"Wait, where's (Name)?"

Zoro was the first to notice your absence when the group met up in the town square, looking around worriedly. Even he and Luffy had found their way here before you, which never happened.

"Maybe she lost track of time?" Robin suggested. "She's probably in one of these shops."

After a while of looking around and asking shopkeepers about you, though, they had no luck finding you. Until a pale, eerily skinny girl came running from the forest, attracting the townspeople's attention.

"The king has chosen his bride!" She cried out, then collapsed.

The Straw Hats were confused. What happened to her, and who was this 'king'? Also where did she come from and why did all the villagers look frightened by her words? Questioning a few of them yielded nothing except 'vampire'.

"Wait a minute..." Nami started, frowning. "That must be (Name)!"

"What?" Zoro demanded, almost growling.

"Well, think of it, she's been gone so long and it's odd for her to be the last one to come back. Maybe that's because she was kidnapped by this king."

"Oh hell no," Zoro grumbled, "He is NOT marrying MY girlfriend. Only I can do that."

Before the other Straw Hats could even react to that, the green-haired swordsman was trudging up the hill and entering the forest. They hastily followed, giving each other uneasy looks as they got to the spooky castle.

"Give me back my woman!" Zoro was yelling at someone, "The only person who's going to marry her is me!"

Your eyes widened at his words, a blush falling over your cheeks as you watched your boyfriend challenge the annoyed vampire beside you.

"She was taken by the vampire king," someone behind them spoke. The couple rushed off, frightened by the newcomer. Ace turned to see a young woman coming towards him and Marco. She held an umbrella over her head, despite the sun being out.

"Um...vampire king?" The commander questioned.

"He takes a woman once every few years, marries them and turns them, and then leaves them," she explained. "So if you've lost your friend and can't find her anywhere in town, that must be where she is." The woman's tone was sad, as if she knew this from experience.

"Thank you," Ace nodded and sprinted off before Marco could protest or suggest telling Whitebeard what happened.

"Ace! You don't even know where he lives!"

Somehow, Ace found the place and by the time Marco had caught up with the pissed 2nd division commander he saw Ace challenging a man who was holding you hostage. This must have been the vampire king.

"Give her back!" Ace was aggressively demanding, flames dancing along his arms and legs, his eyes just as fiery. "If she's going to be anyone's wife, she'll be my wife!"

Bepo was outraged, but Law held him back, "Wedding? I haven't planned one with her yet, but I appreciate you letting us use your facilities for it."

But you should have really done your research first, because apparently women disappeared a lot on this island, but the islanders wouldn't tell Kaku why or where you had gone. "She will be no one's bride but mine," the CP9 assassin growled, drawing his swords.

Luffy's eyes widened then, realising just now what he had said. He shot to his feet, head whipping around wildly as if that would help him locate you, "Where's (Name)?! Is she in there?"

The crew groaned collectively, knowing that Luffy was about to get them into possibly another life-threatening fight. However, before that could happen, the doors swung open and you walked out, but you were not alone. A tall, pale man was with you, a wicked grin on his face as his eyes gleamed red.

"Bride?!" Nami and Sanji screeched in unison, followed by Sanji fainting.

You were the new seamstress of the Straw Hat Pirates (A role Luffy thought would be cool, since you could always make clothes on the go and funny disguises)

You spent your days in your room separate from Nami and Robin, since your materials took more space. You made different clothes for different occasions. You spent your time mostly locked in your room, since you couldn’t really help physically with the Straw Hats, so you focused on your craft.

The only times you would come out was if Nami forced you to go on a shopping spree with her and Robin, and for meals.

Two people had a really big problem with your habit of staying indoors.

The swordsman who wanted you to go outside more in order to be more healthy, and the cook who wanted you to be nourished with food and enjoy the world.

Zoro and Sani always fight over everything. Literally, you can’t stop them at all from throwing hands at each other. But when it came to you, oh.

To Sanji’s dismay, the treats Sanji taught you how to make found its way into Zoro’s mouth. Knowing how to bake, you gave little protein treats to Zoro to eat after he completed his workout.

Zoro always accepted your little snacks, eating it right in front of Sanji and explicitly stating it was from you, just to make the cook jealous.

Sanji wasn’t necessarily losing the bet though. You now spent a quarter of your day with Zoro, and now baking with Sanji. You could be found in the kitchen learning a new recipe with Sanji, cracking jokes and creating beautiful snacks and treats.

You were completely oblivious to the fact they were doing all of this just to get you out of your room because they loved you, so you relished in getting a good workout with Zoro, and having fun with Sanji.

You’d make oven mitts for Sanji, as you were heavily concerned how he took a steaming hot tray out of the oven so haphazardly. Now, he would always use the oven mitts you knitted for him.

You’d also make Zoro gloves, since his knuckles always gets red when he fights during harsh temperatures.

So may I please request angst to fluff with Sanji where reader (female please) and Sanji had a fight about something (you can choose and they are together) and then the next day they were ambushed by the marines, reader saw that there was a marine about to creep up to Sanji and she took the hit for Sanji, it was kind of a big slash to the stomach and reader fainted after a while because of the loss of blood and Sanji got angry and began fighting more aggresively? Timeskip after the whole thing Chopper patches up the reader but Chopper said its gonna leave a scar on her body (specifically the stomach). Sanji felt so guilty and keeps apologizing to the reader and reader said that its okay and some other comforting words to Sanji and eventually also says sorry about the fight they had the day before. He acted differently.

The once love-sick cook had no longer any desire for anybody besides you, confusing the rest of the crew. He no longer ran after Nami or Robin, simply treating them like he did with the rest of the crew; competent and helpful. His spare time would be swooning over you and granting your every wish, making his priorities realign to appease his girl.

Nothing was too big or too small for him.

That was why, as you docked onto the island of Goruden for supplies, your relationship turned an unexpected sour.

It was a beautiful island, full of warmth and depth, casting every inch of the land in a glow from the sun. And much like the land itself, the people were just as beautiful.

