus’s resume, so he’d be able to start applying to a few jobs when they came back. There was something about knowing Remus was coming back that calmed Janus’s nerves a bit. He’d never force Remus, but honestly? He couldn’t remember what life was like without him.
Soon enough things were all set up and ready to go. Janus’s boss had given him the okay (which Janus was half-hoping for a ‘no’ about), and the two had packed for the most part, the day of their trip marked on the calendar that hung by the door, quickly approaching.
And by now, they found themselves loading up the trunk of the car. They had since gone on a bit of a shopping spree for Remus, getting him some new clothes so he wouldn’t have to keep wearing Janus’s. Or well, that was the goal. But currently, Remus was still wearing one of Janus’s many stolen sweatshirts, worn out from Remus wearing it to bed all too often for the cheap material. Remus fidgeted with the strings as he rested in them passengers seat, staring down at them and out of focus. Janus lightly nudged the other with his elbow, flashing a reassuring smile at him before looking back in front of him, letting his wrists rest loosely over the steering wheel. “Something on your mind?” he asked. “You know we don’t have to go right? My boss will be happy to have me back in,” he joked softly.
“No, no, it’s not that,” Remus remarked, looking at the other sharply and shaking his head. “I just... don’t know if I’m going to regret going back,” he sighed, letting his fingers let go of the hoodie strings and dropping his head against the window lightly.
Janus hummed some, nodding along. “Well, what’s back there to regret?” he asked before putting the car in reverse, backing out of the driveway. If Remus was sure he wanted to go, even with the doubts, Janus had figured out by now that no doubts ever stopped Remus from doing something. Maybe that’s part of the reason Remus had been able to run away so easily. He just... never looked back.
Remus shrugged some in response. “Everything. It’s a small town. Everyone knows everyone. Besides, I haven’t responded to a single one of my brother’s calls, or Logan’s for that matter. Word’s gonna travel fast and it’ll just... be the same thing all over again.”
Janus blinked a few times before shifting the car back into drive, pulling out onto the main road. “Call your brother now. I didn’t know you hadn’t tal—“
“No,” Remus interjected sharply. “No, because if I do, I’m not going to want to go back, and I have some loose ends I have to tie up.”
Janus hesitated slightly, only slightly visibly discomforted at the next thought, a grimace on his face as he turned his head away from the street for a split second. “Is this about Logan?”
The silence already gave Janus the answer.
“I’m sure he’d take you back, Remus,” Janus said gently, focusing on keeping his grip on the steering wheel loose, and his shoulders back, letting out a sigh of a breath as he turned on the highway.
“It’s not that. I know he would. But I don’t want him back. I don’t think I do at least, but I just left him, y’know? He didn’t deserve that shit. And what? Now he’s going to live his whole life without someone? How fair is that?” Remus slumped more in his seat, a soft huff out of his nose fogging up the glass of the window Remus’s cheek was smushed against.
“Don’t forget, you aren’t living with one either—“
Remus sat up fully and started to argue. “Yeah, Janus, but I made that choice! Logan didn’t get a choice. He just has to live with my dec—“
“Yeah, cause Logan would’ve been any happier knowing you weren’t?” Janus countered. “You haven’t told me everything, but he doesn’t seem the type to be just fine with that.” There was a soft thunk, no doubt Remus dropping his head back against glass, then came Remus’s quiet argument. “If he really loved you, he wouldn’t want to keep you in a relationship you didn’t want.”
“I didn’t have to tell him I didn’t love him.”
“Yes you did.”
“He didn’t have to know... he could’ve been happy not knowing.”
“Blissfully unaware? Do you think he wouldn’t’ve caught on?” Janus sighed softly. “You did the right thing. And maybe, just maybe he was feeling the same way. You might not second guess when someone’s not right for you, but do you think Logan’s the same?”
Remus huffed softly. “Fine. You’re right. Is that what you want to hear?”
“Sure,” Janus remarked, no clear care in the short response. He knew better than to play along in Remus’s pity party and self-sulking. He didn’t care as much about being right as much as he did that Remus knew that he shouldn’t have forced himself into a relationship he didn’t want to be in.
It had been a long few hours since they had started driving, and it’d still be a few more in the morning. Janus had made the suggestion they turn in early. They could get up early and that way they wouldn’t have to deal with the ‘there’s only rooms with a one bed available’ ordeal. Not that either would actually care, seeing as it’d already been something they had dealt with in Janus’s one-bedroom house (after Remus arguing that he wasn’t taking Janus’s bed, and Janus merely answering that he hadn’t said anything about sleeping on the couch), but there wasn’t a reason for it if they could avoid it.
They had settled into the hotel room, only bringing up clothes for the night and morning after. After the two had changed into pajamas, they had decided on some random movie (by they, it really meant Remus) to put on. They had both sat on the bed that was closest to the tv, chatting some as it played. Janus had drifted off to sleep before Remus, so Remus opted for taking the other bed after pulling the blankets over Janus.
Tomorrow they’d be back in Remus’s hometown. Remus didn’t let the thought keep him from sleeping. That was a worry for tomorrow. He’d deal with it all tomorrow.

...
The silence was tense and awkward as Patton sat beside Virgil at the kitchen table, across from Remy, who’s posture was carefully loose and carefree. He occasionally caught a flicker of Remy’s eyes looking at him from over his dark glasses, and Virgil was still squeezing his hand. He could feel the nervous, angry energy radiating from Virgil, and the longer the silence the more tense it got, until he couldn’t take it anymore.
“So… you know Virgil, huh?” He asked. Wrong thing to say. Virgil tensed, and Remy frowned, before it slid into a smirk.
“Oh babes, that’s funny. So you haven’t told them about us, hmm?”
“Shut up.” Virgil muttered warningly, only causing Remy’s smirk to grow, something hard in his eyes.
“So what do they know, Virg? Have you told them that you’re An-“
“SHUT UP, REMY!” Virgil yelled, slamming his hands on the table and jumping out of his chair so fast it toppled over, eyes burning.
“Guess that answers that question. Imma take it as ‘no’?” Remy asked, sickly sweet, leaning back so his chair was balanced on the two back legs, feet on the table as he raised a brow, sipping his drink.
“That isn’t who I am, anymore. It isn’t who I ever wanted to be. It’s what Janus made of me.” Virgil growled, and Remy scoffed.
