rewatching Zou and thinking about how the Heart Pirates really wanted to meet Luffy but Law had almost immediately asked Luffy to talk in private and the Heart Pirates were all like "not cool captain come on” and giving thumbs down to him.

i know this is a stretch but

Luffy and Law weren’t together for maybe a couple hours, maybe a day at most???? and Law is already stealing Luffy away like they didn’t just an arc and filler together lmao. Law’s crew just wanted to meet his boyfriend😭 and hang out with him, the last time they saw Luffy, he was like half dead you know? this is good blackmail material for them though, Law being all clingy is adorable as hell.

btw the fact that we all refer to the heart pirates as ‘law and his hearts’ makes my fucking heart hurt. they’re literally his hearts…. law really found love and family again and they’d follow him to the ends of the earth if he asked and they’re all his heart, every single one of them. he’d set the world on fire to keep them safe and they’d do the same in return. crazy fucking shit!!!

Its impossible the Heart Pirates (or most of them) are dead. I'm sure they'll prove how formidable they are as a crew of purely non devil fruit uses with at least Penguin and Shachi possibly being mixed fishmen. They can survive the water! That was the point!

Of course, there is a slim chance this could be the purpose for the Ope Ope no Mi to have the ability to grant immortality and Oda really had to beat the shit outta his OC to give him a reason to just give someone immortality. Hopefully losing his family is not how this happens.

Every minute I was onboard that absurd ship of theirs trying to keep up with their antics I was inching closer to throwing myself overboard.
