This is the post where I try to convince you that Gushing Over Magical Girls(aka Mahou Shoujo Ni Akogarete aka Mahoako) is actually a wholesome sex positive story about young lesbians exploring their feelings for one another in a world without homophobia. (and I'm serious.) If you are a fan of yuri or magical girls, who dismissed mahoako as being horrible exploitative garbage, this post is me trying to convince you to give it a chance. It's not some horrible male gaze rape fest.

These characters are explicitly, canonically lesbians, who are in love. They're women who love women, and aren't afraid to show it.

This is a story where a girl struggles with whether she's being a creep by thinking her girlfriend smells nice.

They talk frankly about their anxieties about kink.

there's pining childhood friends. (who actually get together.)

There's all sorts of lesbians, from wholesome uwu schoolgirl crushes, to weird traumatized alt girls making each other worse.

Also, a character looks directly at the camera and reminds people that consent is important and you shouldn't touch someone without their permission. Basically, the story uses magical girl tropes as a framing device for the 'magic circle' of kink. In the same way that people use bdsm is a safe space to explore their feelings in new ways, the characters use magical girl battles, which are kind of treated as 'not real' in a similar way. But of course there's the elephant in the room. It's an extremely horny manga, and most of the characters are minors. These are high schoolers who touch each other's boobs. I totally understand if that alone is enough to put you off it, but I will say, these are horny teenagers getting weird feelings about each other and figuring themselves out. They're not powerless victims being exploited. For one thing, there's literally no men in this entire show. Not even a single background character. They're all women. If you're on board with a story about 14 year old girls having funny feelings about their classmates, I'd say give it a shot.

If you're *almost* on board, but the objectification still makes you a little uncomfortable, I can assure you, the story consistently focuses on how the girls feel as people, and goes far beyond simply objectifying them in a sexy pose. The kinks serve a purpose in the plot, and to enhance characterization, so if you do read it, don't completely skip past the kink scenes.

Also, if you're actually curious the kink, I should mention, it's not just bondage and spanking. in the first season alone, they've done waxplay, giantesses, abdl, exhibitionism, electroplay, tentacles, and "the room you can't leave until you fuck" among others. There is a smorgasbord of perversion here, but it's balanced out and contrasted against a bunch of really cute little character moments, especially in the manga.

If a poobian's mental health is hurt in anyway, that poobian's mental health will directly correspond to their physical health, causing the poobian to fall ill.

If a poobian falls to much into their pit of despair, they can "metamorphize" into a party pooper. Party poopers are the antithesis to poobians, thriving off of despair, sadness, and turmoil. Party poopers aren't inherently evil, but their nihilistic and melancholic nature can cause party pooper communities to be.. Not the healthiest space for anybody to be in.

Party poopers can remorph themselves into a poobian, but that requires extensive mental health intervention for that to happen. Depending on how much despair is in a party pooper, recovery can take as long as years.

To avoid this, poobians are a very social species. Full of many support systems ready to help any poobian! Though unfortunately, toxic positivity has been prevalent in some poobian societies. And there's a silent, but all to painful ableism riddled in poobian society as a whole.

"It is fucked up that Bloodborne only has two and a half black people and Yamamura" is one of the most bewildering comments I've ever heard on Bloodborne tbh. Like, it had me genuinely stare into void for six minutes.

It is true that there aren't many people of color in Bloodborne, but Yharnam IS inspired by Victorian times Czechia, so it makes sense majority of characters are white? Still! We have Henryk and Suspicious Beggar, both with very brown skin and implied Loran descent (Loran having strong Egypt vibe too!). Yamamura is Japanese, for sure! We have a Yahar'gul Hunter found in the same underground prison as Yamamura that is a black man, and there are other Yahar'gul hunters who are black/brown that seem to be similar to Henryk's descent. Simon is lighter brown and shares face data with Djura's Apprentice! Djura's Ally is brown. Bestial Hunter has been transformed with.. well, beasthood, but from his face data we can get a hint he used to be a PoC too.