“Please. How long has it been, since you used any magic? Seven, eight years now?”
 “So?”
“So, how do you think I found you, when you’ve been ever so careful not to leave a trace? You made a pact, you made a bond, and no matter how far you run or how well you hide, there’s no out. You’re bound to me, and to him, no matter how much you wanna pretend otherwise.” Remy replied.
Patton gasped as Remy waved his hand, revealing a faint, glowing violet thread that reached from around Virgil’s right wrist to Remy’s, another thread extending from his left wrist and out through the walls. Remy had another thread leading away as well, both of them golden, though Virgil’s glowed much fainter, much thinner, than Remy’s. Patton looked down at himself, surprised to find a nearly clear string attached to his own wrist, though it hung limply, clearly not active. Virgil snapped and the glowing threads vanished, leaving him glowering down at Remy.
“Then go find him! Clearly you and your magical prowess should have no trouble finding the snake in the grass. Just be careful where you step and you’ll be fine!” Remy hissed out a breath, getting to his feet as well, anger flashing across his face for the first time.
“Were you not listening, or are you just that much of a stupid bitch? He got taken. He’s probably in their nest right now, meaning It’d be suicide for me to go in alone after him, not to mention if they’ve thralled or turned him by now! So unless you want Janus to become like It-“ Remy gestured to Patton, who flinched back, and Virgil growled, lightning flashing in his eyes and crackling across his palms.
“One more word, Remy, I dare you to say one single more word-“ Startling blue flared to life in Remy’s eyes as he set aside his drink, stepping forwards. Virgil stood firm, refusing to move, refusing to let Remy get between himself and Patton.
“What happened to you, Virg? You used to be strong. Now you won’t even let me do our job.”
“He’s not a job, he’s a person. Not everything that’s different is a monster, Remy. If you haven’t figured that out yet you need to grow the fuck up, and step the fuck back. You’re in my house, Sleep.” Remy’s eyes flickered under his glasses, about to say something else, stopped by the sound of the door opening.
“We’re baaaack! Miss us, heart attack tonight and sweet fang?” Virgil stepped back, letting out a small, relieved sigh. He needed the others, he couldn’t do this right now, he couldn’t handle Remy, right now.
“Roman, surely that was a little ‘much’, perhaps they were still sleeping.”
“Then they have been woken by my dulcet tones.” Virgil huffed, rolling his eyes.
“In the kitchen. With a little situation.” Instantly, Roman sprinted into the room, managing to smooth over his obvious panic when he saw everyone ok, doing a slight double take at the stranger at the table.
“What is this situation?” Logan asked, much calmer, stepping out from behind Roman, though his eagle sharp gaze never strayed from Remy, seemingly burning into his soul.
 “He’s the situation.”
“He seems to not be causing any immediate harm.” Virgil scowled at Logan’s words.
“That’s the problem. You don’t see him coming, then he explodes when your back is turned.”
“Me? Oh, that’s a laugh and a half.” Virgil flinched, taking a step back. He could remember a dozen times he’d heard that phrase, a dozen times it was said in jest, in frustration, in sarcasm. “You’re the one who turned your back on us. You’re the one who left us to deal with the fallout. You’re the one who wasn’t there so Jan got taken!”
“THAT WASN’T MY FAULT! You always go poking your nose places it doesn’t belong, you always leap before you look, you never consider the consequences of your actions, you and him both always think you know best, when you don’t know anything at all!” Virgil shouted back, fists clenched at his sides.
“That’s why you are the third member, to keep us from getting into this mess!”
“Don’t put this on me! You never listened when I was there! You never bothered to actually care about me! Janus just cared about my power, and you just cared about his approval, and neither one of you cared if what you were doing was right!” Remy let out a harsh laugh, throwing his glasses aside as he rubbed his face.
“Oh, you are unbelievable! He took you in, he saved you, he taught you everything you know, and you think he didn’t care? You think I didn’t care? You think it didn’t hurt, watching you walk away from everything we’d built? Why do you think we never filled your spot? Because Janus was still waiting for you to pull your head out of your ass and come home!”
“I am home. So you can either accept that and stop berating me and my choices and my family, or you can leave.” Remy snatched his glasses, nearly crushing them in his fist, a wicked smile on his face, that had Virgil’s stomach sinking and a chill running up his spine.
“Fine. When you change your mind, you know where to find me. You can change your name all you want, Virgil, but that doesn’t change who you are. You know as well as I do, that you’ll always be part of this coven. You’ll always be Anxiety.” Remy vanished in a puff of smoke, and Virgil stared dumbly where he’d just been standing for a few long moments, before he pressed a hand over his mouth, breath speeding in and out, heart rate racing.
Anxiety. The name echoed in his ears, something he’d tried to forget, someone he’d tried so hard to pretend he’d never been, someone who had been terrible and awful and cruel, someone who would have killed Patton on the spot had they met, regardless of his cheery smile or bubbly personality, regardless of the fact that he was an ethical vampire, regardless of the fact that he had people at home who loved him.
Anxiety wouldn’t have hesitated. Anxiety had done it before, after all, dozens of times. Vampires, werewolves, wraiths, anything non-human was fair game, no matter how well integrated into human society they were, they had still been a threat, a ticking time bomb waiting to blow, and needed to be disarmed before they could do damage.
Anxiety had been saved from the streets when he was a child by Deceit. Adopted into his home, raised with Sleep as an older brother, quickly becoming part of their Coven. He’d excelled at magic, a quick, fast learner. Sleep, his ability to control dreams, to get into people’s minds as they slept and poke around, to hypnotize and trance beings into submission, finding weaknesses and information. Deceit, with his ability to twist lies into truth, to trap people under his siren spell of words, until you would do whatever he said, even if it meant slitting your own throat. Anxiety, his power to move unseen through the shadows, to slip between them and use them, to make his enemies’ fears come to life before their eyes.
Anxiety had been molded, raised, used, by Deceit. He knew this now, he recognized the brainwashing, all the small lies that Deceit had instilled into him, he’d spent years trying to parse out the truth, trying to get that voice out of his head, until only his own was left, he’d spent so much time trying so hard to trust the others, because Deceit was always there, whispering that he was better off alone, whispering that he wasn’t worth their time, whispering how could anyone love you? If only they knew what you’d done, they would never have let you in.