You had taken off with Sanji in tow, heading towards the markets for a restock of food and drinks; a few crew mates tagging along with the hopes of promised luxuries. Sanji reluctantly let go of your hand, for mere moments, assisting the women as he struggled to hold her basket of overflowing fruits. The sickening crack in Sanji's voice returned, knowing he was in awe of the women in front of him. His stomach tied in knots the moment he realised what he had done, almost in a trance by her aura, unbeknown he was doing it until it was too late. The look on your face as he watched you sink further behind the swordsman broke his heart. This game of avoidance continued through the day, carrying into the late hours of the night aboard the ship. It was agreed to venture in the morning, leaving the island, giving into the night to rest; sleeping apart from your usual shared bed with Sanji.

Sanji did, however, continue bombarding you with displays of love, hoping to persuade you to come back to him, but his efforts were met short. You had watch the man you love fall back on his estranged love-struck patterns he promised were behind him, making your mind up to sit in the loathing bitterness of your hurt.

Word quickly spread of a pirates arrival to the island, prompting a worried call for marines to surround the ship early into the hours of the morning. It was a heavy blow, drunkenly guiding yourself to the deck just before sunrise, watching your friends already mid battle. Heavy clatters of swords and fired bullets rumbled your hearing, quickly snapping into action to join in the weave of intense crowd to defend your honoured ship.

A sharp snap of blond hair and fire shifted your attention, recognising Sanji's perfectly poised mannerism even in the midst of a fight. Meeting his bright blue eyes you exchanged a silent word, both relieved of each others safety in that moment; still bearing love for one another. Distracted for mere moments, Sanji's position became vulnerable, letting an open on his left switch your attention to the sword coming down towards him.

Your overall skill of endurance surpassed the likes of your boyfriend, quickening your reflexes for a perfect wing of defence to your crew. Snapping into action you took off, racing against the wielded marine to reach the still unsuspecting Sanji.

As you collided with the marine, you disarmed him with a few simple manoeuvres, relieved of your quick defences. He hit the deck in front of you, instantly passing out from the blow which deemed unusually large for someone of your size.

Dusting yourself off you looked back at Sanji, furrowing your brow upon his sickened look.

Dazed in shock you zoned out, feeling your body shake into the likes of a collapse. Fluttering your eyes you tried to mumble out your confusion, not grasping how the marine managed to reach you in time to cause such a heavy injury. However, your efforts were met short, your body giving in under the loss of blood and soon passing out in Sanji’s arms.

You awoke groggily on your back, fluttering up at the familiar ceiling of the infirmary. Your body rose in a searing pain, targeting your tightly bandaged abdomen, forcing you to groan out. Your voice prompted the answer of two voices, those of people you recognised well, turning your head towards the sounds.

Chopper and Sanji sat by your side, both exchanging a mixed look of relief and joy, leaning in towards your groggy state.

Squeezing gently you slid your hand in his, intertwining your fingers. It felt almost impossible to speak, your pain heaving heavy gasps for air as you tried to make sense of what was happening around you.

“Everyone else is okay, Y/n” Chopper encouraged, checking over your IV lines; prompted by your obvious pained state. “You just worry about getting better. That wound is pretty deep and it will leave a scar, so don’t move around too much while it heals”

Turning around to face Sanji, Chopper toughened his voice, raising it to make him seem bigger. “You make sure she stays safe, okay? And follow everything I told you earlier! She needs to keep still as much as she can”

“You don’t have to worry about her, Chopper, I'll look after her. There should be some cake up in the kitchen for your efforts, go and help yourself for helping my sweet Y/n-swan”

Chopper squealed in excitement, quickly running towards the door in a flash on fur. As his body hit the deck his voice was followed by the usual kitchen thief’s; Luffy and Usopp.

Returning his attention back to you, Sanji’s face softened, lowering his head to avoid your face in embarrassment. “I’m so sorry, Y/n. I should’ve been there to protect you, to help defend you against that deranged marine. Someone who has the audacity to lay a hand on a women, especially someone like you, truely deserves the worst possibly death”

“I’m also sorry about our fight; about how I acted” Sanji looked back up then. “I need you to know I never meant to hurt you or betray your trust. I helped her because I could never turn my back on a lady in need, and in those few moments even though my attention was on her, all I could think about was you. Her basket carried all your favourite fruits, down to the loose handful of grapes that I know you would happily fight our captain for. The crease beside her eyes when she smiled at me was something reminiscent of how you look at me when I make you laugh. Her hair was curled just the way that your hair does in the morning, framing your face when you look at me. There will never be a moment when I don’t think about you and how much you mean to me. Monster Trio realizing they have feelings for you headcanons.

Written with a female reader in mind. (Also had some relationship headcanons.)

Luffy - Luffy isn't clueless per se, but he definitely doesn't know platonic feelings from romantic feelings. Definitely just thinks liking your presence means y'all are closer friends. - I imagine he would realize that his feelings aren't purely platonic when he notices he 'misses' you. Even if you're just sleeping in another room or when you're out shopping with the girls. - Eventually, he would either just straight up ask you about it or go to someone like Sanji or Robin. I imagine he goes with the latter though. - While Sanji is a huge simp, he would still know what Luffy is feeling. Robin would too, but is the better person to ask. Especially with how Sanji is. - Now understanding what he's feeling; Luffy is very straightforward with telling you. He doesn't like to beat around the bush. - If you reject him, he would flatten for a fat second but quickly gets over it. It's better to have you in his life than not at all and he doesn't want to lose his friend - If you share the same feelings then this man is immediately grinning wide and wrapping you in a hug. - 100% running around with you still wrapped in his arms so he can tell everybody about it. - Clingy in the sense he likes holding or being held by you. Not in the way he has to know what you're doing at every second. - Buries his face in your chest when yall start dating. He's not completely clueless and does know some boundaries.