It is not that they're all suddenly "not important" except for three either! Not a fan of "this character doesn't count because no one cares about them uwu" mentality. From the looks of his fate, Yahar'gul Hunter from underground jail was a detractor from Yahar'gul like Antal, and might have helped Yamamura to run! You definitely remember the trio that ambushes you in Yahar'gul, each fighting in a unique way, where did the "they're polycule" takes go all of a sudden? Besides, over half of Yahar'gul hunters use Church weapons, they could have been the victims of starting repressions against foreigners, and unfortunately the ones visually foreign were the most vulnerable. Forced to work with the one guy that accepts EVERYONE as long as they're useful. (Also yes, a potential much more dark explanation for lacking PoC in Yharnam than it being inspired by Middle and Eastern Europe). Djura's friends are certainly important, they stayed by his side, and one of them even continues protecting the beasts after his death! Djura's Ally is even mentioned in Bloodborne's official guide as the one that aids Djura! Bestial Hunter is implied to have been the member (if not owner) of Oto Workshop that was BETA Powder Kegs! Soulsborne characters are often as interesting as the fans WANT them to be!

That's like 12 people of color, not 3! I think the thing we can agree on is absence of women of color. Yurie is a misinterpretation since Zullie datamined her (simply blonde with grey eyes) face data late and her name actually being Julie is not exactly a viral knowledge. With Eileen, she doesn't have face data and voice actors do not bind to any specific interpretation, but even if they did it would not explain why specifically English VA should be crowned as "canon" one. Why not French or German or Italian or Portuguese then? Why not Japanese original, after all? We weren't given female characters of color as far as canon goes, unfortunately, but personally I think Bloodborne is not THAT devoid. You just need to look beyond just the characters who have more evident dialogue and story, Soulsborne games like to tell their stories I silence!

Mephisto/Amaimon - why ship it? (All 3 q’s)

Rin/Shiemi — why don’t you ship it? (I hope I’m asking this right)

I think we will probably have similar reasons but it never hurts to ask!

Mefiama, why ship it:

1. Ok! So for the first, really my og aoex ship was amairin bc I'm a battle couple shipper first and foremost but mefiama was a close second and it's bc I'm a demon lover after everything lololol

Specifically, I've loved characters like mephisto and amaimon as long as I can remember, starting from my og fav yyh Yoko Kurama and Hiei (which in my head is a different ship than Hiei/Kurama). But, like that ship, I actually never really liked/like the ways fandom portrays them. Characters like Hiei and Amaimon both end up woobified and turned into stereotypical uke characters with the big sexy dom/seme mephisto/Kurama to seduce/play with them.

And to me that always pissed me off bc of how ooc it made them all out to be. I love Hiei and Amaimon bc they're little feral shitheads who have a massive independent streak to them and act/are totally inhuman. They both poke at each other and cause each other headaches and I live for it lololol

They're spicy as hell too and I love that in a ship. The second I saw Mephisto keeping Amaimon strung up on spears in the cuckoo prison that was it for me 😩👌🔥

2. The draw for these characters and the ship is that they're both inhuman creatures that only pretend at humanity, or in amaimons case, is forced to play nice by mephisto if he wants to be stomping around his territory.

What I really love about them, though, is that while Mephisto has the upper hand in the dynamic, Amaimon also knows his character and can see past his clown mask bullshit. He knows the demon Mephisto really is under all the sparkles and show boating. He's an observer and even when Mephisto is focusing on his goals and plots and shows, Amaimon is there on the sidelines keeping tabs and picking everything apart. I think Amaimon thinks Mephisto is interesting or has potentially interesting ideas. The thing about demons is they're constantly looking for something to keep them interested through their eternal existences and with Mephisto, Amaimon has a source of enrichment lol

I also like the fucked up premise of how Amaimon has an inherent trust in Mephisto that gets abused in canon. We saw him getting incredibly hurt by the shiemi reveal, as if Mephisto keeping that info from him meant Mephisto was treating him like one of his human pawns and not with respect as another demon king.

3. I'm not sure if there's an unpopular opinion I have for them, except that I tend to find most fandom treats them incredibly ooc and it makes it difficult for me to enjoy content of them from others. Mephisto as the over simplified seductive seme, doing typical melodramatic evil villain stuff and Amaimon being reduced to a uwu baby idiot who has never had sex despite being a who knows how old demon king. I've got a ton of bitching I've done over the years about it (and it's the same treatment Hiei always got back in the day so I'm used to the frustration) 😂

Rinshi, Don't Ship:

1. Man I feel really bad to say this but this is one of the most vanilla/boring ships in the fandom outside of bonrin. It's just so typical hot headed anime boy protag/girl next door love interest, even as much as they're both incredibly well developed characters, and as much as I love Rin.