Anxiety had worked so hard to stop being Anxiety, and to just be Virgil. And now, now it was all crumbling down. Because their coven had a reputation. No one had known their identities, no one still did, outside of the three of them, but everyone knew and feared the trio of monster slayers, whispered about them in the night, afraid their words would summon the coven to their door, everyone knew the stories, the speed and brutality with which they dispatched their kills, the count higher every day.
He’d heard the rumors start, after he left, that someone had finally gotten the upper hand, finally slain the shadow Anxiety, and he let them think it. He didn’t care, it was true, in a way, Anxiety was dead, but not at a monster’s hands. He’d been killed by himself, the moment he’d stepped out that door and ran, not looking back. The moment he’d sworn not to use his magic ever again, so they couldn’t trace him, so they couldn’t call on him, so they couldn’t summon him and use him.
It had worked. The bond was still there, would always be there, but Remy hadn’t been able to summon him. Hadn’t been able to call on their bond to force him to help, it was weak, though his use of magic this morning had no doubt given it a little bit of life, not enough to matter. He wouldn’t feed that bond, he wouldn’t give it any strength, he wouldn’t let it get there. He couldn’t.
But they wouldn’t want him anymore. Not now that knew what he was, the monster, he was, not when Pat was a vampire, and they would expect him to snap any moment like a spring coiled too tight, not when there was so much innocent blood on his hands, not when he could be used to find them, to follow them, not if Remy was insistent and kept coming around, not if Remy found Janus-
His stomach flopped at the very idea of seeing him again, of being face to face with him, of his honey sweet words infecting his mind, and he nearly retched at the thought of Janus spinning those lies against the others, driving them all insane. He couldn’t watch that happen, he couldn’t withstand that voice, he would crumble, instantly crumble, and all of the work he’d done wouldn’t mean a thing, because the second those shining gold eyes met his he’d be lost.
And if he couldn’t stand against Janus, then Patton-
So what, if Janus was taken? Maybe he was getting a taste of his own medicine. Maybe Remy was better off without him, with time, his mind would clear and he’d see how they did more harm than good, maybe everything would be fine.  That’s what Anxiety would have done, after all, stood back and watched. Even if Janus was only thralled, that was still a threat to the group’s security, the vampire could use that bond against them, so there would be no coming back even if they rescued him, unless they killed whatever vampire had used him. Which they would, of course, solving that problem.
He was considering this. Gods, he was actually considering this, why was he actually considering this, why did he even give a shit, after everything, why did he still care?
“virgil?” Patton’s voice, small and hesitant, reached through the fog of panic clouding his mind, though he flinched away from Patton’s touch. His heart was pounding out of his chest, and he couldn’t look up, couldn’t see their faces, would stave off the rejection and fear and horror as long as he could. He could feel the sob building in his throat, and he needed to leave, he needed to go, he needed to be anywhere else when he fell apart, because they shouldn’t be obligated to comfort him, when they were just going to kick him out later anyway. He could hear ringing in his ears, could feel something wet on his face, but it was distant and wrong and he needed out, he was backed into a corner and he needed out.
So he did what he always did best. He ran.
He shoved past the others, sprinting down the hall, slamming the door shut and locking it, before scrambling back, eyes darting wildly for somewhere to hide, because this was too open and his mind was screaming ‘danger, not safe,’ when his gaze locked on the closet. He pulled open the sliding door, shoving it closed behind him as he sunk to the ground in the deepest, darkest corner, finally letting a muffled sob tear from his lungs as he curled into himself.

Excerpt: “Did I already told you that I always get what I want?”, he purred before ripping off the dresse’s straps in one go. His lips touched your exposed skin and you inhaled noisily.
Help! It was only a silent cry.
Fifth encounter
Foreign. That was how you felt. In that dress. At this event. With those people. A little lost you stood in the middle of the room with a glass of alcohol someone pressed into your hand. There was only dimmed light but you saw enough to notice a few men were eyeing you. It made your skin crawl.
“Y/N darling. I am happy to see you here.” You automatically turned towards the voice. It was the “boss” in a dark blue suit. He came towards you and pressed a gentle kiss to your cheek alongside with wrapping his arm around your waist.
“H-Hello..ummm.. sir..”, you broke off.  I don’t know his name.
“Yoongi please. I don’t think I presented myself yesterday. Sorry princess, sometimes even I can forget my manners, when I meet such a beautiful person.” He started walking towards a seating area and you were forced to go with him.
“Don’t worry”, you brushed it off nervously.
“How about I make it up to you?”
“There is no need for that, Sir…”
“Yoongi”, he corrected, “But I want to. Just stay by my side for the rest of the evening.”
“But Taehyung said I need to be with the clients.” That name alone get your hackles up. After you came crawling out of your room since you really had no other choice, you swore yourself to never talk a word that is not totally necessary with him.
“Screw what he said. I am still the boss here right?”, he joked and patted to his side to indidcate you to sit down. Yoongi’s casual nature made you relax a little and you sat down.
“What do you want to be in life, princess?”, he focused all his attention on you. The question actually surprised you.
“Umm.. I don’t really know what to answer.”
“Come on. Everyone has a dream. What is your dream?”
You just wanted to open your mouth when another man suddenly appeared on Yoongi’s side and whispered something to his ear. He sighed annoyed.
“Sorry again, princess. Work calls. But remember what you wanted to say and we will come back to it later.” You nodded obediently. “Taehyung will watch over you till I come back.” You would love to protest but you had no chance because Taehyung was already there. You did not know how he managed to be so fast. Maybe he is creeping through the shadows the whole time keeping an eye on Yoongi and yourself. “Don’t let anyone come near her.” Yoongi fixated Taehyung with his gaze till he nodded.
“Excuse me then. I will be back.“ Yoongi left and you stared at your feet awkwardly.
“Do you want to drink some more?”, Taehyung asked.
You continued to stay silent like you promised yourself but you could also felt his piercing look on you.
“Any wishes?” You noticed his foot tapping on the ground. It must be a sign of impatience.
“Fine. I will get us something.” He went away.
You exhaled noisily. I am not good at this shit. You were never the person who remained being mad at anyone for long. Despite how much they hurted you. A bad habit I guess. You were so lost in your thoughts that you have not noticed a man approaching you.