Zoro - This bitch is so emotionally constipated that it hurts but he would at least know his feelings for you aren't completely platonic. There's something there that he can't completely put his finger on. - Would push you away at first because he doesn't understand these feelings. - But he can't shake this feeling in his chest when he does this. It's uncomfortably tight anytime he makes up an excuse so he doesn't have to be around you. - Would let up a little so he doesn't have to deal with this uncomfortable feeling, - He could realize that he likes you by himself but it's more likely that someone told him. Someone, probably Robin, noticed his actions and at least hinted at what was going on. -Wouldn't tell you right away. But it would come out because he probably told Luffy who then let it slip during a meal with everyone. - Everyone is shocked, Sanji would probably start ranting that Zoro doesn't deserve someone like you and that you probably don't like him back. Robin is just smiling to herself. -There's a chance Zoro might lightly smack Luffy in the back of the head, and Nami might too. - But there's a chance he is just continuing to eat like nothing happened. - If you ask him, around the others, he'll just shrug his shoulder and continue eating. If you do it in private, then he'll give an actual answer, a simple blunt 'yes.' - This man is unreadable sometimes, so if you reject him then he'll shrug his shoulders and walk off. He's a private person so he doesn't want to show his disappointment. Def sulks for a bit but eventually comes around. Just not as close as before. - If you return his feelings, he's happy about it even if it doesn't look like it. Maybe a smirk or slight smile. - Not a huge change from being friends and now being in a relationship. Maybe more touching but he doesn't strike me as a huge PDA man. Occasional arm over the shoulder or head in lap. - Fights with Sanji a whole lot over his behavior towards you now. Probably already did before y'all started dating.

Sanji - We are already well aware he's a simp and blindly does anything for women. However, he isn't completely clueless. - He thinks all his feeling towards women are genuine but with you it's different. -He's nervous around you, less confident. He still comes to fulfill your every need but is much more cautious. - It's worse if you willingly hug or show affection to him. 100% leans his face into your hand if you touch his cheek. - He does say things like "I love you (Y/N)-chan!" often but they didn't seem very serious so nothing happened of this. - He probably likes to reflect on his feelings at night when he looks out into the vast blue sea. - When he does work up the courage to confess, it's over a private dinner with you. Everyone has already been fed but he sets up a table just for the two of you on the deck somewhere. - He's so clearly nervous and very much not himself. This is different than randomly saying "I love you" to every woman he sees. -He was rightfully nervous if you reject him. He's so disappointed at this and it shows. Might beg a little but will flatter once you put your foot down. - 100% would occasionally try and convince you to change your mind. It will probs never be dropped. He's still attentive to your needs but there's some strain there. - Over the moon, if you return his affection. Yelling in joy and spinning you around in a hug. - Very loving and pretty clingy. - Please hold this man, he needs it. 100% little spoon.

This is my first actual post here after lurking for years on this and various other accounts. I haven't written fics since I was like 12, and that was super cringy. I hope you enjoyed and I won't mind some feedback.

you're not too sure what had just happened but you aren't complaining in the slightest.

one moment, you're fighting demons (the pain from your period) inside your room on the thousand sunny—the next sanji, who was walking by after serving the girls, enters to check up on you as he looks at you for a moment and then asks with hint of concern in his tone: “[name]-san, do you have a uterus?”

for a second—you were baffled, to say the least. who just comes up to someone and asks that question so randomly? but to consider how your appearance is rather androgynous and your voice can't be heard as either male or female (making anyone not guess your gender), without asking things any further, you nod and say that—yes, you do. but why?

the last thing you knew is that sanji walks away for a few minutes and comes back with a delicious chocolate desert, a heating pad (you assume he must've asked nami or robin), some water, and other stuff that would help you during your period.

you were surprised, but also not, that the cook would do something so generously to assist in your pain but you had to accept it nonetheless. you've only known him a few months since you've joined the crew.

he even offered to massage any parts of your body to help soothe the pain, which really did help and make you relax more easily without feeling pain in every position you take.

for the past few days, sanji has been the greatest help throughout the week of your period.

assisting in things you should've done yourself, running any errands for you when the crew has docked at a new island when you can't (even if you can, he'll still do it for you like a gentleman <3), serving you like he always does with chocolate-themed food, fruits, tea (ginger, peppermint, chamomile, cinnamon, red raspberry leaf tea), and etc. that could make you feel better.

you couldn't thank him any more for his assistance, though while you did wonder how he knew all this—you assumed he asked the girls for help or even had experience of this happening, probably with any female relatives or so.

after the week of your period ends, you decide to thank him for all his help by making him his favorite food on an early morning.

when he entered the kitchen to check on what was going on (he thought it was luffy again, trying to get food from the fridge again + with ussop's help), he was incredibly thankful even when he tells you that you shouldn't have.

(just tell him to take it and accept it- he just can't believe that you would do all this to thank him for helping you through your pain <3).

Hey I was wondering what everyone’s “roles” would be with the platonic strawhats especially with a reader who’s maybe the youngest? And as such their relationship with the reader- I could see the monster trio fighting over who’s gonna be the readers ‘big bro’ first while the girls are sat in the background already being called ‘big sis’.

In my perspective I’d say reader spends the most time with Luffy (of course), Chopper and maybe Ussopp. But I was wondering if jealousy would come into play and how the crew would work around it.

If the reader was younger, not a lot would change much. However, I do see you point on them fighting over your love and affection. In my mind, the reader would be around 5 to 12 years old.

Sanji would definitely be a mother hen, constantly making sure you're okay and eating enough. He doesn't care as much about being viewed as your big brother, he's happy if you're happy. I imagine that him and Chopper do that parent thing where they track your height using the door frames around the ship (IDK if that made sense or if only my parents did that). He would totally gush anytime you got taller only to instantly feel a sense of dread because that means you're growing up.

Zoro remains your bodyguard, just more teddy bear like. He doesn't carry his swords around you but keeps them in sight incase anything bad happens. If your younger, he'll let you play on him like he's a jungle gym. He pretends that he doesn't like it and you're annoying him, but secretly loves hearing you laugh as you're carried around on his back.