It really just comes down to Rin being a, like, base ingredient for me as a ship. Like him being involved in a ship isn't on its own enough to make me enjoy/ship something. (Amaimon, on the other hand, immediately spices any ship up and I've even got a few rinamaishi fic aus out there lol). But I've never been interested in the sweet, hard-working character archetype. I can't help it, I'm into edgy bastard gremlin characters, the antagonists and anti heroes lololol (The exception to this in aoex is Yuri and that's bc she's got that little mischievous bad girl zing to her I love lololol). Shiemi just doesn't have that spice I need to really invest in a character.

2. What would have made me like it is just if Shiemi was a different character lololol like, she's just too sweet for me, like a marshmallow. Her in her string Independent woman era isn't really doing it for me either bc it feels like all her character development got cut out in that training arc she was just in. We missed a good opportunity to see her reconcile things with her grandma and her growth just to watch her toss an Amaimon copy and it feels like we got cheated out of her character arc.

If she just had that little spark that Yuri had it might work for me but I haven't seen it and until then it feels like every other typical anime main character/love interest ship, and it's just never been a dynamic I've never been into.

3. Positive things I have to say are that I think Kato has always done a phenomenal job making her characters feel realistic and not the usual anime shallow stereotypes. So when ppl tell me they enjoy the ship I'm like yeah, if ur into those kinds of characters and that ship dynamic, you've come to the right series to get a really well developed couple who feel fleshed out and who have had a developing relationship throughout the series. Totally understandable, just not for me.

ok i mentioned this a looooong time ago but i love the idea of Byleth having a teddy bear or even a djungeskog. in fact i wrote a fic about byleth having a teddy bear lol. but yeah in a modern setting, i can imagine them having some plushies on their bed, like bears, dogs, cats, etc. since yuri is allergic sometimes byleth gets him stuffed animals instead uwu

but i can also see them collecting plushies of like. game characters/collectable things/pokemon/etc. maybe putting them on shelves instead of the bed.

i still can't get over the fact that jeralt gives byleth a teddybear as a reward for that one quest. so i like to hc that byleth had a teddybear growing up, and then once byleth and jeralt go back to garreg mach, jeralt gets them another teddybear. byleth keeps it indefinitely. (i never give it away when i play 3h, i always keep it in byleth's inventory throughout the entire game <3)

The following is my personal preference and I absolutely believe that all interpretations of the Ultimate Lesbian Ship:tm: are valid as fuck even if They Don’t Cater to My Particular Needs. Okay, so like, am I the only one that kind of balks at the way most Malenia/Finlay fics are written--specifically in terms of sex scenes? Like, nothing draws me out of a Finlay/Malenia story like a sex scene, because it’s either Malenia acting like a mommy ojou-sama figure or her just becoming a full-on wilting submissive. Finlay, meanwhile, is nothing but an eager ‘imutou’ like figure, just so happy to be with Malenia-senpai that she’ll just do whatever her mistress wants. And Malenia’s almost inevitably a sex goddess if she’s not an eager little minx submissive. it’s just.

So.

Boring.

It’s like I’m watching a really outdated yuri/shojou-ai story from the 1990s/early-to-mid 2000s. Or Cinemax. People can’t seem to find a middle-ground to Malenia’s contrarian personality (in that she is somehow a BAMF, determined, assertive GOAT as well as passive, reactive, and surprisingly chill), and Finlay seems to have no personality aside from stern knight or ‘omg senpai i would die for you’. The sex scenes inevitably suffer as a result. Like, I get so many of us are desperate for that good Malenia/Finlay WLW kush, but come on. Give them some personality. Stop falling into banal yuri tropes.

I realize that part of the problem is that Finlay has no canonical personality outside of absolutely devoted and BAMF motherfucker who loved her boss enough to drag her across the continent on her back, but like, the fandom can’t seem to decide if she’s an eager uwu senpai type or if she’s a stern knight, and like. It’s like they can’t seem to find a happy medium in personalities for EITHER of them.

Please. Please. Try to diversity in both sex and character portrayals. I don’t want to feel like I’m watching Strawberry Panic when I’m reading an Elden Ring wlw fic.