“Hey sexy”, someone let himself fall next to you. You looked up to see the unknown man. “Are you free?”, he laughed where some very yellow teeths were shown. He scooted closer and his hand landed on your knee.
“Umm..actually I am waiting for someone.” You gently shoved his hand down from your leg.
“Noo don’t tell me I am too late for you beauty”, he whispered. His breath smelled of cigarettes. You hated that smell so much you felt like vomiting. His hand landed directly on your breast and he gave it a rough squeeze. You gasped.
“Sir I am sorry but please refrain from touching this lady. I am sure there are enough other women available to any wished service”, you heard Taehyung’s voice from the side and it took a load off your mind. The man stood up to face Taehyung. The problem here was that he was just way smaller. He noticed that as well and swore to himself while leaving.
Taehyung and you looked after the man. He went straight to the next girl. Taehyung huffed before handing you a glass which you took hesitantly. It was only a small “thank you“ you whispered before you focused your attention on the substance in your glass. You took a deep gulp and immediately started coughing. As the liquor burnd down your throat a thought stroke through your mind: Can this evening become even worse?
You got up and made a step when Taehyung’s hand wrapped around your wrist to stop you.
“Where are you going?”
”Imma go to the bathroom”, you informed him annoyed. You lost your balance shortly so Taehyung had to support you or else you would have fallen onto him.
“Are you alright?”, he sounded sincerely concerned which surprisingly led into you giggling like a small girl.
“Why should YOU care?”, you emphazised before walking away and leaving him behind.
It was a stupid idea to drink so much. You realized it as you sat down on the toilet and everything felt like spinning. You rested your head against the cold bathroom wall and exhaled. What do you got yourself into Y/N? What is all of this? I want to go home. A single tear escaped from the corner of your eye and ran down your cheek. You quickly wiped it off and stood up. You fiddled a little with the lock but then the door snapped open. You washed your hands and stared into the mirror. If I want to go home, I will go home. It is so easy. You exited the bathroom with the serious intention of running away.
The next thing you remember was someone pressing you into the corner of the corridor.
“Hey there. I prefer talking to you without your watchdog.” It was the man from before. Everything went so fast you could not really follow it in your tipsy state. He may be smaller than Taehyung but he was taller than you. And wider. His hands were wrapped around your arms and held them pressed against the wall behind you. The rest of his body was touching yours in every possible way. You felt like there wasn’t even any space left for you to breath.
“Did I already told you that I always get what I want?”, he purred before ripping off the dresse’s straps in one go. His lips touched your exposed skin and you inhaled noisily.
Help! It was only a silent cry because somehow there was no tone leaving your lips. Since the dress had been so tight you did not wear a bra. You horribly regretted that now because it meant you were half naked already. His teeth sank down into your neck. The pain made you unfreeze and you started writhing out of his grip. But every move you made felt like his hands wrapped tighter around your arm so you were sure there will be marks. You stopped since the pain became unbearable. He shifted so he was holding both of your arms in one hand and the free hand sneaked under your skirt. He brushed against your inner thigh further upwards. His finger yanked into the band of your thong and he ripped them apart as well.
That was the moment It felt like all of your body went numb. This is not happening to me. You distanced yourself till you were safely tucked away in that body shell of yours. Nothing could reach you. What a great feeling.
I never wrote something like this and I hate myself a bit for that cliffhanger…
Thank you @hyewondobre @baekyeoljesse that you anticipated this ♥ You all have a nice day/night and stay tuned!

C12 - Don't Kiss & Tell
Tumblr media
Song: dRuNK by Zayn Malik
Navaya
Gasping out of another bad dream, I sat up right looking out my window. It was thundering constantly with lighting cracking loudly. Even though Jason left me to spend time with Mali. He had his housekeeping crew behind for anything I needed, but they left around ten. I looked at my phone next to me realizing it was almost three in the morning. I was home alone in this big ass house and felt the bad feelings coming back, when I used to live with my uncle. With it being friday already, I automatically felt my brain going back to what I was thinking before I fell asleep. Picking some type of time to tell Julius about the cure that stayed in my dresser here in the room. Another crackle of thunder made me jump as I clenched the sheets over my head. Pondering on whether I should call Trent or Mali, I figured they were probably sleep. I knew that I wouldn’t be able to go back to sleep until the storm passed, so I decided to get something to drink downstairs. Only problem was I was kind of terrified being in this mansion alone, going that far to get something to drink. Taking a deep breath I pulled the covers off of my bare legs, showing only my pajama shorts and matching t shirt. Stepping out of bed I, walked to the bedroom door peeking out into the hall. Every so often lightening would light the area showing no one there. Finally stepping out into the hall I made my way to the stairs going to the first floor. Holding my torso with both arms I slowly walked to the kitchen, using my phones flashlight to see. As I got closer to the kitchen I noticed the patio doors that lead to the backyard was open. I didn’t leave them open, and I know the housekeepers wouldn’t. Immediately I went into panic mode, unlocking my phone to call the police. Someone was here and I backed up to the wall looking around while I tried to find the dial pad on my phone. But my fingers were shaking out of fear. I dropped my phone.
“Fuck.” I muttered under my breath bending down to pick up my phone, but when I did it was gone.
“What the?” I breathed looking up to see a dark figure standing in front of me.
“Navaya, chill out its only me.” Dev looked down at me holding my phone in one hand and a spliff in the other. Grabbing my chest I looked at my phone and back to him seeing his handsome features better every time lighting flashed.
“Dev, what are you doing here?” I asked trying to sound annoyed but I was glad he was here and not someone else.
“Jason wanted me to look over you while he was away, Trent and Anastasia is here too. I was just outside smoking.” He told me handing over my phone.
“Where are they?” I asked, looking around. “In the movie room downstairs.” He told me. With a smirk on his face he took a slow pull from his spliff, “We didn’t want to wake you, that’s why ya didn’t know we were here.” He explained. Shaking my head I began walking to the kitchen, taking another deep breath.
“You were scared huh?” He asked, I turned around to look at him taking a pull of his spliff eyeing me and what I had on.
“No.” I lied hiding behind the island so he could stop staring at my pajamas.
“Yeah, right.” He chuckled blowing smoke across the kitchen. I ignored him going in the refrigerator for a bottle of water.
“Think what you want, I would’ve been fine.” I tried to play off my fear of being alone.