Usopp definitely wants to be your big brother. He tells you tall tales of his "adventures", feeling his heart sore at your look of awe at all the cool parts. He knows he's not the strongest, so him and Chopper are your "teachers" so to speak. They both try and teach you the best they can, while also making it fun so that you don't get bored. Usopp loves teaching you, since it causes you to view him as super smart and knowledgeable, and so you look up to him.

Like I mentioned, Chopper constantly worries about you. Any scrapes or bruises will not go unchecked, regardless of how small. Due to his anxiety, Chopper feels like any small thing could kill you, so he's constantly doing checkups. If you have the smallest discrepancy, he along with Sanji are forcing you to rest for the rest of the day. Although, he's likely to let you off the hook if you beg hard enough, since he doesn't want you to resent him as you get older.

Luffy is your designated playmate. Unlike the other, he doesn't care about being viewed as big sibling, he wants to be your best friend. He wants you to come to him whenever anything is wrong, and he doesn't like it when you hide things from him. While he won't force you, he'll definitely ground you if you refuse to talk to him about anything that's bothering you. He doesn't see any fault in this since he's so open, and believes that if you just talk, you'll get better. However, he's an amazing friend, sneaking you snacks when Sanji said you'd had enough, he plays games with you when everyone else it too tired too, and even gets you a new toy every time they visit a new island.

Robin is your big sister, not doubt. She's stricter that the others but isn't terrible. She makes sure you wake up and go to sleep at the right time. She forces you to eat all the healthy food you hate and will sometimes even give you chores if she thinks you been misbehaving too much. However, she loves you dearly, and wants to see you grow into a strong and smart adult, so she makes sure you read and train, especially as you get older. She gives off the vibes of someone who brags subtly about your achievements. Like some rando is talking about how their child just learned how to read a book all on their own, which causes her to explain how you read a book twice as long and is improving every day. She doesn't stop until the other person leaves.

Finally, Nami is like the cool aunt. She doesn't let you do anything too extreme but will let you do things the others won't. She'll let you come shopping with her and buy you handfuls of sweats and matching clothing. She doesn't care when Robin or Sanji gets upset, because she just cares about making you happy.

Zoro x gn!Reader

Words: 891 CW: SFW / Fluff / Party on the Sunny / Drinking alcohol / Just talks and stargazing

You join Zoro at the back of the Thousand Sunny. While sharing a bottle of sake you make yourself comfortable and wait for shooting stars.

A harmonic tune wavered across the Thousand Sunny, accompanied by Luffy’s laughter. It was a party aboard the ship. Drinks were passed around, snacks were served and everyone enjoyed a cheerful evening without worry.

Your chat with Chopper has come to an end recently, as he now headed inside the Sunny to catch some sleep. You observe the deck in search of your next activity. Would you join Luffy and Usopp, both pretending to be dinosaurs and fighting for meat? Or would you join Jinbe, Nami and Robin as they relax by the swing, talking about some random stuff? Brook and Franky were both busy, since Brook was playing the piano and Franky was adding a hook on his guitar to the tune. Sanji was also occupied, but he was constantly swooning over the girls, offering snacks and special beverages to them. Wait, someone’s missing.

You got up and grabbed a bottle of sake on your way towards the back of the ship. Your balance was a little off due to the alcohol and you had to steady yourself one time, but you made it without crashing into anything. Zoro sat with his back against the railing, his arms folded behind his head and his eyes closed. You admired his features as the moon illuminated them just perfectly before you let yourself fall beside him. He didn’t even bat an eye. Closing your eyes, you enjoyed the silence and the safety Zoro’s presence provided before opening the bottle of sake.

“Wanna share?” You took a small sip and offered the bottle to the greenette.

“Sure. Have you had enough of the party or were you just escaping some weird games?” He finally opened his eye and took the bottle from your hands, shifting on his spot a little.

“Haha, no. Chopper left and I searched for some good company to end the night with.”

He smirked and took another sip before he passed you the bottle. After a few moments, you broke the silence again.

“The night is truly beautiful. You think we’re going to see some shooting stars?” you asked.

“Don’t know. Want to make a wish?”

“Maybe. Even I have a goal I want to reach.”

“Then let’s get comfortable; maybe we’ll catch one or two.” Zoro said and repositioned himself so that he can see the sky better. He motioned for you to come closer, so you sat shoulder to shoulder beside each other, just the bottle of sake separating your hips.

As you scan the sky for shooting stars, you passed the bottle to each other silently. You enjoyed him being so near and the warmth that radiated off his body. There were no words needed and a calmness has wrapped around both of you quite comfortable. It was a few minutes later, that this blissful arrangement was broken.

“On my side, just above the horizon!” He nearly shouted and pointed his finger in that direction.

“Wow!” you gasped at the sight, but quickly closed your eyes to make a wish. As you opened them again there was a smile on your face.

“What did you wish for?” Zoro was curious.

“Can’t say. You know, if you wish on a shooting star, you can’t say your wish to anyone or it won’t come true.” You told him and smiled to yourself.

“Too bad.” Zoro took the last sip from the bottle before he placed it aside. “Got night watch later?”

“No, do you?” you asked, yawning a little.

“No.” Zoro answered and rested his head on your shoulder. “Do you mind?”

“No.” You said and rested your head on his. “You know, my grandfather used to sleep outside in the warm summer nights. If I were to wake up in the middle of the night and he was outside, I would always go over to him with my blanket and pillow and settle beside him. He would always tell me tales about the stars until I was asleep again.”

“You miss them dearly.” Zoro stated.

“Yes, there is not a day without.”

“Tell me more. If I remember correctly, your grandma used to bake these crazy good cookies that you try to recreate with the ero cook.”

“Oh yes! They were to die for!” you said enthusiastically.

You told him about the cookies and more stories from your childhood until you felt his head getting heavier and a soft snore could be heard. You smiled as you looked down on Zoro. This man was truly a mystery. You didn’t know that he had noticed you baking with Sanji and it amazed you that he remembered the fact that your grandmother baked cookies.

“Why… stop?” Zoro whispered half asleep and ripped you out of your trance.