 (For anyone who is curious about my own portrayals, Finlay would die for Malenia, but she is also an uncooth, snarky, incorrigible little shit, and her antics either leave Malenia laughing and smiling against her will or doing the emotional equivalent of ‘rolling her eyes’. Finlay definitely likes to joke around in bed and Malenia’s like will lightly smack her head or tweak her nose and be all ‘look are you gonna keep making puns or are you going to go down on me already?’ Malenia’s on the bottom 80% of the time, both because A) it’s really nice to be taken care of when your entire existence revolves around you being an unshakable protector, and B) she suffers from chronic pain and mobility issues, so not only can positioning be difficult, but having sex with your metal prosthetic arm and leg on can be a bit of a buzzkill at times, so she’ll occasionally take them off. She can move around fine without them, but topping when you can’t balance yourself over someone is...tricky. They do a lot lying-on-their-sides sex.

Also, their afterglow is always affectionate but often peppered with Finlay’s  puns or random questions. Like, they’ll literally both have just come down from orgasm, and Finlay will be like ‘hey Mal, if a tree falls down in the woods and no one’s around to hear it, does it make a sound?’; and Malenia will resist the urge to smother her (lovingly with a pillow) and be all ‘of course it does, Finlay; just because you can’t hear something doesn’t mean it doesn’t obey the laws of physics.’ And then Finlay’s like ‘okay, but how do you know for sure if you’re not there to hear it?’ and Malenia DOES bring the pillow out and start to smack her on the head as Finlay cackles maniacally.)

I love how you play with perspective and characters (I'm talking about Rivals btw, though I see this in your other fics). I love how you recognize that Yuuri isn't an uwu cinnamon role who is just a victim to other people and his circumstances, but actually a deeply flawed and kinda selfish person who tends to project his issues onto Viktor, whether that was through obsessive hero worship or obsessive hatred. I found the dissonance between the way the characters of Viktor and Yuuri view the world and each other vs their actual reality to be downright disturbing. Like (I see this in canon too) it takes so goddamn long to get past seeing Viktor through this untouchable, inhuman lens, which is believable because of his fame and notoriety. This lens kinda leads to all those weird interactions between Yuuri and Viktor even in canon, where Yuuri kinda assumes that Viktor will be ok no matter what he (Yuuri) does because it's Viktor, y'know? And that is not a healthy way to view your partner's vulnerabilities. Cesare wrote a really good fic which kind of explored this issue called "makes no sense to fall". I like how in your fic, it is so very clear that we are dealing with a couple of completely unreliable narrators. Like, perspective is such an important part of this fic, with Chris, Yuri, Viktor, Yakov and Yuuri especially. Yuri triggers Yuuri's realisation of his love for Viktor and like, it's all from Yuri's barely informed perspective of Yuuri. I think that makes a good point about how you should never assume? Viktor assumes Yuuri doesn't skate and that he and Yuuri are connected when at the time they really...weren't, Yuuri assumes that Viktor hasn't changed since he was 15 because of one experience, Yakov assumes Yuuri is a cheat and playboy without even having the full story: everyone is making assumptions and judging everyone without getting multiple perspectives. I mean jeez, at least Yuri gives Yuuri the benefit of the doubt at first, and tries to give him the other side of the story instead of letting everything go to shit. Thank god to Yurio for saving this ship lmao. Even with the fans and the little parts with social media, you can see how distorted their images of Viktor and Yuuri are. There was this fake post where someone said something like "it's not like Katsuki actually cares what people think about him anyway" and it just?? Fucked me up???? Like that was the moment when I was like "oh wow they really don't see them as human at all" which come to think of it, is kind of like how Yuuri sees Viktor at first. I think it makes an interesting commentary on the dangers of idolising anybody. It's personally poignant to me because it makes me re-examine the way I view celebrities or people I generally admire.

Thank you!! When I started writing the fic I knew I wanted to write Yuuri as an unreliable narrator and explore how warped our perception of other people can be. I was going through a really rough period in my life while I was writing Rivals and experiencing some pretty bad mental health issues. A lot of Yuuri in that fic was a reflection of myself and me trying to work through some of my own issues. At the time of writing it, I actually had untreated and undiagnosed anxiety and I was struggling a lot with how it affected my relationships with other people (always assuming the worst, thinking every little minor thing meant they hated me, relating everything to myself rather than accepting people had their own lives and their own justifications for doing things that had nothing to do with me etc). A little while before writing the fic, I had started to try and fix myself and stop getting so caught up in my own head and my own worries that I stopped seeing the bigger picture and viewed other people as reflections of my own fears rather than individuals. So I wrote Yuuri partly based on my own feelings and to pick apart my own issues.