“Vaya.” Dev spoke calm and low. My body got hot in the fact that he had his own nickname for me. I turned around looking at him sitting at the island leaning back staring at me. He had that look in his eyes, it made me so nervous.
“Huh?” I spoke closing the refrigerator door and leaned up against the counter.
“It’s okay to admit when you’re scared, besides you can’t hide nothing from me,” He blowed smoke leaning up on his elbows, “That’s why we are all here, you not alone, not anymore.“
"Thanks, but i’m alright.” I shrugged. Dev chuckled at me leaning back in his chair. Putting out his blunt in his hand he shook his head at me, “So stubborn."
"Shut up.” I muttered walking out the kitchen, deciding to go back to sleep since the storm finally died down. Dev was quiet then without a response so I figured he would remain in the kitchen, since he all of a sudden knew so much about me. Walking back upstairs I made it to my room turning on my bedroom light.
“Why do you have this?” Dev ask sitting on my bed with my black vibrator in his hand. Horrified I ran up to him snatching it out of his hands with ease.
“Dev what the fuck, don’t you know about personal privacy and space.” I yelled at him my heart feeling like it was about to explode. With a calm face he just looked up at me adorably. I didn’t even wrap my mind around the fact that he was suddenly in my room, I didn’t even see him go past me.
"I do.“ He spoke lowly, "I was just wondering since I sat on it when my ass made contact with your bed."
"Honestly that’s none of your business and why are you even in my room?” I huffed at him turning away to put my vibrator up in my drawer underneath my underwear.
"I mean, thought we were cool, didn’t think you would freak out. Not like i’m your fuckin’ boyfriend or anything.“ Dev sighed standing to his feet, "Ill just leave if I’m bothering you that much."
"Wait,” I stopped him before he walked out, “I don’t have school tomorrow, could stay up for a little longer.” Turning back towards me he began to walk back by my bed, “You act like you never had a guy in your bedroom before."
Only my uncle ever got to make that as a horror for me, I cringed a little. Ignoring the half truth in his words I just got in bed while he sat at the end of it, leaning back on his elbows. He looked like he was ready for a photo shoot at any moment.
"What’s up Dev.” I stated having a feeling he needed to talk.
“Listen, I only feel comfortable with talking to you about this shit, cuz you and I have….” He trailed off, but I knew what he meant.
“I know,” I nodded having him look over at me, “Just continue and tell me,” I told him. Shaking his head he went on.
"Trent and Anastasia, I think that they like each other more than friends. Even though they’re not related, they still belong to the same clan.“ He told me.
"But if they are in the same clan and both vampires what’s the problem?” I asked him.
“Nothing in the clans eyes, but to me I don’t know if I can accept it. What makes it even more weird is, the whole time of looking over Trent he never approached or seem interested in any human girl."
"Maybe, Trent is meant to just be with his own kind.” I shrugged. “I don’t believe in that.” Dev replied solemnly leaning all the way down on my bed, he looked up at the ceiling. His broad chest rose every so often, flexing out the t shirt he had on.
“Why not?” I asked, sliding his head in my direction he closed his eyes.
“I just don’t.” He stated. “Did you have a relationship with your kind?” I asked curiously.
“Yeah only one,” Dev replied opening his eyes again placing them on me,“Didn’t work out."
"Sometimes we’re just meant to be with who we’re meant to be with.” I concluded. Sitting up Dev mugged me.
“I thought you were supposed to be agreeing with me here.” He leaned closer to me raising an eyebrow.
“Trent is my best friend, I haven’t ever seen him with a girl he likes so I’m happy for him.” I shrugged.
“Sell out.” Dev muttered making me chuckle. “You aren’t the only one to witness him always being single.” I laid against my headboard.
“Yeah speaking of single, If you went ahead and gave Julius the fuckin’ cure you wouldn’t need that damn plastic shit.” Dev looked over at me with a evil grin on his lips.
“Oh my gosh, would you stop being obsessed with my vibrator.” I sighed putting my face in the palms of my hands.
“I didn’t say I was obsessed.” He shook his head, “Anyways I’ve watched over Ana all her life since her clan abandoned her, so she’s like a little sister to me. Trent is like a little brother to me, I just don’t know what to do.” He spoke sounding glum again.
“Accept it.” I told him.
“Easier said than down Vaya.” He smirked at me.
“When did you come up with that nickname for me?” I asked him, he shrugged looking at me.
“I don’t know. What you don’t like it?” He asked with a pout of his pink lips.
“Didn’t say that, Devvy-poo.” I smiled at him, he gave me a blank stare.
“Please don’t call me that.” He huffed at me. I started laughing at him.
“What’s so funny in here?” Anastasia walked in leaning against the wall, Trent was behind her coming inside my room.
“Nothing at all.” Dev answered, “You about to head out Tre?”
“Yeah man.” Trent replied dapping him up, “See ya Vay.”
“Good night Tre.” I nodded.
“So Dev did you tell Navaya about-” “Anastasia, you’re staying here tonight.” Dev cut her off automatically.
“Dev are fucking serious?” She protested.
“Yes, I’m fuckin serious,” He responded, “Goodnight.”
“Whatever.” She muttered walking out the room behind Trent, “Panties in a bunch about an ex.”
“Told you she gets on my damn nerves.” Dev spoke under his breath.
“They are young Dev, and-”
“No, you the virgin to all bases cannot say shit about my rules.” He chuckled at me.
“Excuse me I am not-”
“Have you gone past first base with a guy?” He asked me.
“No, I admitted looking down at my hands.” I bit my bottom lip.
“Exactly. Who knows what the hell they did in the movie room.” Dev sighed. Seeing how quiet I was he looked back over at me.
“I wasn’t trying to hurt your feelings.” Dev mumbled at me.
“No, you’re okay it’s the truth. But the bright side is It’s a sure fact that Julius is a virgin so… it’s whatever.” I shrugged.
“Right.” Dev sighed, “Well if you ever need any advice…”
“Dev.” I laughed at him.
“What?” He asked confused.
“Nothing.” I sighed, with a yawn, “What was Anastasia saying about an ex?”
“Nothing, just talking out the side of her mouth. Imma let you go to sleep, and make sure Anastasia still in this damn house.” He muttered standing to his feet,
“Thanks for the advice, nite.”
“Night Dev.” I smiled at him as he turned my light switch out.