“Huh?” was the only sound that came out of your mouth. You were flustered.

“Like your voice… Please… More lullaby…”

You were amazed at how Zoro could ask for something in his sleep, but who were you to deny his wish? “Alright, more you’ll get. But only until I’m asleep myself.”

You made yourself comfortable enough to stay the night on deck. A sweet hum was heard from the green-haired swordsman when you laid your head atop of him again. You closed your eyes and started your story.

“Once upon a time, there was a small twinkling star in the night sky…”

OMG YES YES YES!!!!!!! I LOVE THIS WEFNLSNDFLKEN I LOVE THEM!!! I have SO many headcanons for these two <3

Sanji comes out to the crew not long after the time skip, but the first one to know is Robin and she's the one that encourages her to tell the others. However, Sanji is worried (and yes, I am making it Sanuso because I am just that annoying with them) because she isn't sure whether Usopp (they're dating already btw) will still love her after knowing this (not the fact that she's a girl, bc Usopp is like, extremely bi and Sanji knows this. It's more like the concept of being trans and her body and etcetc). Robin tells her about her and Franky and how she was also anxious at first (she's also transfem btw. She has wise older trans girl energy) but he loved her body just the way it is. Perfect. "SUPERRR!" in his words, of course. So Robin tells Sanji that she's sure Usopp will love her either way, but if, for any reason, he doesn't want to keep going with the relationship, that doesn't make Sanji less valuable. Just like Robin didn't need Franky to tell her she's beautiful for her to accept it.

Turns out everyone accepts her, of course, even Zoro is nice to her. Robin is next to Sanji when she tells them the truth about herself and how she'd like to be treated now. However, Sanji is looking at Usopp and Luffy the whole time. Her boyfriend and her captain. Luffy's the first one to break the silence, saying that as long as she's free and happy and still cooks for them, then it's alright!! Robin gives her a fond smile while it happens. Usopp approaches her when everybody is walking away, and without saying anything else, he just kisses her. A thing that is completely new because Usopp is mostly a man of words, but right now he just wants to kiss her, and Sanji isn't complaining. Also, if you're curious about the other straw hats' reactions (can you tell I'm super into this whole thing):

Franky: Now we have three SUPERRRR beautiful ladies on the ship!! 😎 (Or, another option: *Dramatically sobs because Sanji just told them the most heartbreaking story about her life and how she struggled to realize she was a girl*) Nami: Oh fucking finally, I thought I would have to deal with this forever. I thought you were a pervert but turns out you were just repressed as hell! Way to go, girl!!! Welcome to the club!! Zoro: She's still a pervert- Good for you, though. I'm still going to beat your ass when we fight. Not going easy just because of this, shitty cook. Brook: Oh, dear, I'm so glad there are more women here blessing us with their presence. Now, may I see your- *Nami hits him so hard his skull almost breaks in half* Chopper: Sanji!!! I'm so sorry we didn't know anything!!!! Now I feel bad for treating you like a man!!! You're not!!! You're a beautiful woman, Sanji!!! (Sanji: Chopper, I didn't even know. How the hell did you expect to realize first-) *Sobs* I- I don't know!! But I'm sure you'll be even cooler as a woman now!!!

Robin tells Franky ASAP to build a bed for Sanji in the girls' room, but she doesn't tell Sanji right away. Nami helps her move Sanji's stuff from the boys' bedroom to theirs, and they make it a bit cozier and wider for the three of them. After dinner, they show Sanji what they've done and she almost breaks down crying.

Sanji is kind of self-conscious about her body, and she actually really likes wearing her suits, so it isn't a problem. But sometimes she envies Robin and Nami's clothes and bodies, and she wants to be able to wear dresses and more fem clothes too. Robin notices without Sanji saying anything and ends up lending her discreet clothes from her wardrobe for now until they have the chance to go shopping. Nami, then, is the one to buy clothes for Sanji with her own money (as surprising as it sounds) because it's, and I quote: "A real emergency. The fact that I haven't seen you in heels yet is a crime".

She starts thinking about her hair one day when Usopp notices it's getting a lot longer, running his fingers through it. Sanji has always been used to short hair. She doesn't even mind having it like this. A lot of girls have short hair. But perhaps she can... Try. Not cutting it for a while. See where it goes. (Lil spoiler: Turns out she likes long hair because it reminds her of her mom <3 Usopp loves it because this way he can do all sorts of hairstyles with it!!!)

The first time she showers with the girls at some thermal baths they find on an island, she almost has a heart attack. Being a girl does not keep her from simping, she's just a lot more normal about it (I have the lil headcanon that Sanji's constant pervert behavior is just gender envy). But also it's the excitement and feeling of belonging!! Besides, bathing with them is sooo much calmer and nicer than with the boys.

Issues with her voice? Not to worry because Robin, being the wise older transfem she is, teaches Sanji how to feel more comfortable about it and shows her tricks to train it for her voice to sound more soothing and high.

Eventually, Robin asks Sanji if she wants to try and contact Ivankov because they could help with her body, if she wants to. Sanji isn't sure. She feels like changing it completely would be like betraying herself because she doesn't want to be ashamed of her body. She's a girl no matter what, after all. But sometimes dysphoria is just... Too much. And perhaps living with a more fem body would help her. Robin tells her to take her time to think about it, and that no matter what she chooses she'll still be beautiful and a wonderful young woman!!

Silly lil thing but I think Robin would always use her hands (like, her extra hands) to keep Sanji's skirts covering her legs because girl be fighting with Zoro without realizing she's wearing a dress, lmao. The thing about her fighting style being all about kicking doesn't mix with well with some outfits.

Usopp used to be invited to girl nights, along with Chopper. Because Chopper is just, like, y'know, kind of their lil brother and Usopp is... Usopp is Usopp. He's the bestie of the gals. He's one of the girlies (he is not. He's just there because he's like the token gay friend in the girl group that always stands out. Like in teenage movies. Dude wants to be there and Nami doesn't complain). But once Sanji starts joining those girl nights, Usopp is completely banned from them. No boyfriends allowed.