Thankfully I'm much better now (thank u therapy and medication!) but I'm still very glad I wrote the fic the way I did because I love exploring how drastically different two people can see the same scenario and how our past experiences shape the way we see the world. I also loved writing the social media sections because I have a lot of Thoughts and Opinions on celebrity culture and I wanted to explore how not only is Yuuri's perspective of Viktor messed up, but so is the media and fans perception of both of them and how that impacts their relationship and perceptions of each other

While the mods of the blog theisleofnowherethatneverwas (the Tumblr url for their main blog, henceforth abbreviated to IoN) are all minors, their actions and the way they've written serious topics with no care or thought into their AU are downright despicable. We are not denying the fact they can change, but they have done far too much for their actions to be simply swept under the rug with a private apology. Again, we emphasize that the mods are completely able to change, and it would be greatly appreciated if they cleaned up their act and apologized for the grievous harm they have caused. With that being said, we’ve made this post to show some of the key issues with this AU, so others may avoid interacting if they don’t wish to, and some   awareness can be made as to the harmful nature of this AU…

The two most noteworthy characters designed by the IoN would be their Nikei, and their Tsurugi. Their Nikei was a obsessive yandere who fits the stereotype of creepy, predatory gay preying on a uwu soft boy, and he was a highly manipulative, abusive person. His actions were made light of in the server, and one person who has since left the server recounts being @ed by Mod Lulu 7 times to continue on with a rape roleplay involving IoN Nikei. Tsurugi was a rapist, implied pedophile, and sexual harasser who used nepotism to get himself in power, and was described as “wanting to corrupt pure people” sexually. He is a victim of CSA and perpetuates the cycle of abuse stereotype, while being another predatory gay. Fic was written of both characters raping someone, and in his DRA intro, Tsurugi sexually harasses Utsuro, then goes on to rape Teruya shortly afterwards. Victims of CSA who tried to speak up about this/further develop Tsurugi were ignored in favor of keeping him as he was. His fate gave him no growth or redemption, he was just another rapist and abuser who couldn’t change what was “in their nature as he was taught it” like a majority of the IoN characters. Nikei was given no explanation for his issues, but that doesn’t mean what he did was written properly. While it was scrapped, at one point there was plans for him to eat and fuck Mikados corpse, as Mikado was the object of his affections. Tsurugi was hypersexual due to his trauma, and was written as a rapist freak due to it. Nikei was portrayed as evil for breaking the heart of a girl crushing on him (who, in some of their in-universe AUs/alternate endings, then “became a lesbian”) and there was a scene written, possibly scrapped, in which he had sex with her as a way of manipulating her and gaining information. Mod Strawb has justified this due to her believing she has hypersexuality, and the argument “canon isn’t morally perfect” has also been used.

Many of the other characters in their AU are either equally disgusting, or lack any real substance outside of one trait. A good example of this would be their AU’s Yuri. The Yuri Kagarin of this universe is a stereotypical “trap”. Him having tricked Shinji into spending time with him so that he could manipulate and use him for his own cause, via dressing as a girl, and encouraging Shinji to see him as such. This feeds into both a predatory gay man trope, alongside a few transphobic ones. Another character with questionable writing would be their Emma, who, as said by one of the mods themself, is “afraid of black people”. Furthermore, another good example of this poor character writing would be Kinji, who is written as a victim of cult abuse, but infantilized to the point that being child-like is the only real trait he has. Plenty of other gross misrepresentations of abuse and it’s after-effects were written by the IoN mods, such as giving Iroha anorexia, which was only shown through her having visible ribs, and was not consistently written into her character.

Onto the mods themselves, they were informed several times that the way these topics were being handled was less than satisfactory, to say the least, but refused to make any real changes. Additionally, outside of the main story, a few of the mods produced problematic bonus content, such as headcanons stating that Hibiki was performing sexual acts on her sister, that Kanade either didn’t understand, or was asleep during. Mod Lulu also pinged unwilling members of the server multiple times to coerce them into rape roleplays on several occasions. Mod Strawb drew rape porn, on top of defending pedophiles. Though these other mods will not be specified, many encouraged the doxxing of an individual who wanted to express her problems with the server. As a whole, several of the main mods also knowingly partook in plagiarism, stealing designs, and even a blog format from others, without consent or credit.