“You gonna be alright with Julius.” He chucked up his deuces and closed my door behind him. Before drifting off to sleep, my mind focused on what Dev had said. He didn’t see his kind as someone to be with, and it confused me. Could it be why he didn’t do relationships?

After brushing my teeth and showering I threw on some clothes deciding to go eat some cereal. It was ten in the morning as I went downstairs, the sun shined through the open living room. Sprawled out on the couch was Dev with his mouth slanted open, peacefully sleeping. I held in my giggle at how he laid on his back on the couch with one leg dangling off the top of the couch and an arm leaning off the edge. His shirt was on the floor letting me view every tattoo he had and his chiseled body. It suddenly had me in a daze as his chest rose up in down not making a peep in his slumber. Here I thought vampires didn’t sleep and he was knocked out. It made me wonder why he even needed sleep. Snapping myself out of staring I headed to the kitchen, deciding on some cocoa puffs. Pouring my milk after I did my cereal, I got up to get a spoon out of the sliding drawer. Turning back to my cereal Dev sat at the island with his chin in his hand watching me.
“Jesus, could you at least talk when you enter a room.” I deeply breathed trying to control my heart. Standing there for a second I took another deep breath before taking a seat in front of my cereal bowl. Saying grace privately I opened my eyes to see Dev looking at my bowl of puffs.
“My bad.” He spoke with squinty eyes.
“So, can I ask a question about your eating habits?” I asked looking up at him slowly. Dev licked over his bottom lip squinting at me again before relaxing his eyes.
“I don’t eat off of people if that’s what you’re wondering.” He told me.
“Then what do you do to keep yourself fed, and is Trent…-”
“Don’t worry I have Trent on the same diet as me, we use blood bags from Jason’s company.” He answered sincerely.
“Oh, so you already have eaten?” I asked looking in my cereal bowl.
“In a little bit.” He looked down at the table making imaginary circles on it with the top of his pointer finger, “It’s like my coffee.”
“I was just wondering.” I admitted curiously.
“Anymore questions?” He asked looking up at me.
“No, I’m good for now.” I nodded taking another scoop of cereal in my mouth.
“You sure?” He smiled at me with a cheeky grin.
“Uh huh.” I mumbled in between chews, he absentmindedly sat up in his chair stretching out his shoulder. Moving my eyes away from his body I looked down at my cereal taking another scoop.
“I guess since your bestie back with Jason, you stuck with me until Julius get here?” Dev asked confusing me. “What you mean until Julius gets here?” I stopped chewing looking upon his boyish smile that slowly crept across his face.
“Dev.” I scoffed dropping my cereal spoon in my bowl. “Navaya it’s time.” He told me standing to his feet, “Either it happens today or the cure will be taken from you. Daniel’s final words.”
“Ok.” I sighed looking up at him. He nodded eventually walking off, leaving me with my final thoughts.

Sitting on the couch, I saw Dev come downstairs looking freshly showered and good. I had to admit my best friend knew how to dress no matter what he was doing. Even if he was being match maker for the day. Finally seeing him come downstairs meant that Julius would be here and I began to get more nervous. That blood he compared as coffee really made him look refreshed and good.
“What you gawking at?” Dev asked coming into the living room, darting his eyes between his phone in his hand and me.
“Nothing, you just look nice.” I complimented him with a small grin, “And your hair is growing back.”
Scoffing Dev squinted one eye at me, “Stop being gay Vaya.”
“How is that being gay, it’s a compliment.” I shrugged up at him.
“Stay focused on the task today, Julius will be here any minute.” He crossed his arms at me with a smirk.
“Fine, don’t look for any more compliments from me.” I said shaking my head at his foolishness.
“Ha, yeah right girl. Know I’m fine as fuck.” He wriggled his eyebrows at me with a smile.
“Now you being gay.” I muttered standing up out my seat on the couch. Dev chuckled as his phone rang, he placed it to his ear.
“Hello?” He answered rubbing the back of his neck with his free hand, “Alright Ill be there.” Placing his phone back in his pocket he looked up at me, “I’m about to go handle some business, I want a good report from you when I get back tonight. Prob around 1 am so you know it’s me with your scary ass.”
“Dev shut up and just go.” I rolled my eyes at him. He smiled at me with his raising his hand for me to take it.
“You got this.” He spoke lower squeezing my hand a little. I nodded at him, “Thanks I hope so.”
“Alright.” He nodded back before departing towards the garage. Looking at the time on my phone it was almost twelve, and I decided making some pizza rolls would make this time with Julius a little better. I hoped.

While the third iron man movie played on the TV, Julius and I ignored it making out. My body felt so hot, I didn’t have any concern with anything else. Gripping my thighs he squeezed them tight with every second of his sweet kisses on my lips.
“You’re so soft.” He whispered smiling in between kisses. I giggled at him clenching the back of his neck with both hands. Going to my neck he began to linger in one spot kissing relentlessly on me. Before I gave up on why he was really here, I fought how he was making me feel.
“Jul,” I breathed as he laid on top of me rubbing a hand through my hair, “Wait.”
“What’s wrong?” He asked stopping to look in my face. Taking a breather I moved him off so I could sit up. Leaning close to me he kissed my lips softly once, rubbing his nose against mine. Kissing my nose he leaned away from me,“Wassup?”
“I need to talk to you about something?” I told him moving my leg off his left one.
“Tell me.” He spoke seriously leaning back on the couch, his full attention on me.
“Jason, has these doctors professional in making an experimental drug for the cure of aids.” I told him with my eyes closed. Julius grabbed my chin with his warm hand, “Navaya, open your eyes.”
Slowly I raised up my eyelids looking into his soft stare on me.
“You’re trying to save my life now? I couldn’t ask for a more awesome first girlfriend.” He smiled at me leaning in to kiss me.
“Wait so, you aren’t like not gonna do it?” I asked him.
“Is it FDA approved yet?” He asked.
“No.” I blinked waiting for his response.
“So this would be illegal.” He figured out. Not knowing it was also unimaginable to the human mind.
“Yeah.” I nodded.
“You know what the side effects are?” He looked in my eyes. Here comes the half lying.
“Nausea, dizzy ness you know the usual stuff they say in those commercials for non over the counter drugs… the doctors will explain more to you about it.” I nodded at him with a dry chuckle. After a while Julius got silent, he stood to his feet and looked out the patio doors.