Robin and Nami start using "Sanji-chan" to talk about her and it just makes her feel so so so happy!! (Actually I had to look up if Robin uses -chan for Nami and she actually does when talking to others about her???? Which is cute. I think they'd do it with Sanji for gender-affirming reasons mostly rather than just using honorifics).

Whenever Sanji argues with Usopp (surprisingly more often than you probably think, but it's just about stupid stuff) she always goes to Robin because she's the rational one and will probably help her better than anybody else. And also Usopp asks Nami for advice so Sanji can't exactly go to her.

If I start talking about my ideas for Whole Cake Island with transfem Sanji hiding that she's a girl and Luffy going after her to save her I might actually die so I won't (and this would probably change this whole thing to a Lusan post and we don't want that right now). But!! Thinking about Sanji in WCI missing Robin's presence because she always knows what to say, and not knowing if telling Reiju is a good idea.

I'm out of ideas ngl

I've had an idea for a while now, but I don't read much one-piece modern aus. (Opps I posted a little to soon lol)

Sanjis life is similar to cannon. He ran away when he was 8 and found Zeff when he was 10 had to return to his birth "family" at 21. He grew up with the younger gang, Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Chopper.

Sanji and Zoro were roommates in college, just as they finally confess thire feeling for each other. Sanji dissappears, and no one can find him, and the police are of no help. 8 years latter Zoro after returning home from a major Kendo championship, runs into Nami and a child of 6 years old with curly eyebrows.

Turns out Judge demanded Sanji marry Pudding (18 not 16) or eles he would charge Zeff with kidnapping and/or ruin his business the reastrunt. Sanji recltuntly agrees to this deal. The Vinsomkes were a once powerful family that are losing that staus but still have enough to get away with shit.

Pudding was in love with someone eles but also didn't have a choice in this marriage and after becoming pregnant (with she didn't want but didn't have a choice) had bad post partom and did receive help from a therapist for it but she kept dissapeing. For awhile, she would evently come back, but one day, she never did.

Sanji was able to get a divorce but had to sign a contract that he would work exclusively for the Charlotte Family. Devopling recipes and useing as many of thire products in cooking vedios as ge can. (They make four, suagr, cooking and baking utnicles, they make premade baked goods. All sorts of things.) Robin was his lawyer In all of this. That's how he met her and Franky. He moves back to town when it's finally safe to do so. He moved back while Zoro was out of town and was finally able to reconnect with his friends and real family.

The reason Nami is babysitting is because Sanji is showing off a new project to Katakuri, his main concatct to the Charlotte's.

Pudding does come back after the divorce and sees her daughter once a month. Part of the reason she dispared is so they could get a devioce. When Zoro is dating Sanji, she makes sure he's good for them both. She did care for Sanji she just was in love with someone else and wanted her own life. Wanted to make her own decisions and be her own preson.

Sanji has a flouting home that he and his daughter live on. Franky designed it with help from Usopp.

At some point, I'm thinking that the vinsmokes show up again. Judge wants to marry Sanji off again to someone eles. However, Sanji is no longer a Vinsmoke, and Robin made sure the Zeff would be under Big moms portcestion as well.

Zeff is very involved in his granddaughters life and definitely thinks Sanji shouldn't have gone, that he should have put up more of a fight, but what's done is done.

Genderbent Headcanons!

@genderbenduniverse requested genderbent Straw Hats and beyond! So here are my imagines for each Straw Hat, plus Law and Ace for good measure.

WARNING: I made them all dress slutty because I’m a crazy person

Luffy

Femme!Luffy isn’t much different than masc Luffy, I think. Gender doesn’t seem to be a thing that Luffy relates to much. She wears her hair in a short ponytail, and dresses mostly in loose jorts and t-shirts. She thinks makeup is genuinely hilarious and doesn’t even know what most of it is (she’s been known to put mascara on her forehead). I think there’s quite a few men (and women!) along the grand line that would love to date her, but she’s completely oblivious and uninterested.

Zoro

I already kinda HC Zoro as a trans man, so genderbent Zoro would be a trans woman! I imagine she transitioned after Kuina’s death because a) she promised Kuina she would and b) she wants to prove the world’s greatest swordsman can be a girl after all. Zoro wears her hair in a short pixie cut, and wears a simple wrap over her breasts (and not much else, she still loves going topless). She’s still muscular as fuck and definitely gives off butch vibes, but she’s very much still a woman.

Sanji

Sanji (Sanju?) is the femmest femme that ever femmed. Her long blond hair is always perfectly styled, her makeup is always on point, and her nails, while short, are usually painted to match whatever she’s cooking that day. And yes. She fights in 4 inch heels. But make no mistake—even tho she’s femme, she’s gay as the day is long. She’s always flirting with girls, trying to come across as a top, but come on. It’s painfully obvious that Sanji is a bottom. As a woman, Sanji has really had to fight to secure a place in the kitchen as an expert chef, and she does NOT tolerate bullshit or sexist remarks.

Nami

He’s lithe. He’s handsome. He has the perfect mustache. He’s undeniably smooth, sexy, and clever—the classic rogue. Nami typically dresses in VERY tight pants and flowing blouses, a couple buttons undone to reveal soft chest hair beneath. Nami will do anything it takes to get some extra cash. Pocket-picking is not beneath him, but he prefers a little bit of manipulation or even snake-oil-selling. It’s easy for him to tune into others’ emotions, and that’s his strongest weapon. That and his objectively perfect body. He’s the ONLY man that Sanji’s ever had any interest in.

Usopp

I imagine Usopp has a gorgeous head of natural hair that she’s really protective over. Other than that, she’s not much of a girly girl though. She wears skirts over leggings so she can still climb high in the rigging. And she’s known for the outrageous tales she tells about her sex life (and honestly I feel like fem!Usopp does get laid a lot, so who knows if it’s actually lies…)

Chopper

I can’t imagine Chopper is much different as a girl than a boy, but she has no antlers! I could also maybe see her having a mothering instinct, especially toward other animals!