When Mod Strawb was reached out to about some former contributors to the AU making a post detailing their experience, the person who reached out to her misspoke and called it an attack. A different person involved in that post was added to the DM and explained that it was not an attack, merely an “educational PSA” involving nothing but quotes from the IoN blog/server and people involved in it’s creation. Mod Strawb said she understood that the first person had misspoke, left the DM, and proceeded to tell the server about how an attack was being planned on them. The second person added to the DM was in the IoN server, and attempted to ask Strawb publicly why she had lied, either in the DM or the server, as she had said she understood that wasn’t the nature of the post, and tried to explain. That person was spoken over and ignored, began to have a panic attack, and asked Lulu and Strawb, the two others active in the conversation to stop until the second person wasn’t having a panic attack, or to move it to DMs. Despite Lulu and Strawb both agreeing, in less than a minute, they continued the conversation in that channel, directly asking that person (referring to them by name) questions, causing them to leave the server. When pointed out to her that this was the reason that user left the server, by said user, Lulu had no comment.

The mods of this AU may not have meant to cause harm, but their actions have caused quite a lot of damage to the mental health of people they've worked with, along with promoting stereotypes that have contributed to the pain of many real life gay and trans people, sexual assault victims, and child abuse victims and regularly stealing content with no credit or consent from the original creator. We do not want these people to be attacked. We just want them to be held accountable so they apologize for their actions, can grow from this, and stop harming others. Attempts by others which involved reaching out to those involved in the IoN beforehand resulted in one individual narrowly avoiding being doxxed, and the IoN simply viewing those others as “dramawhores.” As such, this has been made and evidence has been compiled in hopes that no others will get involved in the IoN while being unaware of others accounts and the material it goes over, and so they may no longer run from their actions.

Regarding the aforementioned plagiarism: A different tumblr blog, also calling itself a beta au, was started on August 23rd, 2019, 8 days before the IoN came up with their beta au. At least one IoN mod, Lulu, was aware of the existence of the account, and even asked it’s sole mod for a promo before later asking for his help with the creation of the IoN. Comparing the two blogs intro posts, they read as very similar, and Lulu has admitted to their post being inspired by that shown on the other AU (another-dr-another, henceforth abbreviated to ADA.) The mod of ADA, after assisting the IoN by completely writing the IoNs DRA, fixing numerous lore and consistency issues, and beginning to work on designing their version of the canon games, left the server after mods Lulu and Strawb continued a conversation he had requested they stop due to it making him have a panic attack. They would go on to accuse him of plagiarism, stealing the name and concept of the beta AU. While in the server, he requested they not use the same post formatting as what he used, they ignored that, and credited him for it in one post. No other credit was given despite him citing himself as (and others involved in the IoN verifying this) the main person designing the DRA characters, sole person making that killing game (order, murder, execution) and was working on all three canon DR games at once upon leaving. When questioned about how the DRA characters were handled, he told us how he planned them out, the development and growth he tried to give them, and how the IoN ignored that for only the very base of the characters. Additionally, he said he felt pressured to make/engage in content he didn’t agree with morally, a sentiment echoed by numerous others involved in that AU.

Especially taking a stoic, badass FEMALE character and going "actually inside they are all soft and timid and uwu and traumatized". And its not just Byleth like slapping trauma and sexual abuse on every female character even though there were no indication of it in canon, especially since there ARE characters that canonically has that trauma like Yuri and Dorothea, is just creepy af.

Yeeeeah the sexual abuse stuff especially is very... concerning. Reading through those portions (of what appears to be the start of the take) had me like “umm... but why are you adding this though?” Can’t help but feel a lil’ Actually Peeved at the constant babying of Edelgard and how much this fic strips away what makes her so engaging to watch; her unyielding will even at doing reprehensible things, her conviction in her ideas and methods no matter who stands against them, those things are very nice to watch in a villain! 

But, well, because Edelgard can’t be the villain and also do these things at the same time, she’s reduced to this nervous wreck who’s so afraid of everyone leaving her (even though in canon she’s sad about this, sure, but she move right along with her plans if this does end up happening to her), and she’s so caring about Jeritza and so sad about “having” to let TWS use him (spoilers for the chapter 11 notes lmao) (when in canon she couldn’t give less of a shit), she’s terrified of Thales and barely controls herself when talking to him (again chapter 11 lmao) (while in canon she’s annoyed at having to deal with him when talking to him, maybe she’ll get a little mad at him). It’s a lot to deal with when reading this