“I have something to tell you too Navaya.” He spoke with his back to me.
“What?” I asked waiting.
“At doctors my appointment, they told me I only have like a month left. After that I’m supposed to stop treatment, and…”
“Well then you have try this.” I stood looking at the back of his precious head.
“Yeah, I know and I want to. Might as well I’m dying anyways right?” He chuckled looking back at me. I stood there my heart feeling like it was beating out of my chest knowing this couldn’t be prolonged anymore.

Trent
Sitting at the kitchen island of my condo, Anastasia had her right hand clenching my thigh. Staring in my eyes with her pretty brown ones she had a smile of lust and I was tempted couldn’t lie. Licking over her top lip smoothly, she took another sip of blood never unlocking our gaze. It was going on almost ten and we had spent the whole day of shopping, her teaching me french words every now and then in her sexy french accent. I couldn’t have picked a more beautiful woman to wait and spend so much time with. What put the cherry on top is that everything that I was going through as a new vampire she could relate. It made being attracted to her even more stronger. We had been holding out going physical at all, only because it wasn’t really my area of expertise. Anastasia was so confident I was glad that I was a vampire anyways, probably would break me if I wasn’t. She had a hundred years on me so I knew she would be knowing what she was doing, probably had some tricks of her own. Leaning closer to me she connected her forehead with mine, a small smile slowly inching on her plump glossed lips. My front door then bursted open, and I saw Micah and Allister walk in. In no time I saw Dev come in with his hands behind his back, eyes a light golden color looking upon us. Anastasia without turning around moved away from me taking another sip of her drink. While the twins stayed by my foyer, Dev walked in my kitchen snatching the glass from Anastasia. It was empty now as he sniffed inside it. Raising an eyebrow Dev looked to me then back to Ana.
“Seems like Tre here is rubbing off on you Ann.” Dev spoke crossing his arms over his chest.
“Ya think?” She sarcastically responded leaning back in her seat, glaring at Dev. Doing a deep sigh, Dev rubbed the back of his neck looking up at us while putting the glass down on the counter.
“Look, I know y'all are attracted to each other.” He started, making the vibe awkward, but we remained silent, “And I know that Ana has talked to you Tre about our clan in France.”
“Yeah.” I nodded at him. “There are some things, I need to take care of before we leave the country, and then I promise you will go meet your family.” Dev swore looking me in the eyes. He never has let me down since meeting him, so I believed every word.
“Okay.” I blinked looking over at Ana who smiled at me.
“You two have my blessing, jus don’t over do the fuckin’ PDA around me.” Dev huffed with a snort, and then he began to walk out my condo, “Goodnight.”
“Night.” Ana and I said in unison. With that they left and Ana and I were alone again. She stood smoothing out her dress leaning into me. Her mouth made connection with my ear as she whispered softly, “Let’s have some fun.”

Navaya
Watching some TV I heard a weird sound, making me turn the TV down all the way. I looked at the TV guide time to see it was two minutes to one in the morning. Standing to my feet I looked behind the couch to the front of the house.
“Dev if that’s you stop playing around.“ I yelled, but no one answered. There was a whoosh making my heart skip, before me was a pretty young woman gazing at me. Thin, almost pale, with brown eyes of fire. A big smile plastered her lips as she began to walk around the couch sizing me up and down.
"Who are you?” I asked her, but she continued staring at me. Placing a finger tip in her mouth she continued smiling.
“You must be her, how did it feel?” She asked me bluntly.
“What?” I asked in confusion. My heart began to pound, realizing that his woman had to be a vampire. She was to beautiful to be human, I swallowed hard not knowing if it was safer to stand still or try to call for help.
“Don’t even think about trying to slip your phone out your pocket, that would be a mistake. Navaya.” She devilishly smiled at me. Crossing my arms over my chest I shook my head at her.
“Great, so you know all about me. Who I am. Think that’s fair?” I sneered at her squinting my eyes. Turning her head to the side at me she turned up her lip at me, “I’m Carmen, Dev’s ex.”
“Oh.” I breathed, feeling awkward as hell. Wish I knew what she wanted. All I could bet on is that Dev felt me calling out to him, and that he fulfilled his promise on being here in the next minute before this vampire killed me.

Y/N draped her hand gently over Sam’s cotton-covered chest, letting her fingers sneak underneath his arm, careful not to tickle him too badly. She was ever conscious of his sensitive spots and used them only when it was to her utmost advantage. Now was not one of those times.
He wasn’t asleep, just still, and Y/N felt him shift against her, turning slightly to fold his arms around her. His lips grazed the top of her head and she let out a sigh against his neck.
“You awake?” she whispered, knowing full well that he was.
Sam made a little noise of admission and turned fully onto his side to face her. The bed was smaller than usual, the entire motel room was, honestly, but she didn’t mind being so cramped. Not when she was cramped with Sam.
“Good.” Y/N bit her lip and dropped her hand from his side, slowly dragging her fingers down his hard body and hooking them into his boxers.
“What’re you doing?” he asked under his breath, a smile painting his words.
Y/N snuck inside his shorts and cupped her hand. “What do you think?”
His giant hand closed around her wrist and pulled her quickly from the promised land. “Y/N/N, come on…”
Her whisper was fierce but low. “What! Come on, Sam. I’m...ya know. Let’s… ya know.”
“Not tonight,” he sighed. “Save it. We’ll be home tomorrow.”
“I don’t want to save it. I want to do it now.”
“Dean’s right there,” he said firmly, nodding towards the bed behind her.
As if on cue, Dean let out a loud, rumbling snore and Y/N shook her head.
“Who cares? He’s asleep.” She tried to twist her wrist from his grasp, but he held her tight.
“He’ll wake up,” he warned. “You’re too damn loud.”
Y/N gasped in exaggerated offense. “That’s a lie!”
“Is it?”
Even in the dark, she could see his sassy frown.
“OK, fine. I’m loud. But I can be quiet.”
Sam kissed her forehead and patted her shoulder condescendingly. “No, you can’t.”
“Wanna bet?”
He laughed quietly. “Fine.” His grip on her hand released and Sam pushed her shoulder, forcing Y/N onto her back. “But one noise, I mean...a single peep out of you and I stop.”
“Got it, Chief,” she teased, already squirming in anticipation as he settled against her.