Robin

Masc!Robin has short but well maintained black hair and usually dresses in a leather jacket and tight jeans. Idk why, but I could really see masc Robin having a motorcycle (perhaps built for him by his amazing girlfriend Franky?). His quiet personality and sudden, probing questions can put some people off, but deep down he’s just a good guy who wants to study the world around him. He can often be found in his study with a pipe and a book, researching historical events for the Straw Hats and talking quietly with Chopper, who he’s basically adopted as his daughter. I could also see him being really into cowboy shit for some reason? Maybe his study is all decorated Western Style.

Franky (short for Francesca)

Franky is still a cyborg, her whole body augmented. She always wears the world’s tiniest booty shorts over her sculpted steel butt (poor Sanji, our girl is down bad for those shorts), and you should see the shit Franky’s done with her boobs. Rocket launchers, helicopter nips, emergency flotation devices—those things can do anything. She loves subverting people’s expectations of her gender—Franky’s loud, extroverted personality and obsession with hairstyling gives off the vibes of kind of a basic party girl, but she’s still the engineering genius we know and love. Her boyfriend, Robin, can’t get enough of her.

Brooke

Brooke doesn’t look much different as she’s still a skeleton, but she wears the coolest vintage dresses you’ve ever seen. This woman can SING, and often serenades the Straw Hats with original blues and ballads. Of course, she can also play pretty much any instrument you can think of, but she’s a singer first and foremost. I like to imagine that her voice is as mesmerizingly beautiful as a siren’s (even if she doesn’t have any vocal cords, yohohoho!)

Law

Think Siouxie Sioux here. Law is the ultimate gloomy big tiddy goth GF, covered in tattoos that remind her of her mother figure, Cora. She’s tall, dresses in your standard 80s/90s mall goth clothes, and is rarely seen without a cigarette. You wouldn’t guess that she’s actually a talented doctor. Her best friend, Bepo, is the most important person in her life and is one of the only people to get to see Law’s warm, happy side.

Ace

Our lovely Ace wears her mane of black hair in a messy, shoulder length bob. She rarely wears makeup, and has long since given up trying to wear a shirt (they kept burning off). Instead, she covers up with a band of fire to hide her bits and bobs. Sanji wants to kill herself over this woman. She’s a shameless flirt, and notoriously bisexual—she’s probably slept with half the Grand Line by this point. Athletic, charismatic, and a powerful fighter, it’s truly an honor to get femme!Ace’s vivre card.

Hmmmm, how can I explain it...

Zoro met Sanji as a shameless flirt, right? It's just that his first impression was of Sanji flirting with Nami. That's okay, he considers Sanji an absolute moron for allowing Nami to manipulate him, but to each their own.

The next woman Sanji meets (in front of Zoro) is Nojiko, Nami's sister. The curious thing is that in the anime, Sanji doesn't react to her until Usopp says she's Nami's sister. He's clearly fixated on Nami, which okay, none of Zoro's business and he would not pay attention to it in the middle of a real crisis.

The party after destroying Arlong Park? Whatever, it is a party, everyone is excited, blah blah blah. He has seen it all, doesn't even care when he's drunk and happy himself. Move on.

Zoro is not there to see Sanji with Carmen and when they meet Tashigi, they're running for their lives (and Tashigi tells Sanji to get a grip and leave her alone to fight Zoro, so it's funny). Btw, there's a whole filler arc that I won't mention here.

Then Vivi walks into their lives.

Sanji doesn't react that much to Ms. Wednesday at first. I think it's partially in Whiskey Peak when Zoro loses some respect for Sanji, since he was so busy flirting with 20 women to realize they were in a trap. When they're back in the Going Merry, Sanji quickly flirt with Ms. Wednesday (Vivi) and Ms. Sunday (Robin), but nothing serious.

When Sanji learns everything, there's a moment when he goes to tell Vivi that "I still have a chance to shine. Now that the sleeping prince is awake, your safety is guaranteed". Zoro looks annoyed in the background.

For me, that's the moment when Zoro decided to treat Sanji as a total moron. All the respect that he showed to Sanji in Arlong Park and later at Logue Town? Gone from the surface. There were now two women in the ship and Sanji was being insufferable with both of them. Sanji's obsession with women proved to be a weakness of his, one that Zoro wouldn't ignore.

Remember how in Whiskey Peak there's a whole silly part of Luffy and Zoro fighting to see who is the strongest one? And then how in Little Garden Zoro is the one who starts their rivalry?

Sanji is very polite and normal to Zoro when he tells him to pick some food while he's going for a walk. What does Zoro do? He says "It's okay, I will hunt something that you would never manage to catch". Did he do it to force Sanji to train? Did he mean the jab because he was irritated with how Sanji treated women and how it affected him in a fight? What even was the need to say that?

After that, they were never normal. Zoro would react to every dumb flirt from Sanji. It's like he made his mission to irritate Sanji as much as possible. In turn, Sanji would answer the banter with insults of his own. Point of no return lol.

I think Zoro knew exactly how good Sanji was, but it frustrated him that Sanji would allow women to manipulate him and walk over him just like that. He also hated the fact he wouldn't take women seriously— the base of Zoro as a character comes from the very dilemma that girls can't ever be as strong as men, it came from his childhood friend, the person that he carries both in his weapon and in his dream.

"Do you think a swordman should hurt a lady?" is a slap to Zoro's face and not in the right way even.

It makes you wonder, you know. If the story could ever explore what being a woman means and how Zoro and Sanji think of it, given their respective childhood traumas. If we'll ever see acknowledged the root of Zoro and Sanji's rivalry. If it wasn't for their view on how a man should treat a woman, how would they treat and react to each other?