Sam lay a huge hand on her stomach as he stared down into her eyes. “I mean it. Not a sound. Absolute silence.”
Y/N took a deep, calming breath and sealed her lips shut. She nodded quickly and tried to hide her smile.
Sam dropped his chin and hovered over her lips for a moment. “Good.”
His kiss was slow, deep, the kind that shut her eyes and made her hips roll unconsciously. She let out a long breath when he let her go, lips parted and reaching up for his.
Sam grinned and nodded approvingly before moving on. The hand on her stomach slid further south, fingertips grazing the top of her pelvis teasingly. Y/N sucked in a breath and held it, waiting, praying he’d drop the inches and realize how terribly wet and needy she was already.
He kept his cool, pawing at her gently, barely touching her skin as his lips pulsed at her jaw. This breath howled in her ear like an oncoming storm; hot and loud, knocking out everything else.
A tiny rumble hit the back of her throat, but Y/N quickly swallowed it down; her eyes flying open as she caught herself before disaster struck.
Sam noticed her flinch and smiled against her throat. “Silence,” he reminded her in the barest of whispers.
She swallowed hard and tried to stay calm, but as soon as she found the peaceful lake in her mind, Sam’s giant hand slipped down to cover her pussy, pressing firmly upwards against her. Her thighs slammed shut on his wrist and her teeth gnashed painfully.
Pride beamed in his eyes as Sam sat up a bit to look into her face, watching the pained twitches of her eyes and jaw as he snuck his fingers up inside her shorts. Skin grazed damp flesh and Y/N’s eyes rolled back.
“Oh, that feels good, doesn’t it?” he teased; deep voice barely above a breath.
Y/N bit her tongue and nodded as his heel rubbed at her clit.
“I bet it does. You’re soaked.” Sam’s middle finger pushed inside her cunt and Y/N’s shoulders lifted from the bed.
Her lips were bruising from her own teeth, cheeks near to bleeding as Sam slowly fucked her on his expert fingers, working her up into a silent frenzy.
Somewhere outside a car was starting, a hungry motel resident fed quarters into a broken vending machine, the neon sign buzzed loud and bright. But inside room twenty-seven, all was silent but for Dean’s snoring and Y/N’s slow but heated breaths.
When Sam felt her spasm on his fingers, he pulled away, gently urging her to lift her hips as he pulled the shorts down around her knees. The bedsprings creaked as he squirmed out of his boxers and fit between her legs, still kicking away cotton and trying not to rock the bed frame.
Her eyes were wide, her lips parted, but nothing came out. Sam smiled and licked at her open mouth, tasting her heat, watching as her eyes fluttered closed. She kissed him hard, lifting her hands to wrap around the back of his neck and hold him there as his hips pushed her thighs apart.
“Don’t...breathe,” he told her, slowly rocking his hips forward to press his cock against her. “Silence.”
Y/N took a quick breath and held it, her entire body tightening as Sam dipped into her slick cunt. She dented her bottom lip as she held in the moan, wanting so to scream out and let him know how big he was, how good it felt to be wrecked by his monster cock.
She let out a hiss by accident as he bottomed out suddenly, the depth of his thrust nearly stopping her heart.
In the next bed, Dean stirred, rolling over onto his stomach and wiping his mouth on the pillow.
Sam looked down with a disapproving glare, but Y/N distracted him with a wet kiss, drawing him closer as her fingers tangled in his hair. He hit his stride, snapping his hips with mind-numbing force, edging her closer to another pop of pleasure.
Y/N did all she could not to make any noise, biting at Sam’s lips as well as her own, holding her breath until her lungs strained, clawing at his neck and shoulders as a distraction. Odd thing was, the more she kept the noises inside, the more her body reacted to his touch. Every muscle was shaking, every nerve on fire. She wanted to cum again, to scream and moan and ride his cock until her brains leaked out of her cunt. But she kept it all inside. Holding back as long as she could.
Sam watched her internal struggle with keen eyes. The more she held back, the more he pushed her, wanting to win, wanting her to break and cry out. He wanted to hear her scream his name, feel her body clench and twist against him as she howled into the dark.
Cheating, or maybe just because he was ready to blow, Sam dropped his right hand down between them and rubbed soft but fast against her swollen clit.
Y/N slapped him hard, trying not to make any noise, nearly breaking her jaw as she clenched her teeth tight.
He rubbed a little faster as he thrust and Y/N lifted her lips to Sam’s, biting his tongue harder than either would have liked.
Dean coughed in his sleep and turned his head, burying his face in the crook of his elbow.
Ripping away from her entrenched fingernails, Sam sat up on his knees and grabbed her hips, pulling them upwards. The new angle made Y/N choke around a cry but Sam wasn’t done yet. With a devilish smirk, he brought his hand down onto her clit, slapping her quickly. She bit the insides of her cheeks; the familiar taste of iron hitting her tongue.
Another crack of his flat palm and Y/N lost it, squeaking out a pained cry as she came, squirting around his cock.
Dean rolled over again and Sam clamped his hand down on her mouth, pushing her into the mattress as he finished; keeping her silent once more as he came.
Y/N licked her wetness from his palm while Sam came down, finally setting her free and rolling back onto his side next to her.
“I told you I could be quiet,” she said, gasping. “Fuck. It’s exhausting behind so quiet for so long.”
“You did pretty good,” he agreed, punching his pillow before falling onto it. “But you lost.”
Y/N startled. “What! I did not!”
Sam shrugged and nodded. “You did. You screamed at the end there.”
Her eyes narrowed with accusation. “You slapped my clit!”
“Because that always makes you scream.”
Y/N huffed. “So this was rigged from the jump. You asshole.”
“For fuck’s sake, can you keep it down!” Dean’s annoyed voice boomed through the room as he shot up and hit Y/N’s ass with his pillow. “I’m trying to sleep.”
She turned, embarrassed and grinned innocently. “Sorry?”
“You two need to get your own room next time,” he grumbled, snatching his pillow back and cuddling it against his chest. “Sitting here talking about slapping body parts and all your nastiness. Just screw or shut up about it.”
Sam and Y/N exchanged a silent laugh as Dean grumbled himself back to sleep.
“OK,” Y/N whispered, “I guess we both lost.”
“Nope,” Sam argued with a slick smile. “We won.”