Maybe that's why I'm obsessed with Zoro and Sanji's dynamic. It's fun to pick it apart.

my headcanon is what if robin was not shown celebrating in wano is a subtle way that she's jealous that hi/yori is crushing on zoro.

if u look back, whenever the sh save a country/people they always have a big banquet at the end. sh likes to party very much. look at skypiea, post-enies lobby, thriller bark, fishman island, etc...

robin always does her exploring after the big celebration but during wano, she made it during the feast. and why is that? she never once missed a big party. she's not too shy away from such a big celebration.

in episode 1079, we saw that luffy and zoro woke up after recuperating from the big battle. chopper, nami, brook, jinbe and sanji were the only sh presents when zoro and luffy woke up. the sh who were not there were robin, usop and franky. usop and franky are in the dock obviously for the ship and we cut to robin already doing her exploring.

in that episode, it was revealed that hi/yori is the one cleaning zoro's body while they were still asleep for a long time. she even bragged about it. zoro being zoro did not pay attention to it since he was more into bickering with sanji.

we all know, that brook saw hi/yori and zoro slept together not in a sexual way of course but hi/yori is very much into zoro that she drapes herself into him while the little girl otoko is also resting beside him. i wonder if brook told anyone in the sh about it. based on sanji's reaction he does not know.

i dont know if brook kept it as a secret. and if ever he's going to tell anyone my best bet it will be robin. cause robin will always wants to know about zoro (look at thriller bark, even the 1st interaction they'd ever had on the going merry). we all know she is very inquisitive when it comes to zoro.

going back to my point, i think the reason why robin is not there during the big banquet is because she does not want to see hi/yori clinging to zoro. she was not in the celebration and just focused with her work since what a smart archeologist would do compare to a princess giving too much attention to zoro? bury herself into work, looking for poneglyph, learning about wano's history etc...

on thriller bark, after the fight with kuma, she was there checking zoro's health. but here in wano she's not there which is very odd since like everyone else robin also cares for luffy and zoro.

she could've done all her exploring after luffy and zoro wakes up but no she decided that she did it while everyone's celebrating bcos she does not want to see hi/yori with zoro. even law caught it that she was not there partying.

even though it's not explicitly shown in the episode or maybe even in manga, but my girl robin is jealous... so her coping mechanism is to bury herself to work.

robin is always very reserved for letting anyone know how she feels. even though she has already been showing a lot of expressions after the timeskip. i mean oda will draw sanji and hancock getting jealous but not nami and robin cos it will instantly go to the romance trope of it all. with these 2 main girls it always subtle.

Trusting Touch Nico: Robin X Reader

Reader POV

We had just left Alabasta and found out that Crocodiles right hand woman Miss All Sunday or now known as Robin had snuck onto our Ship and wants to join our crew. Usopp was conducting an interview, asking about her skills and abilities. She explains she has the powers of the flower flower fruit which grants her the ability to sprout different parts of her body like flowers. She demonstrates her abilities by playing around with Luffy and Chopper. Luffy, Sanji and Chopper seem to take to her almost instantly and accept her as a new member, meanwhile Usopp, Nami and Zoro are still more suspicious of her since she worked with the enemy before joining. I'm still indifferent towards her and this whole new member situation.

After Robin uses her powers with Chopper and Luffy to make silly faces Usopp cracks and joins them now seeming to be okay with Robin. Nami cracks when Robin hands her a pouch filled with gold and becomes happy. She goes to speak to Zoro and I'm not sure what they said but he seems slightly calmer now. Well that's good, it seems like she's gotten approval from the crew so I guess she's our new member. It's nice to have another girl around, she's not gonna replace Vivi of course but it's still nice to have another girl around in a crew filled with men. I sat on an empty crate near the railings staring out into the ocean, Alabasta had been extremely stressful and I think I did something to my back during the fight so I'm constantly trying to move to make my back comfortable. That's when I notice Robin coming towards me with a small smile.

"Hey, I think I've talked to everyone already except for you, correct?" She said in a calm tone." "Yeah, we haven't talked yet. Is there anything you want to talk about?" I ask back. "I want to show you I'm not a threat and you can trust me. Is there any specific way I can gain your trust?" she asks. "Not sure, can't really think of anything" I say while rubbing my back, she seemed to notice and smiled again. "I see you hurt your back, did something happen back in Alabasta?" "Yeah, while fighting I was hit into a building and stuffed up my back, wish I got a massage or something before we left." She chuckles and crosses her hands, "Let me help with that." Suddenly two pairs of arms appear behind me, two hands start rubbing my lower back while the other two rub my shoulder blades. The hands work carefully and gently to rub my back and take away the pain from the battle.

I was a little startled at first but quickly relaxed into the touch of her hands as they worked away my stress and pain. "Robin your hands are like magic, your powers are perfect for relaxing~" I say as I let out a soft moan. "Yet also, the perfect power for assassination~" Robin says with a small smirk. My eyes widen as I think about how well her power is for assassination. She chuckles and speaks, "Don't worry, I don't plan on snapping your neck~" I let out a sigh of relief and relaxed into the massage again. After a few minutes the hands disappear and I stand up, "Thank you so much for that. I really needed that." "Of course, I hope now you can see I'm not a threat and that you can one day trust me as a member of the crew." She smiles sweetly. "Actually I trusted you from the beginning." She looks surprised. "I trust Luffy's decision so if the captain trusts you the I trust you, so really you didn't need to do that but I still appreciate it." She chuckles again, "I see. So you conned me into giving you a massage?~" "I didn't mean to but who's gonna pass up a free massage?" We both chuckle and I suddenly feel a slap on my ass. I turn to see what slapped me and saw one of Robin's hands quickly disappearing from behind me. I hear her laugh and turn back to her with a playful grin. "You better not do anything like that again~ Well I'm glad you trust me and I hope to get along well as a fellow member of the crew." She says as she turns away and walks away.

I like this new member, she seems nice and really smart and I hope we can get closer in the future. To be honest, I only have good feelings about this new member and what she'll bring to the crew.

That's another one for now. I started water seven yesterday and to be honest I am not having fun, I'm definitely gonna add Frank, Lucci and Akoiji to my list of people I'm gonna write for. Next fic is going to be another Crocodile X Reader so look forward to that and I'll see you in the next post
